When a tired heart starts beating again, gravity itself has to rearrange to make space for it. But old wounds ask for closure before unspoken feelings can bloom, so all the pieces of shattered hearts can fit together.

He’s never been crazy about holiday events. It’s his first Christmas back in Beacon Hills (again) after three years of traveling…and well, Derek doesn’t know what to expect. Except he finds the Pack in his loft when he returns from a late morning run. His breath hitches as he takes everything in. Stockings. Paper snowflake garlands. A tree decorated with colored lights and handmade ornaments from past to present. And so many wrapped gifts. It’s like a snapshot from his childhood—winter with a pack. Happiness. Home. It’s the most wonderful time of the year once again folks and you know what that means! SECRET SANTA IS BACK IN BUSINESS! This is my favorite tradition in the roleplay community and I’m so excited to be bringing it back! (Especially since I completely missed the mark last year and we weren’t able to do it…😔💔) It’s a great event that allows us to spread positivity and get to know each other better as writers and rpers over the course of December and then on Christmas day we all exchange gifts! It’s a great time every year and I hope we’ll see some new faces joining us this year!

The rules will be the same as they are every year but for any newcomers the rules will be listed below!

1. Any participating blogs must be active and must be an RP account. No personal blogs allowed, sorry. 2. You must have an accessible inbox with ANON enabled. This is crucial to the event! You have to have anon on so your Santa can leave you messages without spoiling the surprise! 3. Secrecy is crucial! NO ONE is to know who’s name and or URL you received. Tell no one! Don’t tell your friends, your parents, your siblings…don’t even tell your priest! 4. The list will be distributed by a third party since I am also participating. That being said, I will be just as ignorant of your Santa as you are! You will be assigned a blog via inbox message. When you’ve been given a name please DO NOT respond to the message! Commit it to memory and then DM my blog so I can confirm the participants! 5. You will have two tasks for this event and one will take place over the course of the entire month of December (or at least up until December 25th!) As a Santa it’s your duty to be an anonymous angel! Go to your assigned blog and leave them a nice message, tell them how much you enjoy their portrayals or ask them questions about their characters, their writing, etc! This is a daily task which is why blogs must be active to participate! Your assigned blog should be getting at least one message a day from you, their Santa! (Please don’t leave any ‘hints’ in your messages for them to guess who you are!) The second task will be your Christmas gift of course! Your gift can be anything! Fanart, drabbles, edits, promos, playlists, gifsets, anything you can think up! Get as creative as you can! You’ll have 25 days to craft your presents!

Diavolo x Fem!Reader - 46. "Santa will bring you coal!"

"Santa will bring you coal!"

You squeaked, rushing around Diavolo's desk as he chased you, nipping at your heels. Nervous giggles, (perhaps also slightly mischievous), escaped your lips as you ran for your life.

"No, beautiful," he said with a terrifying calm and a dangerous, but attractive smirk on his lips. "Santa will bring you coal for hiding things from me!"

You knew perfectly well that Diavolo could catch you even before you started running, but you also knew that he loved this. Being playful was something he had never enjoyed before you showed up in his life and he took every possible moment to play with you like this.

And so, when he found you snooping around his office in a very strange and suspicious manner, and you refused to tell him what you were doing, he immediately started chasing you, saying that, when he caught you, you would tell your mysterious little secret immediately.

Thinking that you would have a chance, (silly of you), you rushed to his office door hoping to escape, but even before you were a meter away from the door, Diavolo's hands grabbed you by the waist, stopping you completely.

"Gotcha!"

"Di-Diavolo, wait! I can explain, I c-cahahan explahahain! No! Nohohot tihihickling!"

His hands immediately started to squeeze your waist rapidly, causing a string of uncontrollable giggles to overpower you enough to have your knees giving up on you, your body slowly falling to the floor.

"Where are you going, my love?" He teased playfully as he followed you down as you tried to curl on yourself, but Diavolo was holding you right, and in seconds, you found yourself face first against the wooden floor as he squeezed up and down your sides.

"I'm sohohorry! I'm sohohorry!" You said, trying to push his hands away but to no avail.

"I do forgive you," Diavolo said, grinning and giggling himself as he moved his hands higher towards your ribs and your laughter increased in volume. "But I want to know what were you looking for around here."

You shook your head, desperately pressing your arms to your sides to stop Diavolo's fingers from wiggling at your ribs and from crawling higher towards your underarms.

"I wahahasn't lohohooking fohohor sohomenthihing- Gahahaha! It tihihickles!" You laughed, kicking your legs and feeling tears of laughter accumulating in your eyes already.

"Then what were you up to, princess? Mind to share your secret with me?"

To think he'd hurt you and bruise you the first times he tried to tickle you, but now his touch was light and so tremendously ticklish. He'd also blush out of his mind when he tried to tease you, but, thanks to all his practicing, (yes, on you), it was so easy for him to just drive you crazy with laughter whenever he wanted to.

You knew he would do exactly that if you didn't confess what were you doing in his office, but if you told him, then it would-

"AHAHAHA! N-Nohoho! Not thehehere!" You begged, shrieking when you suddenly felt one of your arms being raised above your head, his fingers quickly nestling under your arm, wiggling and digging into your sensitive spot.

You kicked and tried to crawl away with your free arm, but your brain could only focus on how ticklish his touch was.

"Not here? Do you also have a secret under your arm?" Your cheeks flushed brightly at his teasing and he laughed. "That makes it two secrets that you refuse to make, my love. If it's gonna be like that, I see myself forced to try and get them out without your help."

You could barely hear his voice over your hysterical laughter; he pinched, poked, wiggled and prodded against your exposed armpit, determinated to get you to spill your secrets and it was a matter of time before you did so.

"Could it be that you also have another secret under your other arm~?"

You shrieked with laughter, shaking your head. "I'll tehehehell you! I'll tehehehell yohohou!" You said, pulling at your arm. "Juhuhuhust not thehehere, meheheanie!"

He laughed his boisterous laugh and stopped his tickling, letting go of your arm and quickly swiping you in his arms, making you squeak in surprise as he carried you bridal style to the large sofa in his office.

"I'm all ears," he said, sitting down with you on his lap.

Your cheeks felt terribly warm and your breathing was still slightly erratic. There was no way out now, so nibbling on your lower lip, you reached between the cushions beside him. Diavolo looked at you curiously as you pulled out a little box wrapped in cute Christmas paper and a little bow on it.

"Is it Christmas already?"

You giggled sheepishly, "It is not. I... I planned to hide little gifts around your office until Christmas day," you explained, fidgeting with the little box between your hands. "Something like an advent calendar kind of... th-thing?"

You gasped softly when Diavolo suddenly held your chin between his fingers and made you look at him. You could see his eyes were bright with happiness and excitement before be leaned in to capture your lips in a tender kiss.

"The happiness you make me feel... I can barely describe it with words," he said softly after he pulled apart and you smiled fondly, wrapping your arms around his neck to kiss him again.

"Then," you said breathlessly after pulling apart one more time, "am I allowed to carry out my plan?"

Diavolo giggled, his cheeks tinting pink, "You're allowed to do as you wish, I honestly only wanted to hear your laugh," he admitted and you gasped, your hands finding his ribs, surprising him enough to squeak loudly before he broke into sweet, loud laughter.

"Wahahahait!"

You grinned, kissing the corner of his smiling mouth. "No waiting for you. You said I could do whatever I want and now I really want to hear you laugh."

Cue accidental bumping into Dr Chiba, who might just feel why this is so important to her.

Mamoru learned from a young age to not let anyone know about his ability to know things through touch, having gotten burnt on more than one occasion, leaving him in a dark place. Maybe there is hope for him after meeting a blonde girl and "seeing" things he never knew were possible.

The Space Between: Chapter 13: Heal - @uglygreenjacket

With Usagi bailing on their date last minute because she is "sick", Mamoru tries to cheer her up the only way he knows how - with flowers and soup. I honestly wish everyone had a Mamoru around to help with cramps.

This drabble collection walks us through all the events that made Anime-inspired Mamoru who he was, with an addition of psychometry - both the ability to feel through touch and ability to heal.

Little Moments: Chapter 1: Helpless - @floraone

Having gotten hurt in battle and an ugly bruise preventing her from doing something as routine as putting up her hair, Usagi begrudgingly heads to Mamoru's for assistance.
