Summary: Bucky and Sam Being loving, overprotective father figures for Steve's child.

You were heartbroken when Steve didn't come back after returning the infinity stones. You were also betrayed that he talked to Bucky about it but not you.

Sam saw how uncomfortable you were around Bucky and immediately took you in. You stayed with him and started healing from the pain your father left you with.

When you cry over your dad, Sam pulls you into a hug and holds you tightly. He rubs your back in hopes of comforting you.

Eventually you start to miss Bucky so Sam starts to get in contact with him. Both are extremely overprotective of you and treat you like your their own child.

You are closer to Sam because of the time spent with him after loosing your dad, so Bucky gets jealous and tries to win you over.

They joke a lot about who you like more. If John Walker messes with you, he'll have to deal with two pissed off dads. Let's just say he won't be near you again.

Bucky tells you stories about your dad and what he was like before Captain America. Sometimes the two of you cry while thinking of happy memories with Steve.

Bucky and Sam love you more than life itself and are willing to do anything to keep you happy.

What Build A Bear They Get You And How They Surprise You With It

(Part one includes; Loki, Bucky Barnes, Peter Parker, Peter Maximoff, and Druig)

Part Two

Loki

If they had an alligator that’s what Loki would get you. Otherwise he would just get something aquatic. Maybe an Axolotl. The scent would be thin mints, and I honestly don’t think he’d put in a voice recording. He’d allow you the privilege of naming it to which you would name it Loki. He’d get slightly annoyed at that choice but he’d just be happy you like it.

Why did he get you this?

He noticed you were upset lately and he thought it was a good pick me up.

Bucky Barnes

Now he may seem cold but somewhere behind his frozen heart is still a romantic. So be sure he’d get you one for those red rose bears. The scent is flowers or roses. Although Buck’s has a warm heart deep down, he still has some trouble expressing himself easily so the sound included in the bear would be the sound of a beating heartbeat. He wouldn’t give the bear a name, he’d let you name it.

Why did he get you this?

It was an anniversary occasion and he thought the rose bear would be much more romantic than just a regular bear and flowers themselves.

Peter Parker

Peter definitely would get you a very big brown squeezable puppy with huge dangling ears. The scent would be pumpkin spice because that smell always just fills you with warmth. The voice recording would be something encouraging like, “hey…you got this. I believe in you.” The name he gives it, is the nickname that he calls you.

Why did he get you this?

Well for one, Peter feels bad that he’s always outfighting crime, sometimes letting days go by when you two can’t meet face to face and two, he knows how stressed you get by everyday life.

Peter Maximoff

Peter would pick his choices to be funny. He’d pick a sloth to be ironic and the scent would be birthday cake or some other type of sweet pastry you both like. The voice recording would be something totally dumb like when you squeezed it, it would say, “don’t squeeze too hard.” He chose that phrase figuring it would at least get a smile from you every time you heard it. He was right.

Why did he get you this?

Okay so yes he did it for laughs. But, he also did it to be sweet. He felt like he hadn’t been doing enough recently so he got it and knowing you, he knew you would love it.

Druig

Longhorn. He’d definitely choose a longhorn. Just because it’s so out there and it’s familiar. For scent he’d choose peaches because in the village it’s one of the most delicious and delicate aromas. He’d definitely leave a voice recording, maybe one like, “I miss you. Do you miss me?” He told you to squeeze it only when you’re really missing him.

Why did he get you this?

Druig’s seen the brand around before especially when he’s at Phastos’ house and there’s commercials and his kid has one. So he figured why not bring one home as like a little token of life outside the village.

Bucky:He would be a little nervous when you ask him he does want kids but i feel like he would be scared to have children not knowing what the serum would do or affect but he definitely does want to be a dad

Sam:He would have no problem answering this question he definitely wants to be a dad he wants 2 to 3 kids he definitely wants a little girl so.... he would probably keep getting you pregnant until you had a girl i feel like that would be his dream would be to have a baby girl he would obviously be happy with baby boys and would love them unconditionally but he’s always wanted a baby girl

Loki:He would be a little taken back like not expecting the question i feel like at first he would say none but i feel like it’s because he’s scared to be a father and he’s scared he wouldn’t be a good father but over time and after convincing and comforting him he would want a child or two

Sick Mornings

dad!Clint x teen!GN!yn

Summary: you work for the avengers and was adopted by Clint. When you get sick, he takes care of you.

Although you were adopted, Clint was more protective with you than his other children. That was because you had powers and worked for the avengers.

You had enchanced senses similar to Peter except you could do things like see through walls.

"Hey, yn..? We have a mission today, you need to get ready." Clint said softly as he slowly opened your door.

You were still asleep and your face was paler than usual. He frowned as he hurried to your side.

He felt your head, looking to see if your sick. Your body was burning up so he walked out of the room to call Tony.

Clint sighed as Tony said "of course, you two can take the day off." Clint went to go make you breakfast and get you some meds to make you feel better.

You started waking up as Clint rubbed your side. "Hey, sweetie. It's time to wake up... Your sick. I got you some meds but you need to eat first."

You nodded as you starting eating your food. "How are you feeling?" He asked as you shrugged. Your throat hurt too much to talk. He handed you your water and two pills and you took them both before swallowing the pills.

When you finished your food and started feeling better he turned on your TV and spent the day watching your favorite movies.

He refused to let you out of bed unless it was to use the bathroom or something else important.

"I love you baby... go get some rest." He says as he tucks you in. He kisses your cheeks before standing up to walk away.

"Can you stay? ...until I fall asleep?" You ask nervously. He chuckles and walks to your side. He sits on the side of your bed and rubs your aching stomach as you fall asleep.

Part One

Steven Grant

Steven honestly wouldn’t even know where to start with this gift. He’d be so conflicted he’d just end up choosing an animal that he enjoyed or one that seemed like a unique option, like a sheep. The scent would no doubt be lavender and the sound would be him saying “love you, gators.” Which he know doubt rambled to the worker that that was just something he liked to say to which they just smiled and nodded. Steven would name It V because he’s Steven with a V.

Why did he get you this?

Steven got it because he felt like, why not? For one you deserve it. And for another he was just happy that you were together with him.

Thor

Thor would come in complaining how he couldn’t believe they had a Thor bear. Of course they had a few for other avengers but no, not him. He’d then take out a light brown fluffy bear with a Mjolnir hammer and he’d say this was the best he could find. You’d easily take it in arms squeezing it. The scent would be hot chocolate and the voice recording would be something bold or something jokingly like, “leave some squeezes for the actual me. Just kidding I love you.”

Why did he get you this?

He’s seen the logo before and had grown curious. Once inside he genuinely thought it was just a cute and fun idea and that you’d love it. Which he was completely right about. And he’d promise he’d bring you along next time.

Matt Murdock

Matt would end up choosing a dark brown bear. For the scent he’d pick s’mores. Because fire, delicious snacks, he likes the calming image that came to his head when he smelt the scent. He wouldn’t include a sound just taking the bear the way it was. And he’d also let you choose the name as well.

Why did he get you this?

Foggy actually suggested the idea. Said it would be viewed as “quite romantic of him,” so he took Matt in slightly against his will. Not going to lie he thought the idea was sort of silly but he was happy anyways when he heard the change in your heartbeat when you held the bear tight.

Ben Poindexter

Dex would get you a stuffed bear that’s exactly your favorite color and he’d get the exact scent that he knows you like. You like cotton candy? He got it! You like peach? he’ll put that in! But be sure that he already knows exactly what you like and that he’ll get it. Here’s the thing with Dex though, he’d get the color and scent you like but then have it wear a hoodie or have it dressed like him. He’d have it say a simple message like I love you. And he’d name it Dex so you could cuddle with him.

Why did he get you this?

Because he genuinely thought the idea was cute. He could literally imagine you with one. He’d think it’d also be cute to get mating ones so be sure that he’s making one for himself but giving it your name.

Scott Lang

He’d get you a raccoon. Why? You might ask. Well he was a thief, raccoons are known to be thieves. He thought it would be cute. The scent would be popcorn because Scott knows you’ll be snuggling the little guy while you’re watching movies. The sound he’d include would be simple, “have a great day and I love you.” He would be a little annoyed at himself because he had all day to plan things but that’s the best he could do on the spot. He’d give it a random silly name.

Why did he get you this?

You actually went with him and Cassie a week before and got one for her. There was a moment where he stood back and watched you and Cassie pick out what to get for her and he realized then that he wanted to get one for you. So it was more of an impulsive, I love you sort of thing.

i still can’t believe they used the instrumental to cigarette daydreams for this mission like that was honest to god attempted murder by insomniac. the song, the nostalgia for the kids they were before emily and ben died and harry got sick, the warm autumn colors, the reunion patching together a pivotal part of peter’s life at a time he literally needs it most after getting fired from brooklyn visions. and in the scene before this, peter’s remembering may’s lesson about maintaining balance in his life then boom the return of one of the people who keep him rooted in life outside the mask when it’s so easy to breeze by it. first act of sm2 i love you.

#also the yearning for something lost in the lyrics to cigarette daydreams…#several people in the insomniac writer’s room were not playing about parksborn #there are times when I feel this game was shorter than the first and wish we’d had more in the third act #but one thing I really appreciate is how much they commit to Harry’s friendship with Peter in the time they’re given #we don’t know him in the first game beyond the research station messages #and they bridged that gap so well similar to how they developed peter and otto before everything also crumbles in sm1 #can you tell I’m replaying rn and experiencing a lot of emotions again #wish I could’ve bottled up and saved my first reaction to this mission in October bc whew #the song floored me #parksborn #peter parker #harry osborn #marvel’s spider-man 2 #spider man 2 ps5

I think I'm particularly pleased about the celia reveal because, as someone who was raised by a single mother, I don't think I often see single mothers in fiction who are reasonably well adjusted and actually care about their kids? I feel like I see happy couples, tortured but loving and soulful single dads, and unstable/abusive single mothers. which isn't to say I think any of those situations are invalid to represent or anything, but when single mothers are always shown as uniquely awful in comparison to married mothers and single dads, the message starts to feel very "women are irresponsible and need a strong man to balance them out."

Bucky:He would be sad but he would try not to show it he would be by your side and never want to leave you he would take time off from missions for however long you needed him,he would give you all the support you would need

Loki:He would be sad and would have a hard time expressing his feelings but if you asked him he would,he would do whatever for you get you whatever you need,wouldn’t leave your side if anyone wanted to talk to you about anything he wouldn’t let them if he knew it would upset you he would take messages from the people and then wouldn’t tell you until you were feeling better

Sam:He wouldn’t hide his emotions but he wouldn’t want to make you upset so he wouldn’t overwhelm you with his emotions along with yours but he will show them and you can tell how sad and down he is about the baby and i feel like he would need some convincing in the future to try for another baby he would make you breakfast in bed every morning and wouldn’t force you to do something you don’t want to,if you want to lay in bed he is right there with you and taking care of you

Steve: He would be sad but wouldn’t show it or talk about it but it is noticeable in the way he acts he’s not as upbeat and isn’t as happy doesn’t have motivation to do anything and doesn’t go on missions he stays with you but after a week he would try to get you out and about to get some sunshine and tries everything to make you feel better
