when I do my testosterone gel, I write “HADES” in large letters in the gel with my finger while saying “I make my SELF in YOUR image”.

it works as an offering, a spell, and just a fun thing where I think Hades gets a chuckle out of the turning of that phrase. also helps me relieve a little bit of that leftover religious trauma.

For those who don't know, one way my gender fluidity manifests, is through name fluidity. Depending on how long you've been following me, you've probably seen me change my name at least once. Etymology is so interesting to me, I'm just too indecisive with too many choices to make a permanent one.

The reason i bring this up on this blog, is because I've been eyeing other names lately, and considering the concept of an omnist name. Similar to the idea of a witch name or changing a name with conversion, except I've converted to everything and nothing (a topic for a future musings post).

Let's call it an "altar" name for now, a name I keep at the altar and is only for religious purposes.

I'd use it for this blog, when I'm veiling, at religious places like quaker meeting, prayer, classes, talking to my tarot decks, writing, stuff like that.

I'm sure this happens to other people, thinking about religion feels much different from when I'm thinking about anything else.

For me, that includes my gender, it's something nonbinary that's indescribably different from any other nonbinary flavor I regularly experience.

So if my spirituality unlocks a secret gender when tapped into, perhaps I should give that part of me - maybe it's my higher self, whatever else - it's own name, y'know?

Do any other religious trans/nonbinary/genderfluid people relate? Have their own 'altar' name?

I'm not sure I'm happy with calling it an altar name either, we'll see. I don't want to call it an omnist name, it's not an exclusively omnist concept.

Surely there already is a name for this kind of name? Let me know. Or if I've explained all this terribly.

For safety reasons please do your own research. Especially regarding dosage, potency, and side effects. That said everything from Aletis root to Pleurisy root has been used to raise estrogen and treatment upons. Just throwing that out there for any trans witches out there. I mean obviously look these up, don't just trust me, do your research, but basically a literal feminization potion might be pretty damn doable. This also if I may means that in regards to HRT, God literally provided us the means and therefore has given it the seal of approval. At least I'd like to think she did.

Hello everyone 👋😘 I hope you all had a great weekend. I went to Wizard Fest over the weekend and I had so much fun. They had games and food and themed drinks that were awesome. I got me some a Twisted Butter Beer (Chardonnay, creme soda, butterscotch flavoring and whipped cream) we did not do good at the trivia but it was still a lot of fun. I'm definitely going for the VIP tickets next year. 😁

Wizard fest itself took place at Grove Vineyard/Winery in Gibsonville, NC. Very nice scenery, really beautiful outside area and a lot of fun. It was great seeing other trans individuals show up too. Like I'm not a fan of the Author of Harry Potter but I will always love the fantasy world of Witchcraft and Wizardry. 😁 It was so cute too. There were wizards and muggles of all ages there and wizards from other fantasy relms too. I can't wait for next year 😁.

Me and Jane drew some cards for the next season. I was thinking about the surgery I want.

1- This moment Where we are Who we are How we are

2- what we are leaving behind what we are moving away from what to let go of

3- where we are going what to move towards guidance

1- High Priestess. She is with me a lot. She reminds me to trust my intuition, teaches me to pull threads of wisdom from chaotic weather and the space between certainties.

2- Ace of Wands. LOL it looks like a dick. leaving it behind? That's not the surgery I wanted, but ok.

3- 5 of Wands. This immediately feels like moving towards struggle. Jane said, it's more like play, dance, movement. That one in the middle looks like Progesterone, so dramatic!

Later the cards seemed to click into place. Thinking about friends who's transitions seem to be moving fast. I'm so happy for them but sometimes I feel slow and clumsy by comparison.

2- Leaving behind the idea of a single path or a right way to transition. Time to forgive myself my failures, because failure doesn't really exist.

3- Know that my transition has never been linear and has always been multiple. Progress and goals mean different things to different people.

1- Some dreams need time to decipher but it's work that I'm good at. I interact with my past and my future simultaneously and my transition stretches out in both directions.

I think this might just be me needing more media with older queer people in it, but we are in desperate need of more transgender wizards (wizard as a gender-neutral term and can mean anyone, not just trans men).

Hear me out, centuries old trans character, being allowed to grey, and wrinkle as cis characters generally are, and able to live so many lifetimes helping others and understanding themselves.

Staff intricately carved with runes as a glamour or brewing ominously glowing and bubbling potions for their transition instead of hrt, runes and symbols that function similar to a trans pin adorning their robes in intricate silver or golden thread stitching. Tattoos across their skin of the stars and protection sigils covering over OR lining around to highlight top surgery scars, and living secluded in their forest tower tending to their garden, reading, aiding travellers and divining prophesies from the stars they commune with and just being allowed to wizard.

I think ofmd and wwdits have affected me a bit and now I crave more media with queer people that are not still incredibly young and in high school-mid 20s (not that there is anything wrong with that at all). It's just seeing that I may be able to get the chance to age as a trans person is amazing and I also want them to be silly and cast fireball too pleas
