FOUR.
"I love you."
Villain scoffed, "No, you don't. You're drunk."
Hero steped forward, trying to take Villain's hands in their own. They were brushed off, "I do." they insisted.
Villain sighed, "You don't even know what that word means."
"I do." Hero protested.
Two 'I do's, you may kiss the bride.
Villain shook off the joke.
If they were anyone else, if their situation with Hero was anything else, perhaps it would actually work. They could be domestic, cuddles, binge-watching Modern Marvel's re-runs, dates, hand-holding.
But they weren't and it wasn't.
"Do you even know what this-" Villain gestured between the two of them, "-means? What you- your feelings mean?"
Hero frowned, "It's not wrong to feel this way."
"I didn't say that." Villain wished Hero never told them this. Villain could live with the ignorance and the dancing around the bush, the flirting, the snarky comments, "It's wrong to feel this way about me."
Hero's voice, despite being intoxicated, was certain, "Do you think yourself undeserving of love?"
Villain laughed at that. A paniced, insane, broken, hurt laugh they didn't know they had, "I don't want you." A lie.
Hero smiled softly, "That's okay. I just wanted you to know."
Well, did Hero, perfect, warm, gold, and special Hero ever wonder if Villain wanted to know? No, they were selfish and egotistical and sacrificing and perfect and pretty and put people before themselves.
Just above a whisper, Villain said, "You deserve someone better."
Hero's grin faltered, "So you do think yourself undeserving."
Villain chose to stare past Hero, instead of meeting their eyes, "I think that you shouldn't waste your time on someone who thrives on everything being the same. Someone who can't bring themself to care for you the way you deserve to be cared for."
"Well, self-awareness is a great start" the charming, beautiful smile was back. It was blinding.
"How much have you had to drink?" Villain said instead.
Hero's smile was sad, "I don't want to forget tonight."
"I rejected your advances."
"It's okay. I just wanted you to know that I love you."
Villain took a step away from Hero, avoiding their gaze, on the bridge of breaking down, "Please, stop saying that."
Hero smiled still.
Villain hated change.

Okay the thing is with the Williams decision is that it's obviously so horrendously shit at a personal level. Logan should NOT be having to pay for someone else's mistakes, let alone this severely. And because of this whole situation, there's an insane amount of pressure on Alex to perform well now too.
But they don't have the luxury of looking at it solely on a personal level, because the whole reason they're in this mess is because of funding (and their lack thereof). As insane as it might seem that they're doing this so early in the season since we don't even know what place they might be fighting for later and whether this would make a difference, that's exactly why they have to do it. Placing higher in constructors means they get more money, which improves their chances in the future. Sure, this might not amount to anything later, but it also might be what gets them that extra place and extra money.
Objectively, putting Alex in the car is the best decision for the team.
Should they have been in this situation at all? Of course not. Is it fair that Logan is taking the consequences of everyone else's mistakes? Of course not. But they don't have the luxury of ignoring what's best for the team right now, however much it completely sucks

look ive been getting so caught up in the misogyny of tex but i am always thinking about the scene where church forgets her bc like
the world is already ending. church is 100% positive both he and tex are going to die in there and he is fully prepared for that moment. and so the moment of him forgetting her isn’t actually him erasing her from the narrative or killing her himself to break the cycle or anything like that.
it’s him promising to let her go. to stop bringing her back. to finally let her stay dead and stop dragging her back to a world she doesn’t actually belong in. he’s finally returning her agency to her, by letting the ghost that he has resurrected time and time again finally rest.

Oh yeah, Angel Dust has a sister, her name's Molly, there are a bunch of speed drawings with her.
Anon I think you are the only fan of Molly as I have not sent her be mentioned outside of 2017.
Genuinely thought that Molly was like Niffty/Vaggie situationship because I had NO fucking clue what stance Molly even was outside of just looking at a distant glance over definitely not realizing that was what happened to the past 'Angel Dust Drag'..... The fact that it personifies into a woman that is barely mentioned [much like angel representing or doing drag in the first place], turned into fucking THIS????
I cant even begin to comprehend.... She speaks for herself honestly. You can tell that viv genuinely did not give a fuck about the implications here or the lazy design that is 'Hmm angel dust but pink girly'
I feel like she just became cut content considering there hasn't ever been a mention about angels' family besides his Arackniss
Kinda weird how angel is more focused and put down upon in the spotlight more with Valentino and less with his 1930s mobster Italian spider persona :/ Even attempting to make a different womanly character known as the sister of angel dust, she is still tied down to him and has nothing besides this rainbow vomit old design.
How could I not be confused over angels' stance on dragging while VIV can't even fucking make characters up for him without retconning over herself!
You want this mess of a character design to be made but not Baxter???? I'm baffled. Thanks for bringing this horrid 'writing' decision to my notice. Since viv doesn't give a single lick of sense about Molly I too did not realize that Molly was supposed to be the hyper feminized pink eyesore that was SUPPOSED to be Angel's DRAG PERFORMING CARICATURE???
Your ask has the exact same amount of punch as telling me that Blitz has a sister, they are underwritten to be one of the same since they're women obviously Viv just doesn't like writing women ! :/
