Planets in retrograde in natal chart
Planets in retrograde in natal chart and what they mean. Now you need to take into consideration and in which house this planet reside and also what aspects are being made. One thing I may need to clarify in astrology the Moon and the Sun never go into retrograde motion. Some of us have more planets retrograde, others a few and some none of them. When planets are in retrograde in the natal chart, they shouldn't be stigmatized but more to understand where we may face difficulties in some shape or form also, I’ll be talking a bit about karma and the retrogrades in the natal chart. Retrograde planets turn energies inward, leading to a slower external manifestation. Those with retrograde planets tend to deeply contemplate these energies, a trait associated with geniuses and leaders. I may make a different post on the big asteroid in retrograde as well, comment if you want to see that.
Mercury retrograde turns inward, urging revisits and intuitive learning. Born during this, you're bright and adaptive, excelling in communication. Relationships embrace diverse views, but overthinking occurs; seek enriching connections, travel. Those with Mercury retrograde unconsciously access collective wisdom, sometimes facing communication struggles. Finding solace in non-verbal forms like music and art resonates with Mercury retrogrades—imagine musical geniuses. Past-life whispers sway relationships, seeing others as echoes of bygone connections.
Venus retrograde suggests challenges in freely sharing affection due to a sense of emotional scarcity. Life events can be filtered through a longing for love, often internalizing and magnifying hurts in relationships. This may stem from past-life pain, leading to a fear of vulnerability and difficulty fully embracing love. This retrograde can manifest as shyness and fear of intimacy, needing trust, or even as self-centeredness, requiring self-love and healthy affection expression. You possess a passion for pleasure, creativity, and visual arts. Adept in hosting, fashion, decor, and cooking, making everything delightful.
Mars retrograde guides your energy inward, sparking introspection into past moments and affecting how you perceive current connections. Prioritizing spiritual desires may unintentionally overshadow physical well-being; focusing on your holistic growth is important. While intimate experiences might differ due to internalized energy, nurturing, deep bonds can bring forth a more natural expression. Mars retrograde karma hints at efforts to reenact moments from the past, attempting unspoken wishes and sometimes reacting strongly to unmet hopes. Embracing self-assertion and risk-taking, despite challenges, forms a vital part of your journey towards self-discovery and empowerment.
Jupiter retrograde directs expansion inward, fostering profound inner growth, often through spiritual studies. There's a tendency to over-plan, leading to inaction at times. Embracing a spiritual path offers fulfilment, but mundane pursuits might leave you unsatisfied. Deja-vu experiences are common, and you're drawn to guiding others through counselling, teaching, or the law. While generous and hopeful, avoid over-giving or idealizing situations. Late-life marriage or parenthood is possible; be cautious of seeking to "fix" partners.
Saturn acts as a guide through challenges and life lessons, ultimately granting wisdom and compassion. Saturn retrograde signals a chance to revisit life, feeling the weight of two lifetimes simultaneously. Doubts about self-worth and capabilities arise, but you've grown through past struggles. Embracing Saturn's discipline leads to tapping into vast wisdom. Born during this phase, you're diligent, precise, and skilled, yet remember not to be overly critical. In relationships, avoid co-dependency and prioritize healthy boundaries, understanding you're not accountable for others' actions.
Uranus retrograde can make it challenging to fully embrace and express your unique self, sometimes leading to a reconnection with ideas from the past. Feeling a strong responsibility for personal growth, you're a visionary deeply attuned to life's complexities. Your authenticity is precious; it urges you to explore the uncharted and share your ideas, even if they're not easily understood. Karmic ties to family and society can bring struggles, reshaping your unconscious. In relationships, your inner conflicts might create turbulence; focusing on intuitive wisdom over emotional turmoil can guide you. It can lead to a fear of change or a longing for the familiar. Remember, you're not alone in this journey.
With Neptune retrograde in your chart, your imagination is vibrant, leading you to seek solace in dreams. Deep spirituality resides within, though expressing it can be a journey. At times, these struggles could lead you towards challenging paths, such as wrestling with addiction or assuming the role of a martyr. On a brighter note, this retrograde might bestow upon you finely tuned psychic sensitivities, allowing you to glimpse beyond the veil. However, your heightened emotional sensitivity can render you vulnerable to negativity, emphasizing your need for regular solitary moments to rejuvenate and shield your emotional sanctuary.
For those with Pluto retrograde, its transformative force delves deeply within, illuminating your inner world ahead of its outer expression. Past-life psychic abilities are present, meant for positive impact. You sense humanity's struggles within, embracing responsibility for collective awakening. Karmically, you owe humanity from a particular era, repaid through selfless service, offering the chance for profound spiritual growth and liberation from rebirth. Pluto's inner battle involves suppressed anger and control issues, concealing a powerful potential for profound transformation and insight. Handle with care, as betrayals can ignite their intensity.

How can I use astrology to find an ideal career for me?

Astrology and Career: Discover Your Cosmic Sea to Success

Tumblr media
career [ kuh-reer ] noun an occupation or profession, especially one requiring special training, followed as one's lifework: a person's progress or general course of action through life or through a phase of life, as in some profession or undertaking
We have several details to talk about how astrology can help us find our ideal profession and we use what we have in our power to strengthen ourselves and self-knowledge.
Tumblr media
Planets
Career as we saw earlier is not just work and your job, it encompasses many things in your life as it is something that takes many years, so all planets show something related to your career.
Sun: The radiant center of our being, revealing our mission, identity, and values. It guides us towards the areas where we seek recognition and how we can contribute to society.
Moon: Reflecting our emotional desires and commitments, the Moon unveils our preferences for a comfortable and nurturing work environment.
Mercury: The realm of analytical skills and communication, Mercury highlights areas where our rational thinking aids and supports us, making tasks easier and efficient.
Venus: Governing our ability to forge relationships and be adored, Venus unveils our potential to sell products or ideas, how others perceive us, and how we can add value.
Mars: The driving force behind our desires and motivations, Mars indicates where we can find energy, passion, and determination to propel us forward.
Ascendant: The extra personal talent, exclusive to each individual, offers a distinct insight into your inherent abilities and potential.
Tumblr media
Elements and Modalities
It can be used for each planet (it won't be so detailed, if you want me to talk about each one, like or reblog to show that you are interested in the subject...), but it is used to see the dominant modality and element in the natal chart.
Earth: Seeking security and practicality, Earth signs are adept at managing and structuring tasks, valuing their products and presenting their true worth.
Water: Emotionally driven, Water signs thrive in environments that foster connection and love, often leading to careers where care and bonding are vital.
Air: Driven by intellectual pursuits and interaction with people, Air signs flourish in professions that require intelligence and daily engagement of their diverse skills.
Fire: The passion and drive of Fire signs lead them towards pioneering roles and highly recognized positions, necessitating dynamic and energetic environments.
Cardinal: Initiators and independent spirits, Cardinal signs embrace challenges and take the lead in manifesting their intentions.
Fixed: Penchant for control and security, Fixed signs passionately pursue their interests and maintain unwavering dedication.
Mutable: Embracing change and creativity, Mutable signs excel in professions that allow flexibility and unconventional approaches.
Now... I know that you want career paths you can work on, but I first showed you how you can understand what are your needs and strengths before giving professions because I think it's more important for you to know your needs than to think "wow, look, my natal chart tells me to be a doctor, I think I'll drop everything to do medicine"
Tumblr media
How to know if you do well in this career??
1º Way: Identify the ruling planets of the earth houses: 2nd (work and money), 6th (job and routine), and 10th (career) house. Then, determine which house the ruling planet of this house is in. Next, refer to the list below and check if there's a career you like associated with that house. For example, my 2nd ruling planet is in Taurus, and my Venus is in the 5th. Therefore, I'll explore professions related to LEO/FIFTH HOUSE.
2º Way: Identify the career sign you are most interested in. Find the ruling planet of that sign and see if it corresponds to the 2nd,6th or 10th in your birth chart. For instance, I'm interested in reading tarot cards, so I'll check the position of my Pluto (ruler of the 8th). As it's in my 10th, tarot card reading could be a good career choice for me.
3º Way: Identify the planets that fall in your 2nd, 6th and 10th houses and see directly the professions it represents, knowing that in terms of CAREER, the 10th house is more important. So if I have no planets in the 2nd, Venus in the 6th and none in the 10th, I see the carrers that are represented by Venus.

Julia's Special Note
I enjoy helping people, so let me share a unique insight that you won't find anywhere else. Jupiter and Saturn play significant roles in determining our value in both personal and societal contexts. Jupiter represents the value that society places on us, while Saturn signifies the value we place on ourselves in relation to society. In short, these two planets can reveal insights into your salary and financial gains in your profession. The key aspect here is their conjunction. For many years, Jupiter and Saturn have been meeting in earth signs, indicating a strong emphasis on material values, productivity, and tangible outcomes. This means that society has highly valued material success, productivity, and practical skills. However, over the next 200 years, they will conjoin in air signs, signaling a shift in societal values. The focus will move towards knowledge, expertise, teaching abilities, effective communication, and the dissemination of information. In this new era, what garners a good salary today may no longer hold the same value in 200 years. Thus, it won't matter so much what profession you have, but rather, the greatest differentiating factor for achieving good financial gains will be how much you know and specialize in your chosen field, rather than just how much you produce.

One of my favorite things about the writing of Black Sails is that there are parts of it that have so many LAYERS. John Silver looks at Flint, a knife at his throat, and says “when you were sinking into the sea, who was it you imagined pulled you up onto that beach?” and of course it has a literal sense in that Silver WAS the one who pulled him up onto the beach. But also, with a bird’s eye view of the whole show, it’s also a metaphor for Silver and Flint’s developing relationship, for the way that Flint is lost Odysseus, drowning, for the way that Silver is literally the mythical archetype of literary pirate kind and always there at the exact right narrative moment to enact the exact right plot action to keep the merciless beautiful narrative going. Hell, the SEA ITSELF is such a mythologically laden presence already - Flint is drowning in self hatred and doubt and bitter, furious anger at the futility of everything, and here comes Silver, who not FIVE MINUTES AGO was ready to walk out on him entirely, looking at him with sea colored fucking eyes and saying “have you considered that you, an isolated fragile human, ought to trust me, the most mercurial and slippery and adept manipulator you have ever met?” THERE ARE ONION LEVEL FUCKING LAYERS, PEOPLE!!!!
and sometimes it’s fruit fruit, tits tits, WELL WHAT THE FUCK DIDJA THINK WAS GONNA HAPPEN?!?!?!

astro notes: mercury 🧚🏿‍♀️
Tumblr media
Mercury holds a prominent place in both alchemical and esoteric traditions, embodying a complex array of symbolic meanings and properties. In alchemy, Mercury is often represented by the symbol of the caduceus, a staff entwined by two serpents and crowned with wings, symbolizing both the volatile and fixed aspects of the element.
Mercury's symbolism in alchemy encapsulates the paradoxical nature of transformation. It embodies both volatility and fixity, representing the dynamic interplay between the ever-changing and the stable aspects of existence. This duality is reflected in Mercury's fluid nature, capable of assuming various forms while retaining its essential identity. In alchemical imagery, Mercury often appears as a flowing substance, symbolizing its ability to adapt and transform.
Mercury is associated with the bridging of opposites. As the intermediary between the spiritual and material realms, it facilitates the union of disparate elements, leading to synthesis and integration. This bridging function is essential in alchemical transmutation, where Mercury acts as the catalyst for the transformation of base substances into higher forms of existence.
Mercury is linked to the mind, communication, and intellect. It represents the mental faculties, including rational thought, analytical prowess, and linguistic abilities. Mercury's association with communication extends beyond verbal expression to encompass the exchange of ideas, the transmission of knowledge, and the dissemination of wisdom. Thus, Mercury serves as both the messenger and the medium through which insights are shared and understanding is achieved.
Within the alchemical tradition, Mercury holds a central position as one of the three foundational elements, along with Sulfur and Salt. These elements form the basis of alchemical work, representing the essential principles underlying the processes of transformation and transmutation.
Mercury, in its symbolic form, represents the animating spirit or the essence of life within matter. It embodies the vital force that imbues all living organisms with energy and vitality. In the alchemical quest for the Philosopher's Stone, Mercury serves as the primary agent of transformation, facilitating the transmutation of base metals into gold and the attainment of spiritual enlightenment.
As the intermediary between the spiritual and material realms, Mercury facilitates the exchange of energy and consciousness, enabling the alchemist to harness the transformative power of the universe. Through the alchemical process, Mercury guides the adept on a journey of self-discovery and spiritual evolution, leading to the realization of inner alchemy and the integration of the divine within the self.
In astrology and esotericism, Mercury is associated with the element of air and rules over the signs of Gemini and Virgo. Mercury's influence encompasses communication, intellect, adaptability, and cunning, reflecting its multifaceted nature.
As the ruler of Gemini, Mercury governs the realm of thought processes, mental agility, and intellectual curiosity. Individuals born under this sign are often characterized by their quick wit, versatile minds, and adept communication skills. They excel in areas such as writing, public speaking, and problem-solving, leveraging Mercury's influence to express themselves effectively and engage with the world around them.
In Virgo, Mercury's influence manifests in meticulous attention to detail, analytical precision, and practicality. Virgoans are known for their methodical approach to tasks, organizational abilities, and critical thinking skills. They excel in professions that require precision, efficiency, and attention to detail, leveraging Mercury's influence to analyze complex situations and find practical solutions.

Jacob’s Ladder
The story of Jacob’s Ladder is an ancient allegorical biblical tale, describing the alchemical process of reaching complete Gnosis, or what some may call Sainthood, Buddhahood or enlightenment. A symbolic ladder that we all must climb if we wish to reach the spiritual heights of the divine in the heavens while we are encased in physical matter here on earth. As we climb, we must purify ourselves, our thoughts, habits and actions, so that we may reach that seventh and final step of our ascent, in order to activate all of our seven senses and DNA.
The first step of Jacob’s ladder is the personal purification of your body, mind and soul that is represented by the moon. The second rung on the ladder is education intelligence managed by Mercury. The third step is beauty represented by Venus. The fourth rung is the sun, which is the life-giver. The fifth is competition by mars to help us fight the good fight. The fight against darkness with light. Against lies with truth. The sixth rung in the ladder is Jupiter which is the symbol of intellectual maturity and judgement. The seventh and last step of the ladder is Saturn which represents the true sage, adept and master of Wisdom. The perfect balance of spiritual and material laws. All greatness is service and we must obey the laws of leadership. --Manly P. Hall

psychic/intuitive astro placements for Pluto
Tumblr media
In Astrology, Pluto symbolises regeneration, transformation, and spiritual rebirth. This planet represents subconscious forces, ruling all that is below the surface. A Starseed origin in alignment here is the origin in which you're most connected to in the underworld. This is your 1st and 2nd dimensional origin expression.
Pluto is a generational planet that changes signs between every 12-31 years, and governs the sign of Scorpio.
*Psychic/Intuitive Astrological placements for the planet Pluto* "I Empower"
Sagittarius: (1995-2008) great prophetic abilities were stimulated during Pluto's time in Sagittarius. These natal chart holders were born with natural visionary abilities and a faith in human nature. Especially if Pluto is in alignment with Lyra or the Shaula Starseed origin which run along the Sagittarius degrees.
Scorpio: (1983-1995) these natal chart holders were born with a strong intuition and a great psychic ability that is likely to be well-developed. Especially if Pluto is in alignment with the stargate Antares (The Family of Archangel Uriel) which runs along the Scorpio degrees. Pluto is most comfortable here in its home sign, but since Pluto is a generational planet other psychic/intuitive aspects/natal placements are needed to activate it.
Pluto in 1st house: intuitive. These chart holders radiate intensity naturally and are likely to have well-developed instincts. Especially if Pluto is running along an Aries degree (regardless of what sign Pluto is in) which is connected to the stargate Pleiades.
Pluto in 3rd house: mystic, intuitive, and prone to prophetic visions. Especially if Pluto is running along a Gemini degree which is connected to the Orion stargate. These chart holders have a very analytic mind and they instinctively search for hidden meanings. They are very observant and they learn through observation of others.
Pluto in 5th house: intuitive, creative, and possess powerful visionary capabilities. These chart holders act as creative catalysts for the collective and they possess powerful creative impulses. Especially if Pluto is running along a Leo degree which is connected to the Regulus Starseed origin (The Family of Archangel Raphael.)
Pluto in 8th house: these chart holders possess a strong intuition and are possibly clairvoyant. They're likely to experience more unusual events than others due to their fascination of all that is hidden, taboo, or "dark." They are gifted with great healing abilities that come naturally to them. Especially if Pluto is running along a Scorpio degree which is connected to the stargate Antares (The Family of Archangel Uriel.)
Pluto in 9th house: intuitive, drawn to psychology and/or occult topics, very mystical. These chart holders possess a great inner depth to them and a profound, unique inner wisdom. Some of these chart holders make for the greatest spiritual teachers/leaders. Especially if Pluto is running along a Sagittarius degree which is connected to the Lyra and Shaula Starseed origin.
Pluto in 12th house: possess a deep healing power, intuitive and mystical in nature. Especially if Pluto is running along a Pisces degree which is connected to the Andromeda Galaxy. These chart holders are inclined to go deep, explore the meaning behind their dreams, and analyze their personal psychology. They are quite adept at comprehending others' motives, and it's possible that they discover they have healing powers and tune in quite quickly to others' struggles and vulnerabilities. Understanding more than most. They have a strong empathy with a sense that we are all capable of good and evil. (This goes for most 12th house placements, though. Especially Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Neptune, and/or Pluto in this position.)
Note: not all astrological placements for Pluto are listed. If your Pluto house/sign is not listed that does not mean that you do not have other intuitive/psychic indicators in your chart. Everybody has intuitive and psychic placements to one degree or another in their astrological chart. This is why it is important to refer to the entire astrological chart as a whole! <3
What house/sign is your Pluto in? Note below! Mine's in 5th house Sagittarius! :)

Cancer Placement Observations ~ Part 1
From someone who both has and been around Cancer placements their whole life.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Moms with cancer placements frequently still prefer to be addressed as "mommy," "mama," or any other name their children used to call them as children.
The 9H Cancer may have strong emotional ties to their opinions and values.
Not all Cancer Moons good processing their emotions. Yes, they may be adept at communicating and understanding them, but depending on the circumstances and the house it is in, processing may be challenging for some.
Cancer Mars placements, in particular, are excellent leaders who are frequently overlooked. Why? People are at ease around the naive and don't feel under pressure or overwhelmed since they perceive the naive as understanding and upfront.
The voice of 3H Cancer are very soothing, tranquil, and gentle. Mercury's in Cancer also apply to this.
Cancer Placements consistently is able to make their food feel comforting, at home, and prepared with love.
A Cancer Mercury will frequently be able to perceive and comprehend your current feelings and emotions when you speak to them. When speaking to someone they care about, they are especially watchful because they want to make sure they don't miss anything so they can console or assist them if they are feeling down or anything of the kind.
If they and their spouse have a history together, 7H Cancer people may not want to leave them or find it difficult to do so.
Of all the signs, Cancer Placements are the best at expressing and letting their inner kid out, depending on the aspects, houses, and other signs in one's chart.
People underrate how popular and successful naives with a Cancer MC can be, in my opinion. Popular and well-respected individuals include Beyonce, Britney Spears, Jennifer Aniston, and Kendrick Lamar.
How are your mother-related problems/mommy issues going, Cancer Lilith?
Cancer Venus frequently has fantasies about a childhood sweetheart.
Not all Cancer Placements get along well with their families or mothers. It does have a big impact and role on who they are and thier life.
Typically, 5H Cancer are wonderful parents who want to make sure their child is happy, safe, and protected.

Astrology observations II
✨Not a professional astrologer, these are just my personal observations. Also plz don't plagarize✨
Highlights: synastry, Saturn, Neptune, Artist's birth charts, sun square moon.
✍︎Having your Mercury in somebody's 12th house in friendship synastry means that you might be more of a listener than a talker, especially if you aren't particularly close.
✍︎10th or 4th house Mercury in synastry might indicate talking lots about one's family and childhood
✍︎Neptune in 3rd h/Mercury trine/conjunct/sextile Neptune can indicate someone good at articulating their feelings or adept at poetry
✍︎Actually any Neptune in the 3rd/5th/gemini/Leo(sometimes Virgo) or any aspects to Mercury are really common in writers, poets, musicians or any artists' birth charts, really.
✍︎(I've also noticed Uranus - n node aspects in writers too)
✍︎Saturn in the ninth house could indicate somebody who travels lots in their later years
✍︎Harsh Saturn aspects to Mars/Asc can make people seem arrogant and proud even if they're just shy. Think Mr Darcy in pride and prejudice.
✍︎I feel so bad for all you sun square moons out there stay strong.

composite mercury in 2nd: it’s very likely that at the beginning of the relationship the conversation didn’t flow as much, but over time it became stronger. this couple speaks clearly with each other, they calmly express their wishes or requirements to have a more fruitful relationship, in the same way, they listen carefully to each other. these people always try to keep the promises they make. they both give the same importance to maintaining a stable communication, they hate ghosting and it’s unlikely that they will do it. they may have similar values and goals alike. they’ll seek to keep the relationship stable regardless of the distance, but they will always prefer to communicate face to face.
composite venus:

composite venus in 8th: this relationship is infused with intense emotions, passion, and a powerful attraction. the couple's connection is not superficial and may involve a merging of identities on an emotional, spiritual, or financial level. there may be a tendency to keep the relationship private or hidden, as the eighth house is associated with secrecy and hidden agendas. the couple also experiences a strong desire to control or possess each other, which could lead to issues of jealousy or possessiveness. this relationship is emotionally charged.
composite mars:
leo mars: this mars requires that the relationship gets a lot of energy and attention from the individuals involved. they may be larger than life and might be another couple that argues in public—and then makes up on the park bench with abandon. other kids will love these two, though their own children may find them over-the-top and embarrassing. naturally extroverted, generous, and dynamic, this union will find themselves holding court. action is expressed through surrounding themselves with creative projects and interesting people.
composite mars in 9th : as a couple, there is an assertiveness in expressing philosophical or ideological views with each other when mars falls into the ninth-house of a composite chart. the two of you will not hold back your opinions in these matters because your egos are inflated by voicing your views to each other or to the world. there is a sense of power that is gained by thinking through your ideas and expressing them. whenever religious, political, or philosophical topics arise, you are likely to debate the issue in an honest and blunt way. the debates enliven and invigorate you. when you agree on the issues, you are likely to take your views out in the world and act as a strong force together as a couple in selling your point of view to others. you are likely to seek out travel as a couple because the experience acts as a contrast between who you are, compared to the rest of the world. it helps you understand your own identity better, and therefore, lends clarity to your self-expression. there is a drive to experience the world on a grand scale in order to understand yourselves better. you better understand where you fit into the world as a couple by exploring different ideas, cultures, and places. it feels like you grow as a couple when you discuss ideas. whether or not you agree or disagree, the energy between is fueled by the discussion.
