I want to pick flowers,
Run in the rain.
I want to take hot showers,
Ride on the train.
I want to pet a cat,
Burn in the summer sun.
I want to lie flat,
And have all the fun.
I want to eat raspberries,
Have a small crush.
I want to read all the stories,
Feel the adrenaline rush.
I want to be carefree,
Draw and sing.
I want to enjoy the sea,
And be my own king.

Never Use A Sharpie
.
My intentions are written
On this anguished face
Tried to rub them off
Blur the ink
Cover up the words
Smear the letters
Anything, everything
So you don't know
Don't know how
How I really
Really feel
It's a weakness
A vulnerability
Puts me on the edge
Of an emotional cliff
Ready to fall
And I may care a lot about you
But I don't care much for heights

We were just kids when this started
The chaos of adolescence
But somewhere along the line
You began to despise my presence
And I loved you, I still do
I always will
Be you friend or foe
I will die on your hill
But please don't be the one
Who ends my life
Don't be the one
To take the knife

There's a whirlwind of things inside me
Of which you don't know
Never saw
Because I didn't let you see

my daughter gets older
she learns about my self removal
she learns about my guilt
Taking my daughter to my laser hair removal appt
so she doesn't feel
so she doesn't get older
so she doesn't care about it when Taking laser self removal
my daughter gets older
she learns about hair
she learns she doesn't care about my guilt
she learns she doesn't care about my self removal
and so my daughter gets older
Taking my daughter to my laser hair removal appt

the earth wrote stories of you.
your hand in mine, our lips together, my hands on your waist, sliding down your thighs in reverent awe, breath passing between us full of love and lust and hope and forever.
you were written for me, and i'll hold you tightly in gratitude.
