Note
hi mousey!! been a while since I sent you an ask
I was putting on my make up earlier today and an idea came to mind, I need to know your opinion on this
how do you think the sdv + sve bachelors would react to a farmer who asks to do their make up? which ones do you think refuse? which ones ask before the farmer does, "can you do it?"? and which ones just accept?
hope you have a great day <3
Hope you have a good day too, dear anon, and thanks for the ask! ☺️❤️
SDV and SVE bachelors react to the Farmer who asks to do their makeup:
Shane:
"Babe, I don't know anything about this."
Still, Shane tries to try to give them a makeup so they don't get upset.
Unfortunately, it didn't work very well.
But he does get a funny little face made of mascara on Farmer's cheek, heh.
Next time, however, he'll refuse, as he'll only make it worse.
Well, at least Shane and Farmer got a funny little memory.
Elliott:
Surprisingly, Elliott agrees right away.
And what's more surprising is that he manages to help Farmer with the make-up very well.
Everything is precise, neat and harmonious, like wow!
Surely our long-haired writer hasn't been a stylist before?
Elliott is happy to do Farmer's make up and tells them not to hesitate to ask him for help in the future.
Harvey:
"Oh, make-up? I'm sorry, my dear, but I don't think I can..."
Harvey does agree to help, though he doesn't count on success.
Totally calm when applying mascara to Farmer, but accidentally paints their cheek with mascara anyway.
On the third or fourth attempt, the doctor manages to give Farmer a simple and quite passable make-up.
Hey, a reason to be proud, he helped his loved one!
Sam:
Hell yeah, Sammy can do quite good make-up! A little different, though.
The young musician has been thinking about make-up for his music band for a long time, so he's had time to practice.
Even though Farmer needs a light, simple ("and boring" as Sam described it) make-up, he can still help them.
And will do very well with mascara and foundation.
"You sure you don't want cool make-up like metal bands? Eh, okay..."
Sebastian:
Sebastian definitely uses black eyeliner (my headcanon, you can't change my mind).
At times our dear emo was too lazy to do his own eyeliner, so will ask Farmer for help first. "Hon, can you help with the eyes please?"
Doesn't know much about the rest of make-up products, but if you need to emphasise your eyes, Sebby will never refuse a request.
And he'll ask for it himself if Farmer's okay with it as well.
Alex:
What make-up? He's not a girl!
To be honest, Alex has only had a couple of make-ups, which are usually done by gridball fans, and, well, that's basically it.
So if Farmer's going to the stadium, then Alex can help with cool sport fan make-up.
If it's just some regular make-up, then no, sorry. He can't do it.
He could try, but he'd end up with paint all over their face. Oh well, at least he tried.
Victor:
"Makeup? Oh, I've never done it, but my mom does her own makeup every day. Maybe she could help you?"
If Farmer insists on getting help from Victor specifically, he will politely decline.
He'd be interested in the idea, though, and a little later he'd watch tutorials on his laptop or ask Olivia.
The next time Victor offered to help Farmer with their makeup, wanting to practice.
"I thought it sounded interesting. Besides, we'll have one more common interest."
Magnus Rasmodius:
"Only with magic can I fulfil your request."
For Magnus, magic is almost the solution to all problems. He thinks magic will help here, too....
With his hands? Sorry, Farmer. A wizard certainly can't do your make up by hands. Only with a spell.
Well, he still has to remember the spell.....
Hold on, he should ask Camilla, she's definitely using that kind of spell.
Lance:
Another clever mage from the magical society where agree to help Farmer with the help of his magic.
He also watches his appearance and sometimes uses spells, but he doesn't do his own makeup and tries to take care of himself without cosmetics.
How then he knows the spells of instant perfect makeup is a mystery.
A snap of his fingers and in a second, he has perfect makeup on Farmer's face.
Though in the future he may learn a couple of basics on how to do Farmer's makeup without magic. Just because the process itself is kinda interesting.

would they still love u if u were a worm stardew expanded edition let’s go baeby
victor.
☆ he’s confused by this question and the look on his face has you worried
☆ it’s not that he wouldn’t love you, but how would he explain to his mother that he’s in love with a worm?
☆ he’d still do it best to make this relationship work
☆ checks out an alarming amount of books on worms from the library (gunther doesn’t usually judge but….he definitely notices)
☆ browses the internet for the highest quality terrariums, but decides to design his own for you so it would be extra special and extra comfortable for his favorite worm
☆ it’ll take him a while to construct the perfect terrarium(™) so he orders one for you in the meantime. don’t ask about the price, it's not important.
☆ he is absolutely hiding that receipt from his mom though
☆ reads up on his worm books to make sure you get the best diet and living conditions
sophia.
☆ do you even have to ask?
☆ of course she would
☆ even if she finds worms a little bit creepy she’d take care of you
☆ you would be living in a nice little terrarium with anything a worm could ask for. plenty of nutrient rich soil, moss, leaves, twigs, etc.
☆ she’d even give you some grapes from her harvest !
☆ would sit your terrarium in front of the tv with her to catch up on the newest episode of ‘pink princess crusaders’ after a long day
olivia.
☆ “i think you’ve had too much to drink, dear.”
☆ the real question is would victor be okay with having a worm for a step parent
☆ her chats with jodi and caroline become a bit different to say the least
☆ who is going to taste wine and listen to classical music with her now
☆ she attempts to give you a drop of wine as an experiment, but it’s not the same
☆ would lewis even honor a marriage between a woman and a worm? what would the governor think?
☆ maybe she’s had too much wine to drink tonight
☆ the verdict is yes but not as much, you’d be more like a beloved pet
claire.
☆ she’d be willing to give it a shot
☆ you’d live comfortably as a worm in her care. nothing too fancy or extravagant. just a simple worm’s life
☆ she would share some of her salad with you
☆ well this is awkward
☆ claire’s a pretty quiet woman and you’re a worm so you don’t do much talking
☆ you two mainly sit in silence and stare at each other
☆ she wonders how she ended up in this situation
☆ still better than working at joja
lance.
☆ he’s more curious about how you would have managed to become a worm in the first place
☆ was it a cruel curse laid upon you by a powerful sorcerer? one of camilla’s jokes? was it by your own free will?
☆ he’s genuinely stumped
☆ spends more time inquiring about your new worm form than answering the question at hand
☆ this man is a romantic at heart though so he immediately says yes
☆ he lets you travel with him on his patrol duties
☆ except to ginger island. he can’t risk one of the parrots snatching you off his shoulder. his heart almost breaks at the thought
☆ your love transcends all forms. you are a happy worm. congratulations !
rasmodius.
☆ did you get into his cauldron again?
☆ he says he would try to change you back into your previous form
☆ avoiding the question at its finest
☆ he may be a powerful being with magic on his side but love has a grudge against him
☆ first he gets a divorce, his second relationship was an affair with a married woman, and now his third partner has somehow become a worm????
☆ after some pestering he sighs and says yes. he would love you even if you were a worm.
☆ he doesn’t exactly know how it would play out. would he have to turn himself into a worm?
☆ how would morgan react if they found their magic teacher was now a worm living with his wormy significant other
☆ morgan would probably enjoy this outcome actually
isaac.
☆ definitely not.
☆ but at the same time...he wouldn’t want a bird to eat you..
☆ or yoba forbid some worm loving rando comes and takes you away…
☆ he wouldn’t splurge on a fancy living space for you, sorry (“what do worms even do besides squiggle around in dirt all day?”)
☆ but he would reluctantly search for soil, leaves, and foragables for you to squiggle in
☆ has accidentally almost fed you a poisonous berry on more than one occasion…
☆ shares some of his own food when he hasn’t foraged anything for you (“what do you mean worms can’t have glazed butterfish?!”)
☆ it’s times like these where he looks into the mirror and wonders if he’s actually going insane

Do the SVE characters make their beds in the morning?
Lance - Mostly sleeps in a sleeping bag and cots because he is always on the move. Has his clean-up routine down to a science.
Wizard - Magically! 🪄 ✨️
Victor - He is particular about the housekeeper touching things so he makes his own bed (and does his own laundry).
Claire - Most days, she's so sleepy. She rolls out of the bed and rushes to work.
Sophia - Yes, like throws the sheets and blanket back but doesn't straighten or tuck.
Olivia - Maid would make it.

Farmer's life at Joja could be a really funny dark sitcom
Warning, long. I'm trying to make a background for my farmer but I'm really sleep deprived and this spiraled out of control. Just imagine a show depicting the daily life between the walls of one of Joja's mega office buildings. And considering it's Stardew Valley we're talking about you could put anything in here. And it just gets better with SVE.
Uniquely weird coworkers? Just re-watch the Joja segment at the beginning of the game. Psychopathic bosses? Of course, it's Joja after all. Work related shenanigans and conflicts? They are the backbone of every work related sitcom. Really dark comedy? There's a skeleton in one of the cubicles. But we can have so much more!
Remember Claire's movie, where a Joja inspired evil corporation put mind controlling substances in their soda to create zombie consumers and take over the world? Who's to say that Joja didn't actually try it at some point, only to cover it up later? And that Joja didn't experiment this stuff, and more, on their employees? Worker protection clearly isn't a priority in Ferngill Republic. Which leads to an episode in which the farmer has to figure out why his coworkers are acting weird this week.
Russian roulette is played every day with the cafeteria food (could be shit food, or poison or said weird experiments). Then there's the stress of having to negotiate a rise or explain your poor productivity results to your boss when there are literal corpses of former employees just laying around (my headcanon is that the skeleton was a former worker who tried to start a union and got shot point blank by a manager).
My other headcanon is that Joja has do deal with monster infestations really often. All the weird products, poor safety or hygiene regulations and all that misery will constantly attract monsters. And Joja doesn't care about the workers enough to monster-proof their building and would only cover up the incidents that get bad enough (as in multiple deaths). An episode with the farmer and 1-2 other coworkers hearing squelching sounds in one bathroom and after investigating realizing slimes are trying to get inside the building. The farmer, who just removed the drain cover to look inside the pipe quickly puts it back down only for purple ooze to come out from a slime that slammed against the grate. Cue panic because iridium slimes are very dangerous. No one gets close to that bathroom for weeks and the only reason adventurers eventually get called in to kill the silmes is because they broke the bathroom door open and spilled in the hallway and into a manager's office while he was there.
The farmer already recognizes multiple adventurers due to the amount of times they had to call different guilds to deal with the monsters in the building (maybe Zuzu doesn't have it's own guild since all those people in one place would make monsters less likely to attack but any adventurer that happen to have business in the city becomes responsible with dealing with monster emergencies). Said adventurers wouldn't really recognize the farmer since he would be just another employee in the mass of people temporarily evacuated, but there's a popular security camera video circulating among adventurers with a Joja worker fighting a shadow brute with a chair in a dimly lit hallway. Sure, that person can't really damage the monster without magical weapons and it all ends with the Joja worker managing to run out of the door or out of the window, but they are still very impressed that some random guy had the courage to face a monster unarmed and survive without major injuries. There could be multiple videos or stories passed around the internet with the farmer dealing with monsters since they were the only ones brave enough to try to do something about them, and since the farmer doesn't get hurt they are considered pretty funny.
Joja could be using the monsters as a way of punishing uncooperative workers. You ask too many questions at work, you have to retrieve boxes from warehouse #7 that is currently a nest of shadow monsters. If the worker doesn't return they'll send someone else. This way they have an easy way to threaten people into submission. Naturally, the farmer ends up pissing the higher ups very often, which leads to the shadow brute video mentioned above, among others.
Actually Joja might have unique monsters, created when normal monsters and other supernatural beings spend too much time around Joja Cola.
You can go the horror route too. The building being haunted by former coworkers - silhouettes in the mirror at night, flickers some can see in the corner of their eyes, strange whispers when the farmer is about to fall asleep at the desk. Some hallways seem to go on for too long, time passes weirdly in some rooms, doors appearing and disappearing at random... the building is nearly an eldritch location at this point due to the amount of monsters and negative feelings building up between it's walls. Part of the reason some of the farmer's coworkers are acting weird is because they got replaced by the skinwalker that made the parking lot it's hunting ground.
Really, everything you can think of can be put here. I would go with a horror show with dark comedy elements for this, since the post got increasingly dark as I was writing it. Maybe the farmer even worked for Joja for far longer than it seems, since time is iffy there?
Below the cut are my first attempts at giving my farmer a backstory, and a few more details about my AU (because at this point is too big for a headcanon). It doesn't have much to do with the rest of the post, so feel free to skip this part. Also warning, it's kinda edgy and cringy, since I wanted a reason why the farmer, who in SVE is basically a genius with an absurd amount of talents, was a nobody who ended up in a dead-end office job. So I had to give the farmer multiple handicaps to explain this.
Also, what happened with that skeleton there? Sure, Morris is a dick and isn't a good boss but he wouldn't be able to just kill Claire and let her body in the store without consequences. So where the hell was the farmer working at?
***
As a slight explanation to tie all this mess together, my farmer got kicked out of the house at a very young age, like didn't even finish high school kinda young. Lived on the streets for a while and eventually got hired by Joja - the only ones who would hire him with no education orcredentials at this point (it also explain why he's rooting through the trash so casually, or why he's willing to eat anything, including raw fish and algae). In my headcanon, aside from normal workers, Joja also hires desperate people that no one cares for and ships them in certain isolated locations. These workers have different and much more dangerous jobs than normal Joja employees, and the death rate is pretty high.
They have gated mini-towns set up with their own apartments, offices, cafeterias, etc where these workers basically spend all their time in - and they become closer to indentured workers than normal employees. So everything mentioned above would happen in more than one building. The farmer would get a small salary from which he'd have to pay Joja back for the rented apartment, food, uniform, supplies and all that, which would leave him very little money. This is a strategy to keep people from being able to leave, plus there is a high fee that those who leave have to pay for breaking up their contract (which would explain why he moves in on the farm with only some spare change in his pockets). The farmer only managed to escape due to grandpa's letter.
All this is a well known secret. Due to the prolonged war, the political class of Ferngill Republic was vulnerable to Joja's bribes and promises and not only changed laws in their favor but also constantly closes it's eyes at Joja's abuse. Also, the economy isn't doing well at this point and there are worries that the Gotoro Empire might turn the war in it's favor, so as long as Joja keeps making profits to keep the economy afloat no one will bother them. So horror (and funny) stories and videos from Joja pop up fairly often and Joja doesn't really bother to remove them from the internet since they don't fear any punishment. At this point there's an entire sub-class of jokes featuring Joja employees - imagine airplane food jokes, but with Joja and more death. Most adventurers are also aware of the monster problems Joja is creating but can't do much about it aside from killing the monsters when Joja bothers to report them.
So this would also explain why the farmer is so good at killing monsters from the beginning. He had a lot of experience with dealing with monsters while being unarmed and defenseless against them. Now that he got a sword, even a really shitty one, monsters got much easier to handle.

HI GUYS HI HI HI HI HI HI HI
anwyays so i saw posts abt how lances parents would be and idk if yall are like watching me or wtv but believe or not IVE THOUGHT OF THIS TOO!!!!!! (also been previously mentiomed in a former post of mine)
SO HERES SOME DOODLES
ignore the addition of ophelia, thats bo in disguise. these are doodles for a oneshot i had in mind where lance BEGS bo to take on a new persona so his parents can get off his ass about being in a relationship. (bo agrees, laughing his ass off.) this was pre-ophelia-as-bos-cousin era, so yum!!
Tumblr media
this is his mom shes super sweet and nice. shes loud and esily excitable, and also non magical. she knows JACK SHIT about guild stuff, but supports her husband and son anyways. shes also like. a REALLY GOOD COOK. LIKE AN EXCELLENT COOK. she grabs peoples cheeks and squeezes them like an old grandma. definitely gets teary eyed and hugs the living shit out of lance’s spouse when she meets them.
Tumblr media
heres both his mom and his dad. itnore how horribly i drew lances dad IGNORE IT its the wrost doodle on the list, but it shows him colored so wtv. hes like closed off, but super respectful. definitely rants about galdoran politics. okay, sure, he has a reputation of being cold hearted in the guild, but he too cried when he saw lances spouse. debating on whether or not he has magic. if he does, then its a low amount and practically useless. hes an adventurer for castle village, and he didnt really get to see his son a lot. its okay tho because they still occasionally talk. this guy sucks at chess. dunno why yall need to know that, but its true. hes basically the exact opposite of his wife. these two are so LOVEY DOVEY though, like an EMBARRASSING AMOUNT. they embarrass lance when they all go out together, actually.
Tumblr media
heres his mom, his das, lance, and bo in disguise. was this to show the contrast in how they are? yes. did lance get his taste in men from his mom? yeah. are all of lances previous girlfriends also closed off and kinda cold? … (yeah.) HIS MOMS SO CUTE LOOK AT HER
bo is also very attracted to lances dad, but hell never tell lance that.
Tumblr media
adirional picture.
THEYRE SO AWESOME I LOVE THEM SO MUCH.
Theyre very emotional people, too. lances dad is NOT afraid to cry, real.
never really figured out names for them, either, but i wanna take inspo from Toriel and Asgore with their naming system, where they practically SMASHED each others names together in order to name their son.
Like.
Lance?
Leon?
Cadance?
FUCK IF I KNOW BUT I WANT THEIR NAMES TO BE LIKE NAMES YOU COULD GET LANCE FROM YK.
I think itd be funny to think thar these two went into naming their kid totslly unprepared.
like, they had 9 months to think of that name and all of them but a week was dedicated to decoratiing the nursery, laying down punishment rules, deciding what direction theyd push him in, and how theyd break the news to their family and friends. (all but the building of the nursery was decided two months before the actual baby arrived.)
i think theyre so silly. i also believe they take themselves a lot less seriously than they may seem. i love them

This is quite an odd one to request, but in ONE of Lance's marriage dialogues, he mentions about his father only ONCE, so I'm kinda interested to see what ideas you would have for Lance's parents and his relationship with them... Sorry if it's too much (´-﹏-`;)
I'M SORRY FOR THIS LATE BUT BETTER THAN EVER
Also, I didn't find anything about his father and just..huh, where did you find that? Maybe you got him mixed up with Lance's teacher?🤔
This is one of the reasons why it was so short.. no idea about his parents, it's even hard to build any theories
So all we know about her is that Lance used the family recipe for Luau.
I can only assume that he is on pretty good terms with his parents, but at the same time he does not say anything about them. (maybe we will learn something more in sve 2.0, who knows)
Most likely, just the initiative of his love for books came from the family, which subsequently led to the fact that he discovered magical abilities.
Perhaps his parents (or one of them was) an adventurer or a wizard. At least I want to believe it, because otherwise I can't explain why he studies monsters and magic with such love.
As for his teacher, it's like, damn, they must be really cool, because Lance calls they Master Dragons for a reason (and it also makes it clear that there are dragons in the world sve..cool).
I really can’t write much about him, because I can’t even assume something about them, since they are not mentioned anywhere at all.
Maybe they will say, like Lance, that the farmer has great potential and that they hide their abilities (how naive)
i really hope you like this and please tell me about lance's father because damn i don't know where you found this dialogue( i'm really interested too)and I also hope later I will add it, because hell, it's really not enough ..

I've been really busy, so I haven't been able to write anything I've wanted to in the past little bit. Regardless, I'd really like to expand on the concept of Trans Morris and my HCs revolving around him. They've been sitting in my brain for a while, and I'd love to share them with the audience.
Word Count: 1.5k! CW/TW: uhhhh not sure what to put here but Has themes of self doubt, dysphoria, and less upbeat societal stuff around the beginning OH ALSO UNSAFE BINDING IS BRIEFLY MENTIONED.
୨﹒Trans Morris HCs
︶꒦꒷︶꒷꒦︶♡︶︶꒦꒷︶꒷︶︶꒦꒷
- I see Morris as a Trans guy who experiences dysphoria. (He/Him) - I imagine he first realized he didn't align with his agab as a young child. He realized he had more of a connection toward masculinity and toward other boys, but it never really clicked until he was older. All he knew was that he didn't like wearing anything overly feminine, and that he preferred to wear his hair up to make it look short. I imagine as a kid he’d pitch an utter fit being forced to wear any kind of dress, but it was just brushed off as him being a defiant kid. - Its not that his parents wouldn’t have been supportive, they just didn’t understand what his issue was, and were left even more confused when kid him tried to explain it. - He went through his teen years knowing something was off but never quite understanding what it was. There weren’t answers for him in any of the books he looked through, nor were there answers around him. It was isolating. It felt right being mistaken for a guy when his hair was up, and it felt mortifying when people corrected themselves. But it shouldn’t have. Why did it feel like that? - He was raised entirely oblivious to LGBTQ+ identities. After all, he was raised sometime in the late 80s/early 90s. Identifying as anything within the community was still seen as a taboo, so to say. He had heard about it in passing, and even heard about it in a somewhat positive light from a few people, but was too nervous to look into it himself. For every positive thing he heard, there were dozens of negative things. I heavily HC this man as having been bullied. It was terrifying to him. He was terrified of the possibility of being something that wouldn’t be accepted. Of something which was such a large part of other peoples’ existence being something that caused his more turmoil. A part of him felt like he was just looking for attention, and the other part felt like it’d be a dead end and that he’d end up worse off than he already was. He’d likely look into it too much and mislabel himself. Self doubt! Confusion! Imposter Syndrome! - Sometime in his teens he started feeling horrible dysphoria and ended up giving himself one of those choppy botched haircuts on numerous occasions. - Dysphoria hoodies were practically an everyday outfit. If anyone asked, he’d just tell them that hoodies and sweatpants were comfier to be in. - He fell victim to the bandage binding trap. He wanted to try to use anything to hide his chest, and so, he tried to bandage bind. Obviously after a bit of trial and error he realized this was an outright horrible idea and stopped bothering, resorting right back to the hoodie grind. - He started fully transitioning sometime when he was in his 20s. - He had absolutely no idea what the fuck being trans was, nor what how he felt was considered. He was nervous over bringing up how he felt, as it seemed entirely alien. He felt like it wasn't worth bringing up to anyone, and that it was in his head, really. If his parents didn’t know what he was talking about, if none of his peers understood, then clearly the issue was him. Right? He didn't know what transness was until he caught a conversation from a coworker within his department about it and realized their experiences and emotions aligned with his.
- Bro was standing there in his Joja apron thingy like :O.
- He didn’t confront them about it or anything, but knowing someone else felt similar to how he did was enlightening. It felt like there might’ve been people out there who understood his experiences, and that he wasn’t alone. There were people like him, and they were thriving.
- Eventually he’s able to find more information and resources pertaining to his feelings and he looks into LGBTQ+ identities as a whole. This is when he’s finally able to seek gender affirming care for himself, and also be able to better understand himself as a whole.
- The day this man started binding a weight was seemingly lifted off of his shoulder. It was more difficult for him to find a binder at first due to his size, but when he did… He stared at himself in the mirror for a solid 10 minutes in disbelief. It was his first ever experience with gender euphoria, and he could have cried on the spot.
- Coming out to his parents was another weight off of his shoulders. Well- after the long-winded explanation he had to give. His parents weren’t unsupportive, but they were entirely clueless like he was. It took a lot of examples and carefully expanding on concepts for them to finally start wrapping their head around his identity. They’re still a bit confused, but they’ve got the spirit!
- He actually let his mom help him with figuring out his preferred name! His dad rushed in to give his own input and ultimately they decided on his current name as one he liked :3
- Pre-T his voice was lower on the register, but after taking testosterone his voice noticeably changed. He didn’t have to force a lower voice when speaking anymore. Of course, he did end up making it a habit to force a higher voice around people he didn’t quite trust anymore. At least until it was difficult to.
- Adjusting to testosterone injections was… not fun! I don’t headcanon he necessarily has a fear of needles, but he does hesitate every fucking time he gives himself a shot if there isn’t a distraction around for him to focus on. - bro has definitely done his T shot in a dingy ass joja restroom before
- I personally headcanon that even as a lower ranking Joja Employee he didn’t have much of anyone to speak to, so there wasn’t really anyone for him to come out to aside from his parents.
- He worked overtime constantly so that he could eventually afford top surgery.
- Post OP was even better than he could’ve imagined. After getting over the soreness of the procedure and resting for as many days as he could before the Joja demons wrangled him back into work, he stared at himself in the mirror and just grinned. Seeing himself the way he had always wanted to look was everything he could’ve dreamed of and more. He felt sheer gender euphoria and if it wasn’t for the fact that he was still sore as hell from surgery he would’ve probably pranced around.
- He was able to walk around his house with a shirt off more often, if not, almost all the time during the hotter seasons.
- Over the years I imagine he grew into his identity more and came to be really proud of who he is, and what he’s been through. Though, he still prefers only bringing his identity up to people he can trust. He’s still skittish over the thought of being chastised by others and still worries about the possibility of being outed to someone he can’t trust. Hate him for being a corporate drone, don’t hate him for who he is!
- He still experiences dysphoria, but it isn’t even remotely as bad as it was in his younger years. He can still be found in blanket-nests on the off day though, and he’s definitely snuck into a hoodie after work on numerous occasions. Why doesn't he wear a hoodie during work hours, you may ask? He's a FORMAL man who craves FORMALITY and STYLE. Removing his suit on work hours would be like removing a part of his soul, it'd be embarrassing stepping out and being seen as so informal for once.
- He looks at his surgery scars fondly, thinking of how far he’s come and how much farther he’ll inevitably come. - Coming out to any friend he makes is ultimately nerve-wracking for him, but he always says it with such a prideful, soft smile. - Despite being more discreet about his identity, he would 1000% be happy helping younger trans folk figure out their identities and help them grow into themselves. - He's not the best boss in the world, but by god is he great when it comes to inclusivity and making sure everyone is heard and accommodated and heard on that department. He's the guy who would absolutely risk his job yelling at some executive over their backwards ass views. Yes, he's a corporate suck-up, but he's not a big enough one to let that slide. - Bro absolutely reps that tacky Joja Brand Pride Merchandise every pride month. (and all year, for that matter. pride is an all year affair and hes letting it be known no matter how awful the mug is) - Eventually, with a lot of hesitation on his end, he openly comes out as trans and is greeted with just about nothing but support from the acquaintances he has. It took him by surprise for sure, but he could've swore he viewed the valley in a much softer light that day, and even moreso post community center. - After this, he's able to go to the beach topless, which was one of his longtime future goals. Not only does it feel reaffirming, but its the marking of him fully coming into everything regardless of his age. Plus, no longer would the days of a tank top and socks and sandals remain!

My headcanon for Isaac
I’ve been thinking about this dialogue a lot and wanted to share my headcanon for future reference.
Tumblr media
Isaac can handle the cold weather and doesn’t have to wear many layers of clothes in the winter.
Instead, he sweats easily and most likely to get heat stroke on hot weather.
He also sweats in Spring.
Fall and Winter is the only season he won’t have to deal with the heat.
He hates hot drinks (won’t recommend giving them to him in Summer).
Gets super grumpy when there’s nothing for him to beat the heat.
This guy lives to pay the AC bills if they have any in SDV timeline.

Heya, Mouse. I hope you're doing well. 😊
So, I recently got the Mr. Qi mature event again in my most recent save. A personal issue I have with this event is that no one, including your own spouse, ever hint at the event at all. Yes, the Farmer can't talk about it, but surely they'd be acting differently after such a scary and traumatic event? So my request is this: How would the sdv/sve marriagables + Krobus (bc I know my shadow roomie would be worried too) feel about the Farmer acting differently after they were found after the Qi event? Like, maybe the Farmer's more jumpy and sullen after what had happened, but they can't say anything because of the seal.
Hi, hello! 👋 I'm doing fine! ☺️ Thanks for your question, and I really apologize for taking so long to reply 😅 I decided to post here about only Bachelors + Krobus, hope you don't mind. Anyway, thanks again for caring and for the ask! Enjoy ❤️
Sam:
Given that the Farmer was found unconscious in the forest, Sam immediately thought that the reason for their behaviour was that they had been frightened by a wild bear or wolves. No wonder: you are lying defenceless and predators are walking around you, wanting to eat you. The young musician's guesses are far from the truth of what really happened to Farmer, but whatever happens, Sam will be there for his love, supporting them and comforting them.
Elliott:
Poor Elliott nearly had a stroke when he saw Farmer lying in a hospital bed at the Clinic. Taking them by the hand, the writer began to ask what had happened to his spouse, but was quickly silenced when he saw Farmer getting even worse. Elliott apologises for his panic and will do his best to make Farmer feel better. He still hopes that Farmer will be able to tell what happened in the future.
Shane:
Shane feels angry and wants to punch someone (or something) with his fist, which is the reason for Farmer's sadness and constant tension. He is even ready to fight with the whole world if he has to - no one dares to offend the people close to him and get away with it. But realising that Farmer's rage won't help him in any way, Shane tries to comfort them and calm them down. Even suggests they go to the therapist he went to himself after that event on the hill. Magic, not magic, he doesn't know shit about it. All he needs right now is to be there for Farmer and give them all the help and support they need.
Sebastian:
Sebastian can't calm down himself now. He knows that the Farmer fights monsters every day, which is the pure nightmare fuel of many people's lives, and the fact that his spouse met someone that even scared them.... However, Sebby is trying her best not to show his worries, because right now the Farmer needs someone to protect them. And he will be brave for them now, just as Farmer was brave for Sebastian and the other people they were protecting.
Alex:
Alex went into full protective mode, not letting anyone he deemed suspicious near Farmer. The young athlete thinks that some tourists have decided to attack and harm Farmer, as many people (including some unpleasant ones) have come to Stardew Valley, to admire the local town and relax. Unfortunately, Farmer can't tell the real reason, and that's what kills them the most - it's the inability to tell Alex what happened. However, gentle words and cuddles in bed are just what Farmer needs after the traumatic event.
Harvey:
Breathing exercises, sedation, elimination of junk food..... Harvey doesn't know what happened to the Farmer, but he certainly knows how to help them. Alas, in matters magical he will not help in any way, so does not even know of its existence. But Harvey will definitely do his best to help deal with his spouse's depressed mood. He promise to them, everything will be alright, doctor's word!
Magnus:
Magnus know very well about the silencing spell, as he knows this school of magic very well. And the fact that his spouse was acting like a frightened lamb after that strange event made him think about this possible option. Touching their hand, Magnus was scalded like fire, leaving no doubt. Magic. Dark, unfamiliar magic. The Farmer no longer needed to try to say anything, Rasmodius understood all at once. The wizard would assure his lover that he would definitely help them, no matter who cursed Farmer.
Lance:
Lance didn't feel magic as subtly as the same Rasmodius or Camilla, but he could feel the incomprehensible dark aura that wrapped around Farmer's neck like ropes. His one penetrating look into his consort's frightened eyes was enough for Lance to signal to some his fellow mages, including same Camilla and Magnus, that something out of the ordinary had happened. The gallant adventurer also remembered to kiss them on the forehead and envelope them in a tight hug, reassuring them and promising them that everything would be all right.
Victor:
Victor, seeing how the constant tension and depressive state is affecting his beloved spouse, he tries to find a therapist to help Farmer. Poor Victor cannot watch them suffer, so will offer his support and convinced them accept professional help. The sad irony is that Farmer can't tell anyone, no matter how hard they try. Still, they're glad Victor won't leave them alone.
Krobus:
Krobus doesn't realise what exactly happened to Farmer, but shadow person can feel them exuding alien magic and a restless aura after they returned from the clinic. Never, no matter what dangerous adventures they had been on, had the Krobus seen the Farmer so frightened. The fact that they wouldn't tell him anything tensed the shadow person even more. It's unlikely that Farmer would lie to him like this if they had always told Krobus everything about their adventures before. Something is wrong, and Krobus, worried about his friend, thinks that maybe Magnus or Marlon can help Farmer.

isaac enjoyers are we ready for 2.0??
anyway here's a thing because i'm a Super Incredible Miraculous Person, a simp,...these were supposed to just be headcanons but idk what is anymore!! just take it!!
this was supposed to be a lot freakier but it didn't fit very well here lawl maybe i'll make That into its own separate post
cw: injury, blood
- it started the second he spoke to you for the first time in the railway at the crimson badlands.
- 'spoke' is being generous, it was more like he huffed at your mere existence.
- he needed no introduction for you. he had heard about the seemingly ordinary farmer who had achieved so much from nothing while managing a successful farm. in such a short amount of time at that. it's all the entirety of the castle village guild was talking about.
- he was known to be naturally distrusting of newcomers and outsiders, ask almost anyone who joined the guild after him, but you were setting off every alarm bell in his head.
- you used to be a regular citizen working a soul sucking mundane corporate job like anybody else in the city, but now look at you. you’ve explored every floor of the mines in the valley, reached the top of the caldera in a day without life threatening injuries, and now you're being asked to lend your assistance to the castle village guild by the witch camilla herself. not to mention the fact that your farm was so well known that it ended up in a column on the castle village newsletters.
- frankly, isaac was jealous.
- he'd rather run around in the desert half naked and unarmed than ever admit that though.
- to you he just seemed like the edgy lone wolf type, you had met plenty of those kinds of people already, but you didn't think it would be like this.
- it's like he had already decided you weren't trustworthy and the only time you've ever really spoken to this man was when he showed you a map of the badlands!
- he didn't pick on you or anything, but every brief conversation you have with him ends with snide remarks.
- he even rolls his eyes when you offer him a bottle of water on a particularly hot day.
- alesia would suggest that you come join her and isaac on whatever job they had to do for the day, but you were always put off by the 'stay out of my way' look in isaac's eyes.
- alesia just offers you a small smile and an expression that reads 'maybe another time' and snaps her head towards isaac who feigns ignorance.
- he's voiced his concerns about you before. alesia and jadu don't seem convinced that you're some kind of traitor out to get them and with camilla it's hard to tell whether she's joking around or not.
- they're all more impressed about you rising in the ranks so quickly with little to no prior experience.
- just because they're all willing to accept your aid and put faith in your abilities doesn't mean he is.
- alesia teases him about how much he talks about you even if you haven't been around the badlands or the guild for a couple of days and his face goes visibly red lol.
- he just averts her gaze, coughs, and turns to walk away as she stifles her laughter.
- maybe he does talk about you a lot, but that doesn't mean anything! in fact, why aren't more people talking about how obviously suspicious you are?
- something shifts one day when the number of monsters roaming the desert is large enough to make him come down from his usual spot on the outpost and unsheathe his sword.
- he may be knowledgeable on strategy and the most optimal weapons to use, but he isn't prepared that day. even when he downs a spare elixir to replenish and increase his strength, it's as if the hoard is growing larger with every monster that falls.
- he hears the sound of a fallen adventurer's sword piercing through flesh before he sees it happen.
- time seems to slow as he looks down at his own body for the wound that he hadn't even felt yet, but is taken aback when he sees his relatively unharmed torso. no blade pierced through his skin.
- he's even more shocked when he sees a figure out of the corner of his eye, their back almost against his, and crimson blood dripping onto the sand. he knows it's you before you even say anything.
- the fallen adventurer gets knocked back and vanishes into nothing but thin air, leaving only the sword with blood dripping down the blade.
- he opens his mouth to speak, but you beat him to it. "whatever you're going to say to me, save it. we don't have the time."
- you both make it out of there with tired legs and bodies drenched in sweat.
- the blood from your wound has seeped through your clothes, creating a giant red stain on your shirt and pants.
- "i wasn't gonna let you die out there."
- isaac can't even look at you, rather out of guilt than malice, but he knows he has to get you out of there before you lose too much blood.
- "i know."
- he puts your arm around his shoulders and his own around your waist in order to help you stand and walk, even if you don't need it.
- maybe the blood loss is playing tricks on your mind or the desert railway echo messes with sound, but you swear you hear him speak to under his breath.
- "i won't let you die either, y'know."
- thanks to the convenience of teleportation and your nexus, you arrive at harvey's clinic before you can pass out.
- you definitely hear a shriek from waiting patients when you walk into the lobby soaked in your own blood, but harvey just sighs and escorts you to the room you've become oh so familiar with.
- you're definitely in for a scolding after you get bandaged up.
- the next time you run into isaac is, ironically enough, when he's standing atop the castle village outpost.
- you notice the beads of sweat on his shirtless back and offer him a bottle of water from your bag before heading back down in the direction of the stone warp rune.
- this time he mutters a 'thanks' when he takes it.
- before you can turn back to go back to the safety of your nexus, you hear him call your name from the edge of the outpost. when you look back he's standing with his elbows propped over the railing and looking right down at you.
- "...and thanks for...saving my life." he says with an embarrassed look on his face, averting your gaze before coughing and shooing you away with his hand.
- "yeah yeah, now get out of here." there's a dry playfulness in his voice that you haven't heard from him before and you just laugh before teleporting back to your nexus, a light blush dusting your cheeks.

National Weed Your Garden Day, pt. 1
Would the bachelors help weed with the Farmer?
Sebastian: Heh heh... only if I can smoke it! Is it noon? *shades eyes to look at sky* Too hot. (Would help if it's the middle of the night)
Sam: I wanna help! I wanna help! (Keeps skipping between rows. Sings songs to entertain you. Makes it a game. Gets major sunburn).
Alex: Those weeds won't know what hit 'em. *flexes muscles* (Super helpful. Gets a nice tan.)
Harvey: Dandelions make good soup. The greens make a good salad. They are full of vitamins A, B, C, and D, and potassium, iron, and zinc. I will gladly help you. *dons a wide brimmed hat* (Wears plenty of sunscreen. Keeps you hydrated with a bottle of water. Is the most helpful. Makes dinner when you are done.)
Magnus/Wizard: (Uses magic to clear the field faster. Would probably sell the weeds for smokes.) Now what shall we do?
Shane: Yes. We only want the best grazing for the chickens. Don't want Charlie eating the bad stuff. (Moves slow but does good work, hangover or not)
Elliott: Ah. Dandelions are so pretty. Look at the butterflies. I will write a poem. *wanders off during project*
Victor: (Reads all about the good weeds and bad weeds. Creates a plan with the most efficiency).
Lance: AAAATAAAAACK! *laughs* (Yes. He attacks the weeds with vigor. Maybe burns out halfway through, but definitely makes it fun!)

Headcanons about Victor and Lance and a potential friendship between the two
This was supposed to be a short post, now it's a whole essay. Also English is hard.
Headcanon #1: The book about the Fern Islands Victor reads in his 2 hearts event was written by Lance.
After all, as far as we know he's the only First Slash adventurer that writes books and the game specifically mentions that he currently writes a research novel, so it would make sense for Lance to keep journals about his adventures and discoveries and to publish them occasionally. This would be an accessible and entertaining way for the population that isn't directly involved with magic and monsters to read about the dangers of the world, the way they can stay safe and who can they address if they need help and an easy way for the First Slash to raise funds for the guild.
Headcanon #2: Victor has a small crush on Lance, not the romantic kind, but the "this is the coolest guy ever!" kind.
Monster hunting and magic aren't a secret in SVE, there are museums, government sectors and laws dedicated to them, Camilla can control who enters Castle Village despite the fact that normal people also live there and monsters are dangerous enough to threaten entire towns so important adventurers and wizards are probably well known by the public, if not to the same level as celebrities, at least as experts in their fields, like real life famous doctors or archaeologists. And some of them are definitely involved in politics.
Lance is the First Slash's second in command, he's good looking and charismatic, he's called a legend by his own guild-mates and he's the one sent by his guild at shareholder meetings in Zuzu City to represent them so he's probably one of the more famous adventurers. Definitely a name that Victor, who reads books about monsters and keeps up with news about adventurers, would recognize.
He's also the nicest and most approachable adventurer yet so he'd probably have no problem answering questions and giving explanations and he likes to talk about his discoveries so his writing would be full of interesting details. It's easy to imagine Victor seeking out his books (or even articles or interviews etc.) over stuff made by other grumpy adventurers who are more tight lipped about their adventures and only answer monosylabically when they're not giving out boring warnings about different dangers without any other explanations.
Plus he comes across as a fearless and highly competent adventurer, since he's both a really good fighter and a good mage in a world where most seem to be either one or the other, and both are qualities that we know Victor respects. And in addition to all of this Lance is also an accomplished researcher (to the point where his findings are displayed in museums) and Victor is a nerd so I think Lance could easily became one of Victor's favorite adventurers and even role model.
Headcanon #3: If the farmer marries Lance he and Victor will become great friends.
Imagine Victor's surprise when one day the farmer casually strolls into Pelican Town with Lance and starts presenting him as their future husband. He'd be shy at first but will soon enough find the courage to approach Lance one night at the saloon. Lance would be curious at first (he mentions that he's not very comfortable in "civilian" spaces) but won't rudely brush Victor off like the Castle Village adventurers during the Spirits Eve festivity (the farmer was a guild member and still got ignored so I assume Victor's conversation with them was even shorter). After Victor will start asking questions about monsters Lance will chuckle and start talking about some of his adventures to Victor's utter delight.
From Lance's perspective, I think Victor (and Abigail and Sebastian too since they are also interested in monsters and adventures) will be the first to make him feel truly welcomed in the town. The townspeople are either weary about magic and monster business, like Andy, or scared, like Marnie. Whenever Marlon or Rasmodius are in Pelican Town nobody speaks with them or gets anywhere near them, and Lance also has the "luck" of being a complete stranger. So seeing Victor and his friends enjoying their discussions and coming to talk with him whenever he goes into town will help Lance in his first weeks, when the Pelican Town residents are still getting used with him.
Aside from his interests in monsters, Victor also has an analytical mind and after a few discussions Lance will notice it. He will start speaking with Victor about his research to see how he'll react and after Victor proves to be good at noticing details and connections he'll let Victor read some of his papers. Sure, Victor can't help with magical research since it seems based on feeling the different energies but he can help with maps, patterns, number crunching and even biological and environmental stuff.
It won't be long before the farmer will start seeing Lance and Victor at the farmhouse or the saloon with their heads bent over a table full of papers discussing the average weight wilderness golems have each season or if the blood contents of gemfishes change depending of the combination of gems they carry on their scales.

Curious, will you ever be considering involving marriage candidates from Stardew mods (Ex: Expanded, Ridgeside, etc.) to your headcanons? Of course you should not feel the obligation to do so as you do spend quite the effort on your writing, but it's just something that has been wandering in my head for a bit, that's all.
Of course keep up the great work! It's such a treat reading your headcanons :]
Hi! Thank you for the question, I've been meaning to mention this somewhere. Unfortunately, I will not be doing the characters outside of the vanilla game anytime soon. This is because A), I don't know anything about them, and B), I just prefer the classics lol. There are some blogs floating around that do headcanons for the expanded characters, and I'm sure there's stuff on Ao3 (though I haven't ventured too far there), but for me I'm just going to be sticking to the mains.
Anyways, thank you for the compliments! It means a lot. :)
