#pansy x female reader
Hiii, I have a request but it's totally fine if you don't want to do it. I know you mostly write for Draco but would you do a Pansy and fem reader where they are roommates and friends but the reader has a crush on her and one day they have a sleepover or something and they end up in the same bed and they confess their feelings. You really don't have to do it, if you don't just ignore it. Love your writing BTW ^^
Thank you so much for your request! This is my first time writing for Pansy so let me know what you think of it. Also, I honestly didn´t like Pansy in the books but I absolutely adore the way she is portrayed in most fanfics, so writing this was quite a challenge but so much fun.
Sleepover
“(Y/n). (Y/n), wake up!”
You groaned and cuddled yourself deeper into the warmth of your bed, trying to ignore the undesirable noise, disturbing your sleep. But if you had hoped that this would save you from further interruptions, you were wrong. Because just as you were ready to drift off into sleep again, your blanket was pulled away from you, exposing your heated skin to the cool air of your dorm.
Fluttery, you opened your eyes and squinted at the shadow hovering over you, your blanket still in their hand.
“For Salazar´s sake, Pansy. Why can´t you just leave me alone? I want to sleep.”, you groused, as you slowly sat up, burying your face in your hands as you tried to adapt yourself to the situation.
The girl in front of you let out a small chuckle before she threw your blanket on the opposite side of your bed and started pacing around the room.
“You don’t really want me to tell Snape that you rather slept in than join his class, do you?”, she asked, while gathering all of her belongings together.
Right now, getting in trouble with Snape was in your eyes an acceptable price for a few more hours of sleep, but you knew that the moment your mind would clear up again, you would regret this decision like no other in your entire life. Still, you needed to take a moment to get yourself together and prepare mentally for the upcoming day. So you pulled your knees to your chest and watched Pansy scurrying around. As your gaze followed her lightweight steps, you couldn’t help but wonder how she got that much energy that early in a day already. While you needed half an hour to even form a single clear thought, she was ready for the day the moment she opened her eyes. You envied her for that ability of hers, but you were also thankful for it. Because Pansy had already saved you countless times from sleeping in and getting late to class. Luckily, the girl refused to let her friend rush headlong into disaster with her eyes wide open, so she refused to leave without you, even if that meant that she had missed breakfast more than once herself.
Lost in your thoughts you watched her walking up to your closet, examining your clothes with narrowed eyes, even though she was aware of the fact that the dress code didn’t leave much room for modish freedom. Distracted by the way Pansy furrowed her eyebrows and pursed her lips, you didn’t even realize how she made her decision, picking out some clothes and throwing them at you.
When your robe hit your face, you flinched.
“Pansy!”, you griped, even though her actions had at least caused you to finally wake up properly.
You could see the mischievous grin playing around her lips as she crossed her arms in front of her chest and looked at you.
“We don’t have all day, princess. Now get dressed so we can leave. I´m starving already.”
Slowly, you got out of your bed and gathered your things together. When you walked towards the bathroom sluggishly, something hit the back of your head.
“You forgot your tie.”, Pansy stated, and even though you couldn’t see her, you could hear the grin in her voice.
You rolled your eyes.
“One day I´m going to kill you.”, you mumbled, more to yourself than your friend.
“You won´t. You would be lost without me.”, Pansy contradicted.
“I wouldn’t be.”, you responded, by now with a small smile on your face as well.
Because Pansy was right. You would be lost without her indeed.
When you left the bathroom only minutes later, looking somewhat presentable, Pansy was sitting on her bed, her leg bouncing up and down impatiently. She lifted her head when she heard the door open and you noticed the hint of a smile as she stood up, handing you your bag.
“Ready?”, she asked.
You smiled at her sweetly.
“Ready.”
Pansy mirrored your smile, but then she frowned again and let out a sigh. Her bag dropped on the floor and she stepped in your way, just as you were about to leave.
“Pansy… what?”, you asked in confusion, as the girl stood in front of you, her face only centimetres away from yours, her eyes interlocked with yours.
But the girl didn’t answer. Instead, she brought her hands to your neck, making your breath hitch. Pansy´s hand slightly ghosted over your exposed skin, before grabbing the collar of your blouse. Gently, she tugged your tie under it, before turning down the collar again. You held your breath as you watched her fingers tracing down the soft fabric of your blouse, before grabbing the tie once more, fixing the knot, you had tied only loosely. You watched her fingers working wonders, fixing the mess you had made as if you were in a trance. Only when she pulled the knot so tight, you nearly choked, you came back to reality, blinking at Pansy irritated.
“I´m fixing your tie. What did you think?”, she smirked, before readjusting it one last time.
Yes, what had you been thinking? What had you been thinking, when Pansy walked up to you, stopping only centimetres away from you? When you had felt the heat she radiated and smelled her perfume? When you had felt her fingers on your skin? You didn’t know the answer to this question yourself. All you knew was that your thoughts weren’t what they were supposed to be if she would have actually been nothing but a friend to you. Pansy was a great friend for sure. She had always been, ever since you met on your first day at Hogwarts. You had been literally inseparable ever since. At first, you had been slightly scared that Pansy was simply friends with you since you were the most obvious choice. You didn’t deal much with students who weren’t in Slytherin as well, the boy´s from your year were great, but they were boys after all, Millicent was quite nice, but not exactly best friend material, and even though you got along great with Daphne, since her younger sister attended the school as well, you barely ever saw her. But as time went by, the bond between Pansy and you grew much stronger and soon you had no doubts that the two of you had so much more than just a friendship of convenience. But unfortunately, the closer the two of you grew, the more you realized that the relationship the two of you had wasn’t exactly the one you were yarning for. Because slowly, you had fallen for your so-called best friend, not even noticing it, until one day the realization had hit you like a train, catching you by surprise and never letting you go again afterwards. And the worst part about the entire situation was that you had no idea if Pansy was feeling the same way as you did. Sometimes you thought you had caught her, looking at you in a way she didn’t look at anyone else, touching you in a way she didn’t touch anyone else, laughing at your jokes as she did at nobody else´s, but then again, wasn’t that exactly what a best friend was there for? From time to time, it was quite obvious that she was flirting with you, but you were aware of the fact that this didn’t make you special. It was just one of Pansy´s traits, looking at people with doe eyes, making some casual remarks that could easily be mistaken for something else, while she just watched with amusement how people got flustered due to her actions. You had always been one of her easiest victims, letting her irritate you effortlessly, but ever since you had developed your not-so-small crush on your friend, it had gotten even worse. Pansy was fully aware of the effect she had on you, but neither you knew if she was aware of the fact that whenever you blushed deeply at her seemingly innocent comments or touches, it wasn’t only due to the fact that her flirtiness embarrassed you, but much more because it was her doing these things to you. Nor you knew if, whenever she got you into a situation like now, looking at you with innocent eyes after she had fixed your tie and nearly gave you a heart attack while doing so, she was doing it because of her playful nature and didn’t give it a second thought, or if she had some deeper intentions when it came to you. And even though you hoped for the latter, you never brought the theme up, scared that if your speculation was wrong, you might ruin everything you had built up over the last years. But then again, you knew that this was most likely only half of the truth. Because even if you would unbosom yourself to your friend and she wouldn’t return your feelings, you knew for sure that Pansy would never turn her back on you. If anything, you felt as if you would be the one who wouldn’t be able to continue the friendship, knowing that you had exposed yourself and that your feelings would always be only one-sided. You rather kept on playing pretend, living for moments like these, where Pansy stood right in front of you, tilting her head slightly, an amused grin playing around her lips as she raised an eyebrow.
“So?”
“So what?”, you asked, irritated, now that she had snatched you out of your thoughts.
“What were you thinking I was doing?”, Pansy asked in a honeyed voice, her grin only growing wider as she noticed the faint blush creeping on your cheeks, even though you tried your best to hide it.
You returned her gaze for a few seconds, before you cleared your throat, trying to give your face an unimpressed-looking expression.
“I was thinking that you were complaining about the possibility of you starving if you won´t get some food any time soon only minutes ago and now you´re the one wasting time.” Your voice was slightly shaky, but you withstood Pansy´s glare without blinking once.
The girl narrowed her eyes, looking deep into yours, making you feel like she could stare all the way down to the bottom of your soul. It made your heart beat faster as her look gave you goosebumps while carving into your heart at the same time.
But the moment passed, and Pansy tore her gaze apart again and took a step back.
“What are we waiting for then?”, she asked, in a more normal voice now, picking up her bag, before turning on her heel and strutting through the door of your dorm.
You quickly picked up your things as well, before you followed shortly after her. As you watched her lightweight walk and heard her chirping voice as she rambled about the upcoming classes, you shook your head slightly in resignation. That girl would be the death of you.
Later that day, you were sitting at the Slytherin table in the Great Hall with Pansy and some of your friends. Suddenly Pansy nudged you and you looked at her in confusion.
“What is it?”
“I was thinking.”
You sighed.
“That doesn’t mean anything good.”
“Oh, this one is really good, trust me.”
Obviously, you trusted her, but you were also aware of the fact that this wasn’t always the best idea.
“Well, you care to tell me then?”
You could see Pansy puffing her chest proudly as she smiled at you.
“We will have a sleepover.”
She looked at you excitedly, expecting you to share her enthusiasm, but you were rather irritated.
“We?”
“Yes, we. Just the two of us. Millicent is away over the weekend, visiting her family. And Daphne will probably hang out with Astoria. It´s the perfect chance.”
“Pansy don’t get me wrong, but we share a dorm anyway. So, isn’t every night a sleepover somehow?”
Pansy shook her head before she looked at you slightly disappointed and pouted.
“But we could steal some snacks from the kitchen and play some wizarding chess or Pygmy Puff Pelmanism.” She hesitated for a moment before she added: “We could even watch one of those muggle movies you love so much.”
A small smile crept on your face as you saw Pansy glancing at you hopefully.
“No need to convince me, Pansy. I´m in.”
Your friend let out a sigh and mirrored your smile. But before the two of you could get more into detail about your planning, you were interrupted by no other than Draco, who had listened to your conversation as well.
“Care to invite us too?”, he asked with a sly grin on his face.
“Girls only, Draco.”, Pansy snapped.
“Unless you want to show up in a dress and let us braid your hair.”, you teased, making Draco grumble something incomprehensible.
“Leave them Draco. Our girls want some privacy.”, Blaise joined the conversation with a small grin on his face as his eyes shifted from you to Pansy, making you flush for no reason.
And when Pansy leant her head against your shoulder, glaring at Draco, saying “Exactly.” in a contented voice, the blush on your cheeks only darkened and you quickly looked down at your food again, shoving another fork into your mouth, so you wouldn’t have to say anything about it. But when Blaise winked at you, you had the strong suspicion that your silence spoke volumes.
The weekend came and Millicent indeed visited her parents and Daphne indeed stayed in her sister´s room, seemingly preferring her company, which at this point neither Pansy nor you minded. Over the day, you had sneaked into the castle´s kitchen, sweet-talking the house elves into handing you some snacks. While in the beginning, the elves hesitated, not sure whether they were allowed to or not, once they finally decided to help you out, they eagerly gathered some things together. When you finally left the kitchen again, you were loaded with tons of pumpkin pasties, chocolate frogs and sherbet lemons, as well as popcorn and crisps and -your personal favourite- many fruits, some of them dipped in chocolate. You highly doubted that you would be able to eat only half of the things the house elves had given you, but that was a problem for another day and you had no doubt that Blaise and Draco -who still held a grudge against you for not letting him join- would mind helping you out with the leftovers.
When you entered your dorm, Pansy had already prepared everything for the upcoming evening. She had dimmed the light, gathering all the pillows and blankets and had thrown them onto her bed, making it look even cosier than usual. When Pansy saw you struggle to open the door, since both of your hands were clenching onto the food, she was quick to join you and give you a helping hand, you accepted thankfully.
The evening launched easily, with the two of you playing some batches of wizarding chess, but after you had beaten Pansy for the third time in a row, the girl let herself fall back onto her bed and pulled a face.
“Rematch?”, you asked, with a smug grin on your face.
You knew very well how much Pansy hated to lose, even if this game was just for fun and even if it was against you.
“Nope.”, she plainly said, as she stared at the ceiling, ignoring you completely, while the grin on your face only widened.
“C´mon, I might even let you win.”, you teased as you nudged your friend playfully.
“As if I would be in need of you taking pity on me.”, Pansy snapped. “This game is just boring. I want to do something else.” Her voice sounded demanding.
You sighed.
“Alright, what you got in mind?"
When Pansy realized you had given in and didn’t insist on yet another batch, she sat up again and looked at you, with a now much more pleased look on her face.
“Watching a movie?”, she suggested.
You raised an eyebrow.
“You know muggle stuff doesn’t work in this school, don’t you?”, you asked.
This time it was on Pansy to grin superiorly.
“Only if you don’t know how to use it.”, she responded, pointing at the projector next to her bed, which you hadn’t noticed yet. “It´s enchanted.”, she added, as she noticed your sceptical glare.
“Where did you get this from?”, you asked, still slightly suspicious.
“That Gryffindor mudblood. Creevey. He gave it to me.”
You eyed Pansy from the side, now even more suspicious.
“He gave it to you?”
“I just said so, didn’t I?”
“Voluntarily?”
Pansy rolled her eyes.
“Yes (Y/n). Voluntarily. Believe it or not. But I had to pay a high price for this, so we better use it, so all of this wasn’t for nothing.”
Your suspiciousness turned into curiousness, now that Pansy had assured you that she -at least you hoped so- hadn’t tortured some students, even though they were just mudbloods, to get what she wanted. You brought your knees to your chest and rested your head on them as looked at the girl with narrowed eyes.
“Why did you even get this?”
“To watch a movie, obviously.”
“But you hate muggle movies.”
“And you love them. Salazar, (Y/n). I want to do you a favour just once and all you do is question it.”, Pansy responded, sounding slightly annoyed.
You chuckled and raised your hands in defence, as you tried to ignore the pleasant warmth that spread across your body when you thought of the fact that Pansy had done all of this for you.
“Okay, sorry. I won´t complain any longer.”
“You better won´t.”, she grumbled, but you could see the familiar playful sparkle shimmering in her eyes as she did so.
“So, what movie do you want to watch?”
Pansy shrugged her shoulders.
“I don’t know. You choose.”
She pulled out a stack of videos and handed them to you. You raised an eyebrow.
“You don´t have them from Creevy as well, do you?”
Pansy shook her head.
“How do you know?”
“Wouldn’t take him for someone who watches romantic comedies mainly.”
Your friend frowned.
“Romantic what?”
You sighed.
“Nevermind. Where did you get them from then?”
When Pansy didn’t answer, you looked up and you could see a slight rosy shimmer on her cheeks as she avoided your gaze. You sighed once more.
“Do I even want to know?”
Pansy shook her head firmly.
“I thought so.”, you grinned.
“Can you finally choose something? If you keep on just sitting there and staring at me, we will still sit here tomorrow.”
“Hey, don’t pressure me!”, you laughed. “I know that the audience has a very particular taste today.”
And Pansy couldn’t argue with that.
Your eyes were glued on the improvised screen you had built up on the other side of the room. After almost three hours, all hope of an actual happy end was gone as the girl finally let go of the boy to save herself. You had cuddled up in a blanket, the sweets by your side long forgotten, totally consumed by the events on the screen. But while the silence of the movie was almost unbearable, suddenly another sound caught your attention.
When you glanced to the side, you saw Pansy huddled together, the eyes were fixed on the screen as well, looking dangerously watery. She didn’t notice your glare, as she sniffed quietly and wiped away a tear that managed to escape her eye. You weren’t quite sure what to do. Pansy wasn’t one to show her emotions easily. It concerned you to see her like that but at the same time, you were amused by the fact that a “stupid muggle movie” made her that emotional. You had no doubt that Pansy would deny that she even cared about the events on the screen at all and would probably turn down any effort of yours trying to comfort her.
But when another sniff broke the silence, you decided that you didn’t care about the pride of your friend and shuffled a bit closer to her. Pansy didn’t even notice what you were doing until your arm slightly brushed against hers. The girl flinched as she turned around, looking at you with widened eyes.
“You´re okay?”, you asked in a low voice.
Pansy blinked a few times, before she took a deep breath and made a haughty face, even though her eyes were still glossy.
“Of course I am.”, she stated. “Why wouldn’t I be?”
She glared at you defiantly.
You shrugged your shoulders.
“Just wanted to make sure.”
Then you turned your attention back to the screen, where the girl was just pulled out of the water, finally getting saved. But you got distracted again soon enough when you suddenly felt something brushing against the back of your hand. You looked down and saw Pansy carefully placing her hand right next to yours. But when you looked up at the girl, her gaze was fixed on the screen again, paying no attention to you. So you did the same, turning your head again. Still, the feeling of Pansy´s hand so close to yours already made your heart beat faster.
You weren’t quite sure how you gathered the courage to do so, but instead of just ignoring the feeling, you slightly moved your hand yourself, bringing it even closer to Pansy´s. And when the both of you continued the game, pretending you didn’t even notice, in a matter of minutes, your hand lay in hers, fingers intertwined. By now, you couldn’t care less about the movie, and even if you would have wanted to, you didn’t catch a single thing that was happening. Your heart was beating in your chest so loud, you wondered if Pansy heard it. And if she didn’t, you had no doubt that she could feel the pulse in your fingertips, unnaturally fast. All you could focus on, all you could feel, was Pansy´s hand in yours, her arm against yours and suddenly also her head resting on your shoulder. You felt your breath flatten, as you breathed in the intoxicating smell of her shampoo and felt her hair tickling the soft skin under your chin. You had to fight the shiver, threatening to shake your body at the feeling of her closeness, but nevertheless, you felt the goosebumps creeping over your skin.
But just as you had found the most comfortable position and your pulse slowly started to normalise again, the movie was over and the screen went black. Still, you didn’t dare to move, remaining in your position as if you were frozen in your place.
It was Pansy who sat up straight again first, stretching her stiff limbs, as you just watched her in awe, as she squinted her eyes and let out a small sigh. Then she fell back onto the bed and returned your gaze.
“Staring is unpolite (Y/n).”, she giggled, as you just couldn’t tear your gaze apart from her.
You felt your face heating up as you quickly turned your head and cleared your throat.
“So how did you like it?”, you asked.
“The movie or…”
“The movie.”, you responded quickly before Pansy could even finish her sentence.
Pansy shrugged her shoulders.
“It was alright I guess.”
You looked at your friend with widened eyes.
“Alright? You want to tell me it was alright? This is a cinematic masterpiece!”
“Well, I´m sure it is. For muggles. But we should have some higher standards. It needs more than this to impress me.”
“That´s probably also the reason you teared up, isn’t it? Because you were absolutely unimpressed.”, you teased her.
“I didn’t tear up. I just had something in my eye.”
Her voice would have probably convinced anybody else, but you knew Pansy for way too long to let her fool you. And the way she avoided your gaze confirmed your suspicion. But you didn’t want to ruin the night by starting a discussion because you knew very well that even though you were right, you wouldn’t be able to win an argument against Pansy once she was determined to not let you do so.
So instead, you just let out a small sigh and sank back into the pillows, turning your head to look at her.
“Whatever you say.”
Only then Pansy looked at you, a sweet smile on her face that rewarded you for your decision to bite your tongue. You frowned. The girl had you wrapped around her finger and the worst thing was that she knew it herself.
Pansy let out a small yawn and you looked at your watch. It was already far after midnight.
“We should probably get to bed.”, you said, yawning yourself.
Pansy raised an eyebrow.
“We´re already in bed (Y/n).” You rolled your eyes and your friend let out a small chuckle before she added: “But if you want to, we can also go to sleep.”
“You´re so kind, Pansy. Thanks for giving me permission.”, you smiled sweetly, your voice oozing with sarcasm.
“That´s just the way I am.”, the girl responded, in a tone that sounded dead seriously.
You let out a small laugh.
“You think many people would agree on that?”
It wasn’t a secret that Pansy was anything but a kind person in general. She knew it herself and you knew that she couldn’t care less about what others thought about her. Either they liked her for the way she was or they didn’t. That wasn’t on her. And this was one of the things you loved her even more for.
Pansy grinned at you slyly.
“Why would I care about what others think about me?” She shuffled a bit closer to you and locked her eyes with yours. “As long as you think so, I really don’t care about anyone else.”
You felt your heartbeat quicken once more. And once more you wondered about the fact that Pansy almost playfully managed to shift your mind from joking around with a simple good friend, to not being able to focus on anything else, but on how close said friend was to you and how beautiful she looked as she glanced up to you through her long lashes.
“What are you thinking (Y/n)?”, she whispered, as she shifted closer to you once more.
I think about how much I love you. And how all I want to do right now is kiss you.
“I… I think that I still need to brush my teeth.”, you mumbled, making Pansy laugh.
“Not exactly what I hoped for, but go ahead.”
And when you stood in the bathroom minutes later, you couldn’t help but wonder, what would have been the answer Pansy had been hoping for.
You had finally cuddled up in the blankets, letting out a comfortable sigh. Pansy was lying only centimetres away from you. When you had been younger, you had shared your bed much more often, mostly when one of you had been scared because of a storm raging outside, or when one of you had been sad and the other one had tried to comfort her. However, this had happened rather rarely in the last few months, not only because neither of you was scared of thunders anymore, but also because you avoided being close to Pansy like that, not willing to confuse your mind even more than it already was.
But tonight, you couldn’t think of a single reason why you shouldn’t cuddle up right next to Pansy after she had begged you to do so. And who were you to deny her?
So now, you were laying beside her, as Pansy turned off the lights with a swish of her wand. It was pitch dark, but after a few moments, your eyes slowly got used to the dim light of the moon, shining through the windows of your dorm.
When you heard some rustling beside you, you turned to your side, now facing Pansy. The girl had done just the same, her face only centimetres away from yours. Her eyes were closed and her breath was slow and steady. You couldn’t help your eyes dart from every single detail of her face to the next. Her lips were slightly parted and her hair reflected the moonlight, making her look angelic. Pansy´s face looked relaxed, almost peaceful. Whenever she was awake, she was frowning oh so slightly or wrinkling her nose, even when she was smiling. You thought even then she was the most beautiful human being, but right now that her facial features had softened and she looked like there was nothing to worry about in that world, she looked just breathtaking. A single strand of hair was falling into her face. Carefully, you raised your hand, tucking it behind her ear. You let your fingertips caress the soft skin of her cheeks tenderly before you pulled back again.
“You´re so beautiful, you know that?”, you whispered into the silence.
When Pansy´s eyes fluttered open, you flinched, just thankful that in the dim light, she wouldn’t be able to see you blush. The girl blinked at you sleepily.
“Did you say something?”, she asked, her voice already slightly raspy from tiredness.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to wake you up.”
But Pansy just smiled at you lazily.
“No need to apologize.”
For the next couple of minutes, the two of you just lay there, eyes locked with one another. You had no doubt you could spend the rest of your life like that. It would never get boring to watch her. To observe the way her eyes sparkled, not only because of the moonlight shimmering in them but also because of that certain expression in her eyes that she always held, even now when there was no one there except for the two of you.
You didn’t know how much time had passed. Most likely it had been only a few minutes, but it had felt like an eternity. But then again, it still hadn’t been enough for you. You could have gone on like this forever. But suddenly, Pansy bit her lips, holding back a small smile. You wanted to ask her what was going on, but you were scared to break the silence between the two of you, which almost felt magical. So instead of speaking up, you only raised an eyebrow silently. It was Pansy who broke the spell.
“So, you´re gonna kiss me?”, she asked, as if it was the most casual thing to do.
But it wasn’t. Not to you. And that’s why you almost choked on the air, as you heard her saying this.
“I´m sorry, what?”, you wheezed out, trying to give your voice a normal sound but you knew that the attempt was doomed to failure.
Pansy just let out a small chuckle of amusement as she observed your reaction closely.
“You look at me like you want to kiss me. So will you?”
Your heart dropped. Had you really been that obvious?
“I…no! I didn’t look at you like I… I mean I didn’t mean to look at you like I… I would never… Not because I wouldn’t… well theoretically and objectively speaking. But you are you and I am me and we are friends and...”
“Calm down. I was just joking.”, Pansy finally took pity on your stuttering.
“You were… Merlin, Pansy. You can´t do that to me.”, you stated and let yourself fall back into the pillows with a heavy sigh.
Pansy rested her head on her arm and looked at you with narrowed eyes and a pleased grin on her face.
“Why not?”
“Why not? Because it´s weird and I don’t know how to react and I…I don’t know, it´s just weird.”
“I think it´s cute.”, Pansy stated, her gaze still fixed on you. “You´re always so adorable when it comes to this.”
“To this?”
“To this.”, Pansy confirmed, as she shuffled closer.
You gulped heavily even though your throat was dry.
“So, do you?”, Pansy spoke up again, after a few moments of silence.
“Do I what?”
“Do you want to kiss me?”
Yes. Of course, you wanted to. But how were you supposed to tell her? At least, without making a complete fool out of yourself?
“You know the answer.”, you mumbled.
“Do I?”
“You do.”
Silence.
“I wouldn’t mind, you know?”, Pansy spoke up again.
You sighed.
“You wouldn’t mind what?”
“If you would kiss me. I really wouldn’t mind (Y/n).”
Your gaze shot up and you glanced at Pansy, who was grinning at you with the playful sparkle in her eyes you adored so much. But right now, you just wished she would close her eyes and go back to sleep. You wished you had never woken her up. Wished, you had never agreed to that sleepover in the first place. Because little did Pansy know how much you wanted these words to be actually true. You wanted to kiss her, wanted her to not only not mind that you did so but wanted her to want it too. But you also knew that these were just empty words after all and Pansy most likely didn’t have any intention to actually kiss you. At least not for the same reason you wanted to kiss her.
When Pansy looked at you questioningly, you sighed.
“You need to stop doing this.”, you said in a low voice.
Pansy frowned.
“Doing what?”
“This… flirting thing.”
“Flirting thing?”, Pansy echoed, and you could hear the amusement in her voice.
“Yes, Pansy. All those glances and these comments. That needs to stop.”
When she heard how serious your voice sounded, the girl´s smile dropped.
But why? I thought…”
“No. I don’t think you thought about that at all. Do you have any idea how confusing this is?”, you contradicted vehemently. “I mean, we´re friends, but then you´re doing these things and it makes me think that you might want more. But just when I think I´ve finally figured it out, you´re doing this with everyone else as well. All of this is just so… irritating. I have absolutely no idea what you want. What you want from me. And what you want us to be. You have no idea how frustrating this is. I just… I need you to be clear for once or else all of this is driving me mad.”
The moment you finished your speech, you felt a wave of guilt flushing over you. You hadn’t meant to raise your voice like that, hadn’t meant to be so harsh. But maybe it was for the better like this. Maybe Pansy would finally be clear once and for all. Even though you feared her answer just as much as you wanted it.
Pansy looked at you with widened eyes, her mouth slightly agape. Outbursts like these were quite unusual for you, especially in situations like this. Normally you just swallowed it down, but at this point, you finally had snapped. But as you saw the look on Pansy´s face, you remembered why you normally didn’t. It just felt horrible seeing her like that, especially if you knew that you were the reason for it.
“I´m sorry, I didn’t mean to…”
But your apology was ended abruptly as some soft lips crushed on yours without a warning. You froze; completely flabbergasted. After a few seconds, Pansy pulled away again. She smiled at you, but it looked different than any smile you had ever seen on her face. It looked restrainedly, almost shy.
“I love you (Y/n).”, Pansy said, the small smile still playing around her lips. “Is that clear enough?”
But instead of answering her, you leant forwards and pulled Pansy in yet another kiss. Unlike you, it took Pansy no time to return the kiss; her lips moving against yours so effortlessly as if you had done so a thousand times before. You cupped her cheeks in your hands, pulling her only closer as you deepened the kiss.
When you pulled back, the both of you were panting heavily. Pansy looked at you in awe and you returned her look just the same. Your thumb brushed over her swollen lips tenderly, as she rested her forehead against yours.
“So, I take that as a yes?”, she whispered against your lips, making you grin.
“It is. I don’t feel like you could have been any clearer.”
“You know I can be very convincing.”, Pansy chuckled.
“There´s no need to convince me anymore. You already have.”, you responded.
“Are you sure of that? It might take another kiss. You know, just to make sure.”
And this time, the kiss was much more tender, as you took your time, knowing you would have all the time in the world to discover every single facet of this newfound side of your relationship.
When you pulled back again, you smiled at Pansy sheepishly, who returned your gaze just the same.
“I love you too.”, you said, your hands by now tangled in her hair, while hers rested on your neck.
Pansy raised an eyebrow teasingly.
“Don’t you say.”
When you were lying in bed later that night, cuddled together and almost drifting off into sleep, Pansy spoke up once more.
“You know you´re the only one I ever laid my eyes on, don’t you? I never flirted with anyone else. Not the way I did with you.”
You hummed in response.
“I just never have been sure if you were like that because that´s just what you are like or because you wanted me too.”
Pansy chuckled.
“And I always thought I was too obvious. Especially after Blaise told me he knew what was going on. But you just seemed to be oblivious to anything I did. And I wasn’t quite sure if you actually didn’t notice or just decided to ignore me because you didn’t want us to be more than this. Well, not this, but what we used to be. Before tonight.”
You smiled as well.
“I always thought the same, you know? I always thought I would be so obvious. I mean, any time you made a comment I made a complete fool out of myself. Not to mention my face always gave it away anyways. I felt like I looked like a tomato whenever you were near.”
Pansy laughed quietly before she pecked your lips.
“But you´re the cutest tomato I´ve ever seen.”
“Oh, just shut up.”, you grumbled, feeling your face heating up again already.
“You better got some powerful arguments if you want me to.”, the girl responded.
And when you sat up slightly before bending down again, your lips on Pansy´s, the two of you knew that it wouldn’t need any further persuasion than this.

SECRET KISSES | PANSY PÁRKINSON
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
ღ Sighs gasps, and soft moans could be heard from one of the stalls in the girls' bathroom. Y/n had Pansy against one of the walls while she left kisses and licks on the exposed skin of her pale neck, her right hand was lost between the girl's legs, deliciously playing with her needed button.
"Fuck, Y/n," Pansy moaned, throwing her head back
Her legs were spread and her panties were pushed to one side, giving her full access to her girl. Y/n's fingers were doing wonders in her pussy, one playing with her clit while two others moved in and out of her wet hole.
Y/n smiled when she saw her so desperate. "Is this what you needed? You just had to talk love, there was no need to act like a brat all-day”
Hearing her, Pansy whined, although she had been upset all morning by the little attention she had received from the girl, she would never admit it in front of her. They were not girlfriends and no one had any idea what was happening between them, but even so, there was no lack of scenes of jealousy.
Y/n sped up her movements and Pansy let the moans fall freely from her mouth.
“That's it doll, let everyone hear you, that's what you want right? Let everyone know that you are mine”
“Fuck, yes! Don't stop, please don't stop”
Y/n brought their lips together to try and keep her quiet, while she continued fucking her with her fingers. Pansy started to move her hips trying to match her movements and create more friction for herself.
“You close, doll? You're gonna come on my fingers like a needy slut?”
The dirty talk did it for her because right after Y/n finished her sentence the black-haired girl arched her back and gripped tightly Y/n’s body against her. Her legs were shaky and her body felt limp, she was fucking fucked out.
Leaving one last kiss on her lips, Y/n pulled out her fingers from her pussy and brought them close to her mouth.
“Clean them up, love,” she said softly, watching her immediately obey
Once she was finished, Y/n fixed her panties and skirt, trying to make her look presentable before they went out of the bathroom.
“Are you coming tonight?” Pansy asked in almost a whisper
She smiled and caressed her cheek “I will, but we're just sleeping tonight, I have to get up early tomorrow”
The black-haired girl smiled mischievously “Whatever you want, sweets”
Both of them laughed, knowing how much of a lie their conversation was. They weren't gonna sleep at all.

Mine now (Pansy Parkinson x reader)
Warnings: smut, public teasing & dirty talk, oral female giving/receiving, rimming
Summary: y/n is obsessed with Pansy which intrigues Pansy so she invites y/n to a party in hopes to get to know each other.
Tumblr media
You’d zoned out and completely shifted your attention to Pansy who was sitting across the room. Every chance you’d see Pansy you’d always be mesmerised by her. Her radiant confidence and beauty is what attracts you and everyone else to her.
You’d never spoken a word to her and you’re not sure she knows your name.
Pansy turns her head to look over at you and catches you before you could look away but she gives you a quick glance before looking away. You’re sure she knows something is up by the way you’re always looking at her.
After class you meet up with some of your friends you see Pansy walking past with her Slytherin friends. A few of your friends groan when they notice her “She thinks she’s better than everyone” you stay out of the conversation.
Everywhere she walks, people move out of the way for her, most people including you are intimidated.
At lunch you sit at the Ravenclaw table waiting for your friends to arrive when someone sits beside you. You look over to see Daphne Greengrass, Pansy’s friend. You can’t lie you started to panic, did Pansy send her here to tell you to back off?
“There’s going to be a Slytherin party tomorrow night, it’s invite only and you have to have the password to get in so no friends are allowed just you.” Daphne continues to tell you the password and not to mention it to anyone. She gets up and walks away.
You were quite confused, you weren’t friends with any Slytherins which is why it doesn’t make sense you would be invited unless she mistakenly confused you for someone else.
You got ready for the party and lied to your dorm mates and said you were going on a date and not to wait up for you. You assumed Pansy would be there so you dressed up a bit and put on some makeup.
You made your way to the Slytherin common rooms and gave the password. The common room was filled with people everywhere. You walk over to grab a drink and spot Pansy in a circle of friends. You make eye contact and she looks away again.
You skull your drink and pour another one, you didn’t know anyone here well enough to hang out with so you just tried to enjoy yourself. You’d kept your eye on Pansy and finally she was alone. You felt enough confidence partly because the alcohol helped numb your anxiety.
“Hey” you say “Hi” she replies “I’ve wanted to talk to you for months but I can never seem to find you alone” “what do you want?” She asks bluntly.
You take a deep breath in “do you want to dance?” “With you?” “Yes” “then yes.” You take her hand and drag her to where everyone is dancing. You hold onto her hips as she grinds on you.
Her bum moves against your pussy and you feel yourself getting wetter as she grinds on you. Your hands don’t leave her hips until she turns to face you pressing a kiss to your jaw. She slips her hand under your skirt and rubs you over your underwear. You had to keep quiet because it was still crowded and anyone could look over.
“Fuck I can feel how wet you are” she whispers in your ear breathing heavily. Her hand quickly slips into your underwear as she rubs up and down making your legs quiver. You hold onto her tightly as you start whimpering and moaning trying to keep quiet “that’s it, tell me how bad you want me” “so much, I want your mouth and your fingers and your pussy, I want all of you.”
Pansy stops rubbing your pussy and you sneak away from the party to her dorm. She starts stripping as she gets inside and helps you out until you’re both completely naked. She lays you on the bed and starts to kiss you, if felt like a dream, her naked body pressed against yours as you kiss.
“I’ve always dreamt about this” you mumble between kisses “I’m about to make all your dreams come true.”
She pulls away and makes her way between your thighs, she presses soft kisses that turn into more passionate and hungry kisses. Her lips kiss up to your pussy and she begins to eat you out. Her tongue laps up your cunt as she tastes you. “Fuck so good.” you moan.
Pansy positions her pussy on your face as you eat her out she can give the same pleasure. Each lick of her clit, she lets out a small moan against your clit.
Her tongue moves from your pussy to your ass where she places a small kiss and her tongue teases your entrance. Her tongue swirls around rimming your hole. “So pretty” she mutters.
Both of your mouths consistently work at each other until you’re both so close. “Make me cum” Pansy demands.
You both moan against each other’s pussys as you finish. Pansy lays beside you pressing a kiss to your mouth.
“You’re mine now, I don’t do casual I do exclusive relationships” she says looking lovingly into your eyes “perfect because I don’t want anything less than that” you reciprocate the kiss to her lips.

I stayed quiet the rest of the walk to our next class. I couldn’t stop thinking about Harry’s future, and about what Theo told me. I looked up to see Pansy laughing at something Draco said and he looked proud. I quietly sighed and looked back down at my books. I gently shook my head and tried my best to get excited about our next clas since I loved Magical Creatures and Hagrid was sure to be good at teaching us. We were walking down the hill to Hagrid’s hut and I smiled slightly. All the students were gathered around his home and you could hear them chatting from half-way up the hill.
“That’s it. Come on, now. Come closer. Less talking, if you don’t mind.” Hagrid said and the students shushed eachother.
“I’ve got a real treat for you today. A great lesson. So follow me.” He said and I heard Draco scoff and looked up to see him rolling his eyes. Hagrid led us into the forest and the students were all talking the whole way. I was quiet and my friends didn’t see to notice.
“Right, you lot. Less chattering.” Hagrid said as he turned to face us.
“Form a group over there.” He said pointing to a tree that was near a broken stone wall.
“And open your books to page 49.” He added before he walked away.
“Exactly how do we do that?” Draco asked with an attitude.
“Well, just stroke the spine, of course. Goodness me.” Hagrid said before walking off. Draco did as he said and gave Hagrid retreating figure an unconvinced expression. I rolled my eyes slightly and followed the rest of the students along the wall. We all opened our books but poor Neville got ttacked by his. Some students laughed as they passed him.
“I think they’re funny.” Hermione said to Harry.
“Oh yeah, terribly funny! Really witty!” Draco teased. Hermione turned to him with an annoyed look on her face.
“God, this place has gone to the dogs! Wait until my Father hears tht Dumbledore’s got this oaf teaching classes!” Draco scoffed. Vincent and Gregory both laughed and Pansy was smirking. I rolled my eyes, but kept my mouth shut.
“Shut up, Malfoy.” Harry said as he walked towards Draco. My eyes widened slightly as the boys oooed teasingly at my half-brother. Draco handed Vincent his bag and dropped it without waiting for him to take it. He sauntered up to Harry with a smirk on his face. He took a step back and looked up behind Harry. I looked at him confused as he kept backing up.
“D-Dementor! Dementor!” He pointed into the air and some students gasped. Harry turned around quickly and I froze up. I felt my breathing quicken and my chest begin to get tight. Draco laughed with everyone and they all put on their robe hoods.
“Oooo.” They all did while wiggling their fingers. Hermione grabbed Harry and rolled her eyes at them. Blaise gently nudged me and I looked up at him. He looked down at me worridly and I forced a smile. Luckily Hagrid came back and cleared his throat to get everyone’s attention.
“Da-da-da-da!” He hummed and I looked at the creature with wide eyes and a smile.
“Isn’t he beautiful?” Hagrid asked and tossed him a ferret
“Say hello to Buckbek.” He said as the creature ate his treat.
“Hagrid, exactly what is that?” Ron asked.
“That, Ron, is a Hippogriff. First thing you want to know about Hippogriffs is that they’re very proud creatures. Very easily offended. You do not want to insult a hippogriff. It may just be the last thing you ever do.” He stressed.
“Now…” He clapped.
“Who’d like to come and say hello?” He asked and turend around. Everyone stepped back in fear except for Harry, I was pulled back by Blaise.
“Well done, Harry. Well done.” Hagrid said as he turned back around. Harry looked back confused and hesitantly took a step forward.
“Come on now.” Hagrid said and Ron pushed him.
“Why’d you pull me back?” I frowned at Blaise.
“Because I’m not letting you go near that thing with the state you’re in.” He said and I huffed.
“I’m fine…” I mumbled.
“Sure you are.” He said.
“You have to let him make the first move. It’s only polite.” Hagrid said.
“So, you step up, give him a nice bow, then you wiat and see if he bows back. And if he does, you can go and touch him. And if not… well, we’ll get to that later.” Hagrid explained the rules.
“Now, just make your bow. Nice and low.” He instructed Harry. The Hippogriff started squawking and flapping it’s wings.
“Back off, Harry! Back off!” Hagrid said quickly. Harry started backing up and he snapped a twig which made some students jump.
“Keep still.” Hagrid said. Harry lifted his head to look at the creature.
“Keep still.” Hagrid said again. The Hippogriff bowed back and Hagrid chuckled.
“Well done, Harry. Well done.” He said and tossed Buckbeak another ferret.
“Eh, ya big brute, you.” He said to the creature. Harry stopped up and you could see he was breathing heavily.
“Right, now I think you can go and pat him now.” Hagrid said and Harry’s head snapped to him.
“Go on. Don’t be shy.” Hagrid said and Harry slowly made his way to the Hippogriff. Draco and the boys shoved some students out of the way. Pansy was of course right behind him. Blaise wrapped an arm around my shoulder and pulled me a bit closer to him.
“Forget about them.” He whispered and I sighed.
“Nice and slow now. Nice and slow. Not so fast, Harry.” Hagrid said as Harry lifted his arm to reach for Buckbeak. The Hippogriff squawked at him and stomped his hoof. I gasped and gripped onto Blaise’s arm. I notice Hermione do the same to Ron. Draco looked back at us and glared, but I paid no mind to him. I couldn’t stop thinking about Harry’s bloody tea leaves… Harry slowed down and stopped out of fear.
“Now let him come to you.” Hagrid said. Buckbeak sniffed Harry, but let him touched him.
“Well done!” Hagrid said as he started clapping. The other students joined in and I smiled at Harry.
“Isn’t it going to fly?” Draco asked Gregory.
“I think he may let you ride him now.” Hagrid said as he walked over to Harry.
“What!?” Harry asked, clearly worried.
“Come on.” Hagrid said as he lifted Harry.
“Hey! Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey! Ha-Hagrid!” Harry said, freaking out a bit.
“Just behind the wing joint.” Hagrid said as he placed Harry on the Hippogriff. Buckbeak squawked as Harry was placed down.
“Don’t pull out any of his fethers, cause he won’t thank you for that.” Hagrid said as he walked to the other side. He smacked Buckbeak on the but and he reared up. He started running in our direction and then flew off into the air. We all watched in awe as Harry flew around us. He flew off to somewhere we couldn’t see, but he soon came back to land.
“Well done, Harry! And well done, Buckbeak!” Hagrid said.
“That was wicked, Harry!” Someone cheered.
“Oh, please!” Draco said, getting up from his spot on the tree root. He pushed his way through some students and stormed over towards Buckbeak.
“Yes, you’re not dangerous at all, are you, you great ugly brute?” Draco said and my eyes widened. My breath was caught in my throat and Blaise held me back.
“Malfoy! No!” Hagrid said. Buckbeak got up on his hind legs and Draco looked up at him. Students started screaming and running off. Buckbeak slashed at Draco and luckily he covered his face with his right arm. He yelled out in pain and I struggled in Blaise’s arms.
“Buckbeak!” Hagrid scolded and got in-between him and Draco.
“Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Buckbeak!” He shouted at the creature. He pulled off a ferret and tossed it away from Draco.
“Away you silly creature.” He said.
“Oh, it’s killed me! It’s killed me!” Draco said, being dramatic as always.
“Calm down! It’s-It’s just a scratch!” Hagrid said, freaking out a bit.
“Hagrid! He has to be taken to the hospital.” Hermione shouted, trying to get him to get control.
“I’m the teacher. I’ll do it.” Hagrid said and lifted Draco up. Draco dramatically whimpered in his arms.
“Oh, you’re gonna regret this.” Draco said.
“Class dismissed.” Hagrid shouted.
“You and your bloody chicken!” Draco added.
“I’ll come too! Draco will-”
“Y/N will go with you, Professor.” Blaise said, cutting off Pansy. He let go of me and grabbed onto her. I looked at him shocked and he gently pushed me forward.
“Yes, well, come on now.” Hagrid said, clearly worried. I quickly gathered my things and followed Hagrid to the hospital wing.
“Oh it hurts so much!” Draco whined. Hagrid looked at me with pleading eyes and I nodded.
“It’ll be alright, Dray.” I said and gently grabbed onto his hand. He looked at me and I gave him a smile. He gripped my hand a bit tighter and hardly whimpered the rest of the way there. Hagrid explained to Madam Pomfrey what happened and she sighed. Draco was placed on the bed and as soon as his hand left mine he was whimpering again. Madam Pomfrey looked at me and I nodded. I sat at Draco’s side and held his hand. My heart swelled with the contact and I did my best to suppress my blush. We’ve done this millions of times, but now that I know how I feel about him everything feels different. Draco gripped my hand tightly as Madam Pomfey cared for his wound. His Father had walked in at one point and demanded to know what happened. Once Draco told him, he looked angry.
“I’ll take care of it.” Lucius said. Draco nodded and Lucius spared one last look at us before storming out of the room. Once Madam Pompfey  was finished she wrapped up his arm and he was free to go. Draco and I returned to classes.
Later that day, Draco and I were walking alone together. Our friends were already in the Great Hall. Draco held my hand as walked.
“I never thanked you for coming with me yesterday, love.” He said with a smile.
“Oh, of cours, Dray.” I said and he squeezed my hand a bit.
“It was bearable with you there.” He said and I giggled slightly.
“I think you’re just being dramatic.” I said and he rolled his eyes, but still smiled.
“Never.” He said and it was my turn to roll my eyes. Right as we walked into the Great Hall Draco let go of my hand and started walking towards our friends. I watched him sit right next to Pansy and her eyes lit up. I sighed and decided to go sit with Hermione, Harry, and Ron.
“May I sit here?” I asked and they smiled.
“Of course, Y/N.” Harry said. I took a seat next to Ron and got my books out. I was ready to do some homework and get my mind off everything.
“Does it hurt terribly, Draco?” Pansy asked, making the four of us look over at them.
“It comes and it goes. Still, I consider myself lucky. According to Madam Pomfrey, another minute or two, and I, uh, could’ve lost my arm. I couldn’t possibly do any homework for weeks.” He lied and I rolled my eyes.
“Listen to the idiot. He’s really laying it on thick, isn’t he?” Ron said and I sighed.
“Yeah, but at least Hagrid didn’t get fired.” Harry said.
“Yeah, but I heard Draco’s Father’s furious. We haven’t heard the end of this.” Hermione said.
“I can try my best to damage control.” I suggested and they smiled.
“He’s been sighted! He’s been sighted!” Seamus shouted into the quiet hall. He came over to our table and slammed a news paper onto the table.
“Who?” Ron asked.
“Sirius Black!” Seamus answered. We slid closer to look at the paper.
“Dufftown!? That’s not far from here.” Hermione read.
“Y-You don’t think he’d come to Hogwarts, do you?” Neville asked.
“With dementors at every entrance?” Someone asked.
“Dementors! He’s already slipped past them once, hasn’t he? Who’s to say he won’t do it again?” Seamus said.
“That’s right. Black could be anywhere. It’s like trying to catch smoke. Like trying to catch smoke with your bare hands.” Another student said and I saw Harry’s face looking worried.
“Perhaps we should just get back to studying.” I suggested and slid back over to my books. The other student scattered back to their books and I could tell Harry was distracted the rest of the class. I looked back and saw that Draco didn’t even notice I wasn’t with them. I sighed and looked back to see the three friends looked at me with worried expressions.
“Are you alright?” Hermione asked and I shrugged.
“I’m fine.” I said and looked back down.
“You don’t need them anyway.” Harry said and I just nodded, not interested in talking about it anymore. I heard Hermione smack Harry and glanced up.
“Maybe you should talk about it, you might feel better.” Ron suggested.
“I don’t want them over-hearing…” I whispered. They looked over and Harry scoffed.
“I think Malfoy and Parkinson are too distracted with each other.” He said and I sighed.
“Yeah… that’s the problem…” I mumbled.
“I’m sorry, Y/N…” Hermione said and I shrugged.
“I hope he’s happy with her…” I whispered and just looked down at my books.
*3rd Person POV*
Y/N and the golden trio didn’t know that Blaise, Crabbe, and Goyle were all listening to their conversation. The three friends looked at Draco and Pansy with a glare. Y/N had hardly been spending time with them anymore and they all knew it was because of them. They knew something was wrong the second Y/N didn’t show up to sit with them on the train. Everyone though she was just spending time with Cedric, but Blaise knew where you probably were. He was proven right when she came to sit with them and told them about the attack that she was also involved in. The three friends looked at each other and silently agreed that they would make it their mission to get you back.

Hufflepuffs are absolute losers. They're not smart, nor brave, they're gullible and too kind for their own good.
All houses at Hogwarts saw Hufflepuff this way. Ravenclaws despised you for being 'average', Gryffindor didn't like your lack of courage and Slytherin hated everyone anyway.
Despite that, you still loved being a Hufflepuff — thanks to your friends, the sunlit common room, and, surprisingly, Pansy Parkinson.
What you had with the sassy Slytherin girl was nothing short of a forbidden romance. Okay, maybe not romance, as much as you wished for it. Your relationship was closer to friendship, really, if Pansy even considered you a friend. But she was nice to you — and you valued it more than anything.
It's just that Pansy was amazing. She could be quite vicious (you experienced it first-hand before), but once you got to know her she was a good soul. She was funny, smart, and so, so passive-aggressive.
"I know I'm breathtaking," she mused, "but you don't have to look at me like a fish out of water." Eyebrow arched, her eyes were tracing your flustered face. It hadn't occurred to you that you were staring.
Quickly turning away to hide the heat of your cheeks, you mumbled, "I had to choose between a corpse and a princess. My choice was quickly made."
Pansy snorted. Indeed, the 'corpse' alluded to was none other than Professor Binns. Though he was a ghost, he looked like he could re-die at any given moment. He was also really boring, and didn't hear very well — so talking in class was prohibited, but never enforced. And with Pansy next to you, it was impossible to focus.
"Oh, so I'm a princess?" She winked. "I'm more of a queen, I think."
You rolled your eyes, struggling to hide your growing smile. "You'd be a horrible queen, Pansy — admit it."
She feigned being very offended and spoke in a very posh accent which never failed to make you giggle. "How dare you, peasant! My reign is the most successful of all!"
You laughed. Sitting next to Pansy was always so fun. It reminded you of how, this year, you'd done your very best to pick the seat beside her in almost every class. You had to pretend to be half blind, missing most empty desks, and even 'accidentally' not following the seat plan (like in History of Magic). Then, wow, what a coincidence! Pansy's your seatmate again.
"I think people are so scared of you that they don't dare say anything," you said, smug. It was true, after all; most knew not to end up on her bad side.
Pansy shook her head, clicking her tongue in the process. "Except for you," she breathed out, and flicked your forehead. That was also true; people really didn't give enough credit to Hufflepuffs for their loyalty. You could kill if someone ever spoke badly of your friends.
And that was exactly what she'd done, a year ago. Though the story wasn't very joyful, you enjoyed recalling it every few weeks — because it was the beginning of your desperate crush on Pansy Parkinson.
"You're not scary," you whispered, "You're nice." You often said such things to her, partly because you really meant it, partly because you wished she'd get the hint. However, she never had.
Pansy waved you off, ruffling your hair. You loved it when she did that; feeling her warm skin gently caress yours, how her long fingers would glide down your neck and down your arm. Oh, how many times you wished to grab her hand — how many times you couldn't, watching her slide away without the hint of disappointment on her pretty face.
She does it as a friend, you told yourself. She just likes physical contact. Pansy wants nothing to do with me. And you tried so hard to believe it, that you became blind to how she only touched you, and how her hand lingered longer than necessary, and how her eyes dimmed when you looked away and remained silent.
But Pansy Parkinson was hard to read and could never admit to liking a Hufflepuff — despite liking you a lot. Perhaps even more than she realised.
Suddenly, she broke into a smirk. "But you were at the beginning, right? Scared of me."
You knew exactly what she meant. What she called 'at the beginning' was the very first day of school, in your third year. You shared Potions with Pansy, and because Snape was an asshole he'd found the idea of seating you, a poor Hufflepuff, at a table full of Slytherins very amusing.
Pansy was the one next to you, and you remembered how much it felt like hell to work with her. She was always making comments, mean remarks about your potion-making skills, and, worst of all, criticising your friends.
It was when, in the third month of being her potion partner, she sneered about Susan Bones — who you hold in high esteem — that you snapped. In an un-pretty way, you told her off, and so hard that she was left speechless. One of your proudest moments, honestly.
But never once had you been afraid of her.
"I wasn't," you said. After pretty much scolding Pansy in front of her friends, one would think that you'd be the worst enemies. Yet, you weren't; in fact, she began to see you in a different light, and so did you once she wasn't so unlikeable.
That was essentially how it all began, your friendship with Pansy and also your secret crush on her. All because you'd never been afraid. Take that, Gryffindors, you thought. Now you just needed the courage to confess.
... Yeah, maybe next time.
Pansy exhaled sharply, almost chuckling. Professor Binns looked your way, his dull eyes making sure all was quiet. You pretended to be listening and resumed the conversation once he turned away.
"I think Binns is going to give us homework," you said, "Judging by his expression."
Pansy snorted. "How can you even judge his expression? He looks like a shitting dog."
"No, he doesn't," you argued, "I'd say he's more of a fossil, really."
Again, her beautiful, beautiful laugh that sent violent shivers down your spine and many butterflies in your stomach. She was gorgeous — and you couldn't have her! What a painful life did you live.
She said, with a smirk, "I guess you're right. Oh, sorry, you always are, darling."
You froze. Or rather, your heart did — in the span of three seconds, you simultaneously flat-lined and ran a marathon. The blood built up in your face and you were at a loss of words.
She corrected herself as an inside joke which normally, you would just make a very strange face to (which she loved, which is partly why you did it so much), but at that moment you simply couldn't.
Darling. Pansy called you darling. She'd never called you that before! It was both the worst and best day of your life.
Best because that word never sounded more heavenly than from her lips, worst because it meant nothing. Right?
She seemed completely oblivious to it, however, looking at you as if you'd grown a third leg. "Is... something wrong?"
You could only whimper weakly. "N-no..." Pansy narrowed her eyes, clearly not believing you. Of course something's wrong, you wanted to scream, I'm in love with you! But you could never say that. So instead, slowly pursing your lips, you admitted in a whisper: "You called me... darling..." And you laughed nervously.
Pansy blinked. "Yeah, I did. Do you not like it?"
"No, no, I do." And you paused, turning bright red. "I mean— I don't mind it. Yeah. Haha."
She grinned, then bit her lip (which only contributed further to making you flustered). Under the dull, natural sunlight streaking in through the only classroom window, she looked as ethereal as ever. Suddenly you were overtaken by a strong need to kiss her, right then and there.
You wished she could feel the same way: undeniably attracted, despite the many differences between you. Pansy was upfront and bold, and also funny and unapologetic, while you were more mellow, going with the flow, "really calming, like camomile tea" as she'd once described.
And she was the fire that made you possible while you were the water that kept her sane. So why, why couldn't she like you back? It was torture, every day, to refrain from crashing the class and pressing your lips onto hers.
It's alright, it's more than enough to be her friend, you tried telling yourself. It's more than enough to have the opportunity to talk to— oh Merlin she called me darling!
A new emotion was making its way down your body: thrill. Because decidedly, darling sounded heavenly when she said it — to you.
Pansy tucked a strand of your hair away and your heart leapt out of your chest at that moment. There was a strange look in her eyes, something akin to nervousness or perhaps determination. It was the first time she gazed at you with such intensity.
After a few seconds of dreadful silence, she took a breath, having seemingly chosen the path she was going to take. Pansy looked around — you were at the very back of the class, and everyone was asleep or at least, very drowsy — and suddenly grabbed your hand.
More butterflies.
She spoke quickly, murmuring what she wanted to say before anyone could stop her. "I can call you darling forever if you say yes."
You couldn't think any more. Like the students whose brain capacity went to a minimum during History of Magic, yours was unable to process what Pansy was saying. Yet, simultaneously, you also understood exactly what she meant, but on a more subconscious level, surely, as you heard yourself utter: "Yes."
And now would be the time where regret would wash over you, and you'd wallow in worry and remorse for being too impulsive. It had been like that for past relationships — but not with her.
All you could sense was a warm feeling in your heart, like a gust of wind that comes to vigor up your insides, but soft enough to glide gently across your skin. This felt right, more right than you'd ever expected, and the hand squeeze Pansy gave you afterwards only proved that you were correct.
Because you always were, after all.
The slight anticipation — because you were sure it was anticipation, now — in her eyes had given way to a mischievous look that you knew all too well. Again, you really wanted to kiss her.
She checked her watch, and a smirk rose on her face. "Five minutes before the end, darling," she murmured, and your heart skipped a beat. "What do we have after that?"
"Potions," you answered.
She nodded, pensive. "And we don't share Potions... You know what, then? Give me a kiss."
You looked at her in disbelief. How much you dreamt of that — but here? "What? Now? But we're in class—"
She pressed a finger against your lips, effectively cutting you off. The smile on her face told you she wouldn't give up, and maybe a part of you didn't want her to. It was crazy, but Pansy was crazy and that was why you liked her so much.
To make good tea you need fire, your mother loved to say. And you wanted to believe it was true.
Pansy tapped her nails against the table, her grin not fading one bit. "We'll be discreet. Come on, darling," she whispered, "Kiss me bye."
So you did.

Y/N's POV
"Hey you're back already?" Enzo said while giving me a hand to carry my trunk.
We entered the main door of the castle, where I feel the familiar environment where chaos is rising. I closed my eyes and exhaled to compose myself for the tough days we'll be experiencing.
I opened my eyes and reminiscence my suspension that was eventful than I thought. I glanced at Enzo who gave me a smile and side hugged me. I relaxed at his touch and leaned my head in his shoulder while I examine the castle a little.
"Yes, couldn't keep you waiting" I said and chuckled softly. He just nudged me by the shoulder and we started walking inside the castle. After we've pass different hallways we had now arrived at the dungeon.

heyy! how are you? Could you write a story in which reader and there close friends get into a serious argument which ruins there relationship and there close friend reveals that reader has a crush on Draco and reader somehow runs into Draco and then cries into his arms as he comforts her. This happened to me (the first part not the second part, my crush sided with my friend) and I feel like it'd help me cope xx make any changes as suitable!
Sorry if this is too long to read and if you have a similar request then ignore this xx
Love your writing btw xx
First of all I want to say that I am really sorry that this happened to you and I hope that by now everything turned out somewhat good again. Much, much love and strength to you and I really hope I got everything right and that you will like this fic!
I really suck at making up fights out of nowhere, so this kinda felt like I forced it to escalate but I hope that it all still makes sense and you enjoy reading (even though I´ve done some characters really dirty in this fic).
False friends and true love
You stared into the fire crackling inside the fireplace of your common room. You felt your eyes getting heavy as you watched the flames dancing, and the chattering of your friends lulled you in. You sighed comfortably as you snuggled up even more into the cosy blanket covering you, your eyes lazily drifting from the fireplace to your friends who had spread on the couches and armchairs next to you, talking about the latest Quidditch matches, homework and the upcoming exams.
You barely even noticed how you became dizzier and dizzier, slowly drifting off into sleep, until suddenly, your head fell to the side, hitting something hard, making you jolt up again, looking around in confusion.
“Easy there, (Y/n).”, you heard a voice chuckling next to you.
You turned your head and blinked at Draco in confusion, who grinned at you with a smug look on his face.
“Sorry, almost fell asleep.”, you mumbled, your face heating up immediately as you realized that your head had fallen, out of all the possibilities, on Draco´s shoulder.
“Nothing to be sorry about.”, your friend answered, the smile on his face only growing wider. “I´m glad to serve as your pillow. Even though I consider myself quite disappointed that apparently, our company isn´t entertaining enough to keep you awake.”
His snarky remark made you return his smile immediately.
“If you want to put it this way. But you could also argue that it is so soothing that I even feel safe enough to fall asleep.”
“I think I like this version much better, love.”, Draco chuckled.
“But regardless of your comforting company, I think I still prefer my own bed. So have a good night.”
You wanted to stand up, but Draco held you back.
“Are you sure you already want to leave, (Y/n)? You know, I wouldn’t mind functioning as your sleeping place once more.”
You let out a small laugh.
“I bet you don´t. But I feel like my neck wouldn’t benefit from this.”
“Well, if you should change your mind, you know where to find me.”, Draco winked, making the blush return to your face.
“Whatever.”, you huffed, quickly turning away from your friend, hoping he wouldn’t notice your flustered state. “Goodnight y´all.”
“I´ll join you.”, Pansy stated and quickly got up as well. But the mischievous look in her eyes already told you that she wasn’t doing so because she was tired.
And you were right. As soon as the door of the dorm you shared with your friend closed behind you, Pansy crossed her arms in front of her chest and stared at you with narrowed eyes.
At first, you seriously considered ignoring your friend, but soon enough you realized that this strategy wouldn’t get you anywhere. You knew Pansy was rather determined and once she had something on her mind, she wouldn’t rest until she had gotten what she wanted.
You sighed as you let yourself fall onto the bed, looking at Pansy, while tilting your head.
“Alright, what is it?”
You already had a faint suspicion, still, you weren’t willing to give in that easily.
“Are you for real? Isn´t it obvious?”
“Obviously not, so would you care to enlighten me?”
Pansy walked up to you and dropped onto your bed right next to you. With the slyest grin, she looked at you.
“Draco and you?”
“Draco and me what?”, you asked, trying to act the innocent, even though you knew you failed spectacularly.
“Merlin, (Y/n). You could have cut the tension with a knife back in there. For a second, I thought that boy would just take you to his dorm immediately.”
“Pansy!”, you snapped, slapping her arm, but your friend just laughed.
“Tell me I´m wrong and tell me you wouldn’t have gladly joined him.”
“Obviously I wouldn’t.”, you said, but it was a lie and Pansy knew it just as well as you.
You had had a crush on Draco ever since you could remember and ever since you could remember, Pansy teased you about it. At first, you had really tried to deny your feelings for Draco, not only in front of Pansy but also yourself, but there was absolutely no point in lying. Neither to yourself nor to your friend. Pansy knew you like the back of her hand and to her, you were like an open book. She had often encouraged you to try and talk to Draco, assuring you that she was rather sure that he shared the feelings you held for him as well, but until now you had never dared to do so. Still, Pansy had never given up. And neither did she now.
“You could have just stayed and cuddled with him. He even told you he wouldn’t have minded. And you can´t tell me that there´s a single guy out there who would let you do so unless he is all over you.”
“Or unless he´s a good friend.”
“Oh yeah, because you cuddle with Blaise all the time. Or Crabbe. Or Goyle.”
“That´s different. They just ain´t that much into it.”
“But Draco is?”
“Well, obviously.”
“But only with you.”
“That´s not true.”
“So have you ever seen him cuddle with someone else?”
You hesitated for a moment. Because even though you hated to admit – Pansy was somehow right. You really had never seen Draco comfortable with anyone else being near him in that way before. Actually, most of the time, when other people came close to him, he backed up immediately, pulling a face in disgust. But when it was you, he only pulled you closer, from time to time -when no one else was around- actively looking for your closeness, acting so much more relaxed and loosened up, when he held you in his arms. Your relationship was for sure different from the friendships the two of you held with others, but that didn’t mean that there were any romantic feelings involved from his side, did it?
When you didn’t answer, only staring into the void with a faint smile on your lips, Pansy grinned superiorly.
“That´s what I thought.”
“That doesn’t mean anything.”, you brushed her off, hiding your face in your hands.
“Well, if it doesn’t mean anything, you surely won´t mind if I get Draco here so the two of you can continue where you left off.”
You gasped as you looked at your friend, still grinning at you.
“Don’t you dare, Pansy!”
“I´m just saying. I don’t mind sleeping in the common room tonight. And I could send Draco up here and tell him that…”
“You won´t tell him, Pansy. None of this, alright? Never! You have to promise.”
Pansy just rolled her eyes.
“Obviously I won´t. What kind of friend would I be if I couldn’t keep a secret?”
And with that, she definitely had a point.
You slammed your book shut and groaned as you leaned back in your chair. The bushy-haired girl on the opposite side of the table did so as well, only that she was closing the book so carefully that you could have suspected it was a rare and precious relic and not only an old schoolbook.
“This wasn´t that bad after all, was it? We´re already halfway through.”, she spoke up.
You gasped in disbelief.
“Only halfway? I thought we were close to the end. We´ve been sitting on this for hours. I feel like my head is going to explode.”
“Well, you asked me for help because you wanted to do it right. So we will do it right.”
“Whatever.”, you huffed.
“Tomorrow at the same time then?”
“Tomorrow already? Can´t we take a break?”
“The longer we wait the longer it will take us to finish that. So we better be quick. I also got other things to do.”
“Alright then, see you tomorrow.”
You grabbed your books and threw them into your bag carelessly, making the girl in front of you frown.
You were already halfway out of the library when you turned around once more.
“And Granger?”
The girl with the red and golden tie around her neck glanced at you distrustfully. You forced your lips upwards into a small smile, even though you were quite sure it looked rather wry.
“Thanks for your help. I…” You bit your lip, trying to make the words not sound like the worst insult. “I really appreciate that.”
Carefully, the Gryffindor returned your smile.
“You´re welcome.”, she said, before turning to the books in front of her again, closing the one you had just used for your Ancient Runes essay and replacing them with the ones you used for History of Magic.
You shook your head in disbelief as you made your way to your common room. Your eyes already felt heavy and your mind groggy after the hours of work you had put into your one essay. How Granger could now continue to work on yet another one was just incomprehensible to you.
When you had finally reached the door to your common room, every thought about the Gryffindor was however replaced with the ones of a cosy spot in front of the fireplace and the much more pleasant company of your friends who would talk about much more interesting things than why the unicorn presented the number one, the graphorn however presented the number two in the language of the runes.
With a faint smile on your lips, you entered the room, heading for your usual seats. You already spotted your friends sitting there, engaged in a conversation.
You let yourself fall onto the expensive material of the armchair with a heavy sigh, stretching your stiff limbs.
“Sorry it took me so long.”, you stated. “I was sitting on that damn essay until just now. And we haven’t even finished it. Can you imagine this? Hours of work and no results yet. Merlin, this Gryffindor know-it-all all really had me on my toes. But at least it wasn’t as bad as I imagined it. I just hope that in the end all of the work will pay off. I really can´t afford yet another bad grade.”
You placed your feet on the coffee table in front of you and looked at Pansy and Blaise, who were sitting on the couch next to you, expectantly. But instead of some understanding words, you were only met with icy silence. Pansy didn’t even look at you, while Blaise´s glance shifted between you and your friend.
“What? Are you lost for words?”, you chuckled, raising an eyebrow in amusement.
“That´s one way to put it.”, Pansy muttered under her breath, her eyes shooting daggers into your direction.
You narrowed your eyes in confusion as you returned her look. Pansy was a master at daunting other people and making them feel like they had just committed a war crime just by looking at them, but normally, she reserved those glares for the people of other houses, especially the Gryffindors. And if she looked at one of her best friends like you had just drowned some kittens, you must have screwed up something really bad. But for the love of Salazar, you couldn’t figure out what it was. Your gaze shifted to Blaise, silently seeking for help, but the boy just pursed his lips and looked away.
You sighed and sat up straight, returning Pansy´s glare without blinking once.
“Alright, tell me, what is it then?”
Your friend raised an eyebrow mockingly, but there was no actual amusement in her voice as she said: “Really, (Y/n)? You can´t think of anything? You must be down even worse than we thought.”
“Down for what? What are you talking about? Is something wrong?”
“Certainly.”
“For Merlin´s sake, Pansy! Just quit your games and tell me already!”
“Why should I? If you don’t get it yourself, I´m afraid we can´t help you anymore.”
You groaned in resignation. You wouldn’t be able to get out of her what you wanted to know like this. Pansy had closed up completely and it looked like she wouldn’t open up that easy again. And you knew for sure that trying to get something out of Blaise was impossible in almost every state. Yet you took a deep breath and forced yourself to smile sweetly at Pansy.
“Alright, I see where this is going. So what does my best friend in the whole wide world wants me to do for her so she will finally tell me what I did to upset her today?”
Pansy crossed her arms in front of her chest, still glaring at you.
“Well, I can´t tell you, because by best friend you obviously can´t be referring to me.”
Your face fell.
“What?”
Your roommate smiled at you so calmly as if she hadn’t just given you evil tidings.
“I think you heard me correctly, (Y/l/n).”
Even though the fireplace was still lit up, the fire inside burning brightly, you felt the temperature dropping by a few degrees at her words.
“Quit the show, Pansy. Either tell me what´s wrong now or stop behaving like this, this really isn’t funny.” You heard your voice shaking.
Pansy stood up from her place, walking up to you slowly, before she came to a halt right in front of you, towering over you. To her right and left you could see some people shooting you some curious glances.
“You´re right, (Y/l/n), this really isn’t funny at all. All of those years I shared my room with some filthy bloodtraitor who brought so much shame to the entire house of Slytherin.”
By now, you were absolutely sure that whatever this was about, the situation was certainly serious. Because Pansy knew better than anyone else that this insult wasn’t something to make fun of. Bloodtraitors were the worst witches and wizards to ever exist, in your opinion, willingly abandoning their rights and obligations and betraying the people closest to them, disgracing their entire bloodline. You tensed in your armchair, straightening your back as you glared up at your friend.
“What did you just say?”, you asked, still hoping that you had just misheard what Pansy had said. Your voice was dangerously low because even though it was your best friend standing right in front of you, you couldn’t guarantee that you wouldn’t hex her nastily if she would repeat what she had just said.
But Pansy didn’t seem to be impressed because she looked you dead in the eyes and said: “Do you really want me to repeat that, (Y/l/n)? Isn´t all of that already embarrassing enough for you?”
“Alright, Pansy, tell me who knotted your wand or quit the bullshit and leave me alone.”
The girl let out a humourless laugh.
“I certainly won´t leave. But I will gladly help you pack your things if you want to.”
“Why should I? This is my home just as it is yours.”
“Not anymore. You lost your privilege of calling this place home the second you got involved with that filthy mudblood.”
Now you couldn’t help but laugh yourself.
“Hold on, that´s what this is about? That I work on that essay with a Gryffindor?”
“A Gryffindor, a friend of Potter and a mudblood.”, Pansy spat out.
You shrugged your shoulders.
“So? It´s not the first time we use others to get us some good grades, is it? And if I remember it correctly you even encouraged me to do so, because you couldn’t help me.”
That was true indeed. When you had a good cry on Pansy´s shoulder about how you didn’t know how you would pass the class, she had actually told you that you should just ask the person who was on top of the class for help, since none of your friends had taken the class this year and you were on the edge of a breakdown. And the person who was the best in your class happened to be Hermione Granger. And when you had realized that there was no way of talking her into doing your work for you, you had grudgingly agreed to partner up with her for the class, something neither you nor the Gryffindor had exactly been looking forward to, but your teacher had however been delighted about. And now Pansy actually wanted to blame you for taking her advice?
“I told you to look for someone to do your work, not to become best friends with.”
“What do you think we were doing? We were studying, Pansy. Not braiding each other’s hair.”
“Yes, you were studying. And you talked with her. And smiled at her. And in the end, you even thanked her. Millicent has told me all about it.”, Pansy snapped.
Your gaze fell on the said girl, who was sitting in a chair not far away, her arms crossed in front of her chest, as she looked at you disapprovingly, thrusting her jutting jaw forward.
“So am I supposed to keep a straight face for hours, showing everyone how much I hate studying with that girl and in the end not even thanking her for helping me out, even though I still need her?”, you asked in disbelief.
Pansy just shrugged her shoulders.
“Ain´t that hard, is it?”
“Pansy, you know I need a good grade in that essay or I´ll fail that class.”
“So?”
“So? I need this class. I need those grades. I´m really sorry if you don’t like that, but right now I need to set my priorities and they certainly aren’t keeping you content with me all the time.”
“So you choose your work with a mudblood over your friends? Your family?”
“No, Pansy. I choose a good degree over your personal vendetta.”, you answered, before you stood up, now being face to face with the girl you had always thought had been your friend. “Tell me when you can think straight again, but until then just leave me alone. I really can´t deal with that childish behaviour right now.”
You wanted to pass her, but Pansy stepped in your way.
“You might consider this childish, (Y/l/n), but I´m just loyal to my house. Something that you don’t seem to care about anymore.”
“How dare you call me out like this?”, you responded, raising your voice. “I am just as loyal to this house as everyone else in here. Salazar, you know I wouldn’t be a Slytherin if I wouldn’t be.”
“Seems like even the sorting head can be wrong from time to time.”, Pansy scoffed, looking at you in disgust. Then she stepped to the side, finally paving the way. “And now get out of here, we don’t want to see you in here ever again.”
You raised an eyebrow.
“Oh, so you´re talking for everyone now?”, you mocked, convinced that the others wouldn’t share Pansy´s opinion, but as you looked around, your confidence was crushed rather quickly.
The entire common room had witnessed Pansy´s and your conversation and everyone seemed to have a clear opinion about what had happened. But not in the way you had hoped. You could see the disappointment and disgust in the eyes of the people you had shared the biggest part of your life with over the past few years, noticed how they shook their heads in disapproval, crossing their arms in front of their chests as if they wanted to build a barrier between you and the people you had considered your family. Lastly, your gaze settled on Blaise, who was still sitting on one of the couches, his face showing no emotion.
“Oh, c´mon, you all can´t be serious, can you?”, you asked, trying to force yourself to smile, but failed terribly.
“You know the rules, (Y/n).”, Blaise spoke up, his voice sounding almost bored, even though he knew very well that his words would shatter your heart. “No encounters with mudbloods. No encounters with Gryffindors. No encounters with people who threaten our world. And you did all of these things.”
By now you could feel tears pricking in your eyes, but you blinked quickly to prevent them from falling.
“You should really leave now.”, Pansy hissed, the grin on her face making you suspect that she enjoyed this situation way too much. And it broke your heart that she did so.
“Come back when you remember where you belong.”, Blaise added.
“That´s not on you to decide. You can´t just kick me out.”, you rejected.
“Well, it doesn’t look like anyone minds, does it?”, Pansy responded.
And when your gaze flickered through the room once more, you hated the fact that you had to agree with Pansy. Right now, no one seemed to be on your side. You had done nothing wrong, yet they all treated you like a leper.
“But Draco. Draco isn’t here. You can´t decide this without him.”, you started one last weak attempt, not only clutching at straws that Draco would understand your situation and support you, but also knowing that every Slytherin respected the boy and wouldn’t dare to speak up against him.
But while you saw some people looking rather uncertain at the mention of the Malfoy heir, Pansy just giggled maliciously.
“That´s just so sweet, (Y/l/n). You really think Draco is going to save you?” Her voice was dripping from fake petty. “You really think that he isn´t going to be disgusted when he finds out that you encounter the enemy? Out of all the people you think that Draco will understand your friendship with a mudblood who is also Potter´s filthy girlfriend?”
“She isn’t….”, you tried to contradict, but Pansy continued unbothered.
“You really think that he won´t hate you just as much as we all do by now. That he won´t hold your betrayal against you?” She giggled again. “You know, I will almost feel sorry for you when Draco finds out, you know that? It´s really going to break your little heart when he abandons you as well. It´s quite the opposite of what you were hoping for, isn’t it?”
You felt your heart in your mouth. You knew that all of this was just a big misunderstanding. You weren’t quite sure yet whether Pansy intentionally hurt you or if she actually thought that you had betrayed your house the way she had portrayed it, but you knew that even after everything she had said, you still loved her. She was still a part of your family and you just knew that you would be able to forgive her her cruel words one day when she would realize the mistake she had made and would beg you for forgiveness. But if she would actually reveal what you were really feeling for Draco, now that the entire house of Slytherin was listening, you knew that your trust in her would be damaged lastingly.
Your eyes were locked with Pansy´s, silently pleading to not say something that she couldn’t take back, but Pansy´s glare wasn’t affected by it. She returned your gaze without blinking once when she said -loud enough for everyone to hear-: “Merlin, (Y/l/n). You had a crush on this boy ever since the first day and now you´re throwing it all away for some stupid mudblood. That´s really pathetic.”
The room around you started to spin, slowly at first and then faster and faster, when the buzzing in your ears mixed with the whispering and laughter of the people around you. All you wanted to do was to break down right away, run to your dorm, lock the doors and never get out again, but when you saw Pansy grinning at you, apparently enjoying the effect her words had had on the room, you knew that you wouldn’t give her the satisfaction.
And when you spoke up again, you were pleasantly surprised by how calm your voice sounded, when you said: “You know what, Pansy? Even if this was true, it wouldn’t be half as pathetic as throwing away a friendship over some stupid rumours and not even listening to the person you have always called your best friend.” You waited a moment until the echo of your words had vanished in the room that had fallen quiet again, eager to listen to what you had to say, before you took a deep breath and added: “And about your question what kind of friend you would be if you aren’t able to keep a secret; the answer is you ain´t one at all.”
Just for a second, you thought you could see some regret shimmering in Pansy´s eyes, but you didn’t look at her long enough to be sure of it. You just walked past her, ignoring the glances of the people around you, as you tried to prevent your legs from giving in, at least until you would be out of sight for the people that had until this very day had meant the most to you.
But while you were rather proud of yourself for not letting your guard down while you had still been in the common room, the moment the door had closed behind you, the tears had started to fall and until now they hadn’t stopped yet. Ever since you had walked away from the common room almost half an hour ago, you had wandered around the castle aimlessly. It was sheer luck that you hadn’t crossed ways with some other students or -even more likely since it was almost curfew- any of the professors or Filch. You had absolutely no idea where you were going or how you would explain to anyone why you were still out, with puffy eyes and looking like an absolute mess. All you knew was that you certainly wouldn’t go back to your dorm tonight. Maybe if you would go to the Hospital Wing, Madame Pomfrey would allow you to stay the night if you would claim to feel sick or have a bad headache. You knew that Madame Pomfrey wasn’t easy to get fooled but given your pathetic appearance you were quite sure that she wouldn’t ask too many questions. And how you would continue from that point on, you could still think about tomorrow.
For now, there was a much more important question occupying your mind. After the entire common room had heard what Pansy had blurted out about your feelings for Draco, you were absolutely sure, that the latest by tomorrow, the entire school would know. If you were honest, you didn’t actually care about your stupid classmates gossiping about how (Y/n) (Y/l/n) was hopelessly in love with Draco Malfoy, you knew that these kinds of rumours had spread across the castle´s grounds rather often already, but what you did care about was what Draco would think about it if someone would tell him in every small detail - and probably some rather subjective interpretation - about the entire situation and Pansy´s words.
After Pansy had exposed you like this in front of everyone and didn’t even seem to be sorry about it at all, you had already kind of accepted that you had lost your best friend – probably forever- but after everything she had said tonight, you weren´t even as sad about it as you thought you should be. Pansy had made her decision. She had decided to believe some stupid rumours without even questioning them, had decided to let her pride and her prejudices ruin one of the longest and closest relationships both of you had ever had. This was on her. Not on you. But with Draco, it was different.
Not only because you loved the boy in a way so different from everything you had ever felt before, but also because Draco would – the moment he would walk into the common room – be assailed with narratives of all the people he trusted the most and who had already formed an opinion about what had happened. And an opinion about you. And you were rather sure that most of them wouldn’t be exactly well for you.
At the mere thought of what Draco was thinking about you maybe at this very moment, if he had by now already entered the common room and heard all those nasty things about you, you felt the tears welling up in you all over again. Draco would be so disgusted by you. Maybe he would even hate you. But the worst thought about this was that he was probably disappointed in you. You could vividly imagine how the blond boy was sitting in his usual armchair, staring into the fireplace, while Pansy would tell him how you had betrayed them all. How you had betrayed him. And when Pansy would be finished, Draco would look at Blaise, hoping he would contradict, but Blaise would just shrug his shoulders and say something like: “I know, man, we all didn’t expect it. But Millicent saw them in the library. And Montague as well.” And then Draco would shake his head and let out a sigh, wondering how he could have ever been fooled by you like that. And the next time you would see him, his gaze wouldn’t be full of affection but would be cold, maybe even indifferent. And he would walk towards you, but instead of coming to a halt in front of you, he would just walk past you, probably giving you a small nod and say: “(Y/l/n)”. And then he would punish you with his neglect, knowing that this would be the worst thing that he could ever do to you.
Your vision was blurry, and your hands were shaking when you turned around the next corner, still not knowing where to go. But your walk was curbed rather harshly when suddenly, you bumped into someone.
“Easy there, (Y/n).”, you heard a deep voice chuckling.
And it was the same voice you had just played in your head over and over again. Only that now that he was actually standing in front of you, Draco´s voice didn’t sound as cold as you had imagined it but was as warm and affectionate as you were used to it. And when you glanced up at the tall Slytherin through the haze of your tears, you could see him smiling down at you without hesitation. You gulped heavily. Probably, Draco hadn’t met any fellow Slytherins yet who had told him what had happened back in the common room. This was the only explanation for why he kept so calm around you.
“I was already looking for you, love.”, Draco continued. He brushed some strands of hair out of your face, his smile unfazed.
For a moment you felt some irritation welling up in you. Why was he looking for you? Did he already know after all? But if he did, why was he still so gentle around you? But either way; why was he smiling at you while you were obviously upset, with tears still running down your face? Did he already hate you so much that he enjoyed seeing you like this?
But all those thoughts were pushed back because you forced yourself to savour every moment, he would still be nice to you. With all your willpower, you tried to imprint the softness in his eyes and the way his voice sounded when he called you by his favourite nickname for you into your mind, in case it would be the last time.
Draco however didn’t show any intention of pushing you away anytime soon. Instead, he pulled you to one on the windowsills, hidden behind one of the permeable walls of the castle, where you were shielded from curious glances. When the boy took your hand into his bigger one, you followed him without hesitation, until he sat down on the sill and signified you to do the same.
Draco just stared at you, his face showing no emotion, when you sniffled quietly, trying to wipe away the tears, still burning in your eyes. Only when you had finally given up trying to fix the mess the tears had done to your face, the Slytherin finally cleared his throat.
“So, do you want to tell me what happened?”
“You don’t really want to tell me you don’t know yet, do you?”, you responded. You didn’t intend your voice to sound that bitter, but you were just too exhausted to try and hide it.
Draco shrugged his shoulders.
“I heard quite a few things tonight. But I want to hear it from you as well.”
You let out a small laugh.
“Well, you´re the first one.”
You didn’t know why now that you finally had a chance to explain yourself, you got as defiant as you did now. But when you glanced at Draco, he just looked at you, not seeming to hold your words against you and waiting patiently for you to explain yourself. And at that moment you suddenly knew that you just had to take this chance. Obviously, you couldn’t be certain how Draco would think about the entire story, but for some reason, you just knew that the bond between the two of you was way too strong to be destroyed by all the things that had happened today. Draco and you had always sticked together. And that wouldn’t change today.
The moment you came to that realization, the words started to tumble over your lips. With every word you spoke, the pressure that had been put on you was falling off more and more. And Draco listened patiently to everything. From your fear of failing the class, to how you may or may not had been a bit friendlier to Granger than you had been supposed to and finally how everyone was holding exactly that now against you, even -or more precisely especially- Pansy, who had not only broken with you but had also said some things you had told her in confidence. That however was the only point where you left out some details. Even though you strongly suspected that some idiot had already told Draco how you were actually feeling for him, after all the time you had been keeping it from your friend, you just couldn’t bring yourself to say those words out loud in front of him.
When you had come to the end of your report, the tears, that over time had almost dried, came back in full force.
“I just don’t get it.”, you sniffled. “She is – she was my best friend. And now I don’t even know if any of this has ever been real. I mean if it would have been, she wouldn’t have done this to me, would she? Salazar, Pansy hates me so much, Draco. The entire house does now. Everyone does.”
Your voice broke down and you lowered your head when yet some other tears were making their way down your cheeks.
Until now, Draco had quietly sat on the windowsill, looking at you with narrowed eyes the entire time, his eyes not leaving your face for once. But now that you had fallen silent, he quickly stood up, and with one large step, he was standing in front of you, grabbing your hands to make you get up as well, before pulling you into a tight embrace. You buried your face in the crook of his neck as he wrapped his arms around you, holding you as close as humanly possible.
“I don’t hate you, (Y/n).”, he mumbled into your hair. His voice was low and you could feel the vibration of the words in his chest, making you shiver. “I don’t hate you and I never could. And if the others actually think like that, they´re all idiots. Merlin, forget it. They´re idiots anyway. You´ve done nothing wrong, love. Trust me, this isn’t on you.”
“But why does it feel like it is?”
“Because everyone has told you it is. And now you start to believe it yourself. But I´m here to tell you that you´re not.”
“How can you be so sure of that?”
“I know you, (Y/n). Salazar, you´re one of the best people I´ve ever met. All you did was ask for help.”
“Exactly, I showed weakness. In front of a mudblood.”
“Sometimes you can bend the rules a bit, love. You did it because you had to. There´s nothing wrong with that.”
You couldn’t help but let out a small chuckle and felt yourself relax into Draco´s arms a bit.
“Says you.”, you mumbled.
“Exactly. And if even I can say that, then it has to be true, doesn’t it?”
You were pretty sure that under every different circumstance and with every different person, Draco would have probably given them hell for even talking to someone like Granger at all, let alone working with her. But maybe this was the reason his words calmed you down even more. The Slytherin was willing to go against those values he believed in so strictly just to cheer you up. And it worked better than you would have guessed.
Draco and you stayed in the embrace for a couple more minutes, until even the last tears had dried up and most of the tension had left your body. And even though you now felt just exhausted and would have done anything for him to keep on holding you like this for just a bit longer, you pulled back slightly, until you were able to look Draco in the eyes again. When his eyes met yours, he smiled softly, holding a tenderness in his eyes you had never seen in him before.
“Thank you.”, you said. Your voice sounded slightly raspy.
The smile on Draco´s face only widened.
“There´s nothing to thank me for, love.”
“No, for real, Draco. I… I felt really shitty about all of this but now I feel… like maybe there is a way to work it all out.”
“And if there isn’t one, we´re going to make one.”
You looked at him hopefully.
“We?”
“Of course. We´re in this together, don’t you think?”
“Why?”
“Purely selfish reasons.”, Draco smirked. “I want to see that pretty smile of yours again as soon as possible.”
You couldn’t help your lips twitching up at his words, making Draco grin smugly.
“See, my life would be a lot worse without this.”
You nudged him.
“Oh, just shut up!”
“Why? It´s the truth.”
You let out a small giggle before you grew serious again. Because with all the affection Draco was showing you now, you were reminded of another certain detail, one you would rather forget but you knew that it was probably for the best if you would bring it up before anyone else would.
“Draco?”
“Yes, love?”
“You… you said you heard a few things about what happened back in the common room before you came looking for me.”
Draco nodded, now looking a bit grimmer again, as he remembered all the nasty things he had never imagined anyone could ever think - let alone speak out loud - about you.
“And did you… did they… I mean, have you also heard something about you. About us I mean. Not that there is much to say, but I just… I don’t know… Pansy said a few things earlier and I just want to make sure that this… I just don’t want you to get something wrong about it.”
Draco nodded again, his eyes never leaving yours, as he brushed some strands of hair out of your face, letting his fingertips ghosting over your cheek, making you shiver.
“We don’t have to talk about this now, (Y/n). There´s pretty much been going on tonight and if you´re not ready for this now…”
“No! No, it´s alright. Just… What did you hear?” Even though you were scared of what would happen next, even though you were scared that you might lose the last person who you were still meaning something to by this as well, you knew that none of these things would get any better if you waited any longer or would just ignore it. “If you want to tell me of course.”, you added quickly, as you noticed the indecisiveness in Draco´s eyes.
“Well, a few people came up to me and told me that… Apparently, you told Pansy that…” Draco shook his head and took a deep breath. “No, you know what, it doesn’t matter what she said. What any of them said. This… should be about us.”
You just nodded, your eyes flickering anywhere but meeting Draco´s, until suddenly you felt a hand under your chin, gently forcing you to look up at the blond boy again, who was looking at you intensively.
“(Y/n), do you have a thing for me?”
You gulped heavily at the straightforwardness of his question. There was not much to beat around the bush, so you just nodded. The nod looked a bit rigid, also given to the fact that his hand was still placed at your chin, but it was unmistakably a nod.
Your head was running wild, imagining all the things that could go wrong about this, from Draco feeling betrayed by you, to taking back everything he had said within the last minutes, but none of those things happened. Instead, a small grin appeared on the boy´s face again, spreading more and more with every second passing.
“Then you might want to know that I have a thing for you as well, love.”, he said in a husky voice, sounding as if the confession had almost knocked the air out of his lungs as much as it did to you.
You blinked at the boy in confusion, having to take a moment to let his words sink in.
“You… you also…”, you stammered when you had finally found your voice again.
Draco nodded.
“One could say I am stupidly in love with you, as some of these people have expressed so elegantly. So yes, I also.”
You looked at the Slytherin with widened eyes, feeling a warmth flushing through your entire body, you had never felt before.
“Are you going to let me kiss you now, or what?”, Draco chuckled, when he saw the still perplexed look on your face.
Still too stunned to speak, you just nodded.
And when Draco finally gently pressed his lips on yours, you couldn’t quite remember anymore why you had thought that this day would end so miserably in the first place. All that you could think of at this moment were Draco´s lips on yours and his hand wandering from your chin to your cheek, cupping it, before continuing its way to the back of your head to pull you even closer to him, while his other hand sneaked around your waist, striving the same. He never loosened his grip once, only trying to pull you even closer than before, his touch comforting you, reminding you that you were anything but alone in this world. Because Draco would stay with you, no matter which challenges you would have to meet in the future and with him by your side you were positive that you would master them effortlessly.
Only when your lips were swollen and your lungs burning, you finally pulled back slightly, still his arms stayed where they were, not wanting to lose the feeling of closeness completely.
“We should probably get back soon.”, Draco mumbled. His lips brushed against yours as they moved. “It´s already after curfew and you need to get some sleep. This was a long day.”
Unwillingly, you tensed under his touch as you shook your head.
“I can´t go back there. How am I supposed to sleep in a dorm with her after everything that happened? After everything she said?”
“Well, at least some of it turned out to have a positive outcome after all, didn’t it?”, Draco responded, pecking your lips, but he quickly grew more serious again when he saw you shooting him a deadly glare. He sighed. “Alright, love. Maybe I got a different idea.”
You raised an eyebrow, looking at him questioningly as Draco smirked at you.
“What if I told you,”, he said, as his thumb brushed over your lips tenderly, “that there is a place that will make all your dreams come true and I can promise that Pansy won´t be nowhere in sight?”
You gasped and slapped him against his chest lightly.
“Draco Malfoy, if you´re suggesting I´ll get back with you to your dorm, let me tell you that I certainly won´t…”
“Even though this idea sounds more than tempting”, Draco interrupted you, “that isn’t what I have in mind. I mean a room that will literally shape into everything that you are wishing for. And I´m sure, a cosy bed won´t be an exception. And tomorrow morning, I´ll get you your school supplies and after class, we´ll think about how we´re going to go on, alright?”
You looked at the boy in front of you with narrowed eyes, but at this point, you were actually too exhausted to argue and Draco´s idea actually sounded just way too good to question it. So you just nodded.
Draco grinned at you smugly, as he took a step back, letting go of you, before his hand found yours, intertwining your fingers.
“Follow me then, my love. I promise you won´t be disappointed.”
You returned his smile without hesitation.
“As if you ever could disappoint me.”
“Obviously. As long as we´re together, everything will turn out just fine.”
And when you followed Draco, you just somehow felt that he was right. One way or another, everything would work out. You were sure of that.

Coming Out - (BFF) Pansy Parkinson X Female (Lesbian) Reader
Tumblr media
Title: Coming Out
(BFF) Pansy Parkinson X Female (Lesbian) Reader
Additional Characters: Snape (Mentioned) and Draco (Mentioned)
Requested
WC: 531
Warnings: Nervousness, anxiety, coming out, brief mention of pranks, and worries of not being accepted
You fiddled with your sweater as you traveled through the dungeons to the Slytherin common room. It was just one of those days, and it had started off bad before breakfast. You'd been sitting in the Great Hall at breakfast when Professor Snape had called you into his office for a chat. He told you that he wanted to discuss your grades with you alone, so naturally, you assumed you were in trouble again. But after they'd sent you back to the table, word got around that you'd done well on your Potions exam and that you'd gotten an O in Defense Against the Dark Arts. You never thought that was going to happen.
But that didn't stop you from being nervous. For weeks now you've been gaining the courage to come out to your best friend Pansy. She's such a sweet, kind girl, but she is also very accepting of everyone no matter what their sexuality might be. And considering her reputation, you originally didn't think that she would. Unlike most Slytherin, you didn't care about blood or race, and you knew Pansy did. Yet, once you met her and got to know her; she was actually really nice.
Simple misunderstanding.
And that's how she became your best friend.
Once you entered and found Pansy, you opened your mouth to speak; but she beat you to it. "Oh! Y/N! There you are! Where have you been?" She asked, walking over to you.
Your eyes were comically wide, like a deer in headlights as you tried to stop fidgeting. "I need to tell you something." You said nervously.
Pansy smiled warmly and placed her hand on your shoulder. "Come sit down. I'm sure whatever it is, we can figure this out together!"
You nodded and sat next to Pansy at the table, and then looked up at her. "Um… So…" You stammered.
"Yes?" She prompted.
You gulped. "Well… Um… Um…" You glanced away from her and then turned back to look at her. "I'm a lesbian."
She blinked rapidly and furrowed her brow. "What?" She said in disbelief.
Pansy let out a deep breath and gave you a long stare. After a few moments, she spoke again. "Are you serious? Why haven't I known this about you until now?"
You shrugged. "I don't know. I guess because I still haven't told anyone else yet." You explained.
"Oh, well, that makes sense." Pansy smiled. "I'm glad you told me. Thank you. I am glad you trust me enough to tell me."
"Thank you too!" You smiled. "For accepting me."
Pansy nodded, placing a hand on your shoulder, "Of course! You're my best friend. It's what we do."
You smiled and nodded. "Yeah." You replied.
The two of you fell silent for a bit, not knowing what to say. Then, suddenly, Pansy spoke up again. "So, um… Well. What do you want to do now?"
You shrugged. "I don't know. You wanna find Draco and turn his hair blue?"
Pansy giggled softly. "That sounds fun! We should totally go with that!"
You nodded enthusiastically and then stood up. "Yeah, let's go!" You walked towards the door, and Pansy followed closely behind you.

Amicable (Hermione Granger x reader x Pansy Parkinson)
Request:could i request for pansy and hermione and reader? they’re having a sleepover and they start all touching each other shyly and giggly. pansy scissors the reader while hermione rubs her clit. and maybe draco or one of the guys walks in
You brought your two best friends together, Hermione and Pansy. It took a while for the both of them to become friends but their mutual love of you is what brought them together. Your weekly sleepovers is what really brings you all closer together.
Each week things started to escalate it started with a few friends hanging out and turned to the three of you laying with each other naked on Pansy’s bed.
Pansy crawls on top of you kissing from your lips down your body as she removes your clothes. Hermione hesitantly takes off your bra as Pansy undoes your pants. As Hermione lets your breasts free Pansy smiles “So pretty” she comments.
Hermione’s lips wrap around your nipples sucking gently. Pansy starts to remove her own clothes once she’s satisfied with your naked body. Pansy’s body is flawless, you never get sick of seeing her naked. “Mione, you’re the only one with your clothes on” you observe.
“Let’s change that” Pansy says joining you in removing her clothes. Once the three of you are naked Pansy kisses you slipping her tongue into your mouth. Pansy gropes your breasts while Hermione rubs your clit making your knees weak. Pansy lays you down on the bed and opens your legs wide enough for Pansy and Hermione to take their turns with you.
Hermione’s tongue swipes up and down your pussy whole Pansy’s tongue circles your entrance. You screw your eyes shut moaning loudly for them. You feel yourself becoming incredibly wet. “Fuck I’m close” you warn “Not yet” Pansy says as the two of them move away from pleasuring you.
You sit up and watch as the two girls make out with each other rubbing each other clits slowly and sensually kissing. Pansy breaks away to pay more attention to you. She positions you how she wants and you prepare yourself for the most amazing time.
Pansy positions herself between your legs, she slowly rocks back and forth. The connection makes you shudder in excitement. Hermione moves to the end of the bed where she starts to pleasure herself. Your eyes divert from Pansy to Hermione making sure they both have your attention.
Pansy’s hips move faster and you feel as your clits rub together in your arousal. Pansy’s moans are loud, they turn you and Hermione on every time. “You’re so wet” Pansy says moving your hair away from your face.
Hermione’s fingers rub her clit whole her other hand fingers herself. Her moans are desperate and all you want is to hear her finish.
Pansy grabs your attention as she competes with Hermione’s moans. “Fuck” she cries out “I think I’m going to cum” “I’m with you” you moan. You buck your hips up to Pansy’s as you finish.
The both of you pay attention to Hermione. Pansy eats her out while you play with her tits. As she gets closer the door opens and Draco walks in.
“What the fuck?” He says loudly “Draco?” You ask “What are you doing in here?” He asks “Exactly what it looks like, come back later” Pansy says. Draco shuts the door as the three of you continue.
You press your lips to Hermione’s muffling her moans, she pulls away “I’m close, don’t stop.” You nibble on her nipples as she finishes. Hermione cums hard, you watch as she screws her eyes shut. “So good” Pansy praises.

𝘽𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧'𝙨 𝘽𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙙
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hello, it's been a while, but I finally got a burst of inspiration in light of @thatdammchickennugget's hogmarch challenge. I used the prompt 'or is it because you're not in love with me?' almost 3k. Mattheo x female reader, fluff, with a hint of lewd thoughts He knew you were off limits, a line he wasn't supposed to cross. She was A forbidden desire, and maybe that’s what made him want her so badly. Despite these feelings, ones that he couldn’t seem to suppress, Mattheo knew it would never end well if his best friend Theo found out he’d developed a crush on his bloody sister. He’d sure have him thrown off the astronomy tower before he could even so much as utter a word of apology.  But how could he not, when she was always around, always taking up room in his head. Although she was a year younger than Mattheo and the others, she shared a close bond with her brother. Meaning she spent a majority of her time cooped up in Theo’s shared dorm. She fitted in so well, always making the group laugh, leaving Mattheo often with sore cheeks after spending time with her. It’s not like Mattheo would ever act on these emotions, doubting she even thought about him past another brother-like figure. He cared for his relationship with Theo too much to do anything stupid. Though the temptations were there, whenever she would ask him a question, the sound of her voice like honey setting the butterflies in his stomach on a rampage to where he felt sick. Her smile was so captivating, drawing his attention towards her even on the gloomiest days.
Even away from her, his mind was constantly consumed by thoughts of her. He’d sit at home, running his hands through his hair. It was fucking him up. Doing his best to keep his feelings to himself, always aware of Theo’s eyes on him supervising. His threat constantly on repetition in his head, “If you ever even look at her past platonic, I’ll feed you to a horntail dragon”. His words drive him to act nonchalant around her, treating her like one of the boys. Like a friend who he had absolutely no interest in. Little did Mattheo know, Theo had repeated the near-to-the same speech to her. Theo knew what his friends were like, and while he appreciated the close relationship his sister shared with them, he didn’t want to see her get hurt. His protectiveness for her blinded his view on the way Mattheo seemed to truly care for her. She, on the other hand, had assured her brother that he needed not to worry. Though she didn’t admit it to Theo, she was convinced Mattheo only saw her as his best friend's sister. His demeanor had always been apathetic, showing no other interest in her other than a friend. She was good at hiding her true feelings, but her heart felt contused, hating how he’d deftly crawled his way in. He’d probably done it to countless girls before her, and that fact stung her deeply. That was the hardest part about being around him, knowing she couldn't have him and he'd never want her.
_______________________________________________
It was currently Friday evening. The classic group of your brother's friends had been lounging in his dorm before you had challenged everyone, to who could create the best muggle fort. The room filled with tipsy laughter, everyone having passed around the firewhiskey Enzo and Blaise had sneaked in. The group was divided into two, with you being partnered with Blaise and Theo. You had thought the three of you were doing well despite your disadvantage of one man down, Mattheo's absence due to another detention. But your optimism was dropping as you watched for the third time as the fort collapsed, with Blaise accusing Theo again of being a useless twat for misplacing the pegs. Across from you, you eyed the way the others had worked, laughing as Daphne and Pansy practically ordered Draco and Enzo into working together well. Though you could see the firewhiskey in the boys' systems wasn’t helping, as they had started arguing about the best way to create the fort. You rolled your eyes, giggling at the stupidity of how the night had unfolded. Taking another drink from the bottle, you clapped your hands and explained your game plan to your team, eludicating to them. “Right, you two idiots, I’m going to connect the fort together from the inside, while you two hold it together from the outside. Make sure you pass me a peg when I yell.” You eyed your brother, laughing slightly as he held his hands up defensively. Mattheo made his way down the Slytherin dorm corridors, hearing the sounds of his friends vibrate off the walls. He shoved open the door, readily expecting the ruckus he was about to be greeted with a grin cracking. “Wassup fuck-”, his mouth dropped, brows raising as he takes in the current commotion happening in the crowded room. His eyes are first drawn to the loud bickering occurring between Theo and Blaise. “How long have you been putting pegs on me!? That’s bloody why we can’t find any more!” Blaise complains, reaching around his back to take them off his shirt. Theo struggles to steady himself against the wall as he hurls over, cracking up, gripping his stomach, deep laughter exploding from him. Mattheo’s brows remained raised, watching in amusement as Blaise struggled, spinning around himself like a dog to pry off the pegs.
Mattheo’s gaze shifts as he steps further into the room, dropping his bag on the floor, the sounds of Draco complaining in the mirror. His hands moving in an aggressive action, attempting to smooth out the wrinkles he created during the fort building. Daphne sits beside him, filming his displeasure with her own enjoyment. Mattheo rolls his eyes at his cousin, losing his tie, as his attention is swept once again. This time by Pansy and Enzo, who seem to have moved on after the success of their fort by now throwing lollies into one another’s mouth. He spins around again, his curiosity peaks as he wonders where the last member of the group is. His heart drops at the thought of you being absent from the night, the expectation of seeing you having pushed him through his boredom in detention. His curiosity is cured when the faint sound of your voice is heard calling out from inside your fort. “Would you two stop bickering and cooperate! I need another peg. I'm literally holding this thing together from the inside!”
Mattheo chuckles deeply, being the only one to hear you over all the commotion. He takes a peg off Blaise’s back, bending down to pop his head into the fort. He grins at the awkward position you seemed to have put yourself in, finding it amusing and also stupid that you left the two most difficult sheets to be pegged together last. His eyes drift down your figure, taking in the cute loungewear set you had on as you puffed a piece of hair out of your face, sighing irritably. He knows he should just hand you the peg, but his impulsive thoughts and the fact that you two were actually alone for once made him act. As he leans over your shoulder, reaching forward to peg the two sheets together, making the fort stabilize. Your body shivers slightly as his body retracts back, his curls brushing against your cheek, causing your body to warm up. You let go of the sheets, turning now to face him, unaware of how close he still is to you. You hadn’t even heard him come in, leaving you unprepared for his now close presence. He shifts back, allowing reasonable space between you two, and you let out a small sigh out, brushing it off as just an act of kindness, nothing more than platonic. You smile casually, “Oh, glad you could finally join us. What was the detention for this time, Riddle?” You tilt your head slightly, teasing him. His mouth pulls in a half smile before he rolls his eyes at your taunt, “This one wasn’t actually my fault, the guy was just asking for it. Fucking first years.” He scrunches his face in fake annoyance, watching you laugh at his grumble. His eyes meet yours for a moment, taking in the way your face is lit up before he shifts his attention to the fort. He was quite surprised with the fact it was actually staying up considering how intoxicated the others actually seemed. “Let me guess, this was your idea Ace.” You let out a light laugh, averting your eyes to the interior of the fort. Praying your cheeks were keeping their composure, feeling the rush of heat hit them at the nickname. You’d always had a soft spot for the nickname, though you doubted it was only being used in a friendly manner. Nodding your head to his question, your eyes still gazing at the roof of the fort, feeling something was missing. “Yeah, I thought it would be a fun competition. Not too late for you to help out though. I still wanna hang some fairy lights so we can see. Can you grab them for me?” Mattheo nodded, lazily leaning only his upper body out the fort entrance, posing himself in a way that gave you a good view of his ass. Unsure if he had done it on purpose or not, you tried not to stare too long, but the way it curved nicely in his pants was making your mind run wild. As Mattheo stuck his head out the entrance, spotting the others in a discussion, catching the end of their conversation about sneaking into the kitchens. “Oi, grab me a pack of MnMs,” he calls out to them, as they head out the dorm door. He spots the fairy lights reaching out his outstretched hand, grabbing them before retracting back into the fort. He twisted around, noticing the way your eyes darted around before meeting his gaze. His chest thumps at the realization that the two of you are alone, chuckling to himself that your brother must be too far gone to have noticed. He passes the tangled lights to you with a sly grin. “What did you do with these last? Tie someone up with them?” You roll your eyes at his joke, your cheeks definitely blushing now. You move closer to grab a fistful of lights, slowly untangling them, “Ha ha”. Not bothering to actually reply more than that, the two of you work in a somewhat comfortable silence despite your heart practically pumping out of your chest. His hands work skillfully, untangling the knots down the string. He was clearly good with his fingers. You bit your lip as your mind started wandering off as lewd thoughts swarmed through it. Merlin, what would your brother think, if he knew the ideas Mattheo was unawarely filling yours with.
You spun around feeling your body relax now that you were no longer in his direct eyesight, as you squatted to peg the lights up around the fort. The sound of your friends returning allowed a breath to be exhaled, one you didn’t know you were holding. The temptation of just being alone with Mattheo was proving to be difficult. You grinned, beaming at the finished success of the fort, the lights twinkled giving off a cozy and relaxed ambiance. Mattheo’s felt himself crack a grin at the appearance of your happiness. He’d never get over the way it made him feel as if sunshine was being shone brightly inside him. He patted your thigh gently, “Looks good Ace.” Before you can react to his touch, the others burst through, chucking pillows and blankets in a multitude of places as they all arrange themselves. You move out of the way watching as Pansy sets up a projector for you all to watch a film.
As the movie started, you rotated quickly to find a spot, coincidently noticing only one left beside Mattheo. He had made sure not to make you uncomfortable, leaving enough space between you both, as you squeezed in beside him, laying on your stomach. Laying side by side, your shoulder grazing him as you fiddled with the sleeve of your shirt. Throughout the movie, you couldn’t stop fiddling, slipping your thumb in and out of the makeshift hole you had made. Mattheo lay his hands out in front of him, his eyes drawn to the movement of your fingers fidgeting. He played with his own thumbs trying to focus on the screen, the urge to reach out and embrace your own hand in his. Though with you distracted, he inched closer to you as stealthily as possible, as to not scare you away or draw any attention to himself. His eyes moved to check out for Theo, who was deeply engrossed in the movie, probably having taken an edible. His eyes moving back up to yours, as you offered him some Mnms, graciously accepting.
Moving to put the chocolates back in the middle, you used the moment to peer at him, noticing him distracted by the movie. You were trying to act as normal as possible, feeling the way his heat flowed onto yours from the closeness of your bodies. The illumination of the lights were cast upon him, allowing you to make out his appearance under the soft glow of the fort. Taking in the pretty colour of his mahogany eyes and the sweet shape of his rosy lips as he licked the chocolate off them. You couldn’t help but imagine what they’d be like to kiss. You had thought you were doing a good job of being discreet when Mattheo leans into you to whisper, “You're staring Ace.” His voice was quiet enough as to not capture the attention of the others. You froze momentarily, your heart beating, not realising how close he was to your face. Before you whispered back, “You’ve got chocolate on your face.” You swallow the lump forming in your throat as you pray, your response was quick and clever enough to cover up that fact that you had been caught. You kept your eyes glued to his, trying to give off the appeal that you were being serious.
His face spreads into a cheeky grin, whispering back. “Sure it’s not because you’re in love with me.” He had said it as a joke but realised as he watched your eyes widen that his whispering may have made it come across differently. His own brows scrunched in realisation as he makes out through the dim lights, a faint tint of redness creeping up your cheeks. You averted your eyes back to the TV, your heart hammering as you repeated his words over in your head. You were panicking, your eyes darting over to your brother. If anyone else heard and saw your reaction, you totally would have given away your feelings for him. You chewed on your lip before you cursed at yourself, for now realizing by not replying you were making the situation look worse. You look back at him, the small amount of firewhiskey flowing through you. “That’s very cocky of you to assume, Riddle”. Your initial reaction to his comment gave him the confidence to nudge your shoulder slightly. “Am I wrong though?” he challenged, keeping his voice low. Though he didn’t get to hear your response as Pansy shushed the two of you, making you both look away from one another. You could hardly concentrate on the rest of the movie after the latest turn of events. Your brain was working on overdrive to calm your anxiety. Of course he’d be the one to make your brain melt, turning you back into your fourteen old-self reminding you of when you first met him. He must think you’re insane. He’s probably laughing it up that Theo’s sister is in love with him. You felt trapped, wanting to escape, feeling like a joke. Caught up in your own panicked nightmare, the soft feeling of fingers pulls your attention, brushing against your hand.
Mattheo had rolled his eyes at Pansy, shushing them, watching the way you averted your eyes from him. His mind was buzzing at the possibility of you actually being into him. He pinched himself, harder than he expected flicking his hand in pain before resting it beside yours. In the fort's darkness, he took the impulsive decision to rest his fingertips against yours. He made the action gentle, not wanting you to react badly. His pinky brushed against yours, and his heartbeat quickened when he felt the sudden movement of your reciprocation. He glanced up at the others, noticing no one paying any mind to the two of you, moving his gaze back to you. A small smile rested on your lips, though your eyes were glued to the movie. He couldn’t help but risk taking it further and slid his fingers into yours, rubbing his thumb over the back of your hand.
Mattheo’s mind filled with only thoughts of you as he blankly stared at the projector. Your hand in his felt like the most natural thing, and he couldn’t believe the way he was feeling. How could such a small action reduce him to feeling like a giddy schoolboy. He couldn’t remember the last time he held someone's hand. As the movie progressed, the two of you didn’t break contact, fingers staying intertwined. You finally turned to look at him, your eyes studying his sweet brown eyes. It was a quiet moment, but there was an unspoken understanding between them. They knew they were crossing a line, treading into dangerous territories if Theo ever found out. But the emotions shining in Mattheo’s eyes, a sly smirk playing on his lips, inflamed a desire that you knew was too good to ignore.

✧˖*°࿐ Love Letters | d.m
Draco Malfoy x f!reader, fluff
Summary: In which Draco tries to find the girl who sends him love letters, unaware to the fact that it’s you.
W/C: 1.5k
Tumblr media
Draco’s fingers traced over the writing on the pink envelope once again. His mind was not able to rest as he tried to piece together who left the note on his bedside in the middle of the night. Delicately opening it once more, he reread the words inside;
Draco,
I hope you can learn to see yourself the way that I see you, with love and acceptance. You are what makes everyday worth it. Constellations are named after you, and each day I can’t help but to be thankful for the sun breathing on you once more. You are my light.
He carefully closed the envelope and placed it inside his bag. ‘They like me.’ the boy thought to himself, ‘someone actually likes me.’
It’s not that the boy was a stranger when it comes to love, but never once has he been perceived as something more than what he truly is. He’s always been Draco Malfoy, heir to the Malfoy throne, son of Lucius, and most importantly a Slytherin. For this reason, he constantly rejected any advances that came from the female students around him. While his rejections came off as rude and cold-hearted, the other students failed to see that Draco, just like everyone else around him, was human too. He was scared of being hurt by the one feeling that he craved the most.
The walk to class was almost unbearable, he couldn’t stop thinking about the letter. He wanted to know the poet behind those beautiful words, the ones that kept repeating over and over in his head as he tried stirring potions or taking notes. You are what makes everyday worth it. He became hyper aware of his surroundings, assuming that he would know when he sees her, but he failed to realize that she was not someone that could be so easily spotted. She came exactly when you needed her to, not by desire alone.
—-
“Draco,” his friend Blaise called to him, “focus.”
“Oh, right.” Draco replied, trying to get his thoughts together as he walked back to his seat. It was the middle of the school week and his mind was only getting more crowded with the thoughts of her. As he sat back down, his friends swarmed him with questions as to what it was that he smelled in his amortentia, assuming that this would be the first step to finding her.
“I can’t describe it.” He sighed, running a hand through his platinum hair in defeat. “She has me going crazy and I don’t even know her.”
“Well,” Pansy spoke up, “I suggest maybe moving on? I mean, if she wants to be anonymous it may be for a reason. Plus, you have hundreds of other girls that would kill to be with you, Draco. Maybe try your luck somewhere else.” She flashed him a sincere smile before going in to hold his hand, but her efforts were cut short as the boy suddenly stood up.
“I don’t want to be with anyone unless it’s her.” He sneered, shaking his head as he turned around and started heading straight to the door. He said a hushed goodbye to his friends before exiting into the crowded hall.
Why couldn’t his friends see that he didn’t want anyone else? He didn’t care about her wealth, status, or looks, all that he wanted was someone that could love him in full. Love him in a way that can’t be tamed, a love that lives long after they do. This was something that he knew he wasn’t going to find any time soon, for as long as he was at Hogwarts he could only be Draco Malfoy.
His hopes were on her.
He walked through the hall, pushing through students that stood in his way as he asserted dominance with a ray of confidence and high ego. Students glared at him but none had the guts to say anything, this fear that Draco instilled was not one that was going to go away any time soon. It was one that he brought upon himself and now had to live with. Somewhere in between his daydreams and the crowded corridor, he felt someone bump into him. Their shoulders collided as his books fell to the floor. The stranger mumbled a quick apology before running off.
In the midst of his anger, he froze. He smelt it. That same scent that clouded him only a few minutes before. There it was, it was her, but just as quickly as he smelled it, she was gone. Only seeing her hair as she turned at the corner of the hallway.
He quickly got up and chased after her, pushing and shoving anyone that got in his way. This was his chance, he was finally going to meet the girl that’s been making him mad, the one that he’s been dreaming of. His heart was pounding as he ran faster and faster down the hall, students staring at him in confusion as he was passing them by, quills and journals flying out of his bag –  but he didn't care, he couldn’t let her get away.
Once he turned the corner, he couldn’t help but feel an overwhelming sensation of defeat. His heart crushed as he stared into the empty hallway.
—-
Two weeks have passed since the day that Draco and her collided. He sat in his bed, holding a brand new letter. The same shade of pink as the one before, with the handwriting that he’s fallen in love with.
“Draco,
I’m sorry for not writing to you. I’ve been thinking of you every day, and I just can’t bear to keep dreaming of you without letting you know that I’m sorry for bumping into you in the hallway. The truth is, I’m scared, Draco.
I’m scared you aren’t going to like me for who I am. I’m scared that writing to you was a mistake. I’m scared that the only way you will ever see me is through these letters. I see you every day, why can’t you see me?
You’re always in my heart, shining above me every night, my constellation. If we remain strangers forever, just know that I’ve never come to love someone like how I love you.”
He was getting restless. Constant possibilities of who it could be running through him, he even considered the possibility that this could be a prank, but no amount of doubt could prevent him from finding her, his hope overpowered all the fear that he had.
Draco sat up once more and started getting ready for dinner. Brushing his hair and straightening out his tie, he needed to look presentable for the off chance that he could be meeting her today.
He headed down into the Great Hall and that’s when he saw it. A pink envelope in the hands of a girl he’s never talked to, but not just any girl, it was you.
He shouted out into the void, but he wasn’t quick enough. “Hey wait!” he called out, as you quickly grabbed your things and ran off once more. He couldn’t see you like this, it wasn’t the right time. Your face flushed red as you ran, your breathing quickening as your legs started to grow tired, but you could not let him find you.
Draco chased after you, he was only a few feet behind but with enough determination you knew you could lose him. As you sprinted through the maze of halls, you started to grow light headed, you knew that if you didn’t stop soon you would faint.
But it’s not the right time
You stopped in front of a random classroom, rushing to open the door before he could catch up to you, but it was too late. He crashed into you, both of you falling to the ground with a loud thump, his hands landing on either sides of you as you laid in between him.
He finally found you.
“Who are you?” He asked, not wasting any more time to get to know the girl who stole his heart. You stared into his eyes, feeling a frog in your throat as you mustered up the courage to finally talk to him.
“M-my name is (Y/N).” You whispered, neither of you breaking eye contact. He smiled, grabbing hold of your hands as he went to pick you both up. You were both nervous, too scared of saying the wrong things, but wanting to say them all regardless.
“(Y/N),” he repeated, looking at you with a face full of love and adoration, “I’m Draco.”
He brushed your hair with his fingers and went to pat the dust off your shoulders. You didn’t know what to say or do, but you didn’t have to.
This was the right time.
“Come along then (Y/N),” Draco smiled, interlocking his hand in yours before leading you back down to the Great Hall, “we have a lot of catching up to do.”

Pansy Parkinson headcannon
Hey lovelies! Here's more Pansy Parkinson content. There is a multiple-part story idea for her currently brewing in my drafts, so do expect it to be published shortly. In the meantime, please enjoy this!
the library
pansy parkinson x reader
reader implied female but doesn't hold any significance at all
warnings: nightmares
Sleeping with her.
Tumblr media
Position
Pansy sleeps like a queen, sprawled over her entire bed (and it's king sized!). She's so used to sleeping alone that when you sleep over you actually have to make a chart and pillow borders so that she doesn't hog all the space.
Cuddling
She loves cuddling so much! Especially to fall asleep. Expect Pansy to tear down the pillow borders and bring you closer to her. You sleep in messy positions, usually with your head in her neck or the other way around, arms and legs twisted in uncomfortable-looking ways. She also likes to be the big spoon and will often cuddle you from behind. Don't expect this bliss to last, though, as once she's asleep she'll go back to her more... primitive habits.
Bed
Pansy has a king-sized bed that could probably fit three people and still be comfortable. She has many, many pillows, most of which always end up on the floor in the morning. Also, there are two plushies on the other end of the bed; one teddy bear from her childhood and one of your gifts, which she cherishes greatly.
Her bed sheets are always matching and she changes their colour based on her mood or the pyjama she chooses to wear for the night (she has an entire wardrobe of night gowns...). She doesn't make her bed in the morning but if you start doing it then she will follow, maybe complain a little but ultimately she's happy to discover your habits and play into them as well.
Dreams
Pansy has a dream notebook where she writes down and draws all of her dreams. Usually, she will tell you about what she saw in the night during breakfast or in bed when you have time. Her dreams are really weird, usually very abstract concepts and situations, like buying waffles in space while Earth becomes a balloon and flies away. What? You are always confused after listening to that.
On the flip side, Pansy sometimes has nightmares that are actually pretty terrifying. She usually wakes up in the night with a scream or a jolt, and instantly seeks your embrace. Hugging you calms her, particularly when you caress her hair.
She isn't just a taker, however. Pansy loves your dreams as well, and something about listening to you tell a random story with your groggy voice makes her so giddy. It's a great way to start the day.
She isn't afraid of your own night terrors, and will go out of her way to soothe you, knowing what it's like. If you need something, she'll get it for you. Cuddles? Come here. A glass of water? Here it is. A late night (or early morning) walk to distract yourself? She's in. Pansy will smother you in kisses and make sure you're fully alright before going back to sleep, even if she's really tired.
Night routine
Listen, if the Slytherin has flawless skin, it's because she has the longest night routine ever. Waiting for her to finish applying her 20+ products is so long! Sometimes you fall asleep by accident and she will wake you up out of spite for not waiting for her. Thankfully, you've found that sticking around in the bathroom and talking is also a great way to spend time, and her masked face will always be hilarious to you.
Pansy will also let you try her products and get you some if you like them. She also shows you how to apply makeup using spells, while you show her all the hair styling tricks. Expect many kisses and smeared lipstick in that time.
No sleep
All-nighters are pretty common for Pansy Parkinson. In fact, even if you love sleeping with her, sometimes you have so much to share with each other that sleep just isn't an option. Come on, let's discuss that thing that happened today usually turns into a deep conversation about your biggest fears in life and why you should totally get a pet. Then, boom, it's morning.
Whatever the activity, spending time with your girlfriend is always a pleasure, and you're always glad to sleep at her place. Next time it's in your bed, though!
