Hunger doesn't exist. It's an illusion of your mind.
Hunger is only an excuse of your head. You're making it up.

REMINDER
Binging has never made you feel happier, so what's the point? Binging only gets you further away from your goals. Of course, not entirely - don't let it demotivate you, you're gonna need that motivation to undo the damage you caused by pigging out.

Positive Things I can do instead of binging
Take a shower (can’t eat in the shower + come out clean)
Brush my teeth (don’t want to eat after brushing your teeth + fresh breath)
Go for a walk (can’t eat if your not home and didn’t bring cash + extra steps)
Put on lipgloss (can’t eat with lipgloss on + feel pretty)
Drink water (you might just be thirsty but if you still want to, then drink water until your too full to eat + extra hydration)
Read a book (holds your attention and distracts you long enough to forget about the cravings + expands you mind)
Get distracted (start a bunch of different things at once, start a show, a project, an activity, a hobby. take your attention off it/ you can’t eat if your busy, + entertaining)
Paint your nails (can’t eat with wet paint on your nails + feel pretty)
Clean/ organize (can’t eat if your busy, and keeps you busy + clean space)
Look at motivation (finding motivation on tumblr can get you back into the mindset and remind you of why you don’t actually want to)
Get a job (you can’t eat while working + extra cals burnt from being on your feet and moving)
( I’ll add to this if I think of more! )

tips I found on edtwt
I'm pretty sure these are things you've all read somewhere before but I still wanted to make this post. feel free to add your tips and tricks🫶🏻
1. consistency > intensity low restriction will eventually lead to binging, so try high restriction with being in a calorie deficit every day.
how do you do that? calculate your tdee (total daily energy expenditure) and subtract 500-700 from it what does that do? 3500 calories = 1lb/500g of fat e.g.: being in a 600 calorie deficit for a week will make you lose a little over 1lb/500g per week
restricting this way will make you feel better in the long run. I promise:)
important: if you are currently eating only about 600 calories (a little more/less) a day and you want to try this method, don't go from there to the other side in a day. slowly increase your calorie intake!
2. if a food is not 100% to your liking, don't eat it!
e.g. I don't really like the salad dressing my parents make. it's not disgusting but I don't love it either. so I eat my salad without the dressing. that way I saved myself from unnecessary calories and my parents don't get suspicious. win win.
3. portion control!
don't feel guilty to leave something on your plate. don't eat out of the bag of chips. take the smallest bowl in your apartment/house and eat out of there. (close the bag and hide it from yourself lol) don't fill the whole plate. if you still live with your parents, take the food and spread it on your plate. It'll look like more.
4. eat slowly & and I mean really slow!
chew every bite about 20 times drink water every 3-4 bites just try to be the last one to finish their food

😭 there is nothing like the feeling of regaining control over restriction after a binge cycle

SHIT I NEED A TIP
I ate very small last three days, and today I woke up feeling like I have a fever (I don’t, but it feels like it), dizzy and nauseous asf. So anyone knows how to make yourself feel better keeping a restriction?

My general diet plan/ variations for long term
(For metabolic variation and more flexibility, I won’t do the same thing every day just specific things most of the time, and if not one bullet then another)
• Intermittent fasting most days (aim: 16-20hrs)
• Apples & ice diet most days (apples only if absolutely necessary)
• If I occasionally want something else specifically, I can have it within a reasonable limit (low hundreds) as my omad
• Aiming for 10k steps a day
• If I ever feel like I’m about to b!nge and can’t stop it, set a limit. Stay in control. Then get immediately back on track and compensate the next day
• Do all kinds of b!nge preventing things even when you feel totally in control, since it's harder to stop yourself when you already got it in your head
Exceptions/ work arounds
Family meals:
• Make excuses and stick to them even at the risk of being rude. (It’s your body)
Or if that doesn’t work
• Make it seem like I’m eating, cut up the food a lot and push it around, but not eat
Or if that doesn’t work
• Eat only the size of your fist, cut up the food a lot, and chew slowly and thoroughly
Restaurants:
• If the menu shows cals, order the lowest cal option
• If the cals are not included on the menu, google the restaurants calories first (always check. some places have 1k cal salads)
• If it’s a very high cal place in general order the lowest cal side dish
• Eat only the size of your fist, cut up the food a lot, and chew slowly and thoroughly. (Leftovers are a must.)
Social Eating:
• Say NO when offered a bite, chip/ snack, sip of a drink, free food, ect.
• Excuse that you “already ate” if they are getting themselves food
As long as I’m following this I literally cannot NOT loose. :)
(To be honest while writing this I was nervous that you guys were going to think that I was being too lenient or that this wasn’t going to be doing enough. But now reading this over again I’m realizing this is pretty good I think? I literally don’t have any idea of how laid back or intense this is.)
Regardless, I literally cannot wait to see progress!
