I’ve always been a big fan of post-canon Luz secretly going through Belos studies of Grimwalkers and Basilisks. Because while she hates hime down to his very core, he did accidentally make two of the most important people in her life and she’d put it on herself to be able to care for them if something happens.

The talk about Hunter’s healther reminded me of an idea where Hunter has a really bad fall, like whatever he uses as bones is visible, everyone’s freaking out. But Luz just starts determinedly mixing a healing salve that Belos only used to put Hunter back together when he went too far. Hunter recognizes it, looks at Luz, and he feels terrified.
