You just started dating them, and now it’s your job to figure out just how they show their undying love for you.

The Prospector

Norton doesn’t have the money to buy or get you anything fancy. It hurts his heart a little because he would love to splurge a bit on you, but also being stuck in a dangerous manor game doesn’t help either of your situations. (Especially when you are low on clues to get food…)

Norton’s love language is Physical Touch. This man is (already) all over you from the beginning to the end of your relationship. He just loves the way you feel in his arms and it makes him feel a tone better.

You should also make sure to reciprocate these actions. Norton will probably feel even more loved by you knowing that you want to touch him as well.

Please hold this man gently in your hands as he rests his head on your lap.

The Journalist

Alice most likely has her time slots filled with random things she has to get done, so as her partner, she would like you to understand and accept the fact that she can’t spend a lot of time around or with you. What she can do, are Acts of Service.

What she lacks in time management she makes up for in getting things done for you. Too tired to grab your laundry? She’s on it. Need a snack but you're too lazy to go and get it? She’ll be right back babe. And as a last resort, she would take your place in a match for you. ONLY if something bad has come up and the two of you have discussed every possible route you can take. (and only if you promise to heal her up + kiss her bandages.)

Alice adores every part of you and she seems like one to not fall very easily. So be thankful and glad to have someone like her in your life, and don’t take her for granted.

Please be gentle with her cuts and bruises as you heal her back up again.

The Mercenary

Naib loves his alone time as much as he loves you, and he loves you a lot. Like Alice, you have to understand that he sometimes needs to be on his own for the time being. You search for him if you’d like, but he’d rather only wish you do if it’s an emergency. He will seek you out when he wishes for you to see you. (and that’s often.)

Naib seems like he would also dabble in Acts of Service. He’d do a lot for you, free of charge. Well, as long as you’ll cuddle him later. (Maybe make him something sweet?) The Mercenary would go as far as to kill for you, but would only wish to resort to this if necessary.

Naib is a man of few words and has his walls up at all times. (Like someone else I know… *cough cough* GANJI *cough cough*) You’ve managed to worm into his heart and he doesn’t plan on letting go any time soon.

Please hold this man in your arms when he inevitably wakes up from his recurring nightmares.

Cheerleader

Lily can be easily described as a bundle of energy just waiting to be released. She’s a great company and fills any void of loneliness in your bones. She is bright, funny, and overall an amazing person.

Lily has been cheering on others her entire life. Encouraging her brother as she watched him climb the ranks is a fond memory of hers and is cherished deeply. For these and many other reasons, Lily’s love language is Words of Affirmation.

To think that Lily’s enthusiasm would lack or stop when it came to you is just silly. If anything, it grows even stronger. You become her motivation to take on the day and the challenges that come with it. To run for her life if it meant she gets to see you at the exit game waiting for her arrival.

Please cheer her on as well, she needs you just as much as you need her.

The Seer

Eli should have predicted this, should’ve known he would fall head over heels for someone in the manor. But at last, you can’t change the past, or the future. Eli’s learned that the hard way. So while you're here with him now, let him bask in the light you radiate.

Eli Clark is one for Words of Affirmation alongside Physical Touch. Your skin is warm against his and envelops him completely. The Seer has always kept you close to him. Whether it be his hand entangled in yours, an arm around your waist, or anything else, he enjoys keeping you close to him.

Eli knows how words can affect people, so he always tries to compliment you when he can. Your outfit, your match performance, anything, and everything gets a smile and a nice compliment from him.

Please let this man wrap his arms around your waist as he hums an unrecognizable song in your ears.

The Priestess

Fiona is a self-proclaimed devotee to her god, but nowadays, she finds her devotion slipping. Her faith, disintegrating into ashes the longer she’s stuck in here. It’s given her a lot of time to think, but it’s also given her more time to spend with you. To forget about the unknown wonders of the world and just embrace your presence in its entirety.

Fiona Gilman’s love language is undoubtedly Quality Time. She enjoys nothing more than to spend time with you outside the games. She doesn’t mind what or who it’s with, just that you're there. She also seems like she’s a sucker for picnics. Just the two of you is best, but if you insist on having others then that’s fine as well.

The Priestess has spent most of her days devoting herself to her religion and belief, which you don’t shame her for. She knows that her beliefs may not align with others, but she appreciates that you don’t give her crap about it. If she ever does find her faith in her god restoring, she would love to show you some of her practices.

Please accompany her on walks long after your curfew with only the stars as your witnesses.

Bloody Queen

Mary was born with wealth and nobility to her name, she knows the power money has over people and the influence it can make. So she more than understands the currency of this strange manor. Not that she’s complaining though, she has more than enough clues and fragments to last a lifetime.

Mary Kriegburg's love language is Gifting. She has the clues too, so why not splurge on a new outfit for her daring? It’s the best way for her to show you that no amount of money can compare to the love that floods her unbeating heart.

If you do end up gifting something back to her, handmade or bought, she will cherish it. It may seem that Mary doesn’t like the handmade doll you made of her, but she sleeps with it during the nights you can’t accompany her. Her bed does feel cooler without you.

Please cherish everything she gives you, as she will do the same for you.

The Photographer

Joseph doesn't get to see you often, as the two of you have your respective matches you're forced to perform in. And for whom? You'll never know. When your games are done for the day, he'll choose to seek you out. While he does prefer his own alone time, he wishes to be with you.

Joseph Desaulniers's love language has to do with Quality Time. He spends his time wisely so that he can save more for when both of you are available. The Photographer enjoys afternoon tea parties with you. Talk about anything or keep your mouth shut, he won't mind either. Your presence warms his dead body and it's such a welcoming feeling for the man that he yearns for it.

Joseph has already lost his brother in an already tragic manner, the Photographer keeps you close to ensure you don't meet an unexpected demise while he's not there. No, he doesn't want you to go back to your dorm room yet. Just stay by him for a moment longer and let him know you're not going anywhere one last time.

Please soak up the sun with him as he takes another picture of you.

woke up loving the headcanon where Katelyn finds out that Andrew calls her "the cheerleader" –and mind you, she's very proud of being a cheerleader but she's been told that Andrew does it with a condescending tone and that just won't do– so she starts calling Andrew "the goalie".

When Andrew finds out he doesn't get mad but he's offended like c'mon Katelyn couldn't think of something else? He's getting associated with the position he, reluctantly, plays in Exy? That's just wrong. Of course he doesn't tell anyone that this bothers him, he will rather die than admit that the cheerleader got under his skin –annoying, intolerable, should've got rid of her when he got the chance. Whatever now's too late, Aaron's too attached and they're making progress, he won't harm the cheerleader but only because he's on good terms with his brother and he doesn't want that to change–. So he doesn't tell anyone but he, slowly, progressively, definitely not rushing, he doesn't care that much, stars referring to Katelyn as Katelyn.

The first few times he calls her different varieties of her name along with "the cheerleader". It goes like this:

"It's the cheerleader Kamila coming?"

"Will the cheerleader, uhm, Kara be there?"

"With who? The cheerleader? Kaylee?"

Aaron can see that something is going on but whatever it is will probably be good for them as brothers. After all, he still refers to Neil as Josten –and sometimes asshole, sue him Josten is an asshole–. So he doesn't say anything but just nods along and says "Yeah, Katelyn it's coming" "Yeah, Katelyn will be there".

When Andrew finally calls Katelyn Katelyn, Aaron can't stop smiling and he even texts Kate the news with a lot of emojis and exclamation marks ((((HE CALLED YOU KATELYN LIKE ACTUALLY KATELYN AND NOT KAVINSKY OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT!! ☺️☺️💕💕❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹🙏🙏)))

Katelyn beams proudly. She does not stop calling Andrew "the goalie" for at least another eight months, she is petty like that. And if she sometimes calls Andrew "Andres" no one needs to know.

All the Foxes know, she calls him Andres in front of every single one of the Foxes cause she may like them but she knows they can't keep a secret if their life depended on it. Once again she is petty like that.

PolyDemption

Aka: Lloyd x Brad x Chen Jr (the Cheerleader)

(Or the time I combined two of my OTPs and created my new OT3 …whoops?)

(Before we get into this: this is an AU where Darkley’s never went good)

Basically, Junior is Skylar’s younger brother and was sent to Darkley’s by Chen so that he could take up the mantle of being evil and whatnot. Junior is not really into it, but it’s Darkley’s (you’re either the bully or the bullied) and his father’s expectation

When Lloyd shows up (the 2nd time) and gives the speech about how there’s good in everyone, that resonated with Junior

Too bad Junior couldn’t doing anything about it until Master Chen was defeated

That’s when Junior and his friends (Sally, Gene, and Brad) all drop out and go to NCM (Ninjago City Middle) and eventually NCH (Ninjago City High)

They affectionately call themselves Darkley’s Dropouts. They eventually reunite and catch up with Lloyd who slots in quite nicely to their dynamics as a friend group

Eventually Brad and Junior start falling for Lloyd. When they figure out that the other is “competition” the two become each other’s wingman because Lloyd is super oblivious

Eventually the two sorta give up, and (after also falling for each other because of all the bonding and technical dates the two went on) start dating each other, hoping to one day open up for Lloyd.

Meanwhile, Lloyd starts getting more snappy when he finds out that Brad and Junior are now dating, especially at any form of PDA. It’s not until being confronted by Gene and Sally about being a asshole, that he realizes that he’s uber jealous and of both of them.

The last part of the story is all of these gay disasters’ friends working together to manipulate a date with the three of them which is where awkward confessions will be had and a duo becomes a trio

THE CHEERLEADER

Mad-confident in their abilities, The Cheerleader rules the blue mats with jaw-dropping backflips, high jumps, and falls from the top of a 10-person pyramid. They work just as hard as the athletes on the field, if not harder, and spend equal time practicing, traveling, and competing. But for all the skill involved in cheerleading, the true Cheerleader doesn’t lose sight of the main purpose: rooting for their team. They are crowd-leaders and morale-boosters. They show up at every game to fly the colors, ruffle the pom-poms, jump, shout, and spur their team to victory.

ABOUT

The Cheerleader is a very conniving, ambitious young woman who strives to always be the winner and considers herself superior to everyone around her. When faced with people who challenged her winning mentality, she lashes out. As popular as she might be in her own social circle, that wasn’t always the case. Former co-captain The Loveable Alpha Bitch was the favorite, and The Cheerleader was her very jealous and spiteful co-captain. It’s safe to say she’s been plotting against The Loveable Alpha Bitch since day one. She can be fun and carefree though, when things are going her way. But when they’re not, her vicious and callous side comes out. Most people would describe her as a narcissistic bitch, which can only be driven by the number of views she gets on TikTok for shaking her ass in a short skirt.

CONNECTIONS

THE JESTER — The Cheerleader had their eyes on The Jester since Freshman Year. She was a cheerleader and he was a cute athlete with a devil-may-care smirk. But what made her even more interested in him was the fact that he was dating The Loveable Alpha Bitch, who was competing against her for the spot as cheer captain. Call it petty, but when she began losing popularity to the Loveable Alpha Bitch, she began moving in on her boyfriend The Jester to make up for it. If she wasn’t going to win on the mat maybe she could win on the mattress.

THE LOVEABLE APLHA BITCH — In the beginning, they were going to be friends. But their goals collided when they both wanted the same thing. Competitively, they both began competing with each other for the role of cheer captain, and although the other girls favored The Loveable Alpha Bitch, they were both made captain. But the other girls still followed The Loveable Alpha Bitch. Furious, The Cheerleader began plotting the Loveable Bitch’s downfall. So when rumor got out that she was hooking up with a teacher, the Cheerleader made the matter ten times worse by bullying The Loveable Alpha Bitch by nicknaming her the School Slut.

THE INVESTIGATOR — The Investigator and The Cheerleader are father and daughter. She gets her power-hungry nature from him. He’s a detective for the NYPD. And she doesn’t make life easy on him. She’s always one step away from getting into trouble with all her fighting, partying, and illicit TikTok content. She’s been skating on thin ice for years now and he’s close to shipping her off to a private boot camp where she’ll be molded into a law-abiding cadet.

INTRO

After a horrible “accident” left your theater in ash, the manors offer of shelter seemed to be your only hope. While the situation was not ideal, I suppose it did work out in the end. In exchange for shelter, food and water, you get stuck running for your life from blood thirsty Hunters who are dealing with the same things you are.

You should’ve been off and on your feet by now, but stuck in a never ending game of life and death leaves you trapped in a rickety manor that won’t let you leave. Thankfully, you’ve met some amazing people during your stay and you couldn’t ask for more. (Well, maybe a way out. But you’ll just have to take their deduction costume as an apology.)

Female Dancer

Your destined arrival was a surprise to Margaretha, a delightful one sure, but a shocker nonetheless.

Margaretha truly believed that she would be the only dancer to ever roam these treacherous halls, that no one would ever understand her on a deeper level when it comes to dancing. How the act of it envelops her and consumes her mind and body entirely. Assuming the dancer was forever destined to waltz alone, others could hear her slow music box accompanied by the soft melody of her tears in the dead of night.

Thankfully, that time has come and gone, and Margaretha is in a better place now. Your company has shown her that not everything and everyone is bad in the world, she cherishes you deeply. She just isn't 100% sure how to show it.

You've found yourself adjusting to your peculiar situation quite fast, and you're sure that the Female Dancer is the one to blame. You spend most of your time with her, and usually, that time is spent on stage somewhere in the manor. This is where your secrets have spilled. This is where you've perfected your Grand Adage. This is where you've shared a kiss with the one and only Female Dancer.

Margaretha will break in your ballet shoes for you. She will help you sew and pick out your performance outfit for your upcoming solo. (You being forced by Ms. Nightingale to dance at one of the events, don't worry about it.) Margaretha will help you bend and flex every fiber of your being. Margaretha will do nearly everything for you, and you will do almost anything for her.

Cheerleader

Lily is almost certain she's seen a show of yours in the past, at least, before she was stripped of her aristocratic status because of the accident. Whether it was you or someone else performing, she remembers it and quotes it as an incredible experience.

Right off the bat, Lily wants to be your friend. She may not be the first person you meet in the manor, but she's a face worth remembering, as the Cheerleader starts to appear more often in your new life at the manor. If you do decide to indulge in the Cheerleader and choose to seek her out, she'll start to appear at your side more often.

The Cheerleader learns of your upcoming performance and is instantly intrigued. With the eyes of a puppy, she begs to see your practice, just for a little bit. How could you deny her? Not that you were going to, originally you were going to ask her if she wanted to see what you'd been working on. She doesn't have to know that though, as you quickly take her hand in yours and race off to the auditorium where your practices have been taking place.

Watching you dance triggers memories to flood in, and before she knows it, tears are flowing down her face. Your performance has moved her to tears and all she can do is mumble a small "m sorry..." as she tries quickly to compose herself. Your show has reminded her of better times before the accident took place, before her brother was rendered bed-bound, and before her life was overcome with grief and abuse. You help comfort her, hugging her tightly and laying gentle kisses on her head.

Lily will always cheer you on from the sidelines. Quiet as a mouse during your performance she quietly gasps from the sidelines, but after your show, she showers you with praise and compliments. Commenting on every aspect of your dance and applauding you for all the hard work and effort you put toward the show. Her words make you teary-eyed before she kisses them away. Your her friend, she doesn’t want you crying! Taking your hand in hers, the two of you rush off elsewhere to celebrate your successful performance.

The Journalist

Alice DeRoss has most likely heard of you and your grand theater, it's even possible that one of her coworkers has interviewed you before. Although, she'll never know as she loses her memory of them the more she's stuck in here.

When she first meets you, she's (just a bit) overly kind. Sensing the fact that you've just gone through something traumatic (like everyone has in this damn place.) she wants to make sure you feel safe with her, despite your unlikely situation right now.

As one of the first people you meet, you feel most at ease with her. Which is one of the reasons why you choose to stay closest to the Journalist. Alice doesn't mind as she enjoys your company and finds that you're an intriguing character to talk to. Whether it be about ballet, more of your background, or just random things in general, she finds herself smiling more in your presence.

Alice is the first person to see your performance finished or now. Whether you're dancing with Margaretha or performing a solo, you spot a flash of light from the audience. Her camera has caught you soaring through mid-air as if defying gravity itself and it wows her. Your performance leaves her mouth slightly agape before she snaps out of it and claps for you. (And maybe Margaretha, but either way she was looking at you the entire time.)

When you finally do put on your performance, Alice has got front-row seats and is amazed the entire time. You look stunning on stage and she doesn't dare to take her eyes off of you for a second. In the end, she is waiting for you on the side of the stage and (with the help of Emma) has brought you a bouquet and a special kiss on the cheek for all your efforts.
