If you were playing a super sincere classic fantasy rpg about traveling the world with a party of friends having a long adventure to defeat the Demon King (or whatever) would you want the ending to keep playing it straight, or have some kind of sad/dark twist that re-contextualizes the whole adventure? (ie Undertale true end, In Stars and Time, Omori (sort of)) And how do you feel about other classic rpgs? (Old Final Fantasy, Golden Sun, Chronotrigger, Secret of Mana...)
If you have a more complicated answer, let me know in the tags!

Golden Sun propaganda
1. The sass
(Not including the best one of all, because it would spoil the incredible ending. But iykyk)
2. #relatable
I use these 2 all the time
3. The NPC. If you play these games, please interact with all of them and read their minds (best feature btw). They're so fun
There are many many more ("If we were all trees, there would be no war. Because we would be trees"), but I can only post 10 pics and also, I don't have that many ready on hand.
But these games are so great. The gameplay is fun and challenging, the story is catching (with a great twist at the beginning of the second game), and as you can see, the dialogues are cherries on top.

Golden Sun 2, but it's super HD
A one week project I was working on because Golden Sun 2 is one of my favorite RPGs of all time.
Overpainting the screenshot and giving the graphics updates here and there was actually great practice, especially seeing all the crazy colorramps going on in the background. If I find the time I wanna make a little recap to describe the process, if people are interested. I had a lot of fun for sure :)
