We were robbed of Michael and Percy friendship.
Idk,I think they just be so fun together. We get a little bit of it in tlo and what we get there is so fun.
Like I don't think people talk enough about it, but Michael is so chill in BoM compared to his interactions with Clarisse. And his interactions with Percy are so fun.
When Percy is so busy flirting with Annabeth, putting her in charge of organizing the Apollo cabin, he says something along the lines of "if anyone can do it its you 🥰" to her RIGHT IN FRONT OF MICHAEL
And Michael just go "Gee, thanks." And continues on without any more fuss.
Then before this Percy had just shoved Michael out of the way to look at Manhattan after it fell asleep, and he doesn't even complain.
And Percy generally seems completely upset when he can't find Michael before Silena calls. Like he's ready to call Blackjack and everything and the way Rick describes his yell caring in the morning stillness- gods I can ramble about this scene its honestly my favorite.
(Also,side note, is there a reason Percy didn't call Blackjack to take him and Will instead? Like Blackjack has carried two people easily before hasn't he? Iirc? Did Rick really want to have Percy ride a motorcycle or am I misremembering how much Blackjack can hold? This is a small detail but I just noticed it dhdh not as bad as Michael being mostly forgotten about after this chapter but still-)
Anyway, yeah. That and the fact Percy doesn't even think twice once he actually figured out what Michael was talking about before going breaking the bridge. He even goes "no way that will work-" WHY HES DOING IT. BUT STILL DOES IT.
Anyway. Yeah we were robbed of Percy and Michael friendship. And I will just have to live by through writing it myself even though I suck at writing Percy hdgdg

steph and duke hang out a lot while steph is in college, between classes and her apprenticeship with leslie, through that duke gets roped into helping out enough that his first aid skills get a workout
turns out in a medical setting having a guy who can tell u what's wrong on the inside without having to order imaging is really helpful!
having the signal as your radiologist would also kick ass tbh
