galtean klance au where keith is allura’s guard and like axca or someone is lance’s guard and they’re super protective of their respective royals to the point where axca won’t let lance take anything from his people (he gets annoyed at her and snatches the gifts back from her) and keith won’t let lance into allura’s room despite the fact that they’re literal siblings (lance decides to annoy keith and bang on allura’s door with both hands right by his head until allura lets him in). this causes lance to start a rivalry with keith bc wtf? it’s literally his sisters room? who do u think u are? and starts sneaking away from axca bc she’s very overbearing. the rest of the plot is up to You.

"This is so unnecessary" you whispered to the man sitting behind you. "Everyone's staring." Your eyes scanned over the mass of people in town, as your horse passed through.
You thought you would get your own horse, but Baldwin had other plans apparently, as he just picked you up from your armpits and plopped you in front of him on his horse.
You could feel him smiling from ear to ear. "I think they're just in awe of your beauty. I would suggest getting used to the stares, now."
You rolled your eyes. "Dont flatter me. I know how I look, besides- I was referring to us sharing a horse. Its unnecessary and its why everyones looking at us."
"I think its unnecessary to get another horse for you. You dont know how to ride them, and believe me when I tell you- these horses are wild. I dont want you to get hurt when they kick you off." He teased.
You scoffed. Alright, maybe you werent an equestrian, but how hard would it be to ride a horse anyways? Didnt Baldwin learn to ride one when his right arm was paralysed and he had to do with his thighs mostly to control the horse?
"Still, I couldve gotten a carriage. Or better yet walked? Maybe even ride a horse with someone else-" You quieted down as you felt a pair of lips peck behind your ear.
"Dont even think about it. Why would I let anyone touch you, be this close to my princess-" his arm snaked around your waist and pulled you back closer to him. "Wouldnt you prefer your soon-to-be-husband to help you instead?" He whispered as his hand slowly found its way to rest on your belly, giving it a gentle squeeze.
Heat rose to your cheeks as you pulled his hand away and smacked it when it tried to touch your waist again. "Behave, Baldwin." You admonished with a smile as people looked at you. You dont want to create a scene (especially not one where history would report some lady smacking King Baldwin).
You getting flustered and angry only made him chuckle, as he leaned down to give the back of your head a kiss.
Enough with the PDA already. Arent medieval times supposed to be more conservative?
Ugh. Your lips formed into a thin line. Maybe he'll back off when you reach Salauddin and he sees how other Muslims act.
With some entourage accompanying you guys, you travelled away from the kingdom for almost an hour or so until you crossed that one sand dune beyond which Salauddin and his people were camping.
Before reaching the dessert, you had asked Baldwin if he had something that you could cover yourself up with. You want to adhere to the customs and not accidentally piss off one of the greatest Muslim rulers. Sure, you could've worn something more concealing before leaving the castle, but neither of you wanted people to know that you two were going to meet Salauddin.
Baldwin nodded and in one swift motion, he had removed his cloak and wrapped it around you, bringing the hood over you.
"But- what about you?" you looked back at him with wide eyes. People didnt just wear full length clothes back then just because of modesty, but also to protect their skin from sun damage.
He smiled. "I'll be fine, princess." No, you wont. And you're not risking yet another historical change by having the king of Jerusalem getting skin cancer.
Immediately, you tore off the bottom of your tunic and made a keffiyeh (a headdress) which covered both his head and his face. "There, now we can go."
From the keffiyeh, only his eyes were visible, which crinkled up. "Did you cover me up because you dont want women staring at me in awe?"
"What? Of course not. You just recovered from leprosy. Your skin would be sensitive to the harsh sun and heat of the desert-" He cut you off by laughing lightly.
"Whatever you say, princess. Whatever you say."
As you neared the camps, you saw men dressed in battle armour coming out of the tents, and you from the way he walked, the way he dressed, even his mere presence could make you recognise Salauddin from a mile away.
The horse stopped and Baldwin got down first before helping you down. You followed him as he walked towards Salauddin, who was standing there with his arms crossed over his chest. An erie silence settled all around you, the sound of air whooshing being the only thing audible for a few moments. Salauddin stared into Baldwin, while men from both sides glared at each other, one hand on their swords, ready to fight.
"Salam alaikum." Baldwin spoke first.
Peace be upon you.
You heart dropped for a second when Salauddin didnt reply back immediately. With your hood covering your face, you couldnt exactly see his expressions, only resorting to his body language and sounds to anticipate his mood.
Salauddin's lip quirked up. "Walaikum asalaam." He opened his arms and both men embraced each other for a few moments and you could feel the tension around you finally melting away as men from both sides finally started conversing with each other normally now that their kings were talking amicably.
Salauddin patted his back and raised a brow at you. "Who taught you the keffiyeh to cover that sore face of yours?" Baldwin chuckled. "My fiancee- Y/n, princess come here will you?" You walked closer to Baldwin. "This is Y/n, and we're both here today to invite you to our wedding. Darling, say hi, will you?"
You gulped. "Assalamu alaikum".
Salauddin's ears perked up. "Walaikum asalam. That was perfect pronunciation. Have you been taught by Arab scholars?"
"About that..." Baldwin chuckled nervously. "Y/n, why dont you go there with the ladies? They seem pretty eager to meet you." Salauddin nodded his head and a couple of women, all wearing burqas approached you. "This is princess Y/n. Take good care of her." Salauddin told them as they took you to their tent, where only women remained.
Meanwhile, Salauddin let Baldwin in to his tent.
"So, whats the secret?" Salauddin asked as he sat down, beckoning Baldwin to do the same.
He took a deep breath. "Y/n is... a Muslim."
Salauddin blinked at him. "What?"
"She's Muslim." He repeated. "So could you just tell me about the Islamic wedding ceremony? Nikkah, right?"
Salauddin stared at him. "Are you joking?"
"No."
"You cant marry her, Baldwin."
"Why not?"
"Because she's a Muslim and you're Catholic!"
"So? I havent seen it stop Muslims from marrying non muslims."
"No- only muslim men can marry non muslim women. It doesnt work the other way around."
"Salauddin, thats sexist."
"Its not sexist- nevermind, I cant help you understand it. But no, you cant marry a Muslim woman."
"What if... shes not Muslim?" Salauddin gave him a puzzled look. "I... believe Y/n may be using religion as an excuse not to marry me."
"If she doesnt want to marry you, why do you wanna marry her?"
"She does want to marry me, she's just... confused. Look, Salauddin. She cured me- CURED leprosy. This doesnt happend to anyone. She- she has something holy about her. How else do you explain this miracle?"
"So what? You think God and what- Jesus? chose this girl for you? That they gave her healing hands to cure your disease? You think shes of divinity?"
Baldwin smiled softly. "I do." Salauddin rolled his eyes. "Youre infatuated with her, Baldwin. Its temporary. She performed some magic, or tricks and you think she's divine? Do not make a fool of yourself."
"Then explain how I suddenly got well, Salauddin. Youve travelled the world, you sent me your best Arab healers, you believe in sciences- explain to me how I was cured of my incurable disease."
Salauddin gazed at the young king. "Let me guess, she claimed that she's been sent by Almighty God to cure the King and save Jerusalem, and in return, you must marry her or give her your throne to fulfil some prophecy?"
Baldwin chuckled, leaning back against the ottoman a bit. "Actually, she's been denying that she did anything to help me, she keeps on making excuses to marry me, she avoids my affection- and if I'm being honest, attention." Salauddin's eyes furrowed a bit. What game are you playing?
"Maybe... Black magic?" Salauddin is well aware of witchcraft, its been mentioned by his religion too.
Baldwin shrugged. "She's far too angelic to be associated with that. I'm sure there would be prominent signs if she was involved in any sort of magic or witchcraft."
Salauddin was about to reply but just then, his guards came running in.
"Salauddin! There's a sandstorm coming!" Immeadiately both kings sprung up.
"Tie up the animals! Tell everyone to get in and take cover!" Salauddin barked orders at his men.
The women in your tent were immediately informed of the situation and they quickly started taking measures, with the men outside helping to nail down the tent and gathering the baby animals and children, bringing them inside the tent.
You got up to leave and go to Baldwin, but the women pushed you back down, telling you its not safe to leave.
"The storm is here! You can't leave now!" Well, alright then. You plopped back down on your seat, when you heard someone cry out loud and your eyes immeadiately saw the liquid on the floor.
Of course it was the pregnant lady.
The woman had went into labour and everyone rushed to help her. Everyone but you. Nuh uh, youre not meddling in this time, lest anyone else accuses you of having magic healing hands.
Another harrowing scream pierced through the room, with the harsh winds threatening to blow away the tent adding on to the tension.
Maybe I could just stand near them, just to make sure they are using proper hygiene. Or actually just to see how midwifes worked in the past. Yes, its for science.
You stood near the midwifes, out of their work field because you dont want to be an obstacle. Of course, you may have had caught the sight of the poor woman and her... vagina, which youre ashamed to say has made you sick to your stomach because child birth is not a beautiful phenomenon and fuck this shit youre never having babies.
After almost an hour, the baby was finally out. The stench of sweat and blood and the nightmarish sights you'd caught glimpses of had made you want to throw up when suddenly the enviorment turned gloomy. And it hit you.
The baby wasnt crying.
The mother who was previously crying from labour, was now crying due to a different kind of pain.
You felt for her, you truly did. Carrying a child for 9 months, making sure to take every precaution, not to mention the constant prayers for a healthy baby (and for some, specifically a boy) otherwise the mother would be blamed.
The midwife put the dead baby in the bassinet beside you before tending back to the grieving mother, who was still bleeding from down there.
"Poor Fatima." You heard one of the women whisper to her friend. "To wait for 8 years before she finally conceived... only for her child to die before he could even take his first breath."
Your heart broke as you heard them, the woman sobbed inconsolably. You turned your head to look at the baby in the bassinet and subconsciously, you wondered what went wrong.
Doesnt look like he was choked by the umbilical cord... and he doesnt look cyanotic either, so he probably wasnt dead inside the womb. Your eyes widened. Maybe-!
Your hands went to pick up the baby before halting mid air. No. No. I cant interfere- I cant mess with history more than I already have. I cant save a child who was destined to die-
Your head whipped to the woman who let out a shrill, devastating cry, begging God to let her son live.
Fuck it. You picked up the baby. Maybe this baby was destined to live.
Immeadiately you checked for breathing before putting the baby on a table nearby and placed two fingers on the left side of his chest, starting compressions.
"1. 2. 3-" you muttered under your breath, trying to recall what was drilled into your head when you were attending first aid classes. Pinching the baby's nostrils, you breathed into his mouth, eyes watching as his chest rise and drop. You repeated the compression set 2 more times when the baby finally took a huge breath and began crying.
Picking up the baby, you ran towards the bucket of water and started cleaning the baby's head and face off the mix of blood and amniotic fluid, while massaging his back and his feet to encourage him to breathe on his own.
After a few minutes, you turned around to cover the baby with a cloth swaddling him up nicely and thats when you finally looked around you.
Everyone was staring at you in shock, the sound of the baby crying echoing the silence.
Shit. You rocked the baby gently as you handed him to his mother, who also looked at you in shock with tear streaks on her cheeks. I hope... they didnt see me do CPR.
Yes, damage control. Thats what you need to do. You cleared your throat. "Um- yes, Allah has blessed you with a beautiful son. Lets be grateful to Him." And the women slowly began talking again and agreeing, some saying that they'll go give sadaqah (charity to please God) while others were going to go pray.
When you turned around, you saw Baldwin and Salauddin standing at the entrance of the tent, the former having a beaming smile while the latter looked in surprise.
Maybe it was the stench of sweat and blood in the room, maybe it was emotional situation you went through (high key nauseating), or maybe it was the mix of amniotic fluid and blood on your mouth from when you saved the baby, but the next moment, you lost consciousness.
-
When you woke up, you noticed you were in a different, much bigger tent. Rubbing your eyes, you sat up with a groan.
"You're finally awake." You looked up to see Salauddin sitting at his desk in the other corner-
Salauddin? Your hands went to draw your hood over your face but you realised your (or well, Baldwin's) cloak had been replaced with a cotton niqaab that veiled your entire face except for your eyes.
Standing up, you looked in his direction. "Where's Baldwin?"
You heard him chuckle darkly. "He left."
"He left?" You heard him walk over to you, and instinctively you took a step back, narrowing your eyes at his audacity.
He towered over you, face neutral as he looked down at you. His hand gestured to his right, where a chess set was placed on a table.
"Do you play?" He asked, eyes never leaving yours.
Hesitantly, you nodded. He sat down, beckoning you to do the same.
"Ladies first." He let you start the game. "I should tell you though- if you wish to leave out of this place alive, you'll have to win."
What the shit? Is this some sort of psychological game? Or is this actually happening? I mean, people in the medieval times were crazy. Just because he's muslim shouldnt excuse him from insanity.
You picked up the white pawn. "Where is Baldwin?"
"I told you, he's gone." He moved his black pawn. "He sold you to me."
You looked up at him. What? "Focus on the game. You do not wish to know what will your fate be if you were to lose this game." You immediately picked up your bishop and moved it.
Salauddin clicked his tongue as he took your bishop. You moved your pawn again. "Why- why would he sell me? I'm his fiancee." You asked, your eyes never leaving the board. You're playing for your life here.
"Well, when we saw you use black magic to save that baby- oh, I took your other pawn too, mhm-" He smiled as he looked at your furrowed brows. "And then I told him that you cant be a muslim if you were using black magic."
"Black magic? When did I use it?!" you asked exasperatedly as you lost your knight.
"We saw you muttering something when you were "saving" that child." Muttering? When was I muttering? "One of the ladies even said they heard you whisper some repetitive words to a tune too."
Repetitive words-? You wanted to bang your head against concrete when you realised he was referring to you doing compressions to the rhythm of Stayin Alive by the BeeGees. This one is not your fault because the instructor taught you guys that.
"I was not doing black magic. Even so, who are you to decide if I am a Muslim or not?" You moved your other knight.
"I am Salauddin Ayubi-"
"So?" Salauddin looked at you.
So? So? No one has ever dared to ask him questions.
"Your real name is Yusuf. Salauddin is just a laqab, hm?" Your eyes never left the board as you made your move. "Do you think you're above me? Above Baldwin? Above anyone?" You didnt let him answer as you gestured at him to continue the game. "I dont recall you being a prophet. I dont remember you being a caliph even. So, Salauddin tell me what gives you the right to judge if I'm a muslim or not?" You asked as you took his pawn.
Salauddin narrowed his eyes at you, making his bishop take another pawn of yours. You didnt let it deter you as you practically snatched the same bishop of his with your rook. "Just because youre a muslim, you think you have the right to judge me?"
He scoffed at your words, making his move but you took yet another black pawn. "I am a Muslim. I was born in a Muslim family-"
"Exactly." You took more of his black pawns as he took your white ones. The board was mostly empty now. "You were born in a Muslim family. Do you honestly believe your Lord is happy with you because you were born in the right family? Is that the essence of what being a Muslim is?" Salauddin now looked at you but you didnt let your eyes stray away from the chess board. "Are you a Muslim because you were born in a Muslim family? Or were you born in a Muslim family because Allah knew you wouldnt find your way if you werent? If you were born in a catholic family, youd be a catholic? Lets say you are a Muslim, how do you know youre a good enough Muslim who can judge me? How do you know Allah will let you in heaven when youre on Earth declaring so and so is doing magic and isnt a muslim? Only Allah can judge us, not you Salauddin Ayubi." You stated calmly as you made your final move. "Thats checkmate."
You finally looked at him, your eyes holding satisfaction at his distressed face, though he masked it well.
How you wished to reveal to him that he was playing against a grandmaster whose parents made her take chess as a hobby since she was 6 because they believed it would make her smart and get into good colleges (it did. Thanks mom and dad.)
"Salauddin, we can play chess all you want but dont lie to me. You know I wasnt doing magic, and you know that I know that Baldwin wouldnt just leave me behind. So please, tell me, where is Baldwin?" Before he could reply, you continued. "Remember, lying is a sin."
At this, his eyes finally showed amusement. "He's outside, helping the women sew a niqaab for you. He wants to embroidery a flower in or something." You rolled your eyes at that. Of course, leave it to Baldwin to do cute romantic stuff.
Salauddin leaned back in his chair as he studied you. "So, how did you bring the baby back to life?"
"I prayed to Allah." He quirked a brow at you. "I also cleared his nostrils. They were plugged with fluid, so he didnt know or couldnt breathe with his lungs. Then I just warmed up his body a bit and he was crying- the baby was never dead. You know that no one can be saved from Azrael if Allah has written for that person to die."
Angel of death.
He gave you a nod, though his eyes watched you curiously. "How were you so sure that I knew you were a Muslim?"
You shrugged. "I just did." Why wouldnt you know when he was playing chess with you to check your psychology? Not to mention, he allowed you to be covered with a niqaab even when you were unconscious and let you stay in his tent? If he even doubted that you were a non muslim, you more than likely wouldve been treated far badly.
Salauddin chuckled. Of course, youd keep your secrets. "Then you know that as a Muslim woman, you cannot marry anyone of another faith."
"I dont plan on marrying Baldwin." You scoffed. "I already rejected him and have tried to sway his mind, but hes set on his decision. I think he actually believes that Im an angel or something divine."
He quirked a brow at you. "So he's forcing you to marry him?"
"I wouldnt say force- well, actually I would say that. But he doesnt treat me badly or anything. He's very sweet, even when I avoid him."
Salauddin clicked his tongue. "I could help you." You looked at him. "You are a Muslim, a part of the ummah. I could-"
"No. If youre suggesting starting a war, no." "Well, not a war, youre not that important." Damn. He grinned at your offended eyes. "I meant, I could send some people to sneak you out or-"
"No, if Baldwin finds out youre involved in any way in my escape he would-" you cant risk an extra crusade happening because of a damsel in distress, aka you. It would put the fate of Jerusalem at risk as well as the fate of the Ayyubid dynasty.
Wait. Ayyubid dynasty. They ruled over Egypt, Syria, Palestine, Yemen and so on. But Egypt was the learning center of the Islamic world during this time because they focused on arts and education which meant they hosted the world's greatest scholars there.
"Salauddin, can you get me to Egypt?" The king of Egypt, or sultan of Egypt looked at you quizzically. "I can, but why? Do you have family there?"
"What? No, I'm not running away to Egypt. Look, I just-" you cant explain to him about your escape plan that you were going to use the help of scholars to help you make the tools which you can use to fix your broken time machine. So, you lie. "You're someone who enjoys learning, right? I know you like history and sufism, and I would just love to get to know more about it."
With his head resting on his palm, he studied you. You intrigued him, and although he sensed you had ulterior motives, he agreed. "I cant take you there personally because I am busy here, but I could send you there with some trusted men." You smiled under your veil. This is exactly what you want. And almost as if he could sense your glee, he continued. "Your madly-in-love fiance wont send you alone, or at all."
"Let me worry about Baldwin, and he'll agree because I'm not running away. I'll work on my escape another way in which no one has to die." You said, finally standing up and walking out of the tent to find Baldwin who was sitting with the other veiled women, his eyes focused on the needlework.
"Baldwin." You called out with your hands behind your back as you walked upto him.
He looked up and his eyes practically sparkled at the sight of you. "Princess!" He stood up and immediately went to hug you but you stopped him before he could, nodding your head at onlookers. "Oh right, sorry." He smiled sheepishly, scratching the back of his head, ears turning pink as the women giggled.
He then picked up the niqaab he'd been working on, the blue cloth matched the color of his eyes. "Look, I made that flower." There was embroidery done on the sleeves. And of course, amongst the mass of tiny, delicate pink and white flowers, Baldwin made the biggest, slightly wonky flower.
It brought a smile to your lips. Gosh, he's such a-
You shake your head. No. No. You cant.
"Its beautiful, Baldwin. Thank you." He grinned at your praise, nodding his head as he folded it up. Still holding the embroidered niqaab in his hand, he walked over to Salauddin and shook his head. "We should get going now. Thank you for hospitality, Salauddin." The Kurdish nodded. "Of course. You're always welcome. And if you have any more questions about our traditions and rituals, dont hesitate to reach out to me. Although your wife to be seems quite knowledgeable on the subject herself." Your eyes widened every so slightly. Did Salauddin- did he just acknowledge that you're not as dumb as he thought you were.
Baldwin smiled before leading you towards his horse, helping you get on it.
Salauddin watched as your entourage left, and his mouth twitched.
You have piqued my interest, Y/n. He called his right hand man.
"We still have spies in Baldwin's castle, right?" The man confirmed. "Excellent. Have them find out all they can about lady Y/n. And prepare a small entourage ready to go to Egypt."
"Wont we be staying here, sultan?" The man asked, confused as to why Salauddin would be leaving Jerusalem this early.
"We will, but I will make a short trip in between."
Of course, Salauddin cant just let you go to Egypt alone. The sultan will have to make proper arrangements to welcome you there.
And to find out what you're really there for.
He returned to his tent, his eyes landing on the chess board. Walking upto it, he looked at how you had defeated him.
Salauddin smirked, using his finger to knock down the white king.
It'll be fun to make Baldwin jealous.

Carnival—your favorite time of the year. The only chance for you to leave the cushioned walls of the keep that your father was intent on keeping you in. Sheltered and stored— protected and preserved. You now marvel at the scene outside. Merriment in every corner, cheers and hollers everywhere your carriage passed. “Stay close to your knight… danger lurks even in the happiest of days,” your father warned. You mindlessly nod as you smile at the outside world that you were rarely given a taste of.
As you stepped out of the wheelhouse, your knight in his ever-dark armor waited for you. His hand led out to escort you toward a tent in the middle of the town square. The performers were ready to entertain you and your King father, as well as the others who merrily celebrated the day. “Enough scowling; it is the most joyous of days,” You said to your knight. Ever since he was assigned to you, he had been overly serious— overly protective. Entirely strict and hard to be rid of, never leaving you out of his sight, not even for a moment. His eye always trailed and followed your every move in case the danger you doubted would occur finally happened. “It is as well the most dangerous of days there is, princess.” He answered stoically. Eye passing through the crowd, searching for any threats.
“You often speak of danger, but there is clearly none. Try to enjoy yourself… you are still a man who feels under all that armor, yes?” You asked, your gaze flying upwards to the knight who stood by your right. You gazed up at him, searching for his eye through visor. When you locked upon his unique lilac eye, you dare say you saw a hint of mirth in them.
When the performances began, you lost yourself in the scenes before you. Actors that were so greatly gifted in their talents, for they have managed to sway your mind and made you believe that all the stories they told were true. However, at times, you would hear Aemond scoff his disagreement at a scene. You were glad of his annoyance and disagreement because it meant that he as well, did watch the performance.
When it was time for your father to name the victorious performers who had the most believable presentation, the king stood, and Aemond, along with another knight, stood behind him in protection—leaving you to be faced with their backs, finally unattended. As all citizens had their gazes planted on their king, you, for the first time in your life, did something you were not supposed to do. You indulged yourself and escaped their almost suffocating hold disguised as protection and safety. You have lived in your kingdom for seven and ten years, but the extent of your knowledge of it was the mere castle walls— you intend to change that matter, and you intend to see the kingdom you were to inherit when the time comes.
Aemond moved his head behind to look upon you once more, but he felt his stomach pit as the seat meant for you was now empty. The cloak you wore as you exited the wheelhouse was gone as well. Aemond turned to the king who now realized you were now gone. “Find her quickly.” The king gritted, hoping none notice your escape, fearing that his sheltered child would be made a prey by the small folk. “Now!” The king roared, and Aemond quickly ran to his steed and searched for you, the princess.
You walked the streets of your kingdom, your hood covering you from exposure. Everything was almost so unfamiliar to you, but you find your blood spiking in thrill for all the experiences you were yet to discover. You watched as a group gathered, and your curiosity led you to them. You felt your lips twitch as men used pots and mere objects to produce music. Your gaze went towards the young man in the middle, singing a different and new tune that had captured all’s attention and ears, even yours. His hazel eyes scanned the crowds that swayed upon his song. His hand moved to comb his brown locks, and he winked at a group of girls around your age, making them squeal and blush. You watched as others moved and gave them coins, appreciation for the music they performed.
When their song ended, the group that surrounded them dissolved little by little, and that was when you decided to offer your appreciation as well. Bending down to offer two silver coins, hoping it would serve as motivation for them to continue to perform such a great song. You kept your head low and did not engage with anyone, but still, you were noticed. “Hello,” the young man with a melodious voice greeted. Your eyes moved to look upon him, who gazed at you, trying to make out what you covered under your hood. “Hello,” You said as well, un certain on what to do. “I… I hoped you liked our performance; if you did, we have another one tomorrow night,” he said, still trying to see your face clearly. “I did… it was quite good,” you answered and tried to back away, but a stray dog that passed behind you made you trip and start to lose balance.
Luckily, the young man before you was quick to take hold of your arm and pull you steady. But in exchange for your balance was your cover, your hood falling back and revealing your face. You feel your cheeks heat as realization comes to the hazel orbs of the young man before you. “Your hi—“ You quickly shook your head and shushed him, “Please, don’t,” You said and raised your hood once more, warily looking around to see if anyone else saw you. “What are you doing here? Your hig—“ The young man whose hold still has not left yours tried to call you upon your title once more, but you gave him a pointed look that made his words die on his tongue, a look of sheepishness coming to his face.
“What is your name?” You asked, “Jacaerys,” He answered. You smiled and gave a nod, “I wanted to see the city. They rarely let me outside castle walls,” You explained to the stranger; it was not smart of you, but there was something about him. Something warm and a sense of trustworthiness that made you tell him the truth. Jacaerys raised his brow, “You escaped your guards?” He asked, and you slowly nodded. Before either of you could speak again, you heard the furious gallops of a horse. And almost instantly, your body knew who was to approach. You and Jacaerys turned to see your sworn shield cutting through the crowds in search of you. You thought about running, still wanting to see more, but it was too late as you felt the familiar gaze of his lone eye upon you.
“Remove your hold on the princess, Jacaerys,” You hear him call menacingly. You furrow your brow as to why he already knew the young man’s name. “Un—“ Aemond raised his hand and silenced the boy. Using his other hand to pull you to him. You had no room to argue or plea as you felt Ser Aemond’s hard and rough hold upon your waist, lifting you to mount his steed. You watched as your knight moved closer to Jacaerys, bending down to whisper something in his ear. You watched as the boy’s face grew pale, but you could not voice out your concern or ask if he was well because Aemond moved to mount his horse, sitting behind you and swiftly galloping away. You sat in silence and almost fear as Aemond had his arms around your waist, the two of you riding towards the castle where your father waited with a sermon.
Tumblr media
“Is he angry?” You ask your knight as you neared the castle gates. Hoping he would slow his steed down so you would not be delivered to your punishment so soon. Aemond smirked at your question, taking a deep breath and savoring the smell of you. He let his horse gallop slower, wanting to prolong the time he had you in his arms for a while more. “You escaped during the most crowded day of the year— where all people from the entire kingdom… thieves, murderers, and criminals could go about in plain sight. What do you think, princess?” He asked and kept his smirk as he heard you puff and lean your back to his chest. “You’ll be fine; we both know your father is very lenient when it comes to you,” Aemond tried to console you as he saw the adorable pout on your pink lips. His mind filled with a thought he should never entertain.
You stood before your father in his study. Head hung low in shame. He had not said a word yet, simply stewing in his anger, but you already feel tears welling in your eyes. You hear the creek of his chair as he stands, and that is when the first pearl tear escapes your eyes and lands on the floor. You hear your father sigh, “I have yet to say anything why then do you already cry?” He asked and made you lift your gaze. “I’m sorry!” You quickly said. You could not bear it when he was cross with you; just the slight tone of disappointment in his voice and the look in his eyes was enough for you to cry for forgiveness. “I just wanted to learn more about our kingdom— I wanted to see how our people live and what they do.” You reasoned. That was your main goal when you slipped away. You were only distracted by the song Jacaerys and his group performed.
You looked upon your father, teary-eyed, watching him sigh and shake his head. “You will do no such thing again, do you understand?” He asked sternly, and you quickly nodded your head and left his study when he dismissed you. Outside in the hall, your knight waited for you, ready with a handkerchief to wipe away your tears. “Thank you,” You said quietly, and Aemond gave a nod. His helmet was finally removed, and you could see his straight silver hair gleaming in the evening light. You’ve always been jealous of his hair; you’ve always wanted to run your hands through it, but it was deemed inappropriate, so you never could.
When he accompanied you to your chambers, you had a question in mind. “How do you know Jacaerys?” You asked and paused in your tracks, looking before the knight who had a forever serious look on his face. He stayed silent for a moment, but you kept your expecting gaze upon him. “He is a very distant relative,” He finally answered, and you gave a nod. “Why did you not say you are acquainted with a performer— a good one at that? I have been looking for entertainment. Perhaps Father could invite him and his group to sing a song of two here,” You mused and watched a scowl start to spread on his face. “It is best not to, princess.” Ser Aemond answered. You frowned at the animosity in his voice. “Why not?” You asked. Aemond clenched his jaw at your questions and intrigue upon his nephew. “Good night princess,” Aemond said as you were now before your chamber door. You frowned as he avoided your question but ultimately sighed and entered your room, knowing he would not answer it.
Tumblr media
The following day, as you broke your fast, you found yourself humming the tune you heard the day before. Your mind reminding you of the invitation said that Jacaerys and his group were to perform once more that night. You chewed on your lip as there was a part of you that wanted to watch and escape again. You stared at your knight, who stood still at his post, wondering how to escape him.
Aemond gulped and urged himself not to waver as he felt your steady gaze upon him. He felt his knees grow weak with each passing moment you kept your brilliant eyes on his frame; he felt himself grow warm by the look of concentration on your pretty face. “Is there something you need, princess?” He finally asked. He watched you blink, plush lips parting before him, indecent thoughts plaguing his mind. “I…” You began. Watching as your sworn shield walked closer to you, his imposing demeanor enveloping you. You quite liked that about him— how petrifying he looked and acted, but with the year he was assigned to you, you saw through the cracks of his cold and hard armor, and it revealed softness and warmth. “Can you come with me to the city t—“ You could not even finish to word out your request as he was quick to shake his head. “No.” He said decisively. Aemond bit his tongue as a dejected look came to your eyes, and your lips formed the unconscious pout you always had when things did not go your way. “Please— I swear I’ll behave. I w—“ Aemond sighed and shook his head once more. “No. If your father ever heard about me sneaking you out of the castle— he will have my head.” He said, but you only disagreed. “He won’t! I swear of it!” You said, but your knight only scoffed and rolled his lone eye in disbelief.
“Please! I’ll give you whatever you desire if you take me to the city tonight,” You tried to bribe him. Aemond clenched his jaw as your eyes widened, begging him to agree. His mind, as well, did not miss the bribe you clearly uttered without shame. But he was more shameless, for he agreed. He felt his heart stutter as you beamed at him, bouncing in your seat in joy; his eye caught as your ample chest heaved when you did the action. His mind running with thoughts, his body turning alight. Aemond cleared his throat and returned to his post and willed himself to be rid of such disgraceful thoughts.
Aemond swallowed hard as he had his hand clasped around yours. Him guiding you through the crowded streets of your kingdom. “Your hood,” Aemond warned, pulling you closer to him. He reluctantly brought you back to the street, where you watched his nephew perform. He felt enraged over the fact that the only reason you wanted to leave the castle walls and rebelled against your father’s wishes was to see his bastard nephew perform. He placed you and himself behind the crowd. You urged him to go closer, but you were refused. “I have told you we will not engage with anyone.” He sternly warned.
You did not miss the animosity in his voice once again and how his scowl was deeper. The performance was starting, a folk song made by their group, but your attention was on the knight whose hold now traveled to your waist and held you close and tight to him. “Why are you angry?” You asked. His eye scanned around to see if there was danger. “I am not,” He answered. “You are,” you insisted. Aemond’s jaw clenched as he saw his nephew you spot you two, moving towards the princess in his grasp. You let out a sound surprise as your knight started to drag you through the streets once more, ignoring your call as he made furious steps that you could not quite match.
“Aemond!” You called, and he finally halted, pulling you towards a dark and narrow alley. “Why did you want to watch him? Why did you want to see Jacaerys again?” He asked furiously. You stared wide eyed as you had never seen such fury in his eye. “I…I,” you stuttered in slight fear. “You were willing to endanger yourself— willing to let your father grow angry with you once more, all for him? All for Jacaerys?” He seethed, and you started to see a familiar yet foreign emotion in him. “Are you jealous?” You dare ask. His face was so close to you that your breathing started to mix, and you could see clearly the scar that ran down the left side of his face. “No,” He said unconvincingly after a moment. You raised your brow, “You were fine escorting me out of the castle walls earlier… but once you learned that  I wanted to watch their performance, you grew irritable… are you jealous, Ser Aemond?” You asked even though you knew the answer.
Aemond narrowed his eye at the speck of amusement in your orbs. His face threaded closer, and only now did he grow aware of how flushed your bodies were against each other. He felt his eye flash dangerously as he caught you licking your lips as you gazed at him with your innocent eyes. Your plush pink lips parted again, and the thoughts he tried hard to suppress and ignore were now the only thing on his mind. “You owe me something, princess,” He instead said, pushing his body closer to your frame that was backed up on the alley wall. “I have taken you to the city… now you must give me something that I desire.” You swallowed at the deep tone of his voice, at the dark look in his eye, and how he trapped you to your place with arms. “And… and what is that do you desire? Coin? Something valuable and pretty like jewels, perhaps?” You asked. You watched him smirk and lightly shake his head. “Oh… it is very valuable— overly pretty as well, but no, not jewels, princess.” He whispered. You feel your heart stutter, your breathing caught in your throat as his face inched closer. “Then… then what is that you want?” You asked. You watch him smirk, his hold on your waist growing tighter. “You.” You whimper as his lips pressed against yours. His lips were warm, punishing, and soft.
Aemond wanted to scream at himself— hinder himself, and declare himself mad for doing such actions. To kiss the princess that he had sworn an oath to protect. But as you wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him closer and deepening your kiss, he could not be bothered by his sensibilities. He could not be bothered by propriety as your lips danced against each other. Clinging and never wanting to part. “Oh, Aemond,” You called as you parted for air, but the knight would only let you take one breath before intertwining your lips again— to be lost in pleasure again. “Tell me you want me too,” Aemond almost begged as he parted your lips again. You gazed up at him, lilac eye hopeful and wanting. “I want you, A—“ You could not finish your sentence as he took hold of your hand again and started to pull you out of the alley.
Your mind was dazed as you followed him, as you let him take you wherever it was. It took you longer to realize that you were inside castle walls once more, nearing your bed chambers. He turned to you; his wanting eye filled with lust slowly started to be filled with uncertainty, but you shook your head. He had managed to stir something within you, a burn, a coil inside that made you grow crazed.
You pulled him to your chambers, “I did promise you that I’ll give you what you desired,” You whispered and stood to the tip of your toes to kiss his lips. Your hand searched for his and guided them to undo the laces of your gown. He called upon your name, uncertain as he reluctantly parted your lips, but you shook your head. “I want you.” You said. It was the truth; ever since he was made to be your sworn protector, you could not help but be attracted to him. Him and his handsome scowling face. Him and his cold and rough but gentle touch. Him and his unique platinum hair and alluring lilac eye.
You heard him groan, and you feared he would leave, but you smirked as he placed his lips against yours once more and started to undo the laces of your dress. “On the bed, now.” He ordered, and you obeyed quickly. You were now only dressed in your shift— sheer and light. You were positive he could see every single trace of your being.
You sat by the edge of the bed, anticipating what he was to do next. You blushed as he started to remove his clothing. “Have I ever told you how pretty you look when you blush?” He asked, and that only deepened the color in your cheeks, eliciting a chuckle from him. You feel your heartbeat spike as he walks closer to you, your knight now only dressed in his trousers—a prominent bulge in the middle called for your attention. You sighed as he kissed your lips again, his hand coming to take hold of yours, doing the same as you did, guiding your hand to rest upon the dent in his pants. “Do you feel what you do to me, princess?” He asked, his lips moving to kiss your neck, his hand guiding you to stroke his length. You could only let out a small moan in response.
You took in a harsh breath as Aemond moved you to lie down, anticipation coursing through your veins. “Are you certain?” He asked as his lips hung above yours; you nodded and met his thin lips to be lost in his sweet kisses. You whimper as his hand moves to cup your tit, giving it a firm squeeze, the bud growing taut upon his touch. His other hand stopped guiding yours as it moved to your thigh, him caressing the limb and teasing you with every boring touch.
“A—Aemond,” You called; you wanted more. He hummed and gazed upon your eyes. His right hand is palming your tit, and his left hand caressing your thigh. “Please,” was all you could say, but it was enough as you watched him sink to his knees. Hands are moving to part your legs, bringing more wetness to your cunt with every action he took. “Oh gods,” Aemond breathed as he was met with your cunt— needy and calling for his touch. He shoved away his hesitancy and fears and did what he knew he should have done long before— claim every single part of you. Ruin you for any man, prince, or king to come.
You cried out his name as his lips met with your cunt. Licking, sucking, and nibbling the sensitive skin. Bringing pleasure in all he did. “More,” You called, your hands losing themselves in his hair, finally gliding your fingers upon the silky strands. “Aemond, please— I need more,” You pleaded and whined as he ignored your call, simply continuing his torment on your needing bud and his teasing fingers upon your entrance. “Beg harder, princess.” He hummed, smirking at your cunt as you shamelessly did what he said.
“Please Aemond… I want you— I need you to-to fuck me. Claim my maidenhead; I’m all yours.” Aemond turned rigged upon your words— searing pleasure enveloped him upon your words. He had never heard you so foul, so lewd— so desperate. And it was all for him. You feel your heartbeat stop as he finally moves atop you. You gasped as he ripped away your shift, leaving you bare and perfectly positioned for him to take you. You feel your eyes water as his length, thick and long, starts to break its way through. Aemond closed his eyes tightly at how you felt. You were so tight and warm; the pleasure you provided was almost painful— completely overwhelming him. “Just a little more… you’ll be a good princess and take all of me, yes?” He murmured against your neck, feeling as the tears glide down your eyes. You could only nod and hope the pain would be quick to turn into pleasure.
“So fucking tight—so pure… all for me to ruin,” He growled as his length was finally fully sheathed inside you, finally feeling every single inch of your body. Your breathing turned labor as he thrust slowly, the pain finally turning to the blinding pleasure you sought. Aemond let out an amused breath as he watched you roll your eyes back in complete pleasure; your bite on your lips was so harsh that Aemond feared you would draw blood. “Does my princess like that, hm? Do you like being fucked like a common whore?” He gritted through his own pleasures. Your moans were answer enough. “Louder— let the entire kingdom hear how your knight pleasures you,” Aemond smirked as you still did what he said; neither cared about being found. In reality, he would prefer it, for it will bind him to you.
“Aemond— oh gods, I…I,” you could not find your words as you felt your insides painfully coil, wanting something you were not quite certain of. Aemond hummed and moved his thumb to draw circles upon your nubbin, letting the coil grow tighter. You writing against him, desperate for something you have no words for. “Are you to come, my princess? Are you to come by the pleasure of my hands and cock?” Aemond asked and smirked as you lost yourself, as you could only comprehend his pleasurable actions. He let out a groan as you clenched around him, painfully and pleasurably so. Your knight is on the verge of release as well. His rhythmic and savoring trusts turned sloppy and desperate. “Come and scream my name, princess.” He ordered with one long final thrust of his cock and flick of his thumb. You coming undone by his touch. His groans mixed with yours, neither of you weary as his seed filled your cunt.
He collapsed atop you as both of you came down from the highs of your release. Five words leaving his lips, an oath that he will keep for the rest of his life. “You’re all mine now, princess.”

I think I might have figured out what the Mind Flayer really is.
This theory has been percolating in my brain for a while now; it hasn't really finished baking yet but I wanted to get the gist of it down before The First Shadow debuts.
Let’s begin at the Hawkins National Lab, 6th November 1983. For the second time in her young life, El faces terrifying and deeply traumatic circumstances which cause her powers to lash out and rip a gash in the fabric of reality.
Tumblr media
Meanwhile, across town, Will is doing what every queer 12 year-old has done and finds an excuse to spend an extra moment alone with his crush.
His little gay heart is as aflutter as the garage lights.
Tumblr media
(Strange, that. The lights, I mean -- considering that he's on the other side of town from the lab. Do you suppose the Demogorgon trekked all the way to Mike's house and quietly followed him home again?)
Will heads home, lost in thought as he cycles past the lab. Is he thinking about how sweet his new X-Men #134 is gonna be? Or is he thinking about something even sweeter? The lights flutter again.
And something in front of him notices.
Tumblr media
Will has always been noticeable: his clothes, his mannerisms, his interests -- they've always attracted the attentions of bullies. Now something new -- or maybe something that was always there and is only now making itself known -- has attracted the attentions of a monster.
He runs home, he calls for help, but he's alone, there's no escape. He races to the shed and loads a gun like his father taught him -- but it's not in his nature to be violent. He freezes, petrified.
Tumblr media
The lights surge as his terror wrestles control of his powers and uses them to puncture an escape route in the fabric of reality.
Why were we so quick to believe that the Demogorgon -- a minion of the guy whose whole thing is his inability to open gates -- was able to open its own temporary portals in S1 and then never again?
Will could plausibly have been responsible for every temporary portal in S1: he’s at the Byers house when the Demogorgon pushes through its walls; he's on the run to Castle Byers when Nancy stumbles across that portal in the woods; and he's plugged in to one of Vecna's vines during the finale -- something we see Vecna plug himself into when he remotely opens gates in S4.
Tumblr media
There’s one exception though.
Barb likely slipped through a gate in Steve's pool, but how could Will have opened that one when he was in his bedroom at the time, talking to his mother through the lights?
Let me ask you this: isn't it interesting that of all the injuries Barb could have obtained in her passage to the Upside Down, she got a nosebleed?
Tumblr media
I think powers are more common than we’ve been led to believe, and gates are a last-ditch self-defense mechanism for anyone with powers.
This is why the four curse victims’ deaths opened a gate: Vecna pushed them to their breaking point to artificially trigger the self-defense response. Those headaches and nosebleeds weren't caused by Vecna directly, but by their own powers acting up as they inched towards oblivion.
[Shoutout to @givehimthemedicine's underrated powers and blood theory for the idea of Vecna's Curse being the overcharging of his victims' own powers.]
It was already pretty obvious that Vecna's Curse is a metaphor for suicide, and this theory reinforces it: every kid who gets targeted by the horrors of Hawkins for being "different" tries to find some way to escape.
Tumblr media
Willel's misfortune is that their powers are considerably more easily manifested than the average person's. Byler tells the story of visible vs invisible queerness, but that's just a reflection of the larger theme at play in the show: the visible and invisible ways kids are othered and abused.
Max's trauma was a quiet thing that came from within and festered until it was almost too late to save her... but Willel's trauma manifests as a giant monster that openly hunts them down.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And I'm being literal when I say the Mind Flayer is a manifestation of their trauma.
We know that Vecna fashioned the Mind Flayer from a cloud of black particles he found in the Upside Down, but where did that cloud come from? The Upside Down is a mysterious enough place that it's easy to assume the Shadow is native to that realm... but what if it isn't?
The Mind Flayer is heavily associated with repression -- Will gradually lost his memories while he was possessed, and El lost her powers when the sliver of Flesh Flayer wormed its way into her leg.
But Will has mysteriously been without powers ever since leaving the Upside Down, and we've seen El lose memories too: her memories of surviving the lab massacre, in which she didn't simply escape by opening up a gate, but by disintegrating her attacker into black particles.
Tumblr media
The Mind Flayer doesn't cause repression -- it is repression.
There must have been countless generations worth of traumatized children who took the extra step El did and sent their abusers -- or at least their memories of abuse -- into that hidden realm beyond the gate.
(There's also the possibility that Mr. Time-is-Just-a-Social-Construct is stuck in a time loop of some sort -- maybe the massacre has repeated hundreds of times, and Dimension X is a timeless graveyard of El's attempts to repress her trauma. This would explain why Henry seems to have both disintegrated and survived: we were watching at least two different iterations of the massacre all along.)
Tumblr media
Whichever way you slice it, it's a perfect fit: the tool Vecna uses to perpetuate the cycle of abuse isn't some bizarro alien from an alternate dimension, but a direct consequence of the cycle itself.
The Mind Flayer tells us that escape alone doesn't work as a long-term solution: it might help you survive the initial abuse, but if you don't address the effect it had on you...
Tumblr media
...it will come back to wreck havok.

sweet lil halloween headcanons: modern!roommate!batboys edition 🦇
so in honour of halloween, I have been thinking about what it would be like with the modern batboys and, most importantly, what they would dress up as (or in Azriel's case, grudgingly be forced into)
Cassian's costume especially was the idea of @leafsandstarlight when I got stuck - she delivered, as usual, and I love her for it, even more than usual. mostly bc it's been stuck in my head ever since. you'll see. *grins widely*
happy halloween from this witch to the lot of you 🐈‍⬛🔮🪦
so apparently, Rhys' Halloween partys are legendary on campus
for some reason, so far, that completely went past you
(most likely because you spent the past few Halloweens with Feyre in her tiny apartment, buried in blankets, watching Hocus Pocus while eating your weight in snacks)
so you're a little confused when about two weeks before Halloween, Rhys drags you with him to meet with a caterer
you're supposed to sample food
tho you're never one to complain about something like that, you do feel a little confused when you blink up at him in question, and Rhys furrows his brows
"Wait, didn't I tell you?"
he didn't
he also didn't tell you that this year´s location is an old castle in the old part of town
it's where you meet the caterer, in the kitchens in the cellar
on the way, you freeze in place for a solid minute to gape at the cavernous ceilings with huge chandeliers and stone walls of the halls Rhys is renting for the party
it really shouldn't surprise you that much
it's Rhys after all
extravagant and over the top are basically his middle names
how he managed to snag a spot like that at Halloween is beyond you tho
connections, Cassian later says wisely
and probably a shit ton of money
when, staring at the display of different fingerfoods in various spooky forms, you ask tentatively about just how much money, Rhys sends you a grin that is downright wicked
"Well, someone has to spend something."
and spending he is
over the course of the next two weeks, Rhys disappears for hours, meeting with people for the bar, a DJ and to take care of decorations
then, a week before Halloween, flyers appear on campus
glossy and deep black, with bats and jack'o'lanterns printed on the front along with the date and location in purple letters
it's the beginning you of constantly hearing people plan their costumes in passing
and the moment you suddenly realise that crap --
you have absolutely no idea what to wear
Mor just giggles at your panic
she drops in as you're desperately scrolling through Pinterest, trying to come up with anything that you like, is cheap and can be assembled in under a week
"jesus, calm down. Rhys may make the whole thing the most extravagant student party of the year, but most people that are coming aren't spending loads of money on their costumes either, it's more about creativity and finding something you like."
that doesn't calm your nerves in the slightest
it's Cassian who, purely by accident, gives you an idea in the end
it's a few days before Halloween, and he's sitting on the couch, flicking through the book you left on the coffee table with furrowed brows
"So they're demon hunters?" he sounds intriguied, looking up at you as you lean over him to try and snag your book
you still, your heart doing a double flip
then you start beaming and pull the book from Cassian's hand, pressing a long, smacking kiss onto his cheek that makes him grin
"What was that for?"
it's for him giving you an idea
it's a perfect one really
the evening of Halloween, the city is already dark outside the windows
when you look outside, you can see kids and their parents on the street, dressed up and ringing doorbells, carrying flashlights and lanterns
Mor comes over to get ready at six
she's also the one who always gets up to open the door for children trick or treating
otherwise, she's sitting on the couch in the living room
she's wearing a long, dark red silk dress with a high slit, her hair open and wavy as she squints in concentration and paints her lips
she's dressed as a devil, complete with headband with little black horns that's sitting on the coffee table
she even put in red contacts
you're sitting crosslegged on the other couch, crunching your brows in focus as you spread the lightest shade of foundation you could find in the drugstore on Rhys' face
when he told you a few days earlier that he's going as a vampire, the first thing flashing through your mind was him in a cheap cape and too small fake teeth
it made you snort laughter and him huff
now you get it
Rhys is dressed to the nines
black silk shirt that's almost all the way unbuttoned and shows off his chest tattoos
black dresspants and black shoes
his hair is lightly styled back, and a strand falls into his face as you powder his face, causing him to sneeze and you to giggle
he even managed to get his hands on very real looking fake canines that flash in the light whenever he sends you a grin
no tacky cape
also no sparkles
he's like a modern, expensive version
almost like he stepped right of the pages of one of your books ;)
he lets you pale his skin before using eyeshadows to give him slightly sunken eyes and smear some red paint around his mouth
when he finally sends you a grin, it causes a giddy shiver to run down your spine
Mor does your make-up before, after a look onto the clock, shoos you off to get dressed
when a little later, you step back out of your room, there's a tall figure towering in the doorway to the living room
your breath hitches at the sight of broad shoulders straining against a black t-shirt, black jeans tucked into black boots and amber eyes
they're currently glaring, and it doesn't take a genius to figure out why
or at who
you hear Rhys snort from the living room
"Yeah, there's no way you're going as you."
with the way Azriel is glaring, there's also no way he's putting on a costume
which doesn't surprise really surprise
Azriel really isn't the type to invest time and care into putting together a costume
if things were going his way, he'd probably stay at home and read a book
which of course, Rhys has planned for
when you move, Azriel turns his head
he seems to still, the glare in his eyes vanishing as the deep furrow between his brows, curtesy of his scowl, smoothens
and he stares
stares at you
dressed from head to toe in black, with a holster strapped to your thigh and temporary rune tattoos all over your exposed skin
and suddenly, something is fluttering violently against your ribs
somehow, you manage to send him a cheeky grin and get your legs to moving
they kinda feel like jello as you halt in front of him, having to tilt your head back to look up at him
"Darling?"
Rhys is suddenly smirking in a wicked way that works even better in his vampire getup, his violet eyes twinkling
"You don't happen to still have some of those tattoos, do you?"
it takes you a second to catch on
then your heart suddenly performs a series of dips and turns
"Well...", you look up at Azriel and somehow manage a cheeky, beaming grin, "that would certainly fit."
Azriel huffs
it takes a staring contest of roughly a minute until he accepts his fate
well
or until you smile up at him, something thrumming against your ribs as you crunch your nose
"please? come on, you're not even really dressing up, just - elevating."
you grin widely
Azriel's scowl deepens
(mostly because it's unfair you just have to look at him that way and he would dress up as a pink bunny if you asked)
but he doesn't protest
just rolls his eyes a little and brushs past you to plop down onto the couch
Mor is suddenly very busy correcting a flaw in her make-up you can't seem to find
so it's you who ends up sitting in front of Azriel, his skin warm under your hands as you apply the rune tattoos left all over his arms
you can feel his eyes on your face and try to fight the warmth spreading through your cheeks
at least he doesn't look as huffy as a few minutes ago
(it's hard to stay scowling when all he can focus on is that little crease between your brows as you concentrate and the way the smell of your perfume and shampoo rises into his nose
he's a hundred percent sure there's no way you don't hear the way his breath catches every time your fingers brush his skin
especially when you lean forward to put one of the runes onto the right side of his neck)
you can feel Azriel's warm breath ghost over your skin as your fingers gently press against the side of his neck
it causes your own to get stuck in your throat, right next to your heart
(you should really get that checked)
you try not to look up, because you're pretty sure you're close enough to see the golden spots in Azriel's eyes
and that would not bode well for your concentration
(you're also close enough that your hair almost tickles his skin and that your scent is everywhere
Azriel needs to physically stop himself from slipping his fingers under your chin and tip your head up to -)
you catch movement from the corner of your eye
glad for a distraction, you raise your head
only to grow wide-eyed
because unlike Rhys, Cassian hasn't told anyone what he's going to dress up as
now, you realize why
Azriel seems to realise you're suddenly distracted, because you feel him turn his head before stilling
most likely because he also sees Cassian standing in the doorway
dressed as Ken
the skater version
complete with sun visor over his tied back hair, neon yellow fanny pack and knee pads
he even has a pair of neon pink skates thrown over his shoulder
you blink at him
once
twice
then you snort a laugh and break into a fit of giggles
it breaks the spell Cassian's outfit has cast, and Mor nearly topples off the couch as she starts laughing while Rhys dramatically faints on the armchair
even Azriel looks, tho reluctantly, impressed
(mostly because the way you're laughing, tears in your eyes and barely able to breathe as Mor drops to her knees and bows, makes up for whatever extravagent party Rhys is about to throw your way)
when you get to the castle, the place is decorated magnificently
you suddenly understand why Rhys was gone for so long
the floor is covered by whisps of smoke, the lights are dimmed
there are fake cobwebs spun over the brick walls and high ceilings and even the chandeliers
you count two dozen skeletons in one room alone, and armadas of paper bats dangling from the ceilings on invisible strings
dry ice at the snack buffet in combination with the fingerfoods makes you wonder if maybe Rhys just wanted to give his father a heart attack in case he sees the expenses his son accumulated for a student halloween party
there's even an actual bar with a menu of spooky drinks
loads of people are already there, and it's only getting more
everyone is dressed in various degrees of more or less spooky outfits
Feyre is waiting for you near the entrance
she's dressed as Katniss Everdeen, in black armor and with bow and arrow over her shoulder, a little fake blood dried on her temple and eyes bright
"How the fuck did we miss this before??"
you have no idea
you also have no idea where she got the full costume and how she can look so comfortable in chest armor
you do have an idea tho why Rhys is suddenly looking very distracted
it makes you grin cheekily enough for him to huff down at you when he finally catches you staring at him
you're almost sure tho to see his cheeks gain a little color under the pale make up
especially when Feyre grins widely at him
you spend the whole night with Feyre and Mor
you ransack the buffet (you're very proud of your choices)
try your way through the drink menu
and dance
you sometimes catch a glimpse at Cass in his neon outfit reflecting the lights as he makes his way through the mist
he looks like he's having the time of his life
finally, sometime around two in the morning, your feet hurt and the adrenaline of the night has worn off enough to make you feel tired
also you've lost Feyre and Mor somewhere in the crowd after using the toilet
trying to catch a glimpse at either of them, your eyes instead meet deep, amber ones
your heart dips and swerves in a way that has nothing to do with alcohol or tiredness
Azriel is leaning against a wall halfway across the huge, cavernous room
a strand of dark hair is curving over his forehead, the pink and purple lights make his jaw and cheekbones look even sharper than usual and illuminate the rune tattoos scattered over his skin, fitting in perfectly with his real ones
the sight of him causes something to topple over in your chest
you caught glimpses at him all during the night
usually off in the shadows, leaning against a wall or lounging on a seat, sipping a drink
every time you saw him, there was someone next to him, mostly girls, talking to him, trying to flirt
it made something dip over strangely in your chest
but for some reason, he barely seemed to notice
for some reason, every time, his eyes were already on yours, flashing amber in the flickering lights
just like now
the slight crease between his brows that doesn't quite spell uncomfortable smoothens
then he pushes off the wall and starts to weave towards you
again, your heart does a funny little thing
but you push it away and begin to fight your way through the crowd to meet him
when you finally meet, it takes one look at you for the dip of a crease to appear in his cheek
"Home?"
his deep voice makes your skin tingle even through all the noise and the music, and you deflate with a sigh, feeling almost comically relieved
you text Feyre and Mor while Azriel steers you out of the full rooms, his hands on your shoulders
picking up your coats, you feel a happy shiver run over your skin when you step out into the night sky
your breath hangs in white clouds in the air when you huddle up and Azriel offers you the crook of his elbow, his hands in his pockets
and if you take a very long route to get home, wandering through the quiet, cold city and sniffling as you blink up at the bright moon, neither of you makes a comment on it

The King Has Returned
𖤐Pairing: King! König x Queen! Reader
𖤐Pronouns: She/Her
𖤐Warnings: Smut, body worshiping, P in V, kissing, making out, language, fantasy, return from war, badly translated German, mentions of blood and violence
Storytelling while also making love? Why not?
AN: Yes, King König in case you don’t know German König translates to King, so yeah…King King, but Y/n will call him King anyway, therefore König is hardly mentioned
König had came back from a 4 year war and all he wants to do is be with his wife Queen Y/n, who has been taking care of the kingdom before he came home
König was flabbergasted when he saw the changes of the Kingdom and loved seeing his wife come out of her comfort zone
And now he finally gets to be with her for the rest of his life with no problems
——————
Tumblr media
———————
The Kingdom was quiet, and it was bright outside, the Kingdom's Queen took care of them for the 4 years her husband the King was gone at War.
The Kingdom was beautiful, King was new to when it came to learning about his Kingdom, his father barely gave him anything to learn from.
Since König was only 6 when he was crowned King and his father died. So, it was hard for König and when he met Y/n it became even more of a struggle because now he had a wife and her needs to worry about.
But Y/n can take care of herself, she is the daughter of a General and was taught how to defend herself and protect herself as well. And once König left for war, she took care of everything, something King would be very proud of.
"Queen Y/n, the baker has made some more bread and sweets for you and your husband," the Squire for King came around the corner of the Throne room to Y/n going through different fabrics for her new dress.
"Yes, no, no, no, maybe, oh Sean, yes thank you, you can give it to the housemaids, and they'll place them out for us." She smiles.
"Of course, you heard her."
"That one, it's prefect," she smiles and got off her Throne, she thought about walking around town, she patted off the dirt on her dress and walked through the gate.
König had left 2 knights with his love Roach and Horangi. She left the castle and headed into town, where she was immediately greeted by villagers. They gave her things and asked her when their King is coming back? Of course, she doesn't know...she just hopes soon.
She walked through the town with her usual sweet smile and heard some chatting from villagers, she turned and saw them running to the edge of the village.
"Your highness, whatever it is it's not safe," Roach said.
"It's okay, Roach, let's...just go look..."
"Fine but King is going to have my head."
"No, he won't," she smiles as they were able to get the front and saw dust being flung up in the distance, Roach and Horangi stood in front of her as they looked at the distance and saw a black horse and an Army behind the horse and man on the horse, the clothing looked familiar.
"He's back," Y/n and Roach said at the same time.
"THE KING HAS RETURNED!!" Roach yelled, getting the attention of the guy who's supposed to blow the horn to alert the Kingdom.
"King," Y/n mumbled. The horse stopped before getting to the villages edge.
"I'm home..." King smiled as the villagers cheered.
The villagers ran to the Army and King cheering for them. King looked around for his wife, he saw Roach and Horangi standing in front of a Black Smith and saw his small wife standing between them.
He moved his horse to them and saw his wife's happy face. He stopped the horse and helped her get on the back of him.
"Head back to the castle, I have things I need to discuss with everyone."
"Yes sir," Roach said.
King moved the horse and headed to the stables; Y/n looked up at him and kissed the back of his neck.
"I've missed you," she mumbled.
"I've missed you too," he said, grabbing her hand and bring the back of it to his mouth.
"Can you...tell me about your journey?" She asked him.
"I'll tell you once we're at the castle," he said as he stopped his horse, and he got off first and helped Y/n off next. He took his horse to its normal spot and gave him hay and water.
"Come on, honig (honey)." He said, grabbing her hand and taking her inside the castle. He opened the door for her and picked her up bridal style, spinning around and Y/n laughing as it was amazing to have her husband back home.
"Good evening, King," The maids and butlers yelled.
"Good evening," he said back. He looked down at her and smiled at her before kissing her soft lips and taking her upstairs to their shared bedroom.
He placed her on the big King-sized bed and placed his hands on both sides of her as she sat on the bed.
"Nun...was soll ich zuerst mit dir machen? (Now...what should I do with your first), since I'm back?" He asks, she just giggled at him and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Make love to me as you tell me about your adventures."
"Done deal to me," he smirks. He gets on his knees and pushes the bottom of her dress up exposing her smooth knees. He grabbed her panties and pulled them off her. He got back up to her face and kissed her lips again.
His hands went around her back and unbuttoned her dress and pulled it off her slowly. He exposed her full naked body; he licked his bottom lip and kissed her again.
"Holy fuck, I've missed you; I've missed your weich (soft) body, your looks, your persönlichkeit (personality), I've just missed you so, so, much," he smirks before kissing her lips again.
"I think *smooch* you've missed *smooch* me more than I *smooch* missed you," she smirks in between kisses.
"Ist das offensichtlich? (is that obvious)" he said.
He started to move down her lips to her to her chest. Her hands ran through his soft hair and slightly moaned. His hands went up her side and back down to squeeze her ass.
"Gott, ich will dich nie wieder verlassen (God, I don't want to leave you ever again)." He said, while looking up at Y/n. She just giggles and cupped his face.
He got back up on his feet and started to remove his gear, she watched him remove everything and smiled when she saw how much his body became toned over the 4 years he was gone.
"Like what you see honig?"
"Yes sir," she smiles at him. He removed everything, he was naked and on full display for Y/n. He bent back down on his knees; he pushed her legs open having her clit on display for him.
"Heilige Scheiße (holy shit) now I've definitely missed this," he smirks before leaning forward and licking her up between her folds and earning a moan from her.
"Ahh! K-King," she moans grabbing a handful of his hair. His hands roamed all over her body. Squeezing her hips, butt and a bit of her back.
She let out a soft moan and looked down at him, his face berried in her clit. He licked up and down and pushed his tongue, she squeezed around his tongue.
"AH!" He moans, he pulls his tongue out and barely touched his tongue making sure 'it was still there'.
"Jeez honig."
"Tut mir leid (sorry)," she apologizes.
"Tue nicht (don't) that was fucking hot," he said crawling on top of her and started to kiss her lips again.
"Now...my adventure."
"I-I almost forgot," she giggles at him forgetting she had asked about his adventure.
He aligned himself at her entrance and pushed himself inside of her. She gripped the bedsheets under her, but King wanted her to hold onto him instead.
"After I left the...we camped in the forest..." he watched her head go back as she was enjoying the pleasure. "We camped there for probably six weeks...then...we left and...went to the Ghost Kingdom...King Ghost who is a loner by the way..." King laughed and Y/n just giggled at him.
"That's a little mean."
"But it's true...no wife...no one...he's alone...but likes it that way...we stayed in the Kingdom for a year trying....trying..." he couldn't think Y/n's moans were driving him insane, he loved hearing those moans.
"Jeez it's hard to focus with you moaning."
"S-Sorry..." He just shakes his head.
"Don't apologize to me honig...when you moan it's hot, sexy and I've wanted this for a long time..."
"D-Did you think a-about me w-when you were g-gone?"
"Of course, I did," he rested his forehead on hers as he started to move fast and then heard a breathy moan from her.
"Ahhh~ Oh m-my-AHH!" She moans. She gripped his bicep almost for dear life.
"It's been a w-while...I'm a-a little rusty...am I...doing okay?"
"Y-Yes," she moans.
"But anyways...we s-stayed at Ghost K-Kingdom we fought up t-to maybe...f-forty different creatures...ogres, cyclops, t-trolls..." he rested his forehead on hers again. "W-We then moved onto a-a Kingdom in the W-West and stayed there for a few m-months before finally...getting...to...battle-ahhh~!" Both King and Y/n moaned at the same time and came on each other.
König and Y/n fell on the bed and looked at each other laughing it was a while since they've made love to each other.
"I'll have the maids start a bath for us and...we can finish up in there." He smirks.
----------
König pounded more into Y/n's pussy, he was telling her about when he first went to the Lake of Secrets and loved how it shined under the moonlight and sunlight.
"I-It reminded me s-so much of y-your eyes sparkled within the moonlight a-and sunlight."
"Ahhh! m-mein König (My King)." She moans, the water splashed around them, and some escaped onto the title flooring.
"W-What did y-you tell it?" She asks, while looking over her shoulder and stared at him.
"I didn't tell it anything...I-I'm not telling a-a lake some secret t-that's mine and y-your business."
"O-Ours?"
"Yes...because w-what's mine is yours," he kissed her neck, she felt herself about to cum again.
----------
König and Y/n laid on their King-sized bed and she snuggled up to his side, she ran her fingers through his chest hair and looked up to him, his eyes were closed sure, but she knew he was still awake.
"King?"
"Ja meine Königin? (Yes, my Queen)?"
"Have you ever thought about having...ein baby (a baby)?"
"A baby?" His eyes slowly opened.
"Yeah...I'm just asking...I'm not trying to imply anything..."
"I mean...I've thought about it while I was gone but never...thought about it in a while..." he said, looking at her.
"Just think about it...a baby...a little us running around the castle, I just like it...I've thought about before you came home...I just didn't know when you'd come home so we could talk about it..." She sat up and looked at him.
"Well, I'm here now...so...we can try if that's what you want."
"I'm only bring it up to mainly think when you're gone...I won't be lonely, I'll have mini us run around the castle."
"Ich verstehe es, meine Königin (I get it my queen). I mean, I am completely okay with it..."
"Good," she got on top of King and started to kiss his lips and he smirked into the kiss, hands roaming her body once more.
"Oh meine Königin, du bist die einzige Person für mich (Oh my queen, you're the only person for me)."
"Ich bin froh, mein König (I'm glad my King)."

Maybe Keegan having a bad day and reader just give him comfort
Keegan Russ my babygirl... more knight Keegan I'm having a moment with him.
Keegan doesn't push his way into your lady's rooms the way Ghost used to. He's content sitting outside the doors, content not taking tea with the next in line. It's refreshing. You like it for reasons outside of decorum. Reasons you don't think to put words to.
He's alone often, you feel bad for that. It's a lonely position being the princess' personal guard, one you hadn't considered when Ghost was around. Now you're faced with it daily. Keegan trails behind you and your lady, he keeps a respectful distance, he's quiet. When you'd seen him before, with the knights, he hadn't been quiet. He was boisterous, he made jokes and laughed loudly, he egged on his opponents and seemed to have no stop for the words that poured out of him. Except when he knew he was being watched. There were few times he'd spotted you watching him, caught your gaze while you were walking past the training grounds. He always seemed to stiffen around you.
You wondered if he was worried over his behavior, or if he simply didn't like you. You know he must be bored here. Know it in the way he leans around the wall outside the princess' room, know it in the way his eyes always seem to leave your lady to scan the area, know it in the way he jumps to attention when he sees you. You don't blame him. There aren't many threats wandering the castle, it's a boring job when not on the road.
The princess is having a bath, something the servants are in charge of, so you steal out to the corridor. Keegan is watching out the window, his head tipped against the glass, his helm held under his arm. You're surprised by the way the night sky reflects in his eyes, it feels so out of place to see starlight twinkling in such a bored man. He glances your way and straightens. You offer him a smile, try to lesson his nerves.
"I'm taking a break too," You tell him quietly. Keegan's hand hovers as you hop up onto the windowsill, his fingers clenching tight when you settle into your seat. You smile a little more genuinely at his kindness. Moments like these make you wonder if he truly dislikes you, or if it's your own anxiety churning up those thoughts.
He doesn't respond, so you turn your attention out the window. You think Keegan does too, watching the lights from town glow, the twinkle of stars, the soft shine of the moon. It's beautiful, you lean your head against the glass and it all feels so far away. You love your work, love your princess, you really do, but sometimes you wonder if this is all there is for you. You feel the soft tap against the glass as Keegan leans his head against it as well. You glance his way, hoping to catch a glimpse of him watching the stars again, and find his eyes trained on you. If only for a brief moment you hold his gaze, see the softness in his eyes, the draw of his brow, before he looks away quickly.
He stares out the window, not looking at anything in particular, not focused or seeing, just keeping his eyes away from you. You scoot a little closer on the windowsill and again he's quick to hover, quick to be sure you don't fall the short distance to the ground.
You've never seen him up close like this, never been able to lean in and inspect the man that's supposed to be keeping you and your lady safe. He's handsome despite the mask, you'd seen Ghost wear one too, you wonder if it's a requirement for the royal guards. Hiding their features to prevent recognition, and preventing the people they're protecting from being able to identify with them. Faceless soldiers. It doesn't sit right with you. You reach your hand towards his jaw, unsure if you're hoping to pull the mask down, or simply trying to gain any sliver of attention from this man.
Keegan catches your hand easily, his fingers wrapping around yours without resistance. It's an easy catch, you wouldn't fight him on something so small as this, and you move slowly in the hope you don't startle him. There's something in his eyes, something panicked and pained that you can't name. It twists tightly in your stomach, unpleasant in a way you've never experienced.
"I'm sorry," You whisper, you don't mean to, but you can't make your voice come any louder. Keegan blinks, you can see his mouth move under the mask's fabric, can see the way his eyes lose their sharp edge. He presses your hand to his cheek with a desperation you've only seen in grief. He's warm, and you rub your thumb against the fabric barrier. He turns to push his covered lips to your palm, and your fingers curl, eager to hold onto him, to keep this sweet affection close. He holds you there, lets you hold him there, until he lets out a heavy breath. He kisses your palm once more, quick, his eyes shut tight, pained, and releases you.
Keegan pushes off the wall, and pulls his helm back on, a wall between the two of you. You swallow the lump in your throat, and hop down off the windowsill to go check on your lady. Keegan opens the door for you, and you think you see his hand shake.

How Riku has no idea that Riku means so much to Sora
An Analysis through mom
Riku has always been afraid of being forgotten and left behind by Sora. And this is how he is able get manipulated by Maleficent. She tells him his greatest fears, that Sora found new friends and doesn't care about him anymore. She gives him proof letting him watch Sora being silly and argue with Donald and Goofy.
But from day one as soon as Sora is separated, he wants to find Riku. All on his mind is finding Riku (and Kairi too) and when he finds Riku in Traverse Town he is happy and to make sure he isn't dreaming he goes up to him and pulls on his mouth.
Riku is glad he had found Sora and wants to continue to play the role of protector but when it seems Sora can handle himself he doesn't know where he is supposed to fit in. Sora has these new friends and now can handle himself, Riku is afraid of being forgotten.
But throughout kh1 Sora keeps trying to reason with Riku and it's important that his friend sees what's right. And when they close the door Riku tells Sora take care of Kairi.
Tumblr media
COM
He doesn't exactly do that.... The first thing he does is wanting to find Riku. That's on his mind. He ventures through castle oblivion in hopes he can find Riku. And when he faces Repliku he is so happy even though his thoughts of trying to find Riku is almost replaced with Naminé.
This Repliku is bitter about that and upset even saying how Sora never care about that or cared about him (being Repliku). But Riku hates how he feels towards his friend and how he wants his friend still even though he believes Sora has forgotten about him saying, You always have wormed your way into my heart," and Sora is confused by this statement.
And once Naminé tells Repliku to stop and he falls back Sora is completely overwhelmed by what happened to Repliku and what did Naminé do to him. This scene is especially good in the novel where it shows Sora holding Repliku.
Tumblr media
Later Repliku realizes how true Sora's feelings towards him are (how he cares for him as an individual not being a Riku) before leaving, still Sora is sad he is leaving and still wants to find him.
During Rebirth/Reverse when Repliku fades away into darkness he doesn't mind if he fades away but what he actually cares is that Sora remembers him. He doesn't want to get forgotten by Sora or get mixed up with the real Riku.
Kh2
Sora wakes up and forgets everything in Castle Oblivion and still has the same desire to find Riku. Throughout kh2 all on his mind is where is Riku, is he okay, I really miss him. And it's the most precious thing. He integrates Mickey about it and it isn't until Mickey accidentally slip up that Sora is so happy and jumps for joy.
Another time during land of the dragons when he finds out Riku been there he is excited because it meant he is okay and nearby. He didn't care that he might be with the organization, he just cares about Riku. During the novel, Sora talks about fighting Riku was so fun.
And finally when he actually sees him he goes on his knees crying because he misses him and is happy to finally be with Riku. In the novel he states how happy he is to be fighting by Riku's side and is just bashful about this.
Tumblr media
Riku doesn't care that much about himself and thinks less of himself on why anyone would actually care for him. And is surprised when Sora helps him up and brings him through the dark world. He admits in the novel, he is sad Sora is there and didn't want him to fade into the darkness but is glad he isn't alone. Sora seems to precious and important to Riku that he doesn't believe he deserves his friendship.
He is afraid of being forgotten but he accepts that he might not be worth it and as long as Sora is happy that is all that matters. He doesn't realize how much Sora truly cares about himself. They come to the conclusion they both will be okay because they're together.
Tumblr media
RC
Even though it's technically not them in recoded data Riku doesn't believe in his worth after how he messed up everything in the data worlds. Sora is sadden by how little he thinks of himself and thinks he is the only one trying to maintain their friendship.
When Data Sora hears him talking to him in the Olympus Coliseum worlds, he is glad to hear Riku's voice. Even when his keyblade gets destroyed Riku comes in and Sora is just happy that he is there. It means everything to him and he doesn't care that he has no way to fight, Sora was determined to save data Riku
Tumblr media
BBS
Even ten years prior when Terra gave Riku the ability to wield a keyblade, Sora immediately wants to know about Riku. He wants to know who that man was and if he knew him. In BBS it has them both care for each other. Riku admit how important Sora is to him and wishes to get stronger to protect him while Sora blatantly tells Aqua he likes Riku, he is his best friend. He seems to want to do everything with him and wouldn't hesitate to help him from darkness.
When Ven goes to Sora's heart, Riku notices something is wrong and knows how to help him. Without questioning it, he takes his advice even if it is strange.
Tumblr media
DDD
He goes through the exam because Riku felt like he needed to be tested, Sora didn't think either of them needed to. Sora really wanted to take the exam by his side and is a bit sad that Riku isn't there. However through his heart he feels connected to Riku and when things happen Sora knows Riku will be there.
Joshua asks Sora if he wants to give Riku a message, he tells him there's no need because he knows they will see each other soon. On Riku's side he goes through a personal journey of accepting himself despite everything he has done. He doesn't know if he deserves everyone but knows he is lucky to have Sora.
Tumblr media
KH3
Riku still doesn't see the full extent to how much Sora cares about him. Sora just wants to be with him through out the entire game. He is constantly worried about Riku especially going into the dark world. Sora wants to join him. And once they lose connection with Riku, Sora is sad and is like see this is why I should have gone.
And since discovering the Gummiphone being able to talk to Riku, Sora constantly thinks about calling Riku and just telling Riku about how cool this place is, when they went to Fransankyoto.
Riku is surprised when Sora comes in to save him the the dark realm. He's glad he is there but doesn't think much of it. At the pre battle Riku doesn't think he means that much to Sora, he's just like any of his other friends. He talks to Repliku and allows Sora to spent time with Kairi.
However Sora is questioning why Riku is alone there and seems to want to spend time with him. Then Riku and Sora are the only ones left. Sora breaks down. Riku wants Sora's happiness beyond anything else and reassures him with his words something only Riku can do. He feels better but still Riku doesn't think his life is that important and sacrifices himself. The expression Sora makes during this scene tells you everything. Sora is hurt that Riku is too doing this.
Tumblr media
Riku is extremely important to Sora that when trying to recover him, he is floating in Olympus like he is the most important person ever to Sora.
Riku doesn't believe he means much to Sora. He doesn't see how he's the one that Sora just wants to spend time with and searching for. He rather put Sora's happiness before his own and believes in Sora. He let him save Kairi because he believes in him and his own happiness.
Tumblr media
Mom
Riku thought it was Kairi who meant so much to Sora. He didn't believe it was him who was supposed to find Sora. That's why he was so shocked when the fairy godmother told him his dreams were the key and it was him who was supposed to dive to the Quadratum by following Sora's heart.
He didn't realize how important he was to Sora. He kept being selfishly selfless about this. Until he realizes it was him. He is the key. And Riku means so much to Sora, but he doesn't realize how much.
This could be a deep friendship or possibly something more, but he's very important to Sora and Riku just needs to realize it...

𝐁𝐔𝐑𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐃𝐎𝐖𝐍
aemond targaryen x prostitute!reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
rating: 18+, minors dni
summary: jealous!aemond x prostitute!reader; aemond finds himself being pulled in by the most famous woman of the street of silk, but tempers flare when he sees her pay attention to other lords
word count: 2.5k
tags: mature content, sex work, mentions of past chocking, reader being handled slightly roughly in places
note: this is technically a continuation of my one-shot riding a dragon, but can be read as a standalone tbh
Tumblr media
it was rare for a woman of the street of silk to actively look forward to a particular client’s visit. love or affection were things to be sold in this part of town, on a per night basis. those moments spent being so utterly naked, vulnerable with someone, were not supposed to signify any real connection between the parties involved. the women simply played whatever role that was the desire of the one paying, and come morning the reality would set in, leaving behind only a pouch full of coin as evidence. and there was no actress more adept at this theatre, than y/n.
she could tell instantly if a man needed her to be adoring or dominating, have her bat her doe eyes at them or a wicked smile. but the dragon prince had been an enigma to her that first night he had visited. his expression was unreadable, but he was prone to a high temper clearly. there was ice in those veins, yet fire behind that eye. she could sense that associating with him was dangerous for her, for he was not the kind of man who would offer her sweetness and warmth, he was fire she risked immolating herself with.
yet, the next night she was entertaining the brothel’s visitors, she found her eyes searching for silver hair in the crowd. though like most nights, that night too there was a line of men showering her with praises for her beauty, her grace, her charm, and yet she felt unsatisfied. she played her part though, ever dutiful. but as the lord who’s name erased itself from her memory as soon as he tied his pants back on, left her after a tedious session, she stood by her window and stared in the direction of the red castle that loomed over the city.
she wondered if he was sleeping in there, probably on a large, comfortable bed, made up for him by a small army of servants. she imagined he had had a full supper complete with wine, before letting sleep come to him. perhaps he was tired from whatever work had pulled him away from her that morning. or perhaps, she thought with a twisted smile, he was lying in the arms of some fine lady, her fine jewellery placed on a table next to his bed, and her fine clothes discarded to the floor.
she chuckled at her own foolishness, for forgetting where she stood, what part of town, what building. how could she have thought for a moment, that a prince would revisit her? he had his dragons, crowns, and ladies. he had no need for her. he would remain a pleasant memory, a story she would tell the younger girls when they ask her about her heyday, about days when her name decorated the tongue of every noble lord in king’s landing, she thought with a humourless smile.
as she slept that night, she dreamt of dragons, castles and bright fire. seven nights passed, until she no longer held hopes of any prince gracing her with his presence.
those seven nights – aemond targaryen was being torn apart from the inside.
on one end, pulling him, was his desire to remain the dutiful son his mother believed him to be, to stick to that code of a knight that cole was always talking about, the desire to be strong – and strong men were not beholden to the charms of a whore.
on the other, was her scent. he could smell her perfume everywhere. it was strong, sweet, it reminded him of flowers that lined his mother’s gardens. it clung to his clothes, to his skin. he found it inescapable, days passed and yet he felt stuck in the memory of her perfume.
he found himself less focused in those days, a fact which infuriated him even more. eventually he decided that perhaps if he fucked her one more time, he could get this longing out of him.
so he donned his nondescript cloak once again, and his feet took him back towards the brothel.
he did not have to waste time looking for her.
he entered the big salon where he had seen her dancing last time, and sure enough – she stood before him on the same raised platform. she was not repeating her movements from last time, he noted as he hung back in the crowd that was intently watching her. but rather than feeling captivated by the way her body moved, as he had originally been, he was infuriated.
the curves of her body were barely veiled in her dress, and on display for every man present to leer at. he was painfully aware that he was not the only one with a right to see her like this, no, he had no right on her at all. then why did he feel like it was something of his which was being stolen, with the way her hips were moving?
he wanted to pull her off that stage and drag her somewhere far from these men, and was fantasising about doing just that, when he saw one brazen lord rise and approach her. he was instantly on alert, but this did not seem to faze her at all, she only gave the lord a mirthful smile. then, the prince saw the silver coin in the lord’s hand, and when he realised that he was approaching to place it in between her breasts – he saw red.
the next moment the transgressing lord’s face was pressed against the wall, blood spewing out of his mouth since the force with which the prince had grabbed him had most certainly broken a teeth or two. there were shrieks that followed at the scene, patrons scrambling. but the one-eyed prince did not pay heed to any of it. his eye remained on her as his hand dug deeper into the lord’s neck.
she stood frozen, taken completely by surprise at his presence. her breathing had become shallow, her feet planted to the ground as her wide eyes stared back at him. somehow his expression seemed to be telling her that she was in fact lucky it wasn’t her who was being pinned by the prince so brutally.
in his eyes, in his twisted logic, she was equally to blame for this, he determined. she was clearly going to allow this other man to grope her – she had been smiling, seven hells.
the commotion had caused for the madame of the institution to come running to inspect the scene, “my prince! you cannot –” she was a firm woman, had it been anyone else causing her customers to panic, she would have told them off immediately, but how do you do that to a prince of the realm? she seemed speechless.
aemond simply shoved the man to the ground, before reaching for y/n. she did not back away, partly because she knew there could be no escape. but what scared her, was that she also wanted it.
he’d come back for her. against all odds, he had come back.
he grabbed her forearm and took off in the direction of the stairs that he remembered her taking him up last time, throwing a bag of coins in the direction of the madame with a heavy thud.
the tightness of his grip, reminded her of how his hand had felt around her throat last time, and she was guessing that this time too she would be left with a bruise to deal with. she did not protest though, as he dragged her to her room and then threw her to the bed.
he was on top of her, knees on either side of her and one large hand holding both of her own down above her head. when his other hand reached down, she thought he was going to chock her again. instead, it reached to place a few strands of her hair behind her ear.
“that was a wonderful performance. it’s remarkable that you have the stamina to practice after allowing all these men to fuck you every night.” he never had to raise his voice at her, but the danger in his tone was evident regardless. as was the jealousy. “i’m a hard worker, your grace.” she refused to let the fear in her heart show on her face.
“‘your grace’” he mocked her, “not many women of low-birth would know the proper way to address a prince. but i assume having fucked lords all your life, you’d have to be incredibly dense to not pick up a few things at least.” he was speaking the truth, plain and simple. and yet, his directness was cutting at her. but there was something more to his tone, she realised, something more accusatory, as if she had offended him by being a woman of the street of silk.
“noble lords such as yourself are very particular about titles, and i’m a fast learner.”
“yes i know, always looking to please. you did a brilliant job at it that first night, saying and  doing all the right things.” the memory of her insisting he remove his eyepatch when he fucked her was fresh in his mind. that one moment had seemed more intimate to him than lying inside her. she had kissed his scar, pretended to be so…affectionate. “but all of it is for show. the accent of a highborn woman, the exquisite clothes, the sweet words, the tender touches, they all hide what you truly are – a woman rotten to the core.”
“a whore.” she agreed. she had heard much worse insults in her life, but this one twisted inside her like a knife. when he had last been with her, he had treated her with more respect than she had known in her life. he hadn’t used her like an object, to be discarded once its usefulness was over. he had been curious about her, careful in his inspection and not hurried by his own desire. where had that man gone?
“yet that fact did not seem to trouble you when you fucked me last time?” her tongue was bolder than she had ever allowed it to be in front of a patron, but a wounded animal would instinctively fight back. “not all of us were born inside castles, or grew up being spoon-fed by servants. my world is leagues beyond yours, you cannot even begin to comprehend the dangers of it and i do not owe you an explanation as to how i survive in it.” she was suddenly very aware that he already had her pinned down on her bed with his body, and beating her senseless for her impertinence would be like child’s play for him. yet all he did, was stare down at her, his eye cold and emotionless. under its harsh gaze, she finally looked away, turning her neck so she wasn’t staring up at him.
“besides,” she felt a few hot tears roll down her cheeks, “if you cared so much about me fucking other lords, perhaps you should have shown your face here earlier.” if he could display his jealousy in such manner, then she decided that she would not hide her grievance at his seven night long absence either.
aemond knew that he could not have this right over her, the right to feel jealous, possessive. she was not his wife, she was not his in any way that mattered. and he was not hers, either. yet, he realised as the corner of his lips turned upwards, she was trying to claim this right over him, by being upset at his absence. he realised she felt it too, this unspoken pull they had towards one another.
“how many?” he coolly asked, causing her to turn back towards him, confused, “how many men… did you fuck… since i was last here?” he slowly repeated. she swallowed at his question, fearing that one wrong answer could earn her more than barbed words. “nine.” she replied, voice quavering. “and how much did you charge them?” that question threw her for a loop. “5 golden dragons each.”
to her surprise, he bent down at her response, and kissed her neck. “i will break–” his lips trailed further down her neck, “—five bones each—”, grazing her collar bone, “—of every man—”, her chest, “—who took what was mine.” a shudder ran down her back as he sealed his promise by pressing his lips to hers.
this time when he lay with her, she noted that something had changed. their first time, he had been less sure, his inexperience showing. now he was more confident, demanding, rougher with his movements. when his mouth laid kisses on her body, she knew she would find herself littered with bruises the next day. when he gripped her hips as he thrust into her, she felt his grip down to her bone. it was as if he we were attempting to touch every part of her skin that another might have lingered on, and leave his own imprint on each inch.
she too, committed her own small transgressions. she found herself moaning for him by name, with each thrust. gone were the chants of ‘my prince’, replaced with her whispering ‘aemond’, delicately as if revealing an ancient secret. if the prince minded such insolence, such disrespect to his station, he did not say.
neither of them attempted to move once they were spent. clothes long discarded, the prince remained slump with his head lying upon her chest, arms enclosing around her. she stared up at the ceiling, fingers absentmindedly playing with silver hair. “i can’t decipher” she suddenly began to say, more to herself than him, “whether you’re the noble knight, brooding, righteous and disciplined; or, the cruel prince, domineering, violent and selfish?”
most days he couldn’t decide where he lay on that scale either, aemond realised. but he answered instead, “for you, a bit of both.” her lips twitched upwards at the response. that, she could live with, she thought. as he shifted to remove his weight off of her, a small whine involuntarily escaped her. she wordlessly watched him pick up and wear his tunic and pants back on, knowing that to ask him of his plans to return would be of no use. but she did have something to clarify.
“it’s not an act.” he stopped tying the string to his pants, and looked down at where she laid. she was refusing to meet his eye, still staring upwards. “you said my “sweet words” and “tender touches” were an act. they’re not an act when it’s you.” her heart was hammering away at her chest as she confessed. she slowly turned to look at him and add “surely, you must know that.” how could he not see right through her, see how vulnerable he made her? she wondered.
when he looked inside those eyes, he saw an unabashed sense of sincerity. but his expression gave away neither acceptance nor rejection of her claim.
he put on his boots and gathered his things. as he stood by the door, he turned to her, “if i hear of you dancing, or entertaining another man for a single night, i will burn this place down and you with it.”
she smirked at his declaration, “is that a promise?”

King&Prince 6
Nancy was pacing back and forth. Normally, it made Eddie anxious, but since he knew exactly what was on her mind, he decided to let her continue until her short legs tired her out.
"I just-I don't understand you. How can you give him free reign of the castle?"
"He doesn't have free reign", Eddie said.
"Did you put a collar on him? Or cuffs?", Nancy asked. When Eddie shook his head, she continued. "Do you put any sort of spell on him? Or charm?"
"Robin can handle herself. And there's always guards nearby if he steps out of line."
Nancy looked him up and down, then crossed her arms. "It's almost like you have faith in him or something."
Eddie couldn't describe what he was feeling. He couldn't forgive the Harringtons for what they had been doing. But Dustin was right. Unless he could prove that Steve had been directly responsible, it wasn't right to punish him. He could still dislike him, since he definitely benefited from the misdeeds of his family.
And there was a slim chance those hard feelings would ever change.
------------------------
Steve got dressed just in time to hear someone knock on the door.
"Hey, your royal slowness, we haven't got time for you to soak all day. I have actual important things to do."
It sounded like the woman from before. The one who didn't want him. Steve opened the door to her unimpressed face.
"Let's go."
"Without shoes?", Steve asked, looking down his bare feet.
"You won't need 'em."
She led him down the hall, past some windows and Steve got his first glimpse of the outside. It looked...normal. Nothing like the blackened, dead trees, and the dry, salted earth that he'd been led to believe this area was. The trees were wilting, sure, but in the typical way ones did in autumn. There was grass and even people doing chores outside.
Past the castle walls, he could make out something in the distance that looked like a town.
"Keep up!"
Steve tore his eyes away and saw that she was a long ways ahead of him. He jogged to catch up, noting the carpet on the floor. He was suddenly reminded of being very young and still allowed to go barefoot outside his quarters.
"Alright", she opened up a closet that was filled with instruments. "I need these moved over to the other end of the south wing and then polished and shined."
"So you're using a prince as both a pack mule and a maid?", Steve asked, brow raised. "What if I refuse?"
"Then I get our all-powerful king to put a compulsion hex on you and hypnotize you to do it anyway."
"Steve!", Dustin exclaimed when he came around the corner, beaming. "I went down to visit you and you were gone! They set you free?"
"I'm less free and more like free labor, apparently."
"You know you're not supposed to go down into the dungeons, Dustin."
"I see you've met Robin. Don't worry, she's nicer than she looks", Dustin grinned.
"Not nice enough to not tell Eddie what you've been doing. And I'm pretty sure he threatened to tell your mom. Maybe I'll just cut out the middle man", Robin warned.
Dustin paled. "You wouldn't dare."
Robin gestured to the musical instruments. "Help out with this and I won't tell a soul."
Dustin let out a breath of relief. "Menial work? That's it? Between Steve and me, we can knock this out easy."
Steve frowned. "I never said I'd-"
"This spoiled brat probably can't even lift a flute", Robin challenged.
"He knows how to kill a guy like a dozen different ways. Steve could finish this in like ten minutes", Dustin countered.
"Ooh, challenge accepted", Robin turned, ignoring Steve's protests. "I'll be in the second music room. Keep his highness on a tight leash."
Fully roped into it, Steve started hauling instruments. Dustin was talking, but he was thinking of his escape. He had no shackles, no bars. He could find a moment to get past the walls and then...maybe it would be better to sneak to the stables and get a horse first. He dreaded the thought of traveling such a distance with no shoes though. Maybe someone had a pair lying around?
Could he steal a pair in town without anyone noticing? He doubted most townsfolk would recognize him as an enemy prince. Steve was deep in his escape plan strategizing, that he just nodded along and 'mhm'ed to whatever it was that Dustin was saying. That kid could talk to a wall and keep the conversation going, which he was pretty much doing now, talking to Steve.
He barely even noticed that they were done moving things until the woman, Robin, threw a cloth at him.
"I want these shiny enough to see my reflection in them", she ordered.
"Why are you making him do all this?", Dustin asked.
"I'm getting new students tomorrow and they deserve nice equipment."
Dustin's eyes narrowed. "Who?"
"Oh no one you'd know. Except for Mike."
"Mike?!"
"And Max. And El, oh and Lucas and", Robin went on naming people, some Steve knew, others that he didn't.
"Bullshit! There's no way they're all taking classes!"
"Oh they are. And you are too", Robin said while leaving the room.
Incredulous, Dustin followed her out, leaving Steve alone in the room. Alone. They had left him alone. He looked to the open door, leading out into the hallway, then the instruments spread out on tables and the floor, covered in dust.
-------------------
Jeff and Nancy were strolling the halls, discussing how best to prepare for any sort of retaliation when they heard whistling. It wasn't the sound that gave them pause, but where it was coming from. A music room that wasn't supposed to be in use yet. They poked their heads in and saw Prince Steve, whistling a happy working tune while shining a shining a trumpet.
The two of them pulled their heads out, shared a mutual expression of confusion and went to seek out Eddie to report to him, but he was nowhere to be found. That usually meant he was off in town or visiting some other part of the kingdom. Either way, they wouldn't be able to talk to him until he returned.
Steve didn't spend too long rationalizing why he was doing this. He was just biding his time until he came up with a more solid plan. Even though his homeland wasn't really a home, at least no one there wanted to actively kill him. He wasn't safe here and he couldn't forget that. He especially couldn't let his guard down around the king.
Robin remembered him a couple of hours later and led him back to the room he'd first been brought to. Steve had time to actually look at it now. Smaller than his own room but larger than the prison cell. Definitely warmer to. But besides that, it was very minimal and sparse. A bed, a small drawer, and the bathroom. Steve wondered what this room was for. It was an odd sort of guest room.
Robin said something about dinner being brought up but Steve paid it no mind when he realized he'd be sleeping on a bed tonight. He collapsed into it and buried himself in the blanket. He'd be having sleep for dinner.

yes, your highness
Tumblr media
☆ characters: vinsmoke sanji
☆ up next: smoke sesh: stoner!law x reader
☆ summary: sanji has been your loyally devoted knight for over a year now, he knows you like the back of his hand and would risk his life for you without second thought... just how deep does his loyalty run?
Tumblr media
You sat at your window sill, the thin cotton fabric of your dress draped over your body and pooled at your ankles. There was a heavy fog outside, leaving a generous layer of dew drops covering the glass window in your room. The quiet peace of midnight air slowly dragging your eyelids back down.
Knock. Knock.
A gentle knocking on your bedroom door snapped you out of your sleepy lull. Your feet stepped against the cold stone of your floor.
“Hello, Sanji,” you said.
“Ready for our walk? It’s already nearly two hours past our usual time,” Sanji’s warm voice woke you up.
“Oh! Yes! Yes! I’m ready, I just need a few moments to, uh..” you scrambled to your feet, throwing on your white linen undergown and frantically brushing your hair out, “To… get pretty!”
“Doubt you need to change anything,” he mumbled to himself.
After a glance in the mirror, you decided it was good enough.
It was highly inappropriate for you to be alone with a man in only an underdress, but Sanji was your personal guard. He’d seen you in your undergarments before- albeit accidentally, but you were sure he’d have no issues with it. You paused for a moment, considering the risk, but your father was away on business for the week, so against your better judgment, you slipped out the door to greet your guard.
When you stepped out Sanji had to physically calm himself. The sight of something as delicate, as beautiful, as kind as you in such… such improper clothing was more than he could handle.
“Y/n- Are you out of your mind?!”
You giggled, “What?”
He felt himself getting lightheaded as blood rushed to his face.
“Y-you’re barely wearing anything! The things people would say- What if someone sees you dressed like that?!”
“Someone already has,” you pointed out, grabbing his arm and starting to make your way toward the gardens. He sighed, praying you wouldn’t notice his more lewd physical disturbances tightening his pants, and desperately hoping no one else would be awake this late.
“And I’m not the only one dressed improperly,” you commented, gesturing towards his outfit made up of a white undershirt and cotton pants, and of course, a weapon or two just in case.
He usually wore his armor, which he kept perfectly polished, ready to defend you at a moment’s notice, but you both knew that it was an unnecessary formality and that even without armor there was not a person alive who would get past him.
“Forgive me— I did not think metal armor would be necessary for our evening stroll.”
“I like this look better,” you said, “It suits you more.”
A bright pink blush flushed his cheeks, “I suppose I cannot say that I dislike your clothing. It looks- very.. very pretty.”
You smiled, and kept walking, asking him which of your flowers he thought would be ready for picking, what he wanted for breakfast tomorrow, and if he wanted to go into town on the weekend.
He’d been your royal guard for over a year now.
His name was feared throughout the country before he’d taken employment in your castle- he was known across seas as a bringer of death, a terror with a blade, an unfeeling barbarian.
You never quite understood why he- a man of such ferocity and dignity- agreed to your father’s offer, the relatively easy job of guarding a princess.
A generous paycheck? A desire to settle down? You decided it didn’t really matter but you still couldn’t help that sometimes you felt bad that the most you could offer him were flower gardens and afternoons spent reading.
Sanji had always assured you that he was perfectly content in his position.
He accompanied you everywhere. Every day from the moment you woke up to the moment you’d slept he was by your side. You’d had a very liberated childhood, but it was lonely. Your older brothers were too preoccupied with their studies and training, and your father was far too busy to pay you any attention.
When you finally came to appreciate your isolation, you were handed a companion. A man you’d never met to watch your every move and monitor you like a guard dog.
He was a paid companion whose job had nothing to do with being your friend, but still. Company was company. But it felt like too little too late. And it didn’t help that the premise of this companionship was supervision.
The first few weeks, you’d made clear that you didn’t appreciate his presence. Any efforts he made at conversation were ignored or belittled, and he spent most of his time trying to get you to at least acknowledge his presence.
One night, he’d been instructed not to let you leave castle grounds and informed you that you’d stay put in your room for the night. What were you- a child with no ability to defend yourself or make your own decisions? You still remember the suffocating frustration you felt, pacing back and forth around your room while your knight attempted to talk to you as he guarded your closed door.
You’d finally tired yourself out and decided to sit by the window when you had an idea.
It took at least twenty minutes before Sanji noticed that the shuffling and whining coming from the room had stopped.
“Your highness?” he’d called. When you didn’t answer he knocked, “I’m coming in- Make yourself decent if you aren’t already.”
A cool breeze hit him as he opened the door, panic spreading through his body as he saw a trail of tied sheets leading down through your opened window.
He’d found you nearly two miles from the castle, sitting by a stream. You were shivering from the cold, not having bothered to put on shoes or a jacket.
He put a hand on your shoulder, which you jerked forward.
Hot, angry tears poured down your cheeks.
“Leave! I can defend myself!”
He stepped back, not wanting to further upset you.
You turned to face him, “I don’t need a chaperone! I am not a child.”
You had started to yell, and a worried look crept onto his face. He raised his hands, trying to urge you to be quiet.
You scoffed, “You’re telling me to be quiet? How dare you- I am a princess-”
A branch snapped and Sanji’s blade was drawn within seconds.
Fear froze you in place, the hairs on your neck raising.
“Get behind me.”
You obeyed without a second thought.
“Stay here. Don’t move.”
He walked in the direction of the sound, leaving you where you stood.
Your breathing quickened. Thick forest surrounded the castle and countless animals lived there- it was probably just a bear, you’d told yourself. Yet, a persistent nagging feeling had you looking around, nervous something was going to pop out at any moment.
Another moment of unbearable silence passed. And another.
You wanted to call out for him but you knew better.
Suddenly the sound of metal against metal echoed out from where Sanji had disappeared.
Your breath hitched and you felt your stomach sink- you knew he was strong but… what if?
The struggle continued for a few moments and you stayed put, not daring to move.
Murmuring silent prayers under your breath you waited for him to reemerge from the wood.
From behind you, another sound rang out. The crunching of leaves under a heavy boot.
Your breathing was quick and erratic, as goosebumps flared up on your skin.
You felt a hand wrap around your mouth and pull you back- your scream getting cut midway.
You were jolted around roughly, but felt your captor’s strength falter when he bent down to reach for a bag.
You bit his hand- hard, feeling your teeth break the skin. He let out a cry of pain, but before you could make it far something heavy hit the back of your head.
The last thing you remembered was the sight of a bloodied Sanji, running toward you.
He’d stayed with you for the entire process of your recovery, refusing to leave your side.
When you finally mustered up the strength to ask him what had happened, he simply said that it wasn’t anything for you to worry about and he was happy you were okay.
After you’d fully recovered a few days he apologized for his behavior, “I realize how belittling it must feel to be constantly supervised. If I am ever overbearing, please don’t hesitate to tell me. I wish only for your happiness and well-being.”
You felt immense guilt and frantically responded, “No! No! It was my fault completely I was being childish and immature- You- you saved me. I am forever indebted to you.”
You became more appreciative of your time together after that incident and realized how much you enjoyed his company.
He didn’t speak down to you the way men normally did. He treated you, not just like a princess or a pretty girl with nothing of note to offer to a conversation, but as a friend. You felt valued and seen. He even shared secret information with you and asked for your opinion on his battle strategies.
You became inseparably close.
You’d always been a fan of evening walks, it was your favorite time to pick flowers and the castle’s inhabitants would be asleep until morning.
It helped that you also loved being alone with him. You could speak freely and honestly. There was no pressure to look or act properly. The longer you’d known him, the more you yearned for uninterrupted time with him. To be around him, to talk to him, and be with him was a reward like none other.
He held your arm in his, walking with you toward the greenhouse.
You noticed he was quieter tonight than usual.
It wasn’t uncommon for Sanji to listen to you talk and only offer some insight when asked, but something seemed to be augmenting his silence.
It had been a long day for the both of you, as it always is when your father goes away on business. Leaving things in your brothers’ hands was always a risk he was hesitant to take, and therefore he had begun to include Sanji in the daily responsibilities when he was gone.
He’d been running around all day making sure that everything was in order and exactly as the king had left it.
“Miss Y/n,” Sanji’s voice snapped you out of your daze. He spoke your name with an odd sincerity like he was savoring the way it sounded on his tongue.
“Hm?” You looked up at him, leaving your arm hooked onto his, “You know you don’t need the ‘Miss’. You already speak my name so sweetly, it needs no titles attached when coming from your mouth.”
He ignored your comment entirely. Perhaps you shouldn’t have said that. Did it sound too forward?
“There is something I’ve been meaning to tell you, though I am hesitant to do so.”
You giggled, “You know that you can tell me anything. I am more than happy to listen. It is the least I can do for you after you’ve endured months of my rambling.” He seemed more tense than usual and was avoiding responding or laughing at any of your comments. Your stomach turned, something was wrong.
“Your father- His Majesty has offered me the position of Grand Commander.”
You froze and let his arm go, unnoticed by your guard who continued forward for several steps before noting your absence.
Grand Commander? So soon? But your father easily had over three hundred men to choose from… Why yours? Would he be leaving soon? Who would replace him? The very thought of him leaving made you sick-
“Oh! Has he?!” The disappointment in your voice was evident.
“Erm, yes. I was notified of the opportunity yesterday morning.”
An inexplicable hurt ebbed in your chest. You’d barely see him anymore. It was the highest position a royal guard could be offered, and the greatest honor imaginable. If you ever saw him it would likely only be at ceremonies but even then, he’d be on duty. Aside from a quick glance, you wouldn’t be able to even acknowledge one another.  All the mornings you’d spent picking flowers, the afternoons spent reading and napping with him… Would he remember them?
“That’s fantastic,” You fought back the painful lump in your throat, “Anything less would really be a demotion.”
Sanji lightly laughed.
You couldn’t hold this against him. He was your friend, and should one not want the best for their companions? He had been hand-selected for the Royal Guard and once he’d become a member he had always had his heart set on this position. To achieve it in so little time… You should be proud. A slight pang of guilt spread through your chest at your jealousy.
Was it normal to hurt like this over the loss of a friend?
“I have a week to decide if I’d like the position,” his voice was quieter than usual, more monotone, “His Majesty has allowed time for.. accommodations and such.”
“I see,” you stated.
“I don’t-” he started, seemingly unable to get the words out, “I don’t want to be inconsiderate of your feelings.”
At this, you let out a bitter laugh. By now your contempt was no secret.
“My feelings? I don’t quite understand what importance I have in this decision.
Though I suppose I don’t understand what good an inexperienced knight who spent most of his time in the company of a princess would do.”
Sanji inhaled sharply, turning back to look at you with an unexpected venom in his stare, “You think it was by choice? Do you truly think that I assigned myself to flower picking every morning? That I want to spend my time reading? I am the strongest man in this castle- by far. And to think I’ve spent my time with a girl who’s never had to worry about a single thing in her life!” He spat his words out at you.
Every word he said left a bruise on your heart. But your sadness had long given way to anger.
You walked faster, passing him and ducking beneath vines to step onto the gazebo, but he followed in close pursuit.
“I came here with the sole intention of rising through the ranks. I’ve worked for years, trained for years, and given everything! My entire life has been dedicated to the refinement of skills necessary for the very position I’ve been offered. Do you think that I serve only as an idle companion? That I am only good for accompanying you as you lounge and fret around all day?”
“Then go,” your vision was entirely blurred by tears that you were fighting to keep where they were. You would not cry in front of a man who had wounded you the way Sanji had.
“Go and never let me hear of you again.”
Silence hung in the air, still and heavy.
You bit back sobs, inhaling and exhaling through your nose, trying to keep the flood at bay.
Still, no sound. Sanji stayed put in place.
You whipped your head around to look at him.
“Do not torture me like this. This is what you’ve always wanted!” You raised your voice, anxious and increasingly mad at your confusion, your inability to understand him.
“It has always been what I’ve wanted. But I cannot accept it.”
“Why?! Why not?! Why would you force yourself to stay and suffer with me? Since you have such adamant hatred for your current position?!”
“Because! Is it not obvious?!”
You said nothing. Sanji continued, “ If you are not feigning innocence and truly mean that you do not know then you are a bigger fool than I previously believed.”
You both were quiet. And tears ran freely down your face.
“I have- Y/N, since the first time we met I have felt for you things I’ve felt for no other.
I have loved y-”
“Don’t!  Do not- Do not say that,” you spit the command out with more intensity than intended.
Sanji quickly closed his mouth. He held onto eye contact for another minute before turning his gaze down.
Fuck. You’d hurt him.
No pain was worse than interrupting that sentence, but if someone knew, if anyone found out? You’d never recover from the scandal. A young lady and her knight? You’d be sent to one side of the country and Sanji to the other. You’d really never see him again.
“If I may speak freely,” he started, speaking barely above a whisper, scared that if he spoke any louder he might be stopped, “I never want to leave your side.”
He paused, letting the sound of night fill the closing space existing between you. Somewhere distant there was laughter. The wind picked up, as if on cue, and petals littered the ground. Chills were sent up your spine. The silence was suffocating.
“Every day I would wake you up with tea.
Every night, kiss you to sleep.
I will care for you.
I will make you soup when you are ill and I’ll blow out the candles in the evening so you mustn't waste your pretty breath.
I would forsake my name, my title, and my home.
I will gladly take yours- and, and if you refuse to have me then we can create new ones.
To be yours, to have you-” Sanji paused only for a second, carefully reading your expression. He saw the sadness on your face, the surprise, the regret.
“Please do not ask me to stop now, you know I will heed your every command.
If this is- If this is truly my last chance to tell you how I feel then let me say it all.”
You nodded, allowing him to continue. Your heart tugged wildly in your chest and the pools of tears resting on your eyes began pouring down your face.
“From the day I met you, the minute I took your hand to my lips, the second that I swore my oath to protect you… You have been nothing less than my entire purpose.
To see you laugh, hell, to even have the tiniest chance of seeing you smile, is compensation more than any salary, any honor, any position your father could offer me.
I have thought of nothing, of no one, but you.
Most beautiful, most kind, most loving Y/n.
I love you.”
Your tears poured freely and you ran into his arms, sinking into his embrace when he hugged you. He sat down, bringing you with him.
“S-Sanji, I love you too-” you gasped between sobs, “B-but what if s-someone finds out? We’ll never see one another again!”
He placed countless kisses on the top of your head and rubbed your back.
“It will be perfectly fine,” he said, his voice immediately calming you, “Do you trust me?”
You buried your head in his chest, covering his shirt with tears, and nodded.
He pulled your face up to look at him, wiping the tears from your face.
“I love you,” you sniffled.
He laughed and kissed your forehead.
You crossed your legs and sat between his, bringing your hands to either side of his face.
“I only wish we’d done this sooner,” you said softly, “Then I wouldn’t have had to wait so long for this.”
You kissed him, wrapping your hands around his neck.
His lips were soft and he tasted like rain.
He wrapped his arms tighter around your waist, pulling you into him.
You pulled away slightly, a string of saliva connecting your lips. A soft moan escaped you, driving Sanji absolutely insane.
Your half-lidded eyes and puffy lips had him seeing stars.
Once more he pressed his lips to yours, lightly running his tongue over your bottom lip and slipping it into your mouth.
You moaned into the kiss, sending blood rushing directly to his cock.
He pulled away before it escalated any further, much to your (very obvious) disappointment.
“Shall we return? It is late,” he said, pressing kisses to your cheeks, still holding you.
You nodded, accepting his hand as he helped you up.
He placed a kiss on your hand and trailed them up your arm.
He stood back up and you reached towards his lips one more time, standing on the tips of your toes to be able to reach him.
The walk back was lovely. The air was cool and Sanji held your hand in his for the first half, sneakily adjusting so that he could wrap an arm around your waist.
You talked carelessly with one another.
“And just so you know,” he said, laughing, “Being your guard is no easy work.”
“Oh, I’m sure! Nothing is more strenuous than picking flowers for me,” you responded.
“I’m referring more to the four kidnapping attempts and the singular, dreadfully planned assassination attempt. Aside from the one I saved you from.”
“What!? So it was a kidnapping!”
Sanji laughed, teasing you about your obliviousness, and you simply argued that he must be good at his job because you truly had no idea.
You arrived back at your room and stood at the door. Sanji, leaning against the wall, was silent.
You’d stayed out much later than expected. The background noise of the town had died down, and it felt like the entire world was sleeping. It was cold and the stone floor was like ice under your bare feet.
You both were under the influence of nighttime boldness- that feeling of courage that lets you speak freely so long as it is dark out and you are alone.
“I-,” Sanji spoke.
“I’m quite t-,”
“My apologies, go ahead,”
“N-no you spoke first,”
Sanji continued, “I do really, truly love you.”
“I love you,” you avoided his gaze, hiding the furious blush on your face, “I- I wish I had told you sooner…..” Your voice trailed off.
“It is past midnight,” he mused, “And though I love you, I still have the responsibility of seeing that you are in bed at a sensible hour.”
You laughed, opening your door.
But you didn’t want to leave him. Not tonight.
You walked into your room, lingering at the entrance.
“Stay,” you whispered, “Sleep with me.”
In an instant you felt his arms around you, he was pressing warm, fervent kisses to your neck and cheeks- still in disbelief that it was your soft skin, he felt against his palms.
“You do not know how long or how desperately I have wished to hear those words.”
You blushed and walked him towards your bed.
He sat, looking up towards you, his hands resting on your waist. He looked at you with a flattering adoration, enamored with your presence, wanting to take you in, your smell, your voice, your presence.
“I’d pray to you, you know.”
“And I’d answer your prayer,” you bent down, softly kissing his lips, running a hand through his hair.
Sanji removed his shoes, as well as his shirt, slowly peeling it up and over his head. Your heart skipped a beat, seeing how sculpted he was.
This was to be expected of a man of his skill, but his armor hid it so well that you felt shocked by his form.
You’d never before seen him so exposed. Scars littered his arms and chest, markings of his experience.
You took a seat on his lap, lightly tracing the bigger ones, and pressing kisses to his neck.
His hands ran up and down your back filling you with an eagerness for more.
Silence fell upon you again, though this time the tension within it was different.
This time, neither of you was hiding resentment or yearning for the other. It was a warmer, more indulgent tension. One that you were both desperate to break.
His lips were parted, and his half-lidded eyes looked up at yours with anticipation you had started to feel yourself.
Arousal pooled between your thighs, the sight before you was too much to handle. You bit your bottom lip and looked at Sanji.
“Untie my dress,” you whispered.
He stayed silent but he turned you around on his lap, his strong hands easily picking you up so that your back was toward him.
You savored the feeling of his calloused fingers digging into your flesh.
You were shaped divinely, and he felt pressure start to build in his pants.
He pulled at the bow, letting the string come loose. He pulled the corset backing open and slipped his fingers under your sleeves.
You pulled the dress down and let it fall to your waist, the cool air let in by your open window snapping you out of your dreamlike state.
You were suddenly very aware of your position.
Sanji brought his hands around to your exposed breasts, softly circling his fingers around your hard buds.
You gasped and melted into his lap, softly panting as he created new sensations you’d never experienced. Your skin felt electric, his hot, quick touches blurring your thoughts.
“S-Sanji….,” you whispered.
“Take off the dress.”
His voice had dropped an octave and there was a neediness in his tone that had you melting.
You slowly stood up, letting your clothing fall to the floor, and turned to look at him. You were blushing uncontrollably, the warmth in your body spreading to your cheeks.
You were entirely exposed to him.
He brought your hand to his lips, “Now your panties.”
Your brain nearly burst from the overwhelm this request brought.
Never had you taken orders from him- not unless you were in danger. “I-...,” you did not know what to say, “Could you? F-for me, I mean.”
Sanji nodded, slipping his index finger under the waistband. You stepped out of your undergarments, giggling when he slipped them into his pocket with a wink.
He pulled you closer to him, kissing your lower stomach and thighs, circling just around your dripping heat.
Never in your life had you felt such desperation. He was so close to touching where you wanted, but it wasn’t enough. You let out a whine, earning a chuckle from your knight.
“What commands does the princess have for me tonight?” he asked, looking up with a sly grin on his face.
“Only to do as you please.”
Softly, and so, so slowly, Sanji licked a stripe up from your belly button to your sternum, closing his eyes as he savored how you tasted, how sweet your warm skin tasted on his tongue. You gasped, taking a handful of dirty blonde hair into your fist, not-so-gently trying to urge him downward.
A light laugh escaped his throat as he finally relented.
“Lie down, your highness.”
Sanji guided you down to your bed, leaving his wide hand on the back of your head until it was comfortably rested on a pillow.
He sank to the floor, every so softly parting your legs.
A moan slid past his lips at his view. Your pussy was as hypnotizing as you were, so wet that you were dripping onto the sheets. He watched your hole tighten at the mere anticipation of being touched.
Unable to play the patient lover any longer, Sanji pressed his tongue to your hole, moaning again at your taste.
He ran his tongue up and down your soft folds, savoring your wetness.
You let out an angelic whimper, grabbing a fistful of his hair.
The knight slowly slid his tongue up, covering your cunt in your arousal.
Your grip tightened against his scalp when he reached your clit, it was aching for some kind of stimulation, which Sanji gladly provided.
He lapped at it, simultaneously sliding a thin finger into your hole.
You were already a moaning panting mess under his touch, unable to form a solid thought, only wanting more.
Gradually, he picked up his pace, lewd, wet, slurping noises filling the room, clouding your thoughts. He slid in another finger, feeling your pussy tighten around him even more.
His tongue swirled in lazy circles around your clit, and your stomach started to twist most deliciously. You saw stars. Sanji’s moans and whimpers blending with your own.
“S-Sanji,” you panted, interrupting yourself with your moans, “More.”
He curled his fingers, hitting a spot inside of you that set you on fire from the inside out.
Your back arched against the bed, the coil in your stomach tightening.
His pace picked up, he gave you no time to adjust as you blinked back tears and took everything he was giving you.
In an instant you gushed onto his fingers, soaking your sheets, moaning his name.
Sanji slowly removed his fingers, sucking the liquid from your thighs and hole. He stood up, leaning over you, pressing chaste kisses to your lips.
“Satisfactory?” he hummed.
You nodded, out of breath, and unable to form words. He tasted like you, a tart, salty flavor spreading on your tongue.
“Can you continue? Would you like more?”
Sanji’s own desperation began to slip through his tone, the slight whimper in his voice gave away his bluff.
Eagerly you nodded, “Please, Sanji.”
You watched as he pulled his pants off.
You gasped at the sight, unsure you’d be able to fit him anywhere in you.
Sanji laughed at your amusement, “How flattering, Princess. Don’t worry, my love, we’ll go slowly.”
He rubbed his head against your clit, ever so lightly, so as to only tease you.
You nodded, placing your hands on his shoulders as he lined his length up with your slick-covered pussy.
He bent down to kiss you as he slowly pushed past your puffy lips, his tip slipping in.
You whined as he slid more of himself in, needing a moment to adjust with every inch he slid in.
His muscled tensed and flexed as he used all his self-control to not slam into you.
You bit your lip, nails digging into the muscle of his shoulders, as he picked up his pace, as you took deep breaths and fit more and more of him into you.
He finally bottomed out, a low groan escaping him as his entire length felt you throbbing and pulsing around him.
“T-taking it so well,” he praised, “So tight.”
He started to thrust in and out of you, the firm tug of your pussy leaving him dizzy.
You blushed, the pleasure intensifying as he stared hungrily at you, going fast enough now that every time his hips slammed into yours a loud smack resonated throughout the room.
You writhed around Sanji, moaning into his mouth as he brought his lips to yours, gladly swallowing the delicious sounds you were giving him.
A thin layer of sweat covered his forehead as he neared his climax, his hips starting to falter in their steady rhythm.
He sucked harshly against your neck, leaving your mind hazy.
“Sanji!” you cried.
The sound of his name coming from your honeyed voice pushed him to the edge and with a strained moan of your name he finished.
He gushed inside of you, feeling his seed pouring out and onto your ass and thighs snapped the coil in your stomach and you pulled him against you as you came a second time.
Sanji struggled to hold himself up, not wanting to put all his weight onto you.
He slowly pulled out, watching as your cunt leaked onto the bed. With one finger he pushed it back in.
“How is my pretty girl?”
You were breathless and exhausted. Your hair was messy and your chest was marked with wine red spots all over.
He helped you sit up and pressed a kiss to your forehead.
“Let me know you’re okay, sweetness,” he asked, his thumb resting on your chin.
Your eyes were half closed and your chest rose and fell with deep breaths.
“‘m okay,” you said.
“Wait here.”
You nodded, feeling sleep spread over your body.
Within a few minutes, he was back with a damp washcloth, a glass of water, and a new blanket.
He let you drink as he knelt in front of you, parting your legs and cleaning you up, pressing soft, loving kisses up and down your worn-out body.
“You really are as stunning as they all say you are,” he commented, kissing your thighs, while rubbing your back, “Your beauty is every bit as heart-stopping as everyone believes it to be…”
You laughed, running your fingers through his hair, bringing a band underneath his chin, and bringing his gaze up to meet yours, “So are you.”
Sanji helped you into a new nightgown, carrying you to your window seat while he changed out the blankets.
“We’ll have someone clean that in the morning,” he said, a sly smile on his face.
He carried you back to bed, placing you gently onto the mattress, and bringing the blanket over your tired form.
Crawling into bed next to you, he pulled you into his chest, spooning you.
He kissed the back of your head, relishing in your hums of satisfaction.
A warm silence filled the room, neither of you felt a pressing need to say anything.
“How is my Princess?” he asked.
“Tired…,” you mumbled.
Sanji laughed.
“And in love,” you finished.
Sanji turned to blow out the candles.
Darkness enveloped the room, but Sanji's firm grasp on your body never faltered.
Closing your eyes, you heard soft snores coming from the man behind you.
Perhaps tomorrow morning you’d have croissants with him.
Tired and in love, you slept.

He’s Turned into a Kid Part 3
Tumblr media
Masterlist
Part 1 Part 2
Part three will include Twilight, Warrior and Hyrule.
Content under the cut!
Twilight
The small boy looked around quietly. He was so much smaller than you thought he would be. Curiously, he walked around everyone, taking in what everyone was wearing and what they looked like.
With enough time, of him checking everyone out and everyone staring at him, he reached up and gently ran his fingertips over his ears. “You look like me.”
He then smiles from cheek to cheek, looking so innocently happy. “No one looks like me in my village!”
Oh your heart, you kneel down. He’s taller than you this way, but you don’t mind. You doubt he does either. “Well hello there, young man. Traveling our way?”
Twilight tilts his head, looking around himself one more. You can see the way his demeanor shifts when he sees that he’s not anywhere that he recognizes. “Uh-oh...”
“What?”
“I’ve never been this far away from home before.” He clutches his arm before he turns to you, tugging on your shirt. “Hey. Are we close to Castle Town? Rusl used to go there from time to time. He might be there.”
“Wouldn’t it be easier to just take you straight home?” Hyrule mutters. He’s quickly elbowed by Legend and with good reason.
You’re not even in his era. You wouldn’t know how to help him get back to his village to begin with. But you can get to Castle Town from here no problem. And maybe Zelda would be able to help get Twilight back to normal. Otherwise, this might get very messy very quickly.
You hummed. “Well, what if he’s not in Castle Town? Then what would you do?”
It seems like a dumb questions, but part of you wants to be prepared for that very real possibility (certainty) when you get there.
Twilight didn’t seem to consider that. “Well, then I can take the road like he does. He says that it’s a three day trip from Castle Town to our village. So I would take me a while to get back... but I think I can do it on my own.”
“Have you done it on your own before?” You stand because your knees are starting to hurt from being in that position for so long.
“Well... no...” He looks un certain again.
You nod, sticking out your hand. He takes it without hesitation. “Well let’s try to get to Castle Town first. We need to talk to some people there anyway.”
“We do?” Wild looks around for confirmation from the others.
“Yes, Wild, we do.” You try to stress the words so he can get the hint across. “There’s a little problem that we need to see of the Princess can fix because she’s really good at magic. Right guys?”
“Right.”
“Of course.”
“Naturally. We were already on the way there.”
“See?” You turn back to Twilight. He looks calmer now and he even starts to swing your hand back and forth. “We’ll help you out, ok?”
“Ok!” He smiles back, humming a small tune to himself before he changes his direction with a little skip .”Let’s go!”
You giggle, letting yourself b puled forward as he charges. “Easy! Hey, hold on!”
“This is going to be so much fun! I’ve never been on an adventure before.”
“Well hopefully this is a nice one.” You smile. He was a cute kid.
Warrior
“I’m not supposed to talk to strangers.” Warrior wrings his hands in front of himself, toeing the ground shyly.
Everyone stands frozen at the sight of him.
He’s hardly at the height of your hip and he can’t be any older than seven years old. He’s adorable. It’s not fair.
Warrior shuffles nervously on the spot. He knows that everyone is looking at him. He looks around for a moment before he shyly tugs on your shirt. “Where’s my mama? Have you seen her? She’s really pretty and tall and wears a lot of red.”
You gulp and kneel down to meet his height. “No, I haven’t, honey. Sorry.”
You can see his lip wobble before you put your hands on his shoulders. You smooth down his shirt and brush away the tears that have yet to fall. “Don’t cry. We’ll find her. Don’t worry.”
“She’s probably looking for me.” He tightens his hold on his shirt. “I’m going to get in trouble.”
“No. No, no, no, no, no-” You brush him down a bit more, fussing over him. “We’ll find her and explain to her what happened, ok? You won’t get in trouble. We’ll all friends here so we’ll look after you, ok? We’ll help you.”
“Promise?” He looks up to you with wide, wet eyes and your heart aches.
“I promise.”
“A heartbreaker before he even knows what that means.” Twilight shakes his head. “Using his looks to get something his way.”
“Twilight.” You hiss, turning to him. “Not helping.”
Warrior nods and rubs his eyes with the back of his hand. “Ok... Thank you...”
You nod and stand up again, holding out your hand for him to take. “Ok. We need to make our way to Castle Town. It’s about a day away. Think you can make the trip with us?”
He seems to take courage and nods, taking your hand in his. “I can! I live close by to Castle Town! It would help me get home faster!”
“Ok.” Legend stretches. “But we’d need to talk to Princess Zelda first before we can help you get home.”
He tilts his head. “Princess Zelda?”
“Yup!” You start to walk forward, signaling for the group to start making the trip. “She’s really nice. You’d like her.”
He hums quietly before he shifts to stand a little closer to your side. “My papa says he works close to the princess. He says she’s very pretty... Is that true?”
“She is very pretty. Yes.” You agree readily, mostly to humor him.
“Is she as pretty as you?”
You trip over your own two feet. You turn to look at him, not wanting to make it awkward. Even if you’re incredibly flustered.  “I would say she’s prettier than me.”
“Impossible.”
Many of the others start snickering around you. You turn to give them a mild glare. Warrior doesn’t seem to notice.
“Mama would like you. She likes pretty things.”
You have to bite your lip. “Thank you, sweetheart. That’s very kind of you.”
Hyrule
“My name is Link, what’s yours?” The small child looks up at you with a bright smile. Hyrule got hit with a magic blaster faster than you could call out to him and this was the being who stood in his place.
You stutter out your name with wide eyes. He giggles and adjusts the hat on his head. “That’s a pretty name. It’s nice meeting you. Goodbye.”
“Wait, wait, wait!” You dive to catch his arm. Your action startles him and you’re quick to let him go again. The others around you are equally as startled but offer you no help. You try to catch your breath, taking a knee to match his line of sight better. “Where are you going?”
The boy suddenly eyes you suspiciously. “Why?”
“Why are you alone?” You ask him instead. “It’s not safe to go alone.”
He hums and kicks the dirt under his foot with his toe. “But I’m always alone.”
“They’re right though.” Four offers a little assistance. “It’s not safe to go alone. Do you know how to use a sword?”
The child looks a little uneasy. “...My aunts don’t want me to use a sword. They say that I have o get stronger first. My sisters try to keep me from using too much magic- but I’m really strong now! So I’ll be ok.”
You snap your fingers. “The fairies!” You turn to the others of the group. “Maybe they can help us fix this.”
The small boy takes a step back, clutching his hands over his chest. “I didn’t say fairies-”
“Are there any Great Fairies even nearby?” Legend runs his hands down his face. “It would take a lot to find them. Their fountains can be well hidden enough to avoid detection- not to mention the potential dangers that surround them.”
“We have to try.” You press on. “They might be strong enough to help him!”
Time takes a knee getting close to the child. “Do you know where they are?”
Tiny hands cover a tiny mouth. He shakes his head.
That’s...odd, you think to yourself. Hyrule wasn’t exactly open about it, but he didn’t try to his relationship with the fairies around his home. You tilt your head. “Well that’s ok if you don’t knw where they are. We can look them for them together.”
“You can’t.’ He whispers. He sounds scared suddenly. “I won’t tell you anything. I won’t let you hurt them!”
He turns to run away again but time grabs his arm again. this time he tries to fight back and Time is at a loss of what to do. You dive in, grabbing his legs as he starts to kick. “We’re not trying to hurt them!”
“Let me go!”
“We just need help!”
“I don’t believe you!”
“Enough!” Time booms in what you can only call the angry dad voice. He holds the child close to his chest, keeping him off of the ground. Hyrule stops moving, but he begins to shake, little tears star coming down his face.
You let him go and start to dry his tears and lower your voice to be as comforting as possible. “No one is going to hurt them and no one is going to hurt you, ok? We have a problem and we just want to know if they can do something about it.”
You feel bad but you don’t want him to run off, especially since he’s not where he thinks he is.
He sniffles and Time slowly lowers him to the ground again. “Better?”
Hyrule nods, pulling his hat over his face. He looks up at you with wide, wet eyes. “Promise.”
You hold out your pinky. “I promise.”
He copies your movement and nods. “If you hurt them-”
“We won’t.” You sigh. “Just stay with us for a little bit, ok? Just until our problem is fixed.”
Hyrule whines, stepping forward to hug you. You have no idea why or what’s going through his head, but you hug him back, rubbing what you hope are soothing circles on his back.
“I’ll be watching you.” He tries to sound threatening. “And not because you’re pretty.”
You have to bite back a snort. “Of course.”

Tumblr media
A few years ago two kingdoms decided to unite, building a wall to protect them both and agreeing on sharing everything. With this agreement also came the rule of “arrange the marriage of their second born children at the age of 20” The two of them being born in the same year made it easier for it to be more under control, thanks to their older siblings being already married or out of town.
Prince Jason, from the Craver family, was born in the light of the summer, and with it came his whole personality. He isn’t much of a charming young man, his soft hair shines under every light, even the fire, what’s supposed to be aggressive and dangerous. The boy used it in his favor, lighting his room every time he got a new girl on his bed from one of his famous parties.
From the second kingdom, Princess Y/N from the Willow family was born in autumn, just in time when the trees start to let go of their orange-colored leaves. She was a quiet girl, always surrounded by books, avoiding parties, and helping her mom grow all kinds of flowers. She’s never had a boyfriend, and always tried to keep herself busy until the day of her wedding, which she named “the end of her life”.
She didn’t like Jason, at family dinners, he always had a girl in his arms, he wasn’t polite and he was irresponsible. Didn’t have what it took to be a good prince, let aside the new king. The princess was about to turn 20, in three weeks exactly, she was scared of her future because she had too much more to learn, to see, to experience.
At the start of the cold winter, Eddie was born, the same year as the prince and the princess, his friends always joked about that “If you were born into the Craver family, you would’ve married the princess” he always laughed about that, knowing that only happened in his dreams, one time, after a private Christmas dinner with the Royalty, when his uncle Wayne became the Willow king’s right hand. Eddie was being trained by his uncle, in sword fights, first aid, horse riding, everything to serve as a knight to the Willow kingdom and to keep him close, but the long-haired boy hated it, he wanted to play guitar, play piano, conquer every instrument in existence, he loved music thanks to his mom who unfortunately died when he was a little boy.
Eddie had an innocent crush since that dinner, he was 10 the same as you, and you showed him the piano and started playing with it.
“You should come here and take classes with me, I'm pretty sure you’re going to be better than me. You have talent, Eds” You said.
“She said I can take classes with her, Wayne.” little Eddie begged his uncle to let him go “Pleaaase”
“No way son, you have to start training,” the older man said, with a frown on his face.
Since that day, you never saw Eddie again, but he did, when he gets a little too close to the kingdom and stares at your living room window where you read, every day, at 5 pm. He watches you bite your bottom lip when you flip the pages gently, your fingers rub the words as you furrow your eyebrows, he realizes he is head over heels for you.
It was a Sunday, the air was cold and the clouds were getting in the way of the sun making its light a little bit dim. Eddie grabbed a horse and some grapes, to keep him company while he watched you read, it wasn’t weird, right? He wasn't doing anything wrong, just an innocent act of… spying. His uncle stopped him after hearing the loud steps of the horse.
“Where do you think you’re going?”
“I’m going for a ride, just to clear my head”
“No, you get back here young man” The voice of his uncle was louder, firmer, Eddie whined at the old man with a frustrated look on his face “Did you forget tomorrow you start working for real? We have to get you ready”
“Ready? I’m ready Wayne I just need a little time to myself”
“Nonsense, get back here you have to clean your armor”
They both get back in the little house, Eddie sighed as his uncle showed him the new armor.
“But it’s clean!” Eddie whined again, Wayne eyed his nephew annoyed, and tossed a cloth into the young boy’s chest.
“It’s not, it has to shine,” he said, Eddie sighed again, defeated. “C’mon”
Eddie stayed home that day, the first day he skipped his little spying routine, and thank god he did because what happened that day at 5 pm would’ve broken his heart.
__
“Just one kiss, please?” Jason said to you, getting the book out of your hands and throwing it aside.
“You are drunk at 5 pm? What is wrong with you?”
“Nothing! Just kiss me” he leaned in closer to your face, fingers touching your jaw “We are getting married, don’t you remember?”
“I do, I think about it every day and it makes me so sick, now I have a migraine because of your little tantrum” You push him away, and with all the strength in your body, gravity played a little turn and betrayed you, making you fall on top of him on the floor.
“Are we going to practice?” Jason had a grin on his face, his hands tightening on your waist. You get up quickly at the feeling of his touch, fixing up your dress you leave the room, not after scoffing at him and his absurd behavior.
On Monday, the kingdoms were throwing a celebration in honor of King Craven’s 60th birthday. Everyone in town was celebrating, having a big party for themselves with the excuse of their least-favorite King. The servants were getting the party started, Queen Craven decided to go with a ball instead of a casual dinner, where people from other towns would come to see the castle and have fun with beautiful gowns and expensive jewelry.
After Eddie met with the Willow king and queen, his new job was taking care of their little princess. He was excited about it but also nervous. He’s getting a chance to spend time with you, to watch you for a few more minutes than usual. It was a new sensation for him, some kind of anxiety mixed with enthusiasm, walking around with a heavy metal armor over his body relaxed him a bit, it was making pressure on his chest so his heart wouldn’t burst out, the only ‘bad’ thing was he didn’t have to wear a helmet, he was afraid his grin was too big on his face and decided to look for an empty room to make a little dance of celebration.
Finally one of the doors opens, and thanks to his bad luck he finds your room. You are currently in a large undergarment, looking at yourself in the mirror and making a disgusted face. You didn’t have a corset on because you hated them, but something was off with your self-esteem that day.
“Sorry, sorry i-” he said, stunned to speak at the sight of the beautiful princess. He also dreamed of seeing your body, it was better than his imagination would have pictured. The parts of your naked skin were glowing, he closed his fist trying to keep himself on edge, the desire of touching you, feeling your soft skin with his fingertips, and placing kisses all over you made Eddie turn around quickly, closing his eyes in an attempt to memorize what he just saw.
“Wait! Don’t go!” you said, getting in your dress as quickly as possible as he touched the door handle “Can you tie up my dress? It’s pretty difficult for me since i can’t reach”
Eddie opened his eyes wider, trying to ease his breathing and slowly coming up to you ‘Your wish is my command’ he said to himself.
He nods in your direction and gets closer, you move your hair to one side so Eddie can tie up the dress easier, and with his big fingers, he takes the laces of the dress tightening up a little, and makes a secure knot on your back.
“Please make sure you add a bow, i-it looks better that way” You peek your head over your shoulder for a second, he nods again and tries to make a proper bow, but it turned out nicely than he thought.
He rests his hands on your waist, looking at your reflection in the mirror, you keep checking if the dress looks good and trying to fix some parts of it that look loose. You didn’t mind Eddie’s touch, you knew who he was and what he was doing here (kind of). You were happy inside, you always wanted Eddie as a friend since that night when you were kids, and now you can keep him close, even better, speak to him and get to know him.
“Thank you, Eddie,” you say, getting out of your pool of thoughts.
“You remember me?” he asks, eyebrows crinkled on his face, and you giggle looking at his surprised face.
“How could I forget such a pretty face?” Eddie flushes instantaneously.
“Me? You are the one who looks speechless” you blush, the little flirt game making your heart flutter.
“You think so? I believe this dress has something wrong, do you?”
Eddie takes his time to reply, looking at your reflection again he keeps looking for the mistake you were searching for earlier, but he seems to miss it. He gets brave enough to trace your waist and torso with his fingers, going up from your back and resting his hands on your exposed shoulders, rubbing them delicately. You shiver at his touch, something that you have never felt before, your tummy starts to feel funny and your breath hitches, the boy behind you is quick to notice your little squirm, he laughs at it and gently takes his hands off you, you miss his touch already.
“I don’t think so, it looks… you look really good” he says, giving you a look of reassurance. He misses your skin too, it’s been just a couple of seconds since his fingers ignited with your warm skin and now his hands are too cold for his liking. You turn around in a quick twist, locking eyes with him.
“So… you work here now,” you ask him, getting lost in his chocolate eyes.
“Yes, from now on”
“What do you have to do?” His cheeks feel warm being close to you, now he hates the armor that protects his chest from the warmth of your body.
“I have to take care of you, actually” You are quick to notice he is trying to hide a big smile “Your mom kept talking about your little trips to the outside and she wants someone to protect you”
“You think I need protection?” you cross your arms in front of your chest, Eddie brings his attention to your little act trying to look tough and he gets lost in your cleavage for a minute.
“N-no, I’m sure you are fine” he shakes his head and finds your eyes again “Since you’ve been back without a scratch i know you got everything under control, i mean… she only wants to keep me close to you so she can relax” he curses at himself for feeling so nervous all of a sudden, the fact that he didn’t know about your trips to the woods outside the kingdoms makes his blood boil, he kept tabs on you every day, all day, how did he miss this?
“I’m pretty sure she thinks there are monsters out there” you laugh, covering your mouth with your hand “i only go out to read, sometimes i need to clear my head and be somewhere new, you know?” He nods, he understands perfectly, that’s what he said to his uncle just yesterday.
“Yes, but now I'll be doing my job and watching you” ‘like i used to’ he thinks to himself.
“Alright, i don’t mind you doing your job” You roll your eyes and turn around “I have to keep getting ready, can you wait outside?”
“Yes, of course” he leans his head to the front and you giggle at his movements “I’ll leave you to it”you giggle at his movements “I’ll leave you to it”
“I’ll take a lot of time, you can just go get some food and I’ll find you in the kitchen”
“If you need something i’ll be there, i have to take you to the Craven kingdom in an hour”
“Perfect, i’ll find you there” he leaves your room after listening to your words, you look at him with a soft smile before he closes the door and you run to the bathroom to clear your head.
You quickly realize you miss his touch on your body, the pool on your panties confirms it. You lift your dress and sit on the edge of the bathroom, reaching for your pussy and rubbing your clit over your clothes with your fingers, closing your eyes, and trying to focus on him. His masculine scent comes back to you, remembering his fingers touching you and the way he looked so good in that armor, you made sure to remember he had been working out to get the job. Your imagination takes you far beyond, it was almost as you were listening to his moans, but no, it can be, he is in the kitchen at this moment. Maybe he is eating a tiny cookie with his big hands, crust getting all over his mouth, maybe he is eating a cupcake while he gets frosting over his fingers and he sucks them clean, eating the bottom part while licking at his sugary lips.
But you were wrong, he wasn’t in the kitchen, he came back a couple of seconds after you went into the bathroom. He wanted to ask you something before you had to be in a public space, surrounded by people he didn’t like. But you weren’t there, he got worried for a second until his ears started ringing, recognizing your voice through the bathroom door and your shaky moans. His cock got hard just hearing you breathe in and out with a fast rhythm, he quickly got his hand under his pants and started to rub his dick, moaning at your pretty noises not noticing you could hear him, he managed to run to a bathroom close to your room to release his cum and wash his hands after. You did the same in your bathroom, quickly cleaning your cum so it doesn’t drip onto your clothes.
If that’s how both of you get after seeing each other for less than an hour, it would be worse when you have to be together day and night.

Kingdom Come
Summary: Min Yoongi realizes that despite his efforts of keeping the reader safe, he cannot hide her forever. Tags: yoongi x reader!AU, fluff, angst, smut (prostate play), switch!yoongi, switch!reader A/N: I know I disappeared for six months but a girl gotta work unfortunately. With Yoongi's comeback, however, it made me want to write a period piece inspired by daechwita yoongi. So, here yah go:)
Tumblr media
The tile is cold against your feet. It's not often that you find yourself wandering his home barefoot but when you do, you always feel much closer to the Earth than before. It gives you a small sense of safety, like you're better prepared to exit quickly and quietly should you run into someone you're not supposed to see.
It doesn't take you terribly long to get to his room. Of course you wish you didn't have to sneak, but you understand the consequences if you happen to get caught. How does a king, a ruler of thousands of people, find himself meeting with a woman of your status? A simple baker from the village below, sneaking her way up to the castle every single night to share a bed with him. But that is as far as it goes, as The King cannot publicly share his affection for you.
You remember meeting him before he was King. Before the war.
Your mother was always quick to send bread up to the fortress, and before, the townspeople were welcomed behind the castle walls. You rode your bike high up the hill with your sack full of baked goods to give to the queen. And he always sat waiting for you, in his satin clothing with the smallest smile on his face. He was the reason you didn't mind the trip.
When he was a prince, it was much easier to get away with interacting with him. Both children, both eager to make friends, and both unknowing of the world around them. Rather, unknowing of the two separate worlds you were living in.
When the war broke out and the fortress walls were sealed from the general public, you were effectively separated from him. It wasn't until you were nearing 20 years old when you saw him again, declaring victory as he rode his horse through town. His face bloodied and bruised, and a scar cut deeply over his eye. His victory run stopped abruptly when he saw you, standing just as you would when the two of you were children, with flour on your nose and your hand covering the gasp threatening to escape from your lips.
He was declared King shortly afterward. His mother and former queen becoming far too weakened by the stresses of the war to continue ruling the people. By then you had accepted the defeat of never seeing him again.
That is, until a handmade tea cloth holding together two single roses appeared on the doorstep of the bakery, with a note containing a simple message.
Meet me under the pear tree where you used to sing for me. I'll be waiting.
Your heart raced the entire time you walked up the hill, until you finally made it to the top to see his silhouette in the moonlight. As you approached, he looked over his shoulder and the same small smile from before returned.
"My King." you whispered nervously, bowing. Before you are able to complete the bow, he rested a hand on your shoulder and raised you up.
"Don't do that," he whispered back, "just call me by my name. I am not your King. I am your equal."
Again, your heart raced as your lips parted to say, "Of course, Yoongi."
You shake your head of the memories as you approach Yoongi's door. The usual giddiness that follows you has been lacking lately, your anxiety becoming more and more prevalent the longer that you realize that nothing is going to change. Despite your memories and how much you love Yoongi, you do not want to be his secret forever. You have a life to live. You may want children someday, you may want to be able to cook for him in his own home or even tell your mother that you're seeing him. You know that it's not realistic, but it hurts nonetheless.
So, the hesitancy that has taken over your excitement tonight is no longer a surprise.
Your knuckles softly tapped the familiar beat that the two of you came up with so he knew it was you. Three soft taps, a pause, and three more. You remember him giggling as he told you, "It's like my heart skipping a beat when I see you."
The door opens quickly, and Yoongi tugs you in the moment he sees you.
His hands are all over you in an instant, pushing you against the door while his lips move to trail kisses across your chest. His lips caress yours softly, soaking you in. He's always been quick and quiet in his movements, eager to taste you. Yoongi tells you he cannot live without the taste of you on his tongue.
As he darts his tongue out to lick a small stripe across your neck, he suddenly pauses.
"Are you okay?"
It's not until he says those words that you realize you haven't moved since he pulled you in. You feel yourself relax slightly under his gaze, but you can't help but feel a lump begin forming in your throat.
Yoongi raises his eyebrows in concern before pulling you close to him and leading you to the bed. "What is going on, my love?"
"I- uh," your breath comes out shaky, "Will it always be like this?"
Yoongi sighs. He doesn't ask for clarification because he knows exactly what your worries are. "I don't want it to be."
A single tear drops from your right eye, mirroring the now healed scar across Yoongi's face. Yoongi is quick to reach forward and swipe it away, his hands as rough as ever against your soft skin.
"I don't want it to be either. I don't think I can do this for much longer."
Yoongi's hands drop from around your waist, "What?"
"I don't know how much longer I can be kept a secret, Yoongi." You whisper, your face falling in your hands. Yoongi scoots away from you, and you can feel his body stiffening beside you. It makes your tears become more prevalent.
"You said that you would love me until kingdom come, _____."
You manage to tear your face out of your hands and turn towards him. His back is the straightest it has ever been, and his hands sit tense on top of his knees. It's almost jarring to see him so still, when moments ago he couldn't get his hands off of you.
"And I will," you breathe, "forever. But I have a life too!"
He seems to take your words in for a brief moment, before standing up and taking a seat across from you.
"Do you honestly think that I like having to go through this?" His voice is colder than it has ever been. You're used to him having his guard up but only when he feels someone may be outside listening to you. This is a new territory, but it had to be explored at some point.
"No, I don't think you do either. So why do we do this?"
"Because-" his voice raises slightly but he quickly regains his composure, "Do you know what would happen if the people found out I was seeing a commoner?"
You swallow, "You don't believe I have the power to be a royal."
"I won the war! If word gets out that I made a commoner my queen, you are the first person the enemy would go after should they want to regain power!"
"Oh, so this is all to protect me? Make me feel safe?" you're yelling now, but he is too. He doesn't seem to mind that others may here at this point, which the irony is not lost on you.
"Yes, exactly!"
"So what happens from here, huh? You have to marry at some point, is that when this ends? When your mother insists you find a Princess to marry? Is that when I have to go back and pretend that I never loved you? Watch you from afar, pretend like I didn't know your touch. Like I haven't felt the most intimate parts of you... Like I haven't lived and breathed just for you."
Yoongi's eyes hit the floor. You pull your knees to your chest and feel the weight of your own words rest upon your shoulders. If this is really what will happen, you can no longer do it. Love conquers all, but is it really love if it has to be hidden?
"My love..." he says after quite some time, sitting beside you on the bed. His head rests against the bed frame, "...I just want what is best for you. What makes you happiest."
"Being with you makes me happiest. If I cannot get all of you, then-"
"Then what? You don't want any of me?"
You don't respond.
"After all we've been through, you're willing to throw it all away? Because I'm trying to keep you safe?"
"I want to take the risk! If being your Queen means taking a risk then I'm willing to! I want to love you whole-heartedly, Min Yoongi." You explain, turning towards him.
He sighs softly, mirroring your position, before pulling you down to the pillow. He lays beside you, pulling you close to him. "I'll make you my queen if it means you'll be able to stay by my side."
You smile softly, "There's nowhere in the world that I am safest, than beside you."
Yoongi kisses you, gently. His lips curve into yours perfectly, like they were meant to always be there. You both to allow the kiss to become more heated, because it's nice just being with each other.
"You're right," he says, "we cannot continue hiding our love. Starting tomorrow, the kingdom will know you as my wife, my queen."
Your heart flutters, "You're not worried about the risks now?"
Yoongi's eyes widen, "I am terrified beyond belief. But I will go out of my way to make sure you will be safe. Forever."
"And I, you, Min Yoongi."
When you awake the next morning, Yoongi is already sitting up beside you. The sunlight shines into his room, and you realize this is the first time you have seen his room in this much light. It's obviously much later than you're used to staying, and Yoongi doesn't seem as panicked as you expected him to be.
"There is no way you're getting out of the castle without being seen so we have to tell Mother now. Before that happens, though, I want to make sure that you fully understand what you're signing up for."
You're rubbing the sleep from your eyes and pulling yourself up as Yoongi speaks.
"You will have people around you forever. The only place you'll get any peace is right in here. Your parents' bakery will be very successful seeing as their daughter is now a queen. If something happens to me, you will have to run the kingdom."
Blinking, you finally speak, "What?"
"If I die," Yoongi reiterates, "You will have to-"
Loud knocking rings through his room, causing the panic you expected to see from Yoongi to finally come up. "No time now, just act calm."
Yoongi rushes towards his door, his clothing flowing behind him. He opens it slightly, still leaving you blocked from view.
"Your majesty, I've brought you your breakfast." you hear softly.
Yoongi glances back towards you, before opening the door slightly wider. "I appreciate it, I am going to need a second bowl though."
The servant, an older woman with graying hair, meets eyes with you. Her eyes widen, "O- oh yes sir! I'll be back in just a moment for you and your missus."
Yoongi turns back to you after watching her scurry away with a smile on his face. He leaves the door open now, carrying the tray towards the bed and placing it in front of you. It's pork, a meat that you rarely ate, with porridge and a tall glass of water. You look up to him, feeling his hand tap your chin. "Eat up, my love."
You pick up the spoon and begin eating the porridge. It's delicious, better than anything you've ever eaten before in your life.
Yoongi sits across from you and picks up a piece of pork with his fingers, chewing on it slowly. "I will give it approximately 5 minutes before my mother is in here, by the way."
"What?!" you say, your mouth full of porridge. You instantly stand, rushing over to the mirror in the corner of the room and begin attempting to tame your hair. You've met the woman before, years ago, when you and Yoongi were both children. She liked you then, but how much will she like you now that you are going to be throwing her son to the wind?
"Baby," Yoongi stands behind you, grabbing your hands and holding them to your side, "You look fine. Everything will be okay."
"You're awfully calm for someone who didn't even think this was a possibility less than 12 hours ago."
"Because I thought it over last night. My mother will just have to deal with it. I am 30 years old, she has no say over who I marry, or who I taste." he turns your chin to him and captures your lips with his again. You can feel him pressing into your backside while his tongue dances across your bottom lip.
As you feel the outline of his erection press harder onto your ass, you moan into his mouth. He's very receptive to how vocal you are, but before it can go any further, footsteps approach his doorway.
He quickly pulls away and stands in front of you, watching as his mother enters the room carrying a second tray of porridge.
She's gorgeous, wearing pink and blue with her hair done up perfectly. She turns towards the two of you with a smile, "Yoongi, tell me who is behind you."
Yoongi steps to the side but keeps his arm in front of you.
His mother's eyes begin to water, "_____, are you seeing my son?"
"Y- you remember me?" Yoongi tenses beside you as you speak.
"Of course I do, you were the reason I couldn't get my son to come back home when you were children. I'd ask him where he was going and he would always say, 'Mom, I'm going to see my girlfriend.' And now here you are, finally in front of me." She walks forward and pushes Yoongi's arm out of the way, bringing you in for a tight hug.
"I was wondering when Yoongi would finally bring you home. It's been too long."
"W- we were scared." You respond, your voice muffled by her shoulder.
"Scared of what?" She pulls away, flattening your hair and inspecting your face with eyes of worry.
Yoongi moves beside you again, "I was scared that you wouldn't accept her, and that the enemy may come back and get her should I go public with her."
"Nonsense," she lays a smack on Yoongi's shoulder, "_____ will be protected. Nobody deserves their love to be hidden."
~*~*~
After a full day of speaking with Yoongi's mother and explaining how long the two of you kept everything hidden, you were finally alone with Yoongi again.
He caressed your back softly in the bathtub, your body warm against his while he gently ran his fingers through your hair.
"I'm glad your mother likes me."
"We just spent the whole day with her, do we have to keep talking about her?" Yoongi whines, water splashing as he throws his head back in a frustrated groan.
"Awe, does my poor baby need attention?" You turn around in the tub, facing Yoongi. His chest heaves as he juts his bottom lip out, "I do need attention."
"Oh you do? What do you need from me?"
"Can we finish what we started this morning?" Yoongi whispers, flexing his hips. His cock twitches beneath the water, causing you to reach forward and grip the base.
Your smile is almost sinister, while you begin jerking him off. He's tense immediately, his head tossed back and moans leaving his mouth. "You must have been hard all day, my poor baby. I bet you wanted to pull me away and use my mouth, huh?"
"Y-yes," Yoongi breathes, "I wanted you so bad."
"Mm," your hand moves faster, "couldn't wait to use me as your queen for the first time."
"P- please," his moans turn to whines, "fuck me, my love."
Your hand lowers and begins to dance across his ass, spreading his legs and allowing your fingers to brush against his hole. He whimpers the moment your finger stops, pressing into him softly.
"So good," your hand moves up and down his cock as your finger begins curl and thrust to brush against his G-spot, "Does my King like letting go with me?"
Yoongi nods, "Faster please."
Your hands quicken their pace as Yoongi reaches forward and pulls you forward, kissing you hard. He pulls back and rests his forehead against yours, his mouth agape while his orgasm approaches.
"Cum, my King. Cum for me."
Yoongi moans as he releases, his hole tightening around your finger. His chest heaves as he pulls you to him.
"You're so good to me. I'm excited to spend the rest of our lives together."
You grin against his chest, pressing light kisses across him.
"Let's get out of the bath and have round two in the bed?" You suggest, your thumb gently massaging above his collarbone. Yoongi smiles, "Does my Queen want her turn?"
Biting your lip, you murmur, "Yes please."

It was supposed to have been a relaxing family trip. Zelda had promised a place for them to stay in Castle Town, and they would have had the opportunity to just see the city and not worry about selling anything or doing knightly duties.
Malon should have known better. As much as Link preferred his domestic life, adventure always seemed to find him… and he was all too eager to answer the call.
She didn’t mind going on an adventure with him, honestly. She’d kind of always wanted to. What she hadn’t wanted, though, was to drag their daughter into it as well.
Their journey to Castle Town had been interrupted by beasts, rerouting them towards the forest to the south, near Lake Hylia. It was adjacent to the Lost Woods, and Link claimed it was mostly safe - at the very least it was safer than being exposed in Hyrule Field. He hadn’t wanted to engage out in the open with Malon and Navi so vulnerable, so this had been the next best thing.
The only issue was that Link was injured. And ill on top of it - he’d been coming down with something but had insisted on the family still going to Castle Town, outwitting Malon’s arguments by saying Well this is a vacation, darling, it’ll be restful!
Sighing, Malon leaned against a tree, her daughter nestled safely in her arms. Restful was not the word she’d use for this.
“We outran them,” Link noted as he watched behind them, pacing. With each step he took he faltered, steadily developing a limp.
“Honey, you can’t fight like this,” Malon said worriedly. “We should just stay here until they go away.”
“They might try to look for us,” Link argued. “Besides, the woods aren’t the safest either. It’s just that nothing’s going to go out of its way to attack us. But we can’t stay here.”
“You’re hurt,” Malon reiterated, pointing to the blood on his leg. She’d already wrapped the wound, insisting on taking care of it as soon as possible, but that didn’t mean it was all better now. She really wished they’d packed some milk - of all the times for them to be lacking their own product!
Link sighed heavily, sitting on the forest floor. His brow was furrowed deeply, holding that scowl he used to when worries plagued his mind. Malon reached over to put a reassuring hand on his shoulder, but to be honest she wasn’t much less anxious. This entire situation was a disaster, and she was frankly starting to get scared.
Link watched her a moment and then looked down. He was definitely deliberating something specific now, based on the way his eyes moved back and forth, one argument clashing with another in some kind of internal debate.
“What is it?” Malon asked.
“Nothing,” Link answered, shaking his head. “Can you do me a favor?”
Malon perked up in an instant, eager to help. “Of course, darling.”
“Can you help me get this boot off?”
Malon glanced at his injured leg and nodded. First, she looped a sling around her to let Navi rest while freeing her arms up. As she bent down to gingerly assist Link, suspicion tickled at the back of her brain. Link rarely asked for help - the man triaged himself by situation, not injury. Out in the field he would write off a broken bone as an inconvenience, but in the safety of their home a cold was the deadliest disease on earth.
But this situation wasn’t safe. Why was he suddenly so compliant? What was he up to?
Malon was about to ask as she reached for the boot, when a bright light flashed, warmth filled the air, and Link jerked with a muffled yell. Malon gasped, rising to her feet and grabbing the nearest stick as a weapon, eyes wide as she looked for whatever had hurt her husband, when—
When two glowing eyes looked back at her.
Malon stared. And then it clicked. “What are you doing out here?! Why, that idiotic husband of mine, take that off right now and I’ll punch him myself—“
The Fierce Deity hastily stood, taking three steps back as Malon charged at him. “This wasn’t of my volition.”
“You both know that mask hurts him, why is he putting it on when he’s sick and injured already—“
Navi burst into tears, upset by the racket. Malon paused from her tirade only due to such desperate circumstances, shushing her daughter and rocking her gently while glaring daggers at the deity.
“Perhaps he didn’t think he could protect you in his current state,” Fierce offered.
“That’s ridiculous!” Malon denied even as her mind screamed in agreement with Fierce. She herself had just been saying it.
But—but—oh, that husband of hers! He was getting the lecture of his life when he took that mask off!
A twig nearby snapped, and the deity had his blade out in an instant. Malon tried to calm Navi, who was still greatly perturbed, and she let the mythical being take the lead. He quickly rooted out the source of the noise. Malon had to admit she certainly felt safe watching the demigod dispatch the beasts with so much ease it might as well have been a joke.
When the danger had passed, she quietly asked, “Can you even feel the injury he had?”
The Fierce Deity glanced at her, and he tested the affected extremity. “A little, yes. I know he hurt it.”
“Things just… don’t hurt you, do they?” Malon huffed, marveling a little at it. Perhaps that was why Link had chosen to let him take over - nothing could slow him down.
The deity blinked, head tilting down as if he were considering it. “They do.”
He didn’t elaborate, and somehow that made the words all the heavier. Malon watched him a moment in silence, Navi finally calm in her arms. Then she sighed, finding a fallen tree to sit on, and she pat the space beside her invitingly. As she waited for the deity to approach, she started humming Epona’s song while rocking Navi back and forth.
Fierce slowly made his way over to her, sitting with such care it was as if he was approaching a frightened animal. Malon didn’t think too much into it - she knew his focus was on her daughter. She continued to sway gently, beaming down at her baby girl. Navi was calm, resting once more. Not for the first time, Malon had to marvel at the little one. She was perfect and beautiful.
And now she was safe.
Sighing, Malon said quietly. “Thank you.”
Fierce smiled softly. “Protection is my sworn duty. But more than duty, it is always a pleasure to protect Link’s family.”
Malon mirrored his smile, resuming her humming for a little while. Eventually, the deity commented, “She’s gotten bigger since you showed her to me.”
“That was six months ago,” Malon giggled. “Of course she’s gotten bigger.”
“I… do not know how quickly mortals grow,” Fierce noted a little uncertainly. “I've ascertained that the little Hero's journey wasn't exactly traditional. How long will she be this helpless?”
“Don’t you worry about her,” Malon chided gently with a chuckle. She knew that concerned tone and expression anywhere - it was still her husband’s face, even if the mask’s magic distorted it to share the deity's spirit. The two worried all the same. It was honestly kind of cute. “Link and I can take care of her.”
The deity continued to watch her daughter, face softening.
“Now don’t you tell me you don’t think we’re up to the task,” Malon teased, elbowing him.
He straightened a little, a smile pulling at his lips. “I remember little of my time before this mask, but I do recall that a mother’s love and protection is far fiercer than I could ever be.”
Malon felt a swell of pride in her chest, and she giggled. “Aw honey, look at you buttering me up. That won’t save you.”
Fierce blinked. “From what?”
“From eating,” Malon insisted, pulling out some biscuits that had been wrapped up for the journey. “Link needs it, and you don’t get to eat that much. My daddy always said my cookin’ was fit for a god, so I guess it’s time to test that.”
She actually managed to pull a laugh out of Fierce with that one, and it filled the air with mirth and magic. Malon felt like she'd just accomplished some grand quest like Link did on his journeys, and she laughed with him. Fierce eventually took the biscuits, sniffing them hesitantly.
Malon raised an eyebrow at him, but the gesture was lost upon the mysterious being. He took a laughably small bite, testing it, and then sighed, closing his eyes.
"You alright?" Malon asked quietly, trying to parse out the gesture. In most it would be a sign of appreciation, but Fierce's mannerisms didn't always match the norm.
"Six months," the deity said quietly before taking another bite. "It's such a short time."
"It certainly has flown by," Malon muttered, looking down at her baby. Navi had grown so much. She wanted nothing more than for time to stop. It was pretty ironic considering who she was married to. But his magic over time, as fantastical as it was, would be a curse in this situation. No, Malon didn't want to live the same days over and over as she herself grew old. She just wanted to cherish the time she had as much as possible.
Some days she did wish she could slow it down, though.
She kissed her daughter's soft head, taking in the scent of her skin, so new and unblemished, naïve to the worries lines her parents bore. Navi was her entire world, and she couldn't imagine it any other way.
"I suppose mortals do grow up quite quickly."
Malon nuzzled her baby girl a little more before looking up at the deity. He seemed very sad and alone all of a sudden, biscuit forgotten in his hand as it rested on his lap.
"Oh honey," she cooed gently, shifting closer to him. "All that means is we treasure what we do have."
Fierce watched her, his brow heavy over his eyes, a weight pushing on his shoulders. Malon tried reading into it, trying to figure out what was leaving the sweet mysterious man so perturbed. She supposed it was fairly obvious, though.
He would outlive them all. They both knew it. But that didn't mean—
Oh.
He didn't think he would have a chance to treasure such moments. How could he? He was locked away in a mask, only touching reality when worn. And Link had no reason to wear it.
Well, that just wouldn't do. They had to figure something out. Malon didn't wish the pain of that mask on her husband, but she didn't wish the loneliness of its imprisonment on Fierce.
"We have right now," she reasoned, trying to give him the most sincere smile she could. "Come on, love. Take your armor off and relax. As long as you're eating and resting, I reckon it'll be okay for a little bit, at least."
"You three were going somewhere," Fierce noted. "I should clear the road and escort you there safely."
"Maybe so," Malon replied. "But you're going to finish eating first."
He complied, finishing the biscuit before being handed another. After having several snacks from the provisions the family had packed, Malon and Fierce rose together. His gaze seemed to settle on Navi, and Malon held her out carefully, nodding in encouragement to the tall being.
Gently, oh so gently, Fierce took the baby in his arms. Instinctively, he swayed on his feet, eyes never leaving her face. Malon's heart warmed at the sight of it.
“Sometimes, I just wonder,” Malon remarked as she watched him. “You’re so… compassionate, and kind. They claim you're a war god, but you're really not. You love children so much. Surely… I think you might’ve had some, you know? Back then and all.”
Fierce watched her in silence before he tilted his head to the side with a smile, returning Navi to her mother. “I do have children.”
Malon jumped, surprised. “You do?”
“Yes,” the deity hummed quietly, a deep, rumbling sound that was nearly akin to purring. “And I’m very proud of both you.”
The words settled over her a moment before sinking in, and she knew she had to look like a deer caught in lantern light. The deity’s smile grew, almost as if teasing, but she knew he was being genuine. And she… felt almost at a loss for words by it. Her throat tightened a hair before she laughed, stepping towards him and pulling him into a hug. “Oh, you. You’re just as bad as Link.”
The Fierce Deity stood there stiffly a moment, clearly caught off guard by the contact, but slowly, he settled into the embrace. His hands were warm on Malon’s back as he pulled her closer, careful not to hurt Navi between them. His breath warmed her hair at the top of her head, and Malon nuzzled against his chest a little.
Silence hung amicably in the air, a pleasant comfort and warmth like a hearth ablaze with a cheery fire. Slowly, fairies came out of hiding, dancing and twinkling in the shadows and bringing a glow to the forest like the pink hues of a sunrise.
The supposed god of war knew peace, and Malon held this moment in her heart forevermore.

merlin hcs
ask: Do you have any headcannons of Merlin growing his hair out all curly and everyone in the castle collectively loose their minds
- If you want a mental image, I’ve got you. Take this and this and this and enjoy. :3
- Like the grandpa he is, Gaius teases Merlin for it every morning. He ruffles his hair, mumbles something about being thankful while you have it, and sends him out the door with a tsk.
- It only takes a day or two for it go from subtle waves to quite noticeable, especially when Gaius makes him a shampoo better fit for the curly aspect. It wasn’t really an intentional choice on Merlin’s end, just happenstance from being busy and letting it do what it wants. This also meant he was starting to get slight stubble around his jaw, born from laziness about shaving.
- This switch also happened to fall on a rare weekend where Merlin didn’t really see anyone. Arthur was gone for business and Merlin took the weekend off.
- Gwen says something about it first, crossing him in the halls and stopping him to gently ruffle his hair and go, “Well aren’t you handsome, why have you been hiding this?” to which Merlin blushes (not used to compliments) and waves it off. Gwen continues down the hall, but calls back over her shoulder, “Make sure to ask the knights what they think!”
- Merlin also passes a couple ladies from town who, in no uncertain fashion, stare for long enough that even he notices.
- When he wakes Arthur up by yanking the curtains open and throwing an orange in his direction, Arthur doesn’t notice. Too blinded by sleep and sun and stress. It’s not until after he’s changed and emerges from behind the divider that his gaze flickers to Merlin and he pauses.
- Merlin makes a face, “What? Don’t be thinking about throwing something at me.” Arthur looks away, but doesn’t move, “Nothing, you changed your hair.” Having genuinely forgotten, Merlin pauses, “Oh- I suppose I did. Is that….a problem?” Arthur rolls his eyes, “Why would that be a problem Merlin? I doubt anything can worsen your servant skills any more than their current-,” He’s cut off by Merlin throwing his shoes full speed at him.
- When they run into the knights in the armory, Merlin keeps remembering Gwen’s comment about what they would think. He decides not to say anything, but it doesn’t matter because the second they go outside and the sunlight hits them, Gwaine clocks him immediately.
- “Woah, hold up! You did something, fess up!” Merlin groans but smiles despite himself, “C’mon, don’t do this-,” Percival cuts him, “He’s right though! You’re all rugged now.” He lowered his voice when he said rugged and Merlin and Arthur both make a grossed-out expression. As Elyan opens his mouth to agree, Merlin surrenders, “I grew out my hair a little bit, it got wavy, can we move on now?”
- Gwaine wolf-whistles and the knights burst into laughter. Arthur rolls his eyes and gestures with his sword, “Can we get back to training?” Lancelot grins, “What, are you upset we think Merlin looks nice?” Arthur shoots him a very pointed glare and gestures everyone out into the field.
- Later that evening, Morgana comes to visit Arthur while Merlin’s getting dinner set up. She goes to wave a quick hello but pauses upon seeing him, “Merlin! Your hair looks lovely.” He grins bashfully, “Thanks.” Arthur groans, “Doesn’t anyone in this castle have anything better to do than pay attention to Merlin’s hair?” Morgana shrugs, “Do you not like it?” Arthur stiffens slightly, “I didn’t say- I just don’t care about it.” Gesturing vaguely around, Morgana continues, “It’s not a crime to think he looks nice Arthur, everyone in this castle thinks he looks nice. You’d be crazy not too.”
