Throughout the years, I’ve realized the power of vision boards. Creating them has become a crucial step for manifesting the life I want for myself.

Here are some tips for your vision board:

Make it inspirational

Don’t over do it with the pictures. Better 10 inspirational pictures than 100 meaningless ones.

Only put goals you are aiming for that particular year. I believe vision boards have more impact when they are more intentional

Make it authentic. Vision boards are very personal, make one that is authentic up yourself ♡

So chapter 1052 says there are pirates, plural, who've been dubbed Empire's since 2 just fell (Big Mom and Kaido). So there are the current other emporiers Shanks and Blackbeard, and Luffy is basically confirmed so the 4th Emporer is still up for debate. Rn people are saying either Law or Kidd will get the title BUT doesn't this situation remind you of something?

hmm yeah! it's kind of more of a figure of speech than anything lol— i don't think there's like, a literal magical Blood Curse physically destroying anything— but it's more of a thematic curse. there's something to be said about how the red wedding is kind of the Definitional Asoiaf Moment right. asos is a book very much concerned with breaking taboos and natural laws-- breaking of guest right at the red wedding and at craster's, the kingslaying of robb and joffrey, tyrion's kinslaying of his father, bran's possession of hodor (maybe more that i'm forgetting). but the red wedding is like. The moment. it's such a moment, in fact, that it ripples backwards in time through asoiaf's prismatic dreamscape. theon sees the red wedding months before it happens in his dreams, dany sees it at the house of the undying, jon and bran (iirc?) both see it in their dreams as/after it happens. it's such a genuinely heinous act against nature it bleeds through time. bleeds through the book itself!

tywin orchestrates it to win the war "cheaply" but the rent comes due in affc, a book about examining the consequences of a world whose enforced codes and ideals (the chivalric paradigm itself!) are so deeply unnatural, so contradictory and dissonant that they are destined for collapse. where asos is about the breaching of natural law, affc is about unnatural law being laid bare as a result (why affc feels more thematically concerned with gender, for example). tywin is not a figure of perfection but just a rotting body. more rotten than usual. they keep telling me that house lannister won this war! all those honour codes and norms and stories are only hiding deeply entrenched violences (eg. if gender norms are so natural why must they be enforced through violence?). beneath the golden sheen of chivalry is just a nightmare of blood. the red wedding is so foul an act that it can't be covered up in shrouds like rhaegar's children were. the emperor has no clothes now! you cannot look away from it, look without seeing, or go away inside forever. the curse is blood begetting blood, like lady stoneheart's wraith, who can think of nothing but feeding on death. it's something that begs to be witnessed so powerfully that it rips through the psychic realm. yeah alright i read this over and it makes no sense and im talking about like four completely different things ah well Siri send post

Imagine the opening scene of Fantastic Beasts 4 being something like this:

The camera goes up and now I imagine most of us would like to see the first ever time Albus and Gellert laid eyes on each other, so we see one of them reading some book (maybe Gellert researching next to the Peverell grave?) and the other accidentally gets near. They look at each other, they are almost immediately interested in the other stranger. Enter a well written first ever conversation between the two and we see something click immediately.

Then we might switch to the current time with darker and colder colours, carry on with the storyline and every few scenes we could get more flashbacks, at first all cheerful, about the two falling in love happily and all the way throughout the more tragic part of their backstory.

This is just the way I like to imagine it and kinda wish they do it 🥺

A certain element that forges the foundation of his spirit is this new opened path. It's solely not the opportunity to let the stars and the expanding universe be both a guide and goal, rather, the important lesson of never letting his heart truly close is a shining force that carries strength in his steps. To the version of himself that he created, it'd simply serve to piss him off. An anger that intends to never fall towards where idle and errant thoughts hold a weak longing to tread.

By opening himself to the world, in it's shining glories, it's good faith, it's horrors, fairness and unfairness, it's a prize that's aligned as a price. For the unknown isn't just the worlds traversed, it's the hearts of the living. To understand those depths through the few he comes across, and in kind, to reflect upon himself. Forging unforgettable bonds that leaves him more than just a memory for the few that matter across each world. Not to mention, ensuring that the connections between countless friends, countless foes and the between never goes lost.

Caelus could never truly get if this makes him a sucker for pain or someone who just gives too much of a damn. In truth, he feels like it'll be a long time before he understands any modicum of an answer.

Is it truly worth the pain he puts himself through? Constantly touching the experiences that border to madness, to see calamity intimately instead of the safer ground of legends? Herta's experiments, people he's come to meet, there's many lens that Caelus received to see just how grim this universe can truly be.

Yet, here he is molding a valuable strength. For within these grim depths does he find the unbalanced difference. How in the face of his decisions, time and time again, it decides to bring out the best of him.

An important note of the Trailblazing expedition is to also discover the depths of himself. It doesn't operate by the means of the past, rather, exactly who is he through the choices he makes?

In the late 17th and early 18th century, pirates ruled the seven seas. Muggle pirates had plenty of enemies, but pirates who came from the Wizarding World had even more. They not only had to contend with the likes of magical creatures like sea serpents and ancient Dark curses beyond imagination, but they also had to deal with the British Ministry of Magic’s Chief Obliviator, Morgan Blay, who was determined to hunt down and transport all of them back to Europe to face the Wizengamot for violating the International Statute of Secrecy.

However much of a stickler for law and order Blay is and no matter how easy it is to make fun of his fastidious, rigid nature, however, he’s no idle threat to piracy. At just 26 years of age, Blay is an expert at both non-verbal and wandless magic, and his Charms and Transfiguration are so advanced that he has been able to create perfect illusions around his own wand and other such magical things so that to Muggle eyes, they resemble perfectly normal things like swords (for wands) or seals (for mermaids). He even invented a spell of his own -- Repello Muggletum -- which wards Muggles off from magic-heavy areas and deters them from investigating further. (His alma mater, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, has gotten very good use out of this particular spell.) His dueling skill is only slightly sharper than his talent with a Muggle pistol and cutlass, which in turn is just as sharp as his wit -- many an opponent of Blay’s has gotten a good verbal lashing alongside a physical one. This isn’t even touching on his encyclopedic knowledge of sailing, astronomy, navigation, and Muggle technology of the era like pistols, cannons, and telescopes. All of these talents serve him well as he works undercover as part of the British Muggle Navy, secretly capturing magical pirates alongside non-magical ones while captaining an entire crew of Muggle sailors, who idolize and respect their leader for his courage, intelligence, dedication, and moral fiber. It’s a fact that makes Blay all the more protective of his men and of Muggles in general, considering the deception he’s had to deal in, just interacting with them.

Truly, if any magic users on the high seas in the Golden Age of Piracy wish to retain their freedom, they will want to stay one step ahead of the likes of Captain Morgan Blay.
