Is there a fashion historian somewhere out there who is willing to DM me every sewing pattern and fashion magazine and photo of clothing and hairstyles and makeup they can find from the year 1930, because every time I try to find references FOR SPECIFICALLY THE YEAR 1930, I get references for the 1930s, WHICH I DO NOT NEED.
I’m looking for women’s, men’s, teen, and child fashion from the year 1930, ideally from the east coast of America released before the Winter of 1930, any help would be appreciated.
Also please please PLEASE if you have any online sources you’d think would help please comment or DM them to me I am desperate.

Israel isolated internationally: not even the US supported it in the UN Security Council, which demanded an “immediate ceasefire”
With the United States abstaining, the UN Security Council approved for the first time in five months after the Palestinian genocide in Gaza began a resolution calling for an “immediate ceasefire.” The resolution adopted amid applause by 14 votes in favor and one abstention further isolates Israel, which canceled the visit of a delegation that was supposed to travel to Washington and considered that the abstention of the United States, its main ally, harms its offensive against Hamas. The reasons for the change are due not to compassion for the Palestinian people but to the harmful effect of this issue on Joe Biden's presidential polls.

The approved resolution underscores “the urgent need to expand the flow of humanitarian assistance and strengthen the protection of civilians in the Gaza Strip,” and calls on Israel to “lift all barriers to this humanitarian aid.” The proposal was presented by the ten non-permanent members of the Council, among which there are African, Asian, European and Latin American countries.
The figures of the ongoing genocide already reflect more than 32,200 deaths in the Gaza Strip and famine already threatens a large part of its 2.4 million inhabitants.
“For five months the Palestinian people have been suffering terribly. That bloodbath has gone on for too long. We have an obligation to finish it. Finally, the Security Council assumes its responsibilities,” declared the Algerian ambassador, Amar Bendjama. This vote “must be a turning point. It must mark the end of this avalanche of atrocities against our people,” added Palestinian ambassador Riyad Mansour in a broken voice, calling it a “historic day.”
Although the resolution adopted on Monday focuses on a temporary ceasefire during Ramadan, several countries, including France, insisted on the need to stop the fighting in the longer term. The Council must also “work for the recovery and stabilization of Gaza” and “relaunch a political process aimed at establishing a two-state solution,” insisted French Ambassador Nicolas de Rivière, congratulating the Council for breaking its “silence.” deafening".
Many members of the Council, as well as the UN spokesperson, have insisted that this text is law, but the Americans argue that “it is not binding.” Indeed, although Council resolutions are binding, affected States often ignore them. In a message posted on his X account, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said that the resolution must be implemented because “failure would be unforgivable.”
A statement from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office stressed that the UN vote is "a clear setback compared to the United States' consistent position in the Security Council since the start of the war." From Washington, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said: “We have no moral right to stop the war while there are still hostages in Gaza.”
“We will operate against Hamas everywhere, even in places where we have not yet been,” Gallant added, referring without mentioning it to the Rafah enclave, where more than a million people take refuge. Although the high-level delegation's trip was cancelled, a visit this week by Minister Yoav Gallant remains on schedule. National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said Gallant will meet with National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan on Tuesday.
Hamas, in power in Gaza, welcomed the approval of the resolution and expressed its “willingness to begin a process of exchanging” hostages in its hands for Palestinian prisoners detained in Israel. The resolution was also welcomed by the Palestinian Authority, which partially administers the occupied West Bank.
For his part, former President of the United States, Donald Trump, asked the Israeli government to end the war in Gaza, despite supporting its right to self-defense, to achieve "peace and a normal life for Israel and the rest." . “I would have done the same in his case,” Trump said in an interview with Israel Hayom, the most widely read Hebrew-language newspaper in the country. “But Israel must end the fighting. We cannot allow this to continue. We have to reach peace,” added the current Republican presidential candidate. Trump also warned that the images that are circulating around the world of Israeli bombings against the Strip could harm Israel in the international sphere. “They have to be very careful because they are losing a lot of support from a lot of the world.”
“Those bombs thrown at the buildings in Gaza are being seen by the whole world. I would have liked to call Netanyahu and tell him not to do it. “It is a very bad image for them,” Trump warned.

hello hello just wanted to ask you a question about your gotham! i was wondering what the general view on metahumans are in your version?
since so many of gothams menaces are metas, how does that affect the other (nonviolent nonsupervillainy just trying to get thru the day and pay my rent) metas living in the city? I mean there’s got to be a bunch other than pg right, gothams a big city.
purposefully Not asking about Jason and co bc I know that’s probably a spoiler 😭😭 but I’d just love to know how the other metahumans fare in gotham (and if they’re as lucky to not be noticed as pg)
thank you for continuing to share your works with us, it’s so inspiring to me!
Not my first thought being Gothamites would probably want to eat them to gain their powers or something.
Although, to be honest, my actual answer isn't that far off. Most Gothamites' reaction to a nonsupervillain meta would fall into one of two categories:
1. Maintain a "Stay out my business and I'll stay out of yours" attitude. (Lydia would fall under this. If she ever finds out about PG's powers, she'll probably just say that it was smart to keep PG's powers hidden and then never mention it again.)
2. People who'll want to profit out of them somehow. Either through encouraging them to use their powers for crimes or profiting off of them through...less than consensual means. I wouldn't be surprised if there's an actual black market selling meta human parts. Either selling them to researchers or to people who think that they'll somehow become metas themselves if they obtain said parts.
(Sam and Ant fall into a secret third category who quietly believe all metas must be superheroes. Lowkey have a hero worship thing going on.)

Who knew The Sun could love The Star
Nico loved the Sun
He basked in it’s presence all day
He talked to the Sun
He played under the Sun’s watch
The Sun knew everything about him
Then he moved to America
The Sun seemed to have changed personalities
but he didn’t care
It was still the Sun
Then he only saw the Sun when moving schools
He watched it in the window during lectures
and talked to it during recess
Nico loved the Sun so much
Then he thought he met the Sun
The Sun drove them to Camp Half-Blood
The winter sky there hid the Sun’s remains
Any streak of sunlight was savored
One day he got hurt
He was comforted yet again by the Sun
The son of the Sun at least
But his shine seemed a little brighter
The Sun was not there to comfort him
He still strolled in peace with the Ocean though
Then the Ocean threw a forceful wave at him
The Sun streaked the sky less dim than usual then
The Sun shone down on a part of the Big House
but Nico ran toward the woods
The wave was the Ocean’s fault
He never wanted to see the Ocean again
He met his father
There was no Sun there
Was it wrong to love the Sun
if it were so far away from his territory?
The day the Ocean had nearly killed him
He decided he’d loved the Ocean
The Sun had never to tried
to love him like this
He forgave the Ocean
for he now loved the Ocean for reasons
Unexplainable
Nico convinced his father to help the Ocean
The Sun was beating down at them that day
It was inappropriate of the Sun to be so bright
on such a day of death and sacrifices
He disliked the Sun
He went to his house
to find a Gemstone in the fields of bored dead
The Gemstone was an otherworldly sister
Nico and his father took the Gemstone her world
Where the Sun was excited to meet her
He decided to live and learn about his Gemstone
He couldn’t help but call the Gemstone
his Skull sometimes though
The Sun wasn’t happy about Nico’s
love for the Ocean
Nico’s stubborn loyalty to the Sun
made him agree
but the Sun wasn’t the only reason
he hated loving the Ocean
Darkness taught him to hate the Sun
after 5 days without the Sun saving him
Angry Love forced Nico to confess to himself
that he loved the Ocean more than he wanted
The Sun was never there
He arrived back at Camp Half-Blood
The Sun’s gaze shifted in and out of the clouds
switching who it watched
It rarely was Nico
Nico hated the Sun for not comforting him anymore
He was reunited with the son of the Sun
He didn’t want anything to do with the Sun’s
children
But covered in darkness could work
Not where he could get caught by the Sun though
Nico worked with the son begrudgingly
Maybe he even secretly liked it a little
Since he no longer loved the Ocean
The Small Sun watched him kill
and he didn’t seem to mind
After confessing to the Ocean
the Small Sun called him over
3 days of Small Sun
3 days of Healing
3 days of being shown care
He talked with the Small Sun daily
Laughing with eachother
Chasing each other
Sunshine took care of him
Sunshine looked after Nico
Made sure he ate
slept and drank water
Nico was fascinated by his commitment
He started to hang out with Sunshine
After his shifts in the infirmary
Even during he helped Sunshine
And before when they ate together
Sunshine taught him things
to swim, to read, to do paperwork, to keep healthy
to Love
Solace loves him
Comfort loves him
Sunshine loves him
Small Sun loves him
The son of the Sun loves him
The Sun loves him
Nico loved the Sun once again
but not his father
Just his Sun
He loves his Sun
Nico learned about his Sun
He learned about his Sun’s
life, love, care, soul, heart, mind, body
He takes part in his Sun’s life
He and his Sun love eachother
He and his Sun care for each other
He explores his Sun’s soul
He holds his Sun’s heart close to his own
He listens to his Sun’s mind
He touches his Sun’s body gently and with affection
He knows his Sun
Gently
Carefully
Intimatly
He wouldn’t have it any other way
He loves his Sun
His Sun loves him
The Star loves his Sun
The Star basks in his Sun’s presence all day
The Star talks to his Sun
The Star plays under his Sun’s watch
His Sun knows everything about The Star
