I drew this for @chernabogs story Elegy !!! The way they wrote this scene was just so tender and soft, I HAD TO DRAW IT ‼️‼️😭😭🙏🏻💖💖✨✨ it was such a perfect treat considering how the previous chapters was "coarse" with how the story handled Malleus poor coping skills with loss, I love reading and rereading the chapters lol

I wishhh i was eloquent enough to verbalize how much I loved reading it 😩😩😩 The repeated questions of am i ill or that ever repeating quote that love is for the lonely then it gradually changed to its meant to be or or the way in every chapter there is always an element of Malleus wanting to get to know Yuu WAGHHHDJDBIEB JUST THE YEARNING OF IT ALL!!!!

ALSO ALSO ONE THING I NOTICED.... all the chapter names relates to a lament for the dead, and i just think thats such a devastatingly beautiful detail to add considering that even until the ending Malleus will still lose Yuu from death and he'll be alone just like how he always fears JUTSGUEGKFGDKBCHFKN i know it ended on a happy note but the chapter titles makes me think of that quote where "there WAS love but it didnt change anything" or smth😭😭😭

also love how "Malleus in a crisis" was written as well,,, malleus was so on character omfggg I swear Ames' characterization of this guy makes me feel like Yana Toboso is ghostwriting with them/lh ☠️��️ LIKE HELLOOO the way the story sways erratically between Malleus accepting Yuu made an impact of his life and Malleus wanting to go back to being alone where he didnt know anything at all and wasn't quite in distress about having relationships, thats soooooo GOOD 😭😭💐💖💖💖 granted i cried from it though aihskwbks

Dont even get me started on the buildup????!!! and conflict that was all resolved in the final chapter was AUGHHH THATS BEAUTIFUL IM SO GLAD I CAN READ 😭😭✨✨✨ And and the realization that Malleus fears is not death but them?? Beautiful!!!!! 😭🙏🏻✨✨💖💖 Cuz really its true throughout the whole story he was more stressed that he's so attached now XD AND AND I LOVE HOW ALL THE MESSAGES(?) FROM PREVIOUS CHAPTERS MAKES A CALLBACK TO THE FINAL CLIMAX LIKEEE "He can be bold. He can be brave. He can say this.“I was not ill that night, nor are you at fault for that. I was… I am afraid." PEAK LITERATURE!!!!!!! I LOVE FORESHADOWS AND REPEATING THEMES, MAKES ME GO YELL ABOUT IT ALL 😭😭😭💖💖💖💚💚 I love the kobold on the last part as well lol he is a promoted therapist now 😭✨✨✨

-if you are not uchiha, you must learn all to their customs and their culture, im sorry. shisui may disagree with some of his clan's ideals, but he still finds some of them very important and he loves them

-but of course he will also be very very open to learning more about your clan's traditions and if your clan has something special (like a kenkkei genkai or a physical feature), he wants to learn all the history behind it

-as we all know, the uchiha can be a bit hostile to foreigners, so if you were of another clan or even another village, shisui can even feel a bit pitiful that you have to go through all of this because of his dumb clan

-he assures you all the time that you are the perfect person for him, regardless of the loud, rude words that you can hear on your way to his house. which may lead to shisui and you moving to a house a bit secluded from the others, but still in the compound

-yeah im sorry but I sincerely do not see shisui dropping his duties as an uchiha and as a villager of konoha just for you. yes he loves you tons, but he always manages to divide equally his commitments. he will stay in the compound because he is an uchiha and has his own obligations in the clan

-even though it was a bit hard at the beginning because you were expecting different, shisui will not treat you any different. as a boyfriend, he was the best the version of himself, and now as a husband, he still is the best version of himself. he believes he shouldn't treat his spouse worse or better just because they are married. he always gave his 200% ok

-very domestic husband although he is out for work a lot. there are times he feels guilty for leaving you alone too much, but he is a provider okayyy he needs to work hard enough so you have everything

-which is why he will try to convince you to stay home if you are a shinobi. if he succeeds, he is deeply happy and relieved that you are safe now. but if you decide to keep your job as a ninja, he just lectures you to always be cautious and blah blah blah he is just worried okay? he doesn't want to lose his boo

-shisui will come with you to the gates of the village to bid you farewell with the longest, knee-dropping kiss. you only wish to end the mission soon so you can come back to have another one of his amazing kisses

-on canon universe, you only knew half of what was happening with the village and the clan. but on his final day, he made time to tell you everything, and just love you one last time oh no im not ok

-other uchiha and of course other villagers would respect you a lot of course. you are the spouse of sunshin no shisui hellooo. people will know of you immediately since shisui was quite the popular in the village. and ohh!! I am convinced many girls would be jealous of you because you took shisui first aughhh I wanna elaborate on this idea more haha

-madara is the most sensible and sentimental uchiha out there istg. he does not fall in love, and if he does, then i'ts over for the person, either they die or they both get married

-no but seriously, I don't want to get too much into this, but I deeply believe canon madara would not really get married because he is way too traumatized and obsessed with peace and war and dreams. so let's pretend this is another kind of au where madara is kind of normal and sane

-as much as you both wanted a small, quiet wedding, you just couldn't get it. madara is the clan leader and let's not forget he has the most booming, extrovert, and simple-minded best friends so of course it couldn't be a simple wedding

-hashirama wanted your wedding to be very special, and even though it was a bit too extravagant for your first ideas, it ended up being very cute and nice. madara is deeply in love with you, and from now on, you become his

-not that wasn't like that before. you were his everything the moment he realized his wanted you, and you were his from that second too. it's just that now he can say it out and wouldn't be called weird haha silly guy

-you gained the title of madara's spouse and by no means is that to take unseriously. all the uchiha clansmen respect you, at least in front of you. if you were from a different clan, you are to be judged there sorry. at least they are not dumb and do not say it out loud, but there are still whispers and well-masked judgmental faces every time you walked through the compound

-madara decides it is best for you two to live in the compound, and you can't really complain since he is clan head. however madara makes sure you are satisfied every day. always obtaining what you want thanks to the servants madara assigned you. and of course when he is home with you, he is very attentive to you

-you are never alone. if you're in your house and if madara is not there, there is always someone there with you, either the housekeeper or your servant. if you are out, there is someone there following your every step. when you realize this, you get mad at madara. he promises he will stop though he only reprimands the shinobi for being too noticeable and replaces him

-you get to know two faces of Madera. the one he shows everyone else, and the one he is with you. at first you are a bit taken aback by his sudden changes of demeanor and personality. he is firm, dominant, and stoic in front of others, even of his clansmen. his essence is dominant. but with you? he still is but a lot less lol

-he just can't help it at first, he says some things so bluntly that they even hurt. but he learns that you are no enemy, that you are his temple, he shouldn't be harsh to you. he ends up being very soft, you become his weakness, if you say something, he complies

-BUT the only thing he can't get rid of is his possessiveness, you are his, why do you need to go with someone else? you have him, is he not enough? do you want him to make some shadow clones so he is always your first choice? madara doesn't like seeing you with a lot of people; he has a mental list of the only people he is okay with, please respect his list

-he always needs to know what you do, where you will be going and what you will do. if you don't dare to spare any details, he will find out himself, though he will be hurt and disappointed

-and lets be reals guys... madara will at some point, manipulate you. either he doesn't like something you're doing or someone you are seeing, he will be very subtle with his words and just guide you toward a decision he wants you to make. he isn't stupid and tells you right there, no. he wants you to feel some sense of control of your actions when in reality, he is in charge of them

-he is a great husband though lol a bit insane but he deeply deeply loves you. he fears somethings happens to you and that's why he wants to control your life

Riddle is a very guarded and professional person, at least when he isn’t angry. Unless you’re asking for him to go ballistic on you, you’ve gotta reign in the desire to squish his marshmallow face, okie?

Well. . . . . . it takes so much restraint! You can’t hold back forever!

You’re somewhere more private with Riddle, perhaps out in the Heartslabyul rose gardens tending to the hedgehogs or in the library studying. Riddle just looks so calm in these moments, and the relative silence only aids in your impulsive thoughts getting the better of you.

Before you know it, your fingers are mere centimeters away from touching Riddle’s face.

“Prefect! What in the world do you think you’re doing?!” he hisses, annoyed.

Your fingers twitch, and despite knowing you’re one step away from being scolded, you don’t have it in you to take your hands away from him. “I’m sorry! I couldn’t help it!!!”

And before you can come back to your senses, “You just look too much like a hedgehog! You’re too cute, can you even see yourself? It’s not entirely my fault that I can’t help but want to squish your face!!”

Ok. Maybe that was too much. Riddle is staring at you with wide eyes, mouth gaping in shock. With his brain malfunctioning, and a blush spreading across his face that you cannot discern as angry or embarrassed, you push your luck and poke the hollows of his cheeks.

Not the softest :( You can’t really enjoy the full glory of his cheeks when his mouth is wide open but you’ll take what you can get 💪

Now run run RUNNNNN before he can get the chance to collar you! Who knows, compliment him like that with sparkles in your eyes again and maybeeee he’ll feel flattered enough to let you have your way. But… not for at least a million years! The disrespect! Hmph.. 🦔

Ortho: (strictly platonic)

Now, now, he doesn’t really have much of his face exposed. No cheeks in sight!! But those little circular things on the sides of his face definitely make his face look squishable! And don’t get me started on those pretty wide eyes of his!!! He’s so cute!

Ortho thinks you’re quite silly when you look at him from across a room, pouting because you’re thinking he looks so much like a hamster except you KNOW that his cheeks are not squishy in the slightest! Because he doesn’t have them!!! His little facepiece is metal and you don’t even know if he can take it off :(((((((((((

Ortho also thinks you’re quite silly when you squeeze your hands into a fist without noticing when you’re talking to him. Why, you’re so obvious, with the way you satisfy your cuteness aggression towards him with gentle pats on his head or by booping his nose.

Out of everyone at NRC, Ortho would be most receptive to your wish to squish his cheeks. He really doesn’t mind, as long as you’re careful with him. Besides, it makes you happy, and though you’ve remarked on the occasion that he looks like a hamster with its cheeks puffed out, he thinks that with the way you act around him sometimes, you’re the one who resembles a hamster wayyy more.

Though there’s no way to tell if Ortho’s face is actually a marshmallow, since it’s just his face gear giving the illusion of a squishable face, don’t worry! Ortho’s already asked Idia about altering his face gear so you can be indulged! What an angel 😇

she acts JUST like luffy. same mannerisms and everything. not as “empty headed” or frivolous but you get the idea. confronting, loud, blunt, selfish to the point where she’s extraordinarily selfless, etc..

she’s an international big-time con artist who steals(pirates) from local corrupt, rich leaders of different islands through her sea voyaging. she rarely uses the money for herself, but for the purpose of gifting it to the poor people who really need it. it’s a robin hood allegory. she’s very bright and quick-witted. and beats people up if they deserve it most importantly

traveled usually with friends from her home village and sometimes new people met venturing. unironically, very good wayfinder. she can navigate extremely well even without the help of her best friend, who was their ship’s navigator. she did this for 10+ years. the government wishes she would explode.

garp is more or less angry about this but mostly because her bounty would only continue to rise. meaning it’s dangerous. at that point, he’s like “oi sole !! fine! whatever she can handle herself i guess. it’s not like i can stop her !” it’s so funny to me, he can’t control his kid, his grandkids to come, or his son in law who just so happens to be the most wanted criminal in the world 😭 no one listens to him. i’m sure he feels crazy. most of his aiga are considered criminals.

may or may not be a devil fruit user. probably not tbh.

i figured since oda keeps insisting that luffy looks just like garp when he’s young and when he’s older, i thought yeah exactly ! luffy’s the spitting image of his mum too.

her and dragon met on her island when they were young. i’d say around the age 14-16. when they married many years later, dragon took her last name for reasons iykyk

before they married though, her and dragon went voyaging as well. they did many revolutionary missions/undertakings together. even before dragon named the endeavor a “revolutionary army.” this was the beginning.

dragon developed feelings for her and of course, it took her a long while to realize this.

luffy’s mom knows dadan. she’s an old friend of hers. wink wink. this is why garp is familiar with dadan and trusted luffy (and ace)with her.

i’d like to think(i DO think) they gave luffy over to dadan for safety reasons if we’re being honest. this is why luffy probably never saw his biological mom.

i like to paint luffy with a bit of pink in his eyes, a feature his mom and his grandpa garp, and previous maternal family members inherit. notice how gear 5 has pink-reddish eyes too !

after luffy was born she doesn’t scheme as much. things happened. with her bounty it’s not safe to stay in one place, but she does get to relax in her home village on every good occasion. she kinda has to play hopscotch between islands so they won’t be targeted.

these are just a couple of ideas i had about her. a little might change later but this is how i feel about her (possible) character. AUGHHH i really wish to expand more on this and draw more of her. i do have unfinished drawings of her in my cloud though. im super busy with college rn. i will post more art of the monkey d aiga (family) when i have the time to !!! i’m SO happy you like how i interpret them 💗💗💗

assorted prompts!

no particular theme, just a few ideas that i think are neat :3

a character that really likes journaling, and another character that accidentally happens upon it and reads a few lines

"You are so much more than what people say you are."

a character waiting for their flight in the airport. and the stranger that asks to sit by them because they're near a charging area.

addendum to the last one, finding out they're sitting next to each other for the whole flight.

the trope of a cafe being too busy and having to share a table with someone they don't know lives rent free in my head

alkf soulmate au soulmate au soulmate au, i personally like the matching marks one the most, but a lot of other popular ones i've seen are to do with eyes meeting and seeing color, touching and marks forming in the shape of that touch, being able to write on their skin for their soulmate to see, and shared dreams

maybe because i'm a sucker for angst but i'm also a big fan of soulmate au's in which one character's soulmark disappears or covered because of scars or a near death experience. not just because of the complications it creates for their fated to find them, but also the feeling of losing the one thing that connected them to their soulmate

painting/studio mates that are always working together. always in the studio together, working on projects late into the night. and it's this almost silent rivalry of who can make the most progress or who can stay in the studio the latest. how they always examine each other's painting and critique them in front of the whole class. at one point, they get to talking, reluctantly admitted to each other's skill. catch feelings. become each other's muse/inspiration. the works.

something about the tragedy of watching someone go to college in a major they hate. that they would be disowned if they chose their passion. how they were only happy in the one art class that their schedule allowed them to take. painting the walls with your name, if you can't remember this moment at least that room will. there was pain in the thought that they could've double majored. if only they knew about the possibility sooner.

like it's so tragic to me watching character be groomed as an heir to a big company or throne, when all they want is to know peace away from that world. they want the freedom to choose but can't for fear of losing everything they have. they will go through the motions if only to survive for the few moments of joy. but my favorite trope? when we see them find others that bring them the peace they crave. or y'know. when they leave their whole life behind, bright-eyed into the unknown.

i fucking love au's. i think i mentioned a pokemon au before but like aughhh love them. idk i just like thinking about what pokemon a character would use and what their ace would be. ALSO if they would be the kind of person that wants to beat the gym masters, win pokemon beauty competitions, use them for help in their profession, or just like, as a little guy, just a pet, what an adorable friend.

Ace Trappola - When he first appeared on screen I had a crush on him. And then he OPENED HIS BIG FUCKING MOUTH!!!!!!!!!!!! Ace I like because I can cook up some serious dubcon and almost like... A bullying kink kinda deal?? Ace is lowkey very bratty and its lowkey canon he has a crush on MC. He wants to fuck us so bad it makes him even dumber than Deuce.

Savanaclaw:

Ruggie Bucchi - Literally my whole reason for living. I tell this stupid story all the time but the game came out and I hadn't written in so long and I finally met Ruggie... But there were no fics for him. And so I needed to save the world. I needed to spread my Ruggie Bucchi propaganda. Ruggie is extremely hardworking and so charming he makes my brain melt out of my ears everytime. I love his New Years card too I'm so excited we get him this year I am going to fucking hurl. I love love love loooove Ruggie and I need everyone to love him too!!!!

Leona Kingscholar - Before the game was released I wanted him so so so fucking bad. But he immediately got bumped once I met Ruggie. Holy smokes its hard to explain but... Leona has that... "You need a man, not a boy." kinda energy.

The Tweels - This is an Azul hate page (we can still fuck him dw) and I lowkey hate the Tweels too. They're just so slimy and horrible and if I was to interact with them in person I would probably burst into tears. They do have amazing smut potential. But they're big fan faves among the fandom so they're very intimidating to write. I can make them worse. But is that what everyone wants!??!?

Scarabia:

Jamil Viper - He is very segsy to me hehe. This emotion was discovered after I finished book 4 and cried that everyone hates the JamiKali ship for being toxic but I think I read all of book 4 with fujo lenses... Really, Jamil is lowkey a pervert. Hypnotism? Wanting to be called 'Master'? He's a freak.

Pomfiore:

Rook Hunt - So. I have not published any Rook content but I have written it. Again, he's very intimidating to write for. He makes my dick hard in unexplainable ways. I like the weird French.

Ignihyde:

Idia Shroud - FUCKING LOSER INCEL. But in a way that I can make him horrible and creepy. If you like Idia Shroud, you're probably into being stalked and having a hidden camera somewhere in your bedroom because he is so obsessed with you. He has 70+ sock puppets watching all of your social media accounts. I am the most correct ever.

Diasomnia:

Silver - I actually used to hate Silver but he's started to grow on me... And there's something about that bunny mailman card he has... Dude... I dunno... I need him to wake up and let me feel his arms... I'll show you my vision later...

"Are you and mom a thing now?" Moosefall stares at him, tilting his head.

He stares at his paws. "Yeah."

"Do you love her?"

(Oh no. They'd all warned him. Moosefall asked him on a patrol and at least four cats had all frantically shaken their heads. Mudsplash had even tried to tag along with them, but Fernslug wanted to talk to her about slugs... and well... you can't refuse Fernslug. Ever.)

"Yes," Teddyfluff answers, trying not to stammer. "I love her."

He would really do anything for Sorrelstem. Anything. He would fight an army of badgers for her, defy Maplestar, he would kill some cat if she asked. Maybe not that last one.

"Oh, cool," Moosefall replies.

Oh. They are alone on patrol. There is a cliff 3 fox lengths behind him.

"I'm happy that she loves you and I'm glad she found someone," Moosefall quietly says. "Shrewkit's death was really hard on her. She's been so much happier recently."

It's silent after he says that.

Teddyfluff didn't know Shrewkit all that well. He liked shiny rocks and was constantly attempting sneak attacks on his tail. But he knew that Shrewkit and Sorrelstem were close.

"What was I saying again?"

Teddyfluff blinks. Maybe he can use this opportunity to get away-

"Oh, right." Moosefall turns back to him, eyes glinting. "If you hurt her at all, in any way, they will never find your body."

He stops dead in his tracks, slowly turning his head to the small brown and white tom.

Teddyfluff had no doubts in his mind that Moosefall would absolutely kick his ass if prompted.

"Anyway, you're funny and you make mom laugh and you're a good step-dad so I approve," Moosefall casually says, like he didn't just make a threat on Teddyfluff's life or something.

"I'm a good what?"

"Nothing."

- NC and SC always force NY or any other state who would hate it to sing and/or play the banjo when singing a song at a campfire. Even if they suck at singing or playing the banjo!!!

-speaking of campfires, I believe that the states usually have fires every Summer and Autumn. most get together and sing songs and stuff (u can use this idea if u want)

-New York was forced by Gov to make sure a southern party didn’t go terribly. He stood by the door while Texas wouldn’t leave him alone. He stole Texas’ hat when they all passed out, drunk and still has it to date.

-as (maybe) stated before, York plays a lot of instruments, and sometimes they force him to play the acoustic guitar, harmonica, banjo, electric guitar, etc. The NE makes fun of him for it.

-acts gay especially in front of the south just to make them pissed. he’ll flirt with them and make them uncomfortable with the high amount of gay in the room with them. Florida just goes along with it, laughing and pointing at all the southerners that turn away out of embarrassment.
