There are ten visible 18oz cups on screen. Lowballing, I’m going to say this is all he has had. I’m also going to say each counts as 12oz since it’s possible they weren’t filled up all the way, also standard Budweiser can and bottle sizes are 12oz, so it’s an equivalent of one can/bottle per cup. I’m saying Budweiser bc it’s statistically the most popular beer in New York which. It’s also the most popular beer in the entire country so like. Whatever. I’m going for it.

0.08%bac is the average level New Yorkers start feeling “drunk” (it’s also the legal driving limit lmao). The national average for that is 0.099%bac, so I feel comfortable saying it’s sssssimilar enough to just. Use those numbers with a pinch of salt which isn’t how math works but ffff.. Sshhh…

So basically, yeah, I guess based on my word and above numbers he’s anywhere between 0.29%-0.5%bac in that. If he’s only passed out that’s WILD LMAO

0.25%bac is starting stage 5 (level that passing out is listed at); 0.29%bac is the bottom line so it makes sense he would be passed out at this mark if his tolerance is above average which! Probably! It's fuckin New York!

But. 0.45%bac+ is like. Pretty damn assured death for errrrrrr. Most people!

So. Yeah! Between 116-200% tolerance when compared to average citizens. I know that’s a big discrepancy just play with me in this hypothetical math hell please!

The point of all this being. Yeah. I do maybe believe the states are a little tougher than humans and I had to justify it to myself in some semblance of reality

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

I can’t do that; which is why I’m asking you to.#also: a bunch of tags are surprised this isn’t ‘shopped #it’s the lighting. backlit by the sun (which is diffused through the water) but also forelit artificially #the artificial light - a flash pack or something - casts a hard shadow under the creatures arm #which normally wouldn’t be possible if backlit by the SUN; you’d see a less-hard/more-fragmented shadow above water #as light sources ‘compete’ in a sense - and since there aren’t any light sources which can outshine the literal sun #it looks a bit weird when the darkest shadow is being cast from any other origin point - which is what’s essentially happening here #I don’t know the mechanics of how light travels through water; but I know the effect is substantial even with relatively short distances #also: it’s been balanced and color corrected by the author of the photo - who made deliberate choices to bring out the full potential #so it’s not like it’s a fresh and untouched export #but the kind of ‘tacked on’ appearance of the creature is a result of the lighting conditions within the image

A recent lawsuit is calling into question the very law that makes user-generated content possible on the internet and it’s going before a bunch of old people who have no idea how the internet works. If Section 230 gets repealed or modified, the internet as we know it will radically change forever. Content policing will be that much worse; and either the guidelines will be so restrictive it’ll squeeze the life out of their sites, or sites will close their doors all together by not being able to meet the moderation demand and not wanting to risk being liable.

Unlike SOPA way back in the day, this one is quietly flying under everyone’s radar so there’s no big pushback like last time, so there is a very real possibility this goes down in the worst way possible. So Yeah Ya’ll may want to start saving your favorite content if you feel it’s going to go bye-bye

btw if you borrow dvds or cds from library you can rip them onto your own blanks or onto your hard drive or whatever. librarians don’t care and they won’t know if you do it or not
