Affection in friendships aren’t always the same. Some friends hugged, some friends rarely talked yet maintained a healthy friendship, some friends even showed the smallest bit of intimacy due to their comfortability.

You and Spencer were just a tad different. You two would cuddle, share brief pecks on the lips, as well as sometimes shower together whenever you were in a rush on a case and got a brief break.

It wasn’t anything inherently romantic or sexual, just something that came easy. The team was highly convinced you both had a secret relationship. Which was fair enough, however no matter how many explanations, they never seemed to be enough.

Tonight the team was having a small watch party for a new show at Penelope’s apartment. She’d been so desperate for the team to have something like a show they watched together, or special games to play together. Nobody could really say no.

You had arrived with a handful of snacks just an hour prior, helping one of your favorite coworkers set up her apartment for the night ahead. As expected, it turned from you helping to the bubbly blonde interrogating you over the aspect of a potential relationship.

“We aren’t dating, Pen.” Your head shook as you were filling a bowl with pretzels, taking it to the table in order to place it in the available space surrounded by other snacks. “I saw you guys kiss before you left the office yesterday! What kind of friends kiss each other on the lips?? If this is normal, we need to make Derek aware because I am missing out.” Penelope huffed out of frustration. “Mark my words, I will get to the bottom of this. When I find out that you are secretly dating, I will bring all of the hurt!” The blonde held up her fist while narrowing her eyes in your direction.

By the grace of all things holy, it wasn’t long until the team had slowly begun to show up. There were no more interrogations, not yet anyway. As everyone was piling up on the couch, there was very limited room for you as you walked out of the kitchen. “Fuck.” You groaned, arms crossed. “I am not sitting on the floor!”

“You can sit with me.” Spencer spoke up from his spot at the far end of the couch, his shoulders shrugging as his hand patted his thighs to offer you the spot in his lap. “Come on! This is a family friendly show! None of that.” Emily groaned, which had you rolling your eyes as you were heading over to sit yourself on your best friend’s lap.

“It’s not a big deal.” You protested her dramatics while your body was leaning into Spencer’s chest, your body snuggling closer to his as the show began at its scheduled time. However instead of enjoying the programme, you were too busy ignoring all the curious stares from your friends. “Come on!” You huffed while pushing yourself to sit up. “What is the big deal? You’re all staring like we are animals in a zoo.” In all honesty, you were annoyed with the way people stared. You were friends, doing platonic things.

“Look. Kid, I hate to say it but you two are definitely a little too close for what friends should be. What kind of friends do you know that kiss each other? And yes, I know, they are pecks. I’m just saying.” Derek put his hands up as he broke the silence.

“It’s not a crime to have a crush on one another or to date one another.” JJ added soon after while letting her shoulders shrug. “We aren’t dating though.” Spencer confirmed everything you’ve been preaching while looking at the group in confusion. “Spencer, you haven’t eaten any snacks tonight because all of our hands have been in the bowl. It makes no sense to me that you’d kiss her considering the mouth has like a bajillion germs.” Penelope added.

“Well, the mouth has over a billion different germs and we don’t know the exact amount.” He corrected as he looked up at you for help. “I assumed we were normal?” He spoke up while you nodded in agreement. “I thought we were, too.” You huffed while leaning against his chest.

“It’s not even the hugging, kissing, and lap sitting. You guys just look so head over heels from an outside perspective. I mean, you hang out together all the time, you always room together, plus you guys go out on dates. You may not look at it that way but come on. You are both profilers. How do you not pick up on how you feel about one another?” Emily asked while frowning softly.

The more they were talking and giving actual points, the more you were thinking over the course of your friendship with Spencer. You’d always been close, even after your first initial meeting when you joined the team. You could remember how shocked the team was because the typically quiet and socially awkward genius was the first one to welcome you. You’d managed to become close friends over the course of two weeks. The first time Spencer even hugged you was after a case where he’d been put in harm's way. He came to you for comfort. You.

The first time you started your pecks on the lips, it was due to a complete accident when you tried to kiss his cheek but his head turned to face you. It just seemed.. Right. No matter how flustered you both were or how you felt butterflies in your belly, you just dismissed it. You being lost in thought was concerning enough for Spencer. “Hey. Do you wanna step outside?” His voice pulled you out of your thoughts, your head nodding. “Yeah, please head out with me.”

He helped you to your feet before his hand was gently holding yours, leading you out of the room.

“How much do you wanna bet that they are gonna actually kiss out there?” Aaron spoke up after being silent a majority of the night, the team turning to the unit chief who normally wouldn’t have inserted himself. “I’ll take those odds,” Derek smirked while getting his wallet.

Out in the hallway, you had your arms crossed as you looked away from Spencer. “I know that we are best friends and I promise you’ve done absolutely nothing wrong. I just really want you to tell me one thing,” You spoke while turning your head back to face him. “Did you ever, at any point, have feelings for me? Be honest.”

The words had Spencer’s face bright red, his hand nervously rubbing the back of his neck. “I mean, I’ve always thought you were amazing.” He spoke while offering a shy smile. “I just didn’t want things to get weird. I like our friendship and the relationship that we have isn’t something that could be ruined. Dating friends can get messy and.. I don’t wanna live a life without you in it. I can’t even fathom a reality where you aren’t here.” He responded.

“So you did?”

“Y-yeah. I just didn’t want-”

Your hands were gripping his upper arms while you were gently shaking him. “Why didn’t you say anything?!” You asked while staring at him with wide eyes. “I’ve always been fond of you!” You added, his surprised look making you laugh softly. “God. How are we profilers?”

“You know, I’m not so sure. I think we are rusty.” Spencer responded, a little chuckle leaving his lips. “So.. Is there a chance? You know.. Us?” He asked softly while you nodded. “I do think there’s a good chance.” You responded while Spencer sighed in relief. “So it won’t be weird if I do this.”

“Do what?”

His hands were gently cupping your cheeks, taking every opportunity to press his lips against yours, much different than you were both used to but it carried the same feeling as all the little pecks have all this time. It was right. Like you were meant to be together.

“I’m pretty sure they are running bets. Do we tell them we kissed or pretend like nothing happened?”

“I want Derek to lose his money in that scenario, so let’s not tell them yet.” Spencer chuckled.

He gives the most obvious side eyes ever, You sometimes have to call him out because they are too obvious and he could get in trouble

He will get out of bed quietly when he can't sleep, take his guitar and get out of the bedroom then start playing music loudly

He makes a lot of sarcastic jokes

Will ask you for help when planning his next campaign, and will let you co-lead said campaign as you have also helped

He has this weird obsession with your ass where he will try to grab and squeeze whenever he can (consensual of course)

Contrary to popular belief I don't think that Eddie doesn't care about his hair, I think he does and that those curls aren't as wild as they seem, he makes them look that way, If he didn't then his hair would look even more wild.

When he gets bored he likes to draw on your arms with a marker (erasable).

He always ends up with random scratches, he never knows how but it happens, Sometimes you have to take care of those scratches.

He likes to cuddle with you, and NEEDS to cuddle with you, The poor boy is touch-starved but at the same time, when you touch him too much he can get overstimulated, so he'll tell you when it's enough

All the dice and little figures he has are because he finds them in the floor or somewhere, repaints, and heeps them, he has gifted you so many dice that you now have them all in a jar.

You gifted him a Polaroid camera, and you still don't know if it was a good or bad idea, he will pull that camera whenever he can and take the most horrible pictures of you, like sleeping or similar.

Has struggled with eating disorders in the past, you try to keep an eye on him and make sure that he's eating well but at the same time try not to force him so it doesn't feel like an obligation.

- Okay, so, generally we tend to think of Eddie as this metal guy and so badass, but tbh I see him as the guy that would crouch down and tie your shoelaces if you ask him to or if he sees that they are untied because he doesn't want you to get hurt. Or, if he's in more of a goofy mood he will crouch down and tie your shoelaces together so that you fall, and he obviously has a laughing fit before even thinking of helping you but then he asks you if you're okay and kisses you.

- He's the kind that will surprise you with gifts, those are usually things that you've said you wanted but didn't get because they were too expensive. He's very attentive of your especial interests and wants to get you something with meaning

He gives you his jacket whenever it's cold

He likes to stay in and watch movies and cuddle

Tries his best to comfort you

Likes to play around in the rain with you, you both usually get soaking wet in the rain and end up covered in mud.

When it rains or he just took a shower and his hair is all wet he likes to shake his hair and soak you, he thinks its extremely fun

After spending so much time together he starts picking up your gestures, habits, and tics even without noticing. But if you pick up one of his habits/tics, like sticking out your tongue when concentrated, he notices it and teases you about it

if he sits behind you in class, he will spend it kicking your chair to get your attention

he loves making you laugh at his silly jokes

Sneaks through your window whenever he wants, he's hungry? you better have something to eat. Can't sleep? You're gonna be his personal teddy bear. Needs to talk? Now you have a career in psychology, congratulations. Better listen to him when he gets there or he's gonna be throwing rocks at your window all night/day

Reads his favorite books aloud for you to fall asleep. He LOVES when you fall asleep with him near you because it shows how comfortable and safe you feel around him.

He would take you to go fishing. Even if you don’t know how, he will teach you.

He would take you to a place full of flowers, animals, just a lovely and peaceful place. So you guys can have deep convos and cuddle.

“So I just need to,” I say while trying to catch a fish. “Yeah and keep your hand like this, steady.” He says correcting my hand. “Just like that. Then you can shoot.”

“Okay,” I focus on one fish. I calm myself and shot the arrow. “Y/n! You did it, seysonìltsan!” Neteyam says while smiling at my success. I smile back at him, and go get the fish. “Look, its a big one.” I says happily.

“Tonight’s dinner is from you. Proud of ya” he says. I hit his forearm while laughing.

“Come on let’s go back to the hut.” I say. As we are walking Neteyam stops infront of some flowers. He picks one and gets infront of me. “You know these flowers represent tìyawn, right?” He places the flower on one of my braids. “I know you’ve told that to me like 10 times. Every time we walk by them.” I hug him by the shoulders, he hugs me from my waist. I look into his eyes, that are full of love. I lean to kiss his cheek. He smiles, “Come on, give me a real kiss.” I giggle at his cuteness. We both lean in, and finally our lips connect. I swear this boy’s lips are so soft.

After a good minute of making out in the middle of the forest. “It’s getting late, I think we should really get going.” I say. “Yep, you’re right.” He agrees.

He walks infront of me and a pick a flower, the one that represents love. “Hey Neteyam.” He looks at me and I tug the flower between his braids. He looks shocked. “And now we can match.” I say kissing his cheek. I smile at him and he returns the smile back. “Come on.” We hold hands all the way back to the hut.

He would give you necklaces, bracelets basically jewelrys he makes himself only for you.

And he would make matching bracelets for the two of you.

“Neteyam, Where are you?” I search for him in the Sully’s hut. “Over here.” I hear from the other room. I go inside to see him working with something. “What are you working on?” I ask, trying to understand what he is doing. “Bracelets.” He simply answers. I still look confused. “Bracelets for just me and my girl.” Ahh, now I understand, he’s making bracelets for me and him.

“We don’t have any matching things, so I decided to make us bracelets. I’m sure you’ll love it.” He says. “Well, that would be lovely, and cute.” I smile. Watching him tying the ends.

He finally finishes doing the bracelets, he gets close to me and “Choose one. I mean they’re obviously the same but,” he laughs “just choose one.” He looks at me while I choose the right one. He takes it and ties it to my wrist. It really looks pretty. This boy is really talented.

“Neteyam, It is really pretty. Thank you.” I say and give him a peck on the lips. “Your welcome love, Can you?” He gives me his bracelet, I take it and tie it to his wrist. Being careful not to tie it to much to hurt him.

Then we bring our wrist next to each other. After admiring our bracelets, I jump onto him to hug him really tight. I kiss him all over his face, then finally his soft lips. I look into his eyes, “I love you ma Neteyam.” “And I love you ma Y/n.” We both smile and he leans in for a long kiss. After we pull away, I put my head on his chest, his arm goes around my waist and we just fall asleep just like that.

Lo’ak

He loves to stargaze, at first he found himself staring at those beautiful stars. Then he started to take you to stargazing with him.

Sometimes you’d sit on the edge of the sea, sometimes laying on the back of Payakan.

It really doesn’t matter where you guys are. As long as you are together, you will have a peaceful time.

I was staring at the ceiling wondering when I will fall asleep. Lo'ak was sleeping so close to me, his head almost on my chest. I know I shouldn't wake him up but, it looks like I'm not gonna get any sleep and its starting to get boring. I shake him a little bit from him forearm, I whisper his name twice anf he finally starts to open his eyes.

"What, you ok yawne?" He whispers with his sleepy voice. He looks a little bit worried, I mean he is right its middle of the night and I just woke him up. “Sorry, I couldn’t sleep.” I say softly. “You wanna go and watch the stars with me?” He asks, “I’d never say no to stargazing with you.” I say as we start to get up.

We get out of the pot, being careful not to wake anyone up. We finally reach the sea and Lo’ak calls for his ilu. He gets on his ilu “Come on,” he offers me his hand. I get on behind him and secure my hands on his waist. “Where are we going exactly?” I ask, putting my head on his shoulder. “To see Payakan.” He smiles. I kiss his cheek and we swim to Payakan.

“Payakan! Where are you bro?” Lo’ak shouts. I sense a movement in the water behind us. “Lo’ak,” I get his attention to me and show him the movement. Payakan comes next to us, telling us hi with his singing voice. “Hey Payakan.” I greet him with a sweet voice. Lo’ak does the same.

We get out of the ilu to get on Payakan. We sit on his back, talk to him a little bit. Then we lay down on his back looking at the stars. “Are you comfortable, my tanhì?” He looks at me, “Yeah,” I hum in ease. I get close to him, I put my head on his chest and he hugs me from my waist.

“Show me again.” I say, “Ok so, that is the star that my dad came from, Earth. And that is, if I’m not wrong, is Saturn. The one that has rings around it.” He explains. I am amazed by his interest in stars and planets. “Lor.” I say, “Hmm, you are.” He says looking down at me. He leans in and gives me a long kiss on the lips. We hug eachother tight, and watch the stars until sun rises.

He’d give you crystals or pretty things that reminds him of you.

He’d find these cool rocks or crystals he finds while he’s on a mission with his brother and father.

I cut some Yovo Fruits while waiting for the Sully boys to come from a partol around the forest. After about 10 minutes, I hear their voices outside the hut. They get inside, I put the fruits into a bowl. “How was your patrol?” I ask them. “Good, except Lo’ak was always talking about you.” Neteyam says. “What?! No I didn’t.” Lo’ak objects, Neteyam and I laugh at his actions. “But, I collected some cool things for you. Come on, I wanna show them to you.” He holds my hand and leads me to another room.

“Um, I saw this between two flowers, it looked shiny, so I got it for you.” He gives me a crystal that looks deep purple. “It’s an amethyst I think.” I say. He smiles and “And this is a normal reddish rock but I think we can make matching beads with it.” I smile at his idea, he always wanted matching things after all.

“And lastly, I’ve got this cute little green crystal. You can make yourself a necklace with it.” He gives it to me, I look at it the little crystal with love. “Thank you. Really Lo’ak.” I say softly. “Its nothing Syulang.” He kisses my forehead. I hug him really tight as a response. He hugs me back, I pull away a little bit to kiss him all over his face. He laughs at my actions.

“Come on, I’ve cut some fruits. And I’m really hungry.” I say while getting up. “Tell me there are Yovo Fruits.” He says behind me. Yovo’s are his favorites. “Yes, they are. I thought you’d want some today.” I laugh. “You know me really well yawne.”

Set in Season 4 when Meredith and Derek Broke up

It has been a few months since I got the job as The New Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery. You had a job as a Mass Gen as a regular attending, but the Chief of Surgery, Richard Webber, offered you the job and you decided to take the job right away. You liked Seattle even though the constant rain annoyed the hell out of you. Over time you manage to make a few friends. It's mostly the heads of the surgical department and a few residents like Bailey and Callie.

You just finished your shift and decided to hang out at Joe’s, when you got there you sat down at the bar at the far end. When you ordered your usual drink you turned to the left and saw Derek Shepherd, the head of neurosurgery, was drinking alone. You decided to have some small talk since you didn't know him that well. You knew of him, like how his nickname is McDreamy and he had a previous relationship with one of the 1st years.

You went over to sit next to him and asked,” Hey, how are you doing?”

He turned to look at you and was surprised I was talking to him. He answered, “You're doing well, yourself.”

You nodded in response. Joe gave you your drink and the two of you started to have some small talk. It was mostly regarding other interests, what's your favorite sports team, where you go to college, all that stuff.

Then you decided to ask something that would be a little awkward to answer.

“So… what's the deal with you and that one resident?” you asked. You notice that he and Meredith steal glances every chance they get.

He looked at you debating whether or not to answer, “We had a relationship when she was in the 1st year” He paused “We tried to work it out but unfortunately, we couldn’t.”

“Sorry about that, it must have been hard,” you said with sincerity.

He looked down at his drink and replied, “Yeah…..yeah it was, but I'm starting to move on.”

A part of you was relieved that he was getting over the heartbreak that he is experiencing but another part of you made you feel bad for the dude and wondered what you do to help.

Ever since that night at Joe’s, you and Derek’s friendship has grown even more. You guys talk whenever you have a break. It was a good friendship, a little brotherhood friendship. It was going great until your feelings towards Derek grew to the point where you started to grow romantic feelings. But you decided to act against it for two reasons. 1) you didn't know if he wasn't straight and 2) you were pretty sure he was still hung up with the 2-year resident. You decided to compress those feelings because you didn't want to mess up your newfound friendship with Derek.

Then one day you and Derek were both alone changing in the attending room after a very long day of back-to-back surgeries. He was leaning against the locker right to yours while you were just finished changing into your regular clothing. You were gonna ask if you wanted to head to Joe's to watch the game. But Derek beat you to the question but the difference was that he asked you something that completely shocked you.

“Go out with me tomorrow night,” Derek said so subtly.

You slammed the locker door hard and stared into his blue eyes. Your own eyes widened at the question. You normally don't judge a book by its cover, but you would have never thought he was into dudes

“ Are you playing a trick with me or is this some kind of joke?” you asked. You were very wary about the guys you dated because most of the guys you've dated were assholes or straight dudes trying to get a laugh at you.

Derek said quickly “I'm not!!!...it's just you for the past month you were by my side with a lot of you… and I really, REALLY, think we have a connection.”

As he said that his words started to slow down and started to seem more sincere. You ask him whether or not he was straight. You assumed he was Bi or Pan at least considering he had an ex-wife and his last relationship was Meredith. He explained that he’s bisexual and that he had two boyfriends before he started dating Addison.

You were still hesitant because your last relationship ended with your boyfriend cheating on you with his co-worker. He could tell by your facial expressions that you were very hesitant. He took your hand looked into your eyes and said this

“I promise I'm not gonna be like the other guy, if you want to take things slow that's fine, all that I'm asking for is one dinner, and that's it.”

You could tell that he was being genuine, again you were a little hesitant. But then again he wasn’t like the other dude. Derek is kind, smart, and charismatic, all of the great qualities in a man that you were into.

So you looked into his dreamy eyes and said, “Yes, I would love to.”

2 months later.

It was a long day In the OR and you wanted to lie down. You went to the call room to get some shut cause you didn't have the energy to drive. You took off your tennis shoes and laid down on the bottom bunk facing the wall. As you are about to shut your eyes you hear the door open and see a bright light illuminated on the wall.

You turned your back to whoever just opened the door and saw Derek who looked just as tired as you are. He shut the door behind him and walked over to you. He lay down next and put his arm around your body holding you in a firm grip never letting you go.

You murmured, “How was your craniotomy on that peds patient?”

Derek also replied with a murmur” It went great, how did your heart transplant go?”

Seconds passed by without a response. Next thing you know, Derek heard the gentle sound of your snoring. Chuckling quietly to himself, he leaned in and placed a tender kiss on your forehead. Gradually, he too began to drift off to sleep.

THIRD PERSON POV

An hour passed, and the door opened revealing Alex who needed some shut-eye from a surgery he just assisted on. As he was about to select a bed, he paused, noticing Shepherd cuddling with the new cardio attending. His eyes widened in suspicion, suspecting a romantic relationship between the two. Soon after, Lexi and a few other interns entered, their attention immediately drawn to the scene before them. While some were taken aback, Lexi found the sight incredibly endearing.

Welcome home! dear…fungus?

Characters: Dehya, Tighnari, Cyno, Alhaitham, Nilou x gn! reader (separately, established relationships)

Genre: Fluff, crack

Warnings: None I think? I kept switching between fungus and fungi bc idk what’s correct, (does cyno’s humour count as a warning?)

Summary: Sumeru characters react to you bringing home a new pet… fungus?

Notes: Got this idea after playing the fungus event and thought it would be a good chance to write some Sumeru characters! I’m sorry if it seems rushed I just wanted to get this out there since I haven’t been posting regularly. ㅠㅠ Inspired by my slime fics which you can find here: Part 1 — Part 2 (pls forgive me im so bad at naming slimes and fungi)

Dehya:

“Ah there you are!” Dehya sports a warm grin the moment she sees you. She stands at ease, not on high alert like she normally is. You are more interesting than anything in the background, and she prefers giving you her undivided attention. Of course, should any threat arrive she would be ready again before you could blink.

“I was looking for you everywhere- Is that fungi following you?” In an instant her tone drops into pure confusion. If the two of you were in any situation she would be springing into action, smiting the poor fungi before you even knew it was there. But this isn’t just any situation. The small capped creature is spinning around you, and your face is bright and content as you stand in the middle of Sumeru city.

“Yes! He’s my new companion. I called him Zest! There was an event down in Port Ormos where I trained him for a week, but the little guy didn’t want to leave my side at the end!”

“So… now we have to take care of a fungi.” Her expression is unimpressed, but her voice indicates that she’s intrigued, a little amused even.

“I can take care of it myself if you don’t want to-“

“No! I mean, you don’t have to do everything yourself. We do things together, yeah?” Her sudden interruption makes you giggle, and when she sees your face scrunched up in glee warmth rushes to her cheeks.

“At least it’s not a spectre.” She shakes her head, but your smile is contagious, and she can’t help the twitch of her lips. “Well we’d better go show lil’ Zesty his new home,” she says. With a delighted smile, you link your arm with hers and affectionately push into her side, while your fungi bounces along beside you. Dehya glances at the fungi one more time, before looking at your smiling face. She shakes her head again, but her smile only grows wider. The things love makes you do.

Tighnari:

Tighnari steps into his hut while rubbing his neck, his eyes almost drooping to the floor. He had an insanely busy day, and all he can think to do is have some well deserved quality time with you. He looks up expecting to see you all settled into bed, but instead he finds an electro fungi in his spot and you giving it cuddles. Subconsciously his tail flicks with irritation, but he’s more curious than upset.

“Am I in the right house?” He asks, and though it’s intended to be a joke, his stress seeps into his tone. So much so that it jolts you, and you sit up alert on the bed. The fungi also stops its wiggling, as if mimicking you. He notes that, somewhere in the back of his mind.

“Tighnari! I um… this is, well I found… no I mean I got her from Port Ormos. There was an event and they let me keep her.” Your body is stiff as you attempt to explain the situation. Your words get all tied together, as if you were caught red-handed and were reaching for an excuse.

“I’m sorry if I startled you. Just relax and, well, let’s find this little fungi somewhere else to sit other than my side of the bed.” His tone is no longer taut, only tired, but he still gives you a gentle smile. You get up from the bed and walk over to where he is, the fungi following you. The two of you sit together on the couch, while the fungi twirls merrily on the rug.

“I think I understand the situation, but I’m sure you’re aware of the danger it poses. While it seems very tame now, it’s still a wild creature and can be unpredictable.” He glances between your gentle face and the energetic fungi while talking.

“I know… you’re right. Maybe we can watch it for a few days, and if it seems too unsafe or it’s unhappy we can release it.” You give him a hopeful smile, and since your argument is fairly sound, and he’s too tired to discuss it further, he agrees.

“We can spend more time with it tomorrow but for now, let’s get to bed.” You take Tighnari’s hand and lead him to bed, but he stops and looks at the fungi. It wiggles expectantly and he sighs. “Alright Jitterbug, I suppose you can come too.” He turns to follow you, but you just stand there in shock. Now it’s you being pulled along to bed as you laugh at the nickname and sudden fondness for the fungi. He smiles to himself seeing your joyful face, and he already feels all his stress melt away.

Cyno:

“Cynooo! I’m hoooome!” You call into the empty entryway. Your voice is full of energy, but doubt creeps into your heart as your voice echos off the walls. It’s not unusual for you to arrive to an empty house, but you always call out just in case. You walk further in, a small dendro fungus hovering behind you. As you step into the living area you immediately freeze.

Cyno lays on his back, chest rising and falling in a steady rhythm with an utterly peacful look on his face. Your heart dances at the adorable sight, but only for a moment as he seems to stir from your presence. He pushes himself up a bit and rubs a hand across his face. When he turns to you he smiles, and it fills you with warmth. With how early he gets up in the mornings, his sleepy face is a rare sight, but a beautiful one indeed.

“Oh hello dear, I guess I must have dozed off… and hello there fungus.” He sits himself fully upright on the couch, still waking up it seems. But he soon becomes fully alert.

“Wait… what am I saying?” His gaze drifts from your face to over your shoulder. “Wait! Behind you!” You just stand there and sigh.

“Are you awake now?” You giggle a bit when you see his baffled face.

“I- What?”

“This is our new pet! I got the little guy from an event in Port Ormos! If he behaves well we’ll keep him!” You beam at him while the fungus slowly emerges from behind your shoulder, curiously floating towards Cyno. He blinks at it.

“I’ve never given much thought to keeping pets, but if it’s with you I’m sure it will be fun.” You smile wider and do a little jump with joy, as if having won a prize. In all honesty, and it might only be because of his sleepy daze, you had expected him to deny the creature to even enter your home. When you refocus out of your thoughts you find him slightly poking the fungi, who doesn’t seem to mind, with a slight smile.

“We’re calling it Bud. Get it? Because it’s like a flower bud, but also a companion.” He grins and pats the fungus on the head. And while you’re glad they’re already getting along, you can’t help but sigh at your partner’s blunt humour.

Alhaitham:

The sun casts a peach glow over the city and you walk hand in hand with the Akademiya’s scribe. A cool breeze blows, a sign on the oncoming night. You had surprised Alhaitham at his office just as his work ended, ready to walk him home.

“I have a surprise for you when we get home!” You grin, nearly unable to contain your excitment. You remind him of a pot about to boil over, but he refrains from pointing that out. He merely raises an eyebrow at you, ever the cynic.

“If it’s that Kaveh has finally moved out I’ll be over the moon,” he jokes. You lightly hit him, a slight pout on your face, which quickly changes into a devious grin.

“I suppose it does have something to do with roomates.” To this he finds a slight concern wash over him, but also you lean into him playfully he decides to trust you.

The sun is about to disappear beyond the horizon when you arrive home, and Alhaitham nervously unlocks the door. He instantly notices the lack of signs of Kaveh, and relaxes a little. Until you stand in front of him and call out ‘surprise!’ He shuts the door behind him then looks up, and is met face to face with a floating hydro fungi.

“Is this fungus.. the surprise?” His voice is questioning, reasonably so he would argue. But your grin doesn’t falter.

“Yes! I got her from an event in Port Ormos, so I suppose you can consider her your new roomate!” He stands and watches the fungi float around him, like it was checking him out. It strangely makes him feel out of place in his own home. A part of him wants to lecture you on the nature of fungi, and how they wouldn’t be suitable for keeping as housepets. But truthfully, he can’t think of much evidence to support that, seeing as there hasn’t been much, if any, research done on the subject. He looks back at you.

“Well?” You pry. Alhaitham perceives the slight falter of your smile, the way you seem to be holding together your enthusiasm, and he can’t help but feel his heart swell at your passion for this creature, and your desire for him to accept it into his home.

“I suppose it’s much favourable to that nosy architect. Say, maybe we should train it to pester Kaveh.” Suddenly he finds the idea of keeping a fungi quite intriguing.

“Hey! You can’t just use it for nefarious purposes!” You pout at him again, and he has to raise his hands in defeat. As he does, the hydro fungus nuzzles into his cheek and you laugh at his suddenly flustered expression. He pats it awkwardly before it floats back over to you, and you welcome it with a nuzzle and a warm smile. Maybe it’s not such a terrible idea after all.

Nilou:

The lights at the Grand Bazaar just begin to turn on as the sky darkens. Their soft glow illuminates the stage, making it seem even more magical. Although evening has fallen, a crowd steadily forms, filling the Bazaar with chatter and life. Some people browse, while others just stand and chat, but your focus is solely on the graceful and lithe movements of Nilou’s dance.

It’s merely a practice, but since you finished your errands early you had to come see her. There was nowhere you’d rather be. The moment her dance ends time seems to stop, as she holds her elegant pose in the soft lights, looking ethereal. Then she relaxes, and her eyes find you. Her cheeks heat up and she appears ready to burst with both glee and fluster.

“You’re absolutely stunning, as always. I think I fell in love all over again! Craig loved it too!” You gush with rapture in your voice when she comes down to greet you. Her heart soars at your praises.

“Thank yo- who’s Craig? Did I miss something?” Her glee falters a little, replaced by puzzlement. You swallow, realizing your slip-up. Her gaze follows yours as you cast it to the ground, where a small geo fungus stands.

“Um, Nilou, meet Craig!” You smile sheepishly, finally bringing your eyes back to her. But she keeps staring at the lithic creature, watching curiously as it begins to roll around her feet before settling back beside you.

“A fungi?” She questions, and you begin to fear that this was a bad idea. With bated breath you wait as she intently observes it. Suddenly a smile spills across her face.

“He’s adorable! I didn’t know fungi could be so well behaved!” She giggles, and you feel your whole being relax at her enthusiasm. The creature begins to jump around too, excited by her positive tone.

“I was hoping we could look after him together, if you’d be alright with that.” She meets your gaze and beams brightly, her face nearly glowing.

“Of course! Ooh, maybe I can teach it to dance! It could join the theater!” She giggles again and latches onto your arm, settling herself into your embrace. The fungi leans itself into your leg too.

“It seems I might need to compete for your attention,” she says, noticing the fungi. You smile between the both of them, enjoying being surrounding by their affections. Nilou laughs as you struggle to give them exactly equal attention all the way home.

“Home sweet home,” you say once you finally arrive. The fungi and Nilou enter together, and it warms your heart seeing them already adjust to each other. But what warms it even more is how they both cuddle into you once you’ve settled into bed, and you can’t help but feel that this moment is the definition of contentment.

he took ur hand in his as you guys walked into the restaurant he also got the door for u with a "after u princess" and u chuckled walking in up to the counter it was really just you 2 in there so u got ur food fairly quickly and u guys stayed in the restaurant to eat ur food

Y/n: "okay bill I don't think we can do EVERYTHING u wanted but we definitely can stop at the gas station and grab some drinks and snacks and then go back to mine for a movie night how does that sounds love?"

Bill: "yeahh maybe we can do that other stuff a different time"

After a while u guys had finished ur food and gone to the gas stationand everything u guys went back to ur house and put on a random movie and got all cuddled up and eventually fell asleep together 💕

wants you to wear his clothes. like i know some guys who get annoyed if you keep constantly borrowing their clothes but that is not an issue with mingi. he literally offers you his clothes without you even asking?? he just likes the way they fit on you. he's bigger than you so most of his clothes fall in a droopy, oversized manner, which he thinks makes you look super cosy and cute :(

he has the tendency to rest his head on your lap. will demand you stroke his hair because he absolutely loves it. while you stroke his hair he will tell you about his day but you could hear his voice getting more and more sleepier. will probably end up dosing off like this tbh

mingi has a habit of taking lots and lots and lotsssss of pictures of you. he especially loves the embarrassing ones like when you are snoozing on the couch, mouth open as you snore softly, or when you have just shoved your food in your mouth and he calls your name so you like directly into the camera. then he's run away whilst laughing obnoxiously - he was in the need of a new lockscreen

when you guys are away from each other, he tries to send texts as much as he can. and they are always funny, he might send a bunch of memes and spam you with emojis until you are online lmao. he does prefer facetiming you, especially when he's on tour and hasn't seen your face in ages. he will call you before he's about to go to sleep, but he would end up talking to you longer than anticipated, but all awareness of time goes out the window when mingi is talking to you. who needs sleep anyways?

dates with him would include:

karaoke dates - because he just completely lets loose in front of you, he is would love to do something crazy and random. taking you to a karaoke bar would be a spontaneous thing instead of planned. you guys will be belting a ballad together, hitting all the wrong notes in your awesome duet

shopping - i think it's safe to say that you guys are going to come back with a bunch of random shit. mingi will love to buy cute little things that he probably doesn't need. impulse buys all around!

spa dates - bro loves top be pampered i can't lie. loves having a massage or getting a facial done, he finds it so relaxing especially after a long week. he would love to treat you both to a luxury spa experience, and he would want to do everything like go to the sauna, the steam room, and the jacuzzi!

overall, he is so thankful to have you as a partner. you make him feel safe <3

• When Layla, you and NOLAN's brightest star has born, people said bad things will happen to Land Of Dawn. To Eruditio(?). Very bad things that most of the people couldnt even survive.

• No one really tried to save the Land Of Dawn. Other then your husband, Nolan.

• Nolan said he will go to save Eruditio. You have always wondered, why all of the people he needed to go? Why did you guys have needed to be seperated..?

You of course didnt want your husband to be in danger but Nolan said "I will be okey, love. Please dont worry about me and just take care of our 'brightest start'" and hold Layla gently, kissing her forhead and looking at Layla lovingly. Tears were coming to your eyes and making your vision blury. You gulped and didnt said anything while lowering your head a little bit. Nolan noticed this and slowly putted Layla to her little bed and then turned to you.

You were watching him, knowing this is you guys last moments before he need to leave this universe, and maybe not even come back...

He made his way toward to you and gently pulled you to a hug, rubbing your back and stroked your head slowly. As you hug him tightly, scared for him to diseppeir before even telling you. He just kissed your head again and again while you were sliently crying. • That night, when Layla was suprisingly sleeping deeply, you guys spend the night together. Cuddling, kissing each other, talking, eating and whatever you guys want to do before he was gone. And you guys sleept together while cuddling to each other.

As you woked up, you already knew there is was something,.. Missing-? When you remembered last night, you looked at the bed but there is was no one. You looked all around the house but only to find a very nice sleeping Layla. It would be so awesome and cute to find her sleeping like that. But you couldnt think of that.

As you understand what was happened, you crouch down and started to cry again quitly while looking at Layla. One of the things Nolan left before not even saying a 'Goodbye' to you...

• Nolan was both feeling a little bit guilty and sad. Why? He was feeling guilty because he didnt said a goodbye to you. But he was know that if he ever talk to you before going, it would be really hard for both of you to leave each other. So he couldnt say anything to you but left a letter and that thing when you open, you guys family picture would show up where no know but only you can find.

• But of course you didnt raised your daugther bad, you showed her kindness, love, affection (everything my mom didnt showed to me :3), everything a child needs. You didnt raised her spoiled too, she is really cute and perfect.

• But every second you spend without Nolan was like a another dagger getting stuck on your heart. İt was painful. Very painful that you were even suprised how you can spend time without Nolan.

• That was enaugh. Just like how he did to himself, you were going to split your soul in billions or maybe even more. Just to find his true form.

• One of your soul was going to be in here, in eruditio. And the others will be going to find him. Find the love of your love. Find Nolan.

You kissed Layla's cheek while she was sleeping. 'Another soul.. But at least I'm helping him' you tought to yourself as the Nolan's one of souls told you where you can find him. You thanked him and changed your coordinates. You think the original Nolan have should know what was happening but wasnt really sure.

When you have reach the coordinates, there stands Nolan. But you felt something. Something needy, desperate, (not in that way hornys 😡) and most importantly; missing..

All the souls were the same. But you can select your Nolan out of all those other souls. So when you see him, your eyes widened. Your heart started to beat more faster. And tears were coming to your eyes. You slowly and quitly maded your way towards behind him.

He of course felt a presence. Similar. Very similar to someone.. But suprisingly you werent a monster. You were a human and doesnt have bad initantions. So he just stayed still and acted like he didnt know your presence. He was an assasin, if you are tryna do something to him, he would be quick to react.

You get behind him only 3 steps and then you could have reunion again. Why did you stop? You dont know too. Tears were coming from your eyes "Nolan.." you said quitly but only for him to hear.

A voice. Very fimilar one. His eyes widened and slowly turned around. Only to see his only lover "My Love-?" he said.
