Concept designs for another TMNT iteration me and @squarefriend made I did as a warm up! Probably not going to do much with these guys, but they’re fun!!!!

Species and character notes under the cut!

Leonardo — He/Him. Four-Eyed Turtle. He’s the oldest but doesn’t really act like it. He’s very aloof and distant from his family, but will stick up for his younger siblings when they really need him. He’s a complicated guy who’s going through a lot of stuff. His favorite thing to do is preform as his Drag Persona (Venus De Milo) at The Battle Nexus— a drag club owned by famous drag queen Big Mama.

Donatello — She/Her. Indian Peacock Softshell Turtle. She somehow managed to have oldest daughter syndrome before she even realized she’s a girl. Homegirl’s stressed the heck out trying to keep her younger brothers from doing anything to stupid and also keep Leo from doing anything to stupid. She can be a bit of a stick in the mud because of that, and isn’t really great at communicating her feelings. Also she’s got a ‘crop top’ plastron because I love it when people give their soft shell turtles that it’s genius.

Michelangelo — He/Him. Reeves Turtle. Was the youngest for 13 years and still tries to use that against his older siblings. He’s just looking for a good time away from all the family drama and dysfunction. He’s a frequent partier and ends up with some issues later in life because of that.

Timothy Raphael — He/Him. Newly a Spotted Pond Turtle. Yeah so Raph got mutated. He was adopted into the family when he was 11, following the whole mutation incident. He used to be one of the child soldiers of the foot clan (long story) and actually got to being close friends with Donnie before the whole mutation thing happened. He’s still trying to work through the identity issues that came with all of that, and all the new ones that come along with this new dynamic.

Besties..do you think that Neil Gaiman knows the impact and importance of his work? The Green Brothers, do you guys think they know? James Dashner?? Uncle Rick?? FUCK.

Like i genuinely would not have made it past middle school without the Maze Runner series. The complexity of the characters was my gateway to millions of other great series, and while the books aren’t my favorite now as a 20 year old, I appreciate everything they did for me in terms of learning to read novels and mapping out in-depth plots.

I wouldn’t have picked my major or found myself able to go through long auto-immune treatments without Hank and John Green..hell I probably wouldn’t have passed my high school classes without them either. Would I have picked the major I did without Crash Course US History.. ?probably not..and gosh, did every single one of their books ruined my life? yep.. (I literally clutched my cluttered TFIOS copy everywhere I went for like 2 years😭). I just want to sit down and talk to them and just even try to understand why they think the way they do.. just gain any wisdom from them.. I have so so so so so much to learn..

and Rick, I genuinely wouldn’t have found understanding for my disabilities without his writings.. I had never seen a main character who also had ADHD/Dyslexia until I met Percy. Not to mention that Will and Nico were the very first gay characters I had been exposed to, and little 10 y/o me had no idea the importance of that for later on.. (Though I blame him for my on going greek mythology phase..not cool uncle rick.. not cool..also I blame him for the creation of one of the best musicals ever ok ok). This man literally shaped part of my life for the better. I have a signed copy of PJO and its my prized possession and I wish that was a joke.

and Neil, literally where do I start? This man’s writings were introduced to me my freshman year of high school and were one of the only things that kept me alive until now. I graduate COLLEGE next year and I genuinely do not know if I would be here if I didn’t have American Gods, Good Omens, and The Sandman.. and who knew that it was going to be Crowley.. of all the fucking characters in the world - that gave me the courage to come out to my friends. (Honestly, it only got worse after David took the role, I’m annoying about it now.. I love that man so much but also Michael <3). Do you guys know the hoops I would jump through just to have a conversation with him?? To thank him for literally everything his work has done for me?? AHHH.

Authors are truly some of the most amazing people. If they can have an impact on such a small, inconsequential life such as mine, just imagine what their writings did and do for others who are bound for such great things. It makes me so excited. Fuck, I cannot wait for my generation to grow up.

Its 6 am and I just got out of exam week (so I haven’t slept for like actually 2 weeks so I don’t know if any of this made sense but take a sip of water if you agree). Goodnight✨.

My rules for when you're requesting!!

So first of all, here are all the characters I write for

♡- here we go! So when requesting you can be as detailed or not detailed as you want. It's fine with me!

♡- I refuse to write smut. If I get a smut request I simply won't do it at all.

♡- If I don't write your request immediately please don't be upset. I'm not a busy person but sometimes I get really demotivated and I'm sorry about that. Also keep in mind I'm in school so yeah.

♡- I mainly write fluff sooo if you want something a little sad I can try and do that but if it's too angsty I won't write it(or maybe I might?)

♡- I will try my hardest to have the characters be in character, if they aren't please forgive me.

Reading The Dark Prophecy: Chapter 9 (SPOILERS)

"(She loves those dramatic entrances. She is such and anime-character wannabe.)" You know what? I bet Britomartis got her love of dramatic entrances from being around Artemis.

"instead he produced a tin of breath mints" I think his belt also responds to his emotions. Whenever he's stressed or scared, especially in potentially dangerous situations, the belt always gives him breath mints like it's panicking just as much as he is.

"You must be minor." You're one to talk, Calypso. Even when you were a god, you were only the goddess of one little island in the middle of nowhere. "And he's not my rescuer . . . Although he is short and scruffy." She needs to show more appreciation to the person who rescued her from eternal imprisonment.

"The goddess gave me that coquettish smile that I hated so much" COQUETTISH (adj.): behaving in such a way as to suggest a playful sexual attraction; flirtatious Britomartis, that is your superior's brother!

"A bear trap snapped shut, ripping through stuffing and fabric like an upholstery sharknado." WTF "'Well, isn't this nice?' 'No,' the three of us chorused." I'm loving this. "Bouncing Betty" LOL that nickname's gonna stick.

"You convinced me to do that once" I don't think Apollo is going to have to swallow madness to go insane. He already is.

"Oh, the injustice! . . . I would never again send a poor mortal on a quest. Unless it was really important. And unless I was sure the mortal could handle it. And unless I was pressed for time... or I just really didn't feel like doing it myself." Did I just witness character development and character undevelopment in a single paragraph?

"he plans to rechristen Indianapolis." I was like, What are they naming? A baby? An exotic pet? A building? No, silly! They're renaming the whole city! :D

"Death by explosion was starting to sound like a kinder fate than Briotmartis's quest." He's such a drama king.

"Don't fail me, mortals!" Okay, that was a personal insult.

"a few treble hooks snagged in the carpet." Does she have trouble walking ever? Like, if she's walking over carpet or close to curtains and her dress gets snagged... No, of course not, she's a goddess. She only leaves the hooks behind for effect.

First ship: I think it was Killua x Gon? Not anymore lol

Last song/album: Thoroughfare from Preacher's Daughter by Ethel Cain. I was listening to the entire album yesterday, by each song consecutively again. Just cuz I love her storytelling, vocalizations, & especially, her musicality. Also she's an Autist with Bisexuality, so... Twinsies~!

Last movie: Mulan. I keep tearing up/crying. My fave Disney movie.

Currently reading: The Summer Hikaru Died (Hikaru ga Shinda Natsu). I am obsessed with this Manga! My 1st Manga experience ever, the best introduction I hadn't thought I was asking for! Like, what kind of Horror is this? What kind of Love is this? Does it look like Anime? Does it look like Realism? Does it make me giddy? Does it make me even more fucking depressed than I already am? Is it so fucked up? It is an enthralling combination of all of these elements to make this singular Art & more! Yoshiki & Hikaru is the Story; surrealistically weird, beautifully raw, & hauntingly wistful is what I can describe them rn.

Currently watching: The Broski Report. It's a Comedic/Informative Podcast-y YouTube Series by Brittany Broski (Kombucha Girl). It's more apt to "listen" to it on Spotify/Apple. But I want to watch it on YouTube just cuz I want to see what she's presenting in her studio & her facial expressions . Makes me feel more "connected", yknow? Probably just an Autism thing lol

Currently consuming: Little Square Butterscotch & Brownie Cakes dipped in Milk. Not really into sweets, but whateves.

Currently craving: Peace. My Depression has really been kicking my ass this week. I wish I can just believe I can handle it & just keep moving.

I was sleep deprived from seeing Gerard Way in a cheerleader uniform and up from 6am, hyper nothing but my thoughts at work, *gestures* this.

I thought of Finnick and then "yeah, he counts as a 'Man'" and it became the following.

There is no order other than how they came into my head, from the fandoms The Hunger Games, Heroes of Olympus, and The Maze Runner

THG Cato - Male : (but I do like him in other things, softens the choice a little)

THG Peeta - Boy : Look at him for reasoning. but with affection.

HoO Jason - Guy : Honestly I can't see any of the HoO boys as 'Men'

HoO Octavian - Male : Example of a true derogatory 'Male' in this franchise.

HoO Leo - Baby(boy) : Need I elaborate? Have you ever felt otherwise?

Honestly don't remember a lot from THG but the guy in Rue's district? Man (appreciative)

THG Gale - Guy : Could say 'Man' or 'Male' depends on if you like him really, I gave benefit this to ranking, but still as 'derogatory')

HoO Nico - Baby(boy) : Even more accurate, not in ranking but too true. a 'Poor little meow meow' Affectionate, very baby. the Seven and Will will agree.

HoO Frank - Boy : A good boy, also a Guy but i think 'boy' rounds out good for him.

TMR Thomas - Guy : Most Dylan O'brien characters are Boy to Baby yet still Guy? he has the spectrum. Thomas is a good GuyBoy <- discuss further

TMR Gally - Guy : I kinda hated him but he's not bad enough to be 'Male' (if I recall)

TMR Alby - Boy : Good boy, tender, stressed, a little bit baby. My memory fails me? he was nice.

TMR Minho - Guy : Also bit of a boy, would like to be called 'Honey'. I miss him.

TMR Newt - Baby : Baby boy. baby face. Am i at all biased? I threw my book on the floor at That point.

Real World My actual crush: Baby boy, with biased adoration, honestly probably just a Guy but his looks get it.
