I've seen disgruntled 7-S V1 art and I've seen happy 7-S V1 art and honestly I can't decide which one I like more.

On the one hand I love the idea of "why am I in a maid dress?" V1s that are totally over this shit and wanna go back to spilling the unholy blood of machine, demon, and husk alike.

On the other hand, the idea that the badass murder robot that literally douses itself in blood as a power source taking a break to clean a house like a godsdamn disney princess, getting everything sparkly clean with its power washer, is the most delightful thing ever.

Ultrakill is a really fun game mostly because of the incredibly tight movement shooter mechanics and high octane gameplay but also because if you dig a bit into the lore of the game you find out that what you are actually playing is the desperate attempt at survival by a machine fueled by literal blood as it rampages through hell in search of more violence to sustain itself with. Every kill that soaks V1 in blood is more bought time for a robot who’s only current directive is to continue existing at all costs and if it ever stops moving, ever stops killing, ever stops absorbing fuel then it means death. But hell is alive and breathing and it knows you’re in there, and most importantly: Hell is not infinite. V1’s journey is about inevitability. About how eventually this machine will either be destroyed for good or it will consume everything in its horrifying, violent thirst until it consumes itself too. And then you go looking for fan content about the game and it’s all Gay Sex.
