Osamu Dazai

🩹 Dazai was secretly possessive, in a way that everyone except you could see. He very rarely let you go anywhere on your own. 🩹 I’m pretty sure that he slipped a tracker and listening device in your jacket so that he knew where you were at all times and could hear if you were ever in trouble. 🩹 His version of trouble and yours were very different so expect him to show up at the most inopportune times. You were often left cleaning up after him when he ruins something or causes trouble, 🩹 Your inability to realise when someone was flirting with you was the real problem here because when it came down to it that was the problem.

You don’t even know when he got there, you had been trying to find something for lunch when a guy walked over to you “Are you looking for somewhere to eat?” He asked. “Oh yeah, I’m trying to decide what to have for lunch.” You answered with a soft smile. “I know a good place to eat if you're looking to try something new. I can take you there.” He suggested. “Oh that kind-” “She really doesn’t need your help.” Dazai’s voice sounded behind you and you looked at him and frowned looking behind you. “He was just going to show me somewhere to get lunch Dazai.” You mumbled. “He wants more than lunch.” Dazai muttered. “Woah.” The guy lifted his hands as he looked at you. “Is this guy your brother or something?” “He’s actually my boyfriend, do you mind if he comes along?” You asked. “Oh uhh, you know I’ll just give you directions.” He said as Dazai smirked behind you, if anyone knew him before the ADA they would have thought that he had rejoined the mafia with the look he was giving this man. The rushed instructions that he gave you were quickly forgotten as Dazai draped himself over you. “Are you really going to go to that place he told you about!” Dazai whined. “Would it make you feel better if I say no?” You asked. “Yes.” He answered. “Fine then I won’t go. I don’t understand why it means so much to you but there you go.” You shrugged as you pulled him towards a cafe to get something to eat. Dazai watched you walk and smiled while your obliviousness bothered him. He never wanted you to change, he wanted to keep you this way until the end of your days.

Chuya Nakahara

🍷 Chuya’s always been volatile, anyone could have told you that but he became more so when he started dating you, male members were genuinely afraid of talking to you and other executives had taken to just sending a female operative to speak to you instead. 🍷 Trust literally no one because he worries that you’ll realise that they are better than him (Dazai never helped with that considering his teasing or Chuya’s physical attributes and personality.) 🍷 Chuya was always there in some capacity, so it was rare that anyone flirted with you but it happened sometimes. 🍷 This guy must have had a death wish because he could see Chuya, he could feel Chuya glaring at him.

You were out looking for a new pair of gloves, you had managed to completely ruin your old ones on your most recent mission “what do you think, fingers or no fingers?” You asked as you held up one hand with the leather fingerless gloves and the other with a normal set of gloves. Chuya looked at you. “Does that matter?” He asked. “Come on answer!” You whined and he rolled his eyes. “I think the fingerless ones look great on you.” A guy called over, you looked over at him and he smiled. “Really?” You asked, holding your hand in front of you. “Mmm.” He hummed “I can show you some other stuff that goes well with them.” “Like hell you can.” Chuya grumbled as he reached out, grabbing your hand and stopping you from walking towards the man. “What’s wrong?” You asked. “What do you mena what’s wrong?” Chuya asked. “He’s flirting with you.” “Are you flirting with me?” You asked. “Do you want me to be?” The guy asked and you looked at him tilting your head to the side. “He’s my boyfriend.” You mumbled pointing at Chuya who was glaring at the man before you even realised what happened. Chuya delivered a hard punch to the guy's face, he recoiled and disappeared holding his bleeding nose. “You didn’t need to do that.” “I did.” He argued “get the other gloves.” “Why?” You asked. “They match mine.” He answered, you couldn’t see his face but you were sure that he was blushing, you discarded the fingerless glove and picked up the other glove to make a pair before heading over to the cash register to pay, while Chuya followed after like a guard Chihuahua until you left.

Atsushi Nakajima

🐅 Atsushi honestly doesn’t believe that he deserves you, so when people start flirting two things happen, he gets worried and then he gets angry. 🐅 He never outwardly tries to stop anything from happening, he wants to trust that you are going to come back to him and you always do. 🐅 He does keep an eye on you though in case someone gets too handsy or too pushy. 🐅 As he became more in tune with the tiger inside of him it became harder to ignore someone trying to take you away from him.

You were questioning the witnesses for the most recent case that you were on, you had both split up to try and cover as many people as you could, you started talking to a guy, Atsushi had hoped that he would get to him first he didn’t like the look of him and the feeling only increased as he watched him interact with you, he leaned too close, talked with a slimy smirk on his face and touched your arm constantly. Before he knew what he was doing he walked over. “Is everything okay?” Atsushi asked and you looked back at him and smiled. “Yeah everything is fine.” You nodded. “Have you gotten anything?” He asked. “No one knows anything so far, but uh this guy was about to tell me something he said that he wanted something in return.” You explained. “What do you want?” Atsushi asked. “Just a date?” He answered, you both looked at him, Atsushi wasn’t surprised given the obvious flirting but you seemed blind sided. “Um-” “Come on, I’m sure that I can show you a good time.” He smirked as he leaned forward, and Atsushi pushed him back slightly. “What the hell is your problem?” The guy asked. “Back off.” Atsushi ordered. “Let her answer. You can answer for yourself right sweetheart?” “He’s my boyfriend.” You answered, the man in front of you frowned. “If you didn’t want to go on a date with me, you don’t need to lie to me.” He stormed away, you stepped forward but Atsushi stopped you. “Don’t worry he doesn’t need to believe it.” He said, guiding you away from the guy and back to work.

Ryunosuke Akutagawa

🧥 Akutagawa was arrogant about a lot of things but when it came to relationships he made sure that it was clear what was going on. 🧥 He’s a dangerous individual that flies off the handle at the smallest thing but that’s the only indication that he cares about whatever is happening, he’s bad at expressing how much he cares for you which often leads people to think that you're just friends or even siblings when you are out together. 🧥 Akutagawa had gotten used to getting rid of all his problems by erasing their existence but that was difficult to do in the middle of a cafe that you had decided to get a drink at. 🧥 So instead he gritted his teeth and waited for you to correct what was happening but he quickly realised that you didn’t even realise what it was that was happening.

You were talking to the waiter but you didn’t seem to realise the obvious flirting, Akutagawa’s leg was bouncing under the table and glared at the menu in front of him “‘Gawa have you decided what you want?” You asked, he cleared his throat and quickly gave his order before going back to glaring at the table. “Is something wrong?” “There should be.” He answered, you looked at him and frowned. “What do you mean?” You asked, tipping your head to the side and he rolled his eyes. “He’s flirting with you.” Akutagawa answered. “He is?” You asked. “Yes he is.” Akutagawa said as you leaned forward. “Are you jealous?” You asked. “…You can’t tell when someone is flirting with you but you know the concept of jealousy… Of course.” Akutagawa rolled his eyes as he leaned back in his chair, you moved from your seat across from him and sat next to him instead. “You wouldn’t have to be jealous if you’d just sit next to me or hold my hand sometimes.” You shrugged and he narrowed his eyes but before he could say anything the waiter came back over he put your drinks on the table, you both noticed the small piece of paper under your cup. “Take that back.” Akutagawa ordered, referring to the paper as you lifted the cup. “What are you talking about?” He asked. “This.” You answered, passing him back the paper which you were both sure had his number on it. “He’s my boyfriend.” The waiter walked away without saying anything else and Akutagawa seemed to relax after that gently playing with the fingers of the hand that was closest to him as you talked about something he was only vaguely listening to.

Honestly, he screams Shakira to me, and Jennifer Lopez too.

His entire music taste consists of 2000s pop music thats super nostalgic and at the same time makes you cringe.

ALSO, he has the Backstreet Boys on repeat. Like literally on loop all the time.

Tried, keyword tried, getting into classical music just to seem cultured and fancy but he ended listening to piano covers of Call Me Maybe and Britney Spears.

He´s the type of person you´d take with you to do carpool karaoke cause you know he´s gonna play the songs everyone knows.

Honorable mention: NewJeans (cause he´s secretly not so secretly a kpop stan)

Megumi Fushiguro

Isn´t it obvious?

He´s SO Lana Del Rey coded.

ALSO, he had a Melanie Martinez phase that´s really not a phase but he says it is.

Other than Lana, he listens to soft beat type of songs, like Cigarettes After Sex, Men I Trust or Clairo.

Even if its not his usual vibe, he lowkey highkey really enjoys Coldplay after Yuuji showed him one of their songs, especially their softer tuned songs. (aka Sparks im gonna cry hol up)

Kugisaki Nobara

SHES A BARBZ ALL THE WAY

Her whole vibe is hot pink and a hot girl typa gal. That applies to her music taste as well.

Shes very much into female rappers like Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion too.

And lets not forget the classic pop stars like Ari or Jessie J.

Shes honestly in that sense a lot like Yuuji. They both connect because they listen to a lot of older pop music, except Nobara listens to more girly ish songs or in general songs that are very much female empowerment (queen behaviour)

Honorable mention: SZA (she had Kill Bill at full volume on repeat every time the boys annoyed her)

Inumaki Toge

Okay listen. I see a lot of headcanons that Inumaki is a huge gamer, like Fortnite type of gamer.

The first thing i thought of when i thought of this was dubstep and electro music. Also underground beatboxing.

Like bro i´m sorry im not but to me gamers are equivalent to that when it comes to music and im telling yall cause i had A PHASE (very cringe one we do not talk about it)

I also feel like he tried to be emo once but he only got as far as listening to Twenty One Pilots which isnt even emo so.

Honorable mention: Pitbull, he started listening to him as a joke because of the memes but its not a joke anymore

Yuuta Okkotsu

Ok ok to me he´s very soft boy coded, kind of like Megumi but more bright and cheerful.

You know that 2020 phase where everyone listened to soft music like Clairo, mxmtoon, Conan Gray, etc? Yeah he never got out of that phase.

BUT, hes evolved yall, his top genre is indie music.

lowkey feel like Inumaki got him into Twenty One Pilots and now he uses their music as an excuse to scream. He´s hella good at rapping their songs too like zayum.

Maki Zenin

Before yall say anything listen to me.

I had to think this one through but shes very much rapper vibes to me, like og 2000s rappers like 2pac and Eminem.

I dont even know WHY but she just screams west coast thug life type of music.

Disses on modern rappers except Kendrick Lamar and MAYBE Travis Scott but thats saying too much.

I´m also convinced Yuuta introduced her to Joji and she cried in her room afterwards.

Sexuality: bi but definitely has not explored his attraction to masc presenting ppl as much. It takes him awhile to figure out he’s bi

A ship I have: THERAPY LMAO 💀 but fr I’d say either Spectra or Anubias, although I think those relationships would be more one sided (Dan not really noticing they’re crushing on him so damn hard). I think that’s why I like it so much too bc I’ve had MANY crushes like that before and i like angst… something something Pete Wentz lyrics be like

BROTP: Shun for sure, him and Runo strike me as the divorced couple who end up being besties after going separate ways and learning ab themselves more. Also Drago obvs

General opinion: I’d say season 1 Dan will forever be my fave. He’s a little shithead kid who gets the bomb dropped on him and he has to start reevaluating how he looks at the other people around him, but that starts to falter in the later seasons where he just becomes the stereotypical hero who gets all the buffs and does no wrong, which does his character such a disservice. I honestly like that he was such a dick in the beginning bc that’s how most kids are, but the point is they learn through meeting other people and experiencing shit. We were robbed of that for Dan after season 1 IMO. But overall he’s fine ig.

Marucho:

Gender: reads as a boy to me personally, now that I think ab it him being a trans guy is so real. Short trans kings unite 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Sexuality: his sexuality is fluid. He just likes who he likes, but I think he definitely tends to fall more for personality than looks

A ship I have: MARUREN OBVIOUSLY!! Literally one of the best things ab season 3

BROTP: Julie and Runo definitely

NOTP: uhhhhh idk honestly I haven’t seen him be shipped with too many ppl for me to be like “oh hell naw” 😭😭

Random hc: he def has a bakugan discord and probably a separate one for him and all the original brawlers from when the game first started. Him and Julie coordinate all the reunions and meetups

General opinion: I love this dude fr. He’s fucking LOADED but he’s still the sweetest kid in the universe. He’s not just hella book smart but he’s extremely emotionally intelligent too. I also relate to him with that whole gifted kid past a bit,,, hes honestly just all around a fantastic character I’m a big fan of Marucho. Def one of the best characters in the series

Billy:

Gender: yknow what,, I’m gonna say it. Billy gives me transmasc vibes

Sexuality: straight

A ship I have: Canon, but Julie. I think they’re whole backstory connection, the falling out and reconnection was really cute. I hope they have a good rest of their lives together 🫡

BROTP: Jake. I think they’d be homies. Jake is the third wheel on his and Julie’s dates

Let me say, I don't think I have met a group of more funny guys in a long time. They were all hilarious, extremely kind, and open to all the questions I asked, often elaborating into some pretty funny and outrageous stories." How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard MCR before?

Gerard: I would describe it as rock n roll played by a bunch of guys that listen to Iron Maiden, Black Flag, The Misfits, Classical music, Fantasy Metal, and Brit-pop. Mikey: It’s rock n roll played by a munch of man boys. We’re hard core R&B.

Who are your influences?

Gerard: Iron Maiden, Misfits, Black Flag, Classical music, Brit-pop, At The Gates, The Descendants, umm, fuck who else, Pantera, …

Do you have a favorite city or venue to play at? Why?

All : Chicago, the Metro in Chicago. It’s the shit. Boston and Jersey too. Gerard: We’ve played at the fireside two times, and I think if we had played there more that would be out favorite venue, but we have only had like two really brief experiences there.

How do you set your music apart from all the other emo/hardcore bands out in the industry today?

Gerard: Well what’s different about us is that we are not really an emo band, we get booked on a lot of the same tours and shows with what people are calling emo bands. Everyone will obviously say that emo is a really loaded term, it is pretty much just what people are calling music that kids are playing now a days. Um it’s punk, it’s rock, it’s hardcore, and we are not really part of that whole emo thing, but we are booked with a lot of bands that are emo, so it’s really interesting for us. What makes us different is that we kinda have an attitude about it, like a rock band, like a rock and roll band and uh, we kinda bring something like that to the table.

Do you see MCR ever moving to a major label in the future, or sticking to the smaller Indy labels?

Gerard: Major Labels are something that . . . well it depends. When you start a band you want to get you message out to as many people as possible. And major labels are a way to do that, and um, we see a lot of bands using that method like Thursday and stuff like that and it never, well shouldn’t change the band. I know it hasn’t changed Thursday, I can speak for them for sure. But sometimes it does change people, but, it doesn’t really change the band. A major label is just a way for them to get better distribution, you know, they get to make records they really want to make. Even a band like Radiohead can spend millions of dollars on a record, now you know? But we defiantly see ourselves always, well we will always consider ourselves and Eyeball band no matter what. We will always consider ourselves Indy, we come from that, no matter what happens in the future we are always going to be involved with the Indy labels, doing splits, doing seven inches, whatever.

What would be the lineup for your ideal tour?

Ray: Wait! We decided this a couple of days ago. It would be us, Recover and The Iron Maidens- an all female Iron Maiden cover band. And they are ugly. In the background – “No they’re not dude! Not all of them” Ray: Yea, well one of them is. And it will be incredible.

When you are on the road what do you listen to/what do you do to pass time?

Matt: We got Nintendo to pass time. Ray: We got the Zelda game that this kid’s been playing all the time. We have an X-Box buried somewhere in here too. Gerard: We’re like game Nerds. I got the new Cradle of Filth too, so that is what I have been listening to now. Everybody always picks up cd’s. All: The Exit. We have been listening to them a lot. And The Ghost.

Have you had any really horrible experiences or really great experiences on the road so far that have impacted the band?

Matt: Mikey got into a fight and broke his foot. Ray: Ha-ha, he got into a fight with a wall. The wall was mouthing off to him. Mikey: I got to hobble around with a cane for a while. Matt: Ray ripped the fender off the van. Ray: That was pretty funny though, it gives it attitude, don’t you think? Gerard: My dad keeps asking about the fender too. He goes, “Did you guys put the fender on yet.” And I was like, well we have it. Ray: It was also a crazy time when I ripped my head apart. Gerard: Yeah he got a really bad gash in his head in Columbus. And his face was like a mask of blood. We were terrified. Ray: And then this girl sent a picture to me. She sent this email because we put on our website that we wanted a picture of us playing live. And she sent this email saying “oh, we say you guys in Columbus, um, Gerard is so cute. I wonder if you guys remember me, I hugged Gerard after the show.” And the picture that she attached was called Gerard, and it was me and Gerard standing nest to each other, You can hardly see his face, but my face was completely covered in blood.

After you finish a set, and you leave the stage, what message or impact do you want to leave on your audience?

Ray: “I just got fucked” Gerard: Well the main theme is the whole anti-suicide thing. You know we really want to get that across to people that there is always someone to talk to even us, especially us if you are at a show and you are feeling upset. I mean I have had tons of people come up and talk to me about it and that’s the best. When we can talk about that, rather than my hair or some shit like that. Well, that is one main message, and the other message is like just fuckin’ be who you want to be, be yourself, and live out everything you absolutely want to live, cause were up there, and we are like five, probably most self conscious dudes in the world, and we get up there and we try to act like in Queen, you know what I mean. It’s not very characteristic for people who have self esteem issues, you know. And we have gotten over that and so many other problems involving our mental health with this band. This band is our therapy, and we try to get that across to people.

What were your inspirations during the beginning guitar in “Headfirst for Halos?”

ALL: Van Halen, Queen. Ray: Queen was a big one. Background: (there were certain other influences too. . . ha-ha) Ray: Ohhh well that influence was for the rest of the music in this song. We were fuckin’ zoinked out of our heads when we wrote that song. It seems like it is really against what everything sounds like on the record. It’s really major. Gerard: We wrote it literally on the spot. I mean that song wrote itself. In like 10 minutes, lyrics, everything. We were just joking’ around and I was like this is the catchiest, popiest, stupidest shit I have ever heard, and I was like how can I make lyrics make it not. And then I figured a way to do that. At first we were like no, this in not a My Chemical Romance song, but we just kept fighting it until it was.

What is with all the vampire/hospital allusions?

Gerard: Um, the vampire stuff is actually only in one song. The hospital stuff is in a lot of them. The hospital theme is like; I mean with me personally I am in and out of freakin’ hospitals, constantly and emergency rooms epically, for God knows what. So many different things, and all of us are in the hospital or sick, or so many things, and the hospital is just a good metaphor for a lot of stuff. It’s kinda a safe place but yet scare place so I kinda put it in the songs as a metaphor so people always have something to go to. Like in Vampires I say “take me to the doctor” obviously another hospital type reference. But I don’t know, it is just like the last safe place. And the vampire this was only once, but, we get a bad rep for it. Mikey: And we’re not even talking about vampires. Gerard: I think a lot of that came from how we were in the beginning. A little gothic, ya know. Now I got that leather jacket and it is all cool.

What Jersey bands are you into right now? Any we should look out for?

Matt: Up and coming you should look out for Senses Fail. We’re going out with them soon. Gerard: The only problem with us answering this question is that we haven’t been in Jersey since October so. . . Matt: Well every band that we like from Jersey is already huge. Mikey: Yeah ha-ha, check out this band called Thursday, they are pretty good. Matt: Yeah check out Midtown and Saves the Day. Ray: I miss “Little Buddy” dude . . . (someone in back) Little buddy?? Ray: “Little Buddy” you know, from Senses Fail, the singer. He’s a good kid.

Do you feel you have ever done your fans a disservice by not performing to you full potential because you were intoxicated? (I told the band that this was a question submitted on line before I read it to them)

Ray: Hahahaha. Wait did someone actually ask that?? All: Wow . . . . I wonder what show was at. Gerard: I think maybe he’s asking because he fuckin’ plays live and gets wasted. Ray: Wait can I read the question? Gerard: You what the weird thing is. I think people think we are intoxicated, I think that the thing. A lot of people think we are wasted up there and we are not at all. An I think that people have this impression that I am loaded off my ass on booze, and most of the time I am completely sober. (Background: ha-ha completely sober?) No, seriously most of the time I have had at most one or two beers. Matt: I think the biggest drinker would be Mikey. You know you can never tell if he is drunk or not. Ha-ha. Ray: Wait, real quick though, I will say that I have felt that I haven’t played as good because I have had like one or two beers and it slows me down. Gerard: Yea, in the beginning we defiantly had a couple of shows, I mean in the very beginning, because we played a lot bar shows. Matt: That was also because some people were really scared to get in front of a crowd. So they may have needed to get fuckin’ loaded to do it.

At this moment the door van opened and Ross and Dan from Recover stopped by to say hi. They also asked My Chemical Romance to back their van up a little. So Ray jumped into the front seat to move the van, and as he backed up, Ross didn’t do too good of a job directing him, and we backed the trailer into a car parked behind us. The laughing took a while to calm down. And the band decided that this incident belonged under my question of memorable experiences on the road. Ray: Well we just backed into a random car with our trailer. Ha-ha.

How much technical guitar lesions have you had, you music seems very sophisticated and impressive?

Gerard: Well, it’s just that we are very sophisticated gentlemen, and out music is very sophisticated. No no, we just listen to a lot of metal, and Ray is a fucking genius on guitar. That’s it. That is what you are hearing. Ray: Ha ha genius? Do you want to hear about my years of technical guitar lessons? I had no life in high school. No fucking friends, nothing. After I got out of class I would just sit at home and play guitar all fucking day. And play street fighter too. Oh, and I also took typing lessons. Typing lessons help with your fingers. Gerard: Well we basically have four punk rock dudes, backed up by a really great guitarist, and it sounds really technical.

Can you give your feelings on your album “I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love”

Gerard: We love it, um, I think the experience itself in making the recorded and getting to hang out with Jeff and Alex and John and Tucker, it was just a great experience for us all and we’re always going to look at that record as being special. We only did it in like nine days ten days something like that. But it was such a great experience and we love everything about the record, we love every song and we love the way the cover looks. Ray: it was defiantly an incredible experience. It was the first time I think any of us had gone in to record fucking for real, and it sounded so fucking good. We were blown away. We were like whoa, that’s us. It was awesome.

What expectations do you have for MCR in the future?

Ray: To be the biggest fuckin’ rock n roll band in the world. Gerard: To open up for iron maiden- direct support. We actually almost did in Germany, but we can’t go over there now, so it stinks. But to directly support Iron Maiden that is my personal goal. And to just be a rock band. And to reach as many people as possible. And not so much to leave a legacy, because that kinda stuff is bullshit, but to make a difference, you know what I mean, and then people will remember that as opposed to like “ah they were the biggest rock band ever” which is cool too.

As far as new records or videos go is there anything coming up?

Ray: Well we hired a group of writers to write the second album, because we didn’t feel like doing it, ha-ha, so they are the guys who worked on the last “NSYC record. Gerard: The same guys that worked on the Good Charlotte record. Ha-ha that was for you Frank because I know you want to talk shit. Ray: Yeah the new shit is going to be a lot more commercial and radio friendly, all over TRL. We are trying to keep all the songs under two minutes and twelve seconds, song titles really short. It is going to be amazing. I can’t wait to hear what it sounds like. Matt: I can’t wait to learn it. We have to learn to play that stuff live you know. Ray: Honestly, we’re writing all the time. Well actually that’s a lie, we haven’t written in a couple days. But we are always experimenting with shit. We just need some time off, but at the same time we don’t want time off because we just want to fucking tour forever. Gerard: It’s really hard to find the medium in that you know. Ray: I am fucking psyched about recording the new shit because it is going to be sick. All: It will be out when it’s ready.

At this time, we had finished with the interview, but the guys wanted to show me what some of their fans in Chicago had made for them. Gerard pulled out this huge scrap book that covered every show they had played in Chicago with full picture detail. It was extremely impressive, and the guys were so honored, proud, and appreciative to have fans make it for them. I was extremely impressed as well. There was a lot of work put into this scrapbook, and I could tell that My Chemical Romance loved it and is going to treasure it forever.

All: It’s the best thing we have ever gotten. It is amazing. It’s incredible. This is every show we have ever played in Chicago. Pictures of us playing at all the shows. This is taken by Teresa, Amanda, Lil Motherfucker, Sarah, Ashley. It took them two months to make. It goes from playing the Fireside to Metro. And in the back it gets even better because they all wrote us notes each. It’s amazing. The best thing we will probably ever get and we love it. It’s saying what the bands means to them, and how they found out about us and all their experiences at our shows in Chicago. We love it. When you see something like this, it’s just . . . . I don’t know. That’s Chicago for you. We are very lucky. We have the best fans.

Although these guys are lucky to have fans like that, the totally deserve it. They are all extremely friendly, funny, and humble, and deserve all the success in the world. They are a great group of guys, and if you get the chance you should support them when they come to your town.

eren jaeger x female reader

gone are the days where the walls reflect childish laughter and shenanigans. ezra already graduated college and started applying for masters, aran is nearing his own graduaton, and caspian is officially a sophomore in university. ezra has a place he can call his own, a studio apartment near his chosen university (though he still comes home if the weekend is empty of any workload) while the other two are still residents of their quaint, chaotic home). the kids are all grown up and you have all the time with eren. your husband has been thinking of going on a trip twice a month to truly get away from things. with the children older than they were, it requires more get-togethers for the extended family to remind them that family is the one thing a person doesn't lose.

it's one of those get-togethers after a thorough re-decorating in the jaeger household that caspian first thinks of throwing his little cousin to the newly-installed pool in their backyard.

"i never knew you guys have this many medals and awards here," mikasa notes while staring at the entire wall of glinting golds and silvers just for your three children. "where did you get all of these?"

"i did a little cleaning here and there," you answer.

"more like had a rampage," eren snorts.

you glare at him. he chuckles and plants a kiss on your forehead to erase the furrowed look.

"are you like a factory of medals or something?" sasha exclaims, jaw slackening at the display. "i know you have little geniuses but this," she gestures at the wall, "is madness! the most i got as a kid was a ribbon for being the most resourceful!"

"well," eren gloats.

"shut up, eren." mikasa rolls her eyes. "don't even make me list your awards."

"i got a trophy for every sport i play!"

"that's not academic achievement."

"woah! that's a lot of shiny things."

marigold, mikasa and sasha's daughter, tilts her head to assess the medals. the space at the far left probably has the most awards, the graduation portrait at the top showcasing a charming smile that is basically the male version of you. marigold remembers asking for her big cousin, ezra, for any help with homework. next to his space is aran's, his portrait that of a high school graduation, which will be replaced in a few months with his university one. aran is the definition of someone who has it easy. studying is easy for him, even the exams he take; one would say he's a genius at this point. and then, the last space confuses marigold. if there's an abundance of shiny circles below the other two, there's only a handful underneath caspian's. instead, there are three trophies that he received for being the mvp of the many sports he played and a couple of medals for winning a tournament. safe to say, caspian is a carbon copy of his father; looks and achievements and all.

marigold stares at the said boy, who grows to be taller than you now. he looks a lot like eren when the man was the same age as him, minus the emo long hair.

caspian is busy tapping something on his phone when he feels the wide-eyed stare boring on his skull. he slowly turns his head, only to find the creepiest little shit calling for him wordlessly. marigold is an adorable kid, yes, and caspian loves her, but when she does that thing ... caspian is convinced she's going to dethrone anabelle the creepy doll.

"what?" he asks.

the little girl blinks.

caspian looks around for the adults before knitting his eyebrows at her. "what is it, goldie?"

"how come you have the least medals on here?" she points at the wall.

ezra chokes on his soda, aran's jaw drops, helene gasps, and every adult in the house stops talking to each other.

caspian blinks at the sudden question. he puts down his phone on his lap.

"we ran out of gold."

ezra snorts and his chuckles become full-blown laughter at his baby brother's dry response. even aran bites his lip to prevent himself from laughing.

"now, did that answer your question? yes? okay." and just like that, he goes back to tapping on his phone, cheering lightly when his character didn't die while being in idle motion.

"don't plot anything, cassie," aran teases.

"i'm not."

"i bet he's thinking of throwing her in the pool," ezra snickers.

"..."

it's silent for one minute until, "goldie, let's go for a swim."

Three Danganronpa Characters the Fandom Ruined for Me

I know I've shared stuff like this before, but right now, I'm having a really shitty week and felt like writing this. These are characters in Danganronpa that I feel like that fandom has ruined for me and have got me thinking just how toxic the Danganronpa fandom can be sometimes. Two of them are characters I do enjoy, while the other one is a character that makes me uncomfortable sometimes.

Shuichi Saihara

Shuichi is one of my favorites, but sometimes, I don’t like it when people call characters like Shuichi “emo” all because he dresses in black and has a very dark or negative personality. It’s not that I don’t like emo, it’s more like, I feel like people are using it the wrong way. I feel like when it comes to characters that have tall, dark, and mysterious personalities and dress in black and have eye-covered bangs, people just assume they’re emo, but I just think that’s really stupid.

Here’s something that I’ll share, during my research about what the emo stereotype is like, one fact I found was that emo claims to glorify suicide. Now in terms of music groups that carry the emo label, do you really think that a band like Fall Out Boy would sing songs about expressing suicidal thoughts? Let me share this, I’m a bit of a fan of the American Pie movies, and in terms of what songs are in the series’ soundtracks, the majority of them come from bands that carry the emo label. And let me ask you this, do you really think the cast of American Pie are emo? Would Jason Biggs’ character be any similar to how the Danganronpa fandom portrays Shuichi? Moreover, when I was doing research about a list of songs that are about suicide, only about a few songs I was familiar with came from bands that carry the emo label, the remaining songs I was familiar with came from bands that don’t carry the label.

To me, I don’t personally use the term emo, instead I use subgenre terms like pop-punk or post-hardcore. I just think that depending on the theme of a modern rock band, people could just slam the emo label on any music group even if they aren’t part of that subculture, and I don’t want to be doing that. In fact, back when the emo backlash came out during the late 2000s, I had assumed nu metal bands like Linkin Park were emo, boy was I wrong. And I would be damned if I met someone who was dumb enough to believe that the reason for Kurt Cobain’s suicide was because Kurt Cobain was influenced by emo. FUCKING FALSE!

Okay, sorry about that last one. I just feel like people should be more careful with how they use the word emo, and at this point, I feel like emo is dead. I just think that characters like Shuichi shouldn’t be treated like this.

Ibuki Mioda

If you’ve read my really long blog on why I don’t like Ibuki, you’ll know that it’s because I don’t like both Ibuki’s music and her popularity in the fandom. Having to see Ibuki make references to death metal or any similar subgenre, whether it’s in the games or the fandom, just feels like a red flag for me.

But here’s something that I will explain that I never got to fully explain. There are fans that do seem to headcanon Ibuki as being a fan of music groups that aren’t death metal. The downside is that some of them aren’t music groups I would approve of. While most fans headcanon Ibuki being into punk, I’m a little disgusted from seeing headcanons that have Ibuki being a fan of emo/screamo shit, that kind of music is just fucking disgusting for me. In fact, I find it unfortunate that most fans don’t headcanon Ibuki as a fan of hard rock and metal bands with female lead singers, examples are bands like Halestorm, Otep, and Kittie. Moreover, it’s worth mentioning that Ibuki has a FTE that references the song “Freak on a Leash” by the nu metal band Korn, and out of the three bands I mentioned, Otep and Kittie also play nu metal. I’m not saying fans should headcanon Ibuki as a fan of that particular subgenre, I just never met anyone in the fandom who likes these bands. I actually do enjoy certain nu metal bands every now and then, so I can tolerate Otep and Kittie’s music, although I’m personally more of a fan of Halestorm’s music and I think that band has a few songs Ibuki might like. Nu metal aside, I also find it unfortunate that fans don’t seem to headcanon Ibuki as a fan of kawaii metal, which is literally a fusion of metal and J-pop idol music.

Getting back to the fandom, I really don’t like seeing Ibuki make any sort of reference to crap genres involving death growls. It’s just not cool or funny, it’s just seriously dark, and I’ve never met anyone who feels the same as I do. Read my long blog for more info.

Kirumi Tojo

I’m gonna admit that there are times where Kirumi can be a comfort character for me. There are times where I’ll cry over her death, and her love suite event is comforting sometimes. The downside is that I don’t like what fans are doing to her, namely the 2B jokes. I’ve already posted a blog about why I don’t like that and that characters like Kirumi shouldn’t be treated like that.

Obviously, the reason this bothers me is because I’ve failed to see the big deal about Nier and don’t really find it to be an interesting game. In fact, I’m more bothered to see how massively popular it’s become, to the point where the game's soundtrack is apparently one of the top soundtracks on iTunes, literally. But I won’t get into too much detail as to why I don’t like Nier, I just think it’s ugly, overrated, and the fandom is probably toxic.

Getting back to Kirumi, when I first met her, she actually reminded me of the Touhou maid, Sakuya Izayoi. Earlier in the year at the time (like, mid-2021) I was already getting into Touhou after learning about Sakuya and the fangame Koumajou Densetsu II. Afterwards, I fell in love with Sakuya after learning more about her. At least Sakuya is a fan favorite in the Touhou fandom whereas Kirumi is only acknowledged for being a gothic maid that believes in selfless devotion and being the prime minister. And at least I’ve never seen anyone pull off that 2B meme on Sakuya and frankly don’t want to see that.

I just feel like my opinion about Kirumi is different from the majority and I’m sick of seeing how the majority sees her, and the more I see it, the more likely I’ll lose interest in Kirumi and I don’t want to let her go. Is it wrong for me to like Kirumi? I just don’t want to let her go because I felt something for her death and I don’t want to forget about her. But I honestly just don’t get what the big deal is with Nier, what is it about that game that everyone loves so much?

And just as I don’t like seeing people make Kirumi look like 2B, I also hate it when people make jokes about Ibuki looking like Twilight Sparkle, but that’s a different story.

In Conclusion

Overall, seeing how Shuichi, Ibuki, and Kirumi are portrayed in the fandom just bothers me. I don’t like it when fans call Shuichi emo, I don’t like seeing Ibuki sing in death growls and act like an idiot who thinks she has her shit together, and I don’t like seeing Kirumi wear a blindfold. Having to see all three of them like that makes me realize just how toxic the Danganronpa fandom can be sometimes, but that’s just my opinion.

Alpheratz: He prefers your pastel outfits actually, because in a world this dark, he sees pastels as gentle and kind. Not that he would ever wear it himself though. What if you wore a pastel lolita dress though? Put it on and he will have trouble concentrating ever again!

Arcturus: To him, lolita dresses are extremely difficult to like. He loved them once, but then he attempted to sew one himself, but he keeps failing for reasons he just cannot understand. But he will make suiting accessoires for your dresses to enhance your cuteness! Is a fan of laces as well!

Pollux: He likes to hold your sleeves because he enjoys the fabric! If you ever spin to show your dress off, you need to do it on repeat because he loves the beauty of spinning dresses. Sometimes his brain has short circuits when looking at you and he just squeak with happiness over your cuteness. Wants to squish you, but only squishes your cheeks.

Sirius: When you are in goth clothes, he wears more pink. You wear pink, feminine clothes, he puts on emo clothes, with shirts that say "Can't wake me up" and thunders on it. Even if you spontaneously change, he does too. There is no way you ever arrive with the same aesthetic, unless the environment calls for it. But chances are, he will make sure to wear something that will make you two stick out anyways.

Spica: He always wanted to know if lolita dresses are comfortable at all, because they look bothersome to sit in. Has so many questions about the design as well, and will ask them all. In fact, your fashion sense just makes him learn everything about fashion. Differences amongst body types and cultures, and will completely forget the way you look because he learns so many new things. Might asks for your permission to commision a dress for you! Irons your dresses for you.

Vega: The bean and the lolita, you two seem like a strange couple. And he will try to not hug you too much, because he does not want to create wrinkles on your dresses. Treats you cautiously. He likes to see you in pink though, mostly because blue and pink are beautiful alongside each other.

Nyx

First born and for a long time believed to be the only born.

Knows he doesn't want to be High lord. Doesn't want the pressure of not only the title but to live up to his parents legacy. Also it's not his calling, what his soul is telling him to do with his life, but alas if it is his duty he will do it. Not that he tells his parents this in case he disappoints them (they could never feel disappointed in any of their children)

Studies with Rhys and Amren and trains with all three Bat Boys. If he ends up high lord then he will do what he has to do be a good one.

Like Feyre he is creative but where Feyres creativity is her art, his is music. It helps him communicate things he can't with words alone. Piano, chello, violin and oboe. He joins a string quartet and knows this is really what he wants to do.

Selene

Eventually, having seen Nesta successfully pop out a couple of winged children, Feyre and Rhys try again for another child. Selene is born with a lot less drama and near death experiences than her older brother

It doesn't take long to realize she is Feysands true heir to the Night Court. Intelligent, cunning and the perfect mix of brutality and kindness. Violent criminals feel her wrath but innocent citizens feel nothing but her love

So when she's chosen by the court it takes no one by surprise. She makes history as the first high lady to sit alone on the throne. Vivian and Feyre were high ladies through their own merit and being mated to forward thinking males. Selene does it all by herself.

Total space need and having Rhys being...well Rhys and extra he commissions an observatory to be built for her. As much as she enjoys being there it also becomes a safe space for her and if she's had a bad day, you'll find her in the observatory

Poppy

Rhys had once mentioned he'd like to do what his mother had done for Cass and Az; and take in a kid or two and Feyre is supportive of this.

The bat boys are at an Illyrian camp. One even more backward than most Illyrian camps which says something. The Bat boys are there pushing for better treatment for the women.

They are coming back from a particularly long headache inducing meeting when a woman approaches with a young child. Both are in a bad way and the woman seems like she is close to death. She begs them to take her daughter, to give her a life she can't.

They bring the pair in and do what they can but the mother dies a few hours later. Her body no longer able to hold out. Rhys takes a long look at this child, and knows she's coming home with him.

Given her age, she has yet to have a period so her wings haven't yet been clipped but she hasn't had a chance to fly. Rhys takes it upon himself to teach her and she loves it. Where Rhys would have flights with just him and his mother, Poppy has flights that are just her and her Dad.

Given her love of flying she's a traveller. Not just around Prythian but to the mortal lands and to other continents. She's full of stories and gifts from when she returns home.

She becomes a Valkyrie and is a total badass. If we are making comparisons she's like a mini female Cassian. Scares her parents shitless. Selene knows her armies are in safe hands with her sister.

Arron

Arron is the next kid to be adopted by Feyre and Rhys. His mother died from sickness and his father got beaten by some guys who felt he had wronged them. It hit close to home for Feyre.

During his father's beating Arron had gotten hurt himself. Badly and he never fully recovered. On good days he is able to walk unaided. Some days he needs crutches and on really bad painful days he uses a wheelchair.

Rhys literally builds a fully accessible house so the family can live somewhere where Arron has full access even on bad days.

Like Feyre he uses art as a means to help him deal with his emotions. His particular talent is charcoal drawings and pottery. He likes that you can make a mess and end up with something beautiful.

He also really likes swimming as it's an exercise that he really helps him following his injury. The water takes some of his weight and he looks into utilizing hydrotherapy for other disabled people or those recovering from injury.

Dahlia

The last to be adopted is Dahlia. She's older when she gets adopted and it's Nyx who finds her. He's returning from music rehearsal and finds her literally half naked lying in a gutter. Covering her modesty with his coat he mentally contacts his parents and let's them know he's bringing her back.

She's 16. Has been working as a prostitute against her will. Her father abandoned her mother as soon as she found out she was pregnant and she made some desperate decisions to look after herself and her daughter. One such decision was taking a loan from a brothel madam and working the streets to pay it back. When she died and the dept was still owed, it fell to Dahlia to continue working the streets to repay the dept

Dahlia had been on a bad job. Her patron had beaten and raped her and left her in the gutter where Nyx had found her. Feyre and Rhys had been horrified that this sort of thing happened and sent Mor, Amren, Az and Nesta to 'do what they needed to to deal with it'. They did.

Dahlia, like Rhys' mother, loves clothes and she had always dreamed of having her own shop with clothes she had made. As well as modelling them. Of course her new parents support this.

She claimed the modelling helped her change the narrative with her body following what she had been through. Gave her back her ownership and confidence in her own skin, and eventually takes on other sexual assault and rape survivors when her business grows.

Conventional Weapons: the product of burning out vs burning bright

BOY DIVISION

TW for drug addiction references and specifically cocaine reference along with suicide references

Picture this: it's 2009 and My Chemical Romance are at the height of their fame. Coming off of their biggest album yet, The Black Parade and their biggest tour yet, The Black Parade World Tour. They were burnt out and beat up.

Dealing with the effects of touring for so long had taken them out and the effects of fame were very clearly wrecking them too, being blamed for deaths of teens and even being called a death cult by major publications such as mainly The Daily Mail was taking a toll on the band so when they were sent into the studio to make the follow up album that would have to live up to the Black Parade, something broke.

Frontman Gerard Way would set up some guidelines for the following album, it would not be a concept album, it would be raw, angry and it would be the opposite of the grandiose nature of their previous efforts.

The album would be called Conventional Weapons and it was gonna bring MCR back to just being a band, no industry bullshit and no wild concepts, just a raw gritty punch to the face of the image thrown at them.

This collection of songs is a angry angry listen, the first song 'Boy Division' is a satire on the way the industry was killing the band.

The first lines basically ask the question of "if the industry tears you apart, would you let them?"

Cause Gerard has done that many times, he's talked at length about how during MCR, he weaponized feeling miserable and destroyed himself for his art, being thrown around and wrecked by people who viewed the band as just dollar signs.

These lines drip of sarcastic spite towards the view that the world had towards My Chemical Romance. They wore all black and were "oh so emo" despite hating that label and by god it almost killed them, that black was almost his casket gown, buried in the things they never wanted.

Also possibly a reference to 'Bury Me In Black' a demo that seems to be about Gerard's gender identity, so that makes the casket gown a duel metaphor as it's possibly about his identity.

These next lines are even more sarcastic which is the theme of the song: My Chem were rockstars and the life that demands consists of shopping and flying in planes and playing to their adoring fan base of mainly teenage schoolgirls (MCR has always had a large female fanbase as opposed to other rock bands)

"I'm not asking, you're not telling" seems to be a reference to two things, during MCR the band had a rule of not defining their sexuality to interviewers no matter how much they asked. Also connected here is the US army's rule of allowing gay soldiers into the army only if they didn't say they were gay, it was known as the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell rule" and it lasted from 1994 - 2011 and was active during the making of this album.

it's fitting given another song on this album 'GUN.' is a mockery of the US Government and I will do a text post on that soon enough.

"He's not dead, he only looks that way" is another dig at the image of them due to their last album being based around the concept of death and how it made the general public view them as a band obsessed with death.

The first three lines of the chorus paint a strong picture, Gerard is begging almost for something to save him from destroying himself for his own art and work and then the last line is a dig at the music industry and how his life now revolves around singing songs for the people who are forcing MCR to make them money.

The verse opens with a dig at the tabloid and paparazzi world, because if Gerard gets destroyed by the industry or by drugs, it will be broadcast worldwide and everyone can watch his downfall.

One thing I think should be kept in mind is that stars like Britney Spears had very famous breakdowns in the 2000s due to paparazzi and media coverage of their every action, here I think Gerard is pointing at the media that causes things like that and saying "when the industry kills me, you can all have a front row seat to the disaster."

This part is much like the first verse's ending but instead of focusing on the aesthetics, this part is about cocaine

Gerard was addicted to cocaine during the beginning of the Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge era and it almost killed him, here he describes exactly that.

He will be here, making this music that kills him until he explodes because that is what the industry wants of him.

This line is a more blunt version of the previous pre chorus, it cuts straight to the chase and pokes fun at the image that the world has of the band and the scene that MCR is associated with

I'm now going to skip to the bridge as I've already discussed the chorus.

This is a line that becomes more interesting when you view the future of MCR after this song alongside what Conventional Weapons was supposed to be.

Conventional Weapons was made to kill what the world thought MCR was, eventually Danger Days would actually go forward to try and do that as Conventional Weapons was never released as a album.

However it was released eventually and then once it came out, MCR ended and in his explanation post of the MCR breakup, Gerard described that there was a Doomsday Bomb in MCR that when it became too much, they would pull the pin and the band would end. That is what Conventional Weapons was meant to do.

Before ending this post, I want to make a point that I'm not fully confident in but I think is fair to mention that the name Boy Divison is a play on the band Joy Division.

I bring this up because of a rather tragic connection, Ian Curtis was the Lead Singer of Joy Division, he committed suicide and one of his reasons for doing it is said to be that the sudden fame and stress of the band breaking out and becoming famous was too much for him to handle.

I think Gerard saw similarities between himself and Curtis in the way that both were lead singers thrown into the public spotlight as the faces of a subgenre that was looked down upon.

Shonen no Abyss (Boy's Abyss) by Minenami Ryo

(I usually don’t make rec posts for emotionally dark stories, but I’ve been unable to stop reading until I finally caught up in 24 hours, even though I’m in harsh exam week and I really have other things to do, so here goes nothing :))

Before we begin, I should warn: even though the art style initially appealed to me, as I was reading the first few chapters I just thought it was going to be yet another random, plot hole filled, badly written story that’s just ranting about how shitty life can be. How emo.

Well, how wrong I was!

In a little town filled with nothing extraordinary, 17 year old Kurose Reiji spends his life going to school, hanging out with a few friends and mostly helping his mom at home, with a bed-ridden senile grandma and a shut-in brother to take care of. Even though he wonders about maybe going to the university after high school, his family needs him to work as soon as possible, so he’ll probably never be able to leave his hometown.

As he goes on with his life, one evening he randomly meets Aoe Nagi, a recently retired Tokyo idol he’s a huge fan of. As he shows the newcomer around town, Nagi suddenly mentions to Reiji that there is a hidden place in this town called “the lovers’ abyss” where two people go when they want to die together. Meeting Nagi leads to Reiji realizing that he’s got nothing he wishes to live for in his current life and he seeks a way to attempt suicide along with her.

I know what y’all are wondering. How and why the sudden arrival of a retired idol in this little town suddenly instilled the wish to die in Reiji? Is it fate...? Or is it a curse from the past?

Who tells lies and who speaks the truth? Who can help and who will destroy? Who’s the dead teenager in star author Esemori’s “Spring’s coffin” book who also committed suicide in the town’s river around 30 years ago?

Who’s the evil demon who instigated despair in their lives?

Watch out ~ the culprit(s) may not be who you initially think they are... :D

Before anyone starts reading though, very heavy warning that it’s a pretty dark and emotionally unsettling story, with a lot of suicide mention but also dark twists about emotional abuse, child abuse, sexual abuse, manipulation, blackmail, anorexia, etc. Also some female nudity from time to time (mostly in the beginning), but far from the most distressing part of this manga.

No my poor boy, it’s not on you.

The last thing I can say is that if you enjoyed Oyasumi Punpun, this is a title you might want to try! While in no way a masterpiece, it shares similar themes with it. Also while the beginning seems, as you may have understood, incredibly cliché, it’s a far more mysterious and deeper story if you give time for the plot to kick in.

About 120 chapters up as of now. Let me know if you beat me by reading them all faster than in 24 hours. xD Going back to my exam week now! Hope the start of the year was kind to y’all!! :D

by the time I had called Junhyung to come and pick me up, I'd already calmed down from the incident and now it seemed as if nothing had happened but the buzzing in my veins told me otherwise. Once the adrenaline rush wore out, my limbs felt tired and limp, like I'd worked out a lot.

The black BMW stopped in front of the small, dingy 24/7cafe I was seated in and a concerned Junhyung dragged himself out of it. His eyes lit up as he noticed my huddled figure on one of the dusty tables.

The bell tinkled as he pushed the door open, rushing over to me."Are you okay? Is everything okay? Where is your car? Are you hurt? What happened?" He grabbed my face, squishing it between his long fingers and scrutinized me.

"Umfff-Im Paine Junghfyung" I somehow managed to speak and he released my face. Letting out a breath of relief.

"god, you have no idea how worried i was. plus your grandma made it worse, heck she's threatened to kill me thrice. she's been screaming at me and begging for me to get you home."

I made a face. "bro, I've stayed out later on other nights, why is she so worked up today? what for?"

Junghyun shrugged, "maybe because it's well over four am now néra." he politely informed me and my eyes widened.

Junhyung and I walked inside a cold and dark home that belonged to me and were immediately met by a crazed old lady.

There were clothes littered everywhere and suitcases lay here and there. Junhyung raised an eyebrow at me and I just shrugged. I had no idea what was going on.

"Nerà!" I heard my grandma shout from the other room, she hurried in with a worried look dceorating her face and I knew something was wrong. She rarely called me Nerà, the name felt too unfamiliar she would say.

"What are you-"

"Get out of here. Get lost and never come back." she snarled as she handed me a few suitcases and looked over at Junhyung.

"Leave. Now." She hissed and he looked taken aback.

"Both of you. Leave right now." She rushed a hand into her bag and got out a couple of papers. "These documents including your passport will make you look like a married couple. It has tickets to London where you will stay for as long as I tell you."

I frowned at her pinched tone and sour expression. She had no reason to be this rude to me or him. My mind was in overdrive and Junhyung looked just as confused. "What is the matter?" I moved closer to her, trying to hold her arm but she moved back from me.

"Your flight is in an hour. Leave now. Leave!" She screamed at us and pointed to the door, making me feel my curiosity build up with anger.

"No! Grandma what's going on?" I spoke up, forcing myself to place my mind to the situation.

"Nerà please leave. Leave! They will be here. He will be. He will take you away. They will... Leave before they come." She spoke to me, looking extremely desperate and tears shone in her eyes.

I wanted to know what was going on and was desperate for answers. But the desperate and pleading, teary face of my grandma almost shut me up. "did you have a nightmare? did someone prank call you grandma? is there a problem?" i questioned, "is someone bothering you?" i had no time to deal with her panic when my own experience was still seeping into my bones.

Junhyung reached ahead to hold her hand and she hugged him tight. "Take care of her Junhyung.." she whispered and hugged me next.

"I'm sorry I couldn't protect you Belle." She whispered and cried on my shoulder. "You have to leave before he comes."

She broke the hug and removed a small locket from her bag, tying it around my neck. "Bye my love... I'll miss you... Be safe."

"okay this is making absolutely no sense. can you at least try to talk to me?" i frowned, refusing to accept whatever she was trying to dish to me. "you can't just make me leave the continent out of nothing?"

my grandma sighed, breathing deeply as if she was trying to remain patient and not hit me. "listen, there is something huge going on néra, and it can harm you. there is someone, just like you said. there is someone who has a debt upon me and he is not to be messed with. i don't want to drag you down with me dear, just leave."

this was looking a lot more like a wattpad fanfiction than a bad dream now.

"look grandma, first of all, a major fuck you to the nutjob who is after you and troubling you but he can't possibly have a debt larger than life. whatever it is, whoever it is. let him come, let him come and we'll settle this maturely like adults or legally if the need arises." i quietly spoke, wanting to calm her down but she refused to listen.

"oh no you silly girl you don't get it!" she raised her voice, making me flinch at the sudden change in her tone. "he is not someone you can negotiate with! he won't listen to you, of all people, a mere 23 year old human-"

"she is right you know." a very familiar tone echoed through the room.

the hair on the back of my neck perked up, the chills from earlier came back as i heard that darned voice once more.

what was he doing here?

i saw my grandmothers eyes widen as she took the man behind me in. i refused to turn back and look at him, how did he even figure out where i live? is he here to finish off the last witness to his crime?

"look at me when i speak to you néra." he mumbled, his tone hinting at amusement. i heard footsteps leading up behind me.

"hey listen! look at me!" grandma yelled, snapping her head to him. "you have business with me. not her. leave her alone."

he tsked, adding in a breathy chuckle as if the thought was funny. "oh luna," he sighed, taking my grandmother's real name. with the way he said it with such hate, he must know her personally, i figured. "you're still the same, pretending to ignore the reality. you can't possibly make me leave without her, can you? it's been 23 exact years. you know that the time is up. the deal is now set in motion."

"what deal?" i finally mustered my voice, speaking slowly as the man stopped a little near me. "what are you trying to say?"

i looked sideways at him, too scared to look him right in the eye, i could see the same handsome features from earlier, though they were much more relaxed than before. "the deal where you, start belonging to me, on 6 august 2022."

"what? is, is this true?" i turned to my grandmother, waiting for her to yell "IT"S A PRANK" to my face and tell me this is a sick joke but the events from earlier and my grandmother's expression old me otherwise.

"and if i refuse?"

"it's simple." he cracked his knuckles, tilting his neck. "these two die and you live painfully till you die in a few years."

"you see, i know you you know that i am not human little girl." he grinned, leaning down.

"my name is not little girl." i snapped back and his grin turned into a smirk.

"well, néra, you know very well that i am not a human, granted that, it's pretty obvious that my deals aren't human either. choose your pah. either you come with me like you should. or you play with the vow and let it torture you for the rest fo your life."

"choose wisely." he finished when i finally turned to look at him fully, noting the dark glint in his eyes.

Cheongsan POV

We were watching gyungsu climbed down the hand made rope and tap against the window to the broadcasting room. We suddenly saw someone open the window and grab him inside. We all gasped out of fear not knowing what had grabbed my best friend. His head sprung out of the window and screamed “guys miss park is in here!”

We all sighed out in relief and then helped our other friends climb down. I heard talking then silence while climbing down so I got distracted, then all of a sudden a zombie jumped out of the window and grabbed onto my foot. I screamed out in shock and all my friends were screaming at me to kick the zombie off.

I was in shock and couldn’t kick the zombie… I don’t know why I just couldn’t. Then that’s when I saw her… she was so pretty… her h/l h/c waving from her running to the window… her eyes filled with anger..? and ditermanation as she had a stick in her hands and pushed it against the zombie and it fell off me. She dropped the stick out of her arms and went back into the room as everyone stared at her in shock.

I got down into the room while suheyok was right behind me. I saw my friends and they started getting mad at me and then I looked up and saw a group of kids talking to each other in hushed voices. I then saw the really pretty girl that helped me look up from the other students and stare at me with… this harsh glare like she was mad.

I blinked my eyes at her in confusion as she rolled her eyes and turned to face the students. Miss park got our attention and told us that the group of students were the new American exchange students and that they can only speak English. In miss park’s class we were being taught English so I knew a little. She had them say there names.

The first person was a guy named James. He had black straight hair to the side that was short (he’s not emo😭). The next student had thick black hair, darker skin than the boy, and wore a black mask. Her name was isabella.

The next student was also a girl and she was darker than Isabella, her hair was a lighter brown with bangs and above her shoulders, her name was Camila but she said to just call her cami. Then there was the pretty girl that saved me… all she said was ‘y/n’ and whispered into a tall girls ear.

Then the two last girls said there names were ‘Izzy and Evelyn” Izzy was the tallest of them all with straightend short hair and Evelyn was shorter with light brown hair under her ears.Miss park said they had only spoken English so they couldn’t understand us when we spoke Korean.

I looked and see y/n pointing at something and whispering into Isabella’s ear as Isabella’s face became a horrid expression. I followed where her finger was pointing and it was pointing to my best friend gyungsu and on his hand there was a scratch mark. I looked at his face with shock and he looked at me and said

‘무엇’ (what) ‘손에 긁힌 자국이 있다’ (you have a scratch mark on your hand) he looked down and gasped loudly which caused all of us to look his way. ‘아니 아니 그건 막대기로 y/n 나를 때렸을 때였어’(No no it was when y/n hit me with the stick’ he pointed at her and she looked at him with an irritated expression.

Nayeon started screaming ‘그가 돌아서서 우리가 그를 여기서 내보내야 합니다 그렇지 않으면 그가 우리를 잡아먹을 것입니다’ (he’s gonna turn we have to get him out of here or else he’s gonna eat us!!!’ They started having a screaming match and i looked to see y/n looking at them with a distressed expression while all her friends were talking in hushed tones again but more fearful.

Miss park calmed everyone down and said that if we don’t feel safe then gyungsu can wait in the recording room to see if he’ll turn. As gyungsu stomped towards the room in anger and betrayal he looked at y/n with a glare and y/n returned one and he got into the room while slamming the door.

I turned when I heard a smooth kinda deep voice say something in another language. I saw how y/n’s mouth was moving but what I was hearing I couldn’t understand. Her friends started laughing loudly then y/n’s head turned fast to the door behind her and she smacked the back of their heads.

They all started rubbing their heads looking at her with very vengeful faces. The started scolding her loudly until she pointed to the door and then we heard zombies growling outside the door. They got quite and started talking to each other in a hush.

I spoke up saying ‘hello I know little English but I’ll try to speak to you as much as I can.’ They stopped and looked at me and Izzy spoke up saying ‘okay that’s good!’ And went back to talking to each other. I was flabbergasted to say the least.

Why hadn’t they wanna speak to me more? Was it bc I knew little English? Or bc they didn’t know me? I was gonna say something again but stopped when y/n walking up to the door to the recording room and flipped off gyungsu. I watched as gyungsu stood up and walked up to the door all angrily and started screaming at her, but nobody could hear anything.

Y/n then turned to miss park and said something I hardly understood. She then walked to the recording room and open the door to which gyungsu got up in y/n’s face and was saying ‘도대체 왜 그랬어 응?’ (Why the hell did you do that huh?) she stared at him blankly before saying ‘I saved your time from being in there’ he looked at her confused then she smacked him in the back of the head.

I reached out to grab her arm but then she said ‘좀비는 공격을 받거나 어떤 종류의 폭력을 받으면 돌아서기 시작합니다.’ (Zombies start turning from getting hit or any type of violence they receive) we were all jaw dropped from how she spoke that in perfect Korean. ‘I only know how to say that in Korean from the dictionary right here’ she then pointed to the dictionary on the smaller table near her hip. ‘Ohhhhhhh’ was what came out of everyone’s mouth.

30 minutes passing

Everyone was sitting around the room. I watched as y/n and Namra were talking. Who knew she was good at foreign languages. I looked and saw on-jo zoning out in her head. I nudged her with my shoulder and she turned her head fast to me. I chuckled as the confusion and anger sorwad across her face. ‘무엇’ (what) ‘당신은 구역’ (you were zoned out) ‘음 그냥 날 내버려 둬’ (oh well just leave me alone).

I rolled my eyes and turned my attention else where… else where being y/n. She’s just so pretty. I look down and see her hand intwerind with Namra’s? Why? She doesn’t even know Namra. I look over at Suheyok and see he’s looking at their hands also. He looks away and makes eye contact with me and then looks back down at his lap.

A few minutes later

I jerked up from my sleep and looked around to see nayeon and gyungsu arguing and y/n and Namra surrounding them. I get up and grab onjo with me and walk to them. Then I saw nayeon take out a rag with blood? On it and put it on gyungsu’s scratch. Y/n then grab nayeon’s hand and throw her away from him. I hear Minji gasp and I look at gyungsu and see his nose bleeding.

Y/n says something but I can’t understand it. Y/n puts her arm in front of Namra and start stepping away from gyungsu. He notices this and looks at them with such sad eyes and starts walking towards them. ‘난 아니야... 아니 난 안돌아갈거야’ (im not… no im not gonna turn) y/n looks at him confused then flinches when his neck snaps to the left.

Nayeon starts screaming to let him out, ‘아니 아니 내가 갈거야’ (no no I’ll go). He then starts limping to the door then y/n’s hand grabs his and stops him. She furrows her eyebrows at him and gives him a frown. He smiles softly at her and wiggles his arm out of her grasp and pushes her away from him.

Nayeon throws her bag at him screaming for him to go out. He slams against the table and then stops moving. Y/n notices Namra and puts her arm up to stop her from getting nearer. I start to hear growling and then gyungsu turns around his his mouth wide open and looks at y/n with hunger in his eyes. He starts running towards her and she slaps him across the face and he jerks away from her.

Daesu rushes up and grabs his arms to hold him away from my friends. I go over to the window and grab onto the rope.. I tell daesu to let him go and daesu looks at me like I have 3 heads, but then gets my idea. He lets gyungsu go and rushes to the back away from him. I start whistling the song we always whistle.

Gyungsu turns his head straight to mine, and starts running over to me. I see y/n reach out towards me but before she can get to me, I jump back away from the window holding onto the rope. I get back onto the window sill, hugging against the rope. Y/n is staring at me with little to no pity in her eyes. She looked away and placed her hand on Namra’s shoulder and started whispering to her.

Y/n’s POV

I can’t… why would she do that?! I look at Nayeon after Namra told me what she did. I spoke little Korean but enough to have a conversation. I walk up to Nayeon and slap her across the face. ‘당신이 그를 죽였다’ (you murdered him) I noticed everyone’s shock faces in the cornor of my eye.

Nayeons face was facing the left side and her hair in front of her face. Miss park comes up to us ‘이제 진정하자’ (lets calm down now). She grabs my hand gently and steps in between our body’s. I hear a voice at the cornor of them room that sounds so broken and hurt. ‘그녀는...뭐?’ (She…what?).

I look in that direction to see the boy that kept staring at me. ‘응. 그녀는 내가 사용한 좀비 스틱에서 쥐에게 피를 묻히고 그의 상처에 붙였습니다.’ (Yeah. She got blood on a rag from the zombie stick i used and put it against his wound) he looked at me with a shocked face then back at her with a sad one.

‘그것은 단지 당신 모두가 항상 나보다 그를 선택했고 나는 더 이�� 그것을 견딜 수 없습니다. 나는 그보다 낫습니다.’ (it's just you all have always choose him over me and i just can't take it it anymore i'm better than him) ‘누가 니가 걔보다 낫다고 했어’ (who said you’re better than him?). Nayeon scoffs and starts saying how she’ll leave if that’s what everyone wants, and no one stops her… but miss park. After she leaves miss park runs after her. Daesu tries to run after miss park but we stop him.

Cheongsan’s POV

I keep my gaze to the floor until I feel a warm hand on my shoulder. I look up to see y/n. Her brows are furrowed with a look of pity and sorrow🙁. I stare at her and grab her hand to hold in mine. She seems shocked by it but doesn’t pull away. ‘미안해요’ (i am sorry..). I hear her velvety voice say.

‘네 잘못이 아니야’ (it isn’t your fault). She tightens her hold on my hand and pulls me back to sit on the wall beneath the window. She leans her head on the wall and closes her eyes, which gives me a view of her neck and side profile.

She turns her head towards me and opens her eyes to look at me. She puts her head on my shoulder and I put my head onto hers. I close my eyes, never wanting this moment to end, but it soon gets ruined by a growl of a zombie than I remember Gyungsu. A tear escapes my eye and falls onto y/n’s hand that is onto of mine.

I feel her head move under mine and I look to see her looking at me already. She wipes the tear that fell from my cheek and I put my hand on top of hers to keep it there. I hear someone call her name and she rolls her eyes and turns back around to see who called. Her friends are staring at us, some with confused faces others with pit full.

She looks back at me with a small pout on her pretty pump lips and I smile softly at her, nudging my head towards them letting her go. She stands up and walks towards them, tapping her foot eating for the to hurry up with what they want. I chuckle at that but frown remembering gyungsu and processing what happened not to long ago.

I hear footsteps but don’t care to see who it is. Two hands grab the sides of my face and bring my face up to see on-jo looking at me with a sad face. I look over to the side where y/n was to see her holding namra against her by her waist. A pang of sadness hits me.

(No hopes peak AU Shuichi X Kaede) Saihara Shuichi did it! He’s finally a full fledged detective! Admitedly he’s still very not confident in himself and shy, especially around girls (which his uncle and mentor told him more than once, causing a lot of cute reaction from the admitedly quite feminine looking (except for what’s under his pants~) emo-looking femboy)

And today he’s going to take on his very first case alone! Well he wished he had an assistant but it’s not like he had many friends, and kaito his quite busy being in space as we speak. But anyway, his mission is simple, investigate and find who could be behind the theft of an expensive necklace at a very high-ranked gentleman club .. well, admitedly it looks more like a theatre, especially considering the fact the main attraction, the pianist, who is also the one who owned the necklace, is the reason why it’s so popular, some say she’s the new reincarnation of a sexy seductive Venus! .. and some says part of her body are so large they could be confused with planets, but it’s not like Shuichi liked curvy girls in particular. (It’s a lie, he DEFINITELY has a ultra thicc tall girl kink. Funny considering his own butt his incredibly large for a boy.) Uh, funny, she has the same name as his childhood friend crush who he told he was gonna marry when he was very young. Anyway hopefully it will go well!

They say that reality has its perks...and boy was Shuichi realizing that even the rumors her heard about Club Harmony's owner tended to not live up to how magnificent the truth was.

When he first got there, the club owner, Kaede Melodic (a name that brought back nostalgia memories...but certainly couldn't be her) was in the midst of her show. Beautiful, radiant, blonde hair that seemed to glow under the spotlight. Fingers that graced and played a melody that could rival even famed pianists in terms of skill. That had hypnotized every person, male or female, with its tune.

And, yes, there was no shame that she was incredibly sexy. Her curvy body was coated in a purple dress, that was hardly leaving much to the imagine in terms of covering her incredibly large breasts that seemed to dwarf friggin' solar systems, which seemed to jiggle ever so slightly as she played - enough to ensure people's eyes would remain on her show no matter what!~

When the taller woman stood up, giving a demonstration on how much said dress clung tightly to her body and how said dress had plump thighs exposed, people found themselves hollering like crazy. Shuichi only barely resisted doing the same, but did find himself clapping just as intently...hm? She had winked at the crowd, which earned even more fervor...but why did it feel like it was aimed at him. Like specifically?

Dismissing such thoughts, Shuichi had to wait until after clean up and the other patrons left, before he could meet his client. Knocking on the door of her dressing room he heard a sultry voice from behind it: "Come in!~" "Ah, ma'am, I'm hear to talk ab-oh!?" Her face turned bright red as he bared witness to Kaede as she sat in front of her dressing mirror, seemingly putting on her make-up. As it turns out, Kaede's dress was a backless one...and boy did it reach low. Just low enough that large peach that she calls her rump was partially exposed...and the fact it didn't seem like she was wearing underwear!! Shuichi began to stammer out, half embarrassed and thinking he should leave....and 'another part' of him stirring, getting him excited as he couldn't bare to turn away!

Kaede noticed through her mirror, and a small smile formed from her plump lips. Turning around and standing up (which had the effect of Shuichi realizing how much this woman towered over him), she sauntered up to him, hips moving ever so seductively. Stopping when she was right in front of him - of giving him a personal closer at her enticing breasts - said smile turned almost cheeky in nature.

"Like what you see, Detective?~ You always were a lover of the 'larger' side of life!~" That smile...that playful tone...it was then that the pieces finally put into to place for Shuichi. This was...his precious friend Kaede! Kaede Akamatsu!~

"I-It's you!? I-I didn't expect! I mean! I..." Kaede giggled at Shuichi's reactions and wagged her finger teasingly.

"What? That I'd grow up looking like a total bombshell? That'd I be just your type?~" she teased and pulled the detective in for a hug. A hug that had him face first in what seemed to be the world's softest set of boobs most would dream of getting a glimpse of!~ Doesn't help that the rest of his body was so pressed up against her alluring one which were as equally amazing...especially to that 'other part' of him that was barely containing itself.

"Pssh, the case can await a bit later...I've been so eager to talk to you ever since I saw that ad for your agency online! We have so much to discuss...and to do?~" That sultry voice came back and, as Shuichi glanced up, he could see a lustful smirk on her face. Slowly, Kaede reached down and grabbed at the detective's bottom. Even for a guy, Kaede could tell he had an ass that most girl's would envy. His pants seemed to be just straining to keep himself

"Aaaaah~" He moaned out, face flushed and flustered. Only encouraging Kaede to continue, pulling down both his pants and boxers....after a couple of tries given how tightly they clung to him. Once off, she was practically salivating as she squeezed and rubbed the pale rump in her midset. Jiggly and squishy to the core. Kaede could play with it all day.

"Looks like I wasn't the only one to grow up into something stunning!~ I could just sit you down and play with this all day.....but I can feel something else clamoring for my attention!~" By now, Shuichi couldn't hide it. The first of many long nights as, with Kaede's help, they found the thief responsible...and she happily stuck around!~ Club Harmony became a place where Shuichi could use as a second office, where both could conspire to figure out their next case, to 'investigate' each other's bodies some more...
