Gotta love how Tim met Bernard in high school the year before he turned 16, moved to bloodhaven and dropped out of school, went tripping around the globe with Bruce for a year, went to a different high school again, made another trip round the globe for 6 months to save Bruce, got kidnapped and presumed dead for three months, only to be reunited with his friend Bernard at age 17.

he forgot about it, and when he met bernard later in life they found out after literally years that they had been online best friends. bernard wasn’t so much into the superhero side of things but he loved seeing someone be so into their interests. they were literally like ten and eleven. they should not have been using the internet.

but one day tim passively mentions it and bernard is all “BATMANROBIN101??? THAT WAS U??” and they can never believe that they knew each other that long

I love DC for dealing extensively with Tim/Bernard relationship and with the homophobia the latter faces, without brushing it off. Too often characters that are part of the lgbtq+ are secondary characters, and too often them being part of the community goes like "hey, i'm x" "oh nice." and nobody ever deals with it again. Thank you, DC, for TimBer.
