Double life,, 2!!!!!!!

I was bored and decided to re-roll double life soulmates and see if i could think of anything fun with these new pairs

so i took the double life cast plus Skizz, Lizzie, Mumbo and Gem because i wanted to include everyone

(i know that Gem was only in one session but we had an odd number and shes a lifer to me)

the pairs generated was

Joel and Lizzie (im not kidding)

Skizz and Mumbo

Pearl and Tango (it rolled Pearl and Scott first but i didnt want any doubles so i rerolled it)

Ren and Grian

Cleo and Etho (omg theyre back together...)

Scar and Bdubs

Jimmy and Scott (flower husbands,,,,)

Impulse and Martyn

Gem and BigB

now theres some absolute gems in this

first things first, the true soulmates: Joel and Lizzie

they were the first thing i rolled and it was so perfect omg,,,,,, obviously they are the power couple, the girlboss malewife. very chaotic duo and possibly a bit dangerous

next up: Skizz and Mumbo

now because those two dont interaact like at all from my knowledge i cant say much for sure, but i feel like the two of them would make a very fun team. with Skizz's impulsiveness and Mumbos redstone abilities i feel they could do some very fun stuff. I dont think theyd get very far but theyre here for a fun time, not a long time

Pearl and Tango

this one is kinda interesting. we have established that Pearl is crazy, we know that, but Tango is too just in a completely different way. Pearl doesnt beat around the bush much, she there and you know it. while Tango often works in the back seat in the middle of some crazy plot like Dare to Flare, Bet your life, or bringing a warden to the surface. combine these two and youd get some fun results.

Ren and Grian

first thing that came to mind: the dramatics. Grian is the known war starter and Ren is known roleplayer, do i need to make it obvious??? they would be SO fun to watch. Just by thinking about im upset that this isnt already a thing, god. I feel their shenanigans would be on par with the Bad Boys.

Cleo and Etho

if limited life taught us anything its that these two = divorce and im so here for that. this feels as if it be Cloe + Martyn Version 2. and considering and Etho on his own is a bit more pathetic then Martyn it would be very pitiful to watch. Cleo would be out girlbossing(as they do) and Etho would be struggling to do much, that or Etho would be also fine on his own but i think itd be better if he were a little pathetic yk

Scar and Bdubs

these two are impulsive idiots and would do nothing but enable each other and im so here for it. they would go on a million different mini mission in a single session. youd get whiplash from watching them. but i feel like this would make them either very dangerous or not threatening at all. who knows

Jimmy and Scott

flower husbands. what more do i have to say? Scott would be the pro player that he is while jimmy does nothing but get himself killed. theyd make an okay team is third life is anything to go by. i feel Scotts skills at the game and Jimmy's lack of would just balence themselves out a bit. who knows, maybe Jimmy would be the second one to die with a soulmate like Scott

Impulse and Martyn

a southlanders duo! these two were hilarious back in last life and they would be again. theyd make a pretty decent team i think. I mean these two were top two in limited life. theyd be a good mix of shenanigans and actual decent plays, a very good balance i think

and last but not least Gem and BigB

now this ones a thinker because Gem was only ever in one session of the game and did not once interact with BigB(if im remembering correctly) but going on assumptions i think these two would make a great team. first of all i think theyd be semi-wholesome. with Gems cottagecore vibes and BigBs general BigB-ness i think theyd be very cute. but also quite dangerous. Gem is a known PvPer (GeminiSlay!) and BigB makes his own good plays fairly often as well. Otherall very cute, but threatening team

Hope I finally got everyone!! Also, if anyone is getting notified for the first time in a while about this fic, just know my acc has been bugging for a while so you may have missed the recent updates.

As the bright lights carried you back to Earth, you couldn't help but curse yourself for not talking to Heimdall.

It was Heimdall for goodness sake!

You were extremely disappointed in yourself. He was so cool! He deserved someone to appreciate all the times he had committed treason in order to save Asgard! You couldn't believe yourself. You hadn't even said one word to him!

You stopped berating yourself when the rainbow lights began to fade, taking in the familiar surroundings when the Bifrost was gone. You looked down, feeling both guilty at the marking on the ground and also in awe of it. On the one hand, it was proof of the Bifrost but on the other hand, it looked like a lot of work for the gardener to fix.

You were pulled out of your thoughts when Natasha grabbed your hand and began leading you to the compound.

With Natasha on your right side, pulling you along, Peter walked beside you on your left side. He looked like what you imagined you looked like the first time you saw the compound—of course, his curious face was undoubtedly more adorable than whatever face you had been making. That experience had been surreal.

The three of you had appeared relatively far from the building itself, so when you were about halfway to the compound, the doors burst open and half of the Avengers came pouring out. Wanda and Steve reached the three of you first, but Clint and Scott weren't far behind them.

"Are you okay, (y/n)?" Wanda asked, accented voice soft.

You nodded and grinned, spreading your arms. "I'm all healed."

"I'm glad." She smiled back. "Would it be okay if I gave you a hug?"

Your grin got even bigger. "Of course!"

How could you say no to Wanda motherfucking Maximoff???? She was literally amazing and strong and kind and caring and-

HOLY SHIT SHE'S HUGGING MEEEEEEE!!!!

You reciprocated the hug eagerly, more than happy to receive a hug from the one and only Wanda Maximoff. It wasn't a very long hug, which you had expected considering you hadn't really interacted with Wanda much (which was such a shame) but you were more than happy with the short, reassuring embrace she gave you.

When she pulled away, she smiled at you. "I'm glad you're alright."

"Uh..." Your brain had stopped working at the realization of how pretty her smile was. "...You're super awesome, Wanda."

She laughed. "Thank you, (y/n)."

Wanda patted you on the shoulder one more time before moving out of the way for Clint and Scott to approach you. Scott gave you two thumbs-up and a bright grin while Clint gave you a side-hug, telling you softly that "he was glad you were okay". At that point, you were pretty much on Cloud Nine; after all, you had just been given a hug by Wanda and you got to interact with Scott and Clint who were both wholesome dads and with your parental issues, they seemed like incredibly amazing parents to you.

"I know everyone is relieved to see her, but we should go inside so she can sit down. She needs her rest," Natasha spoke up, having watched you greet them all with a smile on your face that caused a smile to grow on hers.

You wanted to protest, but you knew that you had worried Natasha a lot recently so you figured you could listen to her.

The little group of you, Peter, and Natasha, had more than doubled with the four new arrivals. You all walked back, Peter still beside you while Nat moved to walk beside Clint as she talked to him. As you looked at the people around you, you couldn't help but notice Steve's silence.

Your thoughts about them were halted when you realized you were about to step into the compound. Any time Steve had brought you to the compound, the two of you had stayed outside and just gone on runs. Never had you gone inside, though. It wasn't even that Steve had said you weren't allowed or anything, there just had never been a reason to go in. But as the rest of the group walked in, you felt yourself take in a quick breath. You were about to enter the Avengers compound. To you, it was practically sacred ground.

You weren't given much time to soak in the awesomeness; instead you were ushered to a free bedroom by Natasha and insisted to rest for a little while. The healers on Asgard had said it would be a good idea to rest for a couple days, just because you were mortal and they were used to treating humans. You didn't really mind the rest, even if you felt guilty for making everyone worry, because for the last week you hadn't had one hour of sleep that wasn't riddled with nightmares.

After Natasha and Peter left you to relax, both giving you a hug, you found yourself unbelievably bored. Thankfully, a knock at the door was able to catch your attention.

"Come in!" you called out, fiddling with the thick comforter before your hands froze as you saw who it was. "Oh."

Bucky immediately noticed your halt in movement. "I'm sorry. I can go, if you'd like."

"No!" You winced at your own volume, especially when you saw him cringe at it. "Sorry. I just meant that it's fine if you stay."

"Are you sure?" He was clearly reluctant to take up your time. You thought it might be because he wasn't very comfortable with people quite yet but your theory was wrong. You didn't have a clue that his actions were motivated by guilt, which was pretty stupid considering guilt is something you'd gotten well acquainted to.

"Yeah. Promise." You smiled at him, shocked and delighted that Bucky Barnes was approaching you.

He cleared his throat, looking away from you. "I just came to say thank you."

You blinked. "What for?"

Bucky looked at you questioningly. Had you lost your memory during the fight? He felt even guiltier at the thought of that, but that would explain why you seemed so happy to see a criminal—

"Ohhhh," you realized, "I'm stupid. It was my pleasure—well, I mean getting stabbed wasn't ideal but I'm glad you didn't get hurt.

You smiled at him earnestly, hoping to convey your appreciation for him through the gesture. He was one of the heroes who suffered the most and you found hope in his strength.

Bucky didn't really know what to do. How could he? You had risked your life to save his and now you were saying it was your pleasure? It took him a moment to realize who you reminded him of. The reckless actions for the greater good? The putting aside your own pain to save others from it? You were just like Steve was before the war. Optimistic, unapologetically willing to do the right thing, and with far too little regard for your own safety.

Just thinking about the similarities between you and his best friend, a small smile came to his face. "Well, still, thank you. I probably would have died had you not stepped in and I am indebted to you."

"There's no need for that. I mean, it sound kinda cool to have an Avenger be in my debt, but I'd rather you just be my friend." Your eyes were so honest and hopeful and Bucky had a hard time accepting what you were asking.

The entire situation didn't make sense though, so maybe he was dreaming?

"You want me to be your friend?" Bucky asked slowly, as if he was listening to another language and slowly trying to decipher the meaning behind the words.

"I mean-" you were starting to regret your words. What if he didn't feel comfortable with it? You didn't want to make him feel obligated to be your friend. "-I just think you're cool. If you don't want to be, I understand. I just thought it would be nice..."

He still didn't know how this situation was happening, but he wasn't averse to your question. He just didn't want to hurt anybody. Having friends meant the possibility of hurting them. "If you would like me to, I would be honored."

Your heart stopped when he smiled at you.

DAMMIT WHY DID EVERYONE HERE HAVE SUCH NICE SMILES??????? MY HEART CAN'T TAKE SUCH BEAUTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Uh..." you were slightly dazed before snapping out of your stupor. You didn't want to scare him off. "Awesome! Oh—also, my name is (y/n) (l/n). I just realized we never really officially introduced ourselves."

"I'm Bucky, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

When Bucky left, he still couldn't believe what had transpired. He'd gone in expecting you to be mad at him for your wound, which wasn't his fault, but he still felt guilty for it. He had expected fear or regret but had been greeted with excitement and earnest friendliness.

He could understand why the rest of the people in this place seemed to care for you so much.

You rubbed the crust from your eyes, groaning as you began to wake up. You weren't sure how long you'd been out, but you could already tell that had been one of the greatest naps of your life. What with the chaos of the past week, you hadn't had a good nights rest for a while and your body was paying for it. The healers on Asgard telling you to take the next couple days easy was something your sleep deprived self desperately needed and while you would've preferred to be completely okay, you couldn't deny that you were relieved. Besides, even if you tried to avoid resting Natasha didn't seem like she'd go along with that.

You sat up in the bed, reality hitting you like a frying pan when you remembered that you were in the compound. You still hadn't yet seen the extent of your actions. You could guess that the team hadn't split up because Steve and the others were at the compound but you didn't know that for sure. And you still hadn't seen Tony so you didn't know what was happening there. Plus, there was the matter of you releasing the Accords to the public and you hadn't seen the effects of that either.

Overall, there was a lot of shit you still had to deal with, but for the moment you were allowing yourself a moment of rest. You knew that even if you had somehow miraculously been successful in your attempts, there was still the matter of the future and that purple wrinkly bitch's stupid ass plan.

You rubbed your temples, knowing that you couldn't forget the dangers of the future but that you also needed a moment to focus on something else. You left the room to go seek out that distraction you craved. You walked back the way Natasha had led you to the room, unbelievably curious to see what else was in the building but also not wanting to get in trouble for snooping.

That's kinda funny...you didn't wanna get in trouble for snooping but you leaked government documents...aNYWAYS-

You were pulled from your thoughts when one of the many doors in the hallway opened, a familiar figure exiting the room. He froze as he saw you, looking divided and...sad.

Why was Steve sad?

"What's up, old man?" You grinned at him, hoping to lift his spirits.

With your words, he looked even sadder-

No.

Not sad.

Guilty.

“(y/n).” He nodded at you. “I hope you’re alright now.”

”Oh.” You felt slightly put off by the way he was speaking. “Thanks. How are you? I hope you didn’t get hurt during the fight.”

He barked a laugh, the sharp noise unexpected. “I’m fine. I’m not the one who took multiple stab wounds to my side.”

“Well now you’re making it sound serious or something.” You tried to joke.

“Could you, for once in your life, stop joking?” The anger in his voice shocked you, the unexpected situation making you feel vulnerable.

”…Are you mad at me?”

Something in your voice made him take a step back, reining in his temper. “No, (y/n). I just—“ he sighed. “I’m so sorry. You didn’t deserve any of this. My attitude or your injuries. I should’ve—none of this should’ve happened.”

And you began to understand.

He wasn’t mad at you.

He was mad at himself.

But why?

He had done what he set out to do. Bucky was safe for the time being, nobody had gotten arrested like in the movie, and everyone was alive with hopefully minimal injuries.

Even as your mind searched for a reason he would be so angry, you missed the most obvious answer.

"I'm so sorry, (y/n)." This time, he sounded defeated, seconds away from his voice breaking. It was scary to you. He was one of the strongest people you knew so to hear him so sad broke your heart. "This is all my fault."

Even as you struggled to wrap your mind around the situation, you found yourself reaching out to him, trying to grab his hands and give him a reassuring squeeze. Unfortunately, he only moved his hand away, shying away from your touch. You could understand not wanting to be touched when you were emotional, so you respected his boundaries, putting your hands back at your side.

"None of this was your fault," you told him. "The Accords were always going to happen. Besides, you found your best friend and saved him from being wrongfully imprisoned-"

"That's not what I'm talking about." He raised his head, looking you dead in the eyes. "You almost died. I know you're smart so I know that you understand what happened. You're still a teenager for God's sake. You didn't deserve this."

You refrained from pointing out that you were technically an adult. Also, you couldn't help but feel like you did deserve what happened. You'd known about the bombing at the Accords and had failed to prevent it. People had died because of you.

"People don't always get what they deserve," your voice was far less cheery than usual, it's usual lightheartedness gone. "Besides, you were what? Also 18 when you enlisted? Even now," you sighed. "You're like 27 and you've been through hell."

Steve was shocked by the numbers. His life felt a lot longer than that. "I'm 26. And that's different. I signed up for this. You didn't."

"Well it's not like you dragged me there while I was kicking and screaming. I chose to be there." Your voice was firm. "And I don't blame you at all, okay? None of this was your fault."

You could tell he was still having a hard time believing your words of assurance.

"Would it be okay if I gave you a hug?" you asked, not wanting him to feel uncomfortable and hoping that maybe it would help him believe you were sincere. Plus, you loved hugs from any of the Avengers.

"I don't think you want to."

"Is that a yes or a no?"

"Fine." Steve could feel a small smile begin to form. "Only if you it's safe for you, though."

"Psh, nothing could keep me from hugs."

While the hug you gave him was short, you hoped it still helped lift his mood. You knew what it felt like to be burdened with guilt.

hahahaha, this gave me a great laugh!! you've caught me, anon - i am very much a fan of evil, devious, villainous, morally bereft and just plain dreadful characters. you'll see from my f/o tracker that i'm quite the bad guy connoisseur - i just haven't explored that with Wally yet because we know so little about what his agenda is!! it's Wally's ambiguity that makes him so fun to play with;;;

i'd love to fill this out with some potential theories, if you'll humour me 😉 gonna pop this under a spoiler tag as well just in case this speculation turns out correct, and for the warnings!!

Dark!Wally (or potentially, just Wally) Darling headcanons:

⭐ Wally is using us as food. ever since we found out about Wally eating with his eyes, i haven't been able to get this idea out of my head. everything from everyone looking up at the tracker on the website, to Wally watching us from the other side of the screen, has me wondering exactly why he loves us so much, and why he seems happy to engage with all of us pouring in to look at the site. i'm wondering if Wally is something of a psychic cannibal - someone who is able to devour essence through attention, particularly through eye contact. there is something he's getting from us interacting with him on the website, and i feel like his love is of the possessive variety...he needs us for something that we don't understand yet. ⭐ Wally 'fed' his neighbourhood friends to his Home, and is play-acting as if his friends are still alive by interacting with us. some eagle-eyed fans noticed recently that in one image, Wally's armchair has a stitched-on patch that looks suspiciously like Barnaby's skin. likewise, there's a very strange file name on one of the drawings Wally did on the Guestbook, in a comment talking about Eddie, where he says he 'runs too much'. we know that Home is alive, and that Wally talks to Home. we also don't know why Wally's house is the only one with apparent sentience. my question is...how is Home fuelled? and why is Wally the only one talking to us through the Guestbook if his puppet-self is alive - where is everyone else? my (very thin) speculation is that Wally may have sacrificed his friends to keep Home alive, but suffered a mental breakdown as a result, and wants to preserve their old life through the website as if nothing is wrong. ⭐ Wally is a vain attention hog who wants to be back in the spotlight. this one is bare-bones, but hear me out - this can go a couple of ways! if we choose to believe the Wally speaking from within the website is, somehow, a sentient puppet (or his consciousness is infused with the website), we could also believe that he may miss his apparently peaceful, love-filled life from another time. perhaps Wally was alive during the original run of Welcome Home, and somehow remained alive following its cancellation. perhaps he feels spurned now he's no longer the friendly neighbourhood host of the television show long-forgotten to the public...where better to try and gain a new audience than online, under the guise of a restoration project? we could even make a potential cult leader argument here... again, this is all pure speculation!! we have no idea at all what Wally's agenda is at this stage, and that's a good thing;; it's going to be loads of fun learning more about Wally and what his intentions are. i'd love to hear people's theories 😉

To be honest with you, I mostly consume AvA/M content than create my own headcanons ^^;;;

That is to say, I don't think too hard about mine? They just. Float around, and come up whenever I draw something and I just go, "Ah yes. That is them."

I don't ship anyone and mostly see the CG as best friends who live together like a family. Not totally siblings but just. Just found family? It's very hard to describe but here's some duos:

Orange and Green - I see them as creative rivals. Also kinda see them as the responsible ones of the group- even though I actually headcanon Orange to be younger than the four, he just has responsible one vibes lmao. They're said to be close since they're the first to make contact with each other, and I imagine Green was at first responsible (sort of) for Orange for a little while in the beginning until Orange became confident and comfortable enough around the group. I feel Orange interacts with Green the most in the group because of this.

Green and Blue - They hang around each other a lot, and that kinda makes me think that they always did even before meeting Orange. Minus Orange, they seem to be the ones with eyes for detail in the group, so they likely bond over that too sometimes. They look after each other often, checking in on each other. Green's impatience and Blue's pacifism clash sometimes, but they almost always seem to be on board with each other's ideas.

Green and Yellow - They like to one up each other especially in competitions. I feel they annoy each other the most and are spiteful of each other. But, I can see them just having each other's backs anyhow. Chill when chill, unless either one of them disturbs the peace, yknow for fun. They are both mischievous for sure.

Yellow and Blue - I love this duo in canon! Even in the very early episodes, I've always loved that they seem close. Blue often being the emotional one and Yellow often being the one trying to comfort them. I don't know man, I see them as soft towards each other? But not afraid to mess with each other either.

Red and Yellow - Prankster duo. They enable each other's curiosity and terrible ideas. Though, I do think Yellow wouldn't always be on board. It's funny to me Yellow is more cautious while Red just goes straight into situations so Yellow unfortunately has to deal with that.

Red and Blue - I don't see them often together but I always find them so wholesome. They compete over little things, push each other playfully, and awe over cute animals. They're just. They wholesome

CG and Purple - I love the idea of Red and Green being the friendliest towards Purple. I mean, that's true in canon too, with Green especially. Blue and Purple would bond over plants. Yellow and Purple would bond over code, and be competitive with each other as well. With Orange, Im not sure? They're okay with each other I guess?

CG and Mango - Neutral, Im guessing. They're forgiving of a grieving old man/lh but would certainly not forget about the entirety of s3. Now whether or not Mango and Purple live together, I honestly do not know. I do like to think Purple is welcome to stay in Mango's home but they just go elsewhere often, whether to stay in minecraft or do some temporary job.

For the Hollowheads:

Chosen and Dark - They were best friends, and then fell out due to a misunderstanding. I don't really want to believe Dark is truly dead, but Chosen would unfortunately believe that. Angst™. Tbh I actually don't have much for them unless canon tells me more, so this is all I have.

Chosen and Orange - Siblings. I've always liked the idea Orange looks up to Chosen, and I guess Chosen would kinda be uncomfortable with that. And then AvA 6 ep 1 happened, so now Orange knows Chosen is a dork. A very caring older sibling dork. Who kidnapped and endangered him- but still.

I unfortunately have nothing for Victim. (Canon and Fanon)

k so i have a theory that early early on when writing helluva boss, asmodeus and mammon were going to be one character at one point (not in terms of names or their roles as sins, but in terms of fizz having one boss not two). like maybe early on ozzie was going to be abusive and exploitative like mammon is now, but this was shelved for too similar to angel/valentino, or because viv wanted a happier uwu yaoi dynamic, etc. so she included mammon and made ozzie nicer. it’d explain why asmodeus is involved in sex bot business despite saying he doesnt want to be: bc homegirl has no foresight.

(note im actually glad they didnt make ozzie valentino 2: electric boogaloo. and im a sucker for “big buff monster man who’s very kinky but also a sweetheart.” but i think viv’s writing is sloppy and you can see the rabbit trails everywhere)

Thanks anon. I love conversations like these. That line about the sex bots is the biggest glaringly obvious point. Trying to sweep that under the rug and put the blame on mammon Instead was crazyy.

For me it’s up in the air what she had planned, but the remnants of the original better story can still be seen before the fujoshi nation attacked…

Mammon was definitely meant to be the LooLoo Land boss and probably Fizz’s business partner(?) while Asmodeus was possibly a secret not-so-wholesome fling turned sugar daddy. It’s possible that Mammon put Fizz up to dating Ozzie in a “steal as much from (redacted) as you possibly can” type situation. Asmodeus is supposed to have sexualised and exploited the sexualised image of Fizzarolli while Mammon reaped the benefits because Oz is the demon of lust, and in the story mammon is more like Asmodeus than Asmodeus himself. What “i don’t like designing sex toys with your likeness” “I don’t like how many creeps you have now thanks to mammon”’ really? But you built the fuckin things mannnnn 💀 it just makes Asmodeus look so weak willed to me? I don’t like using my entire ass factory he says as a sin, to an imp???? What,? Is this why Crimson called him the weakest most non threatening sin ? Still no explanation for that btw..

You know in a cosmic sortve way, it’s almost like crimson got revenge on Moxxies behalf. Wouldn’t it be hilarious if Fizz got it into his head that moxxie was the evil mastermind behind all of this and started being extra special nice to him. Actually I have no idea how a moxxie and fizzarolli interaction would go now that Viv decided to swap around Fizz’s personality into a moxxie.

Asmodeus should have been Lyle Lipton times a thousand, or at least morally grey like Willy wonka who was whimsical but still exploited people. The worst part is Ozzie has such a menacing design and for what, it’s gone to waste. Just like how terrifying stolas used to be before becoming the creators pet.

Actually you know what else bugs me about putting Fizz in Ozzie’s pocket? The fact that Fizz made his own fortune and Mammon stole it. So now he relies on Ozzies money and gifts. Why the hell does a successful actor and performer need a sugar daddy?? Is it just cause he’s an imp. That would drive me crazy. I’m so sad that the plot of this wasn’t someone who wanted to continue to make his own money out of an inferiority complex of his race, and to not be so dependent anymore. Grrrr.

I’ve seen fics where Fizz is just Ozzies favourite employee and they even have a comforting relationship backstage, but they see other people. Everyone says making them monogamous feels ooc. I think it was this one Jesse x Fizzarolli story I read?And the characterisation of Fizz is just wayyyy superior. He’s what you’d expect, an arrogant asshole. And he has vulnerable cute and cuddly moments. There was another one I read where he started working for Asmodeus but still had a persona with Mammon and that’s why everything was hush hush. I also fully support the trans man fizz in former that fic, he was genuinely cool.

jfgogh - i think its cute. i can definitely see jfk like uplifting gogh and him falling in love over like the most basic display of kindness and jfk just being like “haha woah there guy i didnt mean it like that” but then he realises he Does

gogh x gandhi - LOTS of mixed feelings on this one but it is pretty interesting truth be told. like, the way gogh didnt just sit back and take what gandhi did to him and instead retaliated, i like that, i like the thought of two tiny guys having the most unnecessarily intense rivalry ever, but i know that isn’t really the way the ship is portrayed often rather than wholesome stuff . you interpret ships however you want though

gfk i think is the name for it - im so sorry as a gandhabe connoisseur i know how annoying it is when people say this about a ship that absolutely entraps you but i think jfk and gandhi are more accurate together as just silly friends who see eachother like once a month. jfk casually brings up a girl hes dating (or rather just having sex with frequently) and gandhi is like wait what happened to the other one? like hes very out of the loop but he listens and they both hype eachother up a lot

ceasgogh, gogh x christo, ceaser x christo, whether it’s any of those seperately or polyamory - i love this one so very much for literally no reason. maybe its like a nostalgia thing cuz i remember people talking about them sometimes in 2020 and being like Aw that’s cute but idk something about them feels so like. objectively correct. like yep that’s the little background trio standing together in an episode as they should be

abefk i think - i like it!! even though it’s barely known apart from jokingly i really like the classic 2000s rivalry between a nice boy and an asshole jock thing that was going on between them before ponce’s death, i admit i miss their interactions. i miss how theyd refer to eachother with their last names. also the part in season 2 episode 6 where they both were recalling memories of the grassy knoll and abe went “i used to get food thrown at me” and jfk continued “i used to be the one throwing that food”. i like them

joanabe - i know this one is like barely a ship but i still need to talk about them badly. their friendship is so important to me. the way its always been them whether it’s joan crushing on abe or the other way around, they’re just so special to eachother in any and every way, and both struggle with the choice of helping the other or doing things that hurt the other but ultimately raise their chances of getting together. tbh im so interested in whats gonna happen with them in the finale, and in the next seasons bc i doubt their back and forth crush thing is gonna last the ENTIRE show like itll be getting a new sort of premise or main character focus which im excited for

joanfk - some of the fanart is absolutely adorable COUGH COUGH ORT SMORT COUG but its just not for me man. biggest two factors as to why i dislike it being how it overtook the fandom, and how to me they just never had any substance. they have a fun dynamic and the season 1 finale was sweet but idk it just never affected me that much. also bc i always knew it was gonna crash and burn. like that is not a stable couple as cute as it is sometimes. like at all. and im happy episode 7 finally addressed it

abe x cleo - again, not really a fondly talked about ship, but they are pretty dear to me. it’s the way cleo was clearly playing with abe at the start but actually saw the charm in him and was actually upset when he finally digested his feelings for joan… i really hope they’re gonna be good friends in the future bc episode 7 seemed to be sort of a start for that friendship and them learning to be ok around eachother after the finale…

joan x cleo - ive always been scared to talk about this one bc some people see them as sisters, which i Really dont. they never acted in a sisterly way at all, and the living together thing lasted for like what. one episode. so i doubt it had any affect on how they view their relationship. but again absolutely fair if it makes you uncomfortable for this reason! but yeah i do like them. very very good trope and there can be some really cute stuff done with them dynamic wise

gandhabe my heart and soul my romeo and juliet my sun and moon my red and blue - AUGHGGGGG MY ALL TIME FAVOURITE. EVER. IN THE WHOLE SHOW FOR EVER they just have such sweet interactions and everything they do they do with the other in mind and i want them to have an emotional reunion in the season 3 finale sO SHRGFRHRVRRRRR RR RBR R R R. RR R. sorry this is mostly incoherent screaming rather than actual words I just DUCIGJGN LVOE GANDHABEEEEE EEYEHEEE THEYRE END GAME!! THEY ARE END GAME WHETHER ITS AS FRIENDS OR ROMANTICALLY RHEY ARE THE ONES

ok now onto the ones involving the new gen clones

harriucius - i like them its the second het ship in the show ive ever actually liked!! they just both go so well in so many ways, they both have almost the exact same struggles and cope in similar ways, but harriet has more of a hands on attitude with her problems, while confucius tends to avoid things. im VERY interested in how their relationship will go and i dont really think anything’s gonna happen to them bc i cant picture the show pairing either of them up with anyone else (mostly confucius tbh 😭)

joanharriet - i WISH this one was more acknowledged by the fandom like i think its the least popular one at least involving the newbies.. can you tell im a sucker for ships that are literally just two close friends who love eachother more than anything. lol. when i think of them i think of episode 5 which makes me extremely happy. like look me in the eyes and tell me that was not an absolutely beautiful wonderfully wrapped episode

johnfucius - gonna be honest i dont like this one. i know this is a really rich thing to say while talking about clone high season 2 but it just felt rushed, and especially with how they barely did anything after sleepover. like they were literally crying both of them being like OMG I FINALLY HAVE A FRIEND!! and then they proceed to have the most stale interactions with the most notable one being in the next episode and it’s literally just confucius encouraging jfk to avoid his problems like he does. not really good. but again if you enjoy them all the power to you, im happy you found something you like that hasn’t been ruined and seems pretty docile and chill compared to all the other ones :o) it’s very much a mostly fandom based ship

kahlopatra - BEAUTIFUL. BEAUTIFUL. I HAVE NO WORDS JUST BEAUTIFUL. there definitely was a lack of suspense like based off the intro and the slight buildup throughout the series BUT that literally doesn’t matter. out of every canon couple they are the absolute cutest im obsessed with the effect they have on eachother. especially on cleos side of things like ahhh!!!! she found someone she actually connects to genuinely!!!! i am so happy for her!!!!!!

tophucius - not much about this one its just pretty fun and silly . i feel bad for the people who thought something big was gonna be going on w them but the small details peppered in about them in sleepover were nice. i always liked how when confucius saw that topher typed your instead of you’re, he went “i thought so” like to me that confirms they do this all the time and they know it’s them. also really funny to imagine them being sworn enemies online but when they actually see eachother in school theyre Like oh shit hey man what’s up! hope youre well! like not even through gritted teeth or anything they’re just so chill irl for no reason

abetoph - Sigh i sure did save this one for last. while im a lot less comfortable with it now i still love thinking of them pre episode 8 and i do think their relationship is just ever so slightly more interesting now with the added double crossing n shit added to it. but im also sad they’ll never be the way they were may 24th to june 14th again . that specific time period of them is so comforting to me for no reason, all the memes and running jokes in the fandom involving them, all the wholesome fan work of them sleeping in tophers bed, watching stuff on tophers computer together, abe being tophers voice of the reason and the one person he actually likes, it’s just so … man. We Could Have Had It All. i love them for ever.

EYELESS JACK:

oooo okay this one is going to be interesting. because in my au/hc/whatever eyeless jack was originally a normal person who got dragged into this human sacrifice, he gets infected by this demonic curse that was created by zalgo, and is slowly morphing into this monster... would jack be aggressive to you in the beginning? sure he knows its not YOURE fault, but... i dont know how to word it, and i dont think he would be able to know how to word it. his life was snatched away from him due to the demon stuff, and youre a demon and it serves as a reminder, and. its unfair, and he does admit that when you guys actually start to foster a relationship... hmm... definitely a really slow burn, and i doubt you guys would end up in a romantic relationship.... oooooo bonus angst (and mayhaps fluff) what if youre in a similar situation as him and you guys bond over it

First, Thank you @watercolor-hearts for tagging me! when i saw it i knew it wouldnt be an easy task (mostly because i love to talk a lot lmao) but i liked the concept and felt that it would be interesting way to dive more into the ships i am fond of.

Pairing/Shippy list!

Here are the rules:

1. List your top seven ships.

2. Put them all in order for your love for them; 7 to 1, 1 being your favourite.

7. Ziam (Zayn/Liam Payne) (One Direction)

weird way to start this list, since its not f1 related, and i very much believe it's a dead ship now. But honestly they deserve this honorable mention for being the first ship i adopted, and i didnt even care about One Direction or their music around that time (in fact i cant remember even how i stumbled upon this ship lmao). These two together just had so much chemistry for me, either on stage, interviews, or anything really. also they were my introduction to this whole idea of "ship" (Larry was the absolute more popular one obviously, but it was Ziam that really SUCKED me in like a vacuum cleaner). Unfortunately, Liam's distasteful comments last year bursted my bubble about them (even though he has explained this year he wasn't in a good place, and i personally think they are okay with each other, even though still distant), but i still like to watch their compilation videos on youtube sometimes, it's quite bittersweet :')

6. Martian (Sebastian Vettel/Mark Webber) (Formula 1)

honestly i feel i just dont put these two higher because they feel somewhat new to me, like i need to dive into them more. I just think its such a fun ship in the sense that it has a looot of things going on at the same time, their very public rivalry and the famous multi 21, mark's angry face at that one press conference, it could be so so angsty but they just make me laugh (also, the making love on track quote is now burned into my brain so in no way they could be out of this list).

5. Christian horner/Toto wolff (Formula 1)

okay okay this is the part yall realize im actually crazy. but... they DO have chemistry when they are interacting, even in their non-amicable moments, and i do love myself some good enemies to lovers. Obviously it helps that i think they both are very actrattive, sexy middle aged men that have hunger for victory and i believe they hold so much respect and admiration for each other, considering they are the two most sucessfull TP's at this point. Also, HEIGHT DIFFERENCE.

4. Versainz (Max Verstappen/Carlos Sainz) (Formula 1)

(i wanted to find that ONE gif where he lifts carlos a little so bad but this one will do) Oh, this one really rocketed fast into my favorites. I just think they are just so wholesome. I always feel Max is warmer towards a certain number of drivers, and Carlos is one of them. And i dont even ship them in a ... kind of way, even tho it makes sense in my head the narrative that both were each others "first's" before going into bigger ships. Its just that it feels so special that both debuted together as teammates and, both took different trajectories in the way their career planned out, but theres still a genuine connection between them, at least in my view.

3. Maxiel (Max Verstappen/Daniel Ricciardo) (Formula 1)

I know its weird because i dont really post about them. But this falls into the same category as versainz for me, except that here there's a kind of dynamic that it makes me go "hmm... interesting". I always like to see max smiling and being happy because this boy went thru so much in his childhood, and oh how Daniel knows how to bring this side of Max. If Max can be warmer to certain drivers, for Daniel he has a whole SOFT SPOT, and i think that's very endearing. IMO, Daniel feels like the person that changed him in deeper ways we know, that one person that was indirectly a "life teacher" to him maybe, and thats special to me.

2. Brocedes (Lewis Hamilton/Nico Rosberg) (Formula 1)

Oh, the ANGSTY in this one. yes, this one deserves the ANGSTY in all caps because to me that's them. Oh to have lived through their divorce must have been heartbreaking but what a freaking cinematic ship this one is. I just can't ignore it. How it feels to me that Nico is the one who wears his heart on his sleeve, while Lewis has that chilling Capricorn control over his emotions is so. just so. And the fact that Nico's legacy is forever entangled in Lewis' name. If a movie screenwriter would come up with this, i'd think it would be overdramatic, but no, theyre actually this unhinged.

Charlos (Charles Leclerc/Carlos Sainz) (Formula 1)

how do i even start talking about these two idiots? Okay, so obviously i think they're both very attractive and that definetely helped me to ship them lmao. But thats kind of reductive, because these two have sooo much chemistry in my opinion, even before their ferrari days, there was so much potential waiting to bloom, and it did. I love their banter, their competitiveness, how they can get childlike around each other sometimes. How they are so physical, how they make each other laugh (let me not talk about their gazes to each other or i will not end this today). I love how Carlos doesn't hide he wants to compete with Charles (which brings him unnecessary hate sadly), and how both respect each other in this stance. There's a bit of angsty underneath this soft/fluffy surface too (more from Carlos' perspective imo - but lets not forget Charles and Silverstone 2022 too - this is my charlos angsty origin story), but they still find their way, and that kind of compels me even more into them. I just think theres so many layers, multitudes, in the way we can create, write and read about them. Absolute favorites.
