Azul is like my little hamster. OMG WAIT NO A BUNNY, BC LIKE SEA BUNNY UKNOW????!?!?! HE"D BE A BUNNY FS (also cus fluffy and pudgy and cute :3) and plus i find it cute imaging Azul with bunny ears being a little sassy and having that strong commanding tone of voice hehehe. Wait but he could also pass as a hamster too.... Its okay either one works but im leaning more towards bunnies because I like bunnies more if I had to pick between the two. But imagine Azul's cheeks stuffed full like a chipmunks hehehe

I think i'd kick Floyd out too because he'd probably be a rowdy menace and mess up my furniture because he's going to be gnawing on my chair legs and table legs. Azul you are the only tame one.... for now.

Jade would probably try to get your attention and when he does he'd probably hit your vase and it shatters and you'd give him the most "are you kidding me?" look ever while he has his hand over his mouth looking at you so innocently, though a look of slight malice in his eyes. That little..... Then all of a sudden once you're done cleaning up your vase Jade comes over to cuddle with you because surely you'd forgive him right? I mean just look at how cute he is being, rubbing his cheek against yours. I'm imagining that they can turn into the animals and then poof back up into a human with their animalistic attributes. Still having the tails and ears like beastmen you know? Just like Jacks unique magic basically.

Floyd is your little energetic big dog who just loves giving you attention. When he's a dog he's just running around playing around with his toys and occasionally fighting with Jade. Azul is hopping around trying to find solace from the fights because he's so much tinier and more feeble in this form that he doesn't want to get dragged into it. I feel like when they do get into fights, thats when Azul turns back into his human form and just watches alongside with you. Yea, just watching. Pretty sure you wouldn't want to interfere with their fights either. But when Floyd turns back into his human form hes all over you! He's so heavy too its such a pain to move him >_< (heheh but i wouldn't mind) Ahem, but i feel like out of the three he makes it the most prominent that he wants your attention. Jade is more roundabout about it but when you usually are the first one to initiate then he's suddenly so attached to you. Once that is the case he's having you all to himself, no sharing until he's done monopolizing your space and time; leaving Azul and Floyd annoyed and ticked off as he gives them a smug look. Sometimes I feel like Azul would just be a bit shy to do or say anything to initiate. But until he warms up to you he'd also be quite clingy and needy, honestly so much so then Floyd and suddenly does get more bolder. Floyd, again, just makes it more clear much more often.

I feel like Cat Jade would be so sneaky at times too, like imagine trying to bathe but then suddenly out of nowhere Jade just appears. You're screaming your lungs out because how the hell did he get in when you closed the door and locked it?

"Fufufu, no need to fear. I was simply minding my time here is all."

A groan can be heard right behind Jade and up comes Azul as he rubs his ass, seeming to be in slight pain. "Argh 'minding my time' is a complete lie. To think i'd find you where I was planning on hiding as well."

"You guys were hiding?! Wha- get out!" Of course Azul would also be here too. As you tell them off they let out a disappointed and sad sigh, and as they proceed to open the door to leave Floyd bursts into the bathroom. "What! You guys snuck in the bathroom without me?!"

What a red face you have, they all wanted to see and be there with you while you bathed. So suddenly Floyd just goes on ahead and quickly undresses at the doorway and you bring the shower curtain over to hide your face. "Floyd! What are you doing!?" The sound of clothes being dropped on the floor can be heard every second until you hear quick stomps. Pulling the curtains back, Floyd quickly gets in the tub sitting behind you. "Scoot scoot hehe." A sharp gasped emits from your mouth and you feel his bare body against yours. A playful giggle escapes his lips and Jade and Azul just look at each other blankly. For only a moment though, until they look back at the both of you and Jade has a playful smirk on his face. Azul has a slight frown as he begins to undress himself. Floyd wraps his arms around your waist, pulling you in closer against him as he spoons you between his legs. You go stiff, a little squeal escaping your mouth as you go on to cover your face from how flustered you were getting. "Heyyyy you guys go bathe somewhere else. Me and shrimpy are already in the tub." Jade lets out a chuckle as he also quickly went ahead to take off his pieces of clothing.

"There's enough space for me to sit, dont hog (y/n) to yourself Floyd." Azul sharply quips, a huff escaping his lips. Clothes now being on the tile floor, you only start to wonder how long this was going to take.

"I think it's only fair if we were to join you in a little bathing session as well."

"Nah-uh, ya snuck in here without me."

"Thats because you're rather big to fit in the cabinet. Me and Jade barely fit in there in our animal forms."

Peeking out between your fingers you can see from the waist above looking at Azul and Jade as they seem to be having their own little competition on who'd get to the bath first. Their little competition was pretty funny to watch however, a little giggle ushering from your lips. Floyd lets out a little hum, content that he got the best seat in the house because he was able to hold you. Azul finished first because he was quick and swift with it, hurriedly coming over to get in. At the same time Jade quickly hurried his way over and as they make their way in the water splashes and spills over the edge. Azul sits behind Jade because Jade forced his way to sit in front of you, a groan ushered out of him as he is practically getting squished from behind.

"Why do I have to be in the back?! You're bigger than me!"

"I think (Y/n) would like that better then, it does hit all the good spots after all."

"Jade!" God they were going to be the death of you. To think Jade would say something so shameless as that. Though the situation was already not helping. Splashing water at him, he flinches back as he gets wet, though still chuckling from your reaction. Azul's brow twitches in annoyance and Jade can only let out a smug look. You let out a sigh as you bury you face in your hands. The tub was so cramped you couldn't even move, just sitting in the tub was all you four did. Though Floyd didn't seem to mind at all, especially when you're in his arms.

To retaliate against Jade though, Azul turns to a bunny and quickly hops on over in front. Pushing him back as he squeezes his way in to fit the tight cramped space, Azul turns back to lean in front of you now. "Its really cramped in here. Did you guys really think we could even properly bathe like this..."

"Of course not. I'd be flabbergasted if you really thought so."

"Hmmm, how about we wash you up instead shrimpy? More hands the better hehe~"

"Oh Floyd that sounds like a wonderful idea."

The water is never still, constantly sloshing and swaying as Azul, Jade, and Floyd continue to readjust themselves more comfortably. The yellow lighting in the bathroom gives off a vintage feeling and the temperature felt warmer than usual because of the tight space full of warm radiating bodies. The feeling of Floyds arms around you loosen up, making it easier to navigate around your body. Azul follows along suite and leans in close to you while Jade grabs hold of your hand and kisses it.

"After we have our fun of course. I'm sure our little caretaker would appreciate it if we were the ones cleaning them this time." Jades voice was low and smooth, your hand against his lips as he lightly nips at your skin.

"Mmmh yes, agreed. Wouldn't you like that dear?" The feeling of Azuls voice vibrates through the base of your neck as he kisses it tenderly, a low gasp escaping out of you as he hits a sensitive spot.

"I love how you feel Shrimpy, so warm and squishy~" Strong hands sway smoothly under the tight space like a slithering eel, making their way to the fats on your body. His sultry voice makes you shiver as you feel him slightly bow down to kiss the back of your neck, a satisfied hum escaping him.

This definitely was going to be a loooonnggg bathing session. But i'm sure you'll enjoy it. Afterall, they'll ensure to clean every dip and crevice of you to ensure you'd be thoroughly clean :) Plus the many kissing and intimate touches you'll share <333

Honestly why have one when you can have all three? They would definitely share you for sure hehehehe >:3

Just realized I don’t think I’ve like ever really dug into how I imagine the infection works with Infected/Kasper

To be fair I think it’s been pretty clear just based on my drawings, the ask blog, the uh other stuff also that I forgot

Very ice king/Simon Petrikov sort of situation (I FUCKINGN. LOVE APOCALYPSE SIMON FOR THOSE THAT WERE THERE FOR THAT HI. YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL.)

Kasper is like. A person. Like he acts like a person and is a person (crazy I know) the virus parasite whatever you wanna call it that’s what makes Infected kinda just. Weird. Like something that is vaguely similar but more like something pretending to be him on face value.

infected is a slur sayer put that boy in a cod lobby NOW!

Like ice king is kinda of a severely skewed memory of Simon, yanno? He’s his own kinda silly weird thing but there’s a few parts that’s like oh that’s Simon (😢) same sort of idea

It also kinda plays into an idea I had that Kasper just wasn’t particularly close with anyone outside of Lampert, like those two were basically siblings they literally did nothing unless the other was there, And I think it kind of works itself out, because all the others don’t really seem to care very much about infected beyond yea that’s infected and he is gross.

When kasper was infected, other people just didn’t really notice as much because again he kinda jsut acts at a very flat face value of the person that Kasper was

I don’t know if any of what I’m saying is making sense bare with me

It’s why Lampert really jsut can’t stand Infected, Infected is a bad caricature of Kasper and it’s sickening (also literally, I mean Infected is gross and snotty nasty)

I think how it went was like, Kasper gets whatever it is from the thrift store that has the infection in it (I like to think it’s the roomba, because it’s ironic and also I bought a roomba once and it was fucking full of cockroaches and it took months to get rid of them.)

It infects him and at first it’s like ah shucks sick again guess I’ll stay indoors, but then it kinda just progresses to complete isolation

Kasper may have had pretty bad anger issues but he never took it out on the people closest to him (Lampert) so.. yea

Anyway yah isolates for a while and then suddenly appears in public again, still sick but very much not the same LOL I hate that guy anyway bye im gonna spend exactly $1.28 now

so ever since i drew that lil thing of essek painting a frank stella inspired painting (or even before), ive been thinking of what kinds of art each of the m9 would do. essek ofc is inspired by a minimalist show that i went to here, all the big names from that movement were shown, but those really dark, sinkhole-like paintings are speaking to me. another artwork of boxes made of mirrors also seems like the thing he would do too

there's a kiln here that we visited which was huge, and surrounding it were artists' studios and some other ceramic sellers, i imagine the clay family having a place like this in the middle of nowhere amongst the trees, and caleb would do his work there

anyways because at heart im a shadowgast luver its centred around them,, they meet at an artist residency or something like that and its an incredibly slow burn that involves talking and not-talking and looking and not-looking. in the end i am but a simple wong kar wai fan so. that kinda vibes would definitely influence this, i would describe it as a quiet burning i guess?? time skipy and words that are not said

i think im gonna rant a bit more about their different mediums and styles so i'll keep it under the cut

i think caleb sculpts figures and portraits, but in a sad, kathe kollwitz charcoal vibe. maybe some funky looking animals, perhaps some pots and vases to look at the pretty glazes. he's interested in using fire to burn texture into different mediums, like ive seen it being used on shellac to make a really cool net of ink looking structure.. but yknow, just seeing the aftermath of glazed ceramic from the kiln is enough, and probably better for him to keep his distance anyways

the clay family produces most of the ceramic to sell, vases, pots, plates, cups, teapots, yknow just a whole array. and its really colourful too, depicting every family members different style. i think caduceus would do some matte glazes with a lot of different colours, theyre all a little wonky but theyre better off that way anyways. he does some really mean ink calligraphy and painting though

jester definitely does,, everything, whatever her heart desires kinda thang. she makes pastel textile installations and lighthearted cute paintings, but theyre always so contemplative and soothing. she gets m9 a lot of work cus her mom has connections, etc etc. i really love the idea of jester creating works that talk about the female body and femininity (definitely not projecting no)

beau is a printmaker and photographer who's really experimental, she loves cyanotypes and printing flowers (for yasha), idk she seems like she would put fabric and rocks into the washing machine to see what would happen. u would probably catch her in someone elses studio learning about what they do or in the library learning about what old people did

veth works in a museum as a curator, getting beau to help her sometimes with gathering artworks and artists etc. she probably organises community art projects for kids and public art installations. her house is full of m9's artworks and various other artists shes worked with.

yasha does bouquets as her post-retirement part time job, prior to that no one really knows what she did ("she probably murdered a bunch of people and is now hiding from the government"). fjord draws comics for fun but is also not a job for him, molly is a question mark for me. but these guys probably wont be in it as much anyways

im still not sure what format i wanna do this in, im actually having fun just writing it in my notebook now (digital does not facilitate the creative juices) but i do want to do some visuals like fake movie stills or storyboards. maybe they will work together well???? dunno. working on the other shadowgasty thing im doing made me realise how much easier it is to draw when there's a script already there, so im writing the script for myself

im definitely not as practiced in writing as i am in drawing, but idk im just gonna have some fun and see where that takes me, meanwhile try not to feel too bad that its fanart HAHA (very bad habit)

edit: i just saw my previous thoughts on beau being an art journalist, but i kinda like this better.. but maybe she can do both muah

im immediately inclined to say clocky or toby the second i see time and fire mentions. so ticciwork. my clocky is often a bit messy so she'd be pissed and angry and upset over the sort of war she's found herself in, especially as she sees toby just falling deeper into it. 'my god, was i oblivious?' when she finally realizes toby will always, always put Slenderman before her. frustrating. 'hell stays hungry for a world so weak' natalie is hungry for a good world, but she thinks everyone is too weak for goodness, meanwhile toby is hungry for power so he can make everyone else seem weak. etc. 'they only want you to bleed' they being slendy, operator, zalgo, etc etc etc... power, being a pawn, fighting, using humans as toys in a battlefield, etc etc.. yeah

i genuinely think nina is a really good influence on so many of the creeps. like theyre all assholes, traumatized, refuse to believe in the good in the world, etc etc. but nina is traumatized and still kickin. she comes in like ^_^ hello chat. and i think that, while its still important to feel the shitty feelings, it's really grounding to see someone whos just so .. able to be happy. idk. someone who SEEKS joy, rather than expects it to fall into their lap, and blames the world when it doesnt

i didnt realize we hit 1500 until just now :,)

thank you all so much, ily ily ily, i love sharing my writing with you all and im so excited for whats to come. i dont have anything special planned as a milestone celebration so instead of that i will post a section of the din series ive been planning lol

me when its time to write another enemies to lovers slow burn forced proximity din djarin fic with religious undertones ^

just uhh for context btw im not gonna post many spoilers or other teasers for this but its important to the sneak peek that yall know that reader is a cyborg in this. a good chunk of the right side of her body has been replaced with robotics so yeah and din is a real dick about it lmao. enjoy !

“I don’t travel with droids.” His voice reminds you of Boba’s when he wears that ridiculous helmet of his. Cold and hollow, more metal than man.

Boba sounds almost defensive of you when he speaks again. You can picture him leaning forward in his chair, the way he does when someone snaps at him. “She’s not a droid.”

“How much of it is even human?” You can’t help but flinch at that, no ones ever spoken about you in such a manner before. No one with a brain would disrespect someone like “Lord Fett” like that.

“She’s not an it.” Fennec speaks for the first time since all of this started, her voice is a hiss you’ve never been on the receiving end of before but you’ve heard her snarl at others before, slavers and other scum who come seeking a boon. You always wondered why such monsters would dare show their faces here, of course Boba dealt in criminal activity but never with people that foul. They often came seeking a Lord Fortuna, and were instead met with the barrel of Fennec’s rifle.

You can’t help but wonder if this “friend of Boba’s” is going to meet the same end. Both of them said they knew him well when he arrived but now they speak to him like the stranger that you know him as. A rude stranger.

The silence that follows is long, you can’t help but wonder if Fennec really did draw her weapon, before you can bring yourself to sneak a look around the corner you hear the all too familiar throat clearing noise that Boba makes before coming to a verdict.

“Look, either she watches the kid here, or she watches the kid with you. Either way she’s going to be involved, you just need to decide if you want to be there to keep an eye on her.” He always says everything with an air of finality, no wonder no one ever debates his decisions. The stranger barely has a chance to sigh before Boba continues. “No one trustworthy on Tatooine is going to take a babysitting gig for what you’re willing to pay.”

“I can’t afford anything more.” He’s furious. Even through the voice modulator you can hear that he’s trying not to lose his cool, but there’s an edge of desperation hiding under his anger.

“She’ll work for free. I’ll even cover her expenses.” You know Boba would do anything for you but this just seems like a bit much. He’s negotiating as if this man didn’t come to him asking for help.

“You want to get rid of her that badly?” Ouch. Rude and presumptuous.

“The last thing I want to do is lose her. That’s why I’m sending her with you.” You don’t doubt that. He’s proven to you enough how much you mean to him, even when he had no reason to.

“Sounds like you’ve made the decision for me.” Sounds like he made the decision for you as well. Has he even considered that you don’t want to go with him? Your desire to see the galaxy is fizzling out the more you think about having to travel with someone who doesn’t even see you as a person.

Another beat of that silence, dripping with tension before Boba takes control of the conversation once more. “She can’t stay here forever. I promised her she’d get to see someplace other than this dusty floating rock. They need me here. They need Fennec here. There aren’t many I would trust to do this but I know she’ll be safest with you. So take her or don’t, but you aren’t going to find anyone else to watch the kid for what you’re offering.”

“Find someone else.”

“There isn’t anyone else.” His patience is wearing thin. You know him well enough to know that he’s likely to snap soon. “You’re not the only one who’s trying to keep their family safe.” The authority in his tone reminds you of the exact reason no one ever argues with Boba.

Not even rude strangers who come bearing absurd demands and who claim to be friends.

“Fine.”

okay! thank you for enabling me. disclaimer im not a Depression Expert i pretty much only know what i go through myself. have fun

ok so roomy isnt a contestant but i do wanna talk about her. i feel like the whole thing with her literally being the room can be compared to something like a kid with depression not leaving their room and just living within a tight window of reality, only ever speaking to their parents and stuff. i feel like roomy can be related to that as she literally can’t leave. like executive dysfunction the character. also her personality, only caring about being nice and not hurting others, and by doing that not letting anyone know who she really is or how she really feels

okay onto the contestants now. rosey is a very interesting character, what draws me in about her the most is her almost refusal to appear vulnerable or overwhelmed by anything, always needing a guaranteed way to do something so she knows it’ll work. this can be seen as somebody with depression relying on things in their life that they know off by heart, things like routines and rituals they perform daily, having something to fall back on and feel some normalcy through. again she’s very similar to roomy with the whole social butterfly thing

spraypaint is tricky because we’ve basically only ever seen her be like Ahh im gonna kill you be scared. but i do think she has a reason to constantly be like that towards people. nobody is ever aggressive because they like it i dont think anyone likes being on guard 24/7. i feel like she relies on her knife alot, for example in the scene where she argues with playdoh after they run into eachother, she tries to just kill him right there instead of bothering to interact with him once she gets bored of him and decides he has nothing to say that she wants to hear (based but only because it’s playdoh)

kit seems to be very self confident unlike the majority of the other characters, but for the entire time, others have kind of decided what kit is like in their heads and settled on it, based off how she appears. that being limey seeing how relaxed and inexpressive she is and that making him think that she doesn’t care about things around her. with depression it can be easy to get tired of some things, but people then assume you don’t care about anything, and that you’re just apathetic, and/or constantly thinking you’re sad when like. thats just how you look Lol. that’s what kit and how she’s treated reminds me of

speaking of limey. he’s pretty similar to spraypaint, except he’s much more sensitive, or at least outwardly. it doesn’t take much for him to feel overwhelmed and like everybody is out to get him, and he’s always trying to counter this feeling by insisting to both others and himself that he has something up his sleeve that’ll make everyone regret thinking badly of him. he’s just a very defensive character and who can blame him. oh also hes very clearly hyperfixated on the idea of being a cartoony super villain or something. it’s a part of his identity he relies ALOT on, always falling into it especially when he feels threatened

pilly is very organised and on top of everyone else, and his only fault ive noticed is his detachment. he says to record outright that he doesn’t need or want friends, and purposely blends in to make sure he isn’t noticed and nobody tries to connect with him. i think this can be 2 different things; either he just straight up doesn’t like other people and finds them draining and just another hassle, or he really would like a friend but would rather not reach out from fear of being rejected. i think it’s the first one but you can never know

peanut is another character who’s very isolated except for him it’s nobody’s fault or deliberate choice really. we’ve seen that he lives in the middle of the country out on a farm, either living on his own or with his close family. my personal idea of him involves the second one and that also fits in with this. one of peanut’s very first lines is that he doesn’t care about what happens to him and is mostly focused on doing things for others’ sake. hes seen to be used to doing the dirty work for people and to be happy with it being like this. i think peanut relies on being a helping hand since well. that’s all he really knows how to do, and how to be wanted by others

to say polaroid is overshadowed by the other characters is an understatement both in the show and outside. like i think he’s the character with the least fanart, even including the one-time cameo dudes. its a shame because he’s SO good. his most noticeable trait first up is that he can’t speak verbally, and for others to acknowledge his words they have to put effort in which. unfortunately alot of people dont. like this hes ignored easily and often, being talked over, people dragging him around and ordering him to do things without listening to what he thinks first. but despite this hes so caring, seen with him encouraging pilly even after he threatened him with elimination (have i ever mentioned i love those two’s relationship so much) and comforting roomy and going with her to help with her fears

record is like. id say one of the most depression coded objects ever. she’s shy but not the stereotypical shy archetype, questioning people’s orders and sometimes even getting frustrated with others. she’s shown to have trouble explaining herself to others, feeling like she needs to in order to be forgiven for well. Literally just standing there. not much i can say about her that hasn’t been said /agreed on already

onto hanger my favourite… hanger is again, talked over by basically everyone. she rarely has the opportunity to ‘prove herself’ to others and when she does, the credit is taken away from her and it doesn’t matter how much she yells and argues, she can never be listened to. when this happens to someone it can easily feel like nothing you do will ever work and it’s just hopeless to even think of doing anything right or impressing anybody. i wouldn’t say hanger feels like that since we’ve seen that she’s very strong willed, but that’s just the thing. she HAS to stop herself from feeling that way because nobody else will, she has nobody else to rely on.

except erasey

erasey is similar to kit with the whole under expressive thing, as well as it being seen that they kind of struggle with motivation. they seem to have a kind of omnipotence that makes it so that they know what to do and how to do it, and if it’s even worth it to try. but apart from that they don’t do much else, that’s all that’s important to them. they only try to do what they absolutely need to

RED GUY X MALE! READER

(YES IM KINDA HYPERFIXATED ON DHMIS shut it /j)

(I also hc that due to their little.. situation-- the crew kind of doesn't have a firm concept of what romantic love truly is.)

(And please note this is the first time I wrote a fic for DHMIS. I tried to capture Red as good as i could, so please be easy with me if I got him out of character at some parts. Thats just how I think he'd be showing affection.)

In this silly little world, of silly little things; Y/N and his friends were having fun, playing loads of games and playing with strings.

Then the power went out, and gosh, oh no! Y/N was left to sit with Red Guy all alone.

The Duck and Yellow went out to go find whatever source of power they could use for a compromise, while Y/N and Red waited together in company.

The two friends were left together, coveted in the dark, making sure they were close but apart.

Y/N held his knees against his chest, and took a long breath. "You, um.. think anyone'll come by while were alone? Like those.. teachers, or whatever." Asked Y/N, looking up at the tentacle covered man.

"Well, you never really know, do you?" Replied Red, readjusting his position. "I.. I guess not?" Replied Y/N, averting his gaze from his red friend beside him. He out a slightly terrified groan as he looked down at the ground.

"Hey.. on the bright side, at least you won't be alone if one does come along." Red said, in an attempt to cheer Y/N up from his rather depressed look. He didn't want to seem as if he held no empathy for the shorter/taller man.

Y/N widened his eyes, slightly looking up. "Well, yeah.. I know.. i'm just worried about what they're gonna do to me.. or any of you by chance."

"Dont worry too much, besides.. unfortunately, I'll be here."

Y/N looked further at the now averted gaze of his red friend, and softly smiled at the little nervous twinkle in his eyes. "Heh.. I guess I'm grateful then. Thank you.."

A moment of silence passed the two friends, as the shadows still surrounded them, an empty void all around them and tangling them up. Y/N looked down at his lap, and then his hand. He was shaking. Yet he couldn't seem to understand why. Usually he was never this afraid of the dark.

"So, um.. when are you all gonna kick me out?"

"What?"

Red turned to look at Y/N, raising his eyebrow as if he didn't know what he(Y/N) meant by that. Y/N only looked down at his lap again, and his lips quivered as his hands shivered from the sheer embarrassment of asking that question washed over him like a big tidal wave.

"Well.. since you all.. don't seem to like me much, um.. I figured you were.. um.. all gonna kick me out."

...

A second of silence passed, and then Red spoke up.

"Well, we aren't ever gonna kick you out."

"R.. Really?.."

"Yes.. and i.. I don't believe we hate you either. As.. as a matter of fact, I suppose.."

He couldn't help but notice what appeared to be a faint pink form on his "cheeks".

"..I like.. I like your presence. I like.. I like looking at you. I like seeing you everyday. I like hearing you everyday. It's a shame, but.. there's a lot to like about you."

"Wha.. really? Um.. sorry for repeating that again, but, um.. wow. I didnt-- I didn't think you did.. erm.. sorry for interpreting it wrong, my fault."

"No, stop apologizing. You already do that enough.."

"Oh, um, sorr-- oh wait.. nevermind."

The two sat in silence again, for about a good few minutes. Y/N kept finding himself drawing his attention to Red no matter how hard he tried not to look at him. He, for some reason, was like a radiant sun to him. And he was the ocean below.

Y/N sighed. And did something to compensate for what he was feeling.

He then quickly scooted closer to Red. Red slightly glared down at Y/N, and only raised an invisible eyebrow at his sudden movement. He stared down at him like a telescope staring at a star intensely.

"Why'd you move closer?"

"I dunno.. uh.. I guess you-- you make me feel a bit safer. I-- I can move away if you want--"

"No. Dont."

"O-- Okay.."

A minute of silence passed. Y/N couldn't help but feel a gaze every now and then staring upon him, to the point where he sort of began to feel creeped out. He tucked in his knees again, and slightly whimpered.

It was a bit annoying for him to be like this. He wasn't as tough as the others, he was a little too soft in fact. He knew he should have gotten used to the world around him by now, but for some reason unlike the others, he just.. couldn't.

"Hey."

Y/N flinched curiously at Red randomly speaking at him.

"Look at me."

Y/N felt.. uncertain by this sudden request, but he felt it would be impolite to refuse, so he obliged and stared into the soulless eyes of the one whom requested of him do so. He felt his face warm up a bit.

The way Red was looking at him felt a bit different this time; usually his eyes would be devoid of all emotion and filled with endless sarcasm, yet he could seem to see an emotion he hadn't ever quite seen inside those black eyes of his before.

Red raised his hand, and Y/N slightly lowered his body, not having a clue as to what he could have possibly been about to do. He then felt the hand land on the top of his head, but in a soft manner. And then.. it.. began to rub. Gently.

He felt it go through the tendrils and seperate parts of his hair gently. He had to admit, it did feel a bit.. nice. Yet a tingly sensation ached in his heart; what was with this all the sudden?

"Um.. what are you doing?"

"...I don't know."

Silence.

"Do you want me to stop?"

"No-- no.. keep going.. if you want."

He kept rubbing his hand along his hair, then slowly moved his hand to his face. Gently, he caressed his cheek while still staring at him with a longing glitter of emotions sparkled all across. He didn't know why, but he could have sworn he saw a big blush spread across his cheeks, even in the depths of darkness.

"What-- are you doing this for?" Y/N asked, staring at him.

"...I think i like touching you."

"Oh.. uh.. okay?"

He nervously laughed, as Red then moved his arms foward. He then felt his hand go in circular motions around his back, and he tensed, but his body relieved after a second. It felt calming.. but he still couldn't understand why Red was doing this.

After a while.. he felt himself be pulled closer by of course, Reds arms. He was embracing him now, great. But he couldn't deny it, a little embarrassing as it was, it was a comforting gesture. Reds hand went to his back again, and it rubbed in a circular motion.

As for Reds head, it gently lay atop Y/Ns head, as he left his eyes closed in the softness of the moment. Y/N couldn't help but lay his head on his shoulder.

"I don't think I've ever been this close to someone before."

"Is that why your doing this?"

"...a little, maybe."

...

"When.. when the power comes back on, you.. you wanna stay like this?"

"..yes, at least until they're back."

He didn't know why, but even in this moment, you felt as if something horrible was going to happen to him. But he didn't mind. He liked being close with Red. And Red liked being close with him.

He.. he liked Red.

I started playing basketball when I was about 10, but I haven't played since I was about 17? Not for any particular reason, I just haven't found anywhere I can play at (haven't looked much either LOL) this is making me wanna look into it again though :,D

Briefly played softball for about a year in high school, it was fun! I also enjoy cycling but I dont do that a whole lot. Did a bit of boxing during the singular year I had a gym membership, and learnt that I hate arm exercises with a passion but I love getting to kick things :D I'm also a freak, a weirdo even, who likes running hahaha

This is making me sound fit but unfortunately I spend 90% of my free time drawing fictional men so I don't do a whole lot of sport... ever......

Drawing, shockingly, is the main one, but I also enjoy animation and clay sculpting! I recently got into plush making, I really wanna learn how to sew properly so I can make Belphie's big human world outfit jacket for myself lol

I needle felt and crochet sometimes but those are really time consuming and take forever so Im never patient enough to pick them up for long lol

At this stage I would also consider my general zine shenanigans to be a hobby too, I can't get enough of these silly things

Okay I'm gonna talk about them fr now so meet Pepper and Chilli <3333

This is Pepper, shes my darling little angel who could do no wrong, she's graceful and beautiful and way too smart for her own good and I love her so much <333

And this is Pepper's son, Chilli, whom you could never tell was her son if you weren't told cause he's nothing like her. He's very clumsy and not very smart but he's very cute and handsome so it makes up for it and I love him very much too <33

Like 176 cm? Which I think is around 5'9 or so?

If we ignore art LOL I enjoyed english quite a bit! I know apparently the big draw of math is that there's only ever 1 answer but I'm not a logic brained person so I don't like that very much. I'm a certified bullshitter, I like being able to say whatever I want as long as I can justify it

15 - Dream job?

To draw anime boys all day...

If I was to be realistic though I think a job where I can use art and be creative but in a way that doesn't take the fun out of regular art would be ideal? I don't know what that looks like though

i love morally gray langue de chat okay hear me out. (ramble incoming)

ive been talking about how contradictory this event was FOREVER and like at first i was just like Man this is bad writing but now im . I still think the same thing i doubt they were trying to make langue this way but i think they should be a little fucked up as a treat

remember how they used some of rogueforts earlier crimes to prove they hadnt stolen the statue?

but then they said this?

i dont know Perhaps im just an idiot and my only knowledge of law is ace attorney but that doesnt add up to me. How were they going to prove roguefort innocent of every crime they were being charged for when they presented some of their crimes as evidence??? also how was that morally correct, arguing someone you know is a criminal is innocent? and like. This wasnt them just them saying theyd lower rogueforts sentence. if they were to prove roguefort innocent of a SINGLE crime (the statue) how would that do anything to their 200 million year sentence??? theyd still be in jail for the rest of their life lol. it didnt really matter in the end because roguefort just up and dipped but that doesnt change how odd it all was

so no. langue de chat didnt just want to defend roguefort for the statue incident - they were planning on defending everything.

and as i mentioned before, they already used some of rogueforts crimes AS EVIDENCE. theyd probably have to do a bit of silly word tricks (lying) to make that seem possible !!!

this one scene where they say theyre not gonna resort to bribes and say theyre gonna be righteous and shit kind of Fucks everything up but. yknow. i like to imagine they just want to rely on their argument skills - they dont want to bribe people, thats cheating. Lying though? Thats a skill. thats impressive. anyone can bribe, but only a skilled lawyer would be able to lie in court and get away with it . a very not-so-righteous lawyer.

in my brain they simply take cases that would make them the most popular. Like

This is the only line even HINTING at them actually caring about if their clients are truly innocent or not though. all they talk about is wanting to be Popular and wanting to be The Best (which would come with being popular). they want to be famous thats their whole motive i love you you little motherfucker im gonna shove them down an elevator shaft (affectionate). By contrast there are so many lines from cappuccino talking about justice (though to be fair his morals are also clearly a little fucked. that sentence she gave roguefort????)

i also like how this hc contrasts with cappuccino,,, cappu will put Anyone in jail (probably. we've only ever seen her with roguefort) meanwhile langue will keep anyone out of jail if they think itll boost their reputation

of course none of this is canon, i doubt devsisters intentionally wrote them like this (esp since theyre supposed to be righteous) and also this could all be explained with The cookie run legal system is Super Duper Fucked Up. which is still true because of the ridiculous sentence cappu gave and how he was just allowed to add to it for something that wasnt even morally wrong let alone illegal of roguefort but . i just think its neat. morally gray langue is real To Me

This one in particular irrevocably changed me as a teen, and is one story that I continue to draw inspiration upon when I create dark!AUs for my SI/OCs.

#9: Zutopia by itslivybear (ao3) || the fluff, the worldbuilding, an AU where Izuku is mentored by our beloved Rat God & together, they fix the world problems? GIRLIES catch me forever LOVING this concept like you could NEVER believe <3

#7: Hold my Soul by connyhascontrol (ao3) || I got into Trixie/Katya completely by one @montaguehphm introducing me to UNHhhh (HIIIIIII bestie I hope everything is going good and that ur gay keeps slay <3) and I haven't recovered ever since— reading the fics by writers on AO3 was a happy little accident, but one i will FOREVER love, nonetheless. Anyway, this particular fic was SO brilliantly original and YET so entrenched in the personalities between T&K that it ABSOLUTELY just wrecks me everytime I reread it. anyways hi @connyhascontrol pls know ur brilliant <3

#6: I think I'm gonna call him out by hellelf (ao3, users only) || again, another AU for Hermione fic, that's chockfull of world building and interesting relationships! It's been unupdated from its 5 chapters since 2021, but I still LOVE to look back at it from time to time 💖

#5: The Confectionary Chronicles series by cheshire_caroll (ao3); Into the Black series by angelholme (ao3); Hermione Granger & the Serpent's Renaissance series by epsi1on (ao3) AND New Blood by artemisgirl (ff.net) || if it's not evident, i am an absolute slut for fics ft. Hermione being badass & put into a v cool plot w/ insane amounts of world building, so yeah, def a top 5 most contender <3

#4: The Infinitely Curious Woman by chararii (ao3) || literally ALL of their fics are absolute bangers, and while I forever mourn their decision to stop all Naruto fics thanks to the great harddrive incident of 2022, I have nonetheless the GREATEST respect to their skill & talent to bring SUCH LIFE to their stories. In particular, I chose this particular fic of theirs because the premise of Sakura making her own way by shedding off her morality the more she learned & got influenced by her 2 greatest teachers was absolutely nothing short of DIVINE. It was and IS such an inspiration to read, reread & explore, and I will forever love @chararii for this brilliant piece of a fic

#3: The Endgame that never was series by @heleneplays aka me (tumblr masterlist) || ok I know this seems self-absorbed but DEAR MOTHER OF CHRISTIE i literally WENT OFF for a whole ass day and a half going feral for the Relics of the Lost Age series book 3 finale (hi @jamesshawgames pls know im still here and STILL simping even tho i am currently having a brainrot for a different thing on main sjdhdkdk i hope ur doing well dearest mr. chief author sir!!!!) and created this series from my dreams + nonstop ben&ben playlist— and honestly, I think it's VERY sexy of me <3 bc I rarely like things that I do after a while, but THIS— alongside Universal Constant (ao3) are truly my BEST work <3

ahhh the jhumka post was so cute, i couldn't even study properly bc i've been giggling over it the whole day 😭😭 like omg having them search for their name in ur mehendi, teaching them bollywood dance moves, re-watching classics like DDLG, having pani-puri competitions, having matching kurtas, saying the most cheesiest lines to them in ur mother tongue bc ur just too shy ahhhhhhh this brain-rot is going to kill me

your 🤭 brain 🤭 is so 🤭 smart 🤭 i will eat you (with love) 🤞🤞🤞🤞 this was so fun to think about and write about !!!!!!! aaa i love you anon !!!

anyway, warning: lots of messy thoughts about this under the cut !!

✿⁠ ➝ it's actually so easy for you to put sae's or rin's name in your mehendi, like usually i've heard people put in initials but honestly putting their entire name in is so easy and when you do it, your mehendi wali didi who's drawing his name in will definitely smirk at you like "kaun hai ye, hmmm?" [translation: who is this, hmmm?]

and when you finally do it and ask sae to find it (you didn't say his name was in ur mehendi, but just told him that there's a surprise thing he should try and find) he'll be so confused— but at the same time he finds this very interesting so he'll just take your hands and let his eyes wander over your palms with a blank expression. it takes him a few minutes because the way it's written is so small, but when he does find it, he's gonna give you the most incredulous look ever followed by a light shrug to play off the fact that his heart is beating really fast !!! ♡

"cute. i don't get why you did that, though."

"because i love you, sae." you huffed, rolling your eyes. "maybe i should replace it with somebody else's name if you don't get why i—"

"don't be stupid," he cuts you off with his low voice, before kissing the exact same spot on your palm where his name is as you caress his cheek right after. "only my name."

same goes for rin, except he's so much more flustered than his brother is !!!! the poor boy will take quite a lot of time to find the "surprise" you were talking about, because obviously he knows nothing about mehendi and you really just told him to go in blind— you'd have to show him yourself. when you do, he'll kinda go stiff at first as he reads the three letters of his name, and then look up at you with this adorable expression that makes your heart race.

"....that's my name." he says, a confused yet surprised tone to his voice as he looks at you with slightly wide eyes.

"yup," you giggle, continuing to point at the tiny writing on your palm as you stare at him with loving eyes. he bites his lower lip gently, running his fingertip over the skin. "people usually hide their lover's name in their mehendi and i wanted to do it with yours." you explain softly.

his reaction is too cute. the way he can't find anything to say in response to this is enough to satisfy you and make you feel happy. "i like that. does it, like, stay forever?"

"no, baby." you laugh. "mehendi goes away in days. it depends."

"oh, okay," he nods. "makes sense, but i kinda want it to stay there forever. can you get it done again or something?" his eyes shine with admiration as he asks with a slightly smug expression. he likes the idea of his name on your skin a little too much, it seems.

✿⁠ ➝ also, teaching reo bollywood dance moves ?!? yes. he surprisingly has— makes time for it. he's all in. will definitely be a tease about it, though— especially when you're teaching him how to 'thumka' jsnshdbsjd im blushing like hell rn. he will definitely stare at you with some type of look when you do it— and he might even feel tempted to just hold your waist as you show him the move. (he probably gives in to the temptation very quickly, reo can't really control his hands that well).

"damn, i didn't know you were that good with your hips—"

"reo!"

(kinda gives me easily annoyed gf and chill bf vibes) has the guy give you a sukhi puri before you can even ask !!!!!!! ⁠♡ and if you want to go eat golas right after, he's all for it !!!! you have to guide him w the flavours though, telling him like "ok we hate this flavor but this other flavor is our bestie." and he's gonna nod and try whichever one you like the most. (my bestie is kala khatta HEHE)

✿⁠ ➝ ALSO DHWNJDSKKDMF i would DEFINITELY say some things to sae in hindi. because i am shy, and also because he's so fucking intimidating that honestly i don't want to compliment him to his face. whatever you say, he'll be like "what?" because obviously he doesn't understand and after a while as you continue to speak to him and compliment him in hindi with your shy smile, he gets super super super irritated because he can't understand and he wants to know what you're saying about him so bad. he wants to hear your compliments. your voice is so sweet and soft and the way you look at him as you talk in your language makes him feel things— he wants to know !!! he would remember some words and search them up later to piece it together (but instead of making the guy do so much work, just translate, pls) when he finally gets to know some of the things you said to him in hindi, he'll have to look away to stop himself from kissing you ♡

despite loving MTL & dethklok & brendon small's work in general i am sometimes pretty critical of the show so . especially with it's treatment (and lack thereof) of black/brown & female characters. i do still love the show but it does sometimes annoy me. the way i engage with most media is through analysis and critique, if that makes you uncomfortable then you don't have to hang out, it's ok

general DNI - bigots of course, as well as any pro ship people, these are instant blocks. im really just here to have fun, i'm not here to make waves or anything. of course since there are a lot of crossovers in different adult swim fandoms, DNI if you like south park

if you hate Abigail DNI. i can understand hating how she's written, i also hate how she's written and the fact that she was basically only a learning tool for nathan/only used to cause drama between him and pickles. i will always declare this as a misogynistic writing trope (because it is) and her character got done really dirty (because she did) and ill drum up a big fuss about it every chance i get lol. i can also understand disliking her character, it's whatever, she's not for everyone, especially considering how bland she ended up. but if you hate her and constantly trash her like it's her fault she got written badly, i won't engage with you. Brendon truly fucked me up giving fandom misogynists and fujoshis a black woman for fodder

i headcanon Nathan as being Miccosukee & pickles as being trans. these are really the only constant & recurring headcanons i have, otherwise im open to a bunch of stuff

the only constant romantic ship i have is Nickles, they are truly It for me. as far as the rest of the band goes, i prefer a family dynamic for them. you won't really find any romantic Skwistok, Skwisface, Murdertooth, or any other ships with Nathan or Pickles here. that being said, if you ship all of them or mix n match them up that's okay 👍👍👍👍

nathan fictive (fiction kin? other hearted? i don't know the difference, he's the only character ive ever "kinned")👍 i originally wasn't going to say anything but everyone seems to be pretty open here so (cartoon slide whistle noise). you can also just call me Nate or Nathan, that's okay 👍

so im genuinely at a block so I'm gonna post my old neurodivergent thoughts onto one post.

DISCLAIMER: all the names presented in this are real.

… accidentally having an over-obsession with a special interest. okay… i sometimes consider mrs. tavernise a special interest :D because she understands me, i can confide in her, etc. i also have taken a decent number of her FGF recommendations and one of them being ruta sepetys i must betray you. in the middle of class, she was handing out these packets we’re making for mockingbird and she whispered to me, “when you leave class, look at the one-school one-book poster on my door.” and i understood the assignment. i looked, and because i was next to clover, i said, “omg!! no way. i can’t believe it!” i was ecstatic with joy. … finding a special interest is more fun than what’s actually happening around me. i was so bored in english that i started drawing some nice little sketches on my to kill a mockingbird worksheet. and it was fun. i wasn’t looking up to take any notes from her papers, i wasn’t myself. and i guess she realized that really quick, because i normally ALWAYS pay attention to her but i was feeling lazy and became clover. clover normally draws AND pays attention AND takes notes. i felt stupid. anyways she came up to me because it was evident that something happened. i was disappointed in my essay grade so it’s implied. anyway, she said, “make sure you get the notes from someone, okay?” like NO now that you told me I will NOT get the notes (in protest!!).

…forgetting not everyone is passionate about your special interest. i was drawing on my to kill a mockingbird essay packet and i drew a picture of mrs. tavernise in her black dress for like thirty minutes. at the end of the period i took a picture of it and showed it to her, expecting her to like it. she told me i had to start paying more attention, and i later asked her how to pay attention, and she said, stop drawing. don’t worry, I later resolved this conflict. i got an 88 on the essay! i’m so awesome :)

… doing something that is not stated in the directions & redirection

i haven’t had to be redirected to drawing during class in a good couple of days or weeks. i love drawing, it’s a passion i semi-enjoy, and we were analyzing quotes in groups. so of course i assume i’m working with clover because so far preferred groups seem to be working. i hear clover’s name and get excited to listen for mine, but for some reason, she paired clover up with their respective partners in the same seating vicinity. i didn’t really care, so for our first part: quiet analysis, i start just casually drawing a speech bubble around the quote but rudely interrupted by mrs. tavernise’s pointer finger pointing to the quote. normally if i just draw i can get away with it, and i thought today was going to be one of those days. however, because mrs. tavernise is making us do a follow-up project; similar to the kill a mockingbird essay, she’s trying to make sure everyone’s on track. even the most neurodiverse of us.

luckily, liyana khan is my fav. she had two extra donuts and came outside my english class to give me half a donut.

she did have to talk to my english teacher -- kinda weird -- because i’d completely forgotten liyana’d promised me a half and mrs. tavernise gave no context whatsoever, except that whoever was outside needed me for 2 minutes. i had my donut and bumped into ms. moss. PERFECT TIMING, much? i told mrs. moss to come into my english class and help me with this because i couldn’t understand the quote, part of the reason i was drawing. she helped 10x a lot, and obviously mrs. tavernise seemed to be death-glancing me weirdly. i tried my hardest after that to avoid all eye contact with her.

tysm for brightening my day liyana & mrs. moss!! :D

..and mrs. tavernise… don’t ever put me with boys EVER AGAIN.

Been having a weird time waking up (small panic attack and body aches) while my brain is bombarding me with fic ideas (if it wants them so badly then it should LET ME WRITE THEM TO COMPLETION AND PUBLISHING but i digress)

Including a drawfee moment inspired one that im tapping the general idea out here bc it might not ever make it to the page otherwise and it keeps rattling in my head and has been for over a month so

We're in s2. But different. Slightly, at least. Stede's still brought Ed back onboard after barely a day of him being gone (if that), and suggestions are flying for how to help everyone feel more comfortable together.

Including, at Stede's insistence, Drawing Lessons with Lucius.

It's very clear, as he directs them in their sketching, that they're drawing something that has Ed's head/face, like the rest of Lucius' current sketches, but perhaps the best/worst of the entire situation

Is Ed, in his punishment suit and bell, at the end of the table, attempting to sketch. Not doing badly at all, actually. Which is both fine and not fine for poor Lucius, who just really wishes he wasn't this close to Ed physically at all rn

And it builds and builds until he's jumping any time anyone so much as clears their throat, and then.

Ed shows confusion at the next instruction. It's slightly unusual, or seems that way at least, for the current drawing.

Cut to Lucius leaning down to Ed, and directly in his ear asking, hissing with barely held back frustration over ALL OF IT because fucking christ he TOLD Stede he wasn't ready for something like this let alone also involving Ed:

"Do you know what a rectangle is?!"

Idk what else to pad this idea with to attempt to make it a full fic, bc it feels like the next thing to happen is gonna be Ed and Lucius tackling each other and not in a sexy fun way

but I do absolutely have the next bit present in my head of like. Archie gently saying she does know what a rectangle is, but if anyone else is having trouble that's okay, maybe they can all share their progress while they wait for Teacher (Lucius) to be ready again; she's trying so hard to help hold the vibe together, showing off her lovely sketch in progress while Ed and Lucius tumble in the background (they're not really fighting, just sort of grappling. They don't actually want to hurt one another, but they're also not getting the Emotions out any other way so. Awkward slightly threatening grapple with each other while Stede lets Archie take over the sketching session, "you guys wanna draw a snake with Ed's face? I can teach you that, and it doesn't even involve any rectangles!" and a cheer goes up from them all.)

Dear Princess, Writing to you from my hotel room, the electricity went out so of course I’m using that mini lantern that you got me for Christmas. I know I laughed when you gave it to me but it’s actually very useful considering I wanna save my phone battery. I can hear you now, babe every cowboy needs a lantern. It’s like a rule. Well my sweet it seems you’re right.

The storm is crazy. I didn’t even know we were supposed to get rain, I had just finished charging my phone when it went out. So thankfully I have a full battery. Thank god I already got a shower I imagine it would be hard with this small light. It’s enough to write by but not nearly enough to shower. Still haven’t tried going to the bathroom yet. I’ll let you know how that goes later.

Did I tell you how much I miss you? Not since this morning when I called you so I’ll tell you now. I miss you, the bed is so lonely! Nick and Matt wouldn’t even coincider a sleepover after you threatened them for trying to steal your spot. I still love you tho don’t ever forget that.

Can you believe our anniversary is already coming up? I’m going to spoil you rotten take off a whole week so we can spend it together. I want you to come on the road with me for a time too. We’ll have a blast and make loads of memories together.

I can’t wait to see you baby. It sucks not having you around all the time. But I know we’ll be together again very quickly and that makes it bearable.

Is that a magnet in your pants pocket? Cause that ass is drawing me in.

You gotta admit that was a good one. It gave me a good chuckle just now. I’ve got many more to use on you when we’re together again so be ready.
