Happy Valentine's Day, loves! I still have absolutely no inspiration to write (lmao) but seeing as it's the day of love (my pfp is finally in season), I felt like we needed something on here. So, I'm writing this on the fly, in the Walmart parking lot while I use their wifi to sync my OneDrive (as I said before, no wifi at home ew). Written on tumblr, one proofread through because we die like real men here. Enjoy!
John:
John more than likely forgot what day it was
Lucky for him, he remembered about three days before and bought you gifts
His favourite things to give you are flowers and chocolate (the one thing he's traditional on)
"Johnny, guess what day it is?" you say
He stands there with a vacant expression for a moment
"Is it your birthday?"
"No, John" (unless you actually were born on Valentine's Day lol)
He thinks for a moment, chuckles, and says, "I didn't forget, birdie" (he most definitely did) before going and getting your presents from their hiding spot
You still don't know how he managed to keep chocolate and flowers fresh for three days without you noticing
You smile, say your thanks, and give him a little kiss
John simply replies with, "Anything for my little birdie"
Paul:
Paul is the type to go all out on Valentine's Day
He wouldn't say it's his favourite holiday, but it's in the top three
Has been planning your gifts for months but didn't pick them up until the day of so they wouldn't get lost or damaged
His favourite things to give you are jewelry pieces and lingerie
One of his gifts is a trip to Paris
"It's the city of love, mon coeur!" was his excuse
He takes you atop the Eiffel Tower and...
Bends over to tie his shoe
JK, he kisses you super hard
And then proposes to you
Ofc you say yes
Then you run through the rainy streets, trying to avoid reporters
George:
George is very simple with Valentine's Day
He still does everything with love in his heart, but he's not so extravagant as other people (you don't mind, of course)
His favourite things to give you are flowers and handmade cards, though he has been known to gift songs on several occasions
He does enjoy using Valentine's as an excuse to take you out to fancy restaurants
In fact, you usually make a week of it and try as many fancy restaurants as you can
He always feels slightly bad for not being as extravagant as others, but you always reassure him it's just the way you like it
Then he showers you with physical and verbal affection to make up for it
Remember those toothy kisses from the SFW alphabet? Those come into play here
He spends a lot of the day describing to you just how much he loves you
Anytime you mention how much you love him, he says something along the lines of "I love you more"
Ringo:
Much like Paul, Ritchie goes all out on Valentine's and plans ahead
Unfortunately, he's very bad at secrets and always wants to tell you about your gifts early
As soon as February 1st hits, you practically have to hold his mouth closed to preserve the surprise
No matter how much he wants to tell you, though, even when you don't shush him, he shushes himself
His favourite things to give you are rings that match his or fuzzy socks (your flat is quite cold most of the time)
He likes to parade around town, hand-in-hand, proudly showing you off as his
He also likes to just stare at you with stars in his eyes, though he does that just about every day
"What's the matter?" you ask, thinking something must be wrong with your hair or stuck in your teeth
"Just happy I'm yours, my love," he says
You boop his nose and reply, "I'm happy I'm yours, my little Starr"

I’m a Pushya sun and my ex was Uttara Phalguni sun and rising. When things were good they were GREAT, however when things were bad it was an absolute nightmare.
He was extremely judgemental towards my body count and sexual history. I told him if it’s a problem let’s just break up bc I literally cannot change it. He told me that I “wasn’t just some girl”, so he’ll have to overcome it. Proceeded to spend the majority of the relationship berating me for it, calling me a slut and a prostitute. He said the cruelest things a person has ever said to me. He said 99% of men would never love me and he was the 1% of idiots that did. When I finally cracked and went crazy and shouted at him, he held that over my head and i felt terrible for it. At that point we were smoking a lot of weed, and I could barely even process my emotions, it was terrible. I explained all the terrible symptoms I was experiencing and told him I would stop. All the symptoms I said, he told me is what he feels like all the time for years (because he had been smoking like this long before he met me). He told me he would stop as well. That was a lie.
He got super violent, would beat me up so badly during sex, would also pressure me into having sex with him - he would ask over and over and over again until I said yes. He also knew he was doing this cos one time he asked me if I felt pressured by him to have sex and I said yes and he got so angry AT ME for him pressuring me. There was an instance where he hit me across the head and it hurt so bad I had trouble hearing for days and I told him that he hit me too hard, my ears are ringing and he just giggled and said “I know”.
A month before our relationship ended I found out he had a tik tok account where he would post alpha male podcast clips (keep in mind we’re grown adults) - had no idea about this the entire relationship. Also, he pretty much lied to me about everything (granted he has a Rahu moon) even the most stupid things like liking anime for example. I just thought it was cringe and I didn’t watch it at all, and he lied and said he felt the same - come to find he had like anime pfp for a bunch of his online accounts. Lied to me about his family, where he came from, friends, romantic and sexual history, his interests, likes and dislikes, so many things. I had also found a message from a dating app on his phone.
The relationship ended after I found out he relapsed again and completely lied to me about it and was cancelling plans with me just to smoke and play video games with his friends. When I broke up with him, he begged me stay, said no one had ever loved and cared for him this much except for his mother, all of these things. Made me even more confused as to why he treated me like I was the devil then?? I was past the point of conversation so it was just a bad ending. He punched my mattress and told me I would regret leaving him. That was the last I ever saw him.
Goes without saying I learnt a bunch from that relationship! I’m pretty sure he hated my guts but I took care of him and met a lot of his basic needs (Maslow’s hierarchy) so he kept me around to fulfil them. I think he was also just possessive; he didn’t want me but more than that he didn’t want to see me with anyone else. Some of the worst days of my life were in this relationship but in a weird way I feel like this was Saturn teaching me a lesson - I was an idiot who literally forgot who I was for this relationship, made it my number one priority, and had zero self-esteem or self-advocacy. So many points where I should’ve walked away but I learnt the hard way. Never again!!
I am so glad you got out of that relationship!!! Please stay safe!!! Thank you so much for sharing your experience because in my own experiences my yoni consort has been toxic and abusive as well (it does not compare to yours at all tho). I wish you so much peace and healing. You're so strong 🫶
Side note: have you guys ever noticed how a Nodal person seems to be proud of/brag about their interests if at all they have any?? 8/10 they'll be lying about the depth of their involvement in it too lol?? Is it bc Nodal people find it hard to connect to things so when they do, they're just like 😤imma make this my whole personality 😤my ex spoke about how obsessed he was with Greek mythology and how much money he spent on Greek mythology books but he could never talk about it at length?? (he also had substance issues so i attributed it to that tbh)

So its basically from a deity grian crossover with empires (i made this before he canonically visited the server LOL) coupled with the imo absolutely hysterical concept of Joel just refusing to believe in deities and demons and the like. I mean when Xornoth showed up, mans deadass went ''i do not see. i am looking away. Xornoth? never heard of them.'', so its probably the same with gods.

Hello!! I’m alive and well.
I haven’t had much to post as most of my art has been unfinished and/or private worldbuilding stuff or figuring out people’s designs. However I have fallen into a deep critical role hyperfixation on campaign 3, Ashton’s design and Campaign 1 Percival (etc etc) de Rolo and his whitestone arc, so I’ve been doing a few doodles of some designs here and there - specifically for c3 since I’m still new to c1. This is the first proper colored one however, so yay! It’s Ashton in pretty much the same outfit Taliesin wore during Ashton’s introduction bc I haven’t been able to get that visual out of my head :] I love their laugh, whenever I hear it is when I can best visualize them in my head, it’s so distinctly their sound.

Hi hello yes friend! <3 I am fairly certain this is another bit from LTL, but let me check...
OH NO. Ohhhhh this is from a VERY OLD version of the bathtub scene (still Remus POV!), before I ended up reworking a bunch of things. I'll note what changed under a cut, but uh. Here is a small, inoffensive snippet of this one lol

Dora snorted, squirting different coloured dyes into several small bowls. They'd broken out the good china for this exercise, he'd noticed.
"I absolutely can."
Sirius sighed dramatically, and Remus was beginning to suspect he'd somehow switched consciousness with his fifth-year self.
"I just fancied a change."
"Then paint some walls or something, you prat, not…" He trailed off, gesturing vaguely at Sirius' hair, which truly looked horrid. "Eugh, look, no offence, cariad, blond is not your colour."
"You don't think it makes me look like my cousin? My dear old mother used to say we had the same cheekbones." He pursed his lips, tapping his cheek with his index finger. He did have lovely cheekbones, but that was rather beside the point. "Probably why she tried to marry me off to her, come to think of it."
"Cissy had actual colour to her hair. This is… erm…"
"White?" Dora supplied, grinning as though she weren't at least partially responsible.
"Well, that's a word for it, isn’t it? Thank you Dora."
Sirius scowled; the effect was rather ruined by how ridiculous he looked. Don't laugh, Lupin, you'll just get him all het up again. Whatever made him happy, right?
Right.
"I’m never staying blond, ta very much."
Dora winked at Remus, then grabbed Sirius' head firmly and turned him so he was looking straight down into his lap. "Too right you're not, now sit still so I can apply this."

OK, so if you want to see the changes...
This was the version where Remus ALSO sat down and let Dora dye his hair (he no longer does this.) Fun fact: this is what my PFP is from lol. I'm still a little sad I lost that bit, but. Oh well. It really wasn't that important.
The hearing never happened in this version, so Sirius was still trying to figure out a legal way to clear his name rather than Remus flinging himself at the situation like an angry cat.
The whole borderline alcoholism angle with Sirius was not addressed yet like it has been in LTL-canon, and the problem was going to be a lot worse. I decided to walk it back a little because he didn't really get the chance to full-on spiral down that particular well like he did in actual-canon.
This version takes place the same night the Weasley kids + Harry show up at Grimmauld Place. I pushed it up earlier in the month instead because it was WAY too messy and honestly I didn't want to put a bunch of anxious teens in the same house as a couple of inebriated adults. As I was writing it out, the discomfort overrode any comic value.
Sirius got to be The Adult In The Room, which... I ended up reworking as a concept into some better/healthier moments, since it's important for his character arc.
The discussion between Remus and Dora re: his past addiction issues was originally going to happen here, and Remus was also going to mentally draw parallels between his past and Sirius' current struggles. I felt it was a little too on the nose.
I had been laying the groundwork for actual UST between Dora and Sirius here, which no longer strictly lines up with where they're headed in LTL.
There was a photograph of Remus with green hair. I will be working this into LTL canon SOMEWHERE, or so help me XD
Remus took paint thinner to Walburga's portrait, and Dora drew a dick on her with a sharpie which she couldn't scream about, owing to no longer having a mouth. While the scene is hilarious, I could not in good conscience keep this as is, and the writing in the dialogue is so genuinely terrible I want to cry lol. (Not like the words they're saying are bad, just I was still in the "need to write the way they sound" mode, and it just isn't a good look, it's going back in the hole forever.)
There's probably some other changes here but yeah, just generally tone and trajectory and pacing and plot alllllll changed from where this was at initially lol.

Omg I've been waiting for this
So mcyt means minecraft youtube, but usually also includes Twitch streamers. It's like a in general thing, and not pointing to anything specific
But since you sound so confused, I'm gonna explain to you the Dream SMP lore 'cause why not
TL;DR: Chaos and war, basically also like a hamilton, heathers, and les mis crossover (but i mean if you want to understand everything you should read.)
If theres spelling mistakes, sorry
Note: Everyone on the smp has three canon lives, and when you loose all three you're canonically dead (except philza minecraft. he has one canon life bc hes known as the hardcore guy bc he had a minecraft hardcore series for 6 years until he was killed by a spider while trying to fight a baby zombie lmaoooooo)
IMPORTANT: THIS IS ALL RP. IRL THEY’RE ALL FRIENDS. THERES A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE PLAYER AND THE CHARACTER. THE RELATIONSHIPS AREN’T ACTUALLY TOGETHER IRL. ITS ALL THEIR CHARACTERS THAT THEY MADE UP. (obviously the best friends stuff are irl)
In the beginning there were 8: The Dream Team (Dream, Georgenotfound [the guy in my pfp btw :)] , Sapnap), Badboyhalo, Awesamdude, Ponk, Callahan, and Alyssa. Around this time, nothing much happened since it was all brand new, uhh yeah (this was around may-july of this year)
Then around late july new members joined: Tommyinnit, Tubbo, Wilbur Soot, Eret, Skeppy, Fundy, Punz, Purpled, and Schlatt. This part is very important to the lore, because the lore kinda started off with the british (so tommy, tubbo, wilbur, eret) Schlatt was banned, cause Sapnap was the one who invited him and Dream didn't know who he was. He'll come up later.
So Wilbur and Tommy decided to create a new nation called "L'Manberg". Also around this time (i think) Nihachu and Jack Manifold joined. They also were part of L'Manberg. There was this huge revolution between Dream Smp and L'Manberg. Very historical period on this smp. In the end, (i think it was?) L'Manberg who won (if memory serves).
After that, L'Manberg had started growing bigger, with a lot more buildings added and stuff, notably Church Prime, which where they created a religion for Twitch Prime, which is how you can sub to your favorite twitch streamer for free if you link your amazon prime account. I'm pretty sure around this time, Quackity, Karl Jacobs (if you watch Mr. Beast; yes, that karl jacobs), HBomb, Technoblade, and Antfrost joined. And then the railway war started. It happened when Tommy accidentally ran over Dream with a Minecart and then took his stuff. This is how the disc war started (once again, if memory serves). The two discs Tommy owns are his prized possesions, and Dream took them. Also around this time the Pet War started, with Sapnap killing someones(i forgot oops) pet. And then more pet killing. Annnnd then even more.
Then there was the L'Manberg eletion. There was POG2020, who was Wilbur and Tommy, SWAG2020, Quackity and George, Coconut2020, Fundy and Nihachu, and Schlatt2020 which was Schlatt. Oh yeah and he got unbanned btw
SWAG2020 and Schlatt2020 decided to combine their votes, thus Shclatt became president and Quackity his vp. Oh and ever since the election Quackity has this grudge against George bc he slept through the election. Schlatt renamed L'Manberg to Manberg, and exiled Tommy and Wilbur from it.
Schlatt is a evil dictator who likes power. He and Quackity started fighting, and so Quackity became part of Tommy and Wilbur's side. Around this time was The Battle of the Lake and The Burning Eiffel Tower, both part of the pet war. (It seems like a innocent war but its actually brutal lmao) Also (irl) Mr. Beast had a $10,000 Taco Bell gift card hunt. Eret won. It was at the cords 6969,420, because haha funny number haha weed number. This has nothing to do with the lore but yeah. Eret also became King of the SMP
Then there was the Manberg festival. It was to celebrate democracy, but Tubbo puts it as "i decorated my own execution" bc he helped decorate it, but he was murdered there. At the festival was the Manberg Massicare, where Technoblade was forced to shoot tubbo, but he released a firework rocket kiling Tubbo, Schlatt, Quackity, and a few others. Many people lost one of their canon lives. Wilbur went all J.D like and planted 11 stacks of TNT underneath Manberg, and wanted to blow it up.
Pogtopia was formed, which is a ravine which i think is underneath? manberg? Which included basically everybody who wasn't neutral or with schlatt. On November 16 was the Manberg VS Pogtopia war, but the Badlands were also there. The Badlands is a nation of four people: Bbh, Skeppy, Awesamdude, and Antfrost. They faught with the loosing side, so the chaos could continue. Eret disobeyed Dream and got stripped of his royalty, and gave it to George. Oh and during this time, George had no idea there was a war and was building a cottagecore mushroom house with callahan and was very confused with all the death messages in the chat. Schlatt died canonically of a heart attack or stroke (no one knows tbh). Tommy became president, passed it to wilbur bc he still has unfinished buissness with dream (the discs), and wilbur passed it to Tubbo, who made Tommy his vp. Technoblade then argued about how government is bad, and they're just repeating history. Philza Minecraft joined the server, but no one could find him, until Wilbur blew up L'Manberg (they rechanged the name also). Wilbur then made Philza kill him, so Wilbur also became canonically dead. Then Techno, still mad at L'Manberg and governments, summoned two withers and made it attack the others. The Geogre decided to check out what was happening and helped fight. After the chaos, Captain Puffy and ConnorEatsPants joined the smp. About one to two weeks later Vikkstar and LazarBeam joined, then about three months after that Ranboo joined.
They rebuilt L'Manberg on stilts, and there water where the explosion was, but now with coral and stuff to make it all pretty. Tommy and Ranboo decided to go steal from Georges mushroom house, but then also griefed it and burnt it, and Dream, being a George simp, built obsidian walls around L'Manberg. They took Tommy to court, and was put on probation. Then Tommy got exiled (again) but this time by his own best friend. This made Quackity vp and Fundy secutary of state. Dream also took Georges king thing and gave it back to Eret because Eret has a good relationship with everybody, whereas George being King just caused chaos cause hes close to Dream. Quackity and Karl made Mexican L'Manberg, and George and Sapnap joined in also. War against Dream SMP, it was a negotiation and it got renamed into El Rapids (reference to Chilling in Cedar Rapids, which Hilary Clinton once said, and Quackity referenced it, got it trending #1 one twitter (well i mean dsmp gets things trending like everyday but), and got DONALD TRUMP TO SUBTWEET HIM. (This happened irl)
In his exile, Ghostbur (wilbur as ghost) and Tommy made Logstedshire, and Dream was often there to watch him. Dream then blew it up, and now Tommy is living with Techno in his arctic place. Currently, Quackity made a thing called The Butcher Army, so they could execute Techno. Tubbo, Quackity, Fundy, and I also think Ranboo? are trying to get another festival, and yes its a secret execution plan, but for them to kill Dream, who they realized is who they need to kill first. The disc war is still not over. Tommy has one of his discs, but Skeppy is in possesion of the other one.
Unluckily for Tommy (reguarding the discs), something happened in the Badlands. Bbh was digging out his underground statue room (he plans to make a statue of everyone of the server) and found this crimson egg. He, Antfrost, and Captain Puffy kinda got possesed. Also since Skeppy didn't really hang out on the server at night, but bbh does (OF FUCK I FORGOT TO MENTION HE AND BBH ARE BEST FRIENDS) Captain Puffy created Discount Skeppy, which is her in a Skeppy skin. Skeppy found out, had a little conflict with her during her stream, but it was resolved, and at one point in the stream, he asked bbh to choose between him and the egg, and when bbh didn't answer, he went to the egg, put himself inside it, and logged off. Couple days later, bbh and puffy got him out, hes now possed by the crimson, called Technoblade his "best friend" infront of bbh, and is now living in a grass hut. Bad is convinced theres still some skeppt left, but yeah. Skeppy also wanted to burn the disc.
End of lore for now, bc its like if you miss ONE STREAM YOU MISS LIKE A REALLY IMPORTANT EVENT AND ITS STRESSFUL
Not much part of lore but Nihachu and Captain Puffy once went on a date. They’re both bi irl and Puffy was on Nihachu’s Love or Host (twitch dating show. its really entertaining) Captain Puffy was a contestant, and chose love. (LoH is also how Nihachu and Wilbur met.)
Funfact: Theres 5 irl lgbtq+ ppl on the server (people who came out, anyways cause you never know, ya know?) Antfrost is gay, Eret, Nihachu, Captain Puffy are all bi, and Karl Jacobs is ace spec
Family stuff: Philza Minecraft (he'll come up later) had two twins with a Samsung Smart Refrigerator in the 70's. The two twins being Wilbur and Technoblade (he'll come up later also) and also had another son, Tommy. They also adopted Tubbo, who they found in a box on the side of the road. When he grew up, Wilbur met Sally the Salmon, and they had a fox together (dont ask just go with it), which was Fundy. (The character) Fundy is trans, and yeah . Bbh is a dad to sapnap and yeah
Oh and a new member is coming on today on Quackity’s stream (twitch.tv/quackityhq at 5pm CST if you want to watch)

Wilbur Soot is also a musician! He wrote I’m In Love With an Egirl, The Internet Ruined Me, and Your New Boyfriend. (did you know the last one beat taylor swift for #1 trending on youtube? idk why but im really proud of him for that) They’re all catJam’s. Go listen!

Getting to Know You - Tag Game
I was tagged by the awesome @rinielle!! Thank you for the tag, I had fun doing this. <3
1. Why did you choose your url?
I chose my URL because I’m a fan of Studio Ghibli films. “Susuwatari” refers to the soot sprites that are in Spirited Away, and “kompeito” refers to the colorful star-shaped candy they are fed.
2. Any side-blogs? If you have them, name them and why you have them.
So I started a 2ha sideblog, but I only have one post on it so far and its just a housekeeping one haha. It was in anticipation for the release of HYX/Immortality. However I don’t think I’ll have the capacity to manage two blogs so I decided to just save the URL and have all my mess on my main blog.
3. How long have you been on tumblr?
So I created my blog years and years ago, probably in 2010? But I never used it, and had only a few things posted. In June 2020, I wiped everything and started reblogging The Untamed content.
4. Do you have a queue tag?
I do, but it’s really boring. It’s just “q” because it’s quick and easy to type.
5. Why did you start your blog in the first place?
No clue haha. I think it’s because I liked anime and wanted to look at gifs? But again, I never used my blog so I can’t really say for sure.
6. Why did you choose you icon/pfp?
My icon that shows in the dashboard is the manhua version of Jiang Cheng. I chose him because he’s my most favorite MDZS character (since this is a mostly CQL blog) and also my favorite fictional character in general.
I also have an icon on the sidebar of my desktop theme, which is circular gif of HuaLian. I chose that because I love that pairing so much (third-most favorite) and also I wanted TGCF representation on my blog.
7. Why did you choose you header?
I have two headers, one for my dashboard/mobile, and one for my theme.
I recently changed my header (it used to be Jiang Cheng gripping Sandu) to a gif of the Twin Jades from the MDZS donghua. I chose that because I love the character design of them in the donghua. I think they are really ethereal and I love how graceful they are in that scene.
My desktop theme header is a BingQiu gif from the Scumbag System donghua. I chose that as my header because I love that ship so much, I love that scene, and I love SVSSS in general. They are my second-most favorite ship so I wanted to represent them on my blog somewhere.
8. What’s your post with the most notes?
So I just started making my own content like a month ago, so I haven’t had that much time to build up notes (and none of my text posts got particularly big at all). The post with the most notes is this Nie Huaisang birthday edit which has just over 1K notes. Honestly, I was shocked when it reached that number because I didn’t feel that good about the set when I posted it. But the comments in the tags have been super encouraging and I am thankful that people like the set.
10. How many followers do you have?
More than I could imagine! I’m still a growing blog, so I don’t have a whole lot, but I’m thankful for each and every one of my followers.
11. How many people do you follow?
Around 200! I feel like that’s not a lot....but I’m following new blogs pretty consistently.
12. Have you ever made a shitpost?
No, my brain is not big enough for that. Though I have an idea for one...but I don’t think it would be very funny or anything.

Never, because I don’t really get a lot of asks and I only use messaging/askbox/tags for saying positive things. I don’t believe in starting fights, and if someone were to try start one with me...I think I would probably try to diffuse it as quickly as possible.

I don’t feel one way or another, I just simply scroll past. If people choose to reblog it, that’s up to them.

But at the same time, Ruby absolutely grew up watching remnant’s bill nye the science guy and also is smart enough to make crescent rose, and also I think she’d read a lot about any topic that interested her. And Neptune would be such a romantic and secretly read YA romance novels. Just. Bookworms bonding, yes. Also they’re both autistic don’t @ me. Seamonkeys but this is where I actually Talk About It
So. The fall of beacon wasn’t actually the first time Sun left his team, and he says this himself. He did this in volume 1, when he ditched them to leave for vale early. So the thing about not just seamonkeys, but the whole team dynamic, is that this isn’t the first time sun fucked up like this. But what makes the fall of beacon the more important and gut-wrenching and dynamic-altering one, apart from what I just said, is how long he’s gone. He’s gone for months. And right after the fall of beacon no less, which was traumatic for everyone, these boys included. So while they’re recovering and trying to get things back to “normal,” they don’t even have their team leader there to help them or even just be with them.
Neptune of course is in love with him. Obviously. Who do you take me for, this is a seamonkeys blog. Honestly I think he was in love with sun the whole time and has been pining since the beginning of their friendship. Anyway, he’s got all these conflicting emotions about what’s happening. Obviously they’re all mad, him included, but most of all he just misses sun. And his absence is noticeable. Who’s there to rally them into doing dumb shit anymore?
The worst part is that they can’t contact him, because the CCT network is down. But can you imagine, the day that sun finally showed up again in his contacts once he went back to haven? God.
So once they’re reunited, neptune clings to him. He doesn’t want to lose him for a third time, and he also wants to make up for lost time, and also he wants to be able to pretend like none of it ever happened, that they can go back to their normal routine now that he’s back. That’s what they did last time, right? And between sage and scarlet not wanting anything to do with sun, neptune trying so hard to pretend things are how they’ve “always” been, and sun wanting to just get on with it all without putting in any of the emotional work to reconcile with his team, nothing is getting done.
I have my own version of events that goes down after that because before the dawn is my playground that I can do whatever I want with, but basically what needs to happen is that neptune needs to basically get a life outside of his team. And honestly the reinitiation was the perfect way of doing that. I have him bond with team BYRN(especially Rae, wink wink nudge at my followers who’ve seen me talk about her before). And being around new people helps boost his self-confidence, and then he’s ready for a romantic relationship with sun.
Sun though? Just needs someone to put him in his place and wake him the fuck up. And blake did give this to him, at the start of before the dawn he’s leaps and bounds better than he was in volume 4. But there’s still more work he needs to put in. He needs to actually commit to his team, so btd is about that.
Basically, sun fucks up, and both of them need to put in the effort to make their relationship work. Mostly though, it’s about the pining. You cannot even begin to imagine the pining. Surprisingly I didn’t tallk about it much during these several paragraphs, but that’s because it can really be summed up in one sentence llksdjfdlksfj. Also as a subset of that, JEALOUS NEPTUNE good god

Random headcanon
Buddy...... buddy. You have no idea. There is one in particular that i’ll tallk about though: him and pyrrha used to be friends at Sanctum.
Not best friends. Not even close friends. But they were the only friend the other had. They were the loners that sat at the same lunch table and did group projects together, but didn’t hang out or know each other that well. But they were in this situation for opposite reasons. With pyrrha, it’s the same as when she’s at beacon: everyone sees pyrrha nikos the champion fighter, the celebrity, someone they shouldn’t talk to, or get to know. She was isolated from everyone. With neptune.... well, he canonically has “about the presence of a chair.” And one of my biggest headcanons for him is that before he met the rest of team sssn, he didn’t put effort into trying to look “cool,” he was just a nerd. So yeah, no one really noticed him either.
So him and pyrrha only really had each other, and even then it wasn’t that deep of a friendship. They were both academic, though; like, invested in their studies and stuff, so I think that commonality did make them more comfortable with each other. And maybe near their graduation, pyrrha invited neptune to study with her, but then they went off to different academies and never got any closer than that. Maybe neptune started crushing on pyrrha, but again nothing would have come of it and he would’ve just tried to hide it.
Actually, now that I think about it, I bet they danced with each other at school dances, very awkwardly of course. Pyrrha would ask him once the dance had started and they had been standing there a while bc he was the only one she was comfortable with. Hmmmm actually writing this made me even more invested in these two than I was ten minutes ago. Welp. And they’re not a ship for me, but brotp doesn’t really fit either, I just think they were really important to each other at that point in their lives.

Ok so this is complicated. I guess my unpopular opinion is “he actually has the possibility to have so much fucking depth if the writers could just SEE it” *loses my mind*

Hello half valid anon here (i like my nickname 😂). I got through all your fics and they were all great. Right now im just reading a lot of poi fanfics and watch fanvids cause i can't accept that the series is over 😂 --- i know what you mean about fics affecting you negatively. I had this with 13rw (the Show and some fics) everything was so dark and hopeless that i had to stop watching it. I also love to seek out fics where someone is hurt so i can feel my pain through the characters (1)
But i try to read only fics with lots of comfort so it kinda feels like i get comforted as well (dont know if that makes sense). If it makes you uncomfortable or if its unhealthy for you to write about this i completely understand and i dont mean to come of as pushing you to write. I just hope whatever you do will be the right decision for you! As for you feeling suicidal im sorry to hear that. Let me know if there is ever anything i can do to help! I wish i could say sth more comforting but Im not super good with words :( i just hope you have people in your life that support you! 💛
maybe root will grow on you too? Or maybe you can skip her scenes and enjoy John, Harold and most importanly Bear! 😂 Yeah Shaw definately looks really good. She is a bit like Reese minus the caring. At first it seems she doesnt care about anything at all but thats not exactly the Case. There was an episode with Shaw and a little girl (3x5) and i really loved it (have you seen that one?).
I really think Shaw would grow on you (especially since in the beginning she does a lot with John) but then again a lot of her later scenes include Root so im not sure. Yes i love that there were never any romantic undertones with her and John!!

as for John being good with people: YES!! he is always so compassionate and such a great listener as well. I especially like him with children. Also regarding children we did we never got to see a John Taylor scene after Carters death? I needed that!

Oh boi 13rw is so cursed, can't believe I watched all of the 1st season 😬 I remember being afraid of the suicide scene making me uncomfortable but it was so cringe, unrealistic and just bad that I wasn't even that uncomfortable, I cringed when she cut her arms but that's it.
Yeah big mood I project a lot on comfort fics as well. For suicide fics, I think it also depends on how the fics adress the subject. It's something that is complicated to write. If I read a suicide fic with no recovery I'm gonna project but feel like shit. But with recovery, I can project into the recovery as well so it's better ! I read a really good ace attorney fic showing Miles recovering after a suicide attempt, it was thoughtful and didn't fall into the pitfalls of magical super fast recovery/love heals everything, and some lines stuck with me, it was really good and comforting. But yeah if it's just a suicide/suicide attempt then I don't think it's good for me (but sometimes I still read it bc I'm a Dumb Bitch).

I have to figure out if writing about suicide is positive or negative for me 🤔 I mean I'm not portraying John's suicidal crisis as a positive thing, and he reaches out to Harold, and considers he might get better so I don't think it's bad for me ? It was in a way its own character and its forced abandonment/destruction really hit me (fucked me up when they broke that glass board). It says something that it's one of the few things I remember from S3 along with Carter's death and 4C. I loved it a lot, it was a cornerstone of the show. It was a safe place, a home for Harold and John (and Bear !). I love when they're together in there, I love this cracked glass board, this yellow stained glass in the windows !!! (at least I assume it's stained glass ?), these lights, Bear's cushion, the whole cozy/safe/isolated feelings, just absolutely everything. And yeah later they have the subway, idk when it's introduced I don't remember if it's early enough for me to have watched it. And maybe it's nice, I can't judge rn. But it's like trying to give me a new MC after a MCD, make him as nice as you want I'll be clutching the previous MC until I die. Gkfkfkff I went overboard and off topic but I just love the library ok

Today was surprisingly empty, he got a day off today, he didn’t really know what to do or where to go, he was a bit lost today, he didn’t really have any friends to hang out since the other pillars were on their personal missions and so today he was alone.
He thought of it for a while and he wanted to make a visit to a usual village he oftenly goes to in his days off,
Why that village ? The scenery of the village, it has the correct spot for one of the best places to cloud gaze,
Shocker? Muichiro likes to cloud gaze, he might be an air head but he really enjoyed the clouds, maybe it’s because it’s also air, no one really knows. But he thinks it’s relaxing and calming, even if he doesn’t really pay attention much to the clouds and just day dreams and be the air head he is, but he truly does enjoy it,
His exact spot was under a tree, surrounded by a field of variety of flowers so it smells nice and the breeze there is nice aswell,
It was Sakura season so it was lucky of him to have a day off, today. The tree he would usually lay under was actually a Sakura tree, and it added another calm factor by itself,
The boy went to his usual spot to calm his mind, but today he was met with a rather unfamiliar face, a girl was currently laying down under the tree on his spot, muichiro guesses she was also cloud gazing, seeing that her gaze was up to the clouds,
She had (h/c) hair and (s/c) colored skin and a beautiful (f/c) kimono, her hair was let loose and flowed like the direction of the wind,
The boys heart beat rapidly suddenly, he didn’t know what was going on, his face felt warm, ‘am I sick today?’ The boy asked himself,
The girl noticed a presence and looked around till she found muichiro standing around the fields,
“Oh, I didn’t see you there “ the girl said giving a warm smile.
“Who are you?” Muichiro straightforwardly asked.
Muichiro May come off cold for first impressions but honestly he didn’t mean to.
“I’m s/o, who are you?” She said, the warm smile still sticked to her face.
“I’m the mist pillar” muichiro said more like he squeaked but his voice sounded very monotone for a boy his age , he didn’t want to talk much today so he went her way and just sat next to her under the tree and cloud gaze.
“Hey you didn’t ask my question mist pillar” s/o pouted,
“Muichiro” the boy said sounding dead, and didn’t want to be bothered
S/o was a bit confused upon his actions, what was a mist pillar doing around here?,’ s/o thought. And she didn’t really get the hint that he wanted to cloud gaze,
“Do you like cloud gazing ?” S/o tried to engage in a conversation to the air head of a boy, he hummed a response, indicating a ‘yes’
“ I didn’t know pillars would like cloud gazing like me too!” S/o said and gave out an even bigger smile, muichiro thought it was a bit weird to see girls so hyper and optimistic, it gave him a warm feeling,
“Did you see that cloud it looked like a snake” s/o said and pointed to one of the clouds, she was very energetic,
“No that’s a tree branch what are you taking about” the boy squeeked because he was shy, his voice was now having a little Vietnam war with himself because he was shy but yet he wanted to speak, like his usual self, dead monotone,
But, Today muichiro was surprisingly not getting any distractions and he kept his attention to s/o, it was a weird feeling, his heart was beating very rapidly, and his face felt very warm and he was comfortable with a stranger, that’s a bit new to muichiro,
It was a fun little argument about snakes and tree branches, they both fought back and forth and had a good laugh about it, and muichiro had to admit he hadn’t smiled a lot since forever,he was still shy but her presence next to him made him feel safe, and comfortable, he hadn’t felt like this in ages,
was this love at first sight ? Muichiro kept asking himself what’s going on, he didn’t feel like himself but then again he also felt a bit like himself, doesn’t make sense ? Maybe it’s because muichiro also thought he wasn’t making a lot of sense today aswell,
S/o requested on the two meeting again whenever he had free time
, frequent meet ups occurred in where they just totally spill out all their random thoughts and cloud gazed to the sky, they would also sometimes play in the fields, or maybe just walk through the fields, and look at all the flowers and sakura trees there, and sometimes they hold hands, even if it was an accident brush, it ended up to holding hands
It had been going on for a few months, he would always try to finish his missions as quick as possible just to meet s/o and talk with her, and cloud gaze like usual,
since they both were close s/o would usually give a big fat teddy hug when the two meet up, to cherish the moment, s/o was happy that they both could meet up at least even if it wasn’t often she was still grateful that muichiro could come healthy and safe
The more he thought of her and her actions the more adrenaline pumped through him, it was unusual for the boy to do these but, it happened and that’s all that matters.

it depends on how they’re written tbh, i often find posts that compare 2 issues/tragedies/movements... questionable. for example if you have to be like “you care about blm but you don’t care about this” i’m automatically wary. of course not all comparisons are bad, like if you point out how we as white people only care about x issue when it’s about white people but not when it concerns poc, that’s totally valid. anyway generally i’ll read the post (unless it’s super long and i don’t have the brain for it atm) and if i agree with it or think it’s good information to pass around, i’ll rb it regardless (it can become guilt-trippy pretty easily but i get the need to raise awereness)
