Dabi with teen reader who some times will stay up for too long at a time and when they can’t sleep they kinda lay next to dabi, on the floor beside his bed because his presence comforts them so he’ll wake up and roll over and there’s just reader, asleep on the floor :3

A/N: This became more of "Reader is an insomniac but Dabi's presence comforts them" but I hope this is fine. Also, I don't really know how insomnia works, so be aware of nontrue depiction of it.

Dabi had always thought that he was the night owl of the two of you, but he soon realized how he was completely wrong in that regard.

Some mornings when Dabi would wake up, he would see you sitting in the exact same place as before, eyebags formed under your eyes.

Dabi isn’t going to question you for the first few times but slowly the pattern becomes too noticeable to ignore.

It was a random evening when both of you were sitting on the couch. You had a few really bad nights behind and you were exhausted. And the sleep came to you when you were sitting with Dabi.

You thought about it for weeks. You were able to sleep perfectly fine leaning on Dabi’s shoulder.

It took two more weeks after awful insomnia when you broke.

You grabbed your pillow, duvet and an extra blanket from your bed before walking to Dabi’s room as quietly as possible.

You laid the blanket down and dropped yourself on the floor. Sleep took you in minutes.

Dabi woke up a few hours later. The night was warm, and he generally ran a bit too hot for the weather of Japan.

Dabi turned to his other side trying to find a new comfortable position to fall asleep once again.

But there you were on the floor, sleeping peacefully (for once) and covered by a blanket that only the top of your head could be seen.

Dabi was annoying and a bit of a brat, but he would kill anyone if someone were to wake you up.

So, instead of waking you up he smiles before falling back to sleep.

Becoming Big Brother (Izuku Edition)

Because this idea has been wormin' it's way through my mind lately

Oh boy oh boy is Izuku excited! The complete opposite reaction of Katsuki's.

Mama Inko tells him after his father's last visit that she was pregnant. It felt like he was getting a present! A sibling to fill the empty spot that Papa Hisashi left.

Once you're born, the Midoriya family is complete.

The three of you become a tight knit trio.

Izuku is a great help and takes his role as big brother seriously. He teaches you all about All Might even as you stare blankly at him with big, dark eyes.

Inko originally planned to have your crib in her room, but Izuku told her it was okay. He didn't mind sharing his room with his sister

Forgets how small he still is when he tries to attend to your fussing at night. When he realized he wasn't strong enough to safely get you out, Izuku climbs over and curls up next to you in the crib

He'll coo softly things about his favorite hero to get you to quiet down. It becomes your favorite lullaby.

"When will she start talking?" "Do you think she'll walk any time soon?" "Why is it taking her so long to grow?" The questions were incessant. Inko was patient, happy that her son was a doting brother.

However, he doesn't like it when you take his crayons and put them in your drooly mouth.

After school, Inko would bundle you up and bring you along when she went to pick Izuku up at the local preschool. Izuku would always tell his friends and teachers "That's my baby sister!" "Isn't she cute?"

He nearly starts to sob when you take your first steps. How you coast along the couch, gripping the cushions for support with your small fingers. Your other hand reaches out toward the tv. Toward All Might.

Helps you get through the dreaded teething pains as new teeth break through your gums.

Inko watches with a warm heart as Izuku offers you a frozen peach slice that always comfort you during your teething. Your's and Izuku's futures looked like they would be a beautiful one. She felt lucky that both of her children will look after one another. No doubt once you get older you'll want to care for Izuku too

To force more distance between both of you, you lash out with your flame whips to get him back. White hot flames bite at Dabi but instead of hissing in pain, Dabi’s grin stretches wider. Like he was proud of you and your quirk. Where was your back up? You were strong but there was no way you were winning a fight against this seasoned villain.

You’re about to call out for Shoto who you were always paired with as twins were endeared by the public. Before you could even push the first syllable out of your mouth, Dabi moves in a flash and has his hand covering your mouth as he tackles you to the ground.

“Look at those pretty mismatched eyes.” He’s chirping while he paws at your face, turning it this way and that. You’re shocked still at his actions. He could have easily killed you then and there. But he didn’t. When your brain starts to work again, you use your fiery hot quirk to dispel him away from you. Your quirk was affecting him physically but Dabi didn't mentally acknowledge the damage that was eating away at what skin remained on his arms. Charring it until the flames even started to eat away at the leather stapled patches that were covering the previously damaged parts of his skin.

There wasn't much you were afraid of except for your father. But Dabi not reacting to the pain terrified you. What human didn't feel pain?

"Aw what's wrong baby sister? Do I scare you? Yeah I know I don't have much of a pretty face anymore." His hand rubs against his chin, thinking back to what age you must have been when he'd "died". "Rest assured though, I'm your big brother." Like that would make everything better. He was still speaking so sweetly to you.

Why wasn't anyone else showing up? You didn't like the hungry stare that refused to leave you.

You swallow back fear that hammered in your throat "Villain, stay where you are. You have the right to remain silent, but any villainy you commit can and will be used against you in the court of justice."

Dabi really laughs at that. "Oh you're cute." He holds out his wrists in surrender. "You gonna handcuff me Ms. Hero? I'm sure you'll become Japan's Number One Hero if you bring me in." Mockery drips off every word. He wasn't taking you seriously.

Finally you feel the stinging cold of Shoto's ice strike past you and toward Dabi. It was clear that he rushed all the way there. Behind him are the rest of the heroes assigned to the district.

With ease, Dabi dodges the icy spikes of Shoto's fury. He cocks his head your way. No matter what his eyes never strayed from you. "What do 'ya say, Ms. Hero? When you're ready, come find me."

He was gone, swift in his retreat.

His whole reason for being changed that day. The Paranormal Liberation Front had never really been his passion anyway. It was just his means of getting revenge against Endeavor. But he realized he could have his cake and eat it too.
