hi!! Reading all of these is really fun, I love the old black-and-white noir feel :) I was wondering, if someone (me) were to hypothetically (not hypothetically at all) want to make fanart, are there any character design details, and if so, what are they?
ah yes, hypothetical fanart. now, this wasn’t somethin’ i expected to be discussin’ just yet. but i had considered the possibility of this happenin’ especially considerin’ Madame Curator has plenty of fan content of her, so i was rather excited. i decided to divulge…
see, some main details would probably include a fedora (that is commonplace among detectives), a trench coat with a popped collar, and possibly a cigarette or magnifying glass (among other various 1940s detective related paraphernalia). really, i’m just your average noir detective.
save for one detail…
now, i wasn’t plannin’ on revealin’ this next piece of information so early, but seein’ as people are lookin’ to make fanart of me, i guess id better spill the beans…

mumble something something thinking about how Persona 4 uses the available dialogue options as well as the social stats, the dialogue option they unlock, and what is available to Yu as hobbies and part-time work to show off his character, all without having any more detailed lines of dialogue than the dialogue options (at least until the spin-off like Dancing All Night), and how this is a pretty fascinating way to build a character while still letting the player have influence on the direction you can take him

Maybe hell has some plants like that, and only a select few can tame it. But with Adam, the plant is like a puppy since most Demons try to make it submit with violence, but because Adam TLC, the thing is a puddle of pure happiness.

Oh jeez. Saw the far cry 6 ask, and what if Desmond was in far cry 4? Would he just be a seemingly random guy hanging with Yogi and Reggie (and tripping/seeing nirvana/isu)? Or would he be trying to live a peaceful life as a llama(??chickens?) rancher in the mountains and no one else seems to be willing to let him? Does he listen to the radio and go WTF???
The Desmond in Far Cry 6 ask for those interested.
Sooooo… I did think about Desmond becoming a rancher in the mountains and just chilling with his llamas (named Altaïr, Ezio and Ratonhnhaké:ton, one of them is a female llama XD) but then I remembered that Pagan Min is voiced by Troy Baker and, whenever Troy Baker and Nolan North are in a game together, it’s tradition for the characters they voice to have some kind of connection to one another.
This means, as someone voiced by Nolan North, Desmond is gonna have to be caught up with Pagan Min one way or another.
He could just be someone who had been raising llamas at the outskirt of Kyrat, living a peaceful life…
Until two men high up their ass decided to try and catch his llamas because they believe the llamas are pegasi that will fly them out of Kyrat even without their passport.
Desmond finds them amusing because, even in their high state, they said one of the llamas told them they can’t fly them because they don’t have passports.
One of them even threatened to kick them to death.
Desmond was betting the violent one was their high version of Altaïr. That llama fought off a goddamn bear long enough for Desmond to get there with his hunting rifle, after all.
So Yogi and Reggie starts visiting Desmond, first to apologize for trying to steal his llama and helping fix the fence they kinda tripped over and destroyed during the ‘chase’ (it was more like the llama chasing them though, their screams were what woke Desmond up after all) and, after fixing the fence, they sometimes go there to just chill and talk to Desmond while eating Desmond’s homemade meals.
Desmond is actually in Kyrat because he’s now officially retired.
He knows there’s a dictator, of course, but he also knows that the Assassins have sent someone to take care of it and Kyrat’s current political ‘standing’ makes it impossible for Abstergo to even get a foot inside.
Of course, people in Kyrat don’t trust Desmond a bit but he just stays in his small farm with his llamas, growing his own food and living a peaceful life.
… until Yogi and Reggie brought a delirious man in his farm, claiming him to be an important guest but… uuhhh… well… they may have given the man an experimental batch of their drug instead of the usual stuff and now they don’t know what’s going to happen to him and they just need Desmond to look after him while they get medicine or something, make sure he doesn’t choke on his own vomit or bite his tongue off, pleeeassee.
Desmond does this because they look really scared of the man dying and then, the following day, Reggie and Yogi returns…
With Pagan Min.
Because apparently…
The man they left with Desmond?
The man’s name is Ajay.
And Pagan Min would like to personally thank Desmond for taking care of him.
When Ajay wakes up, he’s in one of the more secured buildings Pagan Min owns with a man named Desmond who has been kidnapped as well.
And he’s planning on escaping because because he’s worried about his llamas.
Ajay is there for the ride but, unfortunately…
Pagan Min does know who Desmond Miles is.
To be more exact…
The Assassin that the Brotherhood sent over?
He’s been turned to one of Pagan’s most loyal followers.
Paul Harmon.
And he’s been quite honest about who Desmond Miles is.
The only reason why Desmond was able to live a peaceful life in Kyrat is because Pagan Min didn’t care about him.
But now…
He was an honored guest who helped Ajay survive what could have been a bad case of hallucinations (not really, the worst Ajay did was mistake Desmond as his late mother) and help Pagan Min ‘rescue’ Ajay.
And the building they’re in?
It’s been modified to keep an Assassin not ‘wanting to leave’.
Cue Ajay and Desmond trying to escape this building…
All the while Pagan Min is trying to ‘bond’ with both of them.

so which of the twdg canon ships do you actually think work/make sense? and by canon ships i mean like actual established relationships, implied relationships or perhaps a character that was crushing on someone else before death.
me immediately blanking on every relationship in twdg upon reading this ask
the only one i stand behind with conviction is clemvi. idk if you need me to explain why i feel like ive done it a million times by now 👀 but yeah theyre the only relationship i "Ship" in regards to the quote where i see them as a match for each other and think romance makes sense for both parties
as for some "in defense of"s
i'll defend javi and kate. my only Real problem with them is how they handle david in it like girl can you at least take off the wedding ring before we kiss 😭 my brother still thinks youre his wife (plus they did push it Really hard.. but like.. narratively i understand why they did. family is a running theme of the series and javi and davids relationship is like the main conflict). but like. kate and javis relationship Makes Sense. she had a shit husband (who wanted to go back to the army anyway). her and javi already had the beginnings of Something before the outbreak even happened. she was left with javi to take care of 2 children that werent even biologically hers (i enjoy the complex family dynamics in twdg as a whole). and together theyve been surviving for years as a family unit. i think javi having feelings isnt up for debate, its more just will he act on those feelings or will he respect his brother? and like.. fuck david am i right? kate was Not happy in that relationship and deserves better, and javi cares about her. but also the pressure from their dad to get along after hes gone. it all works for me even if it couldve been executed better
and i .... sigh .... Understand gabe and clem. BUT!!! i think they have different feelings towards each other and its an important distinction. gabe definitely has a huge crush on her, shes cool as hell, but i think her feelings in return are fueled by hormones and the fact that she hasnt been around anyone her own age since DUCK (sarah was 15 at the time). like. does she think hes cute? yeah. but he can also be kind of a huge jerk sometimes and acts recklessly. i think its those moments that snap clem out of it lol. seeing this response in S4 felt vindicating im taking it as sad loner clem having a hormone induced crush. like girl yes or no?? this is the most direct option??
personally i dont like them together because i Hate tropes where the more mature girl half has to teach the immature boy half to grow up and be capable and thats somehow romantic. ESPECIALLY in clems case where she is literally already raising someone like her hands are full ok. her assuaging his ego makes me 🤢 girl you dont have to take that second gun just because he was gonna cry about it if you didnt. its just not romantic to me. also i think its soooo funny that clem uses the same tactic on gabe that she does on aj in S4 with the "i need you to watch my back" to stop him from complaining about being left behind at the gate LOL. also i just think he loves his dad too much who clem hates more than anyone on earth so like.. theres that

Some random SVE headcanon:
(cw: a little NSFW, I think. There's barely mention here, but I warned you, just in case)
Can you imagine what an awkward situation it would be if the Farmer needed to tell someone about Mr. Qi, and how you met him? They had to tell about a mysterious stranger who rewards them for completing his challenges and all. And either Magnus, or Marlon, or even mages and adventurers from Castle Village need information about this person for some reason (in my headcanon, they don't know about Mr. Qi, he is very mysterious for them, and they may even consider him a threat). Now think about how the Farmer will explain this. "I put a rainbow shell in a box, then a beetroots in the mayor's refrigerator, and then a solar essence in the mouth of a dead dragon/dinosaur in the desert, now I'm a member of the gambling club and that's how we met." What the actual fuck?
Not to mention the "milk" situation on the 100th floor in the Skull Cavern, there's a whole new level of awkwardness here:
Camilla: "So tell us more about this Mr. Qi."
Farmer: "Well, I already told you how we met in Calico Dessert, but it was not the last meeting. On my journey, I came across a note that said 'someone is waiting for me at floor 100 in the Skull Cavern'. And... It was him again."
Lance: "Skull Cavern? I have heard that the place is teeming with iridium ore, and also that many adventurers have not returned from this dangerous place."
Farmer: "Yeah, this place is no joke, but I did it! It was a pain in the ass, but still worth it. So, I met Mr. Qi and he praised me for passing his test with dignity, without a crafting ladder."
Magnus: "Hmmm, interesting. Please continue."
Farmer: "Well, he praised me, and offered me to drink his weird milk. Disgusting and goopy stuff, but I became much stronger, and..."
Alesia: "Wait wait, hold on. He offered you what?"
Farmer: 'Uuhhh, iridium milk. He said it was from a snake."
Alesia: ...
Alesia: "A milk... from a snake?"
Farmer: "Well, yes. And what?"
Magnus: "... You telling us, that a stranger gave you his milk...from a snake? And you drank it?"
Farmer: "I mean, yeah? What's wrong with..." *Realizes how it sounds WITHOUT context*
Farmer: .......
Farmer: "Wait, no, I- I can explain..."
Everyone: ..........
Camilla: *Laughing her ass off*
Marlon: "... We REALLY need to talk with you about stranger-danger."

I just wanted to tell you that I’m completely obsessed with your “The Hour of the Wolf” series. It’s just sooooo amazing, and honestly, you’re the only one that feeds my need for Cregan Stark 😭
