any bonten headcanons? i just think seeing em all interact is fun
Oh definitely!!! Here are the ones I came up with!
Kakucho is the glue that holds this team together, whenever he takes a day off things become more chaotic.
Pretty much no one listens to Koko's presentations, Koko has a grudge against all of them because of this.
Mikey will sometimes just disappear, like they'll search everywhere for him but won't be able to find him. He always comes back though, the others suspect he has a hiding place somewhere.
Sanzu threatens to use his katana on the Haitani brother's after they tease him about something often.
Takeomi smokes more then he did before, he often says "I'm too old for this" too.
Ran takes a lunch break everyday and refuses to be flexible with it, even if it's an emergency. *Ran calmly sipping coffee while everyone's fighting behind him*
Kakucho was the first to get his tattoo then everyone else just kinda copied him (Mikey's orders)
Mochi isn't caught up on any of the bonten drama, he has no idea what the Haitani's are talking about when they try to fill him in on the gossip.
There's a hole in the wall in one of their buildings where someone obviously punched it but no one has admitted to doing it so it's a mystery.
They're so used to bad assassination attempts that they don't even phase them anymore.
The Haitani brother's insist on taking Kakucho out for dinner a lot (they baby him a bit)
Pretty much all of them have either taiyaki or dorayaki on hand to give to Mikey (it's considered a good idea to carry it in case he's in a bad mood)
One time during a fight, Sanzu accidentally grabbed a taiyaki from his pocket instead of his gun so he just threw the taiyaki at the guy.
Rindou enjoys interrogations a lot since if he gets to do them then he uses his joint locking technique to break their bones one at a time.
Koko has the nicest office
Ran secretly likes it when the police and media publish photos of them (he normally makes sure he looks perfect for this reason)
Sanzu and Kakucho have a rivalry going on (the Haitani brother's love to gossip about it)
The building has accidentally been set on fire at least 5 times

Do you have any headcannon on Peh yah or Pah chin
Cause their my favorite duo even do they get very little screen time
I love them
Yeah I have a few, here they are!
Peh is jealous of Pochi
They have a secret high five and handshake routine
Peh used to third wheel Yumi and Pah a lot on their dates. Until he officially started dating Yasuda, then they all went on double dates.
Both of their families basically treat them like second sons
Peh always cheers very loudly for Pah during his arm wrestling matches
They always put in a lot of effort of each other's birthdays
Pah brought up Peh's bad letter writing to him when he eventually got out
They clung to each other even more after Yumi was forced to move away when they were kids. Knowing that they could also be forced to leave at some point, it made them cling to each other harder.
They often talk and debate about the silliest scenarios
As kids they would occasionally try to study together but it never went well as they always got distracted.
Peh tried to give Pah an encouraging speech before his wedding
They will throw hands with anyone who says the third division isn't the best division
In the good timeline their estate business is very successful
Peh has to help out a lot at home, Pah will sometimes help out with this.
They cried during their reunion after Pah got released

You know when i see the Study Ac with Baji and Chifuyu and the teacher who was eager to see Baji fail (what a teacher by the way...)
I can just imagine Inupi and Koko with Koko hearing teachers speaking bad about his (-boy) bestfriend and being like "fuck off i make him in the top 3" and Inupi not doing his best at school but when he want it, he has super good results.
Meanwhile Koko is looking at the teacher with a smug smile.
This is even funnier when thinking that they might have not gone to the same school later on too. Like Inui just randomly sitting in on Koko's classes with him or Koko going along to Inui's school to make sure he actually pays attention.

Koko: Every now and then we have these little gatherings, and Kakucho gets plastered. One time I convinced him to fax someone a fruit roll-up.
At the same time:
Mochi: There's a whole room in the fourth floor where we store the knives we've confiscated from people who went to the fourth floor to stab someone
Bonten but make it Parks & Recreation HEHEHE

I have a bit of a complicated relationship with nsfw, I do technically write it but only on like specific days and I don't know what days those are.
#I've yet to figure out why I'm ok with it some days but it triggers me on other days#technically people can request it and there are requests in the box rn but just be aware that it will probably take a long time to get done#longer then the sfw hc's and stuff

Hi! Such a question! Do you agree that Mitsuya is the biggest green flag? (a lot of people think so). Personally, I think there is still someone like Naoto.
Well this is probably going to differ slightly between people, since everyone probably has slightly different tastes and opinions on what the greenest flag would be. I think both of them would be green flags though, as for who is better that probably comes down to personal choice. We've also never seen either of these character's in a romantic relationship before.

I had a random question about South pop up in my head that I thought I’d pick your brain about! Knowing what we do about South, and given how… unruly he is, do you think he has the ability to care for someone? Like, genuinely care for someone, be it in a friendly manner or romantically. Or do you think he’s too far gone after everything he’s been through and done throughout his life?

Ah that's actually a pretty good question! I'm not sure we see enough of South to 100% know either, especially after he comes to Japan and his relationships with the other rokuhara tandai members (aside from Shion who he dislikes). But we do know they've spent a lot of time together which could hint at friendship but of course that doesn't mean he truly cares about them.
We also know from his room that he has a lot of plushies and although they're not people, it seems like he cares about them too.
And we also have the good timeline, as far as we're aware he goes through the same stuff there, with the only changes happening after he comes to Japan. And he certainly seems happy and friends with everyone there, which suggests he can care for others. So yes I think he can, it's just that we didn't really get to see this in the series, because he was the antagonist in the three deities arc and then died.

Just went to a Kinokuniya and wow the full color versions of the manga are so small?? Are japanese versions of manga always smaller than the english translated version?
Also curious, how do you get such good scans of the colored manga? Do you buy one, cut the spine and scan the pages?
Yeah they are! We can see the size differences between the 18th volumes here
The ones I normally upload are the digital copies of the manga, not the physical ones.
