when you are reading the books/notes that are found in some levels you can typically see at the bottom "REMAINING TEXT IRRELEVANT"
this means that v1 cared about the rest
for example, when the ferryman wrote about how gabriel saved him from the sea, v1 cared enough about that to not write it off, and that really makes me think about things
I fear loss, I want to keep its love. What will be left if you so carelessly destroy what you've worked to hard on; only created to be put up and then turned just to scrap. What will be left of your game if you throw away a character meant to live, meant to comfort, meant to be the star?
Oh for I plead, keep my dearest Gabriel alive. If its gone, then where is the fun in the game? If its gone, where is the community? If its gone, then we might as well just refund the game - there is NO point in ULTRAKILL without that angel. I've grown so attached. I forgot about how much I truly need it or something like so until I beat 6-2 and saw the story once more. Everyone loves that angel. Its gone through so much and done so much more than you could ever realize.
I call it the comfort angel for a reason - its how I get through my days. If somethings so tough I can just imagine its comfort, "It'll be okay, my little angel. I'm proud of how far you've gone and believe in you."
Spare my dear angel. Not just for me, as one person isn't enough to change the game.
Consider the community. Consider how you've changed us. Consider the impact on the sales and love for the game.
