-----
The sun shone into the nursery of Casita, indicating the early morning. Mirabel cracked open her eyes, groggily reaching for her glasses as she yawned. The newly-turned 5 year old slid them onto her face, stretching as she looked around. So it wasn't a nightmare. She really was still in the nursery. Her ceremony did fail. She had no gift, no door. She wasn't like her family. Wasn't special.
Mirabel's eyes welled up with tears as she looked around. Her things still in boxes because she had been too sad that she never got to unpack and put it all back. Her ceremony dress thrown onto the other, empty and stripped bed, from when her mama helped her change into her night gown.
Looking at her ceremony dress she sniffed. What went wrong? She was a good girl, right? She was nice, helped her family and the townspeople, and always shared. So what happened?
Looking at the clock it read 8:00 a.m; an hour later than usual, she had missed waking up her family. She could already tell because she could hear some movement happening within Casita, voices too.
Mirabel frowned as she started to cry. What had she done to deserve this? She held her face in her hands, letting the tears fall. She heard Casita flip some tiles, but she didn't move. A moment later, she heard the door open. Looking up, she saw it was her abuela. Mirabel looked at her for a moment before looking away. She saw her abuela's look, she looked sad. She must be upset Mirabel didn't get a gift.
Mirabel stared at her covers as Alma sat down. She didn't look up.
"Mirabel?" Alma asked softly, moving one of her hands to cover Mirabel's small one. Mirabel didn't say anything. "Mirabel can you look at me please?" Alma asked.
Mirabel slowly looked up, glassy eyes meeting her grandmothers gentle ones. She didn't look upset or mad. Not disappointed or weirded out like Mirabel had thought. She looked a little happy if anything.
"I'm sorry," Mirabel quietly sobbed while looking at Alma. "I'm sorry I didn't get a gift. It's my fault the candle flickered," Mirabel cried, holding her Abuela's hand, looking down at it.
Alma frowned, and lifted Mirabel's face up, cupping her chubby cheeks in her hands. After using her thumbs to wipe away her tears, she kissed Mirabel on the forehead. Mirabel looked up to her Abuela in shock.
"Its not your fault. None of it was. It was that mean old candle," Alma said, and Mirabel giggled a bit at Alma's lighthearted teasing. Alma smiled as she picked up Mirabel, pulling her into her lap. "You are a gift yourself Mirabel, never forget that. You didn't fail anyome and you didn't mess up."
"Really? I'm not broken?" Mirabel asked and Alma shook her head.
"No. You are perfect the way you are. I promise," Alma said and Mirabel smiled as she hugged her Abuela. "Now. I've got a surprise for you. But first, we have to get you ready."
Mirabel's face lit up, a surprise? For her? She watched as she grandmother reached to her side and pulled something from her other side. A small, flat box. Alma handed it to the girl and she looked at it confused.
"What's this?" Mirabel questioned, looing at the neatly wrapped box.
"A birthday present," Alma said. She knew Mirabel's birthday was the day before but...she wanted to redo it. Do it right, everything had to go right. It had to be perfect.
"For me?" Mirabel as and Alma nodded. Mirabel look down, gently opening the box. She beamed at the present. It was a brand new dress. In her favorite color too! She usually wore clothes that were like her mama; after a Madrigal children got their gift, clothes that hinted their gift would be made and given to them. Mirabel wasn't given that chance but now...
"Just for you mariposa," Alma said, helping Mirabel pull it all the way out. "I know its early but I know you've been wanting one so..." Alma trailed off as Mirabel looked at it in glee.
"It's perfect!" Mirabel smiled, hugging her Abuela tightly.
"I'm glad you like it. Now, let's get you ready," Alma said and she got up. She helped her granddaughter change into her new dress, carefully tying her white ribbon into her hair after gently brushing it while humming to the small girl. Casita helped the girl put her shoes on as she excitedly hopped around the room, continuously asking her Abuela what her surprise was, though she wouldn't say.
"Are you ready to see your surprise?" Alma asked as she went to the door.
"Mhm!" Mirabel hummed happily, completely forgetting about what had happened the night before.
"Close your eyes," Alma said and Mirabel cover her eyes. Once she did, Mirabel felt Alma's gentle hands guide her to somewhere in Casita, still on the second floor. She could hear her family walking around and some giggling probably from Camilo or Luisa. "Ready?"
Mirabel giggled and nodded.
"Tres...dos...uno...surprise!" Alma shouted and so did the rest of the family (though not too loud so as to not scare or hurt Dolores). Mirabel removed her hands and gawked at the sight in front of her.
Her family surrounded her, all smiling happily as they presented the surprise. The were decorations like the day before, just more refreshed; Isabela had even sprouted a flower crown on Mirabel's head of her favorite flowers. She could smell her favorite food downstairs in the dining room, much to her pleasant surprise.
There was a banner with Mirabel's name in various colors, with butterflies painted on (those were Camilo's idea), and it hung above a door frame. A blank door. Her door frame. There, as if it hadn't simply vanished the night before. The swirling gold and sparkles emitted off of it, shining in Mirabel's eyes.
"Well? What do you think?" Alma asked her granddaughter. Alma had done this last night. She had even gotten up early, earlier than Julieta even to help get everything set up again. Once she filled in the family on what she was planning, they were all in. None of then questioned how Mirabel's door came back giving her a second chance at getting a room. They had let the girl sleep in, not only because she might have been tired, but also because they wanted to get more things set up for her in order to surprise her.
"I...I love it! Its awesome! Muchos gracias!" Mirabel smiled brightly as she clapped her hands and her family wished her (another) happy birthday. Mirabel practically tackled her abuela's knees, hugging her tightly. "Gracias Abuela, for giving me another chance," she said cuddling into Alma, the older woman happily reciprocating the hug.
"Of course Mirabel," Alma said. "You deserve it."

You know, I feel like transfem Dolores headcanon just takes an interesting turn on her being in Isabela's shadow and jealous of her. Basically making it into gender envy. And also seeing her cousin portrayed as a example of elegance and femininity. It definitely doesn't make Dolores feel better

Younger!Bruno AU, because I have no self-control
***
Félix knew, logically, that Pepa’s little brother had just turned eleven. He’d seen Bruno around, but only ever at a distance. The kid didn’t hang around much and when he was around he was usually with Alma, Julieta or Pepa. Never alone.
But now, up close, Bruno didn’t even look eleven. He looked younger; tiny and scrawny, with big green eyes like Pepa’s. He was standing slightly behind Pepa, peering up at Félix shyly, twisting his ruana between his hands.
“Brunito, say hello,” Pepa said. She took one of Bruno’s hands, gently detangling it from the ruana and grasping it reassuringly. Bruno mumbled, “Hola,” not quite looking at Félix properly.
The poor kid looked exhausted. Pepa had mentioned the latest few visions had taken a lot out of him.
Smiling, Félix held his hand out. “Good to meet you, hombrecito,” he said cheerfully. “I’m Félix.”
Bruno looked at his offered hand dubiously, like he wasn’t sure what it was. After a moment, he took Félix’s hand and shook it. For such a little guy, he had a good grip.
He really didn’t look eleven at all. Well, Félix knew the feeling: he’d always been mistaken for younger too. Still was sometimes, despite being sixteen and he was quite proud of his facial hair, thanks very much. He’d like to think that height didn’t matter, but he also knew all too well that some kids could be real jerks about it.
Bruno’s lips twitched up in a small, shy smile. “You too,” he said, still looking at the ground. Pepa beamed at them both, sunshine around her head. She let go of Bruno’s hand and Bruno stepped back again, but didn’t hide behind her this time.
Well, guess I’m looking after you now, Félix thought. Because even then, even in that first meeting, it was painfully obvious that Bruno needed someone on his side; someone who wasn’t a member of his family.
So Félix promised himself that, even if he and Pepa didn’t work out (though of course they would, they were soul mates, he was sure of it) he’d still keep an eye out for Bruno.
After all, everyone needed a friend. Shy little prophets were no exception.

A spin-off AU of my Encanto/Metal Family crossover AU where Ches and Mirabel meet each other in a dream, when Mirabel is, like, three or something, and Ches is a late teen, and Ches has the ability to communicate with her throughout her life, and see her entire story play out- right up until Casita falls apart- via his dreams up until Mirabel gets adopted by Glam and Victoria and they meet in person for the first time.
Basically, he's there, in her dreams, throughout her entire life and becomes an uncle figure to her.
ANTIS DNI, THIS AU AND POST ABOUT IT ARE NOT FOR YOU.

Hollow Julieta stared at the child infront of her, and scooped them up.
The ten months old Mirabel loomed at her, square in the face, tongue out in a derp.
Hollow holds the child to her shoulders and proceeds to walk forward, to her own tavern/bar.
"Where to?" She simply asked. Earning a "Ma!" Fron the baby.
"Hmm yes, we will go to my building and give you baby food. Even though it is full of liquors not meant for children, except for a few. Would you like almond?"
"Yah!" The infant answered. "Alo!"
"Okay." Hollow simply stated.
——♠︎◆♠︎◆♠︎——
"Uh... Hollow? Is that a mini-Mirabel?" Scrappy Mirabel asked, pointing at a two-year-old Mirabel, who was holding onto her hand.
Hollow only blinked. "She is from a neglected AU." She instantly held her up, "Would you like to hold her?" She asked.
"Hollow how the hell are you going to work like this—" "Ah, don't worry, I already simplified what my job is, so I tell her to cover her eyes and ears."
——♠︎◆♠︎◆♠︎——
A week later, a five-year-old Mirabel was with Hollow, said Mirabel was crying as the adult hugged her tightly.
Observer Mirabel sputtered. "Wh— Hollow for fucks sake DON'T MAKE HER GET ATTACHED TO YOU!" She yelled.
The bloody woman shook her head, "I'm afraid I cannot, she is from a Neglected AU."
"Oh, makes sense."
——♠︎◆♠︎◆♠︎——
Hollow clicked her tongue.
"I sadly cannot explain what happened—"
"Hollow she's already fifteen, you're covered in dust, your left eye was gouged out, and your ribcage is broken." Observer deadpanned.
The AU Madrigals stared in shock, even Mirabel, who looked close to crying.
Hollow simply regenerated her body while shrugging. "My apologies everyone. I had to step in so Mirabel could be taken care of sometimes."

Another question having todo with your au with Alma, Does Casita still fall like in the movie ?
It actually doesn’t. Cracks do start to form as a result of Pepa’s stress with so much pressure being placed on her to keep her emotions in check.
There is a concern that she may bring down the house. When the cracks form, Alma blames Pepa and gas her stay in her room, which in my au blocks her abilities so they stay only in her room.
Mirabel will be a key part of helping poor Pepa. Sometimes she will ask Isabela to make lavender and chamomile, which she in turn takes to Julieta for help turning them into a tea she can take to Pepa whenever Alma is not by her side

Gaston taking everything as a challenge considering he’s said something as ridiculous as “No one orders decaf like Gaston!”
It soon devolves into “No one cares for Yuu like Gaston!”
“No one protects Yuu like Gaston!” *Punches Mortimer*
“No one spoils Yuu like Gaston” *Blows his life savings on buying things for Yuu*
And then Ashton Vargas and Gaston get competitive on who’s the better father figure for Yuu, and everyone is just so tired of these macho meatheads
I love Coach Vargas. He's such a sweet guy and such an overprotective uncle for Yuu.
He and Hercules are like those himbo bros that are like:
Tumblr media
When the staff (except Trein because he doesn't really seem like the type to me) come to the club it's like this:
Crewel: Sitting with Cruella as they talk about fashion and do whatever rich stylish people do as he keeps a keen eye on Yuu. He's rather friendly with Roger and Anita as well. He probably brings his own dalmations which hang around with Pongo and Perdita's lot and he loves to dote on all of the 101 Dalmation dogs.
Sam: his friends from the other side know Dr Facilier's friends from the other side. His shadow and the shadowman's shadow are practically BFFs that love to make mischief, cause trouble for their humans and chase Peter Pan's shadow. He's very chill with his OG counterpart and the two discuss their voodoo, hoodoo and the things they've never even tried.
Vargas: CHAOS, CHAOS, CHAOS! Who let these two gym bros get within ten feet of each other. Five seconds after meeting their engaged in the most dramatically serious/tense arm wrestle of the century. Behind them, Hercules and Luisa Madrigal are hyping them up as a crowd forms and cheers. Abu is seen stealing from the betting pools that are forming as the staff try to get everyone to calm down. The two then try get Yuu to get to eat four dozen eggs every morning to help her get large.
Gaston's a meathead but he's an alright meathead in this AU. I guess that part of the reason that he likes Yuu is because she lets him talk about himself (which he loves to do - but so do most villains). She's always impressed when he shows off, like when he plays with darts (but he has to be refrained from 'expectorating' by the other villains who really don't want to see any of that).
He also thought that it was a good idea to proudly give her a rifle that was then immediately confiscated by Minnie.
(Gaston: But Mulan gave her a sword!
Mickey: Do I look like the type of mouse who would tell Mulan what she can or can't give?)
Lefou is cool to hang around with. He's like Kronk and Smee where he's a good guy that does evil things because they genuinely care about the villain and aren't villains themselves.

Encanto God au
I got another Alma and Mirabel bonding au!
Ok so, what if the Madrigals were gods? Like:
The story/au goes that Alma fell in love with a human man, Pedro. Her parents, friends, and even strangers told her that it won’t end well but Alma, being the young goddess she was, didn’t listen. The way they met was at the candle festival, Alma loved festivals, so she wasn’t going to pass up a fun time.
So, she disguised herself as a human and went to the festival. Soon meeting the love of her life.  They dated, got married, and had three demigod children. Everyone on earth and above the clouds were of course happy for them. But her parents and friends couldn’t fight the feeling of something going wrong.
On the night of the triplets' birth, Alma was in a deep coma like sleep, as any mother would be. While asleep with her three babies next to her, Pedro was outside talking to a “friend”. This “friend” got word of Pedro marrying a goddess and having children with her. His jealousy got the best of him and when Pedro was in his calmest and happiest state…he killed him.
Not long after Alma woke up in a cold sweat and went outside to look for her husband. At the moment, a raid was going on. Houses and stores are up in flames, men with machetes on horses left and right and Pedro…After what seemed like days of weeping and sobbing, she found the man who killed her husband and…dealt with him properly, let's say.
After that incident, the only humans allowed to come near her were Pedro’s parents, high up on Monte Encanto (Mount Encanto, Like Mount Olympus ). Humans can only go to Mount Olympus when they are invited, no other way. On the plus side, it’s incredibly too high for any human to climb.
Alma was quite upset and hates herself for not being vigilant enough to protect her husband, therefore she’s going to protect her children and never let them near humans. In her mind, falling in love with them is the worst thing you can do, on both sides.
Where does Mirabel come in? Give me a sec
Remember how I mentioned Pedro’s parents? Yeah, they wanted his grave to be on earth. They wanted it on earth because they didn’t want to constantly have to have Alma’s permission for them to see their own son’s grave on mount Encanto. So, out of respect of his parents, she lets the grave be on earth and every so often she visits it when she needs time alone or is too stressed out.
Her children sometimes tag along with her on his birthday and leave some flowers or gifts for him to take into the afterlife. You know how the skeletons in Coco would take a magical version of the gift sat on their grave?
Yeah, they believe that’s how he takes the gifts. On one of his birthdays, the triplets and Alma visited his grave with gifts to give him. While doing so, they heard a faint cry. A baby's cry, they looked around to see if there was any baby in the distance. They didn’t see anything. The cry was far but close enough to hear, which is strange, who would leave a baby at a graveyard of all places?
After looking around a bit more, they found a little baby girl in a basket near a tree. She was small, very small, and she looked…new. Like not even a day new, like she was born mere hours ago.
Julieta, being the caring mother she is, picked the baby up and held her close. The little infant was cold, very cold, and from the vibe she was giving Julieta, more than likely sick.
“She’s just a baby, who would do such a thing?!”
Alma stared at the little one and she knew right then and there, she had to care for this child. Unlike her granddaughters, who had been born within the safety of alabaster stone pylons, and in the presence of trained nursemaids draped in maroon and gold silks, this little baby had no such luxury.
Unlike Isabela, whose head was christened in rosewater the minute she was birthed, or Luisa who was immediately coddled in the finest of linens to warm, or Dolores who was put in the finest cradle made of gold and calming scented clouds to lay her head on. Mirabel was in nothing but a withered old basket and wearing…nothing. There was a simple small blanket covering her, nothing more.
And to top it all off, she was born on her late husband's birthday, March 6th. This little girl was a miracle. She would’ve called her a gift from the gods but she just went with a gift from her Pedro.
So, from then on, little Mirabel (or sometimes Miracle) was welcomed into the family as a Madrigal. A mere human yes, but still an amazing little gift that Alma welcomed with open arms.
She was going to teach her everything from literature, mathematics, combat, science, just anything in the little girl's early years to make sure that she was going to be strong, independent, and smart just like her.
“I give you my word neita, you will be outstanding”
Mirabel/Miracle was given to Julieta and Agustin to care for but…it’s more like Alma adopted her herself. She read her stories, gave her gifts, fed her, clothed in the best clothes, etc. To make sure absolutely nothing happened to her little Miracle, Alma made a potion for Mirabel to take everyday to make sure she’s immortal.
The potion was supposed to give her other magical properties but it only gave her immortality, no god magic like her sisters or primos. No super strength, healing, no ability to control weather, ability to make plants, shapeshifting, or hear from far places, nothing.
No matter how many potions Alma made, no magic from her family would stick besides immortality. No matter, she was still special, and will forever be special in Alma’s eyes.
At school (for the god kids, but Mirabel was easily accepted in) Alma made sure she only had the best teachers, if she couldn’t always be the one teaching her then Alma was going to make sure gods who were well qualified were going to.
Mirabel isn’t bullied per say but she isn’t well liked either. To gods, humans aren’t anything but an annoyance or something to play with. So seeing something you were taught to not see as anything but a speck is doing better in class than you…does get annoying. And most of them think she doesn’t deserve to be there
All of the god kids avoid her unless they are paired up with her for an assignment. Other than that, they don’t pay much attention to her, and it’s easier for them because they are much taller in comparison to her. They don’t even have to look down in her direction.
God children ages 1-5 are about half her height at fifteen. So in this au, Antonio is at her shoulders, Camilo is four feet above her, Luisa is two feet above him, Isabela/Dolores are three feet over her, and the adults are a few inches above the two oldest girls.
Alma keeps her height small in case she has to talk to Mirabel, who she knows can’t stand her smallness. Did I mention that Mirabel needs to nearly climb everything in her castle to get to it? If no one in the family is around she really has to climb her way to the kitchen counter just to make a snack.
Oh, and Alma doesn’t look old is this au. From what I’ve read in Greek mythology and seen in Greek statues, none of the gods look or seem to be older than 30 so Alma looks 26 but she’s about the same age she is in canon. Same goes for the triplets, no gray hair or that much wrinkles.
Mirabel does have her own room in this au and all that jazz. I’m not so sure what to do for dynamics but I think I’ll keep things the same? Idk,
I was thinking that maybe Mirabel, Camilo, and Dolores are ok with each other, but leave them in a room alone and it’s just gonna be…awkward and silent. They don’t talk much seeing as they just have stuff to do but they're alright with each other. Antonio and Mira still have that cute little brother and older sister relationship though.
Luisa and Mirabel are cool, Luisa is a little overprotective of her, but it’s not to the point of where it’s annoying. I’m not sure about Isabela and Mirabel’s relationship though. I feel like Isabela is slightly Jealous that Mirabel gets more attention from Alma in regards to gifts, excellent teachers, and knowledge about anything and everything she gives her.
Don’t get me wrong, she loves her and would rip the entire fabric of the universe for her, but Isa just isn’t quite sure what to do with her. Julieta and Agustin are still loving parents and shower her with love and care when they can.
Felix and Pepa love her too and speak to her when they have the time. Bruno does the same and cracks some jokes if she’s ever upset.
The idea that I had is that Mirabel is like Ariel but different. She wants to go to the human world just to feel normal. Her thinking is that she's a person just like the rest of the people in the village she sees.
Nobody is up on some high horse of superiority; the people are just people. No one treats or looks at her like she's some omen you're not supposed to talk to.
On the plus side, they don't ignore her as if she isn't there and it's a rarity for anyone to be above 6'4, she's amazed by the simple fact that her height is average among girls and some boys.
The only problem is that she knows damn well she isn't supposed to be down there. Alma expects everyone, Including Mirabel, that no one is supposed to talk to humans.
"It'll be the worst thing you could do, for both ends"
But Mirabel isn't a goddess, just a human with immortality, so nothing can go wrong right?
That’s all I’ve got for now, if you have any ideas, let me know! Oh, and here's everyone's majors
Alma - Goddess of strength, independence, fertility, and festivity
Julieta - Goddess of peace, healing and fertility
Agustin - God of loyalty, crafting, and perseverance
Isabela - Goddess of flowers, elegance, and beauty
Luisa - Goddess of strength, independence, and loyalty
Pepa - Goddess of war, emotions, and storms
Felix - God of light, happiness, and love
Dolores - Goddess of silence, peace, and hope
Camilo - God of trickery, comedy, and festivity
Antonio - God of animals, happiness, and imagination
Bruno - God of Prophecy, wisdom, and laughter/comedy

Ok, so, what if all the madrigal kids were put on the "golden child" pedestal? Even Mirabel (she can have a gift or no gift, it's your choice).
Isabela = The perfect girl who can create flowers. She's agile, sweet, and beautiful. If you had a bad day she can give you a few flowers to make you feel better. She can also help with birthdays, funerals, weddings, etc.
Dolores = The girl who can hear if anyone is in trouble or just someone to spill the tea with. She can also help if any person or child is going through abuse of some kind.
Luisa = Has the strength to protect anyone in the family and just help around with heavy things. She's also just as agile and almost never smudges her clothes when she's out doing chores.
Mirabel = ?
Camilo = the perfect gentleman and sweetheart of the family. Always willing to help mothers or parents have a break. Or just willing to make you laugh or smile.
Antonio = The second sweetest boy of the family. Always willing to give a hug or help around. Especially with his new gift, he can easily speak to the animals of Encanto for anything the villagers need. (And to tell the bee's Agustin isn't a threat)
(I'm already writing an au like this, but I just wanted to see what your version of the au would be like. In my version Mirabel got the gift of creating diamonds (jewelry), crystals, and pearls. You can choose if she gets a gift or not tho)
To be honest, I wouldn’t want to do an AU too similar to that of someone else’s, if that makes sense? It isn’t that I dislike the idea though.
Anyway, here are my thoughts on this:
Having all of them be the “golden child” at once kind of renders the trope pointless. If they are all perfect, they are all equal; so there wouldn’t really be a pedestal or favouritism. In addition, having so much may also make it quite messy.
But it is a very intriguing idea to play around with what each child would be like in the role.
Isabela is already the favourite in canon. I don’t have anything to add here.
Dolores is definitely an interesting case. Her gift is one of the ones usually regarded as a curse or associated with negative connotations. Which it isn’t, it is arguably one of the more helpful gifts. Combined with her passion and intelligence, she would make a very capable golden child and definitely achieve that ideal of a perfect, young lady that we see Abuela going for with Isabela in canon.
Luisa is one of the more likely to be a golden child for me. If Abuela valued more hard work than reputation, as Luisa could easily be argued as the one who does the most to benefit the community alongside her mother. At the same time, she is also this figure of bravery and protection, which easily adds to the possible idolisation of her character to the town.
Camilo is similar to Luisa. Given his optimistic spirit and the desire to bring smiles or laughter to all, he is definitely one of the more friendly and social members of the family - it is easy to imagine him being the favourite of the town because of how his work brings him so close to their lives. He’d fall into a similar trap to Isabela, hiding his more mischievous and chaotic nature, in favour of a more gentlemen persona to please Abuela.
Mirabel is not usually handled well in AUs where she’s swapped to be the favourite. She gets wildly out of character and just becomes another Señorita Perfecta Isabela or idolised for being more vulnerable (which… why? You’d have to have the same feelings to the entire town). Mirabel is the brains of her sisters (Luisa = brawn, Isabela = beauty). There is so much potential behind a mind or logic based gift and the subsequent pressures Mirabel might face as “the most intelligent girl in town”. And I will never get why nobody takes advantage of it.
Antonio is another one to see being an easy charmer. The youngest favouritism is rather common and how could you say anything bad about a sweet, little boy who can talk to animals? I haven’t seen anyone experiment with him as the favourite before, so it would be very exciting to see what someone comes up with.

In the vampire au, does Julieta, Pepa and Bruno exist? Also are the guzmans vampires too?
Ok so I assume you meant this for the au on my other blog <3333
Uhhhhh so they do exist. But Julieta and Pepa are dead. Along with their husbands <\\\333 killed the massacre that went through the village, hunters thought they were vampires (ironically the hunters also thought they were protecting Alma and the grandkids from them).
Bruno may or may not be alive, it's not really know (aka, I haven't decided yet). If he is alive, he's living on the very outskirts of the village, and is under the impression his entire family is dead. Though he will eventually go back to Caaita and learn they're alive. He was turned in this scenario as well lmao. How, I have no idea, but unlike the grandkids, it wasn't by Alma.
And yes, the Guzmán's are vampires❗❗ Very close friends to the Madrigals, and they help each other out in surviving in the tough times 🙏🙏many families within the village have friendships and alliances that date back centuries, and the Madrigals and Guzmán's are one of those.
Mariano is close friends with the grandkids. Like a lot of other vampire kids in the village, they are sheltered. They also feel like they can't fully connect and befriend the human children because a lot of them are the children of hunters, some of the hunters that killed their parents. While Mariano's parents are still alive, his older brother and tia didn't survive the massacre <\\\3

DSMP x Encanto AU
This AU is a mix of DSMP, Encanto, and Fantasy. DSMP for the characters, Encanto for the story, and Fantasy to tie the two together.
While this AU follows the same progression of the events in Encanto, details are reminiscent of Minecraft Fantasy stories, and the interactions happen accordingly to the DSMP characters’ personalities.
I wanted to added the fantasy element because I wanted to keep Philza’s wings and Techno’s pig theme somehow.

Timeline: The Beginning
Kristen was a famous and powerful knight captain who had just taken maternity leave. When the kingdom broke into civil war, she was ordered to return and lead the army.
However, Kristen had just given birth to triplets and refused to leave them. She and Phil ran away to their home village.
A couple months later, soldiers found and raided the village. Kristen and Phil evacuated as many villagers as possible.
Soldiers eventually caught up with them. Kristen valiantly fought them off, but then a soldier aimed at Phil, who was carrying their children.
Kristen took the hit for them. She died.
Philza cried out in anguish. The combination of these two sparked a miracle to happen. The flame of the candle he held exploded with magic. Mountains rose protectively around Philza and his people, a magic house rose in the center of the encanto, and a pair of giant feathered wings sprouted from his back
Ever since then, the descendants of the Minecraft family were blessed with magical gifts and manifested their animal spirits within.
To be continued…

i’ve been reading your prompts and i think they’re absolutely amazing. i especially love your actual baby brother bruno au, and was wondering if you could do another one with julieta and pepa bonding with/being protective over bruno? (if you’re still accepting prompts, that is). i love your writing!
Madrigal triplets (or in this case, siblings) supremacy 👏👏
(And aro-ace Bruno!)
Tumblr media
The front door of Casita slammed open and Julieta flinched in shock to hear her little brother shout, "IF YOU WANT ME TO GO, YOU'LL HAVE TO DRAG ME!"
And Alma, even louder: "DON'T YOU DARE RAISE YOUR VOICE AT ME, YOUNG MAN!"
"THEN STOP TRYING TO SET ME UP AND LEAVE ME ALONE! I DON'T WANT TO GET MARRIED, END OF DISCUSSION!"
Then his bedroom door slammed and Julieta and Pepa were left gaping at each other in silence across the kitchen table, their cups of coffee immediately forgotten.
Their mamá was at it again. Trying to play match-maker, not understanding that Bruno simply wasn't interested. Alma thought it was his anxiety and shyness holding him back; she thought his depression was warping his view of himself. Julieta could understand that logic; after all, that was what she'd wondered too at first, until she heard Bruno out.
Romance, relationships, marriage and everything that came with it, were of no interest to him. For years, the mere mention of sex made him wrinkle his nose in disgust. Once, when he was sixteen, a girl tried to kiss him by the river and he ran straight to Julieta's stall and he avoided that particular classmate of his for a week.
Their little brother was five years younger than them. Not the biggest of age gaps, but Alma had always drilled it into them that they were The Big Sisters. It was their job to keep Bruno safe.
Even from Mamá if they must.
Julieta still remembered the night they got their Miracle; she remembered holding her newborn brother and crying for her Papá, sitting outside the newly formed Casita with Pepa, as a suspicious and frightened Alma went to investigate the living house. For a while, Julieta had been convinced that Alma would never come out; the house would eat her up, and Julieta would have to look after her sister and brother all by herself.
She remembered vowing again and again to protect her baby brother, a silent promise to herself and to their papá.
So Julieta stood now, Pepa right behind her, and went to Bruno's room.
She knocked, but didn't wait for a response before opening the door. The knocking was more of a formality anyway; unless he was in the ante-chamber or main room, he'd never hear her.
There seemed to be more sand than last time. Or maybe she was imagining it. The stairs to the vision cave seemed bigger.
She hoped she was imagining that.
"Brunito?" Julieta made for the second, smaller staircase, leading to his bedroom. "Bruno, it's just us."
Bruno was sitting on the edge of his bed, glaring at the wall. At age twenty-five, he was the spitting image of Pedro. His nails dug into his blanket and he looked like he was about to scream or cry.
Pepa pushed past Julieta, practically running to the bed and throwing herself down gracelessly, flinging an arm around Bruno's shoulders.
"Y'know," she said with a big, dramatic sigh. "I always thought Mamá needed a hobby. Bet this is all because she's bored."
Bruno's lips twitched, an almost-smile.
Julieta sat on his other side, more gentle than her twin sister. Ever since Isabela and Pepa had been born two years ago, Alma had tried harder to convince Bruno to start a family of his own. "You're so good with the ninos," she said, in a rare soft voice. "Look at the kind of papá you could be, amor."
Maybe Bruno would have been a good father, but being a Tio suited him much more.
"Even if I wanted to," Bruno said in that flat, dark tone that Julieta hated. "Even if Mamá was right and I was just being too shy...It wouldn't work. She's blind to it, but who'd want Bad Luck Bruno?" He snorted, seemingly unaware of how his sisters flinched. "Stupid rumours are finally coming in handy, hermanas."
Julieta was his big sister. The eldest. She knew exactly how to snap him out of it.
"It's their loss," she said. Starting to grin, she leaned against him, wrapping her arms around both of her siblings. "Because mi hermanito has such a big heart!"
"Oh no," Bruno muttered as Pepa started to giggle.
"And is so creative!"
"Julieta, stop," Bruno groaned. He tried to push away and stand up, but Pepa helped pin him into the group hug, laughing more than ever.
"So funny and sweet, and look at those beautiful green eyes!"
"Dios mio, Julieta, stop it! We're too old for this!" But Bruno was finally snickering as he tried in vain to push her away.
"Never!" Julieta cupped his face in her hands, kissing both his cheeks and his forehead in rapid succession, finally giving into the urge to giggle herself. She continued as Bruno finally broke into true laughter and she cooed all the while; "Hermano bébé, mi corazón, pequeño! Te amo, mi hermanito!"
"Julieta!" The last of the tension left his narrow shoulders as he laughed against her shoulder. "You're impossible."
"Ay, we're all impossible if you believe Mamá," Pepa said with a wave of her hand. She was grinning broadly, a rainbow above her head. "And our teachers."
"Tch, do you have any idea how many of them expected me to be trouble because of you?" Bruno asked, slapping their sister's arm.
"You were trouble."
"Lies and slander. I never got caught, hermana mayor."
"You don't still think he's the one who stuck chalk in our teacher's erasers, do you?" Julieta sighed.
"He did!" Pepa protested. "How do you still not believe me!?"
"Because it's ridiculous!"
"You know he's a little shit, you just fall for those puppy-eyes every time-"
"If you're gonna fight, take it outside," Bruno said. "I don't want blood on my bed again."
"That was one time!"
"One time too many, Pepi!"
Julieta remembered that particular fight. Pepa had shoved her and Julieta had smacked her face off Bruno's headboard, earning herself a bloody nose. Bruno had only been ten and he'd started screaming at the sight.
Sighing fondly, Julieta pushed Bruno's hair off his face, trying in vain to keep it out of his eyes; it immediately curled back into place.
"You're perfect the way you are," she said gently. "I hope you know that."
Bruno smiled at her, leaning against her shoulder again. "Gracias, Juli," he said.
It wasn't quite an agreement, but she'd take it.
