Headcanon for the Batkids, after watching Star Wars:
Duke, holding a yellow lightsaber: All the poetry you waxed about friendship and loyalty, were all lies, weren’t they?
Steph, holding a purple lightsaber: In this case yes; Jason promised he’d cook for me if we win.
Damian, holding a green lightsaber: When we win.
Dick, holding a blue lightsaber: I trusted you! How could you side with him?
Damian: It was a logical decision to side with the winning team.
Jason, holding a red lightsaber: See, the kid gets it.
Tim, holding a black lightsaber: You forgot one thing.
Jason: Which is?
Tim: Cass is on our side.
Cass appears with a white lightsaber:
Bonus:
Luke: I get you’re mad Bruce, really, I do.
Luke: I didn’t even realize the little tyke Tim was tricking me when he asked me to help him make the lasers he used for the lightsabers, I thought it was for a W.E. project.
Bruce: That’s fair Tim’s lies can be very convincing at times.
Bruce: I can’t even scold them because they had adult permission.
Bruce turns to Kate: You consented to this?
Kate: I’m not gonna lie, I just wanted to see them duke it out.
Bruce: *sighs in Tired Dad TM*

If you want to could we have a scenario with the cafe tag role reversal au? Maybe readers first time going to the cafe and being met with Clyde and Saber as like a little callback to the first Cafe tag post?
The pet cafe's opening week. Lines spread down the block with the lure of being catered to by an adorable and friendly cast of hybrids joined by a special guest to kick off the launch. Saber was well known in the modeling industry for his looks and charm. Being a high class breed and a hybrid of one of the most common house pets were a clear boost to his popularity. It was no surprise the cafe reached out for his aid which was an obvious success. He had been everyone's first choice for a host, and booked the entire duration of the collab. All this attention was just too much for the poor feline.
"Hello, I'm here for my appointment with Clyde."
Saber's claws leave divots in the table. The hostess manning the front desk offers the customer a warm smile as they lead them to their table, depositing their umbrella in the bin beside the desk. A chipper bee that the customer has to speed walk to keep up with and leaves them a honey flavored sucker as they leave to get their coworker from the back. The poor unaware rabbit ducks behind the coffee table as the doors to the break room fly open.
"Clyde! Your twelve o'clock is here!"
Clyde's pale face drains of color as a menu is shoved in his arms. "What?! I thought you were joking about that...."
"I was at first, but then a real request came in like five minutes later." Robbie pushes their coworker towards the door." Well, don't keep your first waiting. Go, go, go!'
Clyde fits his hair as he's pushed into the dining area. He continues to smooth his curly locks, and tries to make himself look as presentable as possible for his first master of the day. He's never been called on before. He's used to taking meal orders for the guests waiting for more popular pets like that feline. Passing the table were Saber sat crowded by an entire group of people, Clyde feels a chill run down his back as his temporary partner shoots him an icy glare. Creepy. Saber's never been nice to him, but he's never done that before. He could worry about that later. Focus.
"Table six... table six.. Ta- Ah! Here we go. I apologize for the wait, master. Welcome to the cafe, can I get you something to drink to start you off?"
"I'll need a moment to decide. Can you sit next to me until then?"
"Certainly!" Clyde takes a seat on the edge of the booth. It was easier said than done. He couldn't figure out why someone had chosen him, especially a cute human like them if a side view was anything to go off of. Were they using him for something? Maybe they only requested him so they could watch Saber without the wait. Why was he dumping such accusations on a stranger? Why did they feel right?...
"I'll just take a water for now, and sip of whatever you want."
"....Pardon?" Did he hear them right?
The guest looks embarrassed. "I'm sorry, I'd use a separate straw of course, but I thought it would be okay since I saw others doing it and I didn't want you to be left out."
His ears had been tugged on a lot throughout the years - but he heard them loud and clear. They... actually wanted him. Was that him overthinking again? Clyde prayed not. Someone was asking about him. Someone was looking at him. He had been noticed.
The guest looks under the table as their silverware slides into their lap. "Are you alright?"
Clyde holds down his leg, face as red as the tie around his neck. "Y-yes, just- a bit excited. I'll go get those drinks for us."
In the split second it takes for Clyde to hop away from the table, a few face takes his spot. The customer had taken to watching the falling rain outside the window so they remain oblivious to his presence. The slippery feline rubs up against the guest's forearm much to their confusion. They put on their friendliest uncomfortable smile and pull their arm away, waving with a limp wrist.
"Um... Hello"
"Hi there." Saber purrs, switching one leg over the other as his tail falls onto their thigh. "Waiting for someone?"
"Yeah actually, I think his name is Clyde. I thought he was super cute, so I wanted to meet him."
Saber rolls his eyes, picking up the pieces of his friendly facade as he leans on their shoulder. "Awww, don't be like that. I'm sure we could have more fun together than you could with him."
"Really, I'm not interested."
Saber, ever the prideful, refuses to back down. He scoots closer, heavy rain pelting his ears. Thunder claps drilling his sensitive ears with tremendous boom that crumbles his ego and his body to the floor. He covers his ears with his hands and hisses, plugging the holes with his fingers as if trying to make himself go deaf. Hands pulling him away, and cushioning his head with their chest prevents him from doing just that. The guest strokes his head and hushes him as the thunder died out.
"There, there. You're alright." They help him back to the chair and check to make sure he didn't hurt himself. Their hands are so soft. They fade from contact as the guest looks over his shoulder. "Clyde's back. You going to be okay?"
Saber, admitting defeat for now returns to his original table. Clyde bites the flesh of his cheek to keep his smile from spreading too far.
"Master, I'm back. I hope you enjoy milkshakes?"
"Sounds good." The guest scoots back over to their side of the booth, petting the rabbit's hair much to his surprise. Through his salt and pepper locks, they notice a single black dot behind one of his ears. "You don't have to call me master if you don't want to. Y/n is just fine, but if we're handing out nicknames you mind if I call you Spot?"
Spot's leg starts to bounce again. Please let them become a regular.

Okay, so, trying to get into this less refined thing.
As I said before, I actually have an outline for how the Butterfly Effect AU is supposed to go past the point I couldn't keep writing. If y'all don't mind spoilers, I'd be interested in your thoughts.
(But I'm putting it behind a cut for those who don't want spoilers.)
By the time his parents and brother and cousin get close enough to get Huaisang's attention, both Papa Nie and Mingjue are suffering pretty horrible nosebleeds, maybe even bleeding from the eyes too, and Linsong and Zonghui are not doing much better.
Understandably, since this is the day Mingjue died in the old timeline, the blood only makes Huaisang panic more, which makes the shockwaves worse.
Mingjue has no idea how to reassure him, just holding on to him in the hopes that will help somehow.
Suddenly he feels the cold shock of ghostly hands reaching into his body, something that had never happened before since Huaisang had always been partially solid.
While he's still stunned, he can feel something like layers and layers of grime being burned off his core as Huaisang clutches it. As the shockwaves die down, he finds himself feeling... better. A lot better. Even though he was nowhere near the qi deviation he'd experienced in the old timeline, the resentment was still starting to accumulate, and now it's just gone.
Huaisang seems to be just as surprised that whatever he did worked, at least as a temporary fix.
He starts to reach for their dad to do the same to him, but then he... flickers a little bit, like a struggling candle flame.
Oh. Shit. Papa Nie immediately realizes that they are now very short on time and orders everyone else to go get Huaisang's mama, the other siblings/extended family members, and every healer and strong cultivator they have, because they can't hold out hope that Huaisang will hang on long enough for Lan Qiren and Wen Ruohan to arrive. They have to execute the saber preservation plan now and pray it doesn't destroy him for good.
It takes the entire rest of the day and almost all the way through the night to finish the ritual, and by the time it's done, Huaisang is more like a smoke wisp than a glow. Pretty much all of his family is in tears, but he's... smiling.
It worked. Generations of Nies will be able to use the pear tree as a place to cleanse their sabers when they start getting too demanding, and the pears to cleanse themselves.
His brother's alive. His parents are alive. His cousins are alive. He has a sister now. The war never started. He has no more regrets.
Realizing that they really are going to lose him now, Mingjue makes him promise he'll come back somehow, so that they can eventually reincarnate as brothers again.
And then he's gone.
Three months later, Mingjue turns thirty and takes on the sect leader role, his father being the first Nie leader ever to be able to peacefully retire.
Six years after that, a circus caravan is passing through, and is invited to perform for the locals in the courtyard of the Unclean Realms. Nie Xunyao is the first to notice something strange, and immediately goes to get Mingjue.
There's a small boy among the performers, caring for the trained bird flock with surprising ease. He's happy and healthy and greets Nie-zongzhu with a huge grin and an offer to hold one of the colorful parrotlets.
He has bright green eyes and a very familiar face.

Princess Presto - Divine Retribution
Tumblr media
Cue the lights. Cue the thunder. Strike true and tear the sky asunder! Second Style, Divine Retribution, at your service.
Not even a year ago, Chaos disrupted the young Princess Pea’s life by kidnapping her, and then possessing her, forcing her to fight against her beloved father and friends, whom she considers a second family. Though the others assured her that it wasn’t her fault, Princess Pea couldn’t shake away that fear. What if they hated her? What if they were afraid of her, not wanting to call upon her powers again? Such troublesome thoughts were always at the back of her mind, even during training, which resulted in both a weakening of her powers and a cloud of doubt settling over her mind.
An excursion in Major Land would help Princess Pea come to terms with that fateful battle and her inner fears, which culminated in not only a new resolve, but also a new form that blazes with dignity, inner strength and fearlessness. In a show of growth, the swords saved from that fateful battle—Fatal Rose and Divine Lightning—were added to her growing arsenal of weapons, with Divine Lightning being the weapon of choice for her Second Style. With Jeremiah’s words in her heart—what the enemy used for evil, the Holy One has used it for good—she takes to the battlefield, unwavering in her convictions, and unflinching in the face of danger.
White and gold lightning tears the heavens asunder, saving the innocent, smiting the wicked, and leaving all witnesses in awe of its awesome might.
…As you can tell from that official intro, I’ve been playing too much HI3rd. XD
After weeks of promising, here’s Princess Presto in all her glory! I loved drawing this picture, and a lot of my coworkers (who are super awesome and give me a lot of art supplies while I’m at work—and I do mean A LOT XD) loved the initial design I came up with. A lot of them said she was kinda scaring them…and considering that the Evil Readers are absolutely terrified when they see her activate this, that actually was the goal I was going for!
The changes really came about when I colored it, though. I know that in the post explaining Second Styles, I initially put down that her suit was going to be white, silver and gold, but I figured that would be boring, and decided to combine some colors, going for a rustic gold instead, and adding a few browns into her costume. The end result looked pretty sweet, and kinda gives her a medieval warrior princess look—which is just the look I was searching for! Also just realized that part of her outfit was inspired by Saber, which kinda makes sense—before and after this story, she makes a name for herself as a powerful magical princess. And her boots, which I kinda threw together at the last minute, were inspired by Sailor Moon. Had to throw a reference to one of my favorite magical girl anime of all time. ^^
My favorite part of her design was her hair, which I admit, I spent way, WAY too much time on, lol XD The placement of the streaks was a bit of a doozy, but it turned out well! Designing Divine Lightning was a bit of a challenge because I didn’t want it to look too cartoony, or a Keyblade knockoff, lol!
And yes, you did read that right; Fatal Rose, which is her other sword that she wielded under the Evil Reader’s possession, is added to her arsenal, too, though it’s not part of her Second Style. I have plans for that sword that’ll be revealed in the following chapters of Darkness Rewrite…which will be coming up in my notes following this post! XD
I hope you love this picture as much as I loved drawing it!

This ask game
Initially I was going to do the Peaceful Timeline, but then I thought...why not make some Gabi haters happy? This is Starscream killing Gabi in the Revenge Timeline. Part 2: Gabi’s death
"Oh, dear," The Warrior Cadets froze in fear with their bound hands when they saw a massive metal titan stepping of off his thrown and coming into light. They could all see this colorful titan grinning at them with an expression that looked so unhinged.
"It looks like you humans are so far away from home, aren't you?" Starscream taunted.
"W-What do you want with us?!" Colt stuttered, "You already have Marley! Just let us go!"
"I'm sorry. I can't do that." Starscream didn't seem apologetic, "Sure I have my control over Marley, and I have this."
The Cadets flinched when the titan pulled a long, ragged, sword from his back. It was uneven, crooked, glowing a bright purple, and they definitely felt something off about it.
"The Dark Star Saber," he explained, "Forged from the Blood of Unicron with the ability to cut mountains in two."
"Um...what exactly is Unicron?" Udo ended up asking.
"Udo, shut up!" Zofia hissed.
Starscream just looked annoyed as he put the sword back on his back. "Uncultured little insects, I swear to Primus."
"Let us go!" Gabi shouted at him, "If you don't, you'll be sorry! Our Warriors will come and-!"
Starscream started cackling in response. "Your 'Warriors' fled like cowards! They abandoned you and let Marley deal with me all by itself."
"No," Gabi gasped. Reiner...Reiner wouldn't leave them behind. Reiner wouldn't leave her behind to danger! "You lie!"
"I only speak the truth," Starscream smirked, "Those titan were fleeing on a ship and I was prepared to take them into custody, but then Megatron made an appearance. I was more than happy to put him in his place."
"Who is Megatron?" Falco asked. The child didn't like the way Starscream's grin grew wider.
"Oh right, you poor, wretched things have no idea who you've been staying with," Starscream proclaimed.
"Know what?!" Colt demanded. He didn't like being kept in suspense.
"Well Megatron is the name of what you call the 'Flying Titan'," Starscream put the word in air quotes, "But you lot know him by a different name: Matthew Hayes."
The Warrior Cadets were in stun shock. Mattew? Matthew was the Flying Titan. Starscream reveled in their devastated expressions and continued.
"I never thought I would see my former master demean himself to the status of a human, but I suppose it was too easy, considering no one thought that his behavior or even his optics were wrong!" Starscream laughed again, "By the Allspark, his optics were still red and none of you humans caught on! No wonder he got away with it so easily."
"No...," Gabi shook her head in disbelief, "No! You liar! You devil! Demon bastard!"
"Ooo, some spark in you." Starscream was amused, "But I speak the truth. I was there when your Warriors fled and I was there when Megatron dropped his cover to buy time for your Warriors to escape. He helped your Warrior run away in fear of me! Oh, it's something I can't stop myself of reveling in!"
"Matthew is not the Flying Titan!" Gabi screamed at him, "Matthew is our friend!"
"Friend?!" Starscream cackled, "I would hardly count Megatron as a friend, but tell me: what makes 'Matthew' so special to you? I highly doubt that Megatron is even capable of kindness, and you Eldians are always treated as devils yourself. But please, enlighten me."
“Don’t mock him like that! Stop lying! Matthew is good! And kind! He’s the only non-Eldian who doesn’t insult us and call us devils!”
“Oh really,” Starscream chuckled.
“He helps us grow and get stronger! He gives us food and tells us stories!” Gabi continued.
“…hm,” Starscream didn’t sound too amused at that.
“Sure he’s harsh, but he doesn’t insult us or attack us just for existing!” Gabi yelled as she took a step forward.
Falco noticed the way that Starscream’s expression turned from amusement…into anger and disbelief. It looked unhinged! Mad!
“Gabi!” Falco called for her, “Gabi stop!”
“No I’m not done!” Gabi took another step forward, “I’m not going to let this devil trick us into think that Matthew is the enemy and that Reiner would abandon us! He’s a good person! He wouldn’t lie or betray us!”
Starscream could only hear that human’s shrill screams, but the context of her words were drowned out by his swirling thoughts. Megatron…a good person? No. That was wrong. Megatron is a liar. A brute. An utter fool. Who abandoned the Decepticon cause and left him at the servos of those Predacons he allowed to be created! All those years of torment and abuse! All those years of getting hit and beaten into the ground! The scorn! Ridicule! Now he’s playing nice with humans?! Insects?! He values humans more than his own second command!
“He even set up a mock burial for our fallen comrade after he died!” He…he did what?! Starscream wasn’t allowed time to even grieve for his trine! But Megatron decides to give humans closure! This was wrong! THIS WAS ALL WRONG! Megatron doesn’t get to be happy! To have closure! MEGATRON DOESN’T GET TO MOVE ON!
Falco noticed the way Starscream clutches his head and his eyes twitching in fury. Everyone in the room did. Everyone except for Gabi who kept trying to make her case. “Gabi! Gabi, stop! Please!”
“No! I’ll never stop defending my friends!” Gabi declared.
“Will you JUST SHUT YOUR MOUTH INSECT?!” Gabi gasped when Starscream transformed his servo into a blaster and aimed it directly at her. She stared down the barrel of the gun, the situation not catching up to her brain.
“Gabi!” Falco tried to reach for her, but Colt tackled him away and shielded him from the sight as Starscream fired at her. Udo and Zofia ended up getting blown back from the blaster while the bounty hunters watched in surprise. Falco could hear Gabi's scream of terror as he saw a red light consume her and incinerate her to the bone. When the light disappeared, Falco saw there was nothing left except the charred floor where the impact happened.
"G-gabi..." Falco felt tears forming in his eyes as Colt sat up. The older brother's shock was also replaced with tears. Udo and Zofia were also horrified at the sight. They all walked over to the charred space and kneeled down before they started sobbing.
The bounty hunters turned their attention to Starscream, who seemed to slowly recollect himself from his moment of insanity. He turned to them with a dark expression.
"Take them to their cells," Starscream ordered.
Roughedge looked over at his comrades, unsure if he should follow, but the Vehicon and Insecticon were already picking up the crying humans, telling them to shut up. Looks like he had no choice in the matter. Not unless he wanted to keep his pay.
(Gabi haters enjoy. Free game: 44-46,10,14, 19, 22,23,26, 32,34-37,39.)

1, 2, 31, 43, 46, and 48 For the Jedi Ask and Leia for all because Jedi Leia is BA 💙
yesss Jedi Leia is awesome!! fun fact this is actually my first ask ever (despite the fact that I've been on tumblr for years) so I'm very excited. thank you for all the great questions!! this got long fast, whoops?
Jedi Ask Game by @jedimasterbailey
1. How did they find their kyber crystal?
I really struggled with this question! all the kyber crystal lore is so fascinating and I want to do it justice, you know? my favorite scenario might be Leia just stumbling across her crystal seemingly by chance. in short, it's more likely her crystal found her than she found it. when we see the younglings finding their crystals in The Clone Wars, they all have to overcome some aspect of themself standing in their way. for Leia, I think that aspect would be her determination and independence. those are some of her best qualities, but too much of a good thing is still a bad thing.
once she and Luke decide it's time for her to build her own saber, she'll probably try really hard to find her crystal, doing everything she can, but she's just not having any luck. she won't ask for Luke's help or find some files about crystal locations because she wants to do it herself and prove her own capability. she goes at it logically, but she's not meditating or trying to use the Force to help her because she's stubborn as hell. she's basically at the point of giving up, so she puts it in the back of her mind while she goes off on some other mission. but in the middle of said mission, her crystal finally calls to her. (bonus points if it's in the middle of a high stakes chase cause that would be funny.) it's on some random planet she never would have thought to look and she wasn't even trying to find it in that moment.
she only finds the crystal when she stops trying to have total control over the situation. she wants to be independent, but she has to learn to make that independence coexist with sometimes letting go of her own convictions and logic and allowing the Force to guide her. there's no situation in which she can have complete agency over everything, which is the lesson she has to learn to find her crystal. but I don’t know, that’s just one idea.
2. Why did they build their lightsaber hilt the way they did?
Leia's hilt definitely resembles Obi-Wan's, which I don't doubt was intentional. one thing I love about the Obi-Wan series is the relationship between him and Leia; it's so sweet. he's not only an important person to her, but other than Luke, he's basically the only Force-user with whom she's had a positive relationship, so it makes sense that she would want to model her saber after his. hers is still unique though -- it's very polished and elegant (just like her). the color of the non-silvery metal seems to look different in every photo, but I choose to believe it's rose gold because that's just so extra in the best way possible. she's very stylish, so her lightsaber should be too, right?
31. A Jedi they look up to the most?
I already talked about him a little bit, but probably Obi-Wan. I mean, her options are pretty limited, assuming she doesn't have access to much knowledge about pre-Order 66 Jedi. a bit of a tangent, but I find it kind of funny that the Jedi Buddy™ of her parents (both bio and adoptive, actually) she knows best is Obi-Wan, because she is so much more like Ahsoka. but she probably looks up to Obi-Wan not in spite of their differences, but because of them. I imagine she admires his patience and ability to see the good in everyone, both things she (understandably) struggles with. however, they share a lot of virtues too -- compassion, strength, and a never-ending supply of sarcasm and snark -- so he likely serves as a source for inspiration in that sense as well. Leia admires Luke for similar reasons, but I'm not sure I'd say she looks up to him, since sometimes he can be a little clueless (and I say that with the utmost affection), so Obi-Wan is definitely more of a role model for her.
43. If they could talk to any deceased Jedi who would it be and why?
for all the reasons I've already discussed, she would probably want to talk to Obi-Wan. she'd spend a few minutes yelling at him, of course, and I can't say I blame her. but since I've already talked about Obi-Wan a lot, I'll suggest another.
Leia deserves to have a nice talk with a fellow Jedi girlboss, and it was hard to pick one, but I'll go with Aayla Secura. I think they would get along well. they're both very compassionate and always aim to do the right thing. they're pragmatic and strategic but also extremely loyal and caring toward the people they care about, but not to the point of it being possessive or unhealthy. Leia could probably learn more from a Jedi less similar to her, but like... she's been through it. let her just chill and have some girl talk with Aayla, especially since she essentially has no Jedi "peers," since even her brother/bestie serves as her teacher (at least in the Jedi department). it's great that people like Obi-Wan and Luke are different from her, so they can all learn from each other, but I also like the idea of her having someone she can see more eye-to-eye with. plus Aayla is just awesome and very underappreciated.
46. Your favorite headcanon about them.
okay I have several. the first is I love the theory that Leia has psychometry as a Force ability. for one thing, it's a super cool ability, but it's also a clever in-universe explanation for how Leia has memories of Padmé. of course, it could have just been some kind of Force vision, but I think psychometry would be more interesting. it also fits in well with Leia's other characteristics like her intuition, how easily she can read other people, and how she quickly forms strong emotional connections.
second, Beru would adore her and they would get along so well.
and then the last is that she's sapphic, probably bi. that's it that's the headcanon. no one can change my mind (I may or may not just be projecting). shoutout to the rarepair Sabine/Leia shippers, they get me. I'm always on that wlw Leia agenda.
48. A crack headcanon about them.
I have multiple for this one too sorry. she will vehemently deny it, but she loves a good rom-com. I'm thinking very much Nora Ephron vibes, as well as a lot of the late 90s/early 2000s classics (10 Things I Hate About You, 13 Going on 30, etc)
this one is definitely crack because I don't think she'd ever be so out of touch with reality... but she literally grew up as royalty, so it's funny to imagine her having rich kid tendencies. come on, just think about her saying that one Arrested Development line: "it's one banana, Luke, what could it cost? ten credits?" that would be hilarious.
Tumblr media
and lastly, she and Leida Mothma have met but they hate each other's guts. Mon Mothma and Bail Organa are homies so their daughters should be too, right? nah. they grew up in basically the same circumstances, they're only about a year apart in age, their names are only different by a single letter, but they could not be more different. at 15, Leia is already her wonderful justice-seeking, politically active, rebellious, independent self. meanwhile Leida is going down the tradwife rabbithole on Reddit.
thanks again for the ask and for making the ask game! :) it was very fun!! if anyone wants to suggest another question feel free to drop it in my asks <3

4th day "Partner" (scene 3)
"―――All right. I'll take that offer, Tohsaka. Honestly, it will really help me out if you do so."
…There's no choice from the start.
There are too many things I don't know, and I'm unskilled as a magus.
Even if it's temporary, if Tohsaka is going to give me a hand, I don't think there's any better option.
"Then it's decided. Let's shake hands. For now, let's stay allies until we beat Berserker."
"Oh… I see. That's how it'll be, huh? I guess it can't be helped, but that's easier to understand."
I shake her hand.
…I'm a bit perplexed.
The instant I feel Tohsaka's soft hand, I realize she is a girl.
In comparison, my hand covered in scratches from messing around with stuff is ill-suited.
"―――"
The instant I think so, I pull back, embarrassed.
"What? You don't want to cooperate with me after all?"
"―――No, it's not that. It's a real help to be able to ally with you. It's not that, so don't worry about it."
After making a puzzled face,
"Ohhhhh."
She makes a malicious expression.
"W-What? I'll take back the agreement if you say something stupid. I will. I really will!"
"Was that the first time you've held a girl's hand?
You seem to have lots of friends, but you're actually shy, Shirou."
"N-No! It's not that, but…"
I'm just embarrassed because it was Tohsaka… but I can never say such a thing, and certainly I have never touched a girl so strongly before.
"Ahaha, you really do show you feelings on your face like I've heard. Well, I won't ask you about it for now. It'll be a problem if I poke fun at you and you get sulky."
…Well, Fuji-Nee is an exception.
She's more like someone from a different planet than from a different sex.
"―――Hey, hold on."
Wasn't there something weird in what she just said…?
"Then here's a deposit. I'll give you this, so think of it as proof of our alliance."
Tohsaka puts a book on the table.
It looks just like a diary.
There's no title and it is wine-red.
…The color seems to suit Tohsaka.
"It's my father's, but I'll give it to you since I don't need it anymore. It's not something a full Master needs, but I thought you might need it."
Tohsaka's eyes tell me to take a look.
"…Then excuse me."
I open it to a random page.
―――Then.
There's nothing written in the book, but a strange image pops into my head.
"…!?? Tohsaka, what is this?"
"It's the status of each of the Servants. You already know the Holy Grail War has its set of rules, right? It's the same for the Servants."
"First of all, only seven heroic spirits are summoned.
Those seven can be summoned only after they become one of the predetermined classes that the Holy Grail has prepared in advance. Instead of bringing the actual heroic spirit, it made a class similar to the spirit and called it into that."
"Spiritual spells which call forth spirits put the spirit in the caster's body, right? It's like that.
To call forth a spirit from a different timeframe, it's easier to prepare a case for them in advance."
"Class… oh, that's why Saber is Saber!"
"That's right. I told you, heroic spirits need to hide their identity, right? That's why they will never say their real names. Naturally, their summoned class becomes their name."
"So, the seven classes prepared are:
Saber,
Lancer,
Archer,
Rider,
Caster,
Assassin,
Berserker."
"Rank of the heroic spirits… you mean how strong they were when they were alive?"
"There is a change in one or two of the classes every Holy Grail War, but we have a basic lineup this time. The standard opinion is that Saber is the best Servant.
Each class has their own special characteristics, but the abilities of the Servants differ according to the rank of the heroic spirit summoned."
"That also, but what strengthens their ability is their popularity.
What they did and what weapons they had do not change, but their basic abilities change depending on how famous they are in this time.
Heroic spirits are like gods, so they grow stronger the more people worship them."
"I guess you can say it solidifies their presence. It's the same as divine spirits falling to the rank of spirits when they lose their faith. Heroes that are forgotten by the people do not have much power.
But then, even if they are forgotten or unknown, if he was originally a powerful hero, then I think he can keep his powers to some extent."
"…Then if it's a hero everyone knows, and if their story was extraordinary―――"
"They would undoubtedly be a Rank A Servant.
Berserker might be the strongest in that regard too.
After all, he is the most famous hero in Greek mythology.
The heroes from the age of gods have special Noble Phantasms just because of that, and if the hero itself is strong to add to that, there's nothing much we can do."
"…Tohsaka. Um, what is this 'Noble Phantasm'?"
"It's the symbol that the Servant used in their life. Heroes and their holy swords or demonic swords come as a set, right? So in other words, their weapons."
"…? Weapons… you mean like Saber's invisible sword?"
"Hmm… so in short, a powerful magical item?"
"Yeah. I don't know what history it has, but it certainly is her Noble Phantasm.
I don't think I even need to say, but heroes cannot stay in a legend with just their names.
They each have a weapon that became their trademark.
That is the most powerful weapon, called a Noble Phantasm, the crystallization of people's desire for a miracle."
"Right. To be blunt, heroes themselves cannot match powerful spells or divine mysteries.
But it's a different story when the Noble Phantasms come in.
Heroes wielding Noble Phantasms can even defeat spirits of several ranks higher.
It's because most holy and demonic swords appearing in legends are close to the level of sorcery."
"…So, Servants that are heroic spirits have at least one Noble Phantasm?"
"Swords that kill dragons which are the most powerful fantasia race, shoes that run far and wide, and even god-killing demonic swords.
…Anyways, the weapons heroes have are so extraordinary, it makes you wonder how they cannot be all-mighty.
I'm not overstating saying that the battle between Servants is concentrated in the battle between the Noble Phantasms."
"However, Noble Phantasms are miracles that need to be activated by stating their true name, so it's not something they can use easily."
"Yes. As a general rule, one hero can only hold one Noble Phantasm.
Usually something like a sword or a spear. There's this weapon called the mountain-destroying sword in China, right? You can only swing it once, but it's a magical sword so one swing will even destroy a mountain and such. I think it's kind of like that."
"…? It's activated just by saying the weapon's name, right? Why would that mean it can't be used easily?"
"Hey now, if you know the name of the weapon, you can also tell which hero the Servant is.
A hero and his weapon come as a set, so once you know the name of the weapon, you naturally know the name of the owner. If that happens, you know every strength and weakness of that Servant."
"I see. Certainly, that's true."
Saber did work out Lancer's identity after he used his Noble Phantasm.
Something like being Ireland's child of light…
"―――Hm."
So, if I summarize this…
Servants are separated into classes, each of them a heroic spirit suited to their class.
These heroic spirits hide their identity.
And their weapons are their greatest trump card, but they cannot readily use them since they reveal their identity.
"That concludes the lecture on Servants.
You should learn the details if you read that book, so take a look at it when you have time. If you get used to it, you should be able to identify the Servant from intuition without the book."
Saying that, Tohsaka stands up.
"Well then, I'm heading home."
"Huh? Yeah, thanks."
I look up at Tohsaka, who's about to leave.
Clearly stating our position, Tohsaka goes home.
"Don't take this the wrong way. Even though we're cooperating right now, in our position, we will eventually have to fight. Once all the other Masters are dead, or even if they are alive, this fact will not change.
So―――it'll be easier if you don't think of me as human, Emiya-kun."
Is it because Tohsaka went home and my tension disappeared?
My body feels dull, so I lay down in the living room.
"―――"
I stave off the returning nausea by lying on my side.
The clock ticks in the silent living room.
"…A fight between Masters, huh?"
I still don't understand what it is.
The only thing I'm sure of is that it's beyond me.
It would feel more real if I had more interest in the Holy Grail―――
"Why, I wonder? All I feel toward the Holy Grail is disgust."
A grail said to make wishes come true.
I don't know what kind of a thing it is, but it's an artifact that can even summon these things called Servants.
It might not go as far as granting any wish, but it should have more than enough value for any magus to want it.
But still―――I'm not interested in it.
It's true that I'm dubious about its reality, but accepting that easy way to reach a goal feels like cheating myself.
"And the worst aspect of this thing is that the selection method is a battle."
…But this is a fight for a single chair.
No matter what your expectations are, as long as you enter it, you can't survive unless you defeat your enemies.
And depending on your methods, defeating other Masters might result in harm to innocent people.
That's why…
―――Rejoice, Emiya Shirou.
My reason for fighting is not to win the Holy Grail War.
―――Your wish will finally come true.
It is to stop those that would try to win it by any means possible.
"―――――!"
I feel dizzy again.
It's only natural.
Even if it appears to be back to normal, my body was almost split in half a few hours ago.
There's no way this sickness will go away quickly. It seems more likely that it'll continue for the rest of my life.
Because I was almost killed three times in a day.
If someone weak joins a battle, it's natural for him to get hurt.
As compensation for my lack of strength, I almost lost my body…
And she was wounded protecting me.
"―――!"
I get up.
"Oh yeah, her…!"
What am I doing?
I totally forgot about her because Tohsaka was here.
No, I unconsciously avoided thinking about her.
―――Coward.
I have been avoiding recalling the girl who was wounded because of me.
The one that was bleeding miserably because of me.
"Tohsaka didn't say the most important thing…!"
I pull my resting body together and stand up.
Tohsaka didn't say anything about Saber.
She said she and Saber brought me here, but she said nothing more.
The fact I need to know most: if she, the one wounded by Berserker, is all right or not.
"Guh―――――"
I look through the house, bearing the dizziness.
I look around where someone could be, all the guest rooms, but I cannot find Saber.
"That's weird… she's in that outfit, so you'd think it'd be easy to find her."
There's no sign of the brave armor-clad Saber anywhere around the house.
Tohsaka said Servants can become spirits, but I can't do that.
No, first of all―――
"They say I'm a Master, but just how am I a Master?"
I don't understand who she is nor how she exists.
This is like a new soldier being given a tank.
"That's right. Even if you give a guy that has only used old guns a brand new weapon, he won't know how to use it."
I complain.
Well, the lucky thing is, this tank has an auto-pilot function. Even if the driver is terrible, the tank will fight on its own.
"―――"
Angry at my thoughts, I hit my head against the wall.
"…How rotten of me, idiot. That was such an impolite complaint."
I apologize to the blond-haired girl in my head.
Now, I feel like I have to find her and confirm her safety.
"She's not here either―――"
I search throughout the house.
It's a big house, but I didn't play hide-and-seek here with Fuji-Nee as a kid for nothing. I know the efficient way to search this place.
If I haven't found her after searching this much, then―――
"The yard, the shed, or―――"
There are several possibilities, but I don't even consider the possibility that she's not here anymore.
She said she would protect me.
So I don't think she would leave this place.
"―――Maybe."
It suddenly hits me.
Not the house, the yard, nor the shed where we first met.
Come to think of it, there is another large building in this place.
"She must be there."
I hurry.
I head to the dojo, separated from the main building.
"―――"
I'm a bit tense.
If she's not here, I will have to admit that she is gone.
"…?"
That makes me realize.
The inconsistency… even though I know nothing about her, I want her to stay.
She is sitting there naturally.
A wooden-floored room with nothing unnecessary.
A dojo built only to train oneself in.
In this silent place, in the faint sunlight…
"―――――"
A space filled with tranquility.
The sunlight shining in is white, and it makes her and the dojo into one.
I can see nothing amiss in her dignified posture.
Just by sitting there, she stiffens the air in the dojo.
But there's nothing cold about it.
It's because her figure is so pure, it makes me forget even about the cold winter air.
"―――, ―――"
Even the sound of my breath is a nuisance.
The girl, sitting Japanese-style in the corner of the dojo, is definitely the girl from last night.
The girl who appeared just before I was killed by Lancer, and the girl that mercilessly slashed him with her sword.
Her golden hair, that was reflecting the blue moonlight, is now one with the warm sunlight.
"―――――"
That really makes me remember.
This is exactly what I felt when I first saw her.
The girl clad in armor, slashing her sword to silently overwhelm her opponent,
I wasn't surprised by how out-of-world that scene was.
It doesn't matter what she's wearing. It probably wouldn't change even if she was covered in mud.
The girl that moved me deeply is still in front of me.
"―――――"
That is why I forget even to breathe and continue to stare at her.
Forgetting about Masters, the Holy Grail War and everything.
In this instant―――I have completely accepted Saber.
I do not know how long it was.
Saber opens her eyes as if awakening from sleep.
"―――Oh."
My disappointed voice echoes loudly through the dojo.
Saber stands up, perhaps noticing the sound.
"……"
I walk towards her, still not knowing what to say.
"You are awake, Shirou."
A calm voice.
Her voice, echoing through the dojo as if permeating it, is surprisingly suited to this place.
"Y―――Yeah. I just got up."
I answer with a dull head.
"Shirou? You seem pale, are you feeling ill?"
The golden-haired girl approaches me.
"Uh, n-no…! I'm feeling really good…!"
I quickly step back to get away from Saber.
"…?"
Looking away from Saber, who is tilting her head questioningly, I calm down my pounding heart.
"…Calm down. What am I so tense about―――!?"
I take a deep breath.
…But it doesn't seem to die down quickly. In fact, I don't think it ever will.
"…Geez, why has she changed…?"
I complain without meaning to.
Saber's clothes have changed dramatically since yesterday.
She's wearing normal clothes, completely unlike her armor.
It's rather unexpected and I'm troubled by it.
…She is terribly beautiful.
I thought I figured that out yesterday, but it really hits me now.
Perhaps her armor looked so surreal that I didn't notice yesterday.
But if she dresses like a girl, as a healthy guy, I'm troubled.
"Shirou."
I tense up the moment our eyes meet.
But I didn't look for her so as to not talk to her.
I'm troubled, but I can't stay quiet forever.
"It's Saber, right? This will be the first time we sit down and talk, but―――"
I make up my mind and talk to her.
―――And then.
"Shirou. Before that, there is something I would like to tell you about last night."
She interrupts my words with a sullenness that makes her earlier calmness seem like an illusion.
"――? All right, what is it?"
"It is about last night.
You are my Master. It is troubling if you take such an action. Battle is my work, so you must concentrate on your role. If you go and die in vain yourself, there is no way I can protect you."
Saber says so clearly.
―――That makes the tension I was feeling vanish.
"W-What do you mean!? You would have been slashed if I didn't do that!"
"In that case, I would have just died. It was not something you should have been hurt for. I will repeat myself. Please do not take such an action again. There is no need for my Master to protect me, and there is no reason for it either."
Maybe she was surprised at being yelled at, but she pauses for a moment as if I've done something unexpected. And then, she stares at me with indescribable dignity.
She speaks plainly.
It must be because she is speaking so practically.
"Wha―――don't be stupid. You don't need a reason to save a girl…!"
I reply unconsciously.
"Uh…"
I back up a bit being stared at.
Her look makes me realize that I've said something really out-of-place, and it embarrasses me.
"A-Anyway, I'm grateful that you brought me home. I'll thank you for that."
"You are welcome. It is natural for a Servant to protect her Master, but I am happy to be thanked. You are very polite."
"No. I'm not polite."
"Going back to our conversation, Saber. …Oh, I'll ask formally, but can I call you Saber?"
More importantly, there's something I need to clarify right now.
It's something I should have asked right after I got home yesterday.
If she is really my Servant,
And―――if she is really taking part in this war.
"Yes. Since I have formed a contract with you as a Servant, I am your sword. I will follow your orders, defeat your enemies, and protect you."
Saber says so without the slightest hesitation.
There's no room for me to question her about it.
"Become my sword, huh? To win this Holy Grail War?"
"…? Is that not why you have summoned me?"
"No. I summoned you because―――"
I can't say it was by pure accident.
No, first of all, I didn't even summon her.
She just appeared when I was in danger, and saved me with her own decision.
The result is the situation we are in.
I became Saber's Master, and I was dragged into this thing called the Holy Grail War.
Not one bit of it was my intention.
I'm just an amateur magus that was dragged into this battle beyond my abilities―――
"―――! What of it?
…I've already convinced myself that I have to fight. I can't complain now."
I shake my head lightly and stop whining.
―――That's it.
A man has said he will fight.
So I cannot even talk about running away.
This will be the last time I will talk or think about whining.
No matter how the decision came, I have decided to fight.
"Shirou?"
"―――Oh, it's nothing.
But Saber, there's only a small chance of winning if you stay with me. I don't have the powers or the brains of Tohsaka, so tomorrow might end up like today. Are you okay with that?"
"Does that mean that you lack the will to fight?"
"I have the will. I just don't have the chance of victory, so I'm asking you if you're all right serving such a Master.
This is a battle I have decided to take on.
So―――"
"You are my Master, Shirou. This fact will not change. A Servant does not have the freedom to choose its Master."
I think it's wrong for someone to get hurt in my place.
Even though I'm weak, making Saber fight,
And―――
I can't stand letting a scene like that happen again.
"―――――"
That's true.
That's why Saber is my Servant right now.
Then I should try my best not to burden her too much.
"…All right. So you're content I'm your Master?"
"Yes. But Shirou, I will not allow defeat for my Master.
If you have no chance of victory, I will make one for you.
I will use every means possible to have you obtain the Holy Grail. That is why we follow the call of the summoning."
To obtain the Holy Grail, huh?
Tohsaka said Servants also have a wish they want granted.
So Saber must be no exception.
That is why she has no doubts.
But that means…
"…Hold on, Saber.
You said any means possible, right? Does that mean you do not care what measures you take to win the war? For example, attacking people to gain pow―――"
I cannot finish.
Saber is looking at me like I'm an enemy.
"Shirou, that is not a possibility.
I can only do those things I will allow myself to do. I cannot betray my beliefs. It is against the knight's oath to hurt those who are unarmed."
"But I must obey if you order so. In that case, you will have to use one of your Command Spells to compensate for treading inside me."
I am overwhelmed by her angered voice.
"―――――"
But still, I'm happy and relieved.
Her lack of doubt gave her the image of a cold fighting machine, but I know now that she is not a cold-blooded killer.
"Uh… no, I jumped to a hasty conclusion without knowing your intentions. You are not at fault, so please raise your head…"
"―――Yeah, I won't let you do such a thing.
As you say, we have to do our best with what we can do. …I'm really sorry. I insulted you without realizing it."
"Huh? Oh sorry, I apologized without realizing it."
I raise my head.
"―――――"
I don't know what's funny, but Saber has a small smile on her face.
"…?"
Well, I'm glad she's smiling, so I won't ask her about it.
"You mean Rin? …I see, that is certainly an intelligent choice. There will be many things you can learn from her, until you become a suitable Master."
"…Oh, I forgot to tell you.
I said we'll do whatever we can, right? As one measure, I've decided to cooperate with Tohsaka for a while. Remember Archer's Master, who you were with for a while yesterday?"
…Thank God.
If Saber agrees, I can proudly cooperate with Tohsaka.
The only other thing I need to ask her right now is―――

dev's bread crumbs
please ignore me, i'm about to ramble because i am so excited that someone finally noticed!
i've been fairly removed from my dear san in {of beskar and kyber} recently, opting to lose myself in the restaurant au of {garnish} and the absolute dreamboat that is chef! joel miller, but i received some very exciting comments on my fic over on ao3 and i wanted to kind of point out the things this commenter picked up on
Tumblr media
they're right, they are one hundred thousand percent right about white lightsabers being rare and holding the significance of purity and subsequently detachment from both sides of the force. there is a very big reason why i didn't tag this as din djarin x jedi! reader, but din djarin x force sensitive! reader
this was my rather enthusiastic answer as i sipped my morning coffee:
"yes!! it is a very big deal!! i put a lot of thought into the color and vibrance of san's saber. i wanted to display that despite all the bad she's experienced in her life and all of the trauma she's endured that she is good at the very core of her soul and heart...but that she wasn't always that way... i will be delving further into it once we get further along in the plotlines of the mandalorian and see more characters. thank you so much for being here and taking such an interest in my lil fic!! i love you ♡"
i've been leaving small breadcrumbs from the initial chapter of this fic, with the fear of san being discovered by the all black, modulated form of darth vader when first approached by din and hearing his modulated voice and her subsequent nightmare on arvala-7 after using her powers to save din for the first time. why she was on the run, the way her mother felt the need to 'protect' her the way that she did, the protection and love and home she found with akiz and the loss of him (which is yet to be revealed how and by who's hands). it's all leading up to something i cannot wait to share with you and i hope to write out just as perfectly as it's pictured in my silly little mind
okay, anyway, thank you for reading if you got through all that. i'm just really giddy that someone is finding the things i'm hiding in my writing

please give us some harringrove star wars headcanons if you’re up to it! last time I checked there weren’t really any harringrove stars wars fics on ao3 so I am desperate lmao. but only if you have the time and energy for it tho because miss Rona can be exhausting :/ hope you feel better soon <3
Hi!! Thank you for the well wishes, so far I'm feeling alright, so I can definitely provide some headcanons!
So I think, for one, being a Jedi would fundamentally change Billy as a character. I know a gut reaction may be that he is just like Anakin, but I don't really think he is. The thing is, Anakin is desperate for personal control, but Billy is only desperate for control where his father is concerned.
Removing his father from the equation by being taken to the creche would probably allow him to be more balanced and connected. Hence my belief that he would be a lot more like Mace Windu and toe the line between the light and dark side making his saber purple.
An interesting fun fact about Mace is that he's the only known Jedi to practice Vaapad without falling to the dark side because of how aggressive the form is. And damn if that ain't Billy, I don't know what is. His resistance of the Mindflayer, to me, really seems similar to his ability to resist the call of the dark side.
On the other hand, I think Steve would likely practice Ataru which is the form Yoda used. It's also aggressive but not to the extent that Vaapad is. It relies on ducking and staying out of an opponent's way, which is what Steve does and it's why he doesn't plant his feet.
Like I said last night, he would probably have a blue lightsaber because it's the guardian color. He is protective and he wants to put himself in between others and someone trying to hurt them. That's classic Jedi behavior.
Steve is probably a little more like Qui-Gon in that he likely doesn't fully agree with all the tenants of the Jedi and might feel they're stuck in their ways. But I also think he tends to put single-minded focus on things and would work hard to be a "good" Jedi.
I also personally believe both of them could handle the Jedi no-attachments rule. A lot of people don't get it, but it's to be able to love without coveting. Steve at the end of S1 and in S2 isn't possessive of Nancy, no matter how much it's killing him to watch her fall out of love with him.
Billy also isn't possessive, he just doesn't want to face the repercussions of Neil's ire. So I just think, being in the same place would allow them to have a more casual relationship that wouldn't jeopardize their beliefs. And also, the Jedi don't forbid sexual relationships.
Now if they weren't Jedi? Man, oh man, Billy would make an excellent questioning Mandalorian. I can just imagine Neil forcing this onto him, forcing him to obey the religion, wear the helmet, do not question it. And Billy rebelling hard against that. Enjoying aspects of his upbringing but wanting to see the galaxy too and not live in fear (under the empire's ruling).
Steve is a little harder to pin down. I think he would (under the empire's rule) try to be a plant in the empire for the rebellion. His father is probably a high level officer in the empire so he uses his own nepotism position to help smuggle Jedi and force users away from the empire.
And I could imagine he gets in a tight spot, he's probably not going to make it out because he's been discovered when all of a sudden, a young, angry Mandalorian shows up and just destroys the droids that have been sent after him. And then they fall in love.
Can you tell I have a lot of thoughts about this? Because I do. I have a million thoughts.

Have you given any thought to changing Kira's saber color? I have her using purple because I think that fits her better thematically. (Also because I rather dislike the default bioware green)
-aka legends-chauvinist
See, purple certainly works well enough for Kira. (In fact, one of my favorite pieces of fanfic ever includes Kira proudly wielding the purple.)
But - I do like her with fluorescent green. I picture Kira as a combination of bold colors. Her auburn hair. Her deep blue eyes. Her fluorescent green lightsaber. And then I put her in an outfit dyed dark forest green. All against her fair skin.
(Yeah, i've thought a lot about Kira's aesthetic. 🥴 )
But those are my own tastes.
Thanks for the asks, @khrushchevs-corn-farm / @legends-chauvinist !

Nakia Saber Intro
Tumblr media
if you're hearing EMILY by SAN FERMIN playing, you have to know NAKIA SABER (HE/HIM; CISMAN) is nearby! the 32 year old GRADUATE ART HISTORY STUDENT/GALLERY ATTENDANT has been in denver for, like 32 YEARS. they're known to be quite STUBBORN, but being HONEST seems to balance that out. or maybe it's the fact that they resemble ZEEKO ZAKI. personally, i'd love to know more about them seeing as how they've got those NEVER EXPECTING TO MAKE IT THIS FAR, UNKNOWN FUTURE, ALWAYS HIDING WHAT YOU'RE FEELING vibes. and maybe i'll get my chance if i hang around the CHERRY CREEK DISTRICT long enough!

Nakia was the oldest of three kids to two loving parents. After immigrating from Egypt, Dina and Aton decided to start a family and have the perfect American Dream. And honestly they did have the perfect, loving, family that kids could only dream of having. Sure Nakia thought that his family could be embarrassing at times but he loved them and knew that he was loved.
DEATH TW/CAR ACCIDENT TW
When Naika was just fourteen years old his father called one night saying he was going to be home late from work. During dinner the doorbell rang and they were greeted by a policeman with some very terrible news. Aton had died in a car accident.
TW END
The family was obviously heart broken and their life had changed forever. Nakia had tried to step up and help out as much as he could and never tried to make life hard for his mother.
CANCER TW
Which was why he never complained about how he was getting tired all the time and in pain. He didn't think there was much to be concerned about and there was no reason to worry his mother. It wasn't until other people started noticing did Nakia agree to get checked out by his doctor. Again the family was completely changed when it was revealed that Nakia had Leukemia.
He tried to be upbeat during the whole process but overall it left him pretty jaded. But hey at least he got an arch nemesis out of it!
TW END
Since getting his life back he's been trying to live life to the fullest. Finding his art passion in the hospital he knew that was the only thing he wanted to do from now on. He keeps putting off his Master's degree because he genuinely is afraid of what is going to happen when he's done since he has worked for so long for this.
★𝙒𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨★
Roommates - I'm sure Nakia can't afford a place alone and genuinely would be a great person to be roommates with
Friends - Listen Nakia is a bit grumpy, please love him anyway
Frequent Fliers - He can talk for hours about art and maybe you go to the gallery a lot and every time he wants to infodump about all the different paintings
Ex's/Flings/FWB - Genuinely he is so soft when it comes to romance that it would be fun for him to show it in different ways
This is late and idk what else to put I'll rewrite this later

Okay, with season two done, let’s come back to Ghost Crew Reva again.
Which means we get to have the moment where Reva gets to go to the Lothal temple finally!
And that’s super fun, because I like to imagine that this is where Reva gets a kyber crystal, just like Ezra did. Reva, out of the three Jedi survivors here, is the only one who may not have actually ever gone to Ilum to get a kyber crystal for herself. She’s potentially old enough to have done so based on what age the kids in the Gathering seem to be and how old she looks in her flashbacks, but for the sake of angst and emotional catharsis, let’s say she maybe hadn’t gone yet, she was just about to do so within a few months or something and never gets the opportunity before she’s just handed a blood-red saber as an Inquisitor. And with that in mind, she’s gone through an entire journey to come back to being more of a Jedi, so while Ahsoka refuses to identify as a Jedi again, Reva gets to come BACK to it like Kanan does. Kanan gets knighted in this episode because he chooses to come to terms with his fears towards Ezra’s future and lets go of them. Reva would get to gain the Gathering she should’ve had and never managed to reach, she gets to re-start on that path officially.
What would she face in that temple? Honestly, I don’t know. She’s had a number of trials already, obviously, she’s faced down Anakin already, let go of her desire for vengeance, let go of her fear of losing her second family when she chose to be honest with them about her past. Maybe this time it hits on her fear that she’ll never truly be a Jedi again. Similar to how Ahsoka sees Anakin come to blame her for her choice to leave the Jedi and how that impacted him, Reva could see others, blaming her for falling to the Dark, saying she’d disrespected their memory by becoming an Inquisitor, and that she could never truly be a Jedi after that. And, like Kanan, she has to hold firm to the teachings she was reconnecting with, has to fight back against her own guilt and say “no, I fell but I can climb back out, I can come back, and I choose to stay on the path of the Jedi for the rest of my days even if I stumble.”
And when she comes out, she’s holding her own kyber crystal. She doesn’t have a hilt yet and they don’t really have a lot of time to find the stuff to make one with the way we see them do with Ezra, and Reva maybe doesn’t feel quite ready yet to come up with a design, so she just holds onto it for the time being.
Until they reach Malachor.
I’ll be honest, I really thought they were going to take one of the lightsabers from Malachor and it would become Ezra’s new one. I’m a little disappointed it never happened and Ezra somehow just gains a new kyber crystal and builds a new saber off-screen between seasons with no attention paid to it. So in this AU, Reva decides to pick up a few of the lightsabers left on Malachor by the Jedi, that still come out a color other than red despite how long they’ve spent surrounded by death and darkness. They’re struggling, they glitch, but they just need a little care to come back to themselves and something tells Reva they could come in handy, so she grabs a few and puts them on her belt. One of them becomes her new saber, the other gets donated to Ezra’s cause. Maybe Ezra picked up the crystal out of his chopped hilt so he just has to swap them out or maybe Ezra ends up connecting with the old kyber crystal in whichever saber he chooses.
Obviously the end of the Inquisitors, the deaths of the final three, would impact her pretty badly. As difficult of a relationship as she obviously had with the other Inquisitors, Reva knows that they were like her, that they were once Jedi children taken during their massacre by one of their own who had fallen and betrayed them, broken through torture into these shells that hold nothing else but hate. Reva wishes she could save them, the way she had been saved, she wishes there was a way she could get through to them. Maybe she’s been trying all season with Seventh Sister and Fifth Brother, TRYING to reach out to them, trying to convince them to join her instead of doing the Empire’s bidding. And it never works. And as Maul cuts them down, as the last one jumps into the air with a broken hilt that won’t work anymore, Reva mourns. She promises herself she will do right by them, too, as much as the younglings who were cut down at the Temple and left to rot during Order 66.
And the fight against Anakin would probably go a little differently just because the characters know exactly who it is under that mask. There’s no questioning it for Ahsoka, and Ahsoka’s been hearing everything Reva’s said to her over the last year about how Anakin made his choices, about what Anakin had done, that it wasn’t ABOUT Ahsoka leaving the Order, it wasn’t ABOUT the Jedi at all. There was nothing Ahsoka could have done then, and nothing she could do now, either. Ahsoka’s fought that, refused to believe she couldn’t reach him, but she’s had more time to come to terms with that, more time to consider what she knew of Anakin and try to look past the rose-colored lenses of nostalgia and grief to the truth of Anakin’s unorthodox teachings, his temper, his refusal to discuss his own past with her, his admission that he’d considered leaving the Order himself. On Lothal, her own vision at the Temple, is a little more fruitful. She’s able to let go of her guilt because her choice to leave had been what she had to do at the time and it HADN’T led to Anakin’s choices, she was not to blame and she had to let go of that. If she’s going to face Anakin at any point, she needs to do so with a clear head. So when she finally does face him on Malachor, it isn’t with guilt pushing her to act. It isn’t with a desire for vengeance. She’s not a Jedi, but the Jedi raised her, and it does a disservice them, to their memory, to their loss, to choose to let vengeance and guilt guide her actions.
And besides, Kanan stayed behind to help Maul while Reva came with Ahsoka. Ahsoka’s got Reva standing right beside her, Reva who has fought through the dark, fought through her own grief, and come out the other side accepting what was done to her, what was taken from her. She doesn’t need to give in to anger and pain to defeat Anakin when she has Reva to stand by her. Reva, who pulls out one of the lightsabers she’d picked up from the battlefield outside, which glitches and spurts but glows any color other than red.
And together, the two of them keep Anakin distracted long enough for Ezra and Kanan to remove the holocron and escape together, leaving Anakin behind in the Sith temple to be crushed in the darkness he’s chosen. He survives, as per usual, but this time he doesn’t get to take Ahsoka down with him because she’s chosen to rise above Anakin’s choices instead, choose a better path, alongside the other two Jedi survivors who have had to overcome their own demons since Anakin betrayed them all.
Reva and Ahsoka, like Kanan and Rex, have a hard time with each other throughout season two. Ahsoka and Kanan have to figure out how to let go of their pasts, let go of their pain and insecurities, in order to accept the truths before them, the truths that are symbolically represented through Reva and Rex. And by the end of the season, Kanan’s accepted his role as a Jedi Knight within the Rebellion, and Ahsoka’s accepted the truth about Anakin’s fall.
And in the end, it’s Reva’s friendship that ultimately saves Ahsoka from her canon fate.

THREE PEOPLE HAVE NOW REACHED OUT ABOUT MAKING ART FOR HOM AND I AM LITERALLY OUT OF CONTROL ROLLING ON THE GROUND SCREAMING CRYING THROWING UP....
they did ask for description of y/n though so I thought i would make a post, including my hcs for her and also the series Pinterest board... which isn't huge but yk whatever HERE IS THE BOARD
okay so like i put in past chapters she would always be late to her growth spurt, but i imagine once she hit it she got tall.... like 5'8/5'9ish ig
i also didn't want her to be the cookie cutter dream girl body type, barbie/hourglass figure crap, bc A, it's unrealistic to most girls, and B, it's not practical for all the training she would do. I think she would be probably fit, but not "sports model" type fit, like "i train with a lightsaber everyday and my shoulders are jacked" kinda fit. so like broad shoulders and longer arms maybe. I find that longer arms are good for saber spinning and if she was tall it would just generally make sense??
i honestly think she'd be flat as a door tbh, like nothing up top. It could make her a little self conscious ig, but being flat is kinda like an overlooked body type a lot bc everyone usually associates big boobs with the "perfect body". It could also be useful in her training/fighting idk.
okay so maybe she got a little junk in the trunk, but only because of all the jumping and running, building up the muscle there.
i honestly don't think a narrow waist is realistic either, so she's probably just very straight shaped, like a cereal box lmaoo.
HIP DIPS, I REPEAT HIP DIPS... no one ever talks about them bc they make girls feel like it's an imperfection on their body, but they are beautiful ladies!!!!
longer legs, but maybe not slender and toned, maybe more built, and a little thicker on the thighs. I think that it's more realistic and it's one of my favorite traits on my own body so idk
OKAY THIS GIRL
red hair
periodt
maybe like layered, a wolf cut??? not short, but not really long either, a good mix of the in-between. PADAWAN BRAID BESTIES
green eyes, because of the scene where she thinks about green and blue going so well together and like obi-wan has sorta blue eyes, and his saber is blue, and her eyes are green like her own saber.
smaller features, like a fairy i think, but bigger eyes ig. Eyes are the window to the soul and consulars have really big and wide feeling souls... so
skin color is rlly up for debate, like i think the tan, more olive skin type would contrast rlly well to the red and green in her other features, but like my sister thinks she should be rlly pale bc like it's a natural trait of redheads.... honestly idk but it's up for debate.

[This fanfiction takes place in an AU that reimagines Minecraft in a Dungeons and Dragons Setting! I hope you enjoy!]
It was happening again. Everyone else in the island seemed to have found their so-called soulmates and Scar was left all alone just like last time. Had his soulmate really rejected him so early on? He knew he was clumsy and had a tendency to get injured, but he wasn't all bad! He had magic, something most other competitors couldn't fathom besides just a few tricks! He was a prince too and half a shark! Sharks were cool, weren't they? He could protect them- maybe. He wasn't good at actual fighting despite being large and muscular. Those were mostly just for show. But intimidation was still a tactic!
"No matter," he muttered to himself and wheeled through the forest. If he wanted to survive, he would need to start gathering resources and make a base. He would win, even if alone.
. . .
While exploring and looking for a mine to gather materials and a place to create a base, Scar came across the most amazing finding in the world: Giant Jellies! There were over a dozen of them rummaging through the land in search of what was likely food. Now, Scar had had cats ever since he first came to the surface, but never ones these big! Maybe he wouldn't need a soulmate after all.
. . .
It took him an entire night to gather enough resources to start on a base. The great white shark merman was exhausted by the end. No doubt, this was a task better suited for two, if not for their help, for the distraction of having someone to speak to.
Shaking away his thoughts, Scar made his way outside the mine. In the distance he could see the start of a base, which was curious. He was pretty far away from all the others since he opted to make a base near the giant cats in the island. Curious, he wheeled towards it.
Behind the spiky walls, barely illuminated was a short aasimar with colorful wings, dirty blonde hair and in a red sweater. "Well, hello there!"
Grian jumped, having clearly not expected someone there so late or maybe so early. It was adorable how his wings fluttered with distress, "how-"
"Say, Grian, you wouldn't have any fish or meat with you by any chance, would you?"
"N-no, but if you are hungry I can get you some bread."
"No, no, it's not for me! It's for my true soulmates! I will be living with the Jellies!"
"The Jellies?" Grian's black eyes blinked.
"Yup! The big cats that live not too far from here!"
"Scar, those are not giant cats! That's a pack of saber tooth tigers! They will eat you alive!"
"Oh, only if they are hungry, you know how grumpy cats can be when they are hungry! But if you feed them and give them lots of love they can be the best companions in the world!"
Grian put his hands together and inhaled, "you are insane, you know that? Actually insane! Do you have no regard towards your ACTUAL soul mate?!"
"The Jellies are my soulmate and if I had any other soulmate, maybe they would deserve for us to get devoured considering that they haven't even bothered to say hi."
"Scar…"
"That is a joke, Grian! Trust me, I'm a cat expert. I know what I'm doing!"
Grian stared at him for a few moments and then sighed, "ok, listen, I will go there with you, ok? Just- wait until I'm done with the walls and I will come, but promise you won't try anything until then, ok?"
"Yeah, of course! You've got a Scar word!" One Scar had no intention of keeping with the fingers crossed behind his back.
. . .
After leaving Grian's base, Scar was lucky enough to find a nearby river brimming with life. While he wasn't the most skilled person on land, Scar was an absolute ace when it came to swimming. When he jumped inside, the fish swam deeper into the water, a smart strategy to deal with surface dwellers, but a useless one against an amphibious apex predator such as himself. They stood no chance.
After several hours fishing, with the occasional break for a snack because fish were delicious, Scar headed to where he had first encountered the Jellies while looking for his soulmate. They were all asleep together, some cuddling in what had to be one of the cutest scenes he had ever seen. They even had babies. He must have gasped a little too loudly, because one of the animals shifted and opened its eyes. Upon seeing Scar, it bared its teeth and stood up slowly, snarling, ready to pounce. The others began getting up as well.
"No, hey, hey, it's ok, I mean no harm!" He assured it and reached inside his bag of holding. He pulled a large fish from inside and tossed it to the beast, "see? I'm a friend! I brought food to all of you!" He tossed more fishes to each of the animals surrounding him. They sniffed the offerings before happily devouring them. He had noticed they seemed rather skinny, so they more than welcomed the meal.
Scar smiled, continuing to feed them until another one of the giant cats approached him. This one was larger than the others and was side-eyeing him. The creature larger than two lions continued forward, enough so to make the merman swallow. He knew she could easily overpower him if she wanted. After a few uncomfortably long moments, she finally decided to eat as well. Once all of them were finished, they all laid down again and went back to sleep, seemingly unbothered by his presence. That made Scar smile.
Finally, somewhere he was welcomed to.

Keshiri Jedi OC, you say? 👀👀👀 (Please tell me everything about her.)
HHHHHHHH BUCKLE UP AND TYSM
asdfghjkl omg I’ve been waiting for this moment that I don’t even know where to start hang on
Tumblr media
So, this jumbled masterpiece ! This is some of her most basic information in Aurebesh, I was actively learning it as I was writing this out so I know my T’s and especially G’s are off, but basically:
Chessaf're'krudo, also known as Chess, or Jedi Knight Krudo. She was born on Keshiri (44BBY), but she’d only been on her home planet for a short time before a Chiss Jedi Master in their chunk of wild space had come for her. The Jedi delivered her to the temple so she could hone the force sensitivity that drove the Chiss Jedi to her. The Chiss Jedi named her themselves, which is why her name is of Chiss origin.
She is eventually taken in as Mace Windu’s padawan (31BBY) (my idea was keep the purples together because I thought it would be cool, but now I am just so genuinely in love with it), they butted heads a lot as master and Padawan, Chess didn’t want to be so detached from attachment, she wanted her friends to know she cared for them, was very vocal about her connections being what kept her good, and we know he has his connections, we know he cares, but he can’t express it as well as he wants to (coming from the interpretation of him I’ve gathered in Shatterpoint).
He’s an amazing Master though, and she knows that he cares in his own Emotionally Repressed Jedi ways. He’s tried to find information about her people so she could still connect to her culture, though so little is known about Kesh and the Keshiri, that he never came up with anything.
And when it comes to emotions, Chess always ran into Depa Billaba, who had yet to take on her own Padawan, who hadn’t dealt with the horrors of Haruun Kal. Depa gave her a support in someone who related to her doubts of being good enough for Mace, and helped her navigate his many different expressions of apathy to find his true feelings.
Both of Chess’s sabers are purple, because it’s the color she’d worn on her skin with pride, even when no one knew what she was, when jeers about her background would follow on various missions, every time she ignited her blade to train with mace, purple against purple as they moved through the forms, it was just right, it’s what the force wanted. He helped her design the saber she’d had in her mind, just like he had his own, and every time she went to upgrade it or replace a damaged piece, he was there to help her and sometimes crack horrible, too serious jokes about what would happen if she forgot a certain piece. “Remember to put your crystal back in,” “Uhg, Master-“ “I’m only joking, I know you’ll remember, because I reminded you,” she is also horrible when it comes to Vapaad, both the lightsaber form and the state of mind, but she’s tried often, with both Depa and Mace to guide her. She’s no where near as proficient as them, and prefers the sixth form, with a tendency to slip back into the fifth form when cornered.
Chess passes her trials merely weeks before the first battle of Geonosis, so when they called for Jedi to load on transports and drop down into that arena, she was there. (22BBY)
When they were all cornered, she’d been in the fray, and when the fighting started back up, and she’d thrown herself at a Super Battle Droid, had melted a chunk of his rocket arm away right as he was going to launch, it had exploded in his arm. She was thrown back, to the now more already out ring of Jedi, Clone Troopers and droids battling it out in the dust.
Hot metal had torn through her, from the very bottom of her jaw on her right side, and had curled up to the bottom of her ear. Another piece had cut through starting at the bottom of her neck, arching up and slicing a good path into her neck before it had exited. Her shoulders and chest also suffered a great deal of damage, but none as life threatening as her neck.
She’d been lucky enough to fall back into Mace and Depa, had been lucky enough for him to pinch sliced arteries closed until the transport ships could start dropping. She was one of the first shuttled back to a newly minted light cruiser, and when she woke up, the Clone Wars had begun, she was a General in a war with an entire battalion of clones waiting for her to lead them, and then everything changed.
Tumblr media
Now here comes some rapid-fire random garbage that I’m also copy-pasting from the notes I made about her, so if any of it is repeated from the blurbs I’ve just excited hyperfocus typed,,,,
•The droid piece they pulled from her body was melted down and adjusted to become the new emitter for her sabers, and she absolutely has red paint sprinkled on it so she can tell people it’s her blood.
•The 141st Battalion, the group of soldiers she was put in command of was an elite force, one of the smallest battalion sized units and broken up into three companies, with squads forming from each platoon. The group that she finds herself fighting alongside more often is Cresh, though they started to call themselves the Kesh squad after her.
•her clone commander is CC-6116, also known as Buzz, and he’s one of the strongest attachments she’s ever formed, they go hand in hand in every aspect , and are almost never apart.
•the first time Chess struggled with the dark side, it had been at Buzz’s words, while they were pinned down behind enemy lines and waiting for the other squads to form up on their position. “ you’re a Jedi, you can’t be replaced so easily, we’re just clones, we don’t matter.” Chess had shoved her hand into the lip of the armor covering his chest, had yanked him close enough that he had to meet her gaze because there was no where else to look, and she felt how easy it would be, to Fall. Because the Dark could help her free them. Maybe she could win the war if she just took that step off the edge. But she just stared at him for a moment, before she yanked him closer, before she could wrap her arms around him tight with his armor freaking at the pressure and. “Not to me, never to me,”
•the 141st paints their armor in varying degrees of purple and red in honor of their general. She forms a reputation for keeping her face hidden with her hoods, most times, by the time her enemy gets to see the red of her eyes, they’re already fading into the force. When the boys find out that her eyes are red, they started painting strips of their armor in the same color. (I’m going to post a very rough pic of the armor, that I smashed color over at 0300 at work, but the idea is so much better than this picture)
Tumblr media
•At great personal risk, she single handedly keeps her casualty rate low, running all across the battlefield and doing what she can to protect her men. She can't save everyone however, and she mourns each loss with her soldiers too, but she's never allowed it to cloud her judgement, not since she looked into Buzz's eyes and promised him they meant everything to her. The nights she'd spent on the lines with her men was enough to remind her that the dark side wasn't going to free any of them, that the only way they'd win is if they stayed together and trusted each other.
•she has her own lightsaber ignition move. It’s trademarked, she’ll fistfight anyone who uses it But I have such a hard time explaining it: so she’ll hold out her right hand, flip the hilt up with two fingers, catch it in her palm with her finger on the ignition switch, while her arm is out parallel to the ground, the second she catches it she’ll ignite so the blade is pointed right out at her opponent, after that’s ignited, she’ll ignite her shoto in a backwards grip so it’s against the length of her arm.
•The clones give her her very first tattoo, just an outline of their helmets on her chest (keshiri females , as I'm interpreting it from jedi battle scars, don't have boobs), the scars along her chest form near perfect dark purple markings along the helmet, which eventually gets adopted as Buzz's helmet markings.
Grevious: "another lightsaber for my collection!!"
Chess: "another scar for my collection! chicks dig scars!"
To her, the force feels almost like the kind of anxiety that has you buzzing out of your skin, she can feel it around her, but instead of the fear or any other feeling associated with anxiety, it becomes a source of comfort, since it's been there all her life, however, this also means that she's always active, moving in some way, shape, or form, and her hands are almost always shaking unless she's using the force or holding her saber (thanks to her connection to the Kyber within).
That's all i have for her now, just her time in the clone wars, but she grows every single day, and I've decided that she does survive the purge, though only a small amount of soldiers were able to be saved from the chip, she still cherishes the small squad that helped her survive.
And, I'd just like to say again, asdfghjkl thank you so much for asking about her because she is literally everything to me. I also have a whole Mandalorian AU for her that's only half formed, and a HUGE time-travel fix-it fic self insert in the works right now, as well as the rest of the prompts for jedi june 2023
thank you for coming to my hot purple lady ramble
