i've recently sort of (not really, it's hard tbh) come to terms with the idea that i'm nonbinary (or something extremely similar). i prefer the name daniel (my birth name is feminine) and the pronouns he/they. it's hard for me because i've never really thought about it before, but i just don't feel comfortable as a woman and i don't always feel comfortable as a man.
if im honest, watching the third season of tua helped me a lot. seeing elliot's character of viktor be embraced so easily really struck a cord with me.
now, i just don't know if i'm ever going to be brave enough to tell anyone. my parents have always said they don't care if my siblings and i are gay, but they've never been openly accepting of trans/nonbinary people so they're reaction is a mystery to me.
my friends might be more likely to accept me, but i get scared because there's something in the back of my head that's telling me that i'm faking this? idk if that's a normal feeling or not. but i also know that i'm not faking it. i don't have physical dysphoria, but i absolutely hate being spoken about like i'm female and everything that comes with people perceiving me as a woman.
i want to come out, i think about it a lot, but as someone who has always identified as a cis person coming out just feels like the scariest thing i've ever done.
anyways, tldr: coming out is hard and maybe i'll just hide away in my room forever lol
