The Macaroni War
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kate ran into the living room of her apartment and around the couch panting heavily.
“Yelena I’m not taking it back!” She giggled.
Yelena Belova entered the living room holding a pot of macaroni and cheese. She set the pot down on Kate’s table and turned to her.
“Macaroni and cheese with hot sauce is not disgusting Kate Bishop,” Yelena crossed her arms.
“Just admit that you’re wrong,” Yelena sighed.
“It is!” Kate reaffirmed smirking.
“It’s also weird,” she smiled knowing perfectly well she was poking a very dangerous bear.
Yelena frowned now and began to move towards her.
“Maybe Kate Bishop needs to just try some?”
“No way,” Kate shook her head.
Yelena grabbed one of her wrists pulling her over the couch.
Kate yelped and squirmed, Yelena grabbed her other wrist and pinned her to the arm.
“Yelena what are you doing?” Kate squirmed but knew what was going to happen.
“Just try it or I will be forced to make you try it,” shrugged Yelena.
“Not a chance,” Kate shook her head.
Yelena sighed.
“Well then you know what comes next then Kate Bishop,” Yelena kept ahold of Kate’s wrists with one of her hands and Yelena’s other hands began to crawl down Kate’s arm.
“Nohooo wait digon’g you freaking dahare!” Kate giggled. Yelena’s spidering fingers made their way past Kate’s elbow and ferociously dug into the poor girl’s armpit. Kate squealed and began to instantly thrash around on the couch.
“Just agree to try the Macaroni and I will stop,” Yelena smiled at the writhing puddle beneath her fingers.
“Nehever!” Kate giggled.
“Then you leave me no choice,” Yelena’s hand moved down to her ribs and sides causing Kate to snicker and twitch, then she felt her shirt yanked up exposing her weak spot.
“Last chance,” Yelena’s fingers hovered above Kate’s now bare exposed stomach.
Kate stuck out her tongue and smiled.
Yelena shook her head disappointed and dug her nails into Kate’s belly. Kate screamed and bucked underneath her. Yelena smiled spidering and squeezing across her tummy, sides and ribs.
“OKAAAAHAYYY!” Kate screeched through her laughs.
Yelena stopped the tickles and put her ear down to hear.
“I’m listening.”
“I said it was a gross food but I was wrong, not only is it gross but so are you!” Kate laughed.
Yelena’s mouth dropped and she turned to look at her.
“Oh you are so in for it now Kate Bishop,” Yelena lowered her head towards Kate’s belly. Before Kate could protest she felt the massive raspberry blown on her bare tummy and it sent a massive tickle through her system.
Kate screeched as loud as her lungs allowed her filling the apartment with laughs. Yelena smiled and blew another and another until Kate was red faced with tears in her eyes.
“ALRIGHIGHT!” Kate finally gave in and Yelena let her arms go, Kate instantly curled into a ball panting and giggling.
“I’ll try your stupid macaroni, and I’m sorry I called you gross,” Kate say up pouting,
“I accept your apology,” Yelena took the pot on Kate’s table and handed it to her.
Kate took the spoon eating some of the hot sauce doused macaroni and licking her lips.
“How is it?” Yelena smiled.
“Amazing,” Kate’s eyes widened and she went back for another spoonful.

Sweet giggles
A/N: this is a request for @tickle-beans, sorry it took me so long to write! I hope you enjoy!
Summary: Kate and America decide it’s a good idea to steal Wanda’s candy, until Wanda makes them realize just how bad of an idea it actually was.
Word count: 2070
Tumblr media
“Are you sure we won’t get in trouble for this?” America asked, looking at the huge pile of candy sitting in front of her on the couch in Kate’s apartment. Kate had urged the young girl to follow her into her room five minutes earlier, and while America had been confused, she couldn’t help but drool a little the moment she had seen the overload of sugar.
“Don’t worry about it, we’ll be fine!” Kate promised with a wide grin, looking at it with pride. She and America were well-known for their love for sweets, and the others had quickly learned the hard way to either hide away their stash of snacks or lose it. And since it hadn’t been stashed away, that meant that she could take it, right? Exactly!
“But what if it’s not meant for us?” America insisted, yet didn’t look that sorry either as she sat herself down on the couch, taking one of the gummy bears in her hand.
“Well in that case, I’ll go buy them new candy tomorrow or something! Don’t worry so much, have some candy!” Kate urged, playfully jabbing the young girl in her ribs several times to make her giggle. This was all the motivation America needed, apparently, as the two of them started diving in. Kate knew that she was gonna have stomach issues later, because of the ridiculous amount of sugar she was eating, yet that was simply something future Kate would have to deal with. The more candy they ate, the more they started giggling, feeling giddy from the sugar rush. Candy, music, friendly company, everything seemed perfect at that moment.
That was, until they heard loud footsteps stomping down the hallway, in their direction. Seconds later, the door of Kate’s apartment flew open, revealing Wanda. The Scarlet Witch looked at the duo with her hands on her hips, immediately noticing all the empty candy wrappers spread over the floor, and just how little of the original pile was left.
“I knew it! Kate! America! I turn my back for five minutes and you two go running with my snacks!” She said, sounding rather annoyed. Kate and America looked at her, looked at each other, and finally burst out laughing. Wanda shook her head and let out an exasperated sigh.
“Oh no! I’m sorry!” America managed to say between her giggles, actually feeling sorry but being unable to stop herself from laughing as she looked at Wanda. With her hands on her hips, she DID look like a mom.
“S-sorry!” Kate giggled, covering her mouth with one hand as she laughed. The witch shook her head and let out a deep breath.
“I told you!” America hissed to Kate, who just started giggling faster. Wanda could tell that they were very high on sugar, obviously from eating all her candy. And while she tried to stop it from happening, she could feel the corners of her mouth tug upwards as she listened to those giggles. Still, she couldn’t just let them off like that.
“Now who thought it was a good idea to steal all my candy I placed in the kitchen? Hm?” Wanda questioned, raising an eyebrow at the duo. They instantly pointed at each other, which earned an eye-roll from Wanda and a gasp from America.
“Hey! You literally dragged me in here with the candy!” The teen cried out while looking at Kate with a look of betrayal. When said archer merely shrugged with a grin, America reached out to squeeze at her side, making Kate snort and curl up. And it gave Wanda the perfect idea. With a swift move of her hand, she lifted both Kate and America into the air, making them squeal in surprise.
“Woah hey! What are you doing?!” Kate cried out in giggles, still not quite used to the sensation of floating mid-air. America on the other hand, who had requested Wanda to make her fly multiple times already, was pretending to be an airplane, now fully comfortable with Wanda and her magic.
“You two stole my candy, so I feel like I need to punish you for it… and since you’re already giggling so much, what better way than to tickle you?” Wanda suggested, a mischievous smile creeping onto her face. She couldn’t help but smirk evilly at the way Kate’s and America’s eyes widened with anticipation, immediately squirming in her grasp.
“No! No wait, I’ll get you candy tomorrow! I promise!” Kate said, squirming in the invisible hold, unable to hold back a nervous giggle. Wanda held her chin and pretended to think about it, before shaking her head at the brunette.
“Hmm… nope, sorry, no can do! I wanted to eat candy today, but now I can’t. You ate my candy, so I tickle you to death,” She chuckled, noticing right away how America hid her face in her hands.
“Stop saying it out loud!” The teen whined with a giggle, obviously trying to hide her embarrassed blush. Wanda couldn’t help but chuckle as she looked at her young friend with a fond expression. She knew that Kate was the real culprit in this scenario, yet she’d take any excuse to mess with America.
“Stop saying what? Oh you mean tickle? Stop saying tickle?” Wanda teased as she walked up to her, scribbling her nails against her sides. The teen shrieked and immediately brought her arms down, only to find them immobile in the air.
“No! NohohohohoOHOHO! NO WAHAHAHAIT!” America cried out, a steady stream of giggles filling the room as Wanda focused on one of her weakspots. Unable to move her arms or legs at this point, she merely threw her head back and let out her laughter. Kate, also suspended in the air, could only watch in anticipation as two of Wanda’s red wisps floated in her direction.
“Wait? Wait for what?” She questioned with a raised brow, smirking widely as Kate started giggling hysterically when the wisps tickled her stomach. The archer started patting her own belly, as if trying to stop the magic, while her giggles grew faster and louder with every second. Wanda continued scribbling her nails against America’s sides, occasionally scratching them against the middle of her stomach.
“Nohohohohohoho! Ahahah! S-stop! IHIHIHIHIT TIHIHIHIHICKLES!” The teen squealed, her eyes closed shut and her nose curled up from laughing as she tugged at her limbs.
“That’s kind of the point, you know, since I’m tickling you,” The witch teased, suddenly moving her hands upwards as she started vibrating her fingertips into her ribs. America howled from the ticklish sensations, arching her back as far as she could before letting out a scream of laughter when Wanda tickled her stomach again with both hands.
“WANDAHAHA PLEEEHEHEHEHEASE! I CAHAHAHAHAN’T!” The poor teen cried out, and Wanda could tell that she needed a break. Deciding to be merciful, the witch pulled her hands away to give America a breather.
“You really are too ticklish for your own good,” Wanda chuckled while ruffling her hair, leaving America hanging in the air to walk towards Kate, who was still giggling madly from the wisps teasing her stomach and sides.
“Plehehehehease! Mahahahake it stohohohohohop!” Kate giggled, curled up into a ball into the air. Wanda smiled widely at the cute sight, yet ignored her plea for mercy completely. Instead she waved her hand, causing Kate’s arms to be stuck in the air next to her body.
“Now, I know that you’re actually the one that took the candy here, and just for that little lie I’m gonna punish you a little bit more,” Wanda teased with a wink, earning a giggle and a whine from her friend. The wisps disappeared, causing Kate to let out a sigh of relief. However, when Wanda rolled up her shirt to expose her bare stomach, the brunette started squirming in the air.
“No! Noohohoho plehehease! Wanda! You cahahan’t!” Kate pleaded, giggles from anticipation escaping her lips as she looked at her friend. Her stomach was her biggest weakspot, and to her dismay, literally everyone knew about it. Wanda winked again before gently fluttering her nails over Kate’s toned stomach. It took less than a second for the brunette to throw her head back with a squeal, loud giggles filling the room again.
“I can, and I will,” The witch grinned, fluttering her nails all over her stomach while keeping the touch light and gentle, knowing it worked best against Kate. The red wisps came into existence once more, this time floating towards her neck, and by the time they touched her skin Kate was an absolute giggling mess. America looked at her friends with a wide smile, the contagious laughter making her giggle as well.
“That’s what you get for throwing me under the bus like that,” She said teasingly to Kate, before shrieking loudly in surprise as one of the wisps started tickling her ribs. “No wait! Nohohoho!”
“Giggle some more for me,” Wanda grinned, turning her attention back to Kate as she wasted no time in tickling the archer to death. Her nails fluttered against her sides, lightly poked all over her front ribs and gently scratched against the center of her stomach, sending Kate straight into hysterical laughter.
“YOU’RE KIHIHIHILLING MEEEHEHHEHEEEE! WAANDAAHAHAHAHAHA!” Kate squealed, sucking in her stomach in an futile attempt to escape from the nails, knowing that there was nothing she could do to escape her ordeal. She could only float and suffer.
“Now now, no need to be so dramatic, I’m only mildly torturing you,” Wanda chuckled, yet pulled her hands away to grant her younger friend a break. Kate let out breathless giggles from the gentle tickles on her neck, slowly catching her breath as she looked at Wanda.
“I’m sorry for eating all your candy,” She managed to say between giggles, causing Wanda to blink. She had temporarily forgotten about the candy and had been tickling her friend because it was fun. And she could tell that Kate was being genuine, so with a wave of her hand she made the wisps tickling her neck disappear.
“Hmm… okay, you’re forgiven. But! I’m not done with you yet,” Wanda smirked, giving her another wink. Kate’s eyes lit up at the first part, before letting out another half-hearted groan at the second part.
“Oh come on!” She giggled, yet it was obvious she didn’t really mind. Her love for tickles was well-known among her friends, something they all loved taking advantage of.
“Ah, none of that, you know what you did! My candy is still swimming in there!” Wanda said, playfully raising an eyebrow as she poked the middle of her stomach several times. Kate started cackling loudly again, giving her a pleading expression.
“NO! Plehehease not thehehere!” She nearly begged, clearly unable to handle more tickles on her stomach. Wanda pretended to think about it, before suddenly wiggling her nails into the brunette’s underarms.
“Alright, I’ll go here instead~” Wanda said with a mischievous smile, knowing that she switched a bad spot for another, just as bad, spot. As expected, Kate let out a shriek of laughter from the tickles under her arms, desperately trying to pull her arms down.
“WANDAAAHAHAHAHAHAA!! PLEEEHEHEHEHHEASE!” She cried out, arching her back while closing her eyes shut. Being immobile made it tickle that much more.
“Please tickle your armpits a bit more? Yes?” Wanda teased, sending the archer in another fit of loud laughter. She knew that Kate could take a lot of tickles, which made it all the more fun to torment the young archer. She continued scribbling her nails into her hollows and over her biceps until Kate fell into silent laughter, cheeks a bright red, before finally pulling her hands away. Wanda let out a chuckle and lowered both girls to the ground, pulling the remaining wisp away from America. The duo let out their remaining giggles while catching their breath while laying on the floor, defeated.
“Now, Kate, you’re gonna go get me candy tomorrow. And if I don’t get the exact same pile that I bought today… well, I think you can figure out what will happen to you both,” Wanda said with an evil grin, before waving them off. The two girls waited until the witch had left before letting out a collective groan. Kate looked at America for a second before letting out a second groan.
“Don’t even say it.”
“I told you so!”

Make it a Challenge
Word count: 2,400
Pairing: Clint x reader and Kate (platonic mentor relationship)
Reader pronouns: none used (gender neutral)
Warnings: mild cursing
After Skill of a Valkyrie Part 2 came out to 13k words, I'm planning on making the next few prompts more drabble-ish length (I say 'ish' because I can't seem to write anything under 1000 words 😂). Less backstory, more just diving right into the prompt request. Hopefully this will be helpful for you readers out there with less time on your hands compared to reading through my 10k plus novellas 😅😅
This Prompt was for a mentor-mentee relationship between Clint and reader. Featuring Kate Bishop also!
Tumblr media
"You think you got it this time?"
"Yeah, yeah I've got it."
You raised your bow up to shoulder height as you'd practiced dozens of times today. Arrow docked in place. String taut. Arm straight. Feet apart.
"How's this?" you asked, glancing to your mentor. Clint pinched his chin between his thumb and index finger for a moment, scrutinizing your stance. "What's wrong - having trouble finding fault this time?"
"Your elbow is pointed up again," Clint stated flatly, stepping closer so he could gently press down on your elbow with his palm. You scoffed. "Hey - you can be annoyed with me all you want, but you won't hit the target with that elbow all crooked like that."
"I can't help it - that's the direction it wants to go!"
Clint laughed warmly, lowering your elbow once again as it tilted upward seemingly of its own accord. "Here - I'll hold it in place, and you shoot."
You took in a slow, steady breath through your nose and held it, locking your gaze on the target fifteen feet away from where you stood. A slight breeze caressed your cheek, but nothing gusty enough to alter the course of your arrow. Tightening your grip on the bow, you released the string and arrow simultaneously with your breath.
Thwap.
"See? That's better than last time," Clint encouraged.
"Yeah but it's still only hitting the edge of the target," you argued with a groan. "I'm not convinced your methods work for me."
"Hitting the edge of the target is better than completely missing the target by a few feet, don't you think?"
You shoved his shoulder playfully at his teasing tone. "Yeah, yeah. I'm still not convinced."
"How about you watch Kate shoot one next, and you tell me if her elbow is all stuck up in the air like a chicken wing?" Clint called after you as you stalked across the yard to retrieve your arrow. You made a rude gesture at him without even turning around, grinning to yourself when he balked at you. "Oh, aren't you the mature one?"
"What, like you've never done it before?" You spun on your heel to walk backwards, throwing an impish grin his way. He responded by mimicking your rude gesture in return. "Point proven."
"Hey Kate! Why don't you come over here and show us how it's done, hmm?" Clint called across the yard toward the front porch. "I'm getting tired of the whining!"
"Hey!" you hollered, feigning insult. Kate glanced up from the book she was reading to Nate, grinning at the banter between the pair of you.
"You think you'll get less whining with me? Wow. You must be losing your memory, old man," she called in response as she handed Nate the book and rose from her seat.
"You know... I think you're having a bad influence on her," Clint griped as you returned to his side with your arrow in hand.
"But it's so easy to get under your skin!" you countered, sheathing the arrow in your quiver. "How could we not find enjoyment in irritating you when you get to tease us all the time for our form?"
"Uh, yeah. I think it's only fair we get to pick on you sometimes too," Kate concurred as she approached the pair of you. Clint rolled his eyes, clearly attempting to suppress an endeared grin.
"Alright, enough chit-chat. Kate - show us your shooting stance."
Kate hoisted her bow off her shoulder and raised it in one smooth, sweeping motion, docking an arrow. She pulled the string back and held it in place, allowing the two of you to observe her form. Clint immediately gestured to her notably straight elbow, shooting you an 'I-told-you-so' look.
"See? No crooked elbows here," he emphasized.
"Yeah? Well... Kate's shorter than me. It makes sense."
"Whahat?? No, that doesn't make sense at all!" Clint laughed. "Alright, Kate - take the shot."
Kate released the arrow and let it sail toward the target, burying itself straight in the center of the bullseye. You sighed in frustration. She turned to offer you an encouraging smile.
"Don't worry - I've been training since I was a little kid," she reminded you. "We've both got a lot of years on you in archery experience. You'll get there." Your expression softened at her words of wisdom. Satisfied, she turned and shot Clint a cocky grin. "Honestly, Hawkeye - you've really got to make this a challenge for me someday. It really isn't fair that we're both training on the same target with such a gap in experience."
"Last I checked, I wasn't training you today," Clint bantered. "You were here to help mentor. And keep Nate out of shooting range."
"He's fine, he's hanging out on the porch," she assured, gesturing to the young boy where he sat reading the book she'd left with him. "You never give me a challenge even when you are mentoring me! Make a smaller target, let me play with trick arrows... something!"
Clint pressed his tongue against the inside of his cheek. "You want a challenge? I'll give you a challenge. Go on and line up your shot."
Kate shot him a confused look, nevertheless sliding an arrow from her quiver and docking it in her bow once again. She turned to look at Clint with an exasperated expression. "How is this a challenge?"
"Just focus on the target. I'll tell you when to shoot." Clint sidled up behind Kate as she returned her attention to the target, reaching around her to cover her eyes with his hands. She yelped in surprise, lowering her bow. "You wanted a challenge!"
"Yeah, but warn me next time you're gonna blindfold me with your sweaty hands, alright??" She repositioned her bow, this time not flinching when Clint blocked her vision. "This isn't a challenge," she boasted, releasing the arrow and striking the target mere millimeters from the previous arrow in the center.
"Oh you want a harder one? Go ahead, I'll come up with something."
Kate scoffed. "Yeah, alright. Whatever you say." She realigned her shot with a fresh arrow, rolling her eyes with a bored expression. As she prepared to shoot, Clint placed his palm on the crown of her head and mussed her hair. She whined as her arrow sailed, still striking its target despite the added distraction. "Don't mess with my hair! Ugh, you're a child!"
"Thought I was an 'old man' a few minutes ago?" he retorted with a teasing lilt.
"You're a childish old man, clearly," you chimed in in Kate's defense. Clint shot you a half-hearted glare.
"You'd better watch yourself, you're still not done training for today. I can make your life miserable too."
"You wouldn't try to blindfold me, you know I wouldn't hit the target," you argued. "I can barely hit it with my eyes open."
Kate removed another arrow from her quiver, holding it up with a challenging stance toward Clint. "Well? You gonna make this actually hard? Or are you giving up?"
"Just turn around and shoot the damn arrow," he groaned. She raised her bow once again, lining up her shot. Swiftly, Clint stepped up behind her and prodded her sides with his index fingers. "Ha-hehey!" she yelped, doubling over slightly and lowering her bow.
"How's this for 'childish' hmm?" He continued to poke and prod at her sides at random, much like a younger brother might do to their older sibling. Kate giggled, twisting to avoid his ticklish pokes. "Are you giving up now, Kate?"
"Noho! Just - ack - juhust stop tickling me-hee!" she pleaded. He ceased as requested, waiting patiently with his arms folded for her to reposition herself to shoot. "I can totally still hit the target."
"Oh yeah? Even when you're dancing around like that?" he asked facetiously, throwing in a poke to her stomach. She swatted his hand away with a sharp look.
"Just watch me."
Kate eyed Clint warily as she shifted back into her shooting stance. He flashed her a smirk, slowly moving his hand toward her side with wiggling fingers. She bit down on her bottom lip to maintain her focus, releasing the arrow the moment his fingertips connected with her side. Admittedly, the shot was slightly off kilter, but she still managed to hit the very edge of the bullseye.
"HA!" she exclaimed triumphantly, turning to accept a high-five from you. "Nice try, old man!" she added with a smirk in Clint's direction.
"Alright, alright... you win this round," he admitted in defeat, grinning fondly at the two of you. "Don't think I haven't forgotten about you," he added, pointing at you accusingly.
"Me?? On the list of 'unsafe things to do,' I think trying to distract me while shooting an arrow is probably towards the top."
Clint responded by sliding your quiver off your shoulder and tossing it aside, kneeling to dig around in his bag while you protested. He removed an arrow from inside, handing it to you with a haughty smirk.
"Wha- you're gonna make me train with a Nerf arrow??"
"Excuse me - that is not a Nerf arrow," he responded in offense. "It's called a training arrow - I built them to have the same specs as any standard arrow, but with a foam arrowhead for safety."
"You've let me shoot with real arrows since I started - where were you keeping these then?"
Clint shrugged. "I trusted you enough not to shoot anyone's eye out with a real one. And I was right, wasn't I?"
"So how am I supposed to know where I hit the target with this? It'll bounce right off."
"You've still got work to do on your form." He winked cheekily. "When you show me you've perfected your shooting stance, I'll give you the real arrows back."
"My form is just fine."
"Then you should have no problem demonstrating it for me." He motioned toward you in a silent request to demonstrate. You shot him a wary look in return.
"What are you up to?"
"You two wanted a challenge today. And this 'childish old man' is more than happy to bring it."
You let out a huff of air through your nose, pretending to be annoyed rather than hyperaware of where Clint stood behind you as you lifted your bow and docked the foam-tipped arrow. Carefully, you pulled the string back and held your stance, waiting a few moments for his critique.
"Well? How's this?" you asked after the silence lingered a bit too long for your liking.
"Stance is good... shoulders are straight... that damn elbow is really getting you, though." He poked your bent elbow for reference.
"I told you, it just goes that way! I can't help it!"
"Oh no?" Clint reached out and wriggled his fingertips into the exposed space under your arm. With a shriek of protest, you instinctively lowered it to protect the vulnerable spot. "There you go! Keep it just like that."
"You're the wohorst!" you griped, readjusting yourself into a more firm stance. Seconds later, his fingers were dusting underneath your arm once again. "CLIHINT!"
"Keep that elbow down. How many times do I have to tell you?" There was an air of amusement in his tone that made you turn and stick your tongue out at him. "Ah-ah! I said keep it down!"
"Don't- AHARGH!" You lowered both arms as he dug into your uppermost ribs this time, allowing the string of the bow to loosen. "You are insufferable!"
"I'm insufferable??" His hands latched onto your ribs from behind, digging into the crevices without relenting this time. You burst into a fit of laughter, allowing the bow and arrow to fall to the ground beside you as you re-targeted your focus toward blocking the ticklish sensation. "When the kids can't follow simple directions, they get punished - maybe that's what you need."
"CLIHIHINT! Plehease!!" you pleaded helplessly as your knees buckled beneath you. He followed you down as you sank to the ground, fingers darting randomly up and down your sides to keep you squirming.
"You gonna keep that elbow down now?" he urged teasingly.
"YEHEHES! Oh my gohod!" You toppled over sideways as he scribbled into your belly, breathing a sigh of relief when he finally ceased his attack. "I-hi... I feel bahad for your kids, dahamn!"
"Oh, they're not nearly as ticklish as you are," he jested, earning a glare. "Come on - let's shoot one more real one. Show me what you've got."
He held out a hand to help you up, which you accepted. Once on your feet, you scooped up your bow and turned toward the target. Clint placed a regular arrow in your hand.
"No tickling this time - I have a sharp object now," you chastised with a grin.
"Wouldn't dream of it. Now - get into your stance, elbow down, and shoot."
You breathed in and out slowly, refocusing on the target. Carefully, you raised the bow and docked your arrow, this time ensuring your elbow remained level with your shoulder despite how foreign it still felt. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw Clint nod with approval.
"Let it fly," he instructed.
It struck dead center.
"Holy hell, that was amazing!!" Kate praised, throwing her arms around you in a congratulatory hug. You were beaming ear to ear as you returned her hug, glancing at Clint over her shoulder. He had a fatherly smile lighting up his face.
"Told you - it was all in that rogue elbow," he boasted.
"Yeah, yeah..." You rolled your eyes, unable to wipe the smile off your face. "All this archery has made me hungry."
"Oh? You cookin'?" Clint teased as he started to head toward the house.
"Nah, I thought Kate could cook."
"Hey! Why should I have to cook?"
"Because you're better at it than he is."
"Don't push your luck," Clint warned, prodding your side and chuckling at your squeak. "I think I'm gonna call you 'mouse' after that noise."
"I'm still gonna call you 'old man' then."
All of you knew very well that Laura would already have dinner on the table for the family plus you and Kate by the time you got inside. She was kind like that. But you'd never pass up an opportunity to banter with your mentor.

After about a week or working on it on-and-off, here’s all the original female survivors in Dead By Daylight, finally done.
I drew this as kind of a challenge for myself to push myself with different shapes and features on characters and it was SO much fun, I learned a lot and discovered a lot about my skill!
I also learned a lot of dbd characters have brown eyes, and only two wear glasses!

Ho Ho Ho
Merry Christmas Mother
switch!yelena switch!kate
It had been couple months since they started dating. They were still in the "honeymoon phase" so to speak. Yelena and Kate spooned on the bed in Kate's apartment under the covers, this was the softest Kate had ever seen her gf and she's not complaining. Kate rubbed the back of Yelena's head as Yelena snuggled in closer. There was one thing however.....
Yelena's breath on her neck tickled, and not that was a bad thing, it just that Kate doesn't want to squirm too much and wake the blonde widow. Yelena stirred awake at the archer's movement.
"Kate Bishop, what is wrong?" Yelena asked
Yelena noticed Kate's shoulders scrunching as her nose and breath caused a ticklish reaction. Yelena smirked however Kate couldn't see it. Yelena skittered her nails down Kate's back causing Kate to jump a little with the sudden touch. The archer giggled and covered her face on the widow's shoulder.Yelena then shot her hands up Kate's shirt and scribbled her nails on Kate's sides and Kate was yet to pull away but Yelena knew she wouldn't all the newfound hawkeye did was throw her head back and giggle her head off.Kate decided to get her own revenge by landing tickly kisses and nibbles in the crook of Yelena's neck prompting snorty giggles from the assasin.Yelena found that she laughed more freely with Kate and had no need to hide it.
"Kahahate Bishohop stohop" demanded Yelena
"Youhuhu fihirst" Kate jabbed back.
And because of their competetive nature, the rolled around and tickled eachother until they both felt exhausted

“Hey Natasha, have you seen Kate around recently? I’ve been less annoyed than usual, which means that she has spent less time around me,” Yelena asked, half-serious half-jokingly as she walked up to her sister. It was late in the afternoon, and there was once again no sign from the young archer, who would usually spend her time lounging in the common room. It was not the first time Yelena had noticed her absence that week, and while she would never admit it out loud, there was a part of her slightly worried that something was wrong with Kate. Natasha scoffed and playfully glared at the  blonde.
“I saw her this morning, but I think she’s in her room right now. She talked about having bought several books in one go, so I think she’s reading them. Why?” The older sister questioned, raising one brow at Yelena. The blonde merely shook her head with a shrug.
“No reason,” She said, yet didn’t look Natasha in the eyes.
“... Do you miss her?” Natasha asked, a smile appearing on her face. Almost immediately Yelena shook her head and folded her arms with a frown.
“I do not miss her! Why would you ever think that?” Yelena huffed, yet couldn’t hide the blush creeping onto her cheeks as her sister looked at her for a few long seconds. Natasha’s smile grew wider as she noticed the blush, knowing enough.
“You do miss her,” Natasha chuckled, earning a groan from her sister. No matter how hard Yelena tried to hide something from her, her sister could always tell when she was lying. It was infuriating.
“Ugh, you’re the worst,” She said, turning on her heels to leave the kitchen, and Natasha, behind her. She heard her sister laugh and yell ‘say hi from me!’, which earned another loud groan, as she made her way to Kate’s room. And while she tried to ignore it, she couldn’t deny the excitement she was feeling as she thought of seeing Kate again.
Kate was currently sitting on her couch in her apartment, surrounded by at least five books - minus the one in her hands - with her tongue slightly sticking out of her mouth. After a brief conversation with Peter the other day (he had shown her a few books from his collection, and she had been enchanted to say the least) Kate had decided that she officially didn’t have enough books. While her mother had always tried to ignore or discourage her love for fantasy when she was younger, there was literally nobody stopping her now. So, now she had about a dozen new books laying around in her room, and she couldn’t wait to read them all.
A sudden knock on the door made her look up in surprise, as she didn’t expect company. Maybe it was Natasha checking up on her if she was still alive, or Peter to see the new books she had bought.
“Door is open!” She said, and while she definitely tried her hardest, she was unable to hide her surprised expression when Yelena stepped into her room. She had not expected the younger Widow to visit her.
“So here’s where you’ve been hiding, huh?” The blonde said with a smirk, closing the door behind her. Kate immediately sat up on the couch, remembering the page she was at before closing the book to put it aside.
“Hey Yelena! Sorry, I didn’t expect to see you today,” She said with a chuckle, a wide smile appearing on her face as she looked at her friend.
“Well I noticed it was remarkably quieter in the living room, which meant you weren’t there. And what kind of friend would I be if I didn’t annoy you on a daily basis,” Yelena said with a smile, yet Kate could sense some kind of awkwardness behind it. The assassin was still testing the boundaries of their friendship, and while Yelena found it a very weird concept that she could go see Kate whenever she wanted, Kate couldn’t be happier. She knew that Yelena would have never come to her if it wasn’t necessary a year ago, so for her to show up in her room without a specific reason was proof that they were friends.
Kate smiled widely at Yelena and patted the couch next to her, an invitation to sit with her. The blonde, seemingly relieved, smirked and made her way towards the couch, yet stopped as she noticed all the books laying on the ground.
“Kate Bishop, did you rob a library or what?” She asked with a raised brow as she looked at the younger girl. The archer let out a giggle and looked somewhat embarrassed at the messy floor.
“Ah, it definitely looks that way, huh? No, I went shopping a few days ago, and I got around fifteen new books and comics! Wanna see?” She asked, sounding a little uncertain herself now. She had no idea if Yelena would be interested in her books in the first place.
“Wait wait, if you went shopping for comics, that means…” Yelena said, quickly glancing around the room for a moment. “Aha! I knew it!” She said triumphantly, reaching down to pick up a collection of Hawkeye comics.
“No! Give them back!” Kate cried out, a blush of embarrassment covering her cheeks as she lunged for Yelena, who heartily laughed at the archer’s reaction.
“And you dare say you don’t have a crush on Barton? Oh Katie, you’re such a liar!” Yelena teased, easily keeping Kate at bay by placing a hand on one of her shoulders. However, over time Kate had learned several tricks from Natasha, meant to use when Yelena was being a turd. She reached forward - her arms were still longer than Yelena’s - and briefly tickled under the blonde’s arm. While the Widow shrieked and curled in on herself, the brunette leaned forward and snatched the comics from her other hand.
“There! And now they stay here!” Kate said with a nervous giggle, trying not to shrink at the glare Yelena was giving her.
“You did not just do that… oh you’re gonna regret that, Katie,” Yelena playfully warned, earning another giggle from the brunette. However, her attention quickly shifted to one of the comics on the couch next to Kate. It was a comic about Black Widow. She reached out and carefully grabbed it, finding it odd and fascinating to see a comic about her sister.
“It’s the first of many, and I have a few more somewhere in my room! You can read it, if you want,” Kate suggested with a warm smile, earning a gentle yet firm nod from her friend. Kate’s heart swelled at the thought of Yelena reading comics with her in her room, realizing that she had reached the next step in their friendship.
Yelena sat herself down in front of the couch, her back leaning against it, as she started reading the comic, while Kate reached for one of her Hawkeye comics. The two women sat in a comfortable silence for a while, with the occasional ‘ha, such a poser’ or chuckle coming from the blonde, until Kate shifted position. Her right leg was stretched out, and the other one folded underneath, her bare foot now facing Yelena. The Widow noticed right away and curled up her nose, looking up at the brunette.
“Kate Bishop, do you HAVE to aim your stinky foot at me?” She basically whined, making Kate look up at her with a laugh. Yelena could be so dramatic over small things, and she found it rather cute.
“Well, if you don’t like the view, you can always move,” She teased, going back to reading her comic. Yelena huffed and reached out with her hand, running a single nail up her foot.
“I don’t see how I have to move becau–” She said, yet was interrupted by Kate’s loud, giggly squeal. The two women looked at each other, Kate with a nervous expression and Yelena with a rather mischievous one. The brunette immediately noticed the dangerous glint in her eyes and tried to shift position, yet Yelena was quicker and had already latched a hand around Kate’s ankle.
“Well if you don’t want to move by yourself, then I’ll have to make you move, right?” Yelena said with a teasing grin, lightly scratching her nails against the bottom of her foot. Kate immediately burst into giggles and reached for Yelena’s hands, her comic dropping to the side.
“Y-Yelena nohoho! NO! No wahahahait! Aahahaha that tihihihihickles!!” The brunette giggled loudly, earning an eye-roll and chuckle from Yelena.
“Yeah duh that’s the point, you dumbass,” She said with an even wider grin, moving her nails up to scratch under her toes, sending Kate straight into hysterics. The brunette rolled side to side, giggling her head off as she pushed against Yelena’s shoulder.
“Yelehehehehhena plehehehhehehease!! I cahahahahahahahahan’t!!” She squealed, curling her toes tightly since she was unable to handle the gentle tickles. Yelena cackled and started to firmly scratch at her helpless heel.
“Keep reading that comic of yours, Katie, go on, don’t mind me,” Yelena teased, letting out a giggle herself as she heard Kate’s contagious laughter. The archer’s laughter had gone from giggles to deep-belly laughs as a reaction to the heel tickles, laying herself flat on her back while covering her face with one arm. Yelena took this opportunity to jump up onto the couch, straddling the younger girl’s hips.
“That’ll teach you,” Yelena grinned, shaking her nails into Kate’s stomach. Said brunette let out a shriek of laughter, both arms immediately lowering to cover her stomach.
“NOHOHHOHO! NOHOHO LEHEHENA STAHAHAHAHAP!” Kate cried out, pushing half-heartedly against the blonde’s buff arm to make her stop. She really hoped Yelena wouldn’t mind the nickname, since it had slipped out before she could stop herself, but surviving the tickle attack was a bigger priority now. The Widow chuckled at her attempt, slipping one hand under Kate’s shirt to tickle her bare stomach. The brunette’s eyes nearly bugged out at that, causing her to arch her back.
“Awww, does it tickle too much for poor Katie?” The blonde teased, using both hands to knead up and down her sides and ribs, occasionally giving her stomach a few scratches. Kate was positively dying.
“AahahahahaAAAHAHAHA!! Lehehehehhena why aahahare you dohohohoing thihihihis?!” Kate shrieked with laughter, and for some reason Yelena felt caught off guard by the question. She pulled her hands away and realized what position they were in, and how easy it was to let her guard down when she was messing with the younger girl. Kate noticed Yelena’s expression and leaned onto her elbows to sit up, slowly catching her breath.
“I thought you… nevermind. Sorry if I overstepped, I guess I just missed messing with you,” Yelena said, embarrassed as she started to shift off of Kate. While she was usually very confident in everything she did, including messing with Kate, the sudden question had surprised her. She had never had a friend like Kate before - someone else than Natasha who she felt at ease with - and while Yelena had heavily disliked her before, now she was at the point where she truly cared for Kate. Natasha would always be her number one person in the world, yet she would be lying if she said she wasn't afraid to be rejected by the brunette. However, before she could get off, or overthink any further, Kate had grabbed one of her arms and gently held onto it, making the blonde look down at her friend.
“Hey, I didn’t mean it that way Yelena… I don’t mind if you tickle me, I was just surprised since you usually have a specific reason for it,” She assured with her typical smile, a blush covering her cheeks as she looked up at the older girl. When Yelena merely stared at her, Kate flashed her another smile.
“You didn’t overstep, Lena, I like being tickled by my friends,” The brunette said, looking away for a moment as she admitted the embarrassing truth. “And I’m having fun right now, with you,” She added. The Widow blushed at that last comment, her hands shooting down to squeeze at Kate’s ribs.
“Kate Bishop, you dare make me feel embarrassed AND make me blush?” She growled, yet there was a smirk visible on her face. Kate let out another shriek in surprise and immediately burst into giggles again, feeling relieved. She had feared for Yelena’s reaction, yet it seemed there was nothing to worry about.
“I’m sohohhhorry! Nohohhoohohhooho!” She giggled loudly when Yelena’s hands found her stomach again, yet this time she didn’t even bother to stop those hands. She merely covered her face with her arms to hide her blush.
“Too late for apologies now, Katie. Say your prayers, I’m gonna tickle you to death,” Yelena teased, back to her confident self as she continued to tickle the poor archer to pieces. Kate rolled side to side on the couch, letting her laughter flow freely as she realized Yelena wasn’t gonna stop anytime soon. And neither of them really minded, since they both were having fun.
Natasha put down the book she had just finished and looked at the clock. It had been several hours since Yelena had asked where Kate was, and while she could have sworn she’d heard Kate’s loud laughter at one point, there hadn’t been a sound from either of them in a long while. While Natasha knew that Yelena probably wouldn’t have murdered Kate, there was no harm in checking up on them, right? Right!
The redhead made her way to Kate’s apartment, knocking on the door a few times. There was a familiar ‘door’s open!’ coming from inside, which made her chuckle and open the door. What she saw inside was far from what she had expected, however. Kate was laying down on her stomach on the ground, reading one of her new books, with Yelena laying across Kate’s back, seemingly reading one of Kate’s comics.
“Tasha!” Kate cried out, a wide smile spreading on her face as she saw her friend. Yelena let out a chuckle as she looked up at her sister, raising an eyebrow.
“Don’t worry Poser, I didn’t kill your precious puppy,” She said, earning a huff from her sister. Yelena knew her a little too well.
“Actually,” Natasha said, looking at the two of them with a smile. “I was about to order food, should I order anything for you two as well?” She questioned. Both women immediately nodded excitedly at the mention of food.
“Pizza!”
“Mac & cheese!”
Natasha couldn’t hold back her laugh at the two simultaneous shouts, shaking her head as she looked at the X-shaped pile of idiots on the floor. She truly loved them to death.
“Alright, I’ll go order now, food should be here in around an hour,” Natasha said to them, before realizing that neither of them were listening anymore.
“Lena, you eat mac & cheese every day, you can go without it for one day,” Kate said with a roll of her eyes. However, she quickly relented when she saw one of Yelena’s hands move towards her side. After all, she was still trapped underneath the blonde.
“Kate Bishop–”
“Okay okay, mac & cheese is fine!” Kate cried out, bursting into giggles when the Widow squeezed her side.
Natasha shook her head as she closed the door behind her, listening to Kate’s laughter as she made her way to the living room again. For the longest time she had been worried for both Kate and Yelena, since Kate had been lonely for such a long time and Yelena had had so much trouble opening up to people. And now, with them being close friends, it seemed like she finally didn’t have to worry at all.
