Beautiful 1881 Victorian Renaissance Revival is located on a block of brownstones in Jersey City, New Jersey. I looked it up, and it's safe during the day, but the area has a 26% higher crime rate than the rest of the city. The house has 5bds, 2ba, & is priced at $1.29M. (Zillow feels that it's worth $726.3K)

The house has magnificent original features, but it's a little worn.

Look at the magnificent mirror in the sitting room. I wonder what's under the carpet.

There's a glimpse of fallen plaster on the ceiling in this room, and a water stain on the left that goes from ceiling to floor.

These double doors open to the dining room.

The dining room is a large size.

The kitchen is not good. It was last renovated in the 60s and is very dated. For a home priced over $1M, it doesn't even offer a dishwasher. The stove fits partly into the original fireplace, but it looks like they refaced it with 60s faux brick.

The fireplaces are stunning. Some even have iron frames around the marble hearths, beautiful tile, and stained glass fire screens.

The millwork on the stairs is gorgeous. There's a stained glass window, too. The wallpaper looks like it needs to be replaced, which would be a big expensive undertaking.

The carpet on the stairs needs to be removed.

On the upper floor is a sitting room and bedrooms.

This bedroom gets a lot of natural light, has a big beautiful fireplace, and an alcove.

One of the 2 baths is up here.

And, this is another lovely fireplace in a bedroom.

The 2nd of 2 baths is kind of retro, so it must've been redone around the 40s or 50s.

thank u so much !! ^_^ i'm basically more of a law of assumption girl, but recently i started "using" the law of attraction. i never actually believed in the power of the law of attraction, but i didn't know it would be THAT easy 😭

1. gratitude - i started by finding things in my life that i'm grateful for. even the smallest things like eating my favorite food, waking up feeling energized, etc. i also have a journal, and i started listing 10 things that i'm grateful for at the end of each day. i didn't get to do this consecutively, but i think this helped a lot.

2. visualization - this is my favorite! there are a lot of "methods" i use for visualizing, so i'll break them down:

• i would lay down for hours with my eyes shut and pretend like i'm actually in my dream place. sometimes i would wake up and just say "good morning [dream city]" in my mind. sometimes i use the five senses method (i made this name up T_T). for example, my dream place would be somewhere with nature and beaches and a hot weather. i would literally try to FEEL the sun on my face, HEAR the birds or the ocean waves or SMELL the salt air.

• i made a vision board and set it as my wallpaper. i'm on my phone a lot so every time i pass by my home screen, i'm "reminded" that i'm already in the life that i've always wanted. my vision board includes my dream house, dream neighborhood, dream weather, and affirmations that make me feel good. remember not to take affirming as some kind of chore !

• when i didn't like the things happening in my 3D, i would simply think that i'm not even there at all, because i'm ALREADY in my dream life. a hack i use sometimes when a bad situation is happening is pretending that that situation exists in my past. this helped me a lot from anxieties and it actually helped me handle the situation better.

that's it!! i can't put anything else because those are literally the only things i did lol. even i didn't know it would be that easy! if you guys have any more questions, don't be shy to flood my message box! i love helping everyone and hearing your success stories as well !! ^_^

Chapter Five

Summary: One photo changes your whole life, when you accidentally bump into a celebrity and the world starts to believe that you are a couple.

"I'll have the chocolate truffle pie with whipped cream." You respond to the waiter who is taking your dessert order.

"I'll have the same as her, but without the cream." Pedro responds by closing the menu and handing it to the waiter.

"I think we have to take pictures of each other. Most of of couples do this and I can set it as my cell phone wallpaper. " You comment while taking a sip of the wine Pedro ordered.

"Any pose for a photo you want to suggest?" Pedro asks, seeming to agree with your idea.

"Just look at me, like you think I'm one of the most beautiful women you've ever seen." You suggest taking your cell phone and watching from the corner of your eye, Pedro takes his cell phone out of his pocket.

"I truly think you are one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen." He speaks subtly as if this sentence won't make an impact on you.

"That's what I call getting into character, Mr. Pascal." You say getting ready to take photos of your fake boyfriend. Unfortunately, you can't help but feel embarrassed because you think this is the level of flirting you're going to hear.

"Thanks for the compliment but it wasn't a character line. That was my honest opinion." And then you look at him, like someone who doesn't believe what he's saying but doesn't know how to react even if he be sincere. He then takes your photo while you look at him.

"The photo was supposed to be cute, now I'm going to look like a mess on your screen." You say, taking a careless photo of Pedro in return for him taking one of you.

"I see you're the vindictive type, should I be worried?" He asks softly, seeming to make fun of the situation. You look at him smiling, trying to show that you are satisfied with your action.

"If you don't get up to anything, you don't have to fear anything. In fact the photo turned out better than I thought." You say showing the result of the photo you took of Pedro. It was very natural beautiful. It almost looks like a real boyfriend with the handsome appearance.

"I would like you to explain in detail how you imagined this photo would turn out. Remember that's your boyfriend's face you're talking about." After hearing Pedro saying this, you immediately laugh. Before you react, the waiter brings the desserts. You and Pedro then begin to delicately eat your respective desserts.

"I used to ask the head chef here to make this dessert for me on my birthdays. In total I spent about four birthdays working here. It always seemed magical when I ate it this dessert. I guess I'll have to find another birthday tradition now." You say as you enjoy every piece of your chocolate pie.

"You seem to really like that pie. There's some cream in your mouth. Let me take it out." He says, passing his fingers under my lips and in reflex, I end up licking his fingers. I mean almost licking his fingers.

"I'm so sorry, that was reflexes being quicker than reasoning. I swear I didn't mean to..." You say, apologizing for the light lick. How embarrassing.

"Don't apologize. But it's interesting the types of reflexes you have. Hopefully this will give a sexier tone to our date." He says laughing at your face. He's barely started dating you and he no longer takes you seriously.

"I'm glad you're having fun. But after this I'm ready to go home. If you don't object." You don't know how to continue this dinner after what you did.

"Dear, if you want to go. We will. But there's no need to be embarrassed." Pedro kisses his cheek as he gets up to pull out your chair. He then surprises you by placing a light kiss on your neck just in time for a paparazzi to take a photo of the moment.

"How did you know the paparazzi was going to take this photo?" You ask quietly, avoiding that anyone except for Pedro could hear you.

"I didn't know. Now come on, I have to take you home." He speaks naturally, giving you a peck on your lips. Without any reaction, you spend a few seconds standing still, contemplating the man you are pretending to date. Your heart races as you realize that your fake boyfriend has unimaginable effects on you.

AGSZC phone wallpaper?

Angeal: It varies from pictures of his plants, nature photos he took on missions, and the occasional Zack selfie from when his mentee steals his phone.

Genesis: His lock screen is usually a Loveless quote or something related, while his home screen is typically something red and bold.

Cloud: He too likes to take pictures of the mountain area back home to keep as his lock screen. His home screen has been the same picture of him and his mother for years.

Zack: The ideal home screen/ lock screen backgrounds for him are photos from his days out with his friends and Aerith—this is when his lock screen isn't a picture of him out on a mission looking badass....which most of the time he forces Angeal or Kunsel to take of him.

Sephiroth: His lock screen is the standard default image that came with the phone. His home screen is a picture he took of Himself, Genesis, Angeal, Zack and Cloud caught in a rainstorm right outside HQ. They're all terribly wet and disheveled, but they're still laughing with their arms wrapped around each other. His home screen is, ironically, a picture of the first home he's ever had.

ohh the phone ask remind me that classic ask: what are the ros phone's homescreens and lockscreens? and do they change them when in a relationship with mc? <3 <3

Koda: His lock screen and home screen are just pictures of some of the prettier places he’s been. When he gets into a relationship with the MC? They’d probably stay the same. If the MC wanted to be his wallpaper though? He’d happily change it. It’s just not something he really thinks about that much.

Scarlett: Either the default ones or pictures of Zephyr and Lexa that Zephyr added, and Scarlett just couldn’t be bothered to change it. When in a relationship? Her lock screen would probably stay the same, or it’d might be a silhouette of the two of you together, with her home screen being a picture you had sneakily taken while in her arms and she’s looking down at you— a picture that she pretended to hate because it makes her look soft. Only for you to find it being her home screen however long later.

Cyrus/Cyra: Both their home and lock screen are the sunrise and sunset, respectively. It’s something that calms them when they see it, allowing their brain to rest for a small moment. When they get into a relationship? It’d probably change into pictures of you.

Quinn: Candid photos that were taken on one of their various hikes, which means they change a lot because they always find new places to explore. When they get into a relationship it’d shift to nature shots still, but it’d probably include you walking on the path in front of them.

Caden: Default. Will it change? Probably not. Caden doesn’t truly use their phone for personal use like that, it’s mainly for work and that’s about it.

Sloane: Just a black screen is their lock screen, but their home screen is a slightly blurry picture of an older looking pub with a neon light flashing in the front— a token for a place long gone, and past that’s better forgotten, but stubbornly hangs around. When in a relationship they’d happily change it to pictures of you both together, a happier future finally gracing the screen of their phone.

Blake: A random picture they took of the ocean is their lock screen and their home screen is a picture of you both from a while back that definitely looks old, but they absolutely love the memory that’s attached to the photo. It probably wouldn’t be changed once they get into a relationship, but they could always be convinced.

Reginald/Regina: Totally the type to have random quotes as their lock/home screen and wouldn’t be ashamed to admit it. They’d probably keep one quote and change the other into a photo of the two of you together. (Or they’d change it to a nice, aesthetically pleasing shot of their books. Only time will tell…) Or, better yet, a cute picture with you reading a book— they’d find it absolutely adorable.

i wonder if yves has a picture of us as his lockscreen wallpaper... if yes (or no), what picture would it be :0 ?

As much as Yves would love to just... plaster your face on everything he owns, he simply can't and shouldn't.

Yves didn't rise up the ranks by being nice and kind. He rose up by pushing others down. Naturally, he made an army of enemies over the years that would jump at the chance of abusing his weaknesses. It would be much safer to not expose any of his information at all, which sadly includes who he associates with regularly.

His lock screen is just a black background. His gallery contains no trace of you or him. Not even pictures that have accidental reflections of either face. All the metadata from his photos would be expunged.

He does not have any social media applications or games on his phone- not even digital maps. He has his GPS turned off at all times. Yves memorizes his all contact numbers by heart and he never gets a number wrong. His phone is just a slab he used to call or text (sometimes hack into other devices), Yves would delete his call logs, and text messages including yours after documenting all of them in their respective dossiers. When he isn't expecting any communication, his phone is always switched off. Sometimes, he would even remove the battery.

Truly crucial matters will be alerted through the pager hidden in his reliable bag.

That is why you never see him entertaining himself with his smartphone, Yves usually brings a book or a magazine with him. He's living as if he's still in the 80's. If you gave his car a shakedown, you would find atlases and a compass.

But that is just his public phone. He has a few that never leave his office. They're full of you. Videos, pictures, voice recordings, and backups of your messages. One of them is a carbon copy of your current phone, with all the same data you're holding. The other one is an old phone that you sold or lost, one of his precious artifacts of you.

His 'home' phone has pictures of your happiest moments on its lock screen and home screen. It doesn't necessarily have to be photos he took after meeting you. It could be a picture of you graduating high school, it could be a candid picture of you on a vacation trip when you were 8, it could be a picture of your reaction the moment you received your first 'adult' paycheck, it could be a photo of you trying marijuana for the first time, it could even be your baby photos if you weren't that happy in life.

However, phones that store your information aren't usually used as a phone. It just becomes precious data banks. And any evidence that he's spying on you will never be revealed, hence you will never know of its existence.

There is an exception, though. One of his phones is used to analyze what catches your eye on social media. It mirrors your screen in real time, he would record how many seconds you would linger on a post, how many times you rewatched a video, when you would do a double take, your scrolling speed and what exactly would you consume. He would connect the dots and correlate your media consumption habits to the circumstance on that day; would you scroll slower on a cold or hot day? Do you seek out food content if you're hungry or actively avoid it? Why did you rewatch that thirst trap video?

You can go through his phone if you want, but that means he gets to go through yours in return. And you're at a huge disadvantage here because you willingly give up your privacy to him while he gave you nothing. It's not like you have to, he's never on his phone and he's a recluse. What is there to discover?

You know Yves is much older than you are, he used to fuel his past cars with leaded gasoline for god's sake.

So you already expected that at some point along the way, he would comment on this generation's excessive usage of their gadgets. But that oddly never came, because your habits are a treasure trove of information. He would only deride the act if it's actively harming your health.

If you want to put his face on your lock and home screen, go ahead. He would be flattered. Profile picture? Sure. Yves would do some digital magic to make sure the wrong people never see it. As a social media post? Go ahead. Only those whom he knows wouldn't be a threat to you can perceive it.

Of course, just as any paranoid man would do, he would educate you on the dangers of releasing your information to the world. Giving you real-life examples where it could lead to horrifying results. But he would be lying if he said his heart doesn't swell at your willingness to brag about him to your friends.

Obviously, he's also stealing a copy of your lipstick-print-ridden face and printing a physical poster of it to frame in his office. He would openly display it if he obtained it by asking you, but he would hide it if he got the photo by hacking into your phone.

jotaro would be that discreet boyfriend who reacts to the photos you post but doesn't leave any comments. it goes against his nature, he likes privacy. but very secretly, he has taken a screenshot of each of these photos in which you are smiling, eating some dessert or even those in which you are just doing any activity. and you will only find out about this if you manage to enter the gallery of his cell phone to find an album of photos that bears your name. his wallpaper is probably a picture of your hand and his intertwined. if he feels a little more confident that he won't bother you, then it will be you and your bright smile from that time, to 'annoy' you, he took a picture of you during that date at your favorite restaurant. (it was definitely not to his own liking)

kakyoin is the type of boyfriend who leaves a like or a heart on the post, comments how beautiful you are and maybe, if he sees someone flirting in that comment box, he will start bragging about how lucky he is to have you as his partner (no, he doesn't need it. he'll say it anyways). actually, he loves to show you off, so it won't be strange that his lock screen or home screen will be a picture of you two hugging, kissing, or even just be a picture of you to see your beautiful face anytime he need it. oh, even a collage of your photos could adorn his phone.
