Brain says AU time, so here we goes.

An AU where Dee is stuck in a time loop for a long fucking while and after while he just kinda stops trying to end it and just decides to up his percentage on being a menace by around 300%.

He would take special pride in freaking out Glam. When you have infinite time, at some point you get bored. His solution? Learn to play the most random of instruments. He’d curse trough it, but he’d learn. Maybe like ocarina and like Kalimba thumb piano and Finnish zither or something. Then he’d just kinda casually play them in direct view of Glam. Of course this might be predated by ten loops where Glam is just watching Dee curse at instruments, but it’d be worth it. Maybe after a very long while he’d manage to get himself into a band or something. Whatever would confuse Glam honestly, he’s so unshakable otherwise.

Other things he could do could be the usual time loop shenanigans of just ditching school i favor of becoming a master at some random skill, like ice cream making, crocheting, or maybe Sindarin. You know you got to take breaks every once in a while.

Also, the loop would basically provide him a great chance to really lean on the blackmail and just get dirt on EVERYONE. This also makes skipping school easier, when you can just blackmail anyone to your will.

One last thing my sleep fogged brain is able to think, is like changing his style. Like obviously anyone would experiment with it for a while, no consequences after all. At some point it’d solidify somewhat tho. So at the beginning of every new loop so forth, would be started with him just having a “spontaneous” completar revamp of his wardrobe and makeup. Everyone else would obviously be confused by this, but he’d just shrug it away.

There would also be loops where he’d just not bother to hide the fact that something is different, so Victoria and Glam pick up on this and stage all kinds of interventions. Dee makes this his own speed-run category, (“fastest “talk”, no crimes or major ill will”). His fastest time on was 45minutes after his parents woke up, right at Saturday morning of the beginning of a loop. He wakes up about an hour and a half before everyone else on this particular day. The talk was because he was acting off and had cut and coloured his hair and acted “weirdly”. (Last loop ended in a gruesome way and he was still shook.)

Sorry, I’m falling asleep, so this is it.

(Of course the AU would include hurt/comfort and angst, but it would mostly be crack taken seriously, if I had to put tags on it.)

Still not actually writing anything, but if anyone does, tell me, so I can read it.

Or at least the ide that lydia and ches fall in love.

Oh my gossshhhhh, please imagine canon lydia finding glam in his early adult years and secretly going to some of his concerts and quietly beginning to pine for the hot lead singer and relating slightly to the groupie girls who fawn over him, and finally finding out his name is Ches.

She finally decides she too is sick of her father’s influence in her life despite her being a fully grown adult and she finally reaches out to Glam to at least try and mend their relationship. Glam finds out almost immediately that Lydia has a crush on Ches because she clams up and seems really shy around him and decides to help his sister at least get to know Ches.

He probably assumes they’ll have a one night stand and Lydia will disappear again, but when said ‘one night stand’ happens, it ISN’T a one night stand at all, and Ches is totally into Lydia. Glam is surprised at first but eventually is happy that he isn’t estranged from all of his family and he’s happy that Lydia starts to enjoy the metal/groupie lifestyle.

Glam would have been part of the goeitas before meeting Ches an imp and running away like in cannon. Victoria who is a hallhound glam would meet like he met in cannon. When glam comes of age he still has to furfill his roll as a goeita but he would keep his family away from it. They live in the pride ring so glam can preform his royal duties

glam is the same species as stoles but with white hair that he styles like eh styles in the show. He also has 4 eyes

Dee would look like Octavia but with white curly hair and freckled feathers

Vicky is a muscular hellhound with dark red hair and spots

Heavy is also an hellhound with dark red hair and lots of spots

glam from metal family but here are all of my headcanons and aus and what makes me good for sharing these is that i do not ever stop thinking about metal family, do not try to change my mind but definitely ask questions

i am so sorry in advance to those of u who want to read all of this

first of all i don't think i invented this one but hc glam has DID theory. source: i have DID and i see him have symptoms that i have too and i am projecting. dissociative smile? check. childhood trauma? we watched the same show right. change in personality?? you watched the show right????? i think it sounds feasible. also not demonizing DID bc im not a glam hater bc he is allowed to fuck up sometimes and dee is canonically not pressed abt the episode that makes people hate glam for some reason

further in depth on that one but i think if he were to have DID we've seen proof of either 2 or 3 different personalities in glam. id argue happy sparkly glam is one of them, and i'd say there's a more serious "sebastian" in the situation. i have mixed feelings on whether or not the alter during the dee guitar episode would be serious sebastian or some sort of traumatic recreation of glam's dad.

second is sort of canon but like. glam homeless in childhood. did he stay with ches? id say yes most of the time but god KNOWS those boys got in fights and i think glam would sleep on a park bench to get away for a while.

i also think glam is autistic and yes i am projecting again. he is so bad at being a social person and so very very good at the things he fixates on. my homie stayed up all night listening to that twisted sister record. and he literally refused to sleep so he could go practice guitar. i think this has a lot of implications with things he had to get used to being poor as well, like sure he enjoys cooking but he can't afford the best ingredients, *especially* when he was recently kicked out of his home. fortunately i think he's willing to try everything once but as we can tell by his cooking in the show he definitely has a preference for cuisine~~. also. again. the dissociative smile.

ches was glam's first kiss and it was probably at like some party playing spin the bottle and the girls ches was playing spin the bottle with were begging them to kiss because they thought it was funny or something and ches definitely expected glam to say no but he just shrugged and they kissed. glam will try anything at least once.

yeah i ship them too i think they kissed more than just once. my general sexuality hc for glam is demisexual/demiromantic and I GET IT I AM PROJECTING

finally the one AU i think about a lot and i REALLY need to draw art of this for my art blog but COWBOY AU GLAM. this was prompted by me listening to a lot of orville peck. the guitar goes fucking insane sometimes you know, and ches could sing old style country, and the babe herself vicky is a trucker in this AU and that SLAPS. country music is probably just as forbidden to glam's dad as metal was. imagine glam just busting it down to like "big green tractor" (JOKE I AM JOKING). dee's guitar episode but he's trying to learn some taylor swift song. GOLDEN
