BAJI X READER THE LITTLE MERMAID!
thank you for sticking around this long because my lazy ass lost inspiration for it after the first chapter. We love that.Anyway without further ado let’s get into it yuh…

“y/n lets go, we shouldn’t be out here, its dangerous!” the princesses best friend, Takemitchi , pleaded to her.
But none the less the girl swam on with a simple, ”don't be such a crybaby! it’ll be fine i got your back!”

“A-at least wait for me…”takemitchy gasped trying to keep up with his h/c friend. Hearing this the young girl stopped but soon sped off again seeing the thing she was looking for.
“There it is…” the girl said pointing to the wreckage that used to be a beautiful ship. “Isn’t it fantastic!” she squealed.
“Yeah, yeah it’s awesome.. OK WE’VE SEEN IT NOW LETS GO! I gotta bad feeling ‘bout this place.” The boy said desperately trying to get the girl to leave with him. But the girl being as stubborn always, ignored his warning and swam off to the boat leaving him no choice but to follow her.
“ come on Y/n I feel like I’m comin’ down with something. Like my throat feels all itchy and-“
“now don’t tell me you’re getting cold fins now are you?” The h/c girl cut him off.
“Me? NO WAY!”
“then I suggest we get our fins in there and explore mr. Bravery!”
“I told you no way I’m not getting in that thing. You can literally see the mold growing on it!”
“Fine then,” she smirked,”you can just say out here and watch out for sharks~”
“Alright- wait SHARKS!? OK OK MAYBE THIS PLACE ISN'T SO BAD!” He yelled swimming into the ship, unknowingly getting the attention of something big.
“y-y/n do you really think that there might be s-sharks in here?” He friend nervously asked.
“Oh takemitchy don’t be such a guppy!” The girl giggled.
“I’m not a guppy….”
They continued exploring the abandoned place as the princess gushed about all the cool things they where finding.
Suddenly takemitchy slammed into a skeleton and jumped back breaking some of the ship down.
“HOLY SHIT TAKEMITCHY ARE YOU OK!?”
“yeah I’m fine let’s just get out of here before we see a- SHARK!!!”
All of the sudden a huge shark was heading straight towards them. They swam all around trying to get away or though something at it to catch it off guard but nothing worked, as it continued to eat through it. In all of the panic Y/n had dropped her bag and swam off to get it barely escaping the sharks jaws. They swam outside and barely made it out. They where only alive because Y/n had somehow gotten the shark stuck inside an anchor.
“and this is why we listen to me.” Takemitchy said as they swam to the surface.
“oh whatever… crybaby!” The girl teased
“I AM NOT!”
shortly latter they where at the surface where a certain pink stained seagull was lounging around muttering nonsense.
“SANZU!! GUESS WHAT WE FOUND!” The little mermaid squealed!
“oh holy jesus!” He yelled holding out his telescope,”MERMAID OFF THE PORT BOW! Y/N HOW YOU DOING KID!” He put his instrument down and added,” damn that’s a hell of a swim you did. But more importantly, Let’s see whatcha got this time sweetie!”
“ok first I have this weird thing,” she says pulling the silver object outta her bag.
“Ooh, look at this!” He gazed mesmerized by the object. “it’s a DINGLEHOPPER!”
“ it’s a what?” The h/c girl said confused.
“ looks like I gotta explain huh?” The bird said with fake pizazz.
“uh yeah you kinda do,” takemitchy said with the most sass he could put in a sentence. He always hated sanzu but never could tell why. Ehh maybe in another life he could know.
“oh since you insist~ Humans use these babies to straighten their hair out. Just a little twist here and a yank there,” he demonstrated,” and you gotta due that humans go nuts over!”
“Wow that’s so cool!” The princess exclaimed.”what about this one!” She says holding up a peculiar looking object.
“In all my years… i’d never thought I would ever see one of these!” He said in awe.
“WHAT IS IT,WHAT!”
“it’s a banded, bulbous, snarfblat!”
“Oooh sweet what does it do!”
“welp this little baby goes back to ancient times where humans would just sit down, and stair at each other. It got very boring. So one day the humans got up and made this this baby to create fine music-“
“music…. OH SHIT THE CONCERT MY FATHERS GONNA KILL ME!” She girl yelled as she gathered her things!
“THANK YOU SANZU!” The girl said swimming away.
“ANY TIME SWEETIE!”
that was the last thing she heard as she and her best friend swam to the depth of the ocean.

Taking a bath with him. There is a yellow light illuminating the room, a couple of plants around the bathtub and soft music playing in the background as the steam is rising and covers the room. He is seated behind you and you are leaning on his chest as you are sat between his legs. Nothing sexual going on. (The Stolen Prince) Wukong was sobbing, his fist was clenched in anger as tears streamed down his face "Xiaotian's gone! I-It's all my fault!"
Bajie was furious "WHEN I FIND THE LOUSY PUNKS WHO TOOK HIM, I'M GOING TO MAKE THEM PAY..." Wujing was busy comforting the king "it wasn't your fault Wukong...."
“It is.” Wukong panted out, pulling away from Wujing’s gentle pats. “It is, I was the one not keeping an eye on them, I-” A harsh sob, too much like his sobs when the fillet activated, shook his body. “It’s all my fault.”
Things...fell apart after that.
Sun Wukong continued to search for his lost child. While he was away, a king called upon the pilgrims for help and Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing answered. Apparently, a demon was causing chaos in the kingdom, much greater than whatever forces he sent. Bajie had scoffed that the army that was sent with them was overkill.
That is, until they found the demon.
And then...
“Sandy?”
Wujing blinked. Everyone was staring at him, mid-grab or scoop to fill up their plates again. Qi Xiaotian was the one who had called out. His big brown eyes stared up at him. “Are you okay? You’re crying.”
Wujing blinked as he reached up. His fingers found something wet. Oh.
“I’m...” He wiped away the tears. Wukong’s eyes burrowed into his skin and he gulped. “I just remembered something.” He glanced at Pigsy and Tang. “Remember the night you guys got engaged?”
Pigsy burst into laughter. “Oh boy, do I ever...”
Xiaotian and Xiaojiao gasped, both sitting up. “Do we get to hear the story now?!” the latter said, pulling out her phone. “Ooh, I bet it was super sweet and wholesome!”
Wujing shook his head. “Not really. I mean, if you’re into fistfights, sure.” The kids, including Red Son, leaned in.
It helped with Wukong’s eyes in his skin.

Welcome to The Journey to the West (西游记) Daily!
You are about to beging a reading journey to get the hidden Buddhist texts accompanied by the monk Tang Sanzang, Sun Wukong, Sha Wujing, Zhu Bajie and Bai Long Ma.
To beging this journey you must subscribe to the newsletter, which you will find at https://journeytothewestdaily.substack.com/. You wil receive your first email this week, welcoming you and sharing information about what's to come and what I will include in the emails.
However, beforehand I want to tell you already that you won't receive a daily email, despite the name of the newsletter. The chapters are dense and full of references to folklore or religion references that you might be unfamiliar with, so you will receive an email every 2 or 3 days maximum.
If this is the first time that you hear about this newsletter and you don't know what Journey to the West is...
The classical Chinese novel Journey to the West is an extended account of the legendary pilgrimage of the Tang dynasty Buddhist monk Xuanzang, who traveled to the "Western Regions" (Central Asia and India) to obtain Buddhist sūtras (sacred texts) and returned after many trials and much suffering. Gautama Buddha gives this task to the monk, whose name in the novel is Tang Sanzang, and provides him with three protectors who agree to help him as an atonement for their sins. These disciples are the Monkey King, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing, together with a dragon prince who acts as the monk's steed, a white horse. The group of pilgrims journey towards enlightenment by the power and virtue of cooperation.
The novel is perfect for the epistolary format, since it's is divided in different and disconnected adventures, so you don't have to always remember what happened in the previous chapter to read the next!
We'll be reading Anthony C. Yu's translation since it is the first unabridged version that we have available in English. It is about 100 chapters long.

synopsis: he says i love you for the first time.

shuji hanma loved everything about you.
the way you looked, the color of your eyes, your hair- how you do your hair, the little dance you made before eating your favourite food, the smile you had when he bought you flowers just because he felt like it, your kindness- he just loved all of you.
but one thing he loved more than anything about you... was the way you looked when you were mad at him.
there was just something about the way your pretty face would turn into a scowled, your brows frowning and lets not forget the intimidating look you were sending him.
you looked like an angry kitten.
"you can't just climb up my window every time you get in trouble hanma-"
"shuji" he corrected you with a smile on his face as he ate the snack you gave him a couple of minutes earlier.
"-shuji! my experience in treating injuries has its limits" you were walking around your room rambling about how careless he was being, completely unaware of the fact that he was enjoying this, "you can't show up every night- what if my neighbours saw you- worse what if my parents saw you!"
"they won't see me-"
"maybe i should start locking my windows-"
"don't lie to yourself, princess... you won't lock me out-"
"you're right-! god you are so frustrating!" you groaned rubbing your temples, "but i am serious about walking in my room half dead- never do that again. i may want to lock you out but it doesn't mean that i want you dead- you're a person of nice company and i don't want you to die-"
shuji stayed quiet as you kept lecturing him on how careless he was... he let his eyes drifted from your face to your body... and most specifically what you were wearing.
you wore one of his shirt with your christmas pyjama pants- even if there was 7 months left before christmas- but the last time he questioned your choice in clothes he received the flowers he had bought you on the head so he kept his opinion to himself.
out of sudden, hanma stood up from your desk chair, walking up to you with a cocky smile on his face. "shuji? what are you-"
he grabbed the back of your neck, smashing his lips into yours. you stumbled back but quickly melted into the kiss, your lips moving in sync like they had done many times before, with his 'sin' hand secured behind your head while his 'punishment' hand was on your hip.
"god- i love you so much." he muttered when he pulled away before moving your face towards his again so he could press his lips into yours in a chaste kiss.
your face was warm and your lips swollen when you finally looked in the lovestruck eyes of your boyfriend.
i love you so much
"i love y-"
"i didn't say it because i wanted you to say it back, princes..." shuji placed his hands on your cheeks pressing one last kiss on your forehead, "i just needed you to know that i love you."
you looked up to your boyfriend with heart in your eyes, completely forgetting why you were arguing about. you softly smile at him before tilting your head up to press a kiss on his jaw.
"i love you too, idiot"
keisuke baji
keisuke never felt more stressed out in his life.
he just couldn't mess this up.
he had run every possible scenarios in his head- he was ready-
"hey, kei'! i was looking everywhere for you-"
never mind- aboard mission aboard mission!
"h-hey, (y/n)!" his voice cracked, "y-you were?"
you smiled wrapping your arms around his arm, pressing a kiss on his red cheek, "yeah, i thought we could eat lunch together, is that alright?"
as you walked down the empty hall, you realized that your boyfriend was being fidgety, looking round, not really paying attention to what you were saying, "is everything alright, keisuke?"
your question made the delinquent stop walking, he was clutching a bag with his right hand, hesitating to look at you in the eyes, "(y/n)... i-.."
"are you breaking up with me?"
his eyes snapped to meet yours, his free hand immediately grabbing your hand, "no! never! i swear- it's just that... i have- i need.."
"i'm playing with you... don't worry" you laughed at his expression, "how about you tell me what's going on in that pretty head of yours?"
pretty... she thinks i'm pretty...
keisuke hurriedly grabbed what was in the bag, pulling out a heart shape box of chocolate with a hand made card. he gave both of the gifts to you, immediately looking away once you realized what he had given you.
"is it our anniversary?!" you panicked, "i'm such a bad girlfriend- i forgot our own anniversary- oh god!"
"what no!" baji explained, "i just thought that you might like it so... just read the letter already."
you opened the letter your boyfriend freezing when you realized what he had gifted you, "y-you wrote me a love letter?"
keisuke rubbed the back of his neck, clearing his throat, "yeah... chifuyu helped me with the words and stuff so sorry if there's some mistakes or- why are you crying?!"
you threw yourself in his arms, "i have the best boyfriend in the world- thank you so much, keisuke!"
the said man automatically wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you closer to him, inhaling your scent, "i- i love you a lot, (y/n)"
"i love you too, kei'"
manjiro 'mikey' sano
it was one of those rare days where manjiro woke up of a nap before you. he tilted his head to the side trying to ignore the warm light streaming through the window in your room.
he blinked his eyes a couple of times, adjusting to the light, slowly registering that something was wrong.
that's when he realized that your back was facing him. he wasn't cuddled in your arms like how he remembered you two falling asleep.
he frowned, his eyes glaring daggers in the back of your sleeping self. he had never glared at you before- he never needed to. you were his light in the dark world he lived in.
but how could you do this to him? mikey tried to remember what he did wrong... did he kicked you in his sleep? did he accidentally bit you like he did that one time? (the time where he dreamt he was in a pool full of dorayaki).
a good 30 minutes later, you started to drift back to life, not yet aware of the state your boyfriend was in. you turned around, expecting to see a peacefully sleeping mikey, only to find him narrowing his eyes at you.
you were now fully awake, a smile spreading on your face at your boyfriend's morning self... even if he tried to look serious while looking at you, his morning hair betrayed him, "good morning-"
"are you mad at me?" what a good way to start the day...
you frowned at his words, "no, why? did you do something you shouldn't have?" then you remembered a nightmare he talked to you about not long ago, "did you have that dream where i ate all of your snacks? because i didn't-"
"what no-!" manjiro frowned with a pained expression on his face, "don't you like me anymore? is that why you turned your back on me?"
you suppress a chuckle that threatened to come out, "aw i'm sorry, 'jiro... i must've turned in my sleep... i won't do it again, i promise!"
he suddenly put both of. his hands on either side of your face, bringing you closer to him, "i love you a lot, alright? i need your face to be the first thing i see when i wake up- so don't turn away from me again- ever."
i love you a lot
those words kept repeating themselves in your head like a mantra.
"(y/n)? are you still with me?" manjiro asked you, bringing his face even closer to yours so that your nose were touching.
"you love me?" your face slowly growing hotter and hotter after every passing seconds.
"um? of course i do- didn't i made it clear when i shared food with you last week?"
you tilted your head to the side pressing your lips against his, making him hummed in content. "i love you, manjiro..." you mumbled when you pulled away for air.
"of course you do!"

Summary:

In an attempt to tame the wild prince, the queen calls for a powerful witch to aid him with his cause, hoping to put an end to this quest sooner. What she didn't count on was love being what he needed most.

Note: Welcome to my first Tokyo Revengers series~ I know it's weird for my first series to be an AU and not cannon, but I've had this idea in mind for some time now and really wanted to let it out of my system lol, I hope you guys like it~

Chapter 1: The witch and the Prince
The Kingdom of Tokyo was noticeably the most powerful in the entire realm.
The previous King had done nothing but good things and had taken them to the highest position they could ever wish for; but he was reckless, and ended up passing at a very young age, leaving a promising future to wither with his corpse.
His wife, ended up as queen regent since their son was still too young to assume the throne. But sadly, he had inherited his father’s wild nature, and was nothing but a headache.
Being honest, the queen didn’t want to be it at all. She had married the king without even knowing who he was, it was pure love at first sight and truth to be told, his wild and reckless side was what drove her to him. She was not prepared to be queen and clearly had no interest of ever being so, but she had to take care of her husband’s legacy, at least until their son became of age to assume his role as king.
Baji Keisuke, also known as the crown prince, was not your average prince…
While he wasn’t lacking on the looks of one, his attitude was the complete opposite of what one would expect.
He was indeed smart and well versed in the arts of ruling a kingdom, yet his passion laid in battle.
Just as his father, he was constantly in the field instead of sitting on the throne listening to the town people’s complaints.
The royal guard were more like his friends than anything and would follow him anywhere.
At the head of the Royal guard was the youngest knight in history, Matsuno Chifuyu, the prince’s right hand. While he was young and seemingly inexperienced, he did more than a fantastic job aiding the prince in all his endevours, just as the second officer in command did, Satou Ryusei; though he was a lot more unreliable.
But the prince didn’t need protectors, he was strong enough. Hence, the entire army would listen to him and just him, even if Sano Mickey was indeed their actual leader and the best there was.
While the Kingdom of Tokyo was normally pretty safe and wasn’t under an ongoing war, there was a terrorist group that wanted to destroy the royal family and overtake the kingdom.
They called themselves, Valhalla.
While Hanma Shuji, their leader in name, wasn’t that much of a threat, Hanemiya Kazutora was.
He used to be a good friend of the prince, grew up playing together with him and the head of the army duo, Sano Captain and Ryuguji Ken, his right hand. They used to be best friends, all sneaked in the castle daily just to play with the young prince who was very much bored practicing how to write properly, a true joy and his best memories of childhood.
But his state of mind wasn’t always the best and after committing an awful, unforgettable crime, he was sent to the dungeons for well over a couple of years. There, he made friends of the wrong kind, and that’s what led him to be part of this horrible organization that threats the wellbeing of the entire kingdom.
So for obvious reasons, the prince was even more involved in this quest of sorts than usual. He wanted to dissolve this stupid gang, not so much thinking of the wellbeing of the kingdom, as he should be doing, but he really wanted to save his friend, to punch some sense into that empty head of his and make him realize that’s not his place to be at but at their side, just like the old times.
This quest of his resulted in multiple assaults to the Royal guard, the prince himself getting hurt in the process…and that was the last drop of patience for the queen herself.
“Keisuke you moron! Until when are you going to keep chasing that lost sheep? He’s a threat to our kingdom just send Ryusei to kill him, he has no feelings towards him…I’m sick of this quest of yours, you should be leading this kingdom not punching children!” the queen wasn’t one of decor, but that was part of her charm.
“I’m not leaving him, mother…he needs to understand what he’s doing is wrong. If his friends give up on him, then who’s going to save him?”
“Have you ever stop and think maybe he doesn’t want to be saved? Maybe he likes being with this kids better than with you. Maybe he is happy with what he’s doing and doesn’t want you saving him…” she really wanted to smack her son on the head, but he’s all covered in scratches and his arm might be broken according to the royal doctor.
“You don’t know him, mother…not like we do…” he was visibly exhausted, but his resolution would just not let him give up on his friend.
“That’s it, I’m calling her..” this got his attention, “Calling who?” he could feel anger bubbling up in his core, she was definitely going to send an assassin of her own guard to kill them all, his worst nightmare. “The witch of the forest of course.”
“Who?” that was not what he was expecting…
“The witch of the forest. You need help if you want to end this Valhalla gang thing. They don’t have magic do they? Well you’re the prince, you have more resources, if you want to “save” this friend of yours, I’m going to help you capture him alive. But the rest of the gang…I won’t accept any of them unharmed. Understood?” like the happiest puppy wagging its tail to their master, he got up and the annoyed frown from his face was nowhere to be seen. “Yes, mother.”
In all truth he didn’t like magic. To him using magic felt like cheating, but if that would avoid Kazutora from being hanged in the plaza for treason, he’d take it.

The witch of the forest, a legend of sorts, has always been present in the lore of the kingdom. An unknown force loyal to the crown, always there to rely on her in times of need.
No one knew how old she was, or what she looked like even. So to say Baji Keisuke was surprised when he saw the most beautiful young woman he’s ever seen in his life standing in front of him, smiling warmly as she bowed greeting him, was an understatement.
“I thought you’d be like 500 years old…” really smooth Keisuke…Chifuyu could be seen shaking his head in the background while Ryusei couldn’t help but bursting out laughing.
“I’m about our age, your majesty. The title of the witch of the forest gets passed down through generations, just as the crown will be yours one day.” she was so gracious, the way she moved, the way words came out of her mouth so beautifully, she was definitely not a normal human…
“Ugh…ok yeah…good! I mean…” he cleared his throat as to clarify what he was trying to say, “It’s good that you’re not an old lady, it would be awkward to work together since we are all in the young side…” he could feel Chifuyu’s disapproving gaze on the back of his neck. He was really not the best at talking to pretty girls, but then again, he never has to…
The lovely giggles that left your lips caused an entire tornado of emotions go rampage inside the prince, he could swear a cow just went flying by his liver as she looked at him with those sparkly beautiful eyes. “I won’t really need your help though, as you may know, we are already pretty strong. Your job is to put Kazutora in some sort of restraint so we can take him with us. The army will take care of the rest.” Ryuguji Ken, otherwise known by everyone as Draken, was nodding at his orders representing the military portion, so you just nodded as well. “Very well, my prince. I will do as you say.”
Her prince? He’s now ‘her’ prince…? Yes…he definitely was…100%…
His face was doing all sort of things now as his brain went down a dangerous path full of pink hearts floating, when Chifuyu got closer, whispering to his ear, “My king…you’re everyone’s prince…she doesn’t mean anything by that statement.”
“Oh….um…I knew that already…” coughing awkwardly, he got up from the throne, barking orders for everyone this time, “We'll leave tomorrow at dawn, I expect you all to be ready for battle by then.” He just went down the stairs, bumping onto your shoulder and giving you a nasty glare. While he was dying in the inside, he was also just a tiny bit upset that he was reading too much into things.
“He’s a great guy, think nothing of it. He’s just a bit embarrassed.” Chifuyu, being the angel he is, wanted to make sure his beloved friend wasn’t misunderstood, “He’s a bit rough in the outside but he’s a wonderful friend and has a very generous heart.” you smiled back at the blonde knight, blushing a little at his charming and soothing way of carrying himself. His words did make you feel better though and you were grateful for that.

It was now time to leave and you were going through your bag making sure you had everything you needed, waiting for the prince by Chifuyu’s side. Which seemingly bothered Keisuke.
The queen had given you another set of orders, you were to follow her son’s commands, yes. But you were also supposed to keep him safe. He was to return safely without a scratch on his handsome face, otherwise you’d be hanged in the plaza with the rest of Valhalla. So you’ve prepared a bunch of healing potions, just in case.
“What are you, his shadow now?” Keisuke scoffed as he saw you behind Chifuyu. You weren’t even that close, he was doing his thing and you were doing yours, nothing to fuzz about, but oh boy, was he jealous…
“Chifuyu, go with Ryusei. Witch, you go with Draken.” nodding, you walked over to the tall man wearing his military uniform, smiling warmly up at him he lifted you up like a princess and set you up on his horse before sitting behind you and keeping you close so you wouldn’t fall.
“Well shit…”
“See? She was better off with me…” Chifuyu snickered as he went on his horse all the way to the front to lead everyone out and towards Valhalla’s hidden territory.
The way there was actually lovely, the weather was nice and you’ve never seen as much of the kingdom. Draken was a gentleman and he would show you things of interest along the way, even picking a rare flower from a tree that you were interested in.
In reality, you wanted it for a potion, and that’s why he got it for you. But all Keisuke could see was a lot of flirting and giggling, love in the air as one would say. “What happened to Emma-chan you bastard…?damn womanizer…”
Chifuyu, Ryusei and Mickey could only laugh at his reactions, he was truly adorable, like a child who got his favorite toy stolen.
Though, once you arrived, the mood changed quite rapidly.
Even the trees seem to be changing, no longer green and lush, more like the dead landscape of winter. “I thought…they didn’t use magic…”
“They don’t…do they?” Draken was suddenly taken aback by your statement, all sources indicated they were nothing but a bunch of raunchy teens.
“You see those trees? We are in the middle of summer, Ryuguji-san…this is definitely a magical field. A powerful one, it’s giving me goosebumps…the blood thirst in the air…”
“Good thing we brought’ya then.” nodding, you got your staff out, getting ready for a different type of battle.
“Your majesty, the girl says they have a magic wielder. We must be cautious.”
“Cautious my ass, I’ll kick them all where it hurts and we can go home with Kazutora before lunch.”
The prince had a reputation of being invincible, but this was different, you had an awful gut feeling, though before you could say anything, scary looking guys came out of nowhere from every possible direction. They looked almost like zombies, like if someone was controlling them like puppets. “Chifuyu…they have a high level wizard amongst them. I will go see where the spell is coming from, they’re being controlled, don’t hurt them.” he just nodded and kicked one of them on the face as it was coming after you, giving you enough time to go your way.
On top of a big pile of trash rested a hazy figure, a dark aura coming out of him, “So they called back ups…I won’t let you interfere with my plans…”
“Who are you…?”
“Kisaki Tetta at your service, lovely. Wielder of dark magic and the one who will kill the Baji dynasty, the commander of the army must become our true leader…Valhalla is where he belongs…”
“Kill you say….?” without letting him finish you sprinted back to where the fight was, desperately looking for Keisuke…”My prince…where are you…?” drops of blood kept flying from everywhere, making your uneasiness grow, but then you saw a dash of blond hair running towards the prince with a knife in his hand.
Casting a spell has never been easier, in a split of a second Prince Keisuke was floating in a bubble above everyone else. Kazutora was left speechless as his target disappeared right in front of his eyes, the confused crazed look on his face a disturbing sight. “I will not let you touch him, you rat! CHIFUYU NOW!” In a matter of seconds Kazutora was surrounded by the top tier of the royal guard and the army as well.
“Capture him alive, respect the prince's wishes. The wizard already escaped…but I had to save your majesty...”
“You did good (Y/N)…thank you…” Chifuyu lost two lives at the moment he saw you cast your spell, seeing his best friend and role model almost being killed right there and then, an awful revelation.
Keisuke was watching everything from his comfortable and safe bubble, the way you commanded his men, the way you saved his life…how you chose to save him even if that meant letting a dark wizard escape. Even if these were his mother’s orders, he could see in your face how terrified you were when you saw that knife in Kazutora’s hand. You can’t order people how to feel, that was real fear.
It made him feel warm inside…for a few seconds at least, until he realized the weight of the situation and the fact that one of his best friends really wanted him dead…
