While I don't have anons passion, I totally agree that it's annoying how people are trying to find the lamest excuses to discredit jikooks relationship.

Whether you think it's friendship or something more, the fact is jikook didn't have to make a travel show. That's something they chose to do. They didn't have to format it to having the two of them in every episode when they both are, in fact, probably the members who are the most busy right now. Technically they're not even the most popular pairing available even at this moment. They could've taken this idea and used it for different pairings of all the remaining members. One episode with jikook, another with taekook and vmin and minimoni etc. Trying to work around Jimin who's clearly releasing more music and JK who is still doing promo for Golden seems to be the most inconvenient option for the company. And yet here they are in yet another project together which you lot are sure the company is forcing them to do.

Consider the vast amount of hate that Bighit receives everytime jikook do anything - if chapter two has taught me anything it's that Bighit knows exactly what's going on in the fandom at anytime. Do you think they are unaware of the power behind taekook? Everyone is 100% convinced that taekook and Jihope are the true friendships in BTS, and taekook is vastly more popular as a pairing because Jimin and JKs individual popularity does not translate into their pairings popularity. All this is supposedly true and known but here we are in 2023 with another jikook project.

Well everyone, either 2+2=fish, or one of the assumptions here is incorrect. Everyone can make their own calculations but mine is that jikook are and have always been closer than everyone's assumptions. You can take that in a romantic or non-romantic sense but it works either way.

Yes! Exactly.

It's ridiculous that this ONE trip has caused everyone to lose their mind.

Multiple times per day, we get someone trying to invalidate any sort of joy some of us get because jikook interact.

Every photo, movement, story is analyzed...

But in the end, jikook is still in Japan filming and spending time together. Something they didn't have to do.

They knew the reactions people, of course, but they still did it because they don't care.

So if all the haters could shut up, that would be great :)

How do you feel about people OT7fiying what the members say about specific members? Idk if you know but there’s a post on the bird app receiving lots of support for ot7fying something Jk specifically said to/about Jm. A lot of “OT7”’s are saying it’s not a big deal and making it a shipping issue when it’s not, but guarantee if someone were to make “Friends” that’s about vmin into an all members thing they would be up in arms. Idk I just don’t understand why people can’t see each member as individuals who have their own individual relationships with other members. OT7 will always be good but not when others are constantly ignoring the different and varied relationships between each member. It’s giving very much erasure.

Have you noticed that this happens almost exclusively to Jimin? And usually when it's Jungkook saying it?

It's giving erasure because it could not be more erasure if it was the band. And even they're fully 50% gay (thank you Andy Bell). It might be somewhat incorrect, socially, but it's not wrong, exactly. So erasure, it is giving, because erasure is what it is. But I really have a hard time understanding how THIS can be erased:
