I just want to reflect how much the Loki show ruined Loki as a character for me and how much disheartened I was with it.
I had always wanted a spinoff on him, which explored him more. And the Loki show did anything but that.
Do you guys remember how Loki was in Infinity War for like 5 minutes, yet Tom Hiddleston was at almost every media interaction the cast had? The same thing happened in the show as well. They used him to market the show, then sidelined him in his own show. I think that was unacceptable, because they used Loki as a bait to promote a character that I held no emotions for.
Sylvie.
The argument that one does not like Sylvie because they “hate a strong female character/a character with complex arcs” is so pathetic. I don’t think I would’ve liked Sylvie even if she had the most elaborate arc in the MCU (which she doesn’t) because it just wasn’t meant to be about her.
I wanted to see Loki’s story, his journey, and if you take this moment to interject with the statement that “she’s Loki too, just different”, then I say that I wanted to see our Loki, the one who was broken when he found out that he was the monster parents told their children about at night, the one who had plethora of iconic dialogues while fighting the avengers, who was killed only for us to realize that he wasn’t.
Everytime I said that we needed a Loki spinoff before it was announced was not because I wanted new characters, it was because I wanted to see more of the character that was already there, very much beloved by the fans. I wanted them to explore his character in a deeper sense and maybe dip a little into mythology as well.
I think Loki was one of those characters that neither needed a love interest nor was ready for one. I don’t ship him with either Sylvie or Mobius, because it feels like neither of them genuinely like Loki for who he is.
Loki had far more compelling things they could have explored like his jotun heritage, his trauma from the time with Thanos and his magic that is the only memory he has of Frigga instead of his love life.
The whole show felt like it was written by someone who wasn’t the least bit interested in Loki and barely looked into him before creating his female counterpart.
It feels like a disrespect for the fans who were connected to Loki on an emotional level.
Why am I saying this now, after like 2 years since the show came out?
I don’t know, after hearing the news about season 2 releasing in October, I just feel so upset. Tired. I hate this show much because it made Loki so irrelevant to me. A sidepiece in his own show. He went around in ugly costumes and all the regal vibes I had from him just disappeared.
I still remember a time when Loki was on the top of my favorite characters, and I loved him so much. I still do, but I’m not sure if I’ll watch the 2nd season and my 13 y/o self would hate me for this.
I’ve gotten detached from his character and I hate myself for it because Loki was someone whom I adored more than anything else in the fandom world.
Loki is that one character who is loved by the fanon but absolutely despised by the canon.

Me who adores both the MCU/The Loki show and has read and loved all the Loki comics watching all the infighting going down 🧍🏻‍♂️
Please tell me I'm not alone. A lot of comics fans are shitting on the show and saying it's mocking the comics and stuff. I genuinely don't understand that (could be the autism, though). They're different universes and different versions of the characters. Of course it's going to be different. The MCU has NEVER been an exact recreation of the comics. Certain things, yeah, but never completely. I have read and own all except for the newest comics. This includes the Ragnarok storyline, Journey into Mystery (the original and the Kid Loki run), Young Avengers, and Agent of Asgard, along with the other necessary reading in between. I read all this a few years back and absolutely loved it all. It's not like I'm not aware of all the things in the comics. It's not that I'm stupid and know nothing. I know the comics and, for me, it actually enhances things. I just think it's neat that they're putting their own unique spin on things in the comics (the TVA itself was in the comics and I've read part of that run as well. Yes, it was very similar to how it is in the show). I find it fun, honestly. I don't understand the twisting to make it seem like the writers are doing this for evil purposes or to erase the comics from existence. I'm sure some people have watched breakdown videos for the episodes and decided to read the referenced comics afterwards. The exact opposite of what's being claimed. Yes, the tags are in chaos and could use some differentiation. I fully agree. Both sides of the fandom need their own space. But I don't think the majority have malicious intent. Yes, there's some shit heads, but there's shit heads in every fandom space that just want to cause problems and piss people off. Honestly, the Loki fandom, especially the Lokius side, have been some of the chillest people I've ever interacted with in fandom spaces.
This stupidly long vent is just to express that all the negativity has really bogged me down and upset me. Even having the tags for negativity towards the show blocked hasn't really helped me much. I know it's still there and it makes me anxious and upset. I know, I know. Touch grass. Blah blah blah. Listen. My personal life is a complete shit show right now. Loki season 2 has been one of my few comforts. Let me be upset that people are insulting something that makes me happy, alright?
(note: this isn't saying people don't have a right to their opinion and that everyone has to like what I like. I'm just stressed about the negativity is all. Also, if any of the tags used on this post aren't correct, please let me know and I'll remove them. I don't want to cause any problems with my venting)

If You Let Me, I Can Make Another World For Us (Loki x Powerful!Reader)
Tumblr media
Summary: Upset with how Loki is being depicted in the current television series, and determined that you can treat him better than most people, you decide to use your powers to bring to life the God of Mischief that you fell in love with.
A/N: The reader has a superpower to bring any image of a character to life, basically turning them into a real person with flesh and blood. And when they are tired of the character, then they can simply "zap" the character back into the image.
Warning: This fic criticizes the Loki series produced by Disney. Please understand this isn't meant to offend anyone who might be a fan of the show. I don't happen to like the show very much, so this is just an imagine based on that.
You pursed your lips, watching the screen with disdain. A woman with half a head of hair kicked a tall man with greasy black hair, and all he could do was whimper like a helpless pussycat.
"Sif... Please, please, no more. Please, I beg you. I'm a horrible person. I get it. I really am. I cut off your hair because I thought it'd be funny. And it's not. Uh... I crave attention... because I'm…" He sighs. "I'm a... I'm a narcissist. And I suppose it's... it's because I'm scared of being alone."
Mewling quim. What was he even talking about? Narcissists believe that they are superior to everyone else and that they deserve all the adoration the world has to offer. They care about no one but themselves. The man - or rather the god - that you had first met a year ago (albeit he was on a screen) struck you as nothing of the sort. Loki gave his life for his brother, he protected Jane Foster - whom he had no relationship to, except for her being Thor's love - during the attacks from Malekith, and he refused to kill his own father after all that he went through in his childhood. How can someone who constantly put others first be considered a narcissist?
Moreover, this man was supposed to be the God of Mischief - he was always meant to create chaos in a lovable way. Why is he apologizing and saying he does it because he craves attention? It made no sense; he should be enjoying his own mischief, not being forced to unnecessarily apologize for it. That's not therapy, that's gaslighting.
Too confused and uninterested to watch any more, you paused the screen and began to ruminate about the Loki you first met. Months ago, you'd seen the first Thor movie, even though you had learned much about him beforehand through friends.
Loki was intelligent, someone who enjoyed reading and possessed a great knowledge of sorcery. He was loyal to his family, especially to his mother Frigga, even after he found out that he was an adopted Frost Giant. Why else would he protect Odin from Laufey, and then kill Laufey to prove that he is a true Asgardian? Loki was someone whom you wanted to see triumph in the end, despite the things he did sometimes. There was something lovable in him, something which you didn't see in this character that had the same name and face as him.
You knew that you could do justice to him. You could do more than this series that pretended to be all about him and did nothing but demean him. You could make him happier, and perhaps even healthier by giving him what a television series had failed to give him.
And you knew just what had to be done.
Immediately, you procured a pixelated image of Prince Loki on the internet, and placed your hand upon it. You were going to show him how much he was loved on Midgard, how he would have no trouble procuring an army of his own (if he truly wanted one), and how he had all the makings of a perfect king, even if he did not believe it himself.
Were you going to make him the king of Midgard or film your own Loki series? Perhaps not, but one can dream. At least you were going to make him feel like a king, and give him the experience of what it would be like to have a loving companion.
"I pray to Frigga, Queen of Odin and the highest of Aesir goddesses. If my adoration for Loki is pure, then bring the Prince of Asgard to me," you whispered, eyes closed.
Beams of yellow and green light flooded your room for a moment, and when they vanished, there stood none other than the younger Prince of Asgard. Tall, majestic, and beautiful in flesh and blood, he stood there wearing golden horns upon his head, green robes with golden armor, and tight pants that left nothing to the imagination.
Tumblr media
"Yes…" you whispered. This was perfect. With baited breath, you looked into his eyes, which were the color of a calm ocean.
He flinched a little, his long fingers curled around his spear Gungnir. It was the weapon that could open and close the Bifrost, meaning he had just come from Asgard. Now there was only one test left, to make sure that he was truly the one you wanted. "Tell me who you are." When he spoke, his voice was soft in nature yet carried the weight of a throne.
"I am Loki, the son of Odin."
You nodded, observing the hesitancy when he uttered the name of the All-father. He had just been told about his Frost Giant heritage, and was in dire need of comfort.
"I command you to tell me who you are."
Your lip curved upward just a little. He still had dominance in him, and that was exactly what was missing from that fool on the screen. After telling him your name, you strode forward and placed Loki's free hand in both of yours.
"I'm here to give you the world."

i’m very very curious about your arthurian retelling! who are the central characters? what do you find most interesting/exciting/compelling about them? what are your arthurian sources & inspirations (be that medieval texts or modern retellings)?
Hey there anon! Thank you so much for asking this question - this is going to be a bit of a long answer but I get the feeling that won't be an issue :D (Maybe grab a snack?)
Firstly I'll explain why I'm using 'reimagining' rather than 'retelling', namely it's because of moving Arthur and co into a high fantasy setting rather than just Britain etc. which, while of course there will be analogues, there's going to be a bigger part that other fantasy species play. Christian themes and I guess, reasonings, aren't found but linger where appropriate (Grail Quest is there but but Galahad doesn't like yk go to Heaven afterwards) as some media I've been inspired from as well as I think a big thing of Arthur's legend of moving from one world into another whether that be Pagan -> Christian or Anglo-Saxon -> Britain(* all the big asterisks there because yk fiction and history not aligning).
Characters
Oh boy. Firstly I'd like you to check out the chart that was added to the wikipedia for King Arthur's Family: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_Arthur%27s_family *how I wish this was there last year :sob:* and basically this kinda gives a good scope of characters I have 'webbed' out. I've gone to both Welsh and French texts for inspiration since Welsh includes Arthur's trips to the underworld ( ;) ) and French is when we get Lancelot and the Grail Quest. Firstly know I have taken some liberties both in Arthur's family tree as well as some creative ways that account for say multiple parents (Lancelot is recorded as being the son of a King but also as a son of The Lady of the Lake ~plot reasons~ they're separate uh, instances lets say ;) of his parents in my story). But in terms of characters whose voice I have a pretty good grasp of, their emotional arc(s) and a clear image in my mind of what they look like are (and grouped for no particular reason...):
Arthur, Lancelot, Gwen, and two others in their polycule.*
Igraine, Uther, and Gorloris.**
Merlin <- think druidic Loki vibes, he's a pain in my ass and I love him.
Hector his daughter Ser Kay.
Nimue and The Lady of the Lake.
Morgause and her son Mordred.
Madoc and his brother Mark.
Morgaen and how they were separated from Arthur at birth.
... The notion database I've created by pulling all the characters from sources comes to 258 but the above lists some uh key figures that are fleshed out as protagonists, antagonists, and anti-heroes.
(*) I'll get to Arthur/Lance/Gwen's triad a bit more below, but what I will say is that polycule is an important term here as everyone isn't with everyone, if that makes sense? But imagine found family five-man-band vibes.
(**) SO fun fact, when I watched the movie Merlin as a kid I misheard Gorlois as Goloris so I just kinda stuck with it. Unsure if that'll upset people too much though aha.
Why Tho? Exciting/Interesting/Compelling reasons why these characters have my soul.
I'm a big fan of Fairy Tales, Folklore, and Mythology. Seeing comparisons and also seeing both the Disney-fied versions but also the original tales. Arthurian legends has scratched an itch of dragons, knights, and magic that I've loved and is also shared by other stories too - which in part is why I'm spending so much time worldbuilding up front so I have a whole world sandbox to play in and tell some other tales too with it.
Why did I go with Arthur instead of say the Little Mermaid & Harpy sapphic reimagining I've got stashed? Honestly? Because he answered the call to adventure - the quest I have planned - but also because the Arthur I have in my mind, a big theme for him is Courage and doing the thing even though you're scared to which I resonate with a lot. Lancelot came stumbling in as his best friend from their squire days after disappearing for a few years for a second chance romance plot. Gwen butting heads with her twin sister had a certain, fire let's say ( ;) ), that need to pull these two dorks out of their heads while also exploring themes of empowerment. Mordred's arc which I hope to pull off as well as Zuko's was. Merlin, whom I love, was the one who revealed the world to me and really sparked the magic of it all. But then two scenes came to my mind, in full colour and with a big emotional impact.
Arthur and Morgaen's next meeting after finding out they're siblings.
Lancelot's lost memories returning and Arthur knighting the man who had turned to stone to save him.
I'll need to go through and make a full list of tags eventually but uh, lots of Angst/Hurt/Comfort mixed in with wholesome moments. I'm leaning towards potentially writing in a serial format and also doing maybe side stories from different character perspectives.
Sources & Inspirations
In terms of Arthurian specific things:
Welsh sources: Black Book of Carmarthen; Red and White books of Hergest; Culhwch and Olwen; Mabinogion; and the Welsh Triads.
Geoffrey of Monmouth, notably for Arthur's connection to the Roman Empire and characters from that region.
French sources: Le Mort de Arthur, Tristan and Iseult, Perceval and other stories such as Lancelot and the Knight of the Cart (I cackled a bit when I read that one ngl).
I tend to listen to the Myths and Legends podcast by Jason (something) who will be coming out with an Arthurian book sometime which I am keeeen for.
In terms of post-medieval things, there's a lot of nodding to fairy tales such as Tom Thumb and any story where Jack is mentioned.
Merlin the 1998 miniseries with Sam Neill. (This is the one that I misheard Golois as Goloris aha.)
The Mists of Avalon 2001 miniseries. (I haven't read the books and don't plan to support the author or that estate in any way due to the abuse she aided and abetted in).
Sword and the Stone is a classic Disney film but the main thing here I took inspiration from was to really highlight The Great Game in some way... Which is also a nod to Talesin in the Mabinogian. Also enjoyed Quest for Camelot as well.
There's a sapphic scifi retelling that I love called Once and Future.
And I also watched King Arthur's Disasters as a kid which, ngl I prefer the Welsh versions where he's a badass but this was amusing at the time.
In terms of non-Arthurian sources and inspirations, oh boy this gets quite long but basically from the above there are offshoots that I've done in terms of exploring:
Other Welsh tales.
Folklore of Europe as well as Ireland, Scotland, and Britain.
A lot of dabbling in comparative mythology and folklore as well as such as the Aarne-Thompson-Uther Index for folklore to create some original but familiar folk heroes and lore for my world.
Consuming pretty much everything on Overly Sarcastic Productions.
I've mentioned that Avatar the Last Airbender and Fullmetal Alchemist are two comparative points of media: the first being for the elemental magic system as well as just some solid worldbuilding and character arcs - one of my blocks with writing is that I have like this big epic quest, various wholesome slice of life moments, deep emotional beats, but then also some spicey scenes that come to mind; the latter is mainly for a nod to alchemy, and magitech as well as some character beats.
I've also mentioned ASOIAF and really want to highlight that there won't be any inc##t at all in my books. There will be dark themes such as abuse of power, manipulation, and there will be people who get hurt or take advantage of, but I just really don't like that plot beat at all. Hence why Mordred is no Arthur's son.
*flops* Okay thank you for sticking with me through all of that. Let me know if you have more questions or if you'd like me to elaborate on anything! Thank you again for your question, it means a lot that people are finding it interesting (helps stop the imposter syndrome voices yk?)

hello, mechanisms enjoyer. who is your favourite mechanism. what is your favourite album. what is your favourite song. what is your favourite photo. do you have a favourite live recording.
Hello!! I'm so excited for an ask! My apologies for how long it took to answer, I was a bit under the weather.
My favorite mechanism (its very difficult to choose just one) is Jonny! I also have a deep love of them all, but a few more that catch my eye tend to be Gunpowder Tim, Ashes, and Ivy!
So far my favorite album has been The Bifrost Incident (with Once Upon A Time In Space following closely behind!)
I will be completely honest, my favourite song changes purely on which mechanism/oc of mine is currently my favourite, or my mood. At the moment, my favourite ones are 'Loki', 'Frankenstein', 'Peacemaker' and 'Rose Red', with 'Gunpowder Tim vs the Moon Kaiser'/'Underworld Blues'/'Riddle of the Sphinx' as my very clear followups, but I adore all their songs pretty much equally!
I don't believe I have a current favourite photo since I don't tend to look into the live performances or images on the sites! I tend to enjoy looking at fanart of the characters and reading fics/the official lore on the site rather than seeing the characters live/dressed up. Just the way I've always been, I tend to not like watching movies/shows/music that is liveaction, just not a fan I suppose.
As answered before, I don't tend to listen to the live performances or shows, I just am not a fan of broken emergence and the audience laughing or responding breaks it. It quite annoys me, honestly, and I prefer the pre-recorded banter and such. But I do really like one of the epilogue pieces for Once Upon A Time In Space of leading Briar Rose to Cinders, and Jonny shooting Tim for annoying him haha! It's quite funny to me. I also love the bit in the song of Dr.Pichard about Mariqus being upset that the Doctor thinks he's trying to trick him.
Thank you yet again for the ask! I quite enjoy receiving them!

Sylki shippers have been extra grating lately. Since season 1, they've really been wanting Loki and Sylvie to have a "happy ending" and become benevolent protectors of the multiverse against Kang together. Loki I could see doing that, sure, the way things have been going this season, that's a burden - one worthy of a god - he'd willingly bear to save lives. But Sylvie?
"Season 2 is like the two of them having to work through that, which I think you see in that one scene in Episode 4 where they have that conversation about, "We are gods." There's something to that, about Loki really embracing that, and there's something sad about the fact that Sylvie, in a way, needs to be reminded of that. It's a life she hasn't really gotten to live." - Kevin Wright, Loki Producer
Sylvie was born the Goddess of Mischief, but the TVA took her when she was just a kid. She didn't grow up living the life of a god, learning what it means to be one. She forgets she is one. Hell, does she even want to be one? She seemed happy in the mundane life she made for herself, and was very upset with Loki for showing up and "ruining" it. She finally has a life of her own choosing, one where she can just live. Her suddenly deciding in the final two episodes that she doesn't care about that and leaving it all behind to go "rule beside" Loki as gods is what really makes her happy would be rushed as hell. It would be the romance taking priority over the character we've been seeing this season.
Reading your ask, I wonder: Is Sylvie better written this season?
If I'm being cynical and thinking of S1, I fear they might show Loki as a proud narcissist who wants to be a god and is obsessed with power, whereas Sylvie is so down to earth and such a good girl that she rejects her goddess status and prefers to go hang out with the common folk.
With that said, if it's done well, it could be pretty interesting for both of them. That's what this series should be about: a show where the Lokis accept themselves and find their own path. That would require they also acknowledge that they're Jotuns but I have no hope in that regard (hey, if I'm wrong, I'll gladly apologize!).
I'm not a big fan of them replacing HWR though. I suppose it depends on how they do it, but to me it makes it seem like they would be giving up their lives in order to dedicate themselves to others and that's not the place I want to see a scapegoat in. I get it can be seen as them being good and protecting others, etc but... can't Loki just have a life of his own for once?
Anyway, I agree with you about Sylvie. She said it herself she barely remembered Asgard and she was only a kid when she was taken. For her to end the series taking on the role of a full-fledged goddess would be weird. It would be interesting though if the discussion was about that god status being something you're born with or something you choose?
I get why the shippers might be mad but Sylvie needs to be fleshed out, she has a lot of potential. Reducing her to a love interest just so that they can have a romance would be a huge mistake.

Hey! I've been mostly a lurker in the Loki/Marvel fandom spaces on Tumblr (just following nice authors and artists but not interacting) and recently saw a lot of people talking about how the experience in Loki fandom has been unpleasant recently. As far as I've seen it mostly seems to be the fandom at odds with each other over the dissonance between the 2012-2013 Loki character, Ragnarok Loki character, and the TV Series Loki character (surprisingly though, I've never come across these differing opinions. I don't know if it's because I don't follow other Loki enthusiasts or because I don't own a Loki blog myself). But seeing as the Loki TV Series came out in 2021 and it's been over 2 years since it released, I was confused why it would be especially bad now. So I guess I'm asking, has the fandom has been unpleasant for the entirety of the past 2 years since the series came out, or has the hate in the fandom has just been increasing recently, or is it something else entirely in the fandom that I've missed?? I'm just generally confused as to why people have been saying the Loki fandom experience has been going down the drain.
Hey! Welcome! :)
Different people will probably have different answers to this. I think mostly people are referring to the great schisms in the fandom caused by Ragnarok (some people hated and felt alienated by it, other people liked it, and some people attacked those who didn't like it etc) and then by the tv series (many people hated it and felt it seemed actively hostile to the character and the fandom, while other people felt angry that people were criticizing the show and began to harass and attack anyone who made posts pointing out flaws in the show) which led to fighting and hurt.
Personally I am still enjoying my experience in the Loki fandom. If I wasn't, I wouldn't be here. I have definitely been harassed over my criticism of the show but I usually just ignore it or engage in a discussion if it seems reasonable; if an interaction crosses a line I just block the person. And I've curated the blogs I follow so I don't have to see content about the show very often.
I love Loki (actual Loki not whatever tf that tv show abomination is) and the great content about him that the fandom produces and is still producing. I think there's good and bad parts to the fandom - like any fandom - and I'm definitely still happy in my part.
But yes. Many people have been deeply upset by the show - which promotes numerous harmful and offensive attitudes and seems actively intent on destroying the character and mocking the fans - and even more so by how a subset of fans have decided to harass anyone who dares to discuss the problems with the show or the hurt they are feeling as a result. And for some that has made the fandom too unpleasant to be in.

🔥 go to town lmao
FUCK yes
you know what i wanna talk about? i wanna talk about the way muhc of the dsmp fandom are, in many ways, so deeply ignorant and irreverent of fandom history, fandom etiquette, and even moreso of in which ways it is appropriate to interact with fellow fans online. i wanna talk about the deeply warped path fandom has taken in this new uptick of fans being not only actively malicious towards those groups that they- and i hope to fuck that they're not sincere in this hatred and it's merely an excuse, because if not then i'm legit worried for their media comprehension skills and how far they're gonna get in life like that- consider as 'villianous' and 'evil' for their defense of "evil" characters (not that they're cartoonish one-dimensional characters at all, but that's a different rant.). i would sincerely love to see these people face to face so i can grab them tight by both shoulders and shake while screaming incoherently. WHY DO YOU THINK CCS PLAYING CHARACTERS WHO DISAGREE WITH YOUR FAVORITE BLORBO SOMEHOW MAKES THEM TERRIBLE PEOPLE. DO YOU ALSO THINK THAT WHEN MOTHER HAS HIDDEN HER FACE BEHIND HER PALMS SUDDENLY SHE IS GONE FOREVER.
anyway. sorry about that. the point is; the treatment of fans by fans is so incredibly fucked up. and i'm a little pissed at how a significant amount of chats are not discouraged from this at all, and are instead actively encouraged to escalate sometimes even to violence in the pursuit of some fake pseudo-activism towards actual real human beings over block game people. i'm also pissed at how that's very much always been in some way part of how fandom behaves (if you know the fandom 1% theory that's basically what i'm saying here) but it's been steadily devolving to just do this sort of wild marginalization of fans over liking a "villain" character (SOMETHING THAT HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE HAVE DONE. DOES LOKI MEAN NOTHING TO YOU? ANAKIN SKYWALKER????)
and also i think this is worsened as time goes by bc a lot of people come into fandom without any intention of learning about its past or how people tend to interact within those spaces and being assholes about it. and that's upsetting.

FOR ROLEPLAY OR WHAT ONE YOUD LIKE TO SEE WRITTEN!
[C] Please note I am Lit to low novella writing. Generally I write about five paragraphs, three if I'm brain dead and struggling. Please note in all these stories while we write the main characters, I enjoy writing other characters as well as background ones. I would like someone to join me in that so its not just me ^^
[C] Warning tags. Must be 18 plus! I write Gore, horror ,torture, adult themes, depression. I have no triggers expect I’m not a fan of rape, incest and stuff like that.
[C] Themes will include Supernatural, myths, fantasy, marvel, ghost or monsters. I’m not one to follow the movies to the letter and often find the plots not always the best. Therefore I often change movies such as Tony and his lost sibling idea.
[C]Here are the main voices I’m willing to play, people that I muse the highest. However, I’m also willing to try. Wanda, Natasha, Peter Parker (Tom and Andrews) Hela, Bucky (NO romance! I can’t play him romantically! Friends only!)
[C]Characters I will not play! Deadpool, Starlord, Steve, Vision, Rocket, Groot, Drax, Vemon
[C] As always feel free to add your own plot ideas! I’m very open to those! And you are free to add to the ones I have listed. A Lot of these are just base ideas and can change as we go.
[C] Again please note I work a full time job Thursday - Monday 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm and Sundays are the days I do note write! If I happen to respond it's because I had time, but otherwise don’t expect it.
[C] In the Stories you can pick to play either the main person, Tony, Thor, Loki and I can play the oc or cc, or reverse
[C] Double ups welcome depending!
[IC]PLOT IDEAS
[IC]TONY STARK x CC OR OC (Male or female love interest welcome. Will play Tony or his counterpart)
[IC]LONG LOST BROTHER OR SISTER
[IC] The Stark’s had more than one kid, a younger brother/sister that was stolen from them by Hydra. They put all the time and energy they could into finding them, but could never track them down. Years later after training and being torn apart by Hydra Tony’s sibling is out for revenge. Tony lived a hard yet normal life, while they were treated like a dog. With an only desire for revenge they set out to build something that could topple Iron Man and the rest of the avengers. They built Ultron. A machine so savage that at the end of the day it even grows out of their control. With the world at risk of ending, Tony's sibling have to swallow their hate and work with the Avengers to take down this monster. Tony is desperate to have a friendly relationship, but the question is can he make that happen?
[IC] IT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN TO ME
[IC] Tony thought he and Pepper were solid, that they would be married until the end of time. But he was wrong. Tony came home early to surprise Pepper and found her in bed with another man. Someone he knew, someone he called a friend. With this shocking find he and Pepper split and Tony becomes withdrawn. He still holds his duties to the avengers but it's half hearted. Until (Your oc or any CC marvel women) starts to help him. Spends time with him and helps him to heal. Pepper is upset with this, as she believes Tony should not move on so fast. Thus drama between the two women.
[IC] THE WORST IDEA
[IC]Tony Stark is known even in the outreaches of the underworld. Demons who wish to control the planet find a way to possess him. Taking over his body while still playing hero, as a way to further their own agenda. They use him to experiment on people, to make the perfect vessels for demons. Bodies that will last a lifetime, and aid them in taking over the world. Tony gets pretty far in his plan, thousands of people are possessed and primed to take over. Placed in key locations of power, one of them even being the president of the United states. After months like this a woman shows up, who is a talented and skilled Demon hunter. She cast the demon out of Tony, and her and the rest of the team must now take on the army he helped create.
[IC] I SEE THE DEAD
[IC] Taking place after endgame, Tony thought death was his permanent home. That was until his team brought him and the others back. Strange along with the help of Sullivan (My oc) brought back all those who died in the battle. It was all great, perfect until Tony realized one draw back. He could see the dead. Ghosts, demons and even angels all became something he could see. The worst part? They all realized he could see them. So let the hauntings begin. Tony will need someone to help him with this, whether it's Natasha who is probably also in the same boat or someone outside his circle of heroes.
[IC]LOKI x CC OR OC (very picky with my ocs with this one) (Male or female love interest welcome. Will play Loki or his counterpart)
[IC] PLAY THE HERO?
[IC]Loki is still alive and living on earth right now with his brother and what's left of his people. Though something is wrong, a young girl named America Chavez wanders into his place. She finds him and speaks to him asking him to keep her safe. Having known him in another reality, and explains that others are after her. Loki knows he can’t protect her on his own, so he takes her to the Wizards. This is where he meets Strange for the first time, and things are rocky. After a lot of talking they agree to help, and thus find out it was Wanda behind everything. Loki is there when Wanda attacks and gets flung through the multiverse with America and Strange. This will be a much more expanded Multiverse and it gives Strange and Loki time to bond and become friends and then more.
[IC] MORE CHAOS?
[IC] Loki is the god of mischief and chaos right? He holds that title with pride and joy. How will he react when a young human is able to control magic just like him? That acts like him and causes grief in the hearts and minds of earth's heros. Loki isn’t sure how to take this, and feels as if someone has stolen his identity. He comes around poking and what happens in a contest on who is better at what they do. Chaos and joy: what could go wrong? Tearing open a hole into another reality that’s what could go wrong. How will Loki and them handle it? Tails between their legs asking for the hero's help? Or even more chaos!
[IC] HERO AND VILLIANS
[IC] Loki has always been a pain for earth, and after the New York attack he’s held captive on earth. Thor fears Odin will kill him, and doesn’t want that for his brother. So Loki is locked up in the Avengers tower where you are his guard. You are responsible for everything with him, and while you hate him at first you soon talk. While Loki means you no harm, he is also planning to escape. How this plays out depends a lot on how it's written.
[IC] ON A HOPE AND PRAY
[IC] Loki isn’t a romantic type, in fact its his least favorite emotion. So it stands to reason he’d never fall for anyone. While visiting earth he comes across Doctor Strange, at the time just finishing medical school. He’s beaten and almost killed. Loki, seeing how unfair the fight was, steps in and chases off the attackers. Strange is near death, and against his better judgment he takes him to Asgard to save his life. They save him and Odin isn’t happy with Loki taking in a human. Asgards don’t interfere with earth, and Loki has broken a law. Thus in order to keep himself unpunished and Strange alive he has to marry him. Loki accepts and marries him, and then takes him back to earth. Being bound to a human is annoying, and Loki doesn’t even know him. Loki doesn’t make him stay loyal and allows Strange to do what he wants. But he does make a point to visit him and over time Loki does fall for him. (Note this will have lots of angst and possible open ended cheating and drama)
[IC]THOR X CC OR OC (Male or female love interest welcome. Will play Thor or his counterpart)
[IC] ARE YOU A GOD?
[IC] Thor had never been so confused in his lifetime. He had never heard of a mortal from earth becoming a god. But you died in a gang shooting, struck down at too young of an age, and woke up and walked out of the morgue. Needless to say this has caught everyone’s attention, good and bad. Thor comes to see what this is all about, and to possibly help you. He teaches you how to be a god, and figures out what powers you have. Though others now are coming who want to run tests on you, cage you up. It's up to you and Thor to avoid them.
[IC] HE WAS MY BROTHER
[IC] After endgame and Thor has left earth and Asgard he mentally crashes. Without Loki by his side he finds himself lost. He has lost everything in his life, everyone he cared about. The anger gets to him and he starts to lose touch with who he is. Thor finds a planet like earth, and enslaves it. Driven by his pain and hurt he feels he at least deserves to rule doesn’t he? He’s brutal and savage to anyone he meets there. Until a warlock vows to bring back his brother. Thor doesn’t trust there words, and they must find some way to trust the other. How this plays out is up to you.
[IC] POWER PLAY
[IC]Again after endgame, and everyone has returned, something changes. Jane Foster has been granted the powers of Thor. At first Thor is thrilled with this and is very friendly and welcoming of it. But Jane’s mental state wasn’t strong enough to handle becoming a god. Her mind twist and becomes dark and deadly. She vows to punish those around her, and make the world how she sees fit. Thor doesn’t have the heart to stop her, and thus earth pays the price. Someone must come to Thor and convince him to take on Jane and end her life to save Earth. Thor takes some time to warm up to this, but in the middle of all of this Jane kidnaps this person. Thus the struggle over this person begins with Thor realizing now that he’d fallen for them.
[IC] THE DOCTOR AND THE GOD
[IC]Thanos snapped and killed half of everyone. Thor survived and in this case so did Doctor Strange. Strange knows the loss Thor has been through and in those five year he does his best to care for the god. Welcome him into his home and helping him deal with everyone he’s lost. Thor teaches him asgard magic and speaks of Loki and what he was really like. They become close and as five years pass they are together. They fight in the final battle and win. Strange has a surprise for Thor though, he managed to bring back Loki for the god. (Please note, I would totally love for Strange and Thor to have kids at some point)
DOCTOR STRANGE X CC, OC, OR MY OC (Note mainly looking for someone to play strange for me here.)
[IC] FREE WILL MY ASS
[IC] Sullivan Morningstar is held captive by the ancient one because of her blood line. She is trapped and torn apart. Her magic is powerful and the Ancient one uses that to have a long life. Kaecilius finds this out and manages to free Sullivan and thus gets kicked out as well. Sully is very hateful to the Ancient one and wants revenge. Thus she hides who she really is and joins the school of the wizards along with Strange. She learns with him, and becomes his friend. But She’s also working with Kaecilius to take down the Ancient one. She helps the man who freed her, and the Ancient one is dead. To her dismay Strange walks in as she’s being killed, and Kaecilus announces he will take her place and rule the world. Now Sullivan and Strange have a new threat to stop. Though the sting of who she is and what she’s gone hangs in the air.
[IC] REALITY IS FICKLE
[IC] Sullivan is a monster hunter and a cop, as she’s worked for the Avengers in the past. Now after the endgame and the heroes weakened the monsters and witches are coming out to play. Sullivan has been caught by the Coven of the first blood, a band of witches loyal to Lucifer and want to break him free. A few of the objects they need to free their devil is in the Sanctum and thus out of their reach. With Sullivan being a side hero they send her in to fetch the items. However, they are locked up and note easy to get to. She needs a key for them and the right magic, and Strange is the only one who holds that. So she does the only thing she can, she tries to play him. Get him to trust her because if she doesn’t the coven will kill her. So how will this play out? (Lots of room for angst here man.)
[IC] REALITY IS BREAKING
[IC] Being the daughter of Nyx, Sullivan is more attuned with reality and the multiverse. After the events of no way home she becomes aware of this and seeks out the wizards to warn them. Gaining their trust and showing them she means no harm. After all witches and wizards don’t get along in fact there's a deep seeded hate on both sides. While she tries to convince them, America comes through and all hell breaks loose. Sullivan is pulled along on the ride with her and Strange.

Your point about Quentin makes sense and I'm so sorry something similar happened to you and your co-worker. Like, his Mysterio plan is still dangerous/a fraud but like you said, his career was permanently damaged anyway. The best villains are those you can say "I understand why you're doing this (see also Loki, Killmonger etc) but you are taking it too far." But after FFH some fans were like "what Tony did to Quentin wasn't even THAT bad" and I love Tony to death but... it was that bad.
{i am the caretaker of souls} Thank you, and yeah the absolutely worst thing about having your work stolen like that, aside from it damaging your career and setting you back years of time, is that you can no longer say the work is yours. Like that’s what hurts the most on a emotional and personal level, is that once someone takes your work and presents it, publishes it, pitches it, etc., in Academia, it becomes theirs. Especially if that person ranks higher than you. Like a research professor taking their grad student’s work? Yeah, there’s nothing that grad student can do. Unless the professor’s peers are willing to condemn them for it and prevent him/her from publishing it, which... they don’t really do. They tend to stick up for each other. Clout and experience are everything, and if you’re just a student, intern, whatever, you have very little of that.
Once someone publishes your work, legally it’s theirs. If you say it’s yours or try to present or publish it, you could have legal troubles. So... your work that you’re emotionally attached to an have worked really hard on... you have to kindof pretend it isn’t yours anymore. You have to just accept... that you have to let go of it. I can’t tell you how much that hurts. It’s not just that someone took your stuff, it’s that your stuff isn’t even... your stuff... anymore. I really hate how cutthroat, nasty, and political academic science and technology are.
So yeah I definitely understood 100% where Quentin was coming from and why he was upset, but that still doesn’t condone everything else he did. However, it does make him a very relatable and sympathetic villain, and like you said, the best villains have some truth in them and a way to make us empathetic to their cause, even if not to their methods. But people saying what Tony did to Quentin wasn’t that bad... it was. I love Tony too (obviously if I write him, heh), but what he did was wrong and incredibly insensitive and damaging to his intern’s career, future, and mental health.
I think it also shows Tony’s lack of connection with those who work for him and his privilege, that he never had anything stolen from him intellectually speaking, or if he did, probably not for long. All he has to do is throw money and lawyers around and boom, everything’s fixed. But for people at Quentin’s level of education, experience, career, financial status, etc., it isn’t that easy. So it shows Tony’s lack of understanding of how the real world works and why that was completely not okay to do to someone.
I don’t think he did it maliciously, I think he just didn’t think. He’s oblivious. The woman who did it to me absolutely knew exactly what she was doing and didn’t care. I know because for months afterward, me, my boss, and my lab manager all tried to talk to her about it like wtf and she wouldn’t answer any of our emails or calls, and when both me and my lab manager on separate occasions confronted her in person, she ignored us and kept right on walking. So yeah, she knew what she’d done and she didn’t wanna hear it. But you know what? Whether you’re like that or your just oblivious like Tony, you still are messing pretty badly with someone’s life, so the end result are the same.

I’m one of those few Loki stans and Thorki shippers who liked both Dark World and Ragnarok. I actually liked Ragnarok and it isn’t a coincidence that it inspired what’s now the most kudosed Thorki fic on ao3. But when I watched the Loki show I was like…this isn’t the Loki storyline I fell in love with. There’s something so lifeless about the show and so removed from what made Loki great in Thor 1, Avengers 1, and Dark World.
Nonny, I'm sure, if you are on my blog, you are aware that I definitely don't share your opinion of TR and I take major issue with your assertion there but if we get into that we'll be here all day. Different opinions of any piece of art are fine and valid and all that and liking TR is your right. But I do think it's a little funny that someone who liked TR would be upset about the Loki series since it was blatantly obvious from the very first moment that this is what they were setting up with TR. Like. Y'all had to have noticed that? Marvel had long been looking for an excuse to tear down the Thor franchise as it existed and to barf up something shallow, trite, and "funny" in its place, and people applauding TR just gave them exactly the excuse they wanted.*
If all dissent about the movie hadn't been so fuckin viciously shouted down, if more people had been able to express misgivings about the new direction they were going in without being declared haters of fun and enemies of the fandom, maybe things would have been different. Probably not, but maybe. (And there are many fans who absolutely would have stuck around and kept creating content for the prior characterization if the fandom environment hadn't gotten so toxic toward any different opinions... but that's another topic, I guess.)
*And before anyone tries to come at me about the first two movies having been box office flops, that's just blatantly false. They were in approximately the middle of the pack in comparison to other single-franchise MCU movies in the same timeframe (i.e., same level of broader cultural saturation and popularity of the MCU), despite Marvel having deliberately sabotaged just about everything about TDW through their waffling, midstream changes, and micromanaging. And, another fun fact, TR made less money (inflation-adjusted) than Iron Man 2, which is another MCU movie that gets shit on about as often as TDW. Not to mention that EG is by far the most profitable MCU movie to date, and are we claiming that's an amazing piece of cinema that is truly superior to what came before? Please.
(Of course, the next most profitable movie was Avengers 1. So it's not like they weren't aware that OG Loki, charismatic villain and morally grey foil to the heroes, was super popular. But they tried tearing down the existing characterization and backstory of the Thor franchise in TR like they had long wanted to do, and people ate it up, and here we are.)

1/10 I've never been a big Marvel fan and one of the main reasons is because I think they're so fucking bad at characterization and dealing with actual important problems in their movies/shows. When I first got into the films I was a teenager dealing with a lot of family/identity issues who had gone through a lot of "brain washing" type shit and I connected with Loki a lot on that level, I saw myself in him in a lot of ways (including some of his bad aspects) and being able to look at him with-
2/10 compassion and understanding helped me sort of come to terms with a lot of my own stuff. The way Marvel handled his character though has always upset me, like on a personal level. All of his trauma is completely ignored, or made out to be a joke at times, and the clear racism undertones to his characters whole arch/story are played off like they don't matter. It's very clear Odin/Asgardians are very racist towards the Frost Giants and this plays into how they view Loki, yet this issue is-
3/ never addressed. Loki never comes to terms with his identity or even realizes his Jotun lineage isn't something to be ashamed of, he simply ends up taking Odin's last name and being "proud" to be Asgardian which, sure, if he's finally happy in his family good for him, but the writing there is so awful and I hate knowing they'll probably never even attempt to fix it. I want him to have an arch focused on HIM instead of everybody else, he needs to come to terms with/accept himself. The other-
4/ thing is just.. the whole Loki show. Like what the actual fuck were they doing with that? They played off emotional and physical torture as a joke and completely absolved the perpetrators of any responsibility or repercussions because "haha, it's framed like a joke and it's not visibly gruesome to watch so it's okay and you should be okay with Loki going through all this and never acknowledging how fucked up it is, plus ending up friends with the guy who did it to him!" Like it was-
5/10 genuinely hard for me to enjoy the show when they were just treating Loki like shit the entire time and expecting everyone to find it funny. It was not funny. At all. Especially after he'd already gone through a fuck-ton of trauma and torture and abuse in the film that apparently took place right before the events of the show. I can understand Loki himself having an unhealthy mindset about it, since he'd been dealing with abuse already, for what seemed like a while, and that could really-
6/10 fuck up his perceptions/mindset, but that does not excuse the actual writers from framing it as something funny! Torture's not fucking funny! ESPECIALLY when it's happening to an already tortured and extremely abused character, who's basically just gone through hell due to a bunch of trauma and brain washing! Loki deserved a break, deserved an arch to find and accept HIMSELF, not this weird romcom/drama shit where he's dumbed down and his abuse is played for laughs and he gets stuck with-
7/10 this weird-ass selfcest shit that seemed like they were trying to play up this "love yourself!" trope but instead plays even more into this idea that no one else will ever love him because he's so terrible so he just needs to settle for himself, even though the alternate version of him (who actually is pretty terrible) ends up being like "haha you suck" and leaving him too. Like what is the message here? I am very confused and quite frankly upset. I'm sick and tired of seeing this kind of-
8/10 treatment towards Loki. He's not perfect, he's done fucked up stuff and he does deserve to have consequences for his actions but this is not that! Playing his abuse, trauma and fucking TORTURE for laughs is not a good "point" to make! Playing up the "no one will love you if you don't love yourself" trope just to throw that (already bad take) back in his (and the viewer's) faces is fucked up. I hope the Marvel writers grow a brain and realize that there are real-life people who watch these-
9/10 stupid movies/show and connect with the characters and see themselves in them and actually do have their lives/outlooks influenced by the stories they're telling. I don't want other kids getting into this fandom and relating to these characters just to watch their stories basically tell them "your abuse was funny but your actions are unforgivable, even if you didn't really want to do them/were forced to do them, and no one will ever love you" because that's traumatizing in and of itself! I-
10/10 am just so tired of Marvel being so fucking lazy with their writing because it's genuinely harmful at this point. I can't even image how much it would have hurt to watch that show when I was a teenager. Having all of my worst insecurities and fears shoved in my face with a big neon sign screaming that they WOULD come true, I WAS a terrible person and I was GOING to end up alone. I just- Loki deserves better, his fans deserve better, and every kid who relates to him deserves so much better.
10/10 +1 (Sorry for rambling in your ask box so much! You can ignore all of this if you want.) The way they just threw in "I'm a narcissist" was also really gross. I can totally see it fitting Loki but they handled it so poorly and instead of reflecting on how his trauma caused it/how he was battling it, they just used it as a way to go "yeah, Loki's really scary and bad, see? He has the scary and bad mental illness!" like- fuck you! NPD does not make you bad, shut up and stop being ableist!
u are correct 👏👏👏

i just saw your pinned post about other parts of mcu fandom being bad and i'm curious what's so awful about the Eternals fans? (aside from people ignoring characters you like who deserve more love or hype. it sounds very frustrating but i guess there's somethin more going on if it's so terrible you compared them to the loki fandom. do they argue a lot or just have bad takes on the movie?) i'd love to know if you don't mind explaining :)
i haven't seen Eternals, but i'm ok with spoilers
Hi Anon!!!
To start it off I would like to say yhat I really liked the Eternals movie. It's not the best movie I've seen but I still liked it a lot and most of all I really liked the characters...they were great.
What is bad about the Eternals fandom? Where to start? The same thing that is bad with all other MCU fandoms and the same stuff you’re mentionning... They find one White character to latch onto and obliterate all the rest. This time they did it with Druig. I would have guessed Ikaris, but I guess he didn’t have enough redeeming qualities so they had to go to the next White character, Druig; even though Kingo and Phastos, were just there. Kingo was definitely the funniest of the Eternals and also an interesting character to explore, but somehow the fandom is making it all about Druig.
Which itself is ok. It’s ok if Druig is their favorite character but I can’t stand them acting like he’s a sweet cinammon roll who has never did anything wrong in his life. He did some awful stuff in the movie (I know you said you don’t mind spoilers but just in case I put the recap at the bottom under read more).
It’s funny you mention Loki, because the Druig stans are reminding me of Loki stans a lot, maybe they’re not as bad, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was the path they were following.
It was the same with Loki, I’ve always liked Loki as a character, but I can stand the Lonki fandom because most of them want to act like he’s an innocent victim. I have seen too many posts from Loki stans saying he had never done anything wrong in his life; when he’s a literal murderer, he killed dozens and dozens of people. Like a villain is fine... But the first step should always be acknowledging he’s a villain...
When I got out of the cinema, I really liked Druig, he wasn’t my favorite but I found his character so interesting, but going into the Eternals tag... I nearly got a headache. Same stuff again and again...Everytime there’s a likeable White Character the MCU fandom pulls sh/t like this and ends up making me hate that character, or at least wanting to stay away from that character as much as possible.
Then, there’s the fact that the MCU shipping fandom has claimed for years that they wanted LGBT representation and when there’s a Gay character; who is married with a kid and who’s not a side character left into the background, but it’s hard to find posts about Phastos in the Eternals tag. Worse than that, they’re tagging their druig stuff with “Phastos” and as a result, it’s also getting difficult finding Phastos stuff in the Phastos tag.
It’s disheartening to go in the tag of the first Gay MCU Character and hardly find any new posts, or posts from other characters while know that if he were White and thin, his tag would be filled with dozens of new posts every day. Like don’t say you want LGBT characters if all you’re going to do is ignore them... or at least be honest and say that you want White LGBT Characters.
And it’s not a matter of screentime, because I checked and Phastos and Ben have the EXACT SAME screentime (maybe one or two minute difference on a 2+ movie, so exact same screentime).
TL:DR: What’s wrong with the Eternals fandom? The obsession with Druig while refusing to talk about his terrible actions, the fact that they ignored the first canon M/M couple just because none of them is White, in short, the same old thing.
Here’s what Druig did, I won’t go into details but it’s still spoilery so I’m putting him under read more:
He was upset about the Eternals stupid non intervening rule, which is good, but he went to the other extreme and while mind controlling people to stop a violent invasion, he chose another pat and decided to live in the forest (Amazonia forect in I remember correctlw) with a group of people he was mind-controlling. It’s implied that he mind controls them regularly, and they have this sorts of chapel, so it all points out to him being some sort of cult leader or leading a sect something like that. And when we meet him a thousand years later, they are being attacked by deviants and Druig mind controls those people again to fight the deviants, even though they’re humans and could die anytime. It took Sersi convinving him to let them go because it wasn’t their fight for Druig to change his mind.
Somehow I hardly see people talking about this; but there are already hundreds of posts about Druig’s leather jacket.

“Will you join us this time, brother?”
Loki hesitates at Thor’s question. He was never good at the sort of thing that his friends enjoyed so, which made him a target for ridicule across the realm. What kind of man, a prince nonetheless, was so weak and fearful? Not a real man, that’s what.
Thor didn’t make it easier for him. Being the picture of the formidable, valiant warrior, he made Felix’s shortcomings all the more stark. Loki was all too aware of the comparisons people liked to make between them--they would fawn over how Thor was so brave, so strong, so much like the king that his frail little brother could never be. They would laugh and thank their stars that the fates were kind enough to have Thor be the old king’s first born and not his pitiful little brother.
Even Thor, who claimed to love him most in the world, was embarrassed of him. He always tried to egg him on and make him engage in “manlier” endeavors and forsake his witchcraft, forcing him along on his reckless adventures with his gang of hooligans so he would toughen up. How can he say that he loves him when he saw him as something that needed to be fixed? Thor didn’t love him. He pitied him.
Only you gazed upon him and accepted him for who he was. You knew too well what it felt like to be underestimated and ridiculed for being different, for daring to not adhere to their millenia-old customs of what makes one a good warrior or a proper lady. Every time he would hide and cry, you would find him and remind him that underestimating him will be their downfall, that true weakness is stupidity and arrogance and they had that in excess.
And there you were, coming to his defense once more.
“Shut up, you big oaf. Loki doesn’t care for our silly games.”
“Why not? All he has to do is sit back and not get in the way of our fair maiden and he should be fine.” Volstagg cuts in, followed by a series of chuckles that ebb and flow through the group.
“Volstagg.” Thor warns, shooting him a glare that quiets the snickering down, but by then it was too late, the damage had been done.
For, worse than the comparisons between himself and his golden brother, were those between him and the woman he loved so dearly.
Your close relationship made it so it was easy for people to jeer at the fact that the warrior lady is doing a man’s job while the prince practised such cowardly arts as magic that were meant for women. The comparison wasn’t flattering to either of you as he was thought of as a weakling and you as a woman trying to be a man.
“No, Volstagg, go on. Tell me what exactly you mean to say.” Again, you start defending him, ready to start a fight with the large man who began slinking back when faced with your unbridled fury. You were always so passionate about defending him, but Loki cannot let you keep doing that. He needed to prove that he could look after himself, not to impress those mindless thugs, but to prove to you that he could be a man for you, and provide you with protection just like any other man.
“I’m sure he’s just joking, my lady.” Loki interrupts and you look at him with surprised eyes that get all the wider as he continues, “It doesn’t matter anyway as I’ll be joining you.”
“My prince, you don’t have to--”
“I don’t have to do anything, my lady. I want to. Now let’s stop this useless bickering and go.”
__________________________
There was a nervous energy within the group the whole time they were in Alfheim. The men felt weird with Loki there and Loki felt weird with the warrior lady always hovering around.
“Lady, if I didn’t know any better I’d think that you were trying to guard me. I don’t need guarding. I can defend myself.” He didn’t want to snap at you like that but he desired so desperately for you to see him as a man for once.
“O-of course, my prince.” You splutter, a pretty blush on your face from being called out, and hesitantly take a few steps away from him, still not going far.
Loki huffs and charges forward carelessly, if you weren’t going to give him space, he will take it himself. And it’s precisely his attempt to distance himself from you that gets them in trouble.
“Brother, look out!” Thor shouts and Loki looks up barely in time to see an elf descend on him from the tree he was under. Shouts rise up and fill the air as their party gets ambushed by the rogue elves they were after.
Loki gets outnumbered, one of the elves delivering a blow to him before you can make your way to him. But your party quickly overcomes their momentary shock and works fast to push back the elves, steadily gaining control and shifting the tides in your favor.  Eventually, you beat the band of rogue elves and send them scattering back into the woods.
When the fight dies down, things only get worse for Loki as you rush to cradle his body in your arms, thinking he is unconscious, before turning back to the men. “Shame on you! If you hadn’t been absolute pricks to him, he wouldn’t have felt the need to prove himself to you and get himself hurt. Why must you be like this?”
“I’m sorry, my lady.” Thor speaks up, sounding genuinely upset too.
“Oh, shove it up your big behind, my prince.” You growl, lifting Loki up in your arms and moving towards the portal to go back home.
Even without opening his eyes, he can feel your worried gaze on his face and it kills him.
__________________
Loki became closed off the entire period he was healing. The more you fussed over him, the quieter he got. He was so disappointed in himself and you taking care of him only wounded his ego further.
“Stop babying me, woman. You’re worse than the lot of them. Would you like me to hand you a pair of scissors so you can snip my balls off and hang them around your neck?”
You were taken aback by his outburst, and Loki regrets his outburst for a second, thinking he’s finally pushed you away. But instead of stomping off, you get on the bed and straddle him, grabbing his neck and growling roughly, “You don’t want me to be gentle with you? Fine, I won’t be gentle.”
You smash her lips to his, tearing a noise of surprise from his throat. You’d been patient enough with him but he insists on being a brat. If that’s the way he wants to be treated then so be it. And judging by the way he kissed you back eagerly, you don’t have to wonder long.
He was almost healed by now, and you could be free to run her hands all over him without hurting him, eliciting instead the most needy moans from his pretty lips. But when he tries to do the same, he is met with hard, unyielding steel.
"This is unfair. Take this off." He protests against your lips.
"I think not. You have been quite the sourpuss lately, I don't think you deserve to touch me. Matter of fact, keep those wandering hands up." You grab his hands and pin them to the bed, intending to punish him for all the hell he made you go through.
"No, please, my lady, let me touch you."
"Oh you're already begging, that's not very manly of you." You bite at him, still upset that he endangered his life just because his ego was bruised.
He cowers under your intense glare, feeling reprimanded. "I'm sorry, I'll be good."
"Oh you will be. Now quit your protesting or I'll gag you too."
He shuts up, though he's unsure if it wouldn't have been better for you to gag him as the noises that come out of his throat at your ministrations were not very dignified.
"You don't know how long I've been waiting to get my hands on you, my prince. You drive me crazy." You drawl, palming his member and making him turn to hide his face in his arm as a blush covers his face.
"I should punish you for teasing me so." You  slowly pull his trousers down his hips, exposing his eager member to the cool night air that was clashing with your warm breath so close to where he needed you the most. "Will you be good for me from now on, my sweet prince?"
This was everything they ridiculed him for, being so subservient to a woman like this, but damn did he crave it. He needed you to own him.
"Yes, my lady." He stares down at you as you lean down ever so close to his cock, your breath fanning over him, as hot as ever and he feels his skin melt under it. The heat spreading to the rest of his body made his blood simmer in his veins. Sweat beaded up on his skin and his mind sweltered as you put your mouth on him, but he could do nothing but push himself into the scorching heat of you, submitting himself to the flames.
But all too suddenly, he stops burning, coolness flashing over his body like one of his brother's storms, and he stares down at you in betrayal, ready to apologize for everything and profess his undying love for you if only she would put your mouth back on him, but the horror struck look on your face sobers him up.
"My lady, what is--"
"What is happening to you?" You shriek, and for the first time he sees fear in your eyes.
"What do you mean?" He puzzles, looking down at himself in reflex, wondering what had possessed you when a flash of blue catches his eyes…
Huge patches of his body were covered by rough blue skin, the likes of which are all too familiar to him. He can't help his own shout of panic. "What is that? What is happening?!"
"You're turning into a….a monster." You shake her head, tears springing to your eyes at the horror unfolding in front of you.
"Lady, help me please.” Loki is even more shaken, tears already streaming down his face as he seems terrified of his own self. “Did they put a curse on me?"
"I-I don't know." You lament, feeling hopeless.
But then an idea pops into your head, "I'll get the king. He'll know what to do."
"No, please!" His hands fly out to hold onto you but you jump back, and Loki quickly pulls his arms back to his body, wounded at the disgusted look on your face.
"Why not?"
"You know he doesn't favor me."
"Don't be ridiculous. He's your father." You try to calm him down but he only gets more disconsolate. "No you don't understand. You don't see the way he looks at him when no one is looking. I'm… I'm scared."
Your heart breaks at the way he shivers, but there is nothing else you can do. You’re sure he’s just panicked. Odin is good and kind and you trust him beyond measure. "You're hallucinating, my sweet. The king would never hurt you."
"No, you don't understand--" He squeaks, and you reach out to cradle his face in your palms, only flinching slightly at the coldness. "Hush, my sweet." You kiss him gently then run to the king. Hearing Loki sob behind you only makes you run faster.

Out of The Woods
Loki x Reader
1989, chapter 4
"They loved each other recklessly"
Summary: It's hard to find the one, but even when you do find him it's always going to be a daily struggle to make it work. Can you even make it work after he broke your heart? The answer to that is complicated, but it all started when you found each other again in the Stark tower- and that's where our story begins.

Warnings: some angst and fluff, some shade was thrown, mentions of violence.

It's been a while since you felt this way.
Even back then, it was rare that you woke up before him, but you always relished it. You could feel all of him, the comforting weight of him almost lulled you back to sleep. With his chest pressed against your back, and arm curled around you, it felt as if he was enveloping all of you. You didn't mind that. It was weird how easily you fell back into old patterns, but how could you not? The only time you ever felt this good was with him, you never knew this kind of thing exists before him, and you never saw it again after him. But here it was again.
You couldn't bring yourself to care that it won't last, not with the way he felt next to you.
Certainly not with the small feather like kisses you now felt being pressed against your neck, spreading goose bumps in their wake.
"What's on your mind, love?" you loved hearing his voice in the morning.
"Do you think it'll all be worth it?"
"We will find out with time." He made you believe that, he knew the effect he had on you.
He felt colder against you than you remembered, he was different.
"They won't like this, you know."
"Since when do you care about what other people think?" he lifted himself onto an elbow to look at you.
You were different too.
"I have a family now. So many things have changed, Loki." His hair was softer now, you smiled as you racked your fingers through his messy hair, it was your fault after all. "You changed too."
A lot has happened after he left you, he was grateful that he decided to leave you, it was the right thing to do even if it hurt you.
"I did, I suppose."
"I mean, after you- you left it was a good few years and then I saw you on TV in the battle of New York, and next thing I know you are here in the tower with me."
"Yes, a lot has happened." He dosed off in thought.
"What?"
"Nothing, darling, we should get up." He met your lips in a short kiss, smiling down at you.
"Fine, let's go." You grabbed the sheets and pulled it against you, searching for your clothes. You pulled yourself up from the bed when you didn't see find your shirt which you changed to last night, at least that was before your second round. "Hey Loki did you see my-"
Turning around he looked at you with a smirk, already dressed in new clothes. You totally forgot about his magic, he always did it.
"Panties? They are right here, but I'm afraid they are quite ruined." You wished you could wipe that smirk off his face.
"I was looking for my shirt, you asshole." He just held up his other hand and you grabbed your shirt, turning to go to your closet.
You missed him so much.
"Then you have to fold it again- no Loki," you giggled when you watched him try to copy your movements on this lazy afternoon you shared with him. "Fold it to the other side, the airplane needs to be identical on both sides so it could fly." Loki glared at you and you tried and failed to stop your giggles. But when you weren't looking at him, he couldn't help but smile at you.
"I don't know why you call this paper thing an airplane, it doesn't look like those machines you showed me pictures of." He looked at your perfectly crafted paper and scoffed when he saw his.
"Because these paper airplanes can fly, look" you waited for him to finish his one before throwing yours. He watched your proud expression when it flew around for a couple of seconds before it fell on the floor and you went to fetch it. "Try to do it with yours."
Loki concentrated with furrowed eyebrows as he copied your movements and watched as his work flew for a second before it crash landed on your couch.
"That was great!"
"That was pathetic!"
"We can try again." You fixed his airplane and gave it to him.
"Or, we can do this my way." He smiled at you mischievously and told you to throw it at three."
"One, two, three!" when you released your plane, your watched in wonder as Loki worked his magic on it. Your two paper airplanes were flying throughout the living room together. You caught him staring at you when you looked back at him. Smiling, you leaned over the table to connect his lips to yours in a short kiss. "Isn't my way much better?"
You wanted to wipe that stupid smirk off of his face, so you brought him in for another kiss as the paper airplanes kept flying around the room.
"You can tell yourself whatever you want Tony, you are not a good cook." you coughed at the smoke that filled up the kitchen. Natasha was fanning herself with a towel.
"Well at least I am trying to cook! I was going to make something nice for our Asgardian guests." You almost laughed at him pointing a pan at Natasha with an apron on, but that comment died on your throat. "Where did you disappear to last night?"
"What?" you stood next to the open window, getting some fresh air.
"One minute you were with me and the next you walked away and disappeared. Wait-" she paused and tilted her head. "Did you go home with someone?"
Sam whistled from the door.
"Y/N go get some!" he raised a hand to high five you but you only glared at him.
"I got tired of the party, so what if I did?"
"That guy from IT who has a crush on you will be very disappointed."
"Who the hell has a crush on me?" with the smoke out you finally got your eggs and toast for breakfast, snatching the one that wasn't burnt.
"Mike? You know that guy who was talking to you last night?"
"What? No way, he was just making conversation and he was talking to you too." You scrunched your nose.
"Are you doubting my spy skills?"
"Yep, but either way it's not my fault if he's upset it's his problem." You shrugged, biting into your food.
"So you actually were with a guy." You looked up mid bite.
"You bitch."
"Language, the captain is here."
"What's going on?"
"Nothing, Steve."
"Y/N met a guy."
"You what now?" he crossed his arms and looked at you. "Who is he?"
"No one, can we just move on? We have a briefing soon with the asgardians you're making so-called food for, so just eat up and shut up."
Natasha only shrugged at Steve's raised eyebrow.
"Brother, where did you go to last night? I found Tony but I couldn't find you after we split up." Thor spoke to his brother as they walked through the corridors of the Avengers Tower.
"I went to the lab, parties are not my thing, neither are your midgardian friends." Thor shook his head.
"They are really nice Loki, especially Y/N." Loki faltered in his step at her mention. It did not go unnoticed by Thor.
"Why are you so insisted on talking about her? I told you already that we are not-"
"Loki, despite everything that happened I still know you, just a little bit." He put a hand on Loki's shoulder, stopping in the middle of the hall. "I just want to tell you to be careful with her. Her friends here, and especially Steve- he will not react to it well."
"So I should just bow down to that?" Loki looked up at Thor, anger flashed in his eyes.
Shrugging Thor's hand off, he went into the room where the avenger's were sitting around a table. In the front stood Tony, waiting for the two asgardians to arrive, while he snacked.
And then Loki saw you, you sat right at the head of the table just across from him, catching his eye and then looking down when you started to feel your face heat up. Wanda smiled slightly beside you.
"Okay, now that we are all here, tell them what you started telling me yesterday. Thanks for not showing up Horny head, Thor couldn't tell me everything without you."
Thor chuckled and held Loki back.
"There were weapons that were stolen from the Asgard royal vaults. We still don't know how they managed to get to Asgard or even get into the vaults in the palace. Loki knows more about what was stolen, go ahead brother."
"Very well, the weapons that were stolen are very ancient and very dangerous. One of them is Laevateinn, my old wand-"
"You had a wand?" Pietro laughed from the corner, you kept your wide eyes on Loki. He told you about it several times and this wasn't good.
"What else was stolen?" you leaned forward now, but Loki had a hard time meeting your gaze as he looked back at Thor as if they had a silent conversation. "Loki?"
Steve turned his head to you, surprised at your tone. He was even more surprised when Loki met your eyes and kept them on you as he obeyed your request.
"It's called the Skofnung."
It has been an hour, and it was safe to say that everyone in the room was on their toes, tense.
"You said you kept an enchantment on it! You said you hid it, how the hell did they get to your wand?" you were standing up, yelling at Loki in frustration.
"I did do that! But after I was away for a long time, the spell around it weakened and my stupid father thought it would be safer to put it in the vaults alongside all the other things!" he countered back.
"Hey Loki, do not talk about our father like that."
"Oh come on Thor, he is stupid don't deny it." You were so frustrated that you didn't even care anymore, you could feel Steve's gaze burning into your skin as he stood beside you.
"And how would you know that?" he asked you then, and before you could think you replied on instinct.
"Because he always treated Loki like a-" you realized your mistake when you saw a shift in his eyes, and the room went quiet as the spies and geniuses caught on.
You hated that between all the anger in his eyes, you saw betrayal there too.
Loki leaned against the wall and watched the scene in front of him unraveling.
"So, it's him? Is that why you weren't telling us anything?" Steve got angrier by the second and you didn't dare look around to see the others' responses. "You two were-"
"Okay, Steve calm down now." You were thankful for Wanda but Steve only shot her down.
"No, I want to hear what she has to say. Did you lie to us about anything else?"
"I didn't lie to you Steve! I was just trying to-"
"No but you did lie to me, you are involved with the psychotic guy who terrorized earth!" he pointed to Loki then, but you knew that if you looked at Loki you'll break down.
"Steve, maybe we should slow down from the accusations." Sam put a hand on his shoulder but he didn't let down.
"Yes, Steve I was with him, and I didn't tell you because I was scared of this exact reaction! This is what I tried to prevent!"
Loki was ready to fight the captain for making you feel this way.
"You can't be with him Y/N! He is not good for you! You don't know all of the things that he did!"
"Captain, if you have any anger let it out on me, not her." Loki spoke up and walked forward in the room.
"Oh I assure you, I will." He sent daggers at Loki before looking back at you, at this point your eyes were teary. "Y/N you will stay away from him."
"Enough!" your eyes flashed at him and the room glowed in purple before it all went quiet. Wanda looked at her friends' dazed eyes and she was about to go to you when Bucky beat her do it.
"Doll, you can't keep him like this forever, he will still fight. We both know that." He and Wanda moved through their friends to get to you as you went to the door.
"Darling what did you do?" he stopped you when you grabbed him to go away.
"I just needed it to stop." You turned to Bucky and Wanda. "They are fine, I just sent them to calm down, it'll wear off once I'm up in my room. Please just calm them down, I can't bear him being mad at me."
They nodded at you. After that you grabbed Loki and left to go up to your room. It was silent.
"You shouldn't have done that." Loki looked down at you with concern.
"He didn't stop. Do you see now why I didn't want them to know?" you crossed your arms, but your demeanor soon fell and he was ready for you when you rested your head on his chest.
"I understand. I didn't realize you were that close."
"They are my family Loki, I may didn't have one when we were together but now I do," you looked up at him. "And I care about them."
Loki locked the door to your room in a green flash when you went inside.
"Come lie with me?"
"It's midday my darling." You only hummed in response and got on the bed. With the begging look you gave him he had to oblige.
Getting in the bed, you laid your head on his chest and he traced invisible patterns on your exposed skin. His other hand playing with your hair, he couldn't help but drift off into his memories.
"Do you want me to go punch him? You know I would." He kept silent and just took your hand until you got on the bed with him. "Or maybe I could go your style and stab him. Lightly."
"I just want to forget about that." You nodded and laid back. You let him lay his head on your chest. You wrapped your arms around him, as if you could protect him from the world. "He is my dad too, I don't understand why he always listens to Thor and not me."
"As I said, I'd gladly punch him for you. I don't care if he is a king."
"Thor's coronation will arrive soon enough. I don't think he'll ever realize that I could be king too." You had to hold back your anger at his so called family, you had to hold it back because now all he needed was a warm place, which he always found with you. He stayed quiet, playing gently with the necklace hanging from your neck, which he gave you all those months ago.
If he could, he'd stay here with you until the end of eternity. He would stay home.
"Rest now, my love, I'll be here when you wake up."
You woke up to Loki. He turned his head to you and gave you a light kiss to the crown of your head.
"How long was I asleep?" you stretched a bit before falling back onto Loki.
He was still here.
"About an hour, do you want me to get you some food?"
"No." you shook your head at him, he was scared of the glint in your eye. "I'll go get it myself."
"Darling, do not ignite this fire for nothing." He knew it was futile, once you set your mind on something there was nothing to do.
"I don't care, they'll deal with it. I need you now. I tried to do it quietly but they just won't listen so I'm just going to do it like you would. A big 'fuck you' to them."
"Maybe consider at least-"
"We both know I am stubborn, so you are going to come with me and we are going to get food." He remembered you being feisty but not to this level, you grabbed his arm and walked out of the door.
It could be over a week from now, but right now you just needed him with you, and they needed to realize that.
"Well then, let's do this properly." Loki smirked when he stopped you, and you matched him when he put his arms around you, and in the next second you were just outside of the kitchen.
The Avengers in the living room stilled at your sudden appearance. Steve was nowhere in sight, neither was Bucky.
"I'm going to get us food, stay here." You gave him a playful peck on the lips and went to the kitchen.
Natasha joined you a moment after.
"What are you doing?" she leaned on the wall when you pulled out some leftover pizza.
"Heating up some pizza, do you want some?"
"You know that's not what I asked," you turned your back to her, walking to the microwave. "Why him? He is not-"
"How would you know if he is not right for me? You don't know me, or him." You turned back to her, furious. You were surprised to see the momentary offended look in her eyes.
"Do you know him? He changed. There are things that you don't know, that we do."
"I know him better than all of you, even better than Thor. I know enough about him to know who he is and who he is not." Scoffing, you got out the slices of pizza.
"It's been a while since you saw him last, and by the looks of it he hurt you pretty badly, a lot has changed for both him and you."
"Do you really think I don't know that?"
"I'm just saying, Y/N, how do you know he won't hurt you again?" you took the plates to the table.
"I don't."
"I'm just looking out for you. So does he."
She didn't have to specify, you had no clue what you were going to do with him.
"You are practically a mini Steve at times, always so stubborn." She left you at that.
Loki was outside of the kitchen, just around the corner in the common room he stood with a sly smirk when some of the Avengers were in edge when he sat.
He decided to use the opportunity to study them, when one caught his eye. The scarlet witch. He hadn't met her before, yet she seemed to have a certain connection to you, she was unaffected by the commotion earlier that day.
She returned his gaze and he was suddenly affected by a weird daze. She was in his mind.
Raising a brow at her, he let her try to find something, he was stronger. He felt something crack in his mind and he could see it clear as day.
Thor and his friends were talking in the bar, drinking as usual, when he felt an urge to go back to your arms, longing to just sit with you and watch one of those silly shows you love so much.
He quickly excused himself and as fast as he could, he evaded all the eyes so he could get to Midgard the fastest.
He stood in the middle of your living room, not wanting to scare you (again). It took him a second to get his bearing when he realized the scene in front of him. Two men in dark outfits were there, when they turned he knew they were no ordinary men. And they were clearly not wanted here.
On instinct and fear he pulled out two daggers and stabbed them both in the necks before they could retaliate. When he was sure they were down, he sent them somewhere far away. His eyes frantically looked around for you. Only then when it was silent he could hear your short breaths and whimpers.
"Y/N? My love?" he went towards the bathroom which was locked, not missing a beat he got inside and saw you crying and scared on the corner, holding a hair straightener as a weapon.
"Loki?" you lowered the weapon and Loki crouched down beside you, taking your shaking body in his arms.
"Oh my love, I'm here. Don't worry, I'm here." He held you close as you let out sobs until you calmed down and your breathing went back to normal.
"I heard voices and I hid here but I didn't have my phone with me, I forgot it. They would've found me and I couldn't call for anyone, Loki." He only hushed down your panicked voice.
"I promise no harm will ever come to you when you have me, I'll always be here." He picked you up and took you to bed, spreading endless kisses all over your face.
You were curled on top of him until you fell asleep safe and sound. Once Loki was sure you were sleeping, he started chanting. He was going to make sure you were protected when he wasn't around. He put up wards around your apartment with the oldest and strongest spell he knew. By the end of it he was tired, but it was all worth it for you. Anything was worth it.
He had never felt such fear.
It was hard to keep his strong demeanor up after the triggered memory. Looking at the witch all he saw was a surprised look, he had clearly underestimated her abilities. It won't happen again.
He heard your footsteps and was eager to get out and away from the witch when the elevator doors opened and there the Captain stood, alongside the Sergeant and the Falcon.
The blue eyes were trained on him. Then they moved to a figure behind him.
The falcon put a hand on his shoulder. Steve let out a chuckle when Loki went up and stood next to you.
"The literal cold blooded killer? Are you sure about your choice here, kid?" his jaw was set, but his eyes showed more.
"He's here to help you. And yes." You took Loki's hand and kept contact with Steve.
You barely heard Bucky mutter under his breath.
"Aren't everyone in this room killers, Captain?" Loki challenged.
"Some of us have an actual reason, not an excuse." He countered.
"Steve, maybe we should let it go for now" Bucky whispered to Steve and the two of you walked back to the kitchen for your ready meal. Said meal being pizza.
"An excuse," you scoffed. "You did something bad yes, but you're not making excuses for it, you don't have an excuse for it you are just redeeming yourself and getting better. You are just setting things right."
You whispered the last part, but it didn't matter because you drifted off into your head, not noticing Loki's quiet demeanor.
That night, Loki lay with you in your bed wide awake as you drifted asleep next to him.
The events of the day stuck to him, the memory lingered in his mind as if it happened just mere hours ago, the strike of fear. He did not think about that day often, but he knew exactly where the witch took it from.
He stood in the middle of your apartment; you still weren't home, so he decided to walk around the place that held so many memories of him and you. The first time you invited him over; your first kiss; the first time he told you about his powers; the first I love you. But to every first time there is also a last.
He hid the numerous cuts he had. You'd probably fuss about how he would need 20 stitches before taking care of him.
It was well into the night now here on Midgard when you walked through the door. A big smile adorned your face when you saw Loki. Putting your bags down, you quickly locked the door and ran up to hug him. He held himself back from the itch to hold you and hug you. You pulled back then, looking at Loki who had a stoic look in his eyes.
"Loki, what's wrong?" the longer he looked at you, the more it started to hurt him. You weakened him.
"I'm going back to Asgard. And I will not come back to Midgard." You stepped away. One hand wrapped around your waist as the other clutched the necklace on your neck. He felt the tears brimming in his eyes at your hurt look. He could hide his tears, he knew you couldn't hide yours, but he had to go through with this.
"What? Loki, what do you mean?"
It was a hard talk. Both of you were hurt but only one showed it.
He had to do this. He had to be the one to walk out and set you free.
You woke up with a gasp, taking in your surroundings you were glad to see Loki was still asleep. Getting up, you decided to get some fresh air and went up to the roof.
The cold breeze hit the bare skin of your arms and suddenly you regretted not having taken a blanket with you. The city looked so calm when you looked at this from this height, so clean and collected. Then again, you knew it was because of the height, everything was uglier up close.
Leaning in on the railway, you looked out and tried to clear your mind.
"Cold?" you turned around surprised to find Steve there, getting up from where he sat.
"Were you there the whole time?" he nodded to you and you didn't complain when he put on you his big sweatshirt. You certainly didn't complain about the warmness it brought you.
You kept staring forward when he leaned on the railway next to you.
"You know I'm more stubborn than you, right?" you scoffed at that.
"No you're not!"
"Ask Bucky, he will tell you."
"Bucky knows I am just as stubborn as you." He shook his head fondly at you, then his face fell a bit when he looked at you.
"What are you doing, kid?" Steve turned to look at you. "He is bad news, you are smarter than that."
"I am smarter than that, I am smarter than to judge someone you don't know. I know Loki better than all of you do!" you turned to him, crossing your arms, still holding the sweatshirt close to you.
"How do you know him that way? You said you haven't seen him in years. Maybe he wasn't a mass murderer back then but he is now." You could tell he was getting angrier trying to get you to understand him. People kept saying that you are Steve's daughter, so you are not one to back down.
"He did bad things yes but he changed, now he is here to help us and fix things!" you stomped your foot in the ground.
"He is here because of the Asgardian weapons, he is not here for you Y/N! wake up, he will only hurt you!"
"He is still here, with me!" you felt the angry tears brimming.
"How can you still love him? That creature that he is!"
"Don't call him that!"
"But he-"
"No! you can't judge me for loving him!"
"It's wrong Y/N, he is not good for you, I won't allow it." He yelled again in his captain voice and you have had enough. Apparently he did too.
"Steve you can't judge me!" he was walking away from you and from the conversation before you yelled at him and he faltered. "You only knew Peggy for a short period of time and yet you still felt so much for her even when you weren't together. And even after you woke up and managed to find her! I knew Loki for way longer than that and I loved him for more, so you can't blame me for still loving him today and going back to him!"
The heat of the moment didn't let you apologize for what you said, but when he walked out of your view only then did you realize what you said and you wished you could take it back.
You didn't want to hurt him like this.
