“Are you sure about this?” You sat on the woman’s lap, nervous glances being sent each way. Her hand came to your cheek, her thumb rubbing small, gentle circles to ease your fear.
“Of course, my love. I promise you, no one’s going to see us.” The car had tinted windows, blocking anyone’s insight but gifting you the ability to see anyone nearby.
“But my parents-“
“They won’t notice you’re gone, okay? We won’t get caught.” You hesitantly agreed, sucking in a breath as you allowed her to guide your hips against her waist. Her jeans teased your covered cunt, the cold, metal button sending shocks through your body and causing you to whimper. Your grip fell upon her shoulders, your panties being pushed to the side by Maria’s wandering fingers.
“Pinky promise?” She linked her pinky with yours, kissing the tip before doing the same to your lips, leaving you with a goofy grin and cheeks bright red.
“Pinky promise.” You trailed your hands down, asking for permission with your eyes before you dipped your hands beneath her shirt, cupping her breasts and choking out a moan as her thumb pressed against your clit. She smirked, leaning forward as she connected her chapped lips with the skin of your neck, creating a suction that left dark markings along the area, and she knew you’d whine and groan about it later on. If your parents saw, they’d kill her. They never liked her in general, many people don’t, but knowing she was having sex with their child and ruining their sweet doves' innocence would only cause harsher amounts of bile in their throats.
“Did that feel good?” She asked when receiving a loud moan, your lips parting as your hips sped up. Her fingers teased your hole, dipping in and out in anticipation that riled you up.
“Mhm!” You bit your tongue to silence the threatening sound, but she wasn’t having it.
“No, baby, I want to hear you.” You threw your head back, but she slowly eased you forward by your chin, and your gaze soon met her hazy one. The windows began to blur along with your mind, and drool trailed on your lip.
“Awh, has my puppy gone dumb already? I thought you were my smart little mutt, I guess I was wrong.” You shook your head quickly. She hissed as you tugged on her nipples accidentally, but you barely even noticed.
“No, I-I’m ‘mart, Mommy.” She hummed, and you could tell she didn’t believe you. You stuffed your head in her neck, sniffing her sweet scent with a smile.
“Mommy’s dumb pup, huh? Is that what you are, sweetheart?” You sniffled and shook your head once again, whimpering as two fingers slowly eased into you. You mumbled out your denial, but she only chuckled your way.
“Shh, just bounce on Mommy’s fingers.” You did as told, whispering incoherent pleas as she added a third finger. She shushed you every time you tried to speak, insisting you weren’t of the intelligence level to form a functional thought.
“M-Mommy- g’nna…cum.” You told her, earning a pout of her lips in response. She pulled on your hair, forming a ponytail as she did so. Allowing your head to loll back as she kissed her way up to your ear, nibbling softly on the skin as she spoke,
“You better not fucking cum. Only I can give you permission, got that?” You nodded slowly, crying out with a pained sob as she forced you to ride her faster. She repeatedly hit your g-spot, and you could’ve screamed from the large amount of pleasure she gifted you.
“You think you can decide that on your own, hm? You think Mommy doesn’t matter anymore?”
“No, Mommy, I- I didn’t me-mean to-“
“You don’t need Mommy’s help anymore, is that it? Are you suddenly a big girl, you can think on your own?” You fought the coil building in your stomach with hopes of her approval.
“I-I need you, I do! I nee’ yo’ so b-bad, Mommy!” She chuckled darkly, letting go of your hair and interlacing a hand with yours. She slowly eased you off of her, and you whined pitifully as a result. She guided you to rest on the floor, her body towering over yours as she sat in front of you.
“That’s it, good girl.” She dragged out the praise. “Now, get to work, we don’t have all night.” She guided your face to her now bare skin and your lips met her clit in an urgent manner, desperate to feel her cum all over you.
You were unable to notice the camera aiming in your direction, or the crowd erupting out of the doors that you were parked in front of. But she did. She noticed everything, but she denied letting you do the same. But that was okay, you’d do anything she wanted. It was only fair for how well she took care of and protected you. After all, she was your Mommy, she’d go to any extent to keep you safe, and you’d go to any extent to make her as happy as you could.

Not Like I'm in Love with You

Warnings: jealously, angst with a happy ending, surgery, medically induced coma, bomb, eco terrorist?, reader is enhanced, mention of drinking and sexual activity, love confession

“My savior,” Natasha groaned as you handed the redhead a coffee and a breakfast sandwich. She moaned, taking a sip of the coffee. “I could marry you right now.” You shook her head at her antics and passed the rest of the goodies to the team. Clint had his feet on the table and head thrown back, and a pair of sunglasses covered his eyes. He grunted out a thanks when he set his order down. The rest of the team was in different states of hungover, barely muttering a greeting. You chuckled.
“Maybe we shouldn’t have gone out on a school night,” you teased, sitting down at your desk so you could eat your own. Clint groaned.
“You aren’t my mom,” You felt like it.
“Where’s the boss?” You questioned.
“Probably untangling herself from the blonde she went home with,” May mumbled, holding a cold towel to her forehead. Why did your stomach drop when she said that? The team had the right to party after a job well done. The case had a breakthrough, and they wanted to go out. Like always, you refused, you weren’t much of a drinker, and you didn’t trust yourself drunk with your abilities. You were an Eco-empathy, allowing you to connect deeply with the environment and sense, understand, and manipulate the natural world. SHIELD nicknamed you Gaia, and your fellow agents called you various Earth-related names. You and Maria were just friends, right? When Fury picked her as Deputy Director, she prompted you alongside her. You were her second in command; while she went out in the field, you stayed behind to run point. It was how you two operated a well-oiled machine. Co-workers. Best friends at most. Like you’ve been, right? Natasha raised an eyebrow at you.
The door opened, and Maria walked in. “Ah, she emerges from her walk of shame,” Natasha teased. Maria flipped her off and thanked you with a smile for her breakfast.
“Ain’t nothing shameful what I did last night,” Natasha cringed. Thankfully, Maria’s back was to you, so she missed the frown on your face. The redhead saw it. “Alright,” she said. “What’s the plan?”
*
“You missed a hell of a party,” Maria said as you handed your mock battle plan for the upcoming mission. It would go through her than Fury before it was green lite; the more eyes, the better when it came to people’s lives.
“All these years you’ve known me, you know clubs aren’t my scene,” you sat on the edge of her desk. There was a picture of you and her during your SHIELD graduation. “Besides, how long were you there until an innocent woman fell under your spell?” You teased, but it didn’t feel enjoyable in your mouth.
“She wasn’t so innocent when I had my way with her,” you faked a gag. It was typical behavior between you two to talk about the woman you brought home; more times than not, Maria had the stories. But why did you feel like you could throw up right now?
“I can tell by that hickey on your neck,” you pushed the bruise, and she squatted your hand away. She was your ride-or-die. So you weren’t jealous.
“What is your schedule like today?” You sighed, looking at your nails on your left hand.
“Leading a training with May, a meeting with Phil, and I think Clint wants to go over some new trick arrows,” you rattled off. It was a typical busy day for you. Maria nodded.
“Do you want to go get lunch? We could go to that Mexican place you like.” That sounded nice, and you liked the burritos and mock tails they had. You sighed.
“How about a ring check? Nat asked if I could get lunch with her today,” Maria liked to joke that you made her soft. She rarely held up the mask to hide her emotions around you. There was no need. Now you saw the mask slowly creep up to hide her true feelings.
“Yeah, of course, she forced a smile. “Now get out of here before I write you up,” she teased. Rolling your eyes, you jumped off her desk.
“See you later, Ria.”
“Stay safe out there, Willow.” You rolled your eyes at the nickname but her office to start your day.
*
“You love her,” Natasha said as you took a bite of your sandwich. You choked on it, and the Black Widow smirked at your misfortune. You rubbed your chest to help the food pass and took a sip of water.
“I have no idea what the hell you are talking about,” she took a fry from your plate and popped it in her mouth.
“Please, Cherry, you’ve been in love with Maria since I’ve known you, and according to Phil, it’s been since the academy,” you gasped.
“Why is this office gossip?” You asked.
“We have to talk about something,” she shrugged. SHIELD agents were moths to a flame when it came to gossip. “Don’t worry, we won’t discuss it with Maria.” That was not reassuring.
“Look, Maria and I are friends. We have been forever; the way I feel is black and white.” You were curious to know if Natasha believed you. Hell, you barely believed yourself. It wasn’t like you stayed up at night overthinking the possibility of you and Maria has a couple. Nah, that would be dumb.
“Are you sure?” Yeah, it was fine. It was cool. It wasn’t like every time she talked about having sex with some random hookup at a bar, it made your stomach burn with jealousy because you wanted her body all to yourself. You wanted her more than anyone else. It’s not like you were in love with her.
“Shit,” you mumbled, slumping back into her hair. Natasha smiled, sipping on her chocolate milkshake.
“Glad you admitted it,” you hadn’t admitted anything. What was she talking about? “So, are you going to tell her?”
“No!” You shrieked, and you drew the attention of the other patrons. You felt your body warm up due to the extra eyes. Natasha chuckled. “God, no. I can’t. It will ruin everything. Besides, I doubt she feels the same.”
“She does.” The Black Widow glanced at the watch on her wrist. “Shit, we have to get back.” It was supposed to be a quick lunch because Fury called for an emergency meeting. You nodded, throwing your half-eaten food in the bag to take with you. “You know,” Natasha held open the door for you as you walked onto the busy DC sidewalks. “You should tell her. You both could be happy.” She said it as if it was easy and not scary. It’s not like you were losing your mind thinking about her in your bed. It started slow, but like dominoes, you started free-falling with no control. You were doing a shit job at hiding it if your friends knew the truth. It’s not like you were in love with her.
*
“I’m going on this mission,” you said, a little surprised.
“Yes,” Fury said, his arms behind his back and one good eye trained on you. “Your skill set is what this mission needs. Is that a problem?”
“No sir,” you said without hesitation. You kept up to date on your physical and firearm certification, and you met with SHIELD’s psychologist. You were always mission-ready when the time called for it, but it never did. You glanced at Maria, who was oddly quiet. Her face was in a permanent frown. But you couldn’t worry about her now; you had a mission to lead.
*
Maria found you in the locker room, tackle suit around your waist, and you were holding your dad’s dog tags in your hand. It was your good luck charm. “Want me to put it on you?” She asked. You nodded, handing her the necklace. Carefully, she placed the chain around your neck and locked it. The cold metal caused goosebumps to cover your shin. “I don’t like you going on this mission without me.” She admitted and sat down next to you on the bench. You chuckled.
“You’ll be watching my back,” you looked over your shoulder. “No, you’ll know how I feel every time you run off into danger.” You tried to make light of the situation, but there was a frown on your face. “Here,” you removed the necklace and placed it around her.
“What are you doing?” She asked. “You never go anywhere without it.”
“I don’t need it,” you said. “I got you watching my back. That’s all the luck I need.” Maria was quiet. It was unsettling for her to be quiet. “Ria, we got this. I get this. I’ve learned from the best, so I’ll be the best.” She laughed, and you were glad you could pull a sound out of her.
“Just-”
“Clover,” May walked in and cut Maria off. “We are all set, just waiting for you.” You told me you’d be there in 5 and turned your attention back to Maria.
“Just stay safe out there, Willow.” You wondered what she was going to say if she wasn’t interrupted.
“I’ll see you later, Ria,” you smiled. “Promise.”
*
You learned to listen to your gut instinct. It was your most valued tool as an agent. Even when you ran point back at headquarters, you listened to it when your stomach tightened with anxiety as you sat in the wooded area that surrounded the factory. This factory was responsible for releasing toxins into the air. Usually, this type of case wouldn’t gather attention from SHIELD, but the damage they were doing to the environment was affecting the locals: memory loss, muscle spasms, and strange hallucinations. The problem was that it was impossible to locate the idiots responsible for the mess. You could feel the environment dying in this area. May place a gentle hand on your shoulder. “Are you okay? She asked. You nodded, unable to open your mouth. You let out a few shaky breaths, trying to loosen the anxiety knot in your stomach, and tapped on the com in your ear.
“How are we looking?” You asked.
“They are about to make the guard change,” hearing Maria’s voice helped calm you down. “Are you doing okay, Willow? Your heart monitor is spiking.” You rolled your eyes and bit back a huff of annoyance. It was Phil’s idea to add pulse and heart detectors into the suit.
“Yeah, they’ve caused a lot of damage to this area. It’s making me all jittery,” you admitted.
“We’ll stop them,” this time it was Natasha’s voice through the coms. The Black Widow was recovering from a shoulder injury that left her benched until it was healed. You lead the team with Clint, May, and a handful of qualified agents.
“Shift change is in 3,” you put on your gas mask. “2 and 1. Stay safe, agents.” That feeling remained in the pit of your stomach. Anxiety, dread. You needed to figure out why. You moved through the building with ease and worked towards the control room. It was your, May’s, and two other agents’ job to turn off the factory while Clint protected the outside in case the alarm was tripped.
“We made it to the control room,” May said.
“Perfect, insert the flash drive. It should take 5 minutes to shut down the factory and copy the information they have on it.” Maria explained. May pushed the rolling chair out of the way.
“Go stand guard,” you ordered the other two agents. They obeyed and went into the hallway. The mission was almost over, so why were you so anxious? When May inserted the flash drive, an alarm went off, and metal walls trapped May and you inside the room.
“Houston,” your friend said. “We have a problem.” The room began to shake as a trap door opened, and a bomb rose from the floor. The red numbers clicked down from 10 minutes.
“Houston,” you repeated, and you took off the gas mask. “We have a bigger problem.”
“Turn on your cameras,” you turned on your body camera and heard the sharp intake of Maria’s breath.
“Guys, we have multiple heat signatures heading towards the factory,” Phil said. You walked over to the bomb, staring at the mysterious liquid.
“Barton, pull back. Gather all agents to the secondary position,” you pulled your hand back, clutching your hand against your chest—a fertilizer bomb.
“Willow, what is it?” Maria asked. You glanced at May; you knew she saw the panic in your eyes.
“It’s a fertilizer bomb,” you admitted. “Big enough to take out the factory and the surrounding bomb.”
“Fucking hell,” you heard Natasha mumble.
“May-”
“Already on it,” she cut off Maria as she rapidly typed at the control panel, trying to disarm the bomb.
“All agents have made it to the secondary location. Just need you two.” Yeah, that was going to be a problem. The sound of your team frantically discussing how to disarm the bomb became white noise. You walked the room length, gliding your hand over the metal wall. To your surprise, you felt pieces of earth within the metal sheets. Of course! All you had to do was focus on the impurities within the metal. You let out a shaky breath and concentrated. The metal moved underneath your palm.
“I have an idea,” you said suddenly.
“Am I going to like this idea?” Maria questioned. Probably not. You took your normal stance, feet shoulder length apart and knees bent slightly. You put your hands together, and then your palms faced the metal walls. Slowly, you began miming as if trying to rip something apart. At first, nothing happened. Beads of sweat trickled down your neck. Finally, the metal started to crumble and pull apart. A small doorway appeared. You fell to one knee, chest heaving. May ran to your side.
“That was wild,” she said. “I don’t know you could do that.” You chuckled as she helped you to your feet.
“Neither did I.”
“Nice work. No, get out of there,” Maria said. You quickly turned off your body camera and your and May’s com.
“You’re staying, aren’t you?” She asked.
“I think I can contain the blast.”
“You think?” It wasn’t an exact science, and you weren’t sure if you were strong enough to contain it.
“Go,” you told her. You had to try. If not, so many people would die, including your team. Your friend hesitated but took off towards the exit. You faced the bomb and turned on your com again. There were four and a half minutes left.
“Why aren’t you leaving with May?” Maria questioned. You took a shaky breath and retook your stance. “Willow, it’s just me and you. What are you doing?”
“I gotta try, Ria,” your voice strained with exhaustion, arms shook at each metal wall you bent around the bomb. “If I don’t, hundreds if not thousands of people are gonna die.” You said. It was your responsibility to get your team home and protect the innocents in the area. Maria whispered your name. It was so rare that someone said your real name it took you by surprise. The bomb was fully wrapped in metal, but you were exhausted already. “You got my lucky charm, right?”
“Yeah,” she whispered. “I got it.”
“Good, good,” you mumbled, digging your feet into the metal floor. “I’ll see you later, Ria. I promised, didn’t I?” There was so much more you wanted to say. A three-word sentence danced on your lips, but you held it back. It wasn’t fair to her to say it now. Each nerve in your body was vibrating. Every breath you took burned. You sent a silent prayer to your father as the explosion rocked your body. You held the metal to contain it. A scream left your lips as it became too much, and your world went black.
*
Maria knew she had this aura that surrounded her. An aura that screamed authority. It told newer agents not to fuck with her. She knew she was good at what she did and wanted everyone to know that. As she walked to the med bay with Natasha close by, she was murderous. Rationally, she knew it was no one’s fault. It was par for the course when it came to this line of work, but she needed someone to blame and push guilt onto someone. May was resting in a chair with an ice pack on her head. She looked up when she heard the approaching footsteps. “She’s still in surgery,” she mumbled, and Natasha sat beside her. “Doctors are worried about the amount of blood she lost and the toxins that entered her lungs.” A heat of anger washed over Maria, but she tried to push it down.
“May, go shower and eat,” Maria ordered. Her voice strained. She saw the protest form in the agent’s eyes. “That’s an order.” You risked your life to save her and the rest of your team. It would do no one good if May stopped taking care of herself. “That’s an order.” May sighed.
“Yes, Hill.” She stood up and left. Maria took a seat in her spot, elbows resting on her knees.
“Do you want to talk about it?” Natasha asked. Maria refused to look away from the wall she was staring at.
“I need her to be okay,” Maria admitted.
“Is this why you wrote her out of every mission?” The Black Widow questioned. Maria slowly leaned back and looked at the redhead. “Come on, Hill, it was obvious. With her on the field, missions would be over in half the time, but you didn’t want to risk her getting hurt.” Maria remained silent. “Now, why would you do that?” Her eyes locked onto Natasha’s green ones; there was no judgment like she had expected to see. “We do crazy things for the people we love.”
“I-” Maria let out a shaky breath. “I don’t know, Nat.” She whispered. “I just need her to be okay.”
“She will be,” the Black Widow smiled. “She’s strong.” Of course, Maria knew you were strong. She’s seen you at your lowest point when your father passed away, but you pulled yourself out of it. Your screams right before you collapsed were repeating inside her head. It was like a bad song stuck in there. The only thing that gave her hope was the steady beat of your heart monitors within your suit. You were alive, barely but alive.
“Deputy Director Hill,” her name said, but the approaching doctor caused her to stand up.
“How she is?” She asked.
“Stable,” the doctor said. “The next 24 hours are critical. I must admit she has a few guardian angels looking out for her. There was a major piece of metal in her stomach and left thigh. She also had small pieces in her arm. We think she hit her head due to a cut on the back of her head.”
“May said you were worried about her lungs,” Natasha said. The doctor nodded.
“She inhaled a great deal of the fertilizer before she was found, so we are worried about the lasting effects.” She explained.
“Can-can I see her?” Maria asked.
“Of course, we’ve placed her in a medically induced coma to allow her body to heal.” She faintly heard Natasha say she would inform Clint and the others of your condition. Maria wasn’t sure if the doctor was talking about your prognosis, but soon she was alone.
The only noise in the room was the steady sound of the machines connected to you. It seemed unreal that you were hurt. For the longest time, you seemed untouchable. Now, you were bedridden and too pale for Maria’s liking. She took your father’s dog tags off her neck and opened your hand to put the chain in it. “Lucky charm is back where it belongs.” She formed your hands into a tight fist and placed it on your heart. “Come back to me,” she whispered, kissing your forehead. “Please.”
*
There was a heaviness that surrounded you. It started at your chest and then moved to your limbs. The pressure was suffocating. Catastrophic. Slowly, you opened your eyes to the bright light of med bay. You felt metal in your hand and opened your palm to see the dog tags you gave Maria. “You’re awake,” you turned to see Natasha. A deck of cards in your hands and glanced down at your chest. You interrupted a game of war.
“Why are you using me as a table?” You deadpanned. Natasha shrugged.
“Had to kill time as we waited for your dumbass to wake up,” you rolled your eyes. “How do you feel?”
“Like I got hit by a semi-truck,” you groaned and sat up slowly. The door opened to the bathroom, and Clint walked out.
“Shit,” you said. “You’re alive.” You scuffed, rubbing the bandages on your chest.
“I’m glad you had so much confidence in me, bird man,” Clint took a seat across from Natasha. “The team is okay, right? They all made it out.”
“Yeah, you saved their lives,” Natasha said. “Maria is pissed at you.” You groaned, pinching the bridge of your nose.
“I’ll deal with her later.” You closed your eyes. Now that you were a little more awake, you could take a better inventory of your body. Every small breath you took caused your chest to burn; it felt like a fire was starting. You sighed, wincing slightly, and turned to look at Natasha. “How bad?” The Black Widow sighed.
“There is potential damage to your lungs due to the fertilizer, and you had a metal that they had to remove from your stomach and thigh.” Cool, you thought, real cool.
“Just think,” Clint started. “At least you are off breakfast duty for a while.” You laughed at his poor attempt to lighten the mood but hissed. “Shit, sorry. No laughing. Got it.” You waved him off that you were okay.
“I’ll go get the doctor. Don’t move.” Natasha said, standing up. You scuffed. Yeah, you would make a grand escape with a hole in your stomach.
“You had everyone worried,” Clint said once Natasha was gone. You remained quiet, lost in your thoughts. It wasn’t your intention to scare everyone. It was your job to protect your team and bring them home. So, you completed that part of the mission. It so happened you were hurt in the process.
It was night when you woke up again, and Maria was in Natasha’s seat. Her eyes were closed, but you knew she wasn’t asleep. Even in the dim light of the room, she looked exhausted. Bags were under her eyes, and her face looked pale. Natasha told you that you were in a medically induced coma for five days. Maria barely slept, had to be forced to eat, and left her office. “I know you aren’t asleep, Ria,” you whispered. Her eyes shot open. “You look like shit.”
“Says the girl with the hole in her stomach.” You smiled.
“They stitched it up all good. Besides, I had my lucky charm,” you picked up the dog tag around your neck. To your surprise, Maria took your hand in hers. Your body felt warm at the simple act. It wasn’t like you hadn’t held her hand before this moment felt more intimate. “Ria,” you whispered. “Are you okay?”
“I thought I lost you,” she admitted. “God, Willow, you scared the shit out of me.”
“Didn’t mean to,” you said. “I needed to save the team.” She shook her head.
“It was the right call to make, but,” Maria sighed, and you felt her take her hand away, but you held her tight, not wanting to let her go. “Just don’t do it again.”
“Aye, aye, captain,” you promised.
With the surgery and injuries, your movement was limited. The most straightforward actions were impossible for you to do without pain shooting through your chest. It was deemed you would move in with someone until you fully recovered. Natasha was the first to offer but was quickly overruled by Maria. So you moved in with the Deputy Director, and it was strange. You needed help washing your hair, changing, and undressing yourself. You couldn’t understand the look in Maria’s eyes for every action you required assistance with. It wasn’t the first time you shared a living space with Maria, but now you walked on eggshells around each other. A part of you wanted to go back before the mission before everything felt complicated between you and your best friend.
The physical limitations weren’t the worst part of your recovery. It was the mental scars. Nightmares plagued your mind almost every night of that mission. It would change constantly. Sometimes, your team would die, or you would fail to save Maria. It was exhausting, waking up in a pool of sweat, your heart racing, and your lungs unable to get air into them. You wanted all to stop.
*
Maria was sitting at her dining room table, a bottle of whiskey opened, and she needed to work on a few case files. Her mind was a million miles away and not on her duties as Deputy Director. It wasn’t entirely her fault; a lot had happened over the past two weeks. Her best friend was almost killed; Natasha forced her to admit she was in love with said best friend, and she had to watch you piece yourself back together. It was exhausting, but she knew you would do it for her. This was how it had always been. You and Maria. Agent Hill and Gaia. A package duo that never crossed the line as friends. So Maria filled the void that was missing with one-night stands and drunken sex that meant nothing to her. All she wanted, needed, and craved was you. She could not risk the friendship; it was the most important thing in her life.
Small whimpers from your room pulled her out of her thoughts. Standing quickly, she made her way to the guest room. She carefully opened the door. You lay on the bed, mumbling something Maria couldn’t quite understand. On socked feet, she walked over to the bed and sat at the foot. “No,” you mumbled. “Take me. Not her. Please.” Maria’s heart broke.
“Sweetheart,” Maria whispered. “Wake up. Come on.”
“Maria,” you mumbled, thrashing slightly. “Maria, please, I’m sorry.”
“It’s just a nightmare. Wake up. Wake up.” You woke with a start, chest heaving and eyes frantically looking around.
“Ria,” you forced out. There was a thin layer of sweat on your body.
“It’s okay—you’re safe. I’m safe. Breath,” she gently touched the back of your neck and brought your forehead against hers. Your eyes closed as you took a few deep breaths in and out. Finally, you pulled away, and Maria hated to admit she missed you being close. You slumped back on the bed, arm across your face.
“Thanks,” you whispered.
“Do you want to talk about it?” She asked. She was curious to know if you heard her. With your other hand, you grabbed her hand and squeezed it.
“I’m scared,” you said. Your voice shook at every spoken word. “I feel broken and weak and-” You aggressively rubbed your eyes as tears filled them.
“You are not broken,” Maria said. “You are healing. In time, you will return to your old self that I-” Maria cut herself off. You removed your hand from your face and slowly sat up.
“You what?” You asked, crossed your legs, and tried to cover the grimace of pain that crossed your face, but you moved closer to her. “Come on, Ria, tell me,” she was looking at every decoration in the room so she wouldn’t have to look at you. Finally, you used your index finger to tilt her chin to look back at you. “Finish your sentence,” you wore a smile on your face. It was a smile that Maria learned to look for in a crowd, in a meeting, or on a video call while on a mission. Your smile filled her with a sense of peace. It warmed her body and made her feel at home.
“That I fell in love with,” Maria softly spoke as she finished her sentence. You made a surprise sound that originated in the back of your throat, but you recovered quickly.
“You love me, Maria Hill?” the agent huffed a laugh, shaking her head.
“Shut up,” she mumbled. “If you are going to make fun of me, get it over with.”
“I’d never make fun of you, not about this, at least.” You added with a smirk because you have made fun of her about other things. “Can I kiss you?” You asked, inching closer until Maria felt your breath mingling with hers.
“Please,” you connected your lips with hers. Maria hated how often she thought about this moment. She would go to her grave before admitting out loud how many times she had to bite her lip during sex to stop herself from moaning your name. Fair too soon for her liking, you pulled away and rested your head on her shoulder.
“Why have we waited so long to do that?” Maria chuckled. “Will you stay?”
“Always,” the open bottle of whiskey and mission reports could wait another day.
*
When you woke up the following day, you are disappointed to find an empty bed. Maria’s side was cold, but you heard a commotion in the kitchen. Carefully, you stood up. The mornings were always rough due to being in the same position for so long. You slowly made your way out of the room and into the kitchen. Maria was at the stove, her back to you, and you walked over to her. Your arms wrapped around her waist, and you buried her head in her shoulder. Her body tensed up but soon relaxed in your arms. “Morning,” you mumbled.
“Morning. Breakfast is almost done. Why don’t you go sit down?” You shook your head.
“Your arm,” you said, kissing the skin you could reach. You were happy with the goosebumps that formed on her skin. Her body shook with laughter.
“Go sit. I’ll get your medicine, too.” You pouted, walked over to the couch, and pulled a blanket over your lap. It wasn’t long before Maria joined on the sofa with two plates of food.
“I can help you know,” she said with a smile. She brought back two mugs of coffee and water with your medication. You kissed her cheek as your thanks and took the three white pills with water.
“I should probably say this,” you bite into the eggs. “I love you too,” she smirked.
“I would hope so, or this entire thing would be incredibly awkward,” she teased. You rolled your eyes and pumped your shoulder against hers.
“You are a dork,” you smiled.
“I’m your dork,” that was also true. Oh, how you liked that sound.
“Mine,” you mumbled, kissing her. “And I’m yours.”

Your fault pt. 2
Tumblr media
Maria hill x reader, Natasha Romanoff x reader (past)
*knock knock knock* Maria groaned as she opened the door of her quarters, she had just come back from a very exhausting mission and was ready to go to bed. But the constant knocking was too annoying to be ignored forever.
“Y/n? What are you doing here?” She asked as soon as she saw you.
“I have to talk to you. You know how after the whole thing with Nat fury didnt let me back in until I went to therapy? So I went a couple of times while you were on the mission and then this woman has the audacity to tell me that I am suicidal and careless, that I wanted to end up dead on my last mission and that the person who made me feel like that was Nat” you hurried, making it hard for the brunette to understand anything.
“Wait- what did she say about you?” She asked, very unsure if she heard you right.
“Maria! That’s not important right now” you scolded her before continuing “she made me realize that Natasha is pure toxin for me. She also made me realize that I love you. It all made sense when she hinted at the fact that you’re the place I look for comfort. Because I do, you’re the first person I wanna see and the only person I always wanna talk to. I’m in love with you Maria” you told her, a smile on your face. The first real smile she had seen in months.
“I- why don’t you come in? I don’t think I can follow you right now” the door opened further for you to come in. You hurriedly followed her to the kitchen where she poured you a glass of water while you admired her.
“So what was that about you being suicidal?” She asked again as she pushed the glass towards you. Her eyes focusing on you.
“This is what you took in? Maria, I said I am in love with you and I mean it. I’ve been to 12 therapy sessions in the last 6 weeks and in every session all I wanted to talk about was you, how you saved me, how save I felt with you and then I realized it. I let Natasha treat me like shit for so long that I didn’t feel like you’d want me as soon as I realized that I do want you.”
“Y/n, are you sure about this? I don’t want to be a rebound and I don’t want to ruin our friendship” she said, her hand lightly grazing over yours that was placed on the counter. Her smile was a mixture of happiness sadness and uncertainty.
“Maria, I’ve never been surer about anything. You are the most amazing and beautiful person I have met and I wish I would have realized sooner. If you don’t feel the same, just say so and I’ll disappear and leave you alone with this topic. Our friendship can stay the same, I promise” everybody could have heard the sadness in your voice.
“I’ve been in love with you since our first mission but two weeks later you came in with Natasha holding hands. I didn’t wanna do anything if you were happy so I shut up. But now I’m so happy that I at least stayed close” she told you, leaning in carefully. Her eyes started to close as she noticed that you were also coming closer.
You were. At least until your hand suddenly stopped her, pushing her back lightly. “I - I thought” she immediately stumbled out making you smile lightly.
“You thought right but there’s something that I haven’t told you. I haven’t broken up with Natasha yet, I know what that sounds like but I was kinda scared, you know how toxic she can be”
“What?”
“I was scared and you weren’t here so I wouldn’t have had anywhere to go. Not anywhere I felt safe at least. And I don’t want to kiss you before I’m free” your hand carefully caressed her cheek as you explained, your heart feeling lighter as soon as she leaned into your touch.
“It’s okay. I’ll be there for you every second okay?” You nodded and fell into her embrace.
That night you decided to call it quits with the redhead, now that Maria was by your side.
“Natasha, we have to talk” you said as you walked into the kitchen, placing yourself on the other side of the table while Maria waited a couple of seconds before waking to the fridge.
“What about?” She was clearly uninterested in whatever you had to say and you had to hold back an eye roll.
“I think we should break up. No wait, I am breaking up with you. We just don’t fit together anymore and I don’t want to be treated like this anymore” you told her, your voice confident as you felt safe with the shield agent behind you.
“Yeah whatever” she said and walked out of the kitchen leaving you stunned.
“It’s over” you whispered to the woman as you sat on the counter next to where she was cutting some food.
“Finally. Now i can do this” she smiled as she pressed a light kiss to your lips. “And tomorrow I wanna take you out on a real date” she whispered against them before pulling away to plop some fruit into her mouth.
That night you fell asleep in one of Maria’s shield hoodies back in your own room after years and you haven’t felt as free as you did in forever.
Three weeks later
Natasha stood alone at Tony’s party watching Maria push you against a wall to make out with you. Her heart broke as she saw you smile against the brunettes lips. She’d never forgive herself for loosing you but it was too late now.

Happy October 20th!!! On the docket for the day is a Uniform Kink. This time with another Marvel character and SHIELD agent, Maria Hill. Hope you Enjoy!! 🖤🎃
Previous Day <—found here!
Kinktober 2023 <—Here!!
Tumblr media
Mommy… Master List
Requests & Prompt-List
Warnings: NSFW, implied smut, uniform kink, teasing, flustering, alcohol consumption, kissing, implied strip teasing, implied future smut, etc.
Enjoy (;
“Wear your uniform, today…?” your girlfriend curiously asked through the phone.
You chuckled and processed her request in light shock.
“I… Ok…!” You laughed, “But only if you wear yours too…”
Maria laughed over the phone in response.
“Deal.” She declared, “See you at home.”
“Bye, See you!” You hummed, before the call ended.
You put your phone away and continued filling out your paperwork for the arrest you had made this morning. You were a cop at the MPDC, the DC police department, and your girlfriend worked for the intelligence agency, SHIELD.
The brunette had called you with a new idea for the bedroom that you had to admit, you found quite intriguing… Maria had suggested you wear your uniform.
After that call, you couldn’t wait to get home. As soon as the clock struck 5pm, you were out the door. You drove home in eager anticipation. You unlocked your door and dropped your keys at the side table on your way in.
You had beaten Maria home, so you put your things away, waiting in the kitchen for the brunette. You made sure to keep your entire uniform on, and you grabbed a bottle of red wine, pouring yourself a glass as you waited.
About thirty minutes later, the lock of the door finally jingled. You then heard the door open and shut, followed by your girlfriend walking into the kitchen. She dropped her things on the counter, and then shifted her gaze to you.
“Damn.” Maria sighed, not holding her gaze back from racking up and down your frame.
You chuckled lightly, grabbing and offering her a glass of the wine. The brunette thanked you with a kiss and accepted it whole heartedly. You both then migrated to the living room, sitting and lounging with your glasses of alcohol. Maria crossed her leg over the other, eyeing you in your uniform once more.
“You really are hot, you know that?” The woman husked, before taking a sip of her wine.
“Me or the uniform…?” You teased the brunette.
“Oi!” Maria scolded playfully,
“Both…” she suggestively cooed, wiggling her eyebrows.
“Fair.” You gave her a nod and chuckled, taking a sip of your own wine.
“You don’t look too bad yourself either, Baby…” you hummed, finishing the sip of your wine and taking the moment to admire Maria in her uniform.
It was all black and it hugged her perfectly. There was a zipper in the front center which if you pulled down just a bit, you would get the perfect vantage of her tits, you thought to yourself.
Like the woman could read your mind, her hand went for the zipper, pulling it down a teasing amount, where you could clearly see her tits. She raised her brow at you in anticipation of your reaction. You widened your eyes slightly and blushed lightly in response, hiding your stare behind another sip from your glass.
Maria laughed at the reaction that she had pulled from you.
“Don’t be a tease…” you grumbled, taking another sip of your alcohol.
“You first” the woman chuckled in amusement.
“What…?! I am not teasing.” You exclaimed in a huff defensively.
“Yea well your body says otherwise…” Maria teasingly cooed, shrugging and taking a sip of her wine.
“Well why don’t you do something about it…?” You challenged the woman.
She paused from sipping from her glass and set it down, to look at you. Maria then got up and sauntered over to you. She stood in front of you, placing her arms on either side of the couch, so that she effectively trapped you there between the couch and her own body.
“You are so sexy in that uniform” Maria breathed out, beginning with a sigh.
You set your wine aside and gulped. Her words made you go a shade darker in the face. The brunette obviously liked the reactions she was drawing from you.
“I want to sit back and watch you strip tease for me in that…” the woman huskily told you in a hushed tone, while meeting your gaze the entire time.
Your breath hitched and another rush of heat went to your face. You nodded slowly.
“Or… I want you to pretend like I’m in trouble with you in that uniform…” Maria continued huskily, “Or maybe I’ll punish you while in uniform…”
Your eyes widened and your face was now tomato red.
“I—Yes.” You choked out, “Yes to all of it”
Maria smiled and stood up, releasing you from her entrapment. She gave you hand to stand up.
“Good. Then you and me have a long night…” she hummed in delight.

Hey so could you do some domestic headcanons with Maria (like what she does in her free time, if she likes to get up early, etc.)
Domesticity With Maria Hill
Tumblr media
Being the Deputy Director of SHIELD, Maria is guaranteed to have a crazy schedule. She works long hours and oftentimes, when she gets home, you’re already asleep. You insist on trying to wait up for her, but 9/10 times, that doesn’t end up happening.
Maria usually comes home to find you on the couch, the TV flashing, remote in your limp hand. Her heart aches at the site. You’re adorable, but she wishes you would just go to bed.
Maria has a routine. First, she slips the remote out of your hand and turns off the TV. Next the tidies up a bit if things are messy. Then, she’ll fold the blanket you have wrapped around you. Lastly, she’ll carry you to bed. Sometimes you stir and curl into her, other times you’re completely out.
Also, side note: you love Maria’s arms. She definitely has muscles and they’re very hot.
“You could crush me with your arms and I’d thank you”
On the rare occasion that she is home by a reasonable hour, you’re very giddy and that always puts a smile on Maria’s face. She loves seeing you happy.
On the weekends, the two of you usually have a lazy Saturday morning. It’s very hard to get either of you out of bed. You’ll be curled up with one another (Maria as the big spoon). She’ll run her hand through your hair.
If it’s raining…..you’re not going anywhere on Saturday. Saturday is a cozy, indoors day.
I feel like you and Maria would have a dog. Maria usually takes the dog out on walks in the early mornings and the two of you will walk the dog together after dinner.
Walks around the neighborhood with Maria are the best :)
Also, even if not everyone at SHIELD has met you, they all adore you. Maria talks about you a lot. They especially love when you bake homemade cookies or brownies and Maria brings them in (you give extra sweets to Natasha, of course).
You and Maria will also go to the gym together. She’s always spotting you, making sure you don’t get hurt. She’s very protective.
You love practicing different hair styles on Maria and she’ll indulge you. Oftentimes she’s sitting at the kitchen table doing paperwork and you’re sitting behind her on a counter, braiding her hair.
Also, you always insist on decorating for the holidays. Every single one. Your house is decked out. You can usually convince Maria to put up the decorations with you.
SHE IS SO ROMANTIC ON VALENTINE’S DAY. I’M TALKING ROSE PETALS EVERYWHERE AND CANDLE LIGHT DINNERS AND CHOCOLATES.
She is so charming and good at sweet talk and flustering you.
Maria is also usually waking up earlier than you in the morning. Before she heads off to work, she gives you a kiss on the cheek and you grunt sleepily in return.
If you’re being too stubborn about getting up, Maria will get the dog to jump on you and lick you all over your face.
Whenever Maria gets vacation time, you’re dragging her to the prettiest places. You’d be the planner among the two of you.
And whenever Maria’s away on missions, she always gets you a souvenir from wherever she is.
You guys tried to keep a plant once — didn’t go so well. You also got emotionally attached to the plant, which Maria didn’t really get.
The two of you have a lot of scrapbooks which you guys love reminiscing over glasses of wine.
I fully believe your house is so cozy all the damn time. Tons of sweaters and blankets. Lights are usually dimmed. It’s so nice.

— I'm Yours
Tumblr media
MariaHill X FReader
Summary: When you return from a mission with some injuries your girlfriend will see you, and what was supposed to be a conversation, some lectures and hugs ends up becoming something more.
Warnings: age gap (legal), oral sex (r receives), fluff, romantic.
Author's note: English is not my first language, so I'm sorry if there are any mistakes.
Tumblr media
You came back from a mission with a big wound, bruises and a split lip. Sitting on a bed in the medical, her attention was drawn to the beautiful woman who entered.
— I heard you got hurt.
gave an awkward smile, — Yes, it's a gunshot wound. At first I didn't even realize it, the pain only really came after the adrenaline wore off.
Maria sighs and sits down on a chair next to the bed — You need to be more careful. — Maria says, she seems upset, she always gets like that when you get hurt. It's her job to protect and love you, and when you get hurt she feels like she failed. You've already lost count of how many times she tried to make you give up going on missions and convince you to work inside the base, alongside her.
— I know... — you say and look at her with a small smile, she nods and smiles at you and then remains silent for a few seconds, looking at the report that was on the table next to her bed, already tired you decide to break the silence — At least the mission was successful, we got the data we needed.
She smiles again and nods, looking a little more relaxed when she sees how well you look, — You did good... and I'm proud of you.
She gets out of the chair and comes to you, — let me see... — She examines you carefully, she looks into your eyes and then to her mouth — more specifically to her bruised lip — she runs her hands over your arms where there is a large bruise and you know what she's thinking.
— It was nothing, don't worry.
— I hate that. — she murmurs and becomes quiet again and then she just pulls you close, giving her a small hug and kissing your forehead — My beautiful little girl, you are too good...
You smile, but then your expression changes, — Not a little girl, I'm nineteen… I'm already a woman. — She looks at you and smiles, giving you another kiss, this time on the cheek and sarcastically murmuring "of course."
You enjoy the feeling of your girlfriend's affection and wrap your arms around her neck — I love you, old lady.
She laughs — I'm thirty-three... I'm not old, I'm just experienced. — You laugh at her and she looks at you seriously, but she also pulls you closer and gives you another kiss, but this time on her lips. It's passionate and she doesn't release it this time, she just stays like that for a few seconds.
You return the kiss with the same passion, her hand goes down from your cheek to your neck, Maria looks at you and smiles, she climbs on top of you and starts kissing you intensely and you can feel your pulse increase. You close your eyes and enjoy her kisses and the feeling of her warm breath on your mouth, she stays in that position, kissing you passionately. Slowly she lowers her lips to her neck, you feel her tongue touching your skin as she kisses and nibbles gently. You let out a light moan as her tongue caresses your neck, briefly separating from you, she carefully takes off your shirt, leaving your sports bra visible. Carefully she lies completely on top of you, the feeling of her chest — still covered — touching you is electrifying.
You briefly remember where you are, and how embarrassing it would be if someone walked in and saw the erotic scene that was unfolding — Isn't it dangerous to do that in the infirmary? — you asked, your voice came out trembling and accompanied by a groan.
— Probably... But who cares? — Maria looks at you with a raised eyebrow, she clearly doesn't care. And she soon goes back to kissing your neck, leaving some marks as she caresses your boobs over her bra. She stays like that for a few seconds until she separates from you and with your help frees your beautiful boobs from the damn bra.
Without wasting time, Maria wraps her mouth around her right boob while massaging the other. You just enjoy the feeling while letting out moans. Maria leaves her right breast and then goes to the left. — Maria loved yours boobs, she loved to delight in them. She also liked her moans, they were like music to her, music that made her very excited.
you start breathing faster and faster, finishing with your boobs, Maria removes her shirt and all you do is admire her. Maria leaves a trail of kisses and hickeys across your belly, making you increasingly hot and wet. She then moves away from you a little and looks into your eyes, she smiles — Do you want me to stay down here? I bet you're all wet. — she says while playing with the hem of your pants. You try to speak but the words won't come out, so you just nod, your heart is beating fast and you feel your cheeks burning.
— Use words, Princess. — Maria looks at you and waits for your answer, she waits for words, not just a simple nod, but a real answer.
— Y-yes… — Maria smiles again. Now that she has permission, she undoes the buttons on your pants and takes them off your body, revealing your black panties with a damp stain on them. Maria doesn't hide her smile, she starts kissing and slowly nibbling the inside of your thighs, you place your hands on her head, your fingers caressing the back of her neck as you try to guide her to the right place.
— Such a needy little girl… — she murmurs while playing with the hem of your panties.
— Maria, p-please.. — you couldn't take it anymore, you were thirsty for your girlfriend's touch.
Being as thirsty as you are, Maria takes off your panties and fitting between your legs, she stares at your wet pussy. You moan when you feel the touch of her tongue on your pussy, she looks up, trying to meet her eyes and then smiles. — You like that, don't you? — she says and goes back to sucking you. She moans with pleasure at the of you taste.
You can't help yourself, your moans getting louder and louder, you start to breathe harder and close your eyes enjoying the feeling of her mouth on your clit, you can feel it, it's great, you just want her to keep doing it forever. Maria sucks your clit hard, and you feel your pussy tighten, you need more, much more.
— Maria… I-I need you.
Maria licks your pussy one last time before pulling away, and, looking into your eyes, she brings her face closer to yours and brings your lips together in a quick kiss. — My girl needs me, hm? Do you want my fingers stretching your pussy? Is this what my girl wants? — she says as she teases you, running her fingers lightly over your folds.
— Yes, lov- — your sentence was interrupted by a moan, you were taken by surprise by Maria who, without even a warning, put two fingers inside you. You were tight, but very wet, which made Maria's job easier, your pussy swallowed her fingers perfectly. Her moans became louder as Maria moved in and out of you, she brought yours lips together, muffling your sounds. Maria alternated speed, driving you crazy.
Maria moved her lips away and placed her forehead against yours trying to catch her breath, both with your eyes closed and again without warning, Maria added a third finger. You felt your walls tightening and you hugged Maria, in the process you left some marks, but she didn't care. Increasing the speed, she felt you were almost there, and skillfully she used her thumb to rub your clit. With that it didn't take long for you to reach the peak, your breathing quickening along with your heartbeat. A heat and a tremor rose through your body, the feeling of pleasure took over you as your fluid, whitish and thick liquid took over Maria's fingers.
After a few seconds, Maria removes her fingers from you and takes them to her mouth, sucking your sweet cum, she moans at your taste and then kisses you, making you taste yourself. Panting, you smile, after the difficult mission it that was all you needed. Not only you, but Maria too, she was addicted to you and loved taking you to the extreme. She felt more pleasure giving pleasure than receiving it.
Maria walks away and collects your clothes that were scattered around and hands them to you. — What do you think about a second round?... In a more suitable location.. — Maria makes the proposal with a mischievous smile and you smile back. this definitely wasn't going to end anytime soon.

Bring You're Kid To Work Day Maria Hill Edition
Maria Hill x (15 year old) daughter!reader
Request:
Warnings-NOne, fluff, a sugar rush, giggles, protests, whining.
Extra Pairings:
Avengers x Hill!reader
Tumblr media
Not my Gif*
Steve walked in with a plate of cookies. COOKIES! Maria swiped them from Steve, hoping to hid them from-
"COOKIES" Y/n, Maria's 15 year old daughter shouted from her spot on the ground.
"Oh god." Maria picked her head up, smiling at her little girl. "Yes, my friend Steve brought them for-" She looked at Steve.
"B-both of you guys." He smiled at Y/n.
"Oh my gosh, I have wanted cookies since last week." Y/n shot her mom a quick glance.
"I told you I looked down that aisle four times. How am I suppose to know they are behind a big box of healthy snacks."
"It's their tactic to keep us on a diet. But I've told you about this before."
"Okay, well I can't remember everything. You know that." Taking a cookie and going back to her seat, Y/n says,
"Well you should." And to make sure her mother doesn't hear she adds a quick, "Thanks Steve."
"You're welcome." Steve gives Maria a nod before ducking out and almost instantly someone else walks right back in.
"There she is! The infamous Y/n Hill. If only Maria told us she had a kid. Maybe you'd be an Avenger by now."
"Really?"
"No." Maria butts in, giving Tony Stark a look. "I think Fury needs you, he is on the other end of the hall." She points down the way. Tony hands Y/n a crusty popsicle that he probably found on the ground and leaves the room. Maria walks over and hands her daughter a cookie in exchange for the lolly. She throws it away, despite Y/n's protests. "No, you're not eating that thing. It's not even food."
"Mooooooom!" Y/n huffs.
"Hey, no whining, come on, we're in public. And you're a big girl." Y/n pouts at Maria. "My big girl." She ruffles your hair. Y/n takes another cookie and walked out the door and down the hall. Maria listens from her desk. She hears people greet her and her daughter's laughter as she traveled down the hallway. Hearing Tony again, and Monica, Carol, Wanda, even Vision's, offering her a brownie. And Maria knew bringing her kid to work was gonna be more mothering than work as Y/n walked in with a plate of cookies, a smile and Vision with Wanda on his heels. Come to say hi.
"Hi!" Wanda cheers!
"Mom look what I found!" She showed her mom the plate, offering her one. Which she declines, seeing the chocolate smeared on Y/n's face. She goes to wipe it off, which Y/n avoids, scrunching her face.
"Okay, I have to be at training, 3 minutes ago. She kisses Vision on the cheek and gives Maria and her daughter a smile as she exits.
"I shall be on my way too. Good to see you, Miss Hill." Vision waves good bye to you and your mom.
Over the next few hours it seems you just started to bounce off the walls after finishing BOTH the brownies and cookie plates. With Maria's help, but mostly your own.
"Mommomomomomomomomom-"
"Babe." She held one hand out to you, the other trying to hold herself together. "Please. If you don't specifically need me, don't call my name."
"Mom?" Maria took a breath.
"Yes?"
"I don't know I just wanted to say your name"
"That's-" You were now running down the hall saying, as it echoed across the walls,
"Look mom nooo haaaaands!" Running with your arms flailing about behind you. Giggling you ran back into her office running around to jump into her chair, trying to, but fitting awkwardly in her lap. Maria just let you go, knowing you would crash soon enough. And 30 minutes later you were asleep on the ground. Thor had come in to gift you surprise birthday cake flavored pop tarts but you asleep. So he left. Maria wasn't even able to greet him before he was marching back down the hall. He came back in, gently putting a small blanket on your back. Maria smiled. She finally felt how the rest of her colleagues did. She realized that they were all just big family. And they all love Y/n just like she does.
After Thor left again, Maria took a photo of her sleeping baby. She smiled and watched her sleep peacefully. Turning out the lights she left to go talk with her family right down the way.

You sit at the bar, impatiently waiting for your girlfriend to show up at Starks party. You were dressed in a tight, maroon shoulder-cut dress. Contemplating whether or not you should get up and talk to the woman next to you.
You sigh, setting your shot glass down. “Hey, you uh.. offered me a drink earlier, is.. the offer still up?” the woman eyes you up and down, “It sure is beautiful.” your lips curl up to a tight, forced smile. “Great.”
You sigh, sipping on the drink the woman bought for you. “Thanks. For the drink, that is.” she nods, placing her hand on your shoulder. “You can thank me in another way.. if you know what I mean.” your breath hitches, “I– I'm..”
“Taken.” the brunette says, coming up behind you. She brings a hand to the side of your face, stroking your cheek gently. “Isn't that right baby?” you slowly nod, the woman gets the hint and leaves giving an apology.
“Oh sweetheart.. what the fuck are you doing, slutting out yourself for pathetic nobodies.” you swallow dryly, looking up at the agent. “Maria please not here.” she chuckles lightly, “You've been such a brat lately.” she traces her thumb across your bottom lip, a mischievous glint in her eyes when she hears your soft gasp.
“God.. what am I gonna do with you?” you look down, avoiding her gaze. She grips onto your jaw, forcing you to look at her. “I said, what am I gonna do with you?” you shake your head, hoping she would have mercy on you. “Ria– please we're in public.”
She grips the sides of your face tighter, “Begging isn't gonna work on me right now, get up.” you comply, getting up from your seat. She pulls you into the elevator, bringing you into a rough, messy kiss. “Mmh..” she breaks away when the doors open, leading you to her room.
As soon as you get into her room, she pins you against her closed door, slamming her lips against yours. She practically growls under her breath, clawing at your clothed body. “Take it off for me Ria..” you whine, desperate for her touch. She tears your dress off, leaving you in nothing but your black, lacey bra.
“No panties?” she scoffs, hoisting you up by your thighs. “You really are a whore.” she pushes you onto the bed, you give her a pleading look. “That look isn't helping you baby.” you whimper, feeling her finger drag through your glistening folds.
You stifle a moan, bucking your hips up to ground yourself on her finger. She lightly pinches on your clit, “Stay still.” you huff impatiently, craving her touch. “Touch me Ria..” she rubs on your clit with two fingers, “I am touching you Y/N.” you roll your eyes at her words.
“Touch me properly!” she pulls her hand away, “Getting too confident are we?” you look up at her, “..Daddy please.” she smirks, getting up. “Say that again sweetheart.” you watch her open the drawers, getting something out. “D-daddy please..” she makes her way back to you.
“You want daddy to fuck you?” you meekly nod, “Get on your knees whore.” you get off of the bed, dropping down to your knees. You desperately part your lips, putting in the faux cock inside your mouth. Swirling your tounge around the tip of the dick, sinking it into your mouth.
She buries her hand into your hair, guding you to take more of her length down your throat. You let out muffled moans, sucking her cock slowly. She gasps softly, looking down at you. “Fuck.. can't take it all in hm?”
She pushes your head down, gagging you with her dick. “Mmph—” your head bobs up and down as you struggle to take her full size in, drool dripping out from the corners of your mouth and down to your chest.
“Pathetic. Just a slut for daddy to use whenever she feels like it, aren't you?” she forces you onto her length, causing tears to stream down your face. You start choking on the cock till she pulls out, a string of saliva follows your lips. “On the bed whore.”
You get up on shaky legs, and go lie on the bed. She takes her hand and puts it in between your thighs to feel the mess you made, “You got off on daddy using you hm?” you whimper, nodding vigorously. She takes her hand away, to tug on your bra. “Take it off.” you hurriedly go to unclasp your bra and let it fall off your shoulders and chest.
She runs her thumb across your hardened nipple, fondling your other breast with her free hand. You gasp softly, shivering at her touch. “Ria please. Please I need you so bad daddy..” she kisses your bare collarbone, “How bad baby?” you whine, “So bad.. ruin me! Use me– fuck me daddy.” you should've thought that out before saying it out loud.
“Yeah?” she says, groping your thighs to spread them apart. Your breath hitches as she lifts your hips up, “Yeah..” she lines the strap-ons tip with your entrance. “Mari—” you let out an embarrassingly loud moan as she thrusts into your aching cunt.
Her slow thrusts gradually get faster, and harder. You grip onto her shoulders, echoey moans bouncing off the walls. “Considering how wet you are, you're so tight baby.” you hum out a response, closing your eyes shut as you feel your orgasm approaching.
Your breaths slow down, as you grind against her cock. “Daddy I'm gonna—” she pulls you in for a slow, deep kiss, “Let go, cum for me sweetheart.” you blink rapidly, your legs shake as you came onto her dick. You pant, softly smiling up at her.
She smiles back, continuing her thrusts. “Maria what are you doing? I thought we were fini–” she brings a harsh smack to your ass, you wince at the sudden sharp pain. That's gonna be red for a while.
She quickens her pace, pounding away at you. “Well, you told me to ruin you so..” you can practically hear the smirk on her face, but your body betraying you, you let out a whimper. “Ria 'm too sensitive right now..” slurred words are all you can say, not being able to process full sentences due to the overstimulation.
She slams into your throbbing pussy, making you arch your back on impact. “I know you can do it. Give daddy one more baby.” she whispers into your ear. Your moans get louder with each thrust, your breath slowing down as another orgasm approaches.
“Are you close?” you nod, she smirks as she thrusts deeper into you. You let out a throaty moan, your walls clench around her faux cock. She places a gentle kiss to your neck, “Come on, cum all over daddy's cock like the whore you are.” you feel a wave of pleasurement crash over you, your mind goes blank.
You scream as you came all over her, tears pricking your glossed eyes. “Good girl..” she says, pulling you in for a soft, passionate kiss. “You weren't actually going to go home with that woman were you?” she says with a worried tone.
You narrow your eyes at her, letting out a giggle. “Ria of course not! I love you, why would I do that?” she sighs in relief, smiling at you. “Good.” she says, pecking your lips, “I love you too baby.”
You smile, “Then take that off and come to bed.” she pulls out, and drops the toy on the floor. “Whatever you say sweetheart.” she kisses your cheek, and gets in bed with you.

The Best Medecine
Maria Hill/Reader
Fictober Day 6 of 31
Words: 816
Summary: When you wake up sick one morning, your wife insists on taking care of you.

The moment you opened your eyes in the morning, you knew that today was not going to be a great day. It felt like there were tiny anvils hovering over your eyelids, pulling them down with all the force in the universe. If you had to fight this hard just to keep your eyes open, it did not bode well for how the rest of your body was going to feel as you tried to wake up and start the day.
The feeling of weakness in your eyes seemed to lessen as you sat up in bed, but the sudden aching in your muscles was the next thing that revealed itself to you. It felt like you were being kept in bed by forces unseen, and you had no idea why today of all days was turning out to be so miserable. You didn’t know how anything could get worse from here.
Or at least, you didn’t until the coughing started.
Deep and guttural, it was an ugly cough, that spoke of gunk in your lungs and pain in your throat. You were just grateful that your wife was not laying in bed next to you at this point, because you would have almost certainly woken her up with that spell of disgusting noises.
You reached for a tissue right as the door opened, and Maria walked in with a glass of water in her hand. Groggily, you started to speak. “Wha-”
“Honey, I think you’re sick,” she said gently. You wanted to laugh, because you both knew that she was right, but she was still so subtle in the way she approached the topic, because both you and her had a bad habit of denying it whenever you weren’t feeling well.
But this time, there was no way to deny your illness without looking like an absolute fool, so you just nodded. “I think so too,” you managed to croak out, and she suppressed a little laugh at your voice.
“Why don’t you go back to sleep, and I’ll make you something to eat in a little while,” she suggested.
Part of you wanted to get up, to make your way across the house and start doing the things you had originally planned on doing today, but you also knew that you wouldn’t make it more than twenty feet away from the bed before you collapsed. “Okay,” was your response, and you shifted in bed slightly as Maria helped you move pillows around to make sure you were propped up. “Rest,” she said softly as she placed a kiss on your cheek and left the room again.
You wondered how the hell you had gotten so lucky as you closed your eyes again, and immediately you were pulled from the waking world and back to the hills of dreaming.
The next time you opened your eyes the sun was much higher in the sky, and bright light was coming in through the gaps in the blinds. You felt better, but still like you had been thrown down a flight of stairs and landed in a human-sized pile of jell-o. Your wheezing breaths were still punctured by the occasional coughing fit, and soon you saw the door open again and Maria step inside. “I got you some medicine,” she said, holding out a plate with some pills and a soft-looking blueberry muffin on a plate. “This should help your cough.”
“Thank you,” you said sincerely, noting that while your voice was better than it had been this morning, it still wasn’t all that great.
“I think you should take a shower, and I’ll change the sheets,” Maria said.
“You don’t have to do that for me,” you said, reaching out to take her hand. This was her time off (from had been an especially challenging set of missions), you could take care of yourself.
“I want to,” was her response. “I’m not going to let you suffer here all alone.”
You didn’t really feel up to arguing any more, so you allowed her to gently herd you towards the shower. The warm water felt wondrous against your aching body, and the steam helped you cough up some of the stuff in your lungs. By the time you were making your way back to your bedroom, you were feeling much better than before, but still very tired.
The feeling of new sheets was nothing short of fantastic, and Maria smiled as she watched you settle into bed. “Come cuddle with me,” you whined, and she didn’t even respond before she was crawling into bed herself. “Thank you for everything,” you said softly as the two of you settled against each other, and you snaked your arms around her. “I love you.”
She sighed in contentment and leaned in to place a kiss on your cheek. “I love you too.”
How the hell had you gotten so lucky?

It started with a kiss. That was all. A simple, innocent, and sweet kiss. Only if she knew that would lead her beneath you, fingers deep in her cunt as she scratched down your back. You mumbled dirty praises in her ear as you kissed down her neck, your tongue sucking hickeys into her soft skin.
“Y/N…please,” You shushed her softly, and she gasped as your digits curled to rub against her g-spot perfectly. You were the only one who understood her body this well, and she never wished to go back.
“What is it, love?” You asked, allowing your free hand to fondle her breasts, pinching her sore nipples as she whimpered. You bit your lip hungrily at the sound, chuckling as she squeezed her eyes shut and let her nails trail upwards to your scalp. She gripped onto your hair as if you were going to leave her, but deep down she knew that would never be an option.
“‘Needa cum,” She mumbled, earning you a quick glare as you rolled your eyes.
“Please, I- I need it s’ bad.” Your thrusts slowed to a halt, and she nearly wept as a result. She wanted nothing more than to tie you down, sliding your cunt against hers forcefully, and humiliate you for being a disgusting pervert. But, after all, she was the one with restrictions, and you were freely permitted to touch her in all the ways she loved.
“And you’ll have it. But if you really needed to cum, I think you’d beg better than that.” She shuddered, and you took your chance to pull out entirely. Her eyes jolted open, tears nearly dropping across her cheeks as she spoke pleas of forgiveness in a hurry. You covered her mouth, letting the soaked digits slip in and granting her the pleasure of tasting her own slick, it brought both of your mouths to water.
“That’s it, good girl!” You spoke. “C’mon, say it. I know you’re just dying to cum, yeah?” She shook her head with a sniffle, but instantly began to chase back when noticing you were pulling away.
“No, no, I’ll- I’ll say it! Please, I’ll do anything you ask of me, Mommy, please!” You smirked at the title, knowing you had her exactly where you wished. She was completely tied down to your mercy, and she didn’t want to stop that.
“Anything?” She nodded, interlacing your fingers together as an attempted offering. You reached across the bedside table, causing her eyes to light up as she spotted the mistletoe. The same one that led you both to this position.
“Just give Mommy a kiss, pretty girl.” She complied, moaning at the bite you gave to her lip. You pulled back with hooded eyes once it became a struggle to breathe, dragging the mistletoe lower as your mouth followed. You brought small pecks to her skin, spending longer on her most sacred and sensitive areas. You kissed her stretch marks with a smile, drawing a smoothing trace over the skin as she shut her eyes. You landed between her inner thighs, instantly taking the time to admire her cunt as she slowly spread her legs once again. Her breathing came heavy, and you could tell she was nervous to show you her true self even though you had seen it multiple times, and each time only became more and more beautiful.
“Mommy, I’m- I’m really sen- sensitive there.” She informed as you started to leave kisses on her hardened clit. The bud pulsed with each press of your lips, and you chuckled at the barely evident lipstick stain.
“Shh, I just wan’ a kiss, Mar.”

“Mail call,” Wanda said, walking into the common area with a few pieces of mail in her hand.
“Who the hell gets paper mail?” Tony asked, pouring coffee into his mug.
“Some of us like to do things without technology,” Steve said as Wanda handed him the newspaper. Tony looked at the super soldier with disbelief. It was rare that the Avengers got mail but each one had specific memberships. Vision received a copy of the newest National Geographic and Pietro got Sports Illustrated. Sometimes Sam received a letter from his service buddies and Steve always got the newspaper, he did take the comics out for Peter. As Wanda handed out the mail, Natasha waited with bated breath to see if she received a letter. It was rare but she was excited nonetheless. The Sokovian smiled at the Black Widow and handed her a letter. It was addressed the same way, her name and her current address with no return.
“Thank you,” the Black Widow said, leaving her unfinished lunch on the table and heading for her room. She barely heard Tony question her odd behavior but she didn’t care. When she was safe behind her bedroom door, she opened the envelope. There was a single picture of a young girl with fiery red hair standing at a picnic table. A birthday cake was lit and presents stayed unwrapped around you. Natasha smiled, moving her finger across your face. Her daughter, whom she only got to hold once on the day she was born. When she defected to SHIELD, she gave up for you to live a normal and safe life. But she was promised that you would go to a good family and on birthdays Natasha would receive a photo. The most important thing was if there was any sign of trouble she would be called in.
“It’s about that time of year,” Maria appeared at her door. “Did you get a photo?” Natasha nodded as her girlfriend sat down next to her. Not counting the agent, four other people knew of your existence. Maria was one of them but not even the Deputy Direction knew of your true location to keep you safe. The agent gently took the picture and smiled.
“She’s spoiled rotten,” Maria teased. The Black Widow chuckled, letting her head fall onto Maria’s shoulder. It was times like this that Natasha questioned if she made the right choice. She wished she could be there for birthdays and every school accomplishment. Maria kissed her head. “I know, baby, I know.”
*
“Miss. Romanoff,” FRIDAY said. Natasha stopped her assault on the sandbag. “Your presence is being requested in the conference room.”
“Do I have time to shower?”
“No, Director Fury said it’s urgent,” it was never a good sign when Fury was involved. She quickly grabbed her water off the floor and headed for the conference room. When she entered, Fury and Maria were standing by a screen and her sister and Clint were sitting at the table. Oh, she did not have a good feeling about this.
“What’s going on?” She asked, not bothering to sit down.
“Does the Winter Soldier mean anything to you?” Of course, it did. He was one of her trainers in the Red Room but also the father of her daughter. In hindsight it was the perfect companionship; one of the Red Room’s best assassins and HYDRA’s most feared weapon. Their child would be the ultimate fighter but they didn’t need to know that.
“Yeah,” Natasha said, crossing her arms. “He’s credited for over two dozen assassinations in the last 50 years.”
“So, he’s a ghost story?” Clint questioned. She shook her head.
“I was escorting a nuclear engineer out of Iran, somebody shot at my tires near Odessa. We lost control, went straight over a cliff,” she said, remembering every part of that day. “I pulled us out, but the Winter Soldier was there. I covered my engineer, so he shot him straight through me,” it was heartbreaking as she stared into the eyes of a man she once knew but there was no recognition in his eyes. She lifted her shirt, revealing a bullet wound on her stomach. “A Soviet slug, no rifling. Bye-bye bikinis.”
“Yeah, I bet you look terrible in them now,” Maria sarcastically said. Natasha smirked.
“Ew,” Yelena said. “He was also a trainer in the Red Room. Before my time but the guards would talk.”
“Why are we here, Fury?” Clint asked. Natasha was wondering the same thing.
“We picked up chatter that was concerning,” he nodded to Maria, who pulled up a recording and played it. The audio was all static and it was hard to hear but Natasha could make out two distinct voices and they said your name and the Winter Soldier.
“Send me there now,” she said. The audio was still playing and Maria quickly stopped it.
“Nat..”
“Don’t ‘Na’t me,” Natasha cut her girlfriend off. “When I gave her up I asked for two things; a picture once or twice a year and to be notified if she’s in danger. In return, I’d never reach out to her.”
“We need you here to run point and we are going to send Belova and Barton to look after her,” Fury instructed.
“Like hell, you are,” Natasha was slowly losing her composure. “She’s my daughter.”
“You don’t have any claim to her,” Natasha’s jaw clenched. Fury sighed. “Can I please speak with Romanoff alone?” Each one of her closest acquaintances left the room and tried to reassure her in their way but she ignored everyone. Her eyes never left the man. When the door closed, Fury sighed again.
“Natasha..”
“Don’t Nick,” she said, walking over to the man. “Don’t say another word because I’m very close to throwing you through a wall,” Fury smirked.
“I’m trying to look after you,” he said. “Your name was mentioned. It could be a trap.”
“I don’t care,” she said. “She’s my daughter even if you don’t think she is,” she saw the smallest clench of his jaw. “I hear her SOS. I will never stop marching toward her. So I’m going. You can’t stop me.” He thought about it.
“Fine,” he relented. “But Maria is coming with you as your backup.”
“Clint will run point and I want Yelena on standby if we need it.” He nodded.
“What do we tell the team?” She wasn’t sure. For the longest time, she’s kept your existence a secret to ensure your safety. But now it may have been all for tonight. No, she couldn’t think like that. You were going to be fine.
“The truth,” she said. “It’s time they know.”
*
“Hurry up,” your best friend called out. You giggled, running over to her. She climbed up to do the monkey bars.
“You got this Sarah,” you cheered as her arms began to shake when she reached halfway. She fell to the ground unable to go the entire way. “Nice try,” you smiled, beginning your turn. You liked the challenge of the monkey bars, the burn of your arms and hands. Unlike Sarah, you didn’t feel your arms shake and you made it all the way across. Sarah rolled her eyes.
“No fair,” she pouted. “How are you so strong?” You shrugged. It was a mystery to you and something you attributed to your biological parents. In PE class, you learned to hold yourself back even though you could beat all the kids in your class. No one wanted to be friends with the abnormally strong girl.
“I don’t know,” you said.
“Come push me on the swings,” Well besides Sarah, she didn’t care that you were stronger than her and she used it to her advantage. You smiled, running after her. She jumped onto the empty swing and you began to push her. It wasn’t long before your mind began to wander as you looked around the park. There was a small party at the pavilion and a small-sided soccer game. A few black vans were parked on the far side. You found your parents sitting at a bench speaking with a man you knew well. Agent Cruise. He was present at every birthday party and family gathering. According to your mom, he was the one that found you when your birth mother abandoned you. Why was he here?
“I’ll be right back,” you told Sarah and walked over to the trio. Agent Cruise saw you right away, a smile on his face.
“Hi firecracker,” he held out his fist and you pumped it three times then gave him a side hug.
“What are you doing here?” You asked him.
“I was in the area and I thought I’d say hi to the family.” That was a lie but you didn’t question it. If he was lying for a reason, it had to be a good one.
“Everything is fine, sweetheart,” your mom said. “Go back and play with Sarah.”
“Okay, love you guys,” you turned around to go back to the playground but a gunshot froze you in your spot. It was a sound you heard on TV and in movies and never expected to hear it in real life. A body crashed into yours pushing you into the ground as another shot went off.
“W-Will,” you stuttered.
“Eyes on me, okay?” You nodded, staring into his brown eyes. “My car isn’t far. I need you to run and I’ll cover you.”
“What about -” Your eyes found your parents, slumped against each other and blood pouring from a single shot in their head. “No,” you whispered, tears pooling at the corner of your eyes but you didn’t let them fall.
“Firecracker, run,” he got off of you and began to fire. You scrambled to your feet as he shot at a man walking towards you. His bullets made him take cover but you locked eyes with him. They were blue, similar to the color of your own eyes. His brown hair was shoulder length and half of his face was covered with a mask. But the most striking feature about him was his metal arm that shone under the California sun.
Finding his car wasn’t hard and it was unlocked when you opened the backseat. You slammed the doors closed and tried to calm your racing heart. You mimicked the breathing technique your dad would do. Breathe in for 5 seconds and hold it for 5. In for 5 seconds and out for 5. Soon your heart rate calmed down but your eyes burned with unshed tears. They died, killed right in front of you. You heard voices outside the car and you covered your mouth to keep quiet. His windows were tinted so they couldn’t see in but they would be able to hear you.
More gunshots and yelling made you yelp and the silhouettes of the men outside disappeared. You removed your hand and listened outside. Soon the car door swung open. You bite back a scream that almost left your lips. “Hey, it’s okay,” you weren’t expecting a woman with red hair and green eyes wearing a black tactical suit. You knew her. Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow, and Avenger. “You're safe but I need you to come with me,” you stayed frozen, staring at the woman in front of you. “Look, we are running out of time. Please come with me.” She held out her hand and you took it, hoping you could trust her.
*
This wasn’t how Natasha wanted to meet you. She had so many other ways that didn’t involve your adoptive parents murdered and an assassin who happens to be your biological father hunting you. Nothing was easy for the Black Widow. “Put this on,” she handed you a helmet. “Get on,” she got on the motorcycle and she felt you get on behind her, hesitant arms wrapping around her waist. Natasha kicked up the kickstand and the engine came to life. “I got her,” she said over the comms.
“Well, you got company,” Maria said. Natasha looked behind her and saw 3 vans turning down the street; they were one and the Winter Soldier handing out the window with an AK-47. “Stick to the side streets,” she continued. “I’ll get you both back safely.” Natasha trusted Maria to do just that and started to drive.
“You have to trust me, okay? When I lean, you lean,” Natasha said over the wind. “If you don’t, they will catch us and kill you.” She wasn’t sure if you heard her until she felt your head and squeezed her waist.
“Take your next right,” Natasha let out a shaky breath and turned right. Your body leaned with hers. Okay, the Black Widow thought, maybe they’d get through this.
*
The motorcycle stopped and you took off the helmet. You were in an alley between 2 apartment buildings. The Black Widow got off and helped you down, your legs shook and were a little unsteady. “Come on,” she said, leading you to a door. “We can rest soon.” She opened the door and led you up 2 flights of stairs. The redhead stopped at a door, room 324, and knocked three times. It took a minute for the door to open. In front of you was a woman with black hair, pulled back into a bun. Her brown eyes were sharp but they landed on Natasha and they softened.
“Glad you're alive,” she said, stepping out of the way. You hesitated but followed the Black Widow inside the apartment.
“Did you have that little faith?” Natasha teased sitting on the couch. You could see the tension leave her body.
“What the heck is going on?” You asked. “I just watched my parents die in front of me, a mystery man with a metal man was chasing me, and an Avenger shows up,” you looked at the other woman. “I have no idea who you are or what is going on.”
“I’m Maria,” she waved, sitting down next to Natasha. It was nice to have her name but that did not answer any of your questions.
“We can’t tell you everything right now but you're safe here,” Natasha said. You stared at the redhead, the color so similar to your own. Now that you looked at the Avenger you saw a lot of your features in her.
“How can I feel safe when you won’t tell me the truth?” Her green eyes locked onto your blue ones and she looked away.
“We can’t,” she said. “Not right now.” Your jaw clenched.
“We may be here for a while,” Maria said, standing up. “I’ll show you to your room.” You continued to stare at the Black Widow, wanting her to look at you or wanting to grab her by her shoulders and yell - ‘are you my mother?’ but she wouldn’t look at you. You sighed, following Maria.
“Here you go,” it was a simple room. A bed pushed up in the corner, no TV or posters of any kind. It was a stark contrast to your room. “I know this isn’t ideal,” you skimmed your hand over the bedsheets. “But we will keep you safe.” You looked at Maria.
“She’s my mom, right?” Maria had an excellent poker face but it was a game you’ve been playing since you could talk. She was surprised by your statement so there were a few ways she could go about this; lie, tell the truth, or deflect. You were leaning towards deflection.
“There are take-out menus on the fridge, figure out what you want to eat.” Deflection. It was the easiest way, to tell the truth without betraying someone’s trust.
“Right,” you sat down on the bed. “Thanks.” She nodded.
“Come find us if you need anything,” you didn’t respond as she closed the door. You leaned against the wall, looking out the window to the street down below. People were going about their day unaware of how your life was altered forever.
*
“How is she?” Clint asked over the computer. They just finished a meeting with the rest of the team back in New York to come up with the next phase of the plan. She ignored Tony's thousand and one questions regarding you. Overall he seemed hurt she never told him, since ‘we’ve been through so much together.’ Natasha felt bad, they were her team, her family but sometimes the thought of you hurt too much. But a plan was made which consisted of you, Maria, and Natasha to head to Norway to lay low while the rest of the teams tracked and captured the Winter Soldier. Easier said than done. Now she was only talking with Yelena and Clint while Maria tried to get you to eat.
“She’s quiet,” Natasha knew that was to be expected. “She hasn’t said anything since Maria showed her to her room.”
“Does she know?” Yelena asked. Natasha sighed, nodding her head.
“Yeah, she asked Maria but she didn’t give her a yes or now,” You were smart, maybe a little too smart. “But I haven’t told her.”
“Are you going to?”
“Do we know how they found her?” Natasha deflected. She didn’t have an answer to Yelena’s question. Clint nodded.
“Her adoptive father got into some gambling debts,” he said. “Ripped off the wrong people.”
“But why go after her?” Yelena questioned. “Why do they want her alive?” Now Natasha knew that answer. She pinched the bridge of her nose.
“Her biological father is the Winter Soldier,” she told them. “That is why they are after her. If she falls into the wrong hands, she could be an unstoppable weapon.”
*
You couldn’t sleep. Every time you close your eyes, you saw the metal man with a gun and your parents dead at your feet. Natasha came into your room to tell you that all three of you would be leaving bright and early and to try to get some sleep. You didn’t respond as she left saying goodnight. So you lay awake, staring up at the ceiling. Finally, you sighed and stood up leaving your small room to venture into the rest of the apartment. The other bedroom was on the opposite side of the apartment but you tried to be quiet as you went through the bare kitchen. In the last drawer you opened, you found what you were looking for. A single deck of cards. You grabbed it and sat down at the dining room table. Game night was common practice that took place with you and your parents almost every night. At a young age, they taught you poker, blackjack, pitch, rummy, and spades. You never left home without a deck of cards as a simple game of poker square or solitaire could calm your racing mind. So, you set up a poker square game. It was a game of strategy, patience, and a little bit of luck unless you could count cards. Another skill your parents taught you. “Couldn’t sleep?” The Black Widow questioned. You didn’t answer, glancing up at the redhead as she got two bottles of water and sat across from you. “What are you playing?”
“Poker,” you answered.
“Poker? Aren’t you a little young to know how to play poker?” You rolled your eyes. It was the same thing said to you by every adult when they found out you could play.
“Poker isn’t just a way to gamble all the money in your pocket,” you didn’t look away from the cards. “It can teach you emotional stability in changing situations, to think analytically, and how to read people. But also how to be deceptive, you have to make everyone believe you have something in your hand when in reality you have something else,” Finally, you looked up at the Black Widow. “You’d be good at it. Your poker face is shit though.”
“Excuse me?”
“You know I thought about you all the time,” you went back to your game. “It kept me up some nights questioning why my mother gave me up. Maybe I wasn’t good enough or a mistake or she didn’t love me,” a glance up and you saw everything you needed in her eyes. They softened as her other facial features stayed stoic.
“Not your mom, kid,” she lied.
“From an emotional standpoint, sure, you aren’t. But biologically, I know I share your DNA,” you flipped the last card, placing it in the final spot. Taking a moment to look over how you did, you gathered up the cards again. “Shit poker face remember. It’s all in your eyes, they give too much away,” you shuffled the cards and began to play again. “Not that it’s a bad thing,” you added quickly, not wanting to offend the woman sitting across from you. “Just surprising,” you took a sip of water she gave you. “Can I ask you something?”
“Go for it,” she said. “You can ask but that doesn’t mean I’ll answer.” Her smirk mirrored your own.
“Say we don’t share any biological relation, why would the Avengers come and save me?” You began to play again. “I'm nobody,” you said. “It would probably cost less to have them kill me,” you saw her flinch slightly at your blunt comment.
“You're not the only one he’s after,” you looked up at her.
“Why?” You questioned.
“I don’t know,” she answered. You hummed, nodding your head.
“First time you were honest with me,” you cleaned up the cards. “Goodnight, Natasha,” you took the cards and the water bottle.
“Night, kid,” her voice followed you to the room. When the door closed, you rested your back against it. Your poker face was failing. You felt the cracks. Letting out a shaky breath, you pulled back the covers and climbed in. You were surprised at how quickly you fell asleep.
*
Norway was beautiful. It was your first time leaving the country. You sat in the backseat of the white car with Maria in the passenger seat and Natasha was driving. You stayed quiet, playing with the charm around your neck. It was a turtle dove, a  Christmas gift from Agent Cruise, who had a matching charm. You wondered if he was okay. Maria tried to make conversation asking about your likes and dislikes. You kept your answers short. Natasha drove through a dirt road through the woods and when the car emerged you saw a camper in the middle of a clearing. The driver's side window was down and you heard water. There was nothing for miles around. “It’s not much but we’ll stay safe,” Natasha said, parking the car. Maria got out and opened your door for you to get out. The wind caused goosebumps to form on your skin as you followed the couple.
The camper was simple, a couch that faced a small TV and a kitchen. Natasha walked towards the main bedroom, passing a bathroom. When she opened the bedroom door, there was a man fast asleep on top of the bed. The Black Widow hit the man on his foot, who jerked awake. “You're in our bed.”
“I’m..I’m not even under the covers,” he sat up, looking at Maria then you. “You're new. Who are you?” His voice was laced with a British accent.
“I’m not telling you,” you said, not missing the way Natasha smiled at you.
“Did you get everything on my list?” Natasha asked, walking back into the main part of the camper. You sat down on the couch as the three adults stood around the kitchen countertop.
“Got passports, entry visas, and a couple of local driver’s licenses,” he handed the couple a white envelope. “There is a generator outside. It’s petrol-powered and the septic tank will need a flush in a couple of weeks,” he spun around, leaning against the counter. He was looking at you. “You’ll have to haul your rubbish into town. It’s about a 20-minute drive,” he continued. Finally, you couldn’t help but stare at him.
“Can I help you?” You questioned. He smiled.
“No, just looking,” you rolled your eyes.
“Take a picture and it’ll last longer,” you mumbled, standing up and leaving the camper. You followed the sound of running water to a small stream. You sat on the bank and got lost in the water.
*
“She’s a spitfire,” Mason said, turning to face the couple. Maria picked up the envelope on the counter and hit his arm. “Ow, what was that for?” He rubbed the spot that was just hit.
“Leave her alone,” Maria said. “You're lucky I hit you and she didn’t.” Mason rolled his eyes.
“Does she know?’ He questioned. “She must, right?” Natasha walked over to the window and watched you. You were kneeling by the steam’s edge. “I mean it’s like I’m seeing double.” Mason continued.
“She does,” Natasha whispered. “Not sure how she feels about it.”
“Have you asked?” He asked, standing behind her. The Black Widow shook her head.
“She’s been through a lot. I don’t want to add more to it.”
*
The three of you fell into a routine. You slept on the pullout couch while Maria and Natasha were in the main bedroom. By the time the Black Widow was up for her morning run, you were up playing with the deck of cards you brought from the apartment. Maria would cook breakfast and the two Avengers spent the majority of the day doing Avenger duties, trying to help their teammates in any way. While they were doing that, you explored the surrounding woods and walked up and down the creek. When they needed to go into town, you went with them and a movie to end the night. Repeat. Repeat. And repeat. The repetition of the days wasn’t bothering you but the lack of conversation with the Black Widow was driving you insane. Maria was making an effort and you enjoyed talking and playing cards with her. Every time Maria invited Natasha but she would turn her down, coming up with a bullshit excuse. You knew what she was doing. She was building a wall between you and her. It would be fine if you didn’t catch her longing looks at you or hear Maria and Natasha fight one night when they thought you were asleep. Maria called her girlfriend out on her stand-offish behavior and Natasha claimed it was better off this way, it was only temporary.
Temporary. You were only a mission. Once the metal-armed man was dealt with you would go back home. But where was home? The only parents you knew were dead, no one spoke about Agent Cruise, and you were beginning to feel safe with the couple. Even though Natasha’s behavior was upsetting you. You wanted her to acknowledge you so were going to push her buttons.
*
She just got off a meeting with the other Avengers and you heard the last of it as you came back into the camper for some water. The man disappeared. There were no signs of him. Natasha sighed, closing her laptop. You stared at the Black Widow from the kitchen, finished the glass of water, and placed it on the counter. “I want to go home,” you suddenly said. Her head snapped to you, you thought she was going to give herself whiplash. “They said he’s gone so it’s safe for me to go home.”
“And where are you going to go?” She questioned. Your jaw clenched.
“Anywhere is better than here,” you mumbled, ignoring the flash of hurt across Natasha’s face and walking back outside. You heard Natasha behind you.
“You know if you go back to the States he’ll kill you,” you stopped. “That is what he’s waiting for you. He will find you and kill you.”
“Then use me as bait,” you turned to face her. “Have the Avengers stand guard, he’ll come, you’ll play hero, and we’ll go our separate ways.”
“That’s not happening,” her face was hard to read, not even you could read her eyes. She had been practicing. Shit. “Even if I thought that was a good idea, which it isn’t. You aren’t ready,” you heard a car pull up as Maria returned from a quick trip to the store. “You have no idea how to survive in this world. It will chew you up and spit you out.”
“I hate you,” you said, tears swelling in her eyes. You couldn’t help it. Natasha shook her head.
“No, you don’t. Shit poker face. Your eyes give away too much,” repeated the same thing you said to her. “Not that it’s bad, just surprising.”
“Screw you,” you snapped and ran towards the woods, ignoring Maria calling your name.
*
“Do I even want to know what happened?” Maria asked. Natasha put her hands on her hips and looked down at the grass.
“She wants to go home and I told her that as soon as she sets foot into the States he’ll kill her,” she sighed. “She said we could use her as bait and I may have said some other hurtful things.” Natasha heard her girlfriend sigh and walk over to her. With gentle hands, she lifted Natasha’s head to force her to look up. Green eyes stared into warm brown ones.
“Why are you pushing her away, my love?” Maria whispered, gently pushing away a tear. Natasha didn’t realize she was crying.
“This won’t last,” Natasha whispered. “Once she’s safe she’ll go back to a new family and I’ll never see her again. I can’t,” she cleared her throat. “I can’t handle growing close to her and then having her ripped away from me,” Maria brought her into a hug, cradling her head. Natasha felt her fingers run through her hair. Maria’s steady heartbeat helped the Black Widow’s heart calm down. Maria smelt like sandalwood and rain but it reminded Natasha of home. Maria stepped back, keeping her arms wrapped around her.
“But wouldn’t a little pain be worth it so you experience having her now as you’ve always dreamt about,” Maria pushed a piece of hair behind her ear. “Love her now because you have the chance to.” Natasha let out a shaky breath.
“I love you,” the Russian whispered. “I don’t think I could do this without you.” Maria kissed her softly.
“I’m not going anywhere, baby, I’m right here.”
*
“Kid,” you spun around to see the Black Widow behind you. You weren’t surprised she found you on a small rock near the stream’s edge. “You said you want to go home fine but I’m going to train you.”
“Train?” You questioned.
“Yes,” she crossed her arms. “Once word gets out who you are, that man won’t be the only one after you. I was right when I said you won’t survive this world so I’m going to make sure you can. I won’t always be around to save you,” she added on quickly. Her statement made your stomach drop but there was a crack in her pocket face. She was lying.
“Okay,” you whispered, instead of calling her out on it.
“Okay,” Natasha repeated. “Come on, Maria is cooking enchiladas.” You stood up, wiping the dirt off your pants, and followed the Black Widow back to the camper.
*
Training started the following morning. You were up when Natasha went for her run and you joined her. It's been a while since you had to use your full speed to catch up with someone. Natasha was a lot faster than your 5th-grade classmates. After you ran, it was a quick breakfast then strength training and hand-to-hand combat. Maria would stop the two of you for lunch then it was weapon training. That was your favorite. Instead of nightly movies, you spent your time watching fight sequences and going over old mission reports to enhance your battle strategy.
It has hard and back-breaking work but you loved it. It reminded you of when your dad would take you to his poker games and gave you the job of reading his opponents. No one expected a little girl to have a better poker face than a 40-year-old man. Even though Natasha was yelling orders at you, it was the closest you felt to the Black Widow. Was it the healthiest way to bond with the mother that abandoned you? No, but she and Maria were all you had. You liked the proud smile Natasha tried to hide when you did something well or Maria’s gentle hands to help clean the cuts and bruises you received from the day’s training. It was nice, you felt like a family no matter how grueling the training sessions were.
*
“You're holding back,” Natasha said. You were sparing with the Black Widow with Maria off to the side, watching. You were exhausted. The couple already put you through a 5-mile run and intense strength training. Natasha promised this was the last thing for the day if you managed to pin her. Easier said than done. “Come on, kid, push.”
“I’m trying,” you said, putting your hands over your head, trying to get more air in your lungs.
“When you're tired this is how you grow and learn. Now come get me,” you rushed her but Natasha grabbed your arm and threw you back to the ground. You groaned, staring up at the blue sky. “Come on get up. Do you think he’ll or anyone will let you have a break?” You huffed and stood back up. “This is how you survive. You get knocked down 100 times and you keep getting up because if you don’t you will die.” You sighed, wiping the sweat off your forehead. Think and breathe. Think and breathe. It was like a game of poker. You had to make her think you were going to do something then change your attack. Who knew your parents were training you to be an Avenger? Natasha said you were holding back so you weren’t going to. You sighed, bouncing on your toes, and sprinted towards her. She expected it since it was the same move you went for prior but when she went to grab your arm, you grabbed her and twisted it behind her back. She was quick to escape and you jumped back, creating distance between you and her. There was a smile dancing on her lips but you ignored it. You had to focus.
She made the first move and punched with her right but you blocked it with your forearm. You blocked a few of her blows and hit her a few times in the stomach. She stumbled backward and you surged forward. You grabbed one of her arms and the other went behind her neck. You turned into her, sticking your right foot into her leg, and used the momentum to fling her over your body and onto the ground. You put your knee into her chest and stared down at her. You stared at your reflection in her green eyes. You didn’t recognize the look in your blue eyes but you’ve seen it before. The man with the metal arm had the same look in his blue eyes. It scared you, seeing your eyes void of all emotions and mimicking the glare of that man. Your eyes were dark, losing the light that your parents loved so much. They were void of the color so many people envied. You were terrified of yourself.
With shaky legs, you stepped away from Natasha and Maria was already walking over. “That man who's after me, what’s his name?” You asked, trying to keep your voice from shaking. Natasha stood up and the couple had a silent conversation with one another.
“He’s called the Winter Soldier,” Maria said. “HYDRA’s deadliest assassin.” You recognized the name HYDRA, a name said in passing at one of your dad’s poker games. You looked at Natasha.
“Who is he to me?” You questioned. Her jaw clenched. “Tell me!” You demanded.
“He’s your father,” she said simply. You weren’t sure if it made it worse or better. “The Red Room decided to work along with HYDRA to create the perfect weapon,” there was a deep sadness edged in every one of her words. She looked away from you and towards the woods. Your stomach turned. You were a product of a forced relationship.
“Does he know?” Natasha shrugged.
“I don’t know,” her voice shook. “They did this horrible thing to reset him and wipe his memory. I don’t even think he remembers me,” Maria gently took her girlfriend’s hand in hers. You felt cold all of a sudden. Every one of the weird quirks that made you different now had an explanation.
“Uh okay,” you nodded your head. “I need a minute.” You turned around and walked into the camper, making a beeline for the bathroom and closing the door behind you. Your hands shook as you turned on the water and splashed water on your face. You tried to regulate your breathing; in for 5, out for 5, in for 5, and out for 5 but it wasn’t helping. Bile was rising in your throat. Did Natasha have a choice? Did they have a relationship together or was it forced? You closed the toilet seat and you sat down, your legs finally gave out.
HYDRA was a name whispered once or twice at your dad’s poker game. Your parents must have known who your biological parents were. Did they care? Did they realize the mistake they made before it was too late? You sighed, biting down on a towel and letting out a scream. You hoped the towel would muffle it.
*
Maria found you sitting on the couch with one of Natasha’s pistols and a timer. Like playing poker or another card game, you found that dismantling a gun and putting it back together calmed your racing mind. You glanced at the agent. “Where’s Nat?” You asked.
“Ran to the store,” you nodded. Maria sat down next to you, taking the gun from your hands. “Maybe we should talk instead of playing with a gun.”
“There is nothing to talk about,” you stared at the TV. “I mean I find out my biological mother is an Avenger and my father is a feared assassin who is trying to kill me,” you felt your throat burn as tears threatened to escape. “My adoptive parents are dead and I’m pretty sure they were the reason he found me,” you folded your hands together, squeezing them. “I finally have answers to so many questions but now I don’t want them because I feel so alone,” you sighed, angrily whipping your face. “But I’m so fucking fine.”
“Language,” she gasped. You looked at the woman and laughed at the teasing smile on her face. “I want to show you something,” she stood up and grabbed a small box next to the TV. She handed it to you. “It was part of the arrangement,” you opened the box and saw pictures of you at all stages of your life. “Natasha agreed to give you up in return she got pictures of you and was notified if you were in trouble.” Maria sighed, picking up one of the pictures. “I know it’s very hard to see but she loves you very much even if she doesn’t say it,” you closed the box, whipping away a tear that fell. “And you aren’t alone. You have us.”
“But when the mission is over, what happens to me then?” You asked.
“What do you want?” You weren’t expecting the question, not thinking you had a choice in the matter.
“I know what I want,” you answered. “But I don’t think I can have it.”
*
Natasha didn’t join you and Maria for dinner. She was outside, drinking from a bottle of vodka when you joined her. The only light was from the stars and the small camping light. You sat down next to her on the top of the picnic table. “Are you hungry?” You asked. “I can go get you something.” She smiled.
“Not hungry, kid, but thank you.” You nodded, watching her take another sip from the bottle.
“I’m sorry,” you told her, looking up at the stars so you couldn’t see her face. “This probably hasn’t been easy for you since I’m a constant reminder of everything. Plus I know I haven’t made it easy for you.”
“This is not your fault. I should have been honest with you from the beginning. It just,” Natasha sighed. “Hurt too much.” You nodded, that you understood. Silence fell between you and her.
“I asked Maria what was going to happen to me once the Winter Soldier situation was over. She asked what I wanted,” you looked at her. “Do you know what I want?” You asked. She shook her head. “I want to go live with you and Maria and meet the other Avengers.” The shock was evident on her face.
“Why?” She whispered.
“Because you're my mom,” you whispered back. “And I know I’ll be safe as long as I’m with you.” Natasha let out a breathless laugh, shaking her head.
“Your innocence was stolen because of all this,” she whispered, pushing some of your red hair behind your ear. “I will send out an army to find you even in the middle of the darkest nights. I will rescue you,” she whipped away a few of your tears that fell. You didn’t realize you were crying. “There is no distance that cannot be covered. I’ll be your shelter and armor. There was never a moment you were forgotten or I wasn’t thinking about you.”
“I can’t,” your voice shook. “I can’t lose any more people in my life. I think it will break me.” She pulled you into a hug and something inside you snapped. You cried. You finally cried against her.
“Sh, dorogoy (sweetheart),” Natasha whispered, rubbing soothing circles on your back. “I’m right here. I won’t go anywhere.” You heard the camper door open but you didn’t move from the Black Widow’s arms. You felt the table move as Maria sat down on your other side. Without looking you intertwined your fingers with Maria. She squeezed your hand. “We won’t leave you. We are right here.” You nodded your head against Natasha. You so wanted to believe them but there was a theme of people coming into your life and leaving. Maybe you were the problem.
“Come on, sweetheart,” Maria whispered. “Let’s go to bed. We have a long day tomorrow.” You nodded, removing yourself from Natasha. ‘Along the day,’ you thought, ‘It’s been the longest few weeks of your life. What’s one more long day?’

22. “You can still use your legs, so don’t say that I was jealous again”
25. “Don’t cover my bite marks, or I might just have to add more”
A/n: so this was my first time writing Maria and I didn’t wanna immediately write smut. Sorry :/
Tumblr media
Maria was normally a totally closed off person, the team often tried to engage her and it took several years for her to finally tell them something. But it was never something really really personal which made them even more surprised when she brought a girl to Starks party. On her arm was a beautiful y/h/c girl wearing a shorter dress and gazing up at her with utter admiration.
“Oh wow, who’s that?” Sam asked Steve who was also starring at you. Next to him on the couch, Natasha, Bruce and Wanda were also starring at you.
“I do not know but I am going over there” Wanda said and walked over to you. By now you were standing at the bar, ordering for you and your girlfriend. “Hey there” the brunette spoke up as she slid next to you, shooting you an overconfident smirk.
“Hello” you smiled at her friendly before looking straight ahead again, you weren’t really interested in having a conversation.
“You know, I would have thought that god would keep an angel like you to himself” She asked coming a bit closer again. You had to bite your lip to stop your laugh.
“Is this how you talk to everyone here?” You asked with a grin and turned towards her.
“No, just pretty girls. My names Wanda” she stretched out her hand for you to take, her smile even cockier than before.
“I’m y/n and I gotta go” you said after shaking her hand as your drinks arrived. While Wanda was nice and kinda funny you’d rather be with Maria. So you took your drinks and walked away and past the couch were the others sat.
“What was that?” Maria asked once you were back, taking the drink from your hand. She eyed Wanda who walked back to the couch with a small pout.
“She just wanted to say hi” you weren’t going to tell her the flirting stuff because you didn’t want the agent to hurt her. But she could see through your lies and only gave you an ‘mhm’ before continuing her conversation.
The whole evening went like that, somebody’ either from the team or somebody else, came to you and tried to flirt. It annoyed Maria unbelievably but she didn’t wanna cause a scene and she trusted you. So she let you be on the other side of the room, but always keeping an eye on you, just in case somebody made you uncomfortable.
You could see Maria’s face turn red once Wanda came back and started to touch you. They weren’t forceful or anything, her hand on your arm or your shoulder, sometimes innocently grazing your thigh. It was hard to hide your grin, so you turned your head the other way.
At one point nearly everybody left except the team, some dudes you didn’t know, you and Maria. Fury even came to visit once it was just you guys, he was the one who wanted to introduce you. “Everybody, this is my assistant and new agent y/n y/l/n. She will be here the next couple of days when we have our conferences” he said and gave you a pat on the shoulder before sitting down. You sat down between Maria and Sam which turned out to be a big mistake.
“You know, you could assist me in my bedroom tonight” he told you with a smile, his arm laying behind you on the couch.
“I’ll pass but thank you” you mumbled leaning further into Maria. You wanted to climb on her lap and hide your face in her neck but she didn’t wanna tell the team so you just scooted away a bit.
At one point Natasha came to rescue and made you sit next to her and on the edge of the couch. Sure she was flirting too, but it wasn’t as sexual and way more funny. Plus, you kinda liked the way Maria looked at you once Natasha was flirting with you and she wasn’t close enough to stop it.
“Alright, it was really nice to meet everyone but you know, early day tomorrow. So I’ll see you then, thanks again Tony” you said as you stood up, waving everybody except Natasha and Wanda who decided to hug you. Much to Maria’s dismay.
You waited outside for about ten minutes, knowing that Maria wasn’t gonna take long. A small grin on your lips as you leaned against the wall, purse in hand. It took her longer than you thought to come down, 25 minutes passed when you finally saw her. But your smile fell when your girlfriend came down the stairs with one of the dudes you didn’t know, his arm slightly wrapped around her waist and a smile on both of their lips. They talked for a short moment, Maria typing on his phone before he leaned down. You weren’t stupid and Maria wasn’t either, be planned to kiss her, probably hoping to take her home but she turned her head in the right moment for him to kiss her check.
You were fuming when she came over to you. A stupid cooky smile on her damn face. “What the hell?” You asked with a strong voice, an annoyed look on your face.
“What? You think you’re the only one who can flirt?” She asked walking to the car before you could answer. You rolled your eyes and sat in the passenger seat.
“Flirting? I was being flirted with, I didn’t do anything actively. You were the one who gave a dude her number and he nearly kissed you” you tried to stay reasonable but it was no use. “God what the hell were you thinking?” You shook you head looking out of the window.
“You started all of this, they were all over you” her eyes flickered over to you as you stood on a red light. She watched as your brows furrowed and your head lightly shook.
“So what? I didn’t do anything except being nice, they’re your friends!” You told her as you got out of the car, house key already in your hand. Both of you walking through the door and letting everything fall to the floor.
“Oh so suddenly being nice means whoring yourself out?”
“What the hell? I was being nice, you were the one who flirted around and nearly kissed somebody else! You wanted to keep this secret and now you can’t deal with the fact that other people might want me too”
“Please, this is not what this is about” she screamed back making you roll your eyes and turn around. “What are you doing?” She asked.
“I’m leaving Maria, this is useless. You don’t trust me but you wanna keep me a secret. This won’t work like that and I do not feel like arguing with a brick wall right now” you argued back, your keys already in your hand.
“You’re being pity, y/n” this time you couldn’t help but laugh.
“I’m being pity? You’re the one who’s pity, you’re jealous and you can’t deal with it Maria” you told her sternly, pulling of your second stiletto with an annoyed sigh.
The next sound that escaped you was a yelp as the brunette had picked you up and carried you into the bedroom. “Wanna say that again?” She asked teasingly as she threw you onto the bed. You were in for a night.
A couple of hours later, Maria fell next to your own sweaty body. She waited a couple of moment before doing so to make sure you had calmed down. She then stood up to get a cloth to clean you. “Open your legs love” she mumbled which made you whine but do so nonetheless. “You can still use your legs, so don’t say I was jealous again” she told you with a raised eyebrow and a grin.
Once she was done cleaning you and got you a glass of water she laid behind you, her arms wrapped around your waist as she carefully intertwined your legs. “I gave him the wrong number by the way” she suddenly whispered into your neck, placing a soft kiss there. “I wouldn’t have given him my number under any circumstances” she added, her thumb carefully stroking your hand.
“You better” you mumbled before falling asleep.
The next morning Maria woke up before you, but instead of getting up she decided to stay in bed with you a bit longer as she admired her work on your neck. There were countless hickeys scattered across your neck, your shoulder, your breasts and your thighs. She couldn’t wait for the moment you saw them.
Not long after your alarm started to ring which made you stir, immediately turning towards Maria and hiding in the crook of her neck to avoid getting up. “Come on sleepy head, we gotta get going” she mumbled and pressed a kiss to your head before getting into the shower. Once you were awake enough you followed her, the bathroom already full of steam, covering the mirror.
You showered way longer than you actually should have, but if you have the opportunity to shower with your really beautiful and smart girlfriend, you don’t say no. So you hurried out of the shower, grabbed some clothes and dried your hair before returning into the bathroom to do your makeup. Your mouth fell open once you looked into the mirror. “Maria hill! You better move your ass in here right now” you screamed.
When she came in she was already wearing her annoyingly sexy smirk which meant that she definitely knew what this was about. Her arms wrapped around your waist as she stood behind you, holding the hand that was getting the concealer down. “Don’t” was the only thing she said as she smiled at you through the mirror.
“What? I can’t go to work like this”
“Don’t cover my bite marks or I might just have to add more” she said sternly, “you know I mean it” a heavy kiss was placed on your neck before her arms unwrapped themselves.
“This is gonna be fun” you mumbled as you put down the concealer and tried to move your hair so it was covering most of your neck. Unsuccessfully so.
The moment you set foot into the conference room it was clear that this was going to be the most embarrassing day of your life. You were still standing at the door when everybody’s eyes were on you. “Damn! Y/n got lucky last night” Tony laughed causing your face to turn red. You were teased her and there before Maria came inside, her hand immediately going from your waist to your ass as she pulled you closer and led you towards your seats.
She was quick to turn around and send Sam and Natasha a wink before pulling out your chair. Now it was their turn to blush and look down which made you chuckle. “Who would have thought?” Clint said clearly surprised as he watched you and Maria while Tony grinned.
“Maria” he called out and threw a piece of paper towards her to gain her attention. “Nice” he said with a nod and a proud look on his face which made everybody laugh.
“I will just say this to be clear, the next person who flirts with her is gonna get their ass handed. Is that clear?” Suddenly she was back in full commander mode as everybody nodded at her. She smirked before placing a kiss on your lips, a happy sigh leaving her.
So maybe, jealousy wasn’t always the worst thing.

You were at the funeral. Her funeral. And you still couldn’t believe it. It couldn’t be. Maria couldn’t be… Dead.
But there you stood on the runway, watching as her coffin was brought back into the States. Your lip quivered and you tried to keep yourself together. You couldn’t help the tear that slipped from your eyes. And then another. They just streamed down your face. And you were powerless to stop them. Just like you were powerless to have stopped Maria from dying.
You wanted to yell at the woman. Tell her she wasn’t allowed to leave yet. There was so much that you still had to say. So much time that has been taken from the two of you. It wasn’t fair… Your mind spiraled in this tornado of chaos.
Elizabeth, Maria’s mother, eventually came over to you, embracing you tightly. Her touch anchored you back into reality slightly. You were shaking in the woman’s embrace. She then pulled back, holding you by the shoulders.
“I-I’m so S-sorrry, Eliz—” you stammered in a chocked up manner, but the woman hushed you.
“Don’t be, sweet girl. You were as close, if not closer to Maria, than I was…” she comforted.
“And I promise you, I will find out what happened to our girl…” Elizabeth swore to you.
You took a deep breath and nodded, thanking the woman before she went off. You talked with some other officials and such, attending the after-ceremony, while you saw Maria’s mom talking to a man in the distance.
You spent the next days, weeks in your apartment. Numb. Missing Maria. It was all so overwhelming. The only person you talked to nowadays was Elizabeth. She could somewhat understand your pain…
She’d told you what Fury had told her. The details helped you a little. But you knew that it wasn’t the whole truth… You were barely making it. Everything was day by day, one step at a time… Otherwise, you’d drown from all the grief around you.
Your life didn’t seem worth living without the love of your life..
One day, she dropped by, knocking at your door. You shuffled off the couch and made your way to the door. Opening it, you smiled lightly at the sight of Elizabeth.
“I want to show you something” she said, indicating for you to follow her.
You nodded, quickly excusing yourself o change into a new pair of black leggings and a long sleeved shirt. Then coming along into her car, she drove you out into what seemed to be nothing but land. The woman then stopped at a clearing.
“Where are we?” You asked.
“I… Reached out to Fury. Again. About you. He said he wanted to meet with you.” Elizabeth explained.
“Here?”
Suddenly a light descended in the middle of the clearing. And then there was a bright transport/elevator of some kind standing there. You got out of the car.
“That will take me to Fury…?” You quizzically asked.
The woman nodded.
“Thank you.” You told Elizabeth, before going to the doors of the ship and entering it.
The ship took you up. You held on to a side beam of the vehicle as it accelerated intensely. Moving really high up. You assumed outer space. Then suddenly it stopped. And the doors opened.
You stumbled out of the space pod and into some sort of space base corridor. You rounded the hallway and saw the SWORD logo on the wall. Eventually, you found the control room. And none other than the Nick Fury.
“Ms. L/N, I’ve been expecting you…” Fury cooly stated.
“I… Sir… Sorry, but why am I here…?” You stammered.
The man turned around to face you. His face was layers of masks, but you thought you could detect some… sympathy perhaps…?
“Follow me.” He said, walking out of the room and down the hall.
You nodded and followed the man.
“Elizabeth reached out to me about you, and how you had been taking Maria… being gone…” Fury sighed.
He led you into a room, an observation room with a two way mirror. But the other side was dark. You followed him into the room, closing the door behind him.
“We both thought it would be best if you know the truth…”
Then Fury switched the lights on. The other room lit up. It was very hospital like. And in there, laid Maria. She wasn’t moving. Your eyes widened and your mouth dropped. There was a monitor next to her, showing stable vitals.
What…?
“Is she…?” You whispered.
“Alive. Thank god.” He breathed out.
You were saved. Life had meaning again..
A wave of relief washed over you. Your life flashed before your eyes, her life with yours flashed before your eyes. Everything made sense again. You couldn’t breathe for a moment, you were getting so chocked up.
“W-why isn’t she… a-awake?” You stammered.
“She’s healing. Had a long recovery…” Fury sighed, “It’s all in here.”
He handed you a file.
“I didn’t just tell you because of what Elizabeth said. I’m telling you because I need someone who can watch her when she wakes up. The last men we used this specific procedure with had side effects…” He explained, indicating to the large file, “Read it. And then stay by her side as she recovers.”
You nodded swiftly.
“I understand…” you muttered, staring at the file.
Fury then left you in the room. You watched him close the door. You sighed, glanced at the brunette in the other room, your heart aching. Then siting down at the desk in the room, you began to read the file from the beginning.
The title read T.A.H.I.T.I. Project…

Maria Hill x Female Reader 170 words
You unlocked your door with a click and pulled off your heels as soon as you walked through with a sigh. Today had been awful. You had, yet again, bumped into Maria (which wasn't necessarily a bad thing) which had made you late to your meeting, again. And then, after the meeting was over, you found out that you had forgotten to bring your own lunch so you had to pick at something that resembled food from the canteen. You slammed your door shut and threaded a hand through your hair, you were exhausted.
You checked the time on your watch before taking it off, and that was when a piece of paper slipped from underneath it. You stared, wide-eyed, as it fluttered to the floor and instantly thought back to papers from earlier that day. Hastily, you picked up off from the floor and peeled it open. Your jaw dropped when you read it:
'I knew I'd bump into you sooner or later'
~Maria's number~
How the hell had she managed that?

Teasing to Please
Tumblr media
pairing: maria hill x reader
warnings: suggestive themes, swear word
summary: Teasing your girlfriend is something you just can’t resist, but even Maria has her limits.
word count: 1.4k
a/n: my first time writing maria but i rly wanted to, so the lovely @didujustcallmedumb came through and sent me a prompt <33 hope u enjoy and pls lmk what y’all think :))
Brushing your foot up along the inside of Maria’s calf, you enjoyed the flush that arose on your girlfriend’s face. Although Maria tried to hide her arousal from the team and the others agents in the meeting, as you continued to rub your foot against her leg, never giving her the satisfaction of moving any higher than her knee, you knew her too well and knew all her tells: the slight hitch in her breath upon being touched, the frequent clicking of her pen, the biting and licking of her lips.
Your girlfriend was flustered, and you loved nothing more.
“Hill,” Fury’s voice caught his deputy’s attention.
“Yes, sir?” she cleared her throat, as she crossed her legs, ending your fun.
“Do you have the summary of the last two mutants HYDRA has held captive?”
“Of course, sir,” Maria quickly swiped through her tablet, pulling up the report she’d spent all last night putting together. As she handed the device over to Fury, she sent you a harsh glare.
All you could do was smirk, enjoying the effect you had on your girlfriend.
The rest of the meeting went by as any other one would, the usual discussion of upcoming missions, Tony and Steve’s bickering, and the occasional sassy snarks from Natasha.
As the meeting ended, and you were all heading out, you followed close behind your girlfriend.
“Regretting wearing the pencil skirt today?” you husked in her ear, stealing a quick peck to the crook of her neck.
“Well if someone had done the laundry this weekend,” Maria mumbled under her breath, as she tried to escape your distracting presence.
“Maybe I did it on purpose,” you let out a low chuckle before stepping closer to her. “Besides, I’m no complaining. Your ass looks phenomenal.”
Throwing her a wink, you lightly hit her behind, as you passed her through the doorway, making sure to brush up against her in all the right places.
“You’re gonna be the death of me,” she mumbled under her breath, but you were already gone. Maria could only hope she didn’t have to see you too much, if not at all, today, otherwise she’d be in a world of trouble, the tension in her body already rising.
——
Unfortunately for the deputy director, luck was not on her side. When Fury called to tell her that the agent who was supposed to train the new recruits had called in sick, Maria internally groaned, knowing this was your training time as well.
Just as she always did, she immediately found you; even in a bustling training room of dozens of agents, you would always be the first person she’d see.
As soon as she laid eyes on you, Maria felt her mouth dry. You were dressed in a skin-tight black tank top along with a pair of mid length biker shorts, the entire outfit clinging to your well-defined body. As you sparred with Natasha, beads of sweat formed on every inch of your skin, causing your muscles to glisten.
Maria couldn’t help but lick her lips, less than innocent thoughts running through her mind. As you and Natasha took a break from training, you felt a familiar gaze on you. With a devious smirk, you turned your head towards your admirer.
Staring straight into your girlfriend’s orbs, you pulled the hem of your shirt, using it to wipe the sweat off your forehead while effectively revealing your toned abdomen. Knowing Maria like you did, even from across the room, you knew she was wound up, especially after the stunt you pulled this morning.
Dropping your shirt, you threw a wink in her direction. Maria rolled her eyes but couldn’t deny the wave arousal that washed over her body.
“I swear to God,” she muttered breathily, “that woman.”
Before you could get too distracted teasing your girlfriend further, Natasha smacked you over the head. “Focus, (Y/L/N).”
“Yeah, yeah,” you grumbled. “Don’t act like you weren’t making heart eyes over at Maximoff just now.”
That earned you another smack to the head.
“Whatever,” Nat shook her head, as she tried, but to no avail, hide the blush that had crept up her face. “One more round before we have to go to intel.”
“You’re on, Romanoff,” you took one more gulp before sneaking one more glance at Maria, who had moved over to training the new agents. It was your turn to stop and admire your girlfriend. Seeing Maria in her element always got a rise out of you, especially when she was in Commander Hill mode.
“(Y/N/N),” Natasha interrupted, “any day now.”
Rolling your eyes, you pried your eyes away from Maria and got into sparring stance, making it a point to take out your pent up frustration.
——
After getting dealt a good old fashioned beating from the Black Widow, you were swept away by other duties–intel, mission reports, and the like–meaning you couldn’t visit your girlfriend till later in the afternoon.
Knocking on the door, you poked your head in her office, “Hey, Ria.”
“Hey,” Maria looked up from her paperwork, her posture softening in your presence. “What are you doing here? I thought you had that scouting mission tonight.”
“I do,” you walked over to her desk, setting down the bag of food you brought and moving behind her chair, “but I thought I’d pay my beautiful girlfriend a visit before I left.”
Bending down, you lightly kissed Maria’s neck, as you massaged her tense shoulders, earning a breathless sigh from the other woman.
“May said you didn’t each lunch today,” you mumbled into her skin and finished your sentence with a soft bite, Maria’s sigh turning into a quiet moan. You pressed a chaste kiss to her lips before standing up straight, looking at her with a raised brow. “Eat.”
“(Y/N),” Maria whined, clearly frustrated but nevertheless reached for the bag of food.
“What?” you tilted your head with faux innocence.
“You are pure evil,” she groaned, as she took a bite of the Thai noodles you’d brought her from her favorite restaurant, “but you’re forgiven because Noodies tastes so good.”
“Good, I’m glad,” you chuckled, leaning down to kiss her forehead. “I’ll see you tonight, love.”
“Be safe,” Maria called after you, her words slightly muffled by the food in her mouth.
“I will,” you looked over your shoulder with a cheeky grin. “I love you.”
“I love you, too.”
——
That night, after a painstakingly boring scouting mission, you dragged your feet up to the two bedroom Manhattan apartment you shared with Maria. As you turned the handle, you barely took one step into the room before you were immediately slammed back against the door. Instinctively, you reached for the gun strapped to your thigh, but a pair of lips smashing against yours stopped you.
Once your brain registered what was happening, you immediately kissed your girlfriend back, dropping your bag without a care and wrapping your arms around her waist. The kiss was passionate and full of heat, your tongues melting together, fighting for dominance. Pulling apart, as air became a necessity, you were both panting, as you rested your forehead against hers.
“Not that I’m complaining,” you chuckled, tucking a strand of loose hair behind Maria’s ear, “but what brought that on?”
“What?” she frowned. “I can’t welcome my girlfriend home after a long day of work?”
You raised your eyebrow, an incredulous look taking over your face.
“Fine,” Maria groaned with a huff. “You’ve been teasing me all day.”
“Ah,” you grinned, a mischievous twinkle in your eye, “so that’s what this is about?”
Maria’s patience was already worn thin and your playful manner did nothing to help you. As her expression hardened, her Commander Hill face taking over, Maria slipped her leg between your, her knee briefly brushing your core.
“Do you always find yourself in a position of teasing your superiors?” she husked, her voice an octave lower, as she lightly traced your jawline, leaving a trail of goosebumps on your skin.
“Only one,” you quipped, hooking your foot around her ankle, causing her to stumble, as you switched your positions and pinned her against the door. Kissing up her neck, you whispered into her ear, “and she seems to enjoy it.”
“Babe, I swear to God, you better stop teasing me, and–,” Maria’s breath hitched, as you bit down on her sensitive spot, soothing it over with your tongue.
“And what?” you encouraged, continuing to decorate her skin with kisses and love bites.
Grabbing you by the collar, Maria forced you to meet her piercing ocean blue eyes. “Fuck me,” she commanded.
“With pleasure.”
