‘I am the one who tears open your ribs for the sake of becoming less of me & more of you / I am the one who cradles the heart inside / tell me to close you up again / I will close you up from the inside’

Such is the nature of the human mind, that it always lays hold on every mind that approaches it; and as it is wonderfully fortified by an unanimity of sentiments, so is it shocked and disturbed by any contrariety.

I want to fall in love again;
I wish to fall in love with life again, the little things, the childish things. No longer does the moon entice me, nor do the purrs of my cat enlighten me. The sun's morning rays are just unable to brighten my days anymore.
I've never felt more emptier in all of my life than how I feel these days. Almost like a vessel left to rot away as a forlorn being; unloved and incapable of loving.

haha, I have six followers, yet my post of this: has 57 reblogs, 353, likes, and 6 comments. may not seem a lot to you, but I'm just a silly nobody who had a disproportionate amount of things going on.

Whether we write from imagination or from our own personal experience, or that of someone else, there is always a story behind each poem, each word, each paragraph. There are people veiled between the lines, characters hiding behind each letter, a feeling playing like a musical score behind every piece a poet writes.
A piece I wrote ages ago back in 2017, that I redid. Music by The Ambientalist.

All the materials of thinking are derived either from our outward or inward sentiment ... all our ideas or more feeble perceptions are copies of our impressions or more lively ones.
