Yetis to the rescue

After becoming a halfa Danny didn't realize how much he needed a medical checkup until he went to see Frostbite. It turns out that being a hybrid of two species leaves you vulnerable to both types of diseases.

Frostbite was shocked when Danny commented that he didn't have any of the ghost vaccines, but in his defense how was he supposed know that it was a necessity and that ghosts could get sick? Nobody informed him!

Despite following all medical advice and undergoing the process of multiple vaccinations in the same day; months later Danny was infected by a case of Ghost flu, this kind of flu was a little different: in ghosts it just destabilized their ectoplasm, but in his half normal human body it was causing a severe pulmonary obstructive reaction, he was just lucky he didn't need to breath.

Danny was severely ill for a couple of days, and without noticing it, the Ghost flu mutated inside his body; when he finally recovered by becoming immune, the entire city was infected with a severe case of flu, a very intense flu that sent people to the hospital and was extremely difficult to detect.

At first Danny was confused when Frostbite told him that the signs the Amity Parkers were showing was a Ghost flu infection because, wasn't it supposed to be a ghost disease? Frostbite explained worriedly that sometimes virus could evolve to infect other organisms if they have the chance.

At the end Danny and Frostbite had to do an emergency quarantine in Amity before the virus mutated from affecting liminals to becoming compatible with humans, while the Amity Parkers were reluctant to accept help at first, they realized their liminal status along with the small amount of ectoplasm they hold inside their body could save them with the help of a Yeti from Far Frozen.

When Danny heard reports of a concerned Amity Parker about an infection starting in Gotham he realized it might be too late, maybe it was time to unleash the Ghost yetis medic squad.

On the other side, Red Hood had been sick for a couple of days with an extremely persistent flu, to the point where he swore to hallucinate a Yeti outside his door.

Bruce dies.

An unknow threat attack the JL and take the life of the dark knight

All the bats are devasted, this time it wasn't that Bruce dissapear and most likely dead

This time he died. They have the body, they buried the body and did the funeral.

Batman is dead. Their Dad is dead.

The months pass, Dick take the mantle od Batman again but this time he conserve both robins at his side, Red hood is out of control and is only see in the cementery, Robin is more violent than ever, Red Robin only appear to work, Black bat dissapear and Oracle only contact to work.

The JL call a reunion after get in contact with a ghost who call himself Fright Knight, which said that the Ghost King request a meeting with the heroes.

The bats go as expected, an unknow entity with a unknow power is not something they can pass up, not again

The meeting goes well, they agree other meeting to discuss the latest details when-

RING RING RING RING!!

"Shit, I'm sorry, my dad is kind of paranoid and stress when I don't call respond his messages", the teen king said as he take his phone, and go to a corner before answer the call, the batkids send him an understanding look.

"Hi dad" "Yes, I'm okay." " Sorry for nor answer" " Yes, I'll tell you how it all went later" "I love you too, bye" and then the king end the call, the JL give him strange looks

"What's up? Do I have something in my face?", the halfa asked

The heroes look at each other and then Flash respond "No, its just.. we didn't expect that the ruler of dead to have a dad"

"Oh", the understanding came to the face of the halfa," yeah, I didn't expect to get a new dad either, not after mine tries to disect me" the heroes look at the king horrified as the king keep talking, "but then a new ghost just pop of nowhere and begin to help me with the paperwork, train the news, deal with the council, give me advice and support when I needed... that before I realized get a dad, heh heh" the ghost king said, the ambient grow warmer and the king prepared to leave.

A green portal opened and the King was going to step trought the portal-

"Wait!" Someone yell, and the halfa turn his eyes back "what's your dad name??" Asked curiousily

The king smile and said "Bruce"

And then he was gone

My problem with religious!Jason headcanons is that people automatically assume it’d be a typical Catholic guilt/looking for atonement type narrative and not this:

All of these headcanons I see about Jason in regards to Tim feeling “guilty” and treating him “carefully” and “gently” and “being wary around him” and “trying to make up for it” …. That is Not Jason Todd. As far as Jason is concerned, he did what he did and Tim shouldn’t have gotten in his way. In Jason’s mind, the way he sees it it’s at most regrettable that it had to be done, but he doesn’t actually regret anything. Besides which, even when they’re on better terms, treating Tim like an easily spooked baby animal while self-flagellating himself just isn’t Jason Todd at all?? Jason is shoving Tim off a roof when Tim annoys him (he’s fine, dw about it)

Nothing against every other kid that Jason took care of at one point, but in terms of personality and powers, Caden AKA Vessel is definitely my favorite and the one I think would be the most interesting if he was brought back as Jason's permanent sidekick.

The rest were fine, but I thought it was really tiring how there was so much emphasize on them being victims and Jason wanting to take care of them out of pity. Caden on the other hand was confident, smart and capable while also having childish tendencies such wanting approval from Red Hood and other adults that in my opinion will make him perfect to be Jason's partner as well as his adopted.

#plus he's an android like how cool is that?#it will help Jason not feel guilty about putting a kid in dangerous situations #now granted his storyline came out of nowhere and ended so fast #so it left me confused and wanting more #but last time I checked he was living in that orphanage with nothing to do #so bring him back for a storyline and let him form a bond with Jason that will end with him being adopted #Jason Todd

AK!Jason and main timeline Jason origin mashup.

Jason gets kidnapped together with Sheila by the Joker, they're on the building that used to be the Arkham Asylum and the Joker produces a bunch of tapes torturing and tormenting Jason, to send to Batman. He "kills" Jason as one big prank and Bruce believes it, he becomes more careless and aggressive, things are shitty all around.

Tim ends up being Robin, but Jason is still alive. A new Robin ruins the Joker's fun, what's the benefit of having the old model after it has already been broken and beaten? When the newest edition just debuted. So he decides to attract the Batman and let his luck decide, would he be able to arrive on time and save Robin II? Or would he let him actually die this time?

He has Sheila get Jason cleaned up, looking nice for a last video, make her useful before he kills her.

Joker sends it to Batman, but he doesn't want to believe it. It's been six months since the Joker sent Jason's death tape – with one of his son's eyes to boot–, he doesn't want to go after the warehouse and have Joker take advantage of his absence to attack another part of town, worse yet, get his hands on the new Robin.

He ends up going, after Tim contacts Nightwing and he convinces Bruce of going just for peace of mind and promises to keep an eye on Robin. Batman thinks it's a trap, but he goes anyway. The old Arkham Asylum ends blowing up just moments before he arrives, just in time to Bruce to dig his son up from under the ruble, just in time to have his son give his last breath on his arms.

Braiding Kory's hair is an Olympic sport and Jason has the gold medal for it

Kory talking everyone about Jason being her best friend; She's like, " sweetest, most caring human I've come across. He is friendly and we bump foreheads a lot" then shows off pictures

And boom, the scariest bastard you've ever seen . "He enjoys cuddling kittens, and watching animated movies with me :D"

Jason ranting about books and literature and Kory INTENTLY listening to every word while sipping sweet mustard; She loves trashy romance novels written by 30 something women who hate their marriage, and Jason's like " your taste is fucking dreadful" but he secretly enjoys it

Kory also LOVES cartoons and Jason makes fun of her for it ruthlessly (or as ruthless as he can get with her) but guess who steals Bruce's credit card and buys her merch????

Angst, you say?

Jason came out of a daze to the sound of broken glass.

Why was he in Tim’s room? He remembers getting up to look in the kitchen. Nothing was appealing at the moment but he was hungry and Dr. Leslie mentioned he was a little below weight.

He was looking and nothing was appealing but then he felt a pull and-

“Jason, what the fuck.”

Tim looked disheveled, clearly back from his patrol.

Why was he freaking out? Sure, Tim finding him here was strange but-

Jason was suddenly aware of something papery in his mouth.

“Wha-?”

“Jason why?”

Tim looked like he had shot him, and as Jason looked around him he realized that he may as well.

Around him laid a shredded old box.

Tim’s old photo box.

He remembers when he was first reached out to his family again after the mess of reintroduction.

The olive branch Tim held out to him. The night they sat in the lounge as Tim shyly showed him the years of photos. They were up until dawn reminiscing. It was the first time he started to think of the two of them as brothers.

They weren’t all ruined but quite a few had obvious teeth marks and tears.

Shit.

“I-I don’t- fuck! Baby bird I’m so sorry. I don’t even remember..”

Jason raised a frustrated palm to his eyes at tears started to pool.

Fuck, Tim was shutting down.

“It’s- it’s fine, I was in the middle of digitizing the photos anyways. Never know what will happen, you know?”

Jason removed the photo from his mouth and tried to flatten it out what was left. It was one of the one’d around his debut as Robin, sitting on a gargoyle under a moonlit sky.

Jason gently got off his knees with a wobble before he gently took his brother into his arms.

“I-I already got most of them taken care of.. It’s fine.. you didn’t- the baby been doing a lot of strange things to you. You nearly bit a batarang last week- it’s not- something like this was bound to happen and-“

Tim made a keening he folded himself into Jason’s side.

Looking around at the carnage as Jason tried his best to comfort his brother as he wailed.

“This shouldn’t’ve happened. I’m so sorry. I don’t know what came over me.”

He muttered as he rubbed up and down Tim’s back.

“Okay… Okay.. How about we go downstairs huh? We can go downstairs, and I’ll make us some hot chocolate ‘n’ we can put on one of those shitty b-rated horror movies we love to roast.”

Avoiding what Jason could only assume was a cup of coffee on the floor, he closed the door and gently guided his little brother down the hall.

You know those ABO AU fics where Jason and the Bats are either still at odds, or they've reconciled to a certain degree but still hold each other at arms length? But then they unwittingly stumble across the fact that Jason is an Omega, and basically kidnap him back home and suddenly everything is sunshine and daisies?

I need like, an entire rec of fics where that very adamantly does not happen.

I need fics where Jason is unable to reconcile their sudden acceptance with the sorry state of their relationship before they found out, and their absolute lack of effort to fix it beforehand.

But most importantly, I need fics where he simply cannot stomach to have Bruce at his throat after he literally cut it open.
