a mix of Green Lanterns (in the broadest sense) and Star Sapphires

Up top: Aya (who's also Ion, the Green Light Entity, for those not up on my convoluted AU lore), Hal Jordan as The Spectre, and Krona as Leviathan. I actually don't think I ever got into my thoughts on Leviathan, Krona, and the Manhunter Cult (or Manhunter Machine-Religion, as I've referred to it) but basically all the Mark Shaw stuff only applies to Leviathan's Earthside operations. Leviathan goes back to Cosmic Deep History, Krona using a mythic Machine-Messiah to program the original Oan Manhunters (and, to a degree, the Manhunter bio-cyborgs of Mars) to serve Krona's ultimate purpose of striking back against the Empty Hand. In a way, the Manhunter Cult (which includes Wally's Dad? No really, it's wild this never comes up...anyway) is a counterpart to the Religion of Crime or the Cult of Heggra, only devoted to a twisted, absolutist vision of justice dreamt up at the dawn of Maltusian civilization.

Down below, some Star Sapphire designs I was toying with. I didn't have particular Star Sapphires in mind, the upper two are generics but the bottom two are possibly Jillian Pearlman and Remoni-Notra. Eyeless masks for the “love is blind” aspect, with the shapes meant to evoke canon!Star Sapphire masks, but also Thanagarian headpieces (since the headverse!Violet Entity is "The Lovebirds" instead of just "The Predator" as a corrupted version)

Lantern oaths. What’s your favorite?

I added the different version of the red lantern one that Razer says. I didn’t add Aya’s cause hers didn’t actually work :(

Sorry I also didn’t add the black or white lantern oath. Maybe I’ll do a separate post for those.

I think my favorites are the red and green lantern oaths. :D

Fatality Vs Bleez

So, I've decided to make a series of the demigod/comic book hero crossover, so be prepared for more in the following days.

Also, as a note, whoever's in the lead for one poll will not be on the following polls. Every demigod will only get one hero family/hero scenario. So, pick strategically, not just your fave.

This is not just the Green (Willpower) Lantern. It could be Red (Rage), Orange (Greed), Yellow (Fear), Blue (Hope), Indigo (Compassion), or Violet (Love).

Okay yeah this is somewhat a continuation of the Ix and Mileena white lanterns piece.

Okay with indigo lanterns in comics continuity the indigo tribe is about repentance and atonement ... even though that its supposed to be compassion which is caring about others. And well Luke's story heavily focuses on atoning for his mistakes. Which is why Mieu is here too. Besides the red lanterns have a murder cat and the green lanterns have a squirrel, so why not give the Indigo tribe a flying bunny thing?

Okay with Tear I felt she didn't fit any of the other lanterns besides blue and violet. And I think Natalia takes up blue a bit better even if they could be interchangeable in terms of what lantern the could be.

Imagine a Violet Lantern/Star Sapphire (Love) Damian instead of a Red Lantern (Rage) one. I just think I'd be neat because Damian has lost a lot of people he has loved and he has worked so hard to develop actual good relationships/learn the value behind connecting with people. That and I'm tired of writers disregarding his character development while they use him just to be "the angry one".

I love Star Stones.

I love Star Rubies, but I love them best if they're a good, DARK red/pink. I prefer dark red over the pink.

Star Sapphires -- I love them so much in a deep but bright blue.

will never get over the fact that the Star SAPPHIRES represent the VIOLET part of the emotional color spectrum and wear MAGENTA uniforms

i'm sure at least some of it has to do with the limited color palettes of early comics but seriously, whoever made those color decisions will face my wrath

YALL DIDN'T TELL ME ABOUT THE SAPPHIRE WW COSTUME DIANA IS SO CUTE IN PINK (also like i know "black lantern" diana was gonna kill everyone but she was kinda....anyway i liked how the did that costume)

also i cant tell if the pink costume is more or less horny then usual...

(im okay with superhero costumes being horny im not okay with them ugly for no reason)

but everytime i see the older version of the costume* im simply facinated by the collar. like from a construction standpoint. ive seen some people cosplay with the collar like that and i just want to know how? **

*(the updated versionis sooo cute and reminds me of magical girl costumes!!! also it seems to use more ww costume motifs making it a bit more personable. i havent read that one yet but its on the list)
