To me the 'stay with me' kiss in MJ will always be superior to the first 2 kisses. They're all special in their own way, but I always feel like that MJ kiss was beyond compare.
And the thing is, it's not even a romantic or sexual kiss. It's pure desperation poured from Katniss' lips, urging this boy on the verge of insanity to remember, and the fact that he comes back and remembers just from the feel of her lips is insane. I mean she practically brings him back to life, because no other time before that does Peeta come back to reality on command, he either has to be sedated or hit unconscious to stop him from inflicting violence, and only comes back after a good while.
When I tell you that damned kiss drives me insane.

Currently thinking about "I just want them to pay for what they did to that little girl". Thinking about how Peeta wasn't just talking about Rue but about every child that had been killed by the Capitol's bloodlust. Maysie, Thresh, Cato and Clove. And every child who had their life permanently scarred with their time in the arena hanging over them. Johanna, Finnick, Mags, Annie, Haymitch. And even if Peeta didn't know it, Katniss and himself as well.

Of all the unknowns in the story, the one that really plagues me is Peeta's eyebrow situation. Do they grow back? Are the follicles permanently damaged?
Why couldn't Suzanne include a line confirming it. Just one little tidbit. Something like
"Peeta and I grow back together (and so do his eyebrows)."
or
"The dancing girl with the dark hair and blue eyes. The boy with blond curls and gray eyes and eyebrows that look just like his father's do right now, currently, because they grew back,"
or
"Peeta says it will be okay. We have each other. And the book. And fully grown eyebrows."
Instead I will be intermittently assaulted by intrusive thoughts/images of an eyebrowless Peeta for the rest of my life. I hope Suzanne knows what she's done

Y'all the streaming of the three hours hunger games in the books is so goddamn similar to our movies. In the book, Katniss, Peeta and Ceasar watch the three hours version of the hunger games in an interview and Katniss says that it's the first time the Capitol is showing a different version of the hunger games... A love story. The Capitol audience ooh and ah at them curling up together. Even Haymitch only sends them food when they act romantic. In the movies, it's the exact same thing, we made teams ffs! Team Gale or Team Peeta, take your pick! So many people forgot about the actual brutality of the games and for years, the first thing they asked hunger games fans was who they would pick for Katniss' love interest.
We saw them kissing in the arena and forgot they were in a cave, fighting infections and starving, all the while hiding from a person that wants to kill them both.
I love Suzzane Collins for this!!!

I know it's cute to think about Katniss craving while pregnant with cakes and bread that her baker husband can make, BUT
Pregnancy craving are not easy to achieve. Why she'll want cinnamon rolls that she can eat every day? She wants to eat foods she can't eat all the time. She stops hunting because of swollen feet and nausea and then starts to crave everything that comes from the forest.
Katniss turn to Peeta and say "Hunt me a rabbit."
"Katniss, how am I supposed to hunt a rabbit?" Peeta asks in disbelief.
"I want rabbit! Did you forget that I'm pregnant?" she replies and then continues. "It's for your daughter!" Rubbing her hands on her belly, with a satisfied smile. She knows he'll have to do for her.
So Peeta does. Obviously he can't. So he pays to some boy who usually go hunts in the forest and makes rabbit stew for his wife.
or Katniss asks for wild strawberries and Peeta brings her some from the market, because he don't know where to find it in the forest.
She eats one of them and her eyes fill with tears. That wasn't what she wanted. and believe me, she knows the difference very well. Peeta feels guilty and apologizes to her, but she will only really forgive him when he brings the wild strawberries for her.
He spends the whole afternoon in the forest and returns home with just a few small berries. He's sure she'll hate it, but he's never seen her so happy in his life.
"They're the best strawberries I've ever had." she says and he sighs in relief.
Two years later, when Katniss becomes pregnant with the boy Peeta says to her "I hope you crave for cheese buns this time."
