good art
sets off downward
unstructured and
obsessive
wishes to
destroy
empower
celebrate ugliness
good art
hints at obfuscation, lies,
resentment
makes you feel weird
clarifies the
divine right to
whining,
coping, seething
good art
confuses the mind
spiral

spiral
faster
good art is a scam
a drug metaphor
essential
momentum
good art
a terrible duty
join or burn

weeks ago, i told you this was happening
this utterly outrageous love for you
I've never seen anything like it.
This growing feral tip of the spear.
This is you?
Christ, you're pornographic
We will be a monumental moment in time
yet another war being waged
we'll go in violation of the law. threaten pastors
to be sharing each other
We could strip and become churches
remove the scripts
you could pray in me

Forging, Reforging // I slept two nights without breathing. My body heat slipped right off the sheets. On Saturday I pulled the staples out with pliers and moved the furniture so I could shove you into the corners where dust used to be. I’ll wash everything out; we’ll leak down the walls. Maybe when we come home again I can finally cut the basting stitches loose.
