Idea For "The Witch Of Erised":
Long story short, one of the villians I thought up for my Snape/Hardbroom fanfics is The Witch Of Erised.
The Original Story: she was supposed to be an ancient witch, Delilah Cluannack, who's been imprisoned by Lucy Faiweather (https://theworstwitch.fandom.com/wiki/Lucy_Fairweather ) and the Hogwarts Four in a rare instance where the Ex-Codices (Murphy's Wizards) and the Estnes (Rowling's Wizards) had worked together.
Fast forward to the summer 1983 when Delilah had finally managed to free herself from her prison. However, with her being in the mirror for so long, she had gained its powers to know and manifest the desires of others. Eventually, she is confronted by Severus Snape and Constance Hardbroom until Delilah fled without a trace.
Yet, in 2006-2007, she is fought again by the duo. But, as Severus Snape had been revived from the dead with a potion containing the Resurrection Stone, Delilah would see Snape as her equal this time around.
The Second Version: Born in 1969-1970 to Bellatrix and Rudolphus Lestrange, Loveta/Lola Lestrange would grow up knowing the Dark Arts and of Pure-Blood Supremacy. Yet, both er mother and father were too engrossed in their cause to give the love and care Loveta/Lola needed and desired. When her parents were taken to Azkaban in 1981-1982, Loveta/Lola isolated herself from her peers and managed to find the Mirror Of Erised. Upon seeing her reflection with a loving family, Loveta/Lola became desperate to make it a reality. So much so, she had used magic to actually go within the realm of Erised. Unfortunately, she would be trapped with no one-not even Albus Dumbledore-being able to free her.
For years, the Wizarding World pressumed her dead until 2006-2007 when the now grown Loveta/Lola broke out of the mirror. Over the years of her captivity, she grew up in the Erised dimension and learned to gain the mirror's powers. And when she was freed, she had found Severus Snape who, himself, had been mutated by the Revival Potion (which had the Resurrection Stone as its ingredients). Thus, Loveta/Lola saw an equal in Severus.

Wolfstar Microfic: Euphoria
"What'd you call it? The Mirror of Erised? What's it do?"
"Just try it, tell us what you see."
"I don't understand, why's it showing me Moony when he's all the way over there?"
And then a laugh.
"Why's the Moony in the mirror kissing me??"
Remus' jaw dropped, but he couldn't help the warm and cozy feeling that was growing in his chest.
This was heaven.
This was perfection.
This...was euphoria.

Hypnosis
O you loathsome looking-glass,
Telling lies as bold as brass!
For the fourth time, Tom finds his way to this dungeon easily. The mirror awaits him, like a mute and mocking witness to the Lord Voldemort's only weakness. Y/N is waiting for him in the mirror.
Again and again, Tom comes down here with the firm intention to break the damned glass, only to end up watching Y/N grabbing his hand and pressing his fingers to her lips, kissing him on the cheek, hugging him.
Leaving is getting harder.

About The “Witch Of Erised”:
I’ve been trying to conjure about stories revolving around Severus Snape (”Harry Potter” Films) and Constance Hardbroom (1998 “The Worst Witch”). One plot would be them dealing with an OC, Erebus, the legendary “Witch Of Erised”. Bascically a witch who had been imprisoned in the enchanted mirror for centuries.
With this, Snape would be confronted on where his heart truly lies; with Constance or with the late Lily Evans-Potter.
Initially, this plot-point would’ve been a part of Snape and Hardbroom’s reunion/rescue with their long-lost son Nick Hobbes (”Weirdsister College”). But with the subplot of Hobbes (along with Harry Potter and Mildred Hubble_ discovering his origins, along with R/The Cabal (”Hogwarts Mysteries”) hunting down a ressurected Snape (long story short, the had found a way to revive Snape prior to the events of this story), there’s alot to work with...
While a part of me want to have R/The Cabal somehow use Erebus/The Witch Of Erised to get Snape to join their side, another part of me is thinking of something else. Snape and Hardbroom could’ve dealt with Erebus/The Witch Of Erised when they were still dating and that confrontation could’ve drove Snape and Hardbroom to give marriage a try.
Which would sounds better?
-Erebus/The Witch Of Erised being used by R/The Cabal.
-Erebus/The Witch Of Erised being a seperate plot but BEFORE the events with R/The Cabal. --> The incident driving Snape and Hardbroom to marry.
-Erebus/The Witch Of Erised being a seperate plot AFTER R/The Cabal when Hardbroom confronts Snape about him truly loving her.

The Marauders are reading Harry Potter
Peter: No. No and no again, it's not true!
Sirius, gagging Peter with his hand and finishing Prisoner of Azkaban: what a bitch!
Remus: I'm pretty good.
James, distracting himself from the scene with the Erised mirror and wiping his crying face: whatever's up?
Remus: still alive, come to think of it.
Regulus, having read all the parts ahead of the others: which part is it?
Remus: the order of the phoenix...
Regulus: *great silence*.
Remus: what, am I dying here?
Regulus: *silence*
Remus, fidgeting: no, I don't want to read this, you're scaring me!
