Baymax realizing that Alma, even unintentionally, is mentally and emotionally abusing Mirabel and being who he is just straight up pointing it out, even recording and showing her to her face how it looks on an outside perspective

Since the family is so successful they probably wealthy to. If Alma refuse to change ways, BAYMAX returns to his primary function of making sure nothing is harm to Mirabel's health, even if it means removing her from the situation.

(I'm sure Bruno won't mind a new roommate)

Here's the good ending! :D

Unknown to Alma, Baymax had recorded some of her interactions with Mirabel.

When Alma sat down with him for a therapy session, the robot pointed out her behavior towards Mirabel.

“I have noticed that you have been mean and rude towards Mirabel.” Baymax said. “What seems to be the problem?”

Alma looked quite surprised at the robot, but went back to her natural expression.

“Oh, it’s nothing.” She answered. “Mirabel just gets in the way sometimes, that’s all.”

“That is no reason to be rude at her.” Baymax simply said.

“She needs to know her place in this family.” Alma answered, now more irritated. “Now, on to-“

Alma was cut off when Baymax played a recording he had made of Alma and Mira’s latest “conversations”, which was basically the former belittling the latter on being a “selfish brat”.

But even after the recording ended, Alma didn’t think anything wrong with her behavior.

“She needs to learn to make a few sacrifices.” Alma said, before exiting the living room.

But Baymax didn’t give up.

Over the next week, he played recording after recording to try and tell Alma that her behavior towards Mira was wrong, that she’s mentally and emotionally abusing her, but Alma refused to see her own errors…

So, Baymax decided it was the safest for his primary patient to be removed from this situation. It was the best for her health.

Knowing that Pepa’s place wasn’t the safest for Mira either, the robot contacted Bruno, who lived in an apartment in the same city.

So, not knowing that you need to pack stuff before you move somewhere else, Baymax picked up a sleeping Mira, and carried her all the way to the flat Bruno was staying at, in the middle of the night.

It took quite a while, but Baymax managed to get to the 3rd floor where Bruno’s apartment was without waking Mira up.

And then this :D

Baymax: *knocks on the door*

Bruno: *finally opens the door after 15 minutes*

Baymax: “Hello, I am Baymax-“

Bruno: “WHAT THE HECK??!!”

Luckily, Bruno recognized his youngest niece and let both her and the robot in, putting her in the guest room to sleep😊

Though, he knew why Baymax brought Mira here, and he knew it had something to do with the family…

But regardless, Bruno was happy to have at least one member of his family visit him, even if it wasn’t an ideal situation.

Thumbalina Mirabel au? Thumbalina was born from a special flower so imagine if Isabela had wanted another sibling after Luisa and after Camilo was born. She wished it but her Mami wasn’t able to do it. So she sighed and went to practice her poses with her flowers when a big flower grew and out of it came the tiniest baby she’d ever seen, no bigger than her thumb

Isabela probably didn’t even mean to at first, but she was super happy after. Didn’t really care about size, just the fact that she had a sister. Though J don’t think Mirabel would have stayed in the nursery, I think she would have stayed in Isabela’s room, at least for the meantime.

I also think they would have remained close? The fact that Isabela made Mirabel and she ended up so small, I think she would have been mad protective of her. Wouldn’t:t want her getting stepped on or something, so she’d always nearby 😭🤚

Beautiful

Imagine if the candle came to life as a person when it came to be. It’s mute and mostly communicates through flickering and can be understood by Alma. But as Alma grew older and more stuck in her ways, she stopped being able to understand them. It picked Mirabel as the next holder but wasn’t able to communicate this to Alma leading to a major misunderstanding. Mirabel can understand it after the ceremony but barely gets the chance to speak with it after the ceremony because of Alma’s paranoia.

OHHHHHHH THIS IS COOL!!!

It would be cool to see how Alma reacts when one day she suddenly can't understand the candle anymore. I feel like she would start getting suspicious of Mirabel since she's started to try and spend a lot more time with the candle. Keyword, try.

Sana Sana Colita De Rana

When Bruno suppresses his visions and this was before he learned to do his rituals, he would get massive migraines. It didn't help that the townsfolk disliked him which pushed him more to suppress his visions thus creating a painful cycle. Eventually as he got older he would accept his visions to avoid to the headaches but sometimes it's still there. Bruno hates his gift but feels guilty for hating it because his mother constantly reminded her children how they should appreciate the miracle and help the townsfolk. My headcanon is that he and Julieta get along better because she is understanding and more compassionate. Also she is the healer. Plus he doesn't want to emotionally burden Pepa because she suffers from anxiety just as much as he does. Sorry for the whump.

I was thinking it’d be like an instance where it is a new timeline but she can still exist at the same time as her original self it’s just now, there won’t be as bad a situation

Au where Mirabel is sent into the past by her door. Rather than save the family in the future, it's an opportunity to help them never become as bad as it was.

A part of me refuses to believe that everyone immediately started work-horsing the triplets when they turned five. They may not have even known that the grandkids would get gifts. But imagine a Mirabel appearing before her mother is born. Maybe even a month or so.

Pedro finds her and while there is an orphanage that isn't commonly used, this sweet little girl seems so clingy. She even kinda reminds him of himself and Alma. Alma isn't sure but finds Mirabel delightful. So...they take her in as their own daughter.

Mirabel is there for the birth of the triplets. And the start of the war. She had never been so scared in her life. It was just like Abuela's story but a hundred times worse in person.

Being there changed things in ways nobody suspected. Pedro still moved to sacrifice himself. But this time, he did not die, and was merely injured but still his attempt and Alma were enough for the miracle to still be born.

The Encanto still formed when Mirabel helped Alma pull the injured Pedro in as the mountains formed.

Now Alma has her husband, the triplets have their father. And Mirabel has an old but familiar family, soon to become her mother's older sister, and new keeper of the candle

This is actually really interesting! I like it, a aort of time travel fix it story :)))

Most of the time travel Encanto fics I've seen are either really good, or really...weird. But I like this!

I feel like the idea of 5 year old Mirabel being sent to an orphanage and Alma and Pedro adopt her, very cute <3

They basically raise her as their own, and then she has...siblings?? I don't know how she would view them, I think it depends on how you view it.

As for saving Pedro, I think she would have rushed forward to save him, and then yeah, they have lived happily and all that, but that begs the question :

Since its time travel, would Alma at Mirabel's ceremony be aware of the time travel, or would Mirabel kind of just end up creating a completely different timeline? And would Julieta and Agustín only have 2 daughters, as opposed to three, seeing that Mirabel is literally her older sibling now?

Ummmm, it’s a mix between me and an anon. An anon had mentioned how there are so many evil Madrigal AUs where Mirabel is just straight up abused by the whole family and made up the prompt that it should be switched around its the villagers the Madrigals are evil to if they mess with Mirabel. And then I just started calling it The Protective Madrigals AU :)

I FREAKING LOVE USHIO AND TORA! I even made a little song about them when I was 13

Ushio and Tora! The descendant of a slayer finds one of the most powerful demons his ancestor took down sealed in the basement by a special weapon. He's been down there for centuries. But he tries to convince the descendant to free him, but they refuse. It later turns out that because of the way they broke the seal to the basement, now hundreds of demons that only he can see are being attracted to his city by the aura released by the demon. The only thing he has available to fight is the weapon pinning the demon to the basement. Weighing their options, he goes and takes the weapon freeing the demon. Though the demon tries to attack him, it turns out he's got a curse now binding him to anyone descended from the slayer who free him. Now they work together to take down all the invisible dangers the city now has

That would be such a cool Encanto au with a demon Mirabel and Antonio

I've never heard of this, but it sounds interesting! I like the storyline, it kind of reminds me of this one show I watch when I was in middle school, but I can't remember the name of it.

It also gives "The Devil is a Part-Timer!" Vibes, but I don't kniw why. But I like it, I really do!

Let Housebroken and Mermaid Alma be freaked out when Protective Alma said she almost put out her own candle just because she wanted Mirabel have her own room.

She's also like Cocooned as in she accepts her grandkids in every form because all she cares is that their safe, not what they look like. <3
