As someone who works in PR I am ASTONISHED at how bad Kensington Palace is at all of this. It’s the most interesting part of the whole thing for me. Well that, and how much it seemingly vindicates H&M and Harry in particular in what he’s said about the firm and the media’s role in protecting the Heir at all costs.
Yeah I work in PR for a public company and anytime we want to put something out we have to run it up the chain - we need legal and Investor relations and executive approvals.
Even if KP and BP had their individual PR teams, which makes sense, there should still be one main central PR office that everyone answers to that manages the entire royal families PR, makes sure schedules and press opportunities and STRATEGY AND MESSAGING all aligns, before running up the chain for final approvals. There’d be a social team and a crisis team and government relations team and a branding team and a general “talent rep” kind of team, all working in tandem to serve the overall strategy for the royal family.
The fact that there are so many cooks in so many different kitchens is why the royal family has had so many PR disasters honestly for decades now. They’re truly doing it all wrong. So many Worst Practices here, not Best Practices.
It really doesn't seem like there is an overall PR team. Just the separate entities
Yeah and that’s the problem IMO. They are a business that should be run like a business. They should have the individual departments I suggested, and even more, working in tandem.
The fact that there are so many separate entities with different agendas and priorities is a huge part of their problem IMO.
But Charles has been transparent for the most part!! And photographed repeatedly. It’s so bizarre when compared to KP, and feels passive aggressive to me to be honest lolol.
They’re really so so so bad at this 😭😭😭😭 but the British public and the media lets them get away with it 🙃🙃🙃
For heaven’s sake. If she’s recovering nicely, why resort to recycling old photos?
Other sources are making a pretty good case for the fact that it’s a November photo, taken after Catherine and the children visited the baby bank.
Does nobody, and I mean nobody, know how to do PR in that place anymore? Now it's pin all of this on just-recovering-from-abdominal-surgery Kate? Why not on William since they were so proud about how he was the one that took the photo? Somehow they keep making everything ten times worse.
I’m sorry, but I don’t believe for a second that Kate personally edited that photo together in such a way that it had to be killed as inauthentic. The pulling of the photo is likely more about the refusal to provide metadata or the raw image for proof rather than silly Photoshop choices. That isn’t an issue of “mummy going wild on the computer,” it’s a larger organizational issue about trust, transparency, and KP’s overall poor approach to news orgs and the press lately.
Why is Kate taking the fall? Why is William such a lout to let an ill Kate put this on her own shoulders rather than admit KP made an error or say KP is going to reevaluate their practices and make a change?
Are college interns running Palace p.r.? Because I cannot understand how they're botching this so badly. If Kate couldn't/wouldn't pose for a legit photo, then just don't release anything. The Royals are basically dumping tankers of gas on the inferno by playing all these games.
Sorry, am I going insane? After saying they wouldn’t respond to these conspiracy theories, they
a) responded by putting out a doctored image,
b) responded to the backlash of doctored image by claiming the woman recovering from a medical issue was playing around in Photoshop, and
c) responded to the backlash of editing claims by putting out an image where the person in the photo is supposed to be Kate but could LITERALLY BE ANYBODY.
NONE OF YOU ARE FINDING THIS WEIRD? NONE?!

Apparently the main symptom of her mysterious medical condition is that any photo with her in it immediately becomes grainy, blurry, or with people's wrists trying to escape into a fifth dimension.
Good Lord, I haven't followed a disaster story this closely since Oceangate Titan and this one may be even worse. The narrative is out of control and the rules have gone out the window.
They already lost control of the narrative at this point. No matter what they do now, they will be scrutinized more than they've ever been before. And they seem grossly unprepared for it.

It's becoming a PR nightmare that only Olivia Pope can rescue.
Maybe the better question is that people are concerned about Kate's welfare, and most WERE okay with waiting under the timeline KP initially offered that is she will likely return by or after Easter.
However KP has mismanaged the messaging, and with that concern grows over how weird some of the updates are. The article explains why this medical time out is turning into an absolute PR crisis. It isn't so much about Kates right to medical privacy (she definitely deserves that )
It now is about institutional reliability, the heir William's arguably erratic or unusual behavior or his courtiers' comments, the mess with the all kill photoshopped/Frankensteined photo (which has never happened before with a palace released photo), the very different approaches from BP vs KP, etc etc. It's become bigger than Kate sad to say.
And ultimately now people are worried for her, in a way they wouldn't have been, because things have become so irregular and bungled. So the urgency to make sure she is safe and okay has become louder and more insistent.

Hello, so I cannot stress this enough.
It's.. no surprise that I'm a Pale King liker. My blog has (kind of?) been centered around him since the beginning, when I decided to sell my soul and make a Tumblr page.
Apparently, there is a very... Unique and small side of the Hollow Knight fanbase who believes that the Pale King is simply 'misunderstood', and tries to justify his actions/put down other characters to make him look nicer than he truly was, just as a 'reason' to like him.
I'm going to say it right now, this is not me. And if you are like this, then you are on thin fucking ice.

I like the Pale King simply for what we know about him that fits with the canon of the story. The Pale King is a figure who was praised by many bugs, however he is not what he seemed, and was doing many questionable things behind the scenes to get rid of the infection, and the Radiance. It is very fun to play with his character, and come up with many interpretations for his character. That is what I enjoy him for.
However, interpretations are just that. They aren't canonical by any means. And... Yeah, I am guilty of having a couple headcanons about tpk that is positive, in a way. But never, would I ever try to convince others that tpk is something that he is not. My headcanons are not intended to clash with canon, nor are they intended to appear canonical, if they even do. I just try and think of certain situations in a different light. Y'know, for fun, and nothing more than that.
What the point of this entire post is, is that... Apparently, people are trying to justify his actions, or just downright denying canon, for the sole reason to make tpk look "not as bad" in comparison to other morally grey characters within the Hollow Knight universe. This is NOT what I intend to do with any of my posts that even remotely sheds any positive light onto a very very dark and complex character such as him. I do NOT understand those who are putting down characters like the Radiance, and just making up random bullshit about her, and fuck it, even making up shit about the Pale King, just so there's a 'good' reason to like him.
Guys, there is literally nothing wrong with accepting the faults of a character you enjoy. Why the fuck are we making shit up about this game's canon, just so we can enjoy a character as twisted as the Pale King? The Pale King is already interesting on his own, as a very mysterious character with a LOT of responsibility and power in his hands. There is no other character in the world of Hollow Knight as influential to the story as the Pale King. That alone is enough reason for me to enjoy his character. Why are these particular few trying to convince the rest of the fanbase that the Pale King basically did nothing wrong, that he's misunderstood, and that other characters are awful and just as bad as him, JUST so you can like him? Because at that point, you don't even like the Pale King, you like a very altered version of him in a universe that simply is not canonical in any sense. It's just nonsense. And no, there truly is no wrong in having your headcanons, no matter how much they clash with canon. But when you alter and change a charcater, and OTHER characters THIS much, just to make your fav seem like a better person they really are, and try to convince your following that he is a good person, then what the fuck are you doing?
And, AUs are perfectly fine! If you have an AU that flips the canon for fun, then good on you. I have a ton of AU ideas always rattling in my head, most of them fuck around with hk's canon because why not? But if you are gonna sit there and tell me that, canonically, the Pale King was not a bad person, then what the fuck. That's just you misleading your audience.
YOU CAN LIKE A VILLAIN WITHOUT FEELING THE NEED TO JUSTIFY THEIR ACTIONS. JFC GUYS. THEY ARE VILLAINS FOR A REASON. The Pale King is an AWFUL, piece of shit person, that simply has ZERO redeeming qualities. And to me, that's quite alright. The fact that he is so villainous, yet praised by some blind bugs in Hallownest, is all I need to love his character.
The fact that I feel the need to even make this post after disappearing for MONTHS says quite a bit about how upset this shit makes me. It's incredibly embarrassing for me to know that other Pale King likers try and justify his actions rather than just accepting him as a villain. Just. Like the Pale King for what he is, and not what you WANT him to be.
That's all. I'm pinning this post because I don't want this to get buried as I plan to start posting more HK artwork again.
Edit; I know I've "defended" tpk in the past, but that was just more of me trying to get my original interpretations of him out there rather than actually justifying his actions. I wrote that awhile ago and even partially disagree with stuff I said (for example, the 'he cared for his people', especially considering it was a rather weak point anyway). And as I just said, it was mostly just interpretations, filling in the gaps with things we simply don't know much about. The plot of hk is incredibly vague to the point where the backstory could be viewed from multiple angles, thus the post. It was a pretty weak post overall and I hate that its still being spread around. If you were introduced to this blog because of that post then I am deeply sorry. If I knew a lot of PK enjoyers acted this way then I wouldn't have had the balls to post that lolol ok. edit over

In this case bad editing (and acting) made a hilariously awful movie. Every scene was shot at the exact same time of day and there were no transitions, just a split-second cut to the next plot point. But, to be fair, it's exactly what I expected it to be. Hell, maybe even worse. I still had fun watching it, tho, so that's a plus

ep 1
ladies and gents it’s going to be a good one. i loved being able to see this backstory to lay all the groundwork for the future of the drama.
his story is devastating as a young individual unable to make his way into the world and then making a way to find it isn’t how he expected and lost a real thing he had with the relationship with the her grandmother. but the redemption when he goes to see her again.
her family becoming broken. her sister severing the relationship and chalking it up to being ‘oh i made the better choice’. and her father dying while getting her chicken and trying to get an investment to not let his daughter go hungry and to bring his family together.
to him making up a character that got her through hard times. and then trying to find him again. this is going to be great. and i know i’m going to be devastated bc she fell in love with the other man to begin with, and now she will see this new person.
soooooo much happened and i’m clearly not ready.

this was a stellar episode. from both teams using the same data set and coming up with wildly different ideas to samsan tech almost crashing down. but setting a fire to dosan to do better and be more ambitious. i’m so excited.
our girl killed her presentation yes queen. you got this. the fact that the boys created a whole new software. these folks would be crazy to not invest.
this alex guy really believes in them i’m excited to see if there will be rivalry between the two hot shot ceo’s
the fact that her grandma doesn’t regret not sending her to college but rather regrets not meeting him earlier to support and encourage him made me cry.

this was a great episode. so much happened in the development of their little company. disorder and disagreements led to stronger relations within the company.
i love how she picked the mentor. like yup i know alex is the biggest deal since slice bread but you’re our homie.
the fact that dosan was ready to come clean about the letters but overheard the grandmother get a sad report from the doctors and wanted to protect her and her granddaughter. so sad.

i really need more than a second male lead for this man. i can’t stand the way he looks at her. he loves her and is trying so hard to shut off his heart to her.
i love the bickering between the two male leads. like seriously hilarious.
i love the sweet relationship that nam dosan will now have with her grandmother. and i love the idea concept he had for their business. a beautiful heart behind the machine.
dosan standing up for her and standing against this horrible man out to exploit their talent.
this ending scene i can’t. they’re cute too. and precious.
he kept the plant and is going to give it nutrients to keep it well. please do the same with your relationship with her honey.

While you will spot similarities (as they are under the same company per se, that also means the manufacturer who creates the merch has things set up for not just one specific artists always) its how they do make it unique for said fandom. It is the first round of the new hybe rebranding so let's see how it goes for sure! I have some minor worries but I'm being optimistic! Oohhh that si also a good idea! I do know bighit did this for bts and school luv affair if memory is correct. The re-released that album for its anniversary as limited edition and I think there was some small merch for it as well. I do think that will be cool for the boys as well but as you said, we may have some minor issues with the repriting. Sometimes that can be solved but other times that cannot so sadly we don't know. I believe you can(?) Still get their older albums. Granted last time I saw this was during oh my era so I haven't checked since then via online stores.

I think doing rings isn't a bad idea but it could have been a bit more unique to "carats" so have the ring be in either the official svt colors (so one in serenity and another in rose quartz) with something like "say the name! Carats!" Engraved into the ring, that would be I think a cute idea? A way to connect to the boys while being something unique? Of course it could be a bracelet or a necklace with a small pink or pastel blue diamond instead with a little charm with the engraving I suggested. Being too close to the rings the boys wear I think is slightly stepping lines but making a ring that is different but related to svt would be a good balance? Again just my suggestions (which am curious on your followers on what other merch would you like to see? I feel like you could so so much here! Just please no more plastic water bottles xD)

yeah i have hope for merch in the future as well! as far as old albums go i just bought my first "old" album this summer which was YMMDay and I ended up getting it used... a lot of sites have YMMDay and other old SVT albums listed but they're all sold out and as far as I know pledis isn't still printing new albums except for those on weverse shop (so like an ode onward. although i just checked and an ode and hitorijanai are sold out on WV shop too rn, idk if that's temporary or if they're permanently sold out too...). honestly this is why I'll probably keep buying svt's albums as they come out just so if i want them in the future i don't have to search for it, in hindsight i really wish I had just bought YMMDay back when it came out 😭

Ikemen Revolution Part 5 - Edgar Bright Route
Kindaaa feel like the guys who tried to steal the heroine’s stuff (she needs her original clothes etc to go back to London) were ordered by Edgar to do that, he sounds dodgy enough hahahahah. I mean, how very convenient that he was there to save her in that forest and her things still ended up missing hmmm. We’ll see~ She started living with the Red Army pretty fast, but I guess if she’ll find her stuff back easier here and the guys are willing to protect her, why not? Zero seems like such a nice guy though, so sweet and kind. Didn’t expect Edgar to be his instructor for sword fighting though.
LOL, the heroine was so cute when Edgar was teasing and flirting with her saying she smelt nice and sweet, and touched her hair saying it might be because of this, and then she gets all embarrassed and touches his hair and then says his hair is much softer and silkier before running away hahaha. I guess if Ray isn’t replying to her letters, then the first letter that was sent in his name to her, agreeing for her to stay here was probably fake~ I assumed so, but yeah, nice to know for sure~ Hmmm, interesting, never seen any of the guys’ families before, so to see Edgar’s uncle who is the former Jack of Hearts is amusing. I like how the heroine has started to go along with his teasing and tries to tease him too, it’s such a cute relationship.
I feel tired just seeing Edgar do all this work and actually bother to get the heroine to help him out when she’s clueless about all the things in this world and constantly needs to ask questions. Guess it’s considerate of him to give her a job to do and help her out when he’s so busy, but I guess he does it all with ease, so even though he’s busy, he’s not too stressed haha. However, if she picks things up fast, then she’ll be a great help to him in this month! So it’s worth it I guess haha. Lmao at Jonah catching Edgar touching her cheek in the room when they’re taking a break from work, it’s so cute how Jonah came because he wanted to have tea with the heroine tomorrow so he wanted to ask what flavour scones she would want hahaha. Lolol at them randomly having a drinking party. I guess because of his duty and burden as a member of the Bright family that cannot leave the king of hearts side, he has never really known freedom or done things that are outside the rules, so I guess meeting the heroine that is optimistic and acts so free reflects his his desires to an extent? Maybe he thinks that if he’s with her, he’ll know what it means to be free.
It was so funny when Edgar gave Lancelot some sweet gummies and they were hiding it from Jonah so they pretended to be innocent. It’s pretty funny how Lancelot just stays stoic so he doesn’t get caught with gummies hahaha. I think it’s pretty cute that Edgar only sincerely smiles when he’s with the heroine, and everyone else except him has noticed it. She’s gotten so close to his heart that he doesn’t even realise that he can’t hide his true feelings and emotions from her. It was pretty funny when the guys congratulated the heroine for being able to actually get Edgar angry, I guess it is quite an achievement lol! I’m happy to see more of Zero in this route, he’s quite a nice and thoughtful guy.
I guess Edgar was the one who gave the heroine the key so that she’ll find out that he’s been lying all along with the fake letter he initially gave her and not giving her the letters that the Black Army gave her. Or I guess it wasn’t him hahaha, since the pin was there and Edgar didn’t take her belongings apparently. I felt sorry for the heroine though, she really believed in Edgar and trusted everything he said, so seeing those letters and seeing how concerned the Black Army were of her without her knowing she was actually being “imprisoned” here must have been pretty crappy to know. Even though she ran away, at least she could still find out how concerned Edgar was over her by telling Luka (they’re school friends!) to go protect her knowing that he can’t go because she’ll just get scared since she doesn’t trust him now.
I don’t know what makes the heroine think Claudius (Edgar’s uncle) is trustworthy if he was the previous Jack of Hearts and raised Edgar and is in frequent contact with him. Like, she’s not even a bit suspicious??? Especially when he has her stolen belongings and Edgar has told her that even though he lied to her, he didn’t take them?? She’s spent much more time with Edgar than Claudius and she thinks the latter should be trustworthy even though they’re related??? I don’t know, heroine… Gotta agree with Claudius though, must be great that she’s so easy to trick hahahaha. I see, ever since a previous Jack of Hearts tried to overthrow the King and Queen of Hearts, the Jack has been tasked with/ punished to do the dirty jobs - behind the scenes scheming and assassinations .Although Lancelot and them have not requested that of Edgar, Claudius trained him to be a capable assassin etc since he was 13 and that’s caused his lack of emotion towards others until he met the heroine. I guess you can say meeting the heroine and spending time with her allowed him to understand what a normal life is.
Even if Edgar thinks that he doesn’t care about anything, the heroine is proof that he does even if he may not realise it. So I’m glad the heroine is trying to convince him that he’s hurting himself if he just listens to Claudius and betrays her and the Red Army. Oh Amon showed his face!! How does he hide all that hair in his hood lol. Glad that the heroine has found out that Edgar was honest and didn’t lie to her when he told her the things he did and didn’t do. It was pretty cool how the heroine threw her purse into the hole that would take her back to London, effectively preventing her from ever going back. She’s really steeled herself to stay in this world with Edgar and build a life together with him huh?
I think it’s reasonable for Edgar to have requested for himself to be put to trial just like Claudius and Amon since he wants to become a “clean” Edgar that is worthy of the heroine I guess. Even if he was forced to, he and his ancestors still killed many people, and also, by doing this trial, they can probably get rid of this tradition for the Jack of Hearts I guess. Considering how Claudius was, I see no reason why he would bother writing that letter saying he orchestrated everything, and technically even if he did, Edgar still killed many people regardless but whatever lol. As long as he’s free now I guess. The good thing though, is that Edgar is a truly remorseful guy that will really carry the burden of his sins for the rest of his life by atoning as the Jack of Hearts and helping to improve the country. That’s really the best way for him to prevent such traditions ever being done again and to positively create a better future where assassinations won’t be allowed anymore.
Ever since I found out Luka and Edgar were actually school mates, I’ve been curious about their relationship and kinda lamented that it was only used to make things more “convenient” for the story in a way, but it’s cool to see them hang out together (with Jonah there of course lol) in a cafe in the romantic ending☺️☺️ How considerate of Luka to bake them a cake in celebration, that was really sweet to see~ It was great to see Edgar so freely and sincerely smile with the heroine, and even play silly games like racing back to the Red Army with her hahaha. Seeing him being able to do light hearted things and not always looking like he’s carrying the burden of the world is certainly refreshing and nice. As the heroine says, even if they make more mistakes in the future, they’ll be there for each other to make up for them and atone for them together now, so Edgar won’t have to be alone anymore and can finally do what he wants to do.
Overall, I think I might have had too high expectations because I saw a lot of people praising this route hahaha, it was still good, but I don’t think it was that good. Mainly because I felt like their relationship was, I don’t know how to say it, inexplicable? Like, it was nice that it showed how peaceful and how normal Edgar’s life could be when the heroine was there, and I could see why he liked her but I guess I could never really get why she liked him? Hahaha, and yeah the heroine was rather meh in this route. Personally, I still think her relationship with Fenrir was the best. Sirius’ route is coming soon (EDIT: Out already and I’m done! :D) so I’m looking forward to that, but otherwise, my temporary ranking for the routes would be, Fenrir, Jonah, Ray, Edgar and then Lancelot! I’d say Ray and Edgar are tied for me, but I prefer Ray’s personality so..hahaha~ Really hope Blanc’s route will come out in the near future though, he’s my all time favourite guy🤣 Oh and Kyle too!

I cannot contain myself so here..
First of all let me say that I want 3 more minutes of the show. We’ve been told the first episode will be 54 minutes and it’s actually a bit less than 51 minutes (that’s including the title sequence) so I’d like to know where those 3 minutes were lost? Is there an extended version out there that I’ve missed?

Ahh ruby is one i keep coming back, like constantly. Its my main song I played so far (right behind tiger inside. I blame minho doing the cover lolol) for the new year and honestly, not complaining. I could do an essay about how much I love the orchestral opening and how it tricks you before it switches 180 on the listener BUT I write way too much as it is so tldr be blessed with musical genius stuff with ruby when listening to it
Oohhh a gfx tutorial would be fun to see (I love seeing how people do their creations, like everyone has their own little dazzle to the steps and it is fun seeing how it becomes the finished product!) But only do it if you wanna and have time! No doubt probably would take time to do one so while I am curious on your process, I can understand if not showing! Lolol tbh your gfx style doesn't seem, like all over the place? (Now mine...we don't talk about them) like they feel like a cohesive style regardless? But agreed!! Groups are bound to have loads of content so you will find one you missed even when active and up to date! Ahh yes, yes!! It feels very special to be like "in on the joke" so to speak. I love watching content where fans edit moments like say a going seventeen episode to make a summary but also include the funny moments. That helped me alot with getting into groups like skz. Also thank you, I can't help but feel annoying at times(?) Especially to you since you have better things to do than to talk to a random potato on anon jdjsjdjjs

I think the way I usually get into groups is slide shows that me and a couple of my friends make. The process of making a slideshow about a group really helps focus on learning things and then receiving slideshows is so fun and a great way to learn ^^ we make them on google docs and then facetime to present them lol. we have so many at this point, for like almost every group we like lol. my skz one is MASSIVE

OZMAFIA!! Part 1 - Caramia Route
Now I can know the basic gist of The Wizard of Oz without reading or watching it lolll! Yes, I have never read/watched it (EDIT: After finishing this game, I read the Wizard of Oz, it was very fun). Ooh okay, heroine is this silver hair guy’s prey huh, yeah that’s a great start to the game and her life I guess lmao. Caramia sounds like a nice guy since he caught her from falling, but he’s with the guy that tripped her so…. But I guess it’s still better than getting caught by the silver hair guy called Caesar? Maybe? Maybe not? I wonder if amnesia is common in otome games hahaha. Every time I hear about Ozmafia, people talk about Axel so I hope he’ll live up to expectations! But Caramia first! Oooh that’s why it’s called Ozmafia!? Literal mafia town?! And Caramia is the head of this Oz family? Hmmmmmm.
Yayyy! I don’t have to think of a name, that’s always the most stressful part for me lmaoo. Fuka is cute btw. Nice to be named by my current favourite boy lolol. Ooh she gets to choose which family she wants to belong to. How nice of them. Robin Hood being a doctor is a very interesting idea. I guess Fuka seems very naive and innocent? Like a little lamb, ready to be devoured by carnivorous men? LOL Axel was rather cute when he felt a bit shy after the heroine thanked him for showing her where her room was lol. The families quarrel for territory from Monday to Saturday but have declared Sunday as a day of peace? How very systematic and interesting.. Caramia looks hot in glasses btw and fyi, I love men who read! Plus points to Caramia!
Soh is a nice boy. Doesn’t like lies and is straightforward. Lmaoo at Caramia asking Axel for money and then he’s like yay, Axel is shouting us food hahaha. Actually, after seeing a close up of Axel, he looks awesome with his glasses, I like, I like! Kyrie sounds wayyy too dodgy for my liking btw lol. Axel is so subtly considerate, I love him. Hmm so Caesar is like part of the rebels that don’t agree with the rules in the town with having to belong to families etc, so I guess he’s like a criminal along with the other people in the slums and outside of the town. Axel got captured by Caesar because he was protecting Fuka? That’s not good. But it was way too reckless of her to go to Caesar herself, how dangerous. I’m happy that Axel called her an idiot for coming to sacrifice herself to hopefully exchange for Axel’s safety. But I’m also happy that he acknowledged that she did it because the Oz family took care of her so well that she couldn’t do nothing. I guess breaking the Compromise (Sunday is a day of peace) is a pretty big deal if all these families would come out to deal with it and kill some of the Wolf Gang members.. so cute how Axel really loves sweets though haha.
Lmao at Fuka thinking Scarlet was a girl hahahah. Didn’t think Soh was part of the Wolf Gang.. I like how Caramia makes breakfast for Kyrie and Fuka quite often hehe. It was really cool when Scarlet came out to protect her when she got into the feud with Gretel and Ande, although it’s true that hurting her could be pretty bad so it was natural for him to do that but it seemed like he did it because he cared for her too XD Lmaoo that one sip of alcohol of whatever Caramia drank knocked her out and he had to carry her home hahahaha. How bold of her to say she loves him while drunk lol. Not that he took it seriously.
Hmmm I feel like all the events and bonding time with the characters were so choppy and insignificant that the only thing Fuka and Caramia really shared was their time together and nothing else, so honestly, I really can’t see why they like each other besides the fact that they like the existence of someone beside them… And even that’s kinda forced because he has Axel and Kyrie to keep him company lol. Caramia’s character is rather shallow and the world itself is shallow as well even though it has such an interesting premise sigh.. the story is just like things happening in a world and it could have been anywhere because it doesn’t even really matter. And so yeah, if the guys are shallow, you can imagine how much of a blank board Fuka is. She has no particular thoughts or emotions that are relevant to the story or even to the guys! She’s never said anything about liking Caramia or particularly showing any special affection towards him so I have no idea when they ever considered each other to be the one they like. I feel like Axel and Fuka show the most affectionate emotions towards each other lol. And what about the Oz premise?! Caramia’s the lion so isn’t there going to be anything about that? Is it literally just a setting for us to have three guys? What is all this untapped potential considering this interesting world? Sigh… Also, the amount of loading screens in this game are killing me.
I don’t know what I’d do if I ever found my future boyfriend hugging a woman near a brothel… Strangling him for the truth might be a good idea😅 how could he let her go like that so easily?! I know he’s trying to be considerate that he can’t spend much time with her but he knew that in the first place! He shouldn’t have confessed if he’s so weak willed about it! And she has the right to decide what she wants to do! She has the right to decide whether she doesn’t mind continuing to cry but trying to make this relationship work! Good that she said what I thought but really, I don’t feel like Fuka really has much emotion lol and really only does things because.. that’s her character lol. But wow, she’s really silly to go out at night to surprise Caramia considering how dangerous it is at night, poor Caramia though, he has to bear the guilt of accidentally shooting her… I don’t feel sorry for her, but I feel sorry for him… But omg, I feel like sometimes she’s so clueless and weirdly optimistic that I want to smack her, I think I’m starting to understand why people don’t like Fuka now…And this is my first route… Like, a lot of heroines are optimistic but you can see why they are in their personalities, for Fuka, she’s like this hollow shell that’s just a ball of optimism for no reason and that’s the only feeling she exudes.
I feel like the flow of the story is so haphazard, but I do have to admit that Caramia reverting back to the cowardly lion he was is hilarious, it’s so cute hahaha. How cliche that the power of love in trying to save Fuka from Hamelin got his courage back lol. Very basic route (Pure love vs Axel) and ending for this happy one lol. I guess the happy ending is when the guy overcomes his fears (which in this case is his cowardly personality) and the bittersweet ending is when he can’t overcome it but Fuka stays beside him regardless. The cowardly Caramia is pretty funny though, I mean he still went to save her from Hamelin regardless so I think that’s cool enough but seeing Caramia scared of every little thing made me couldn’t help but think he’s so adorable.
(Pure love vs Kyrie) Kinda like how this one shows Caramia consulting Kyrie on his love problems about whether he really likes Fuka or not, so it’s much easier to tell that Caramia really does like her, rather than the above where I felt like she got along with Axel more than Caramia lmao. So cute that Caramia doesn’t like baths and the heroine forced him to take one hahahha. I like how he’s trying to get used to taking baths because the heroine likes him clean hahahaha. So, does Caramia think her scent is similar to Dorothy’s? It’s good that he doesn’t think of her as a replacement haha. But lmaooo, Axel is so funny and cute, I can imagine him getting married just because he wants a giant wedding cake hahahaha. Anyway, besides the extra interactions and changing the second focus from Axel to Kyrie, the gist of the story is the same. Personally, I love Axel’s personality but in terms of story and development of Caramia and Fuka’s love, I’d say Kyrie’s one shows more of how much Caramia actually likes her or maybe it’s because I finished one route so I can see Caramia’s perspective now?
(Axel triangle) Caramia eats so much! Lmaoo at him going to to Robin because he ate 2 litres of ice cream hahahaha. HAHAHA, Axel is so cute to be that excited about Caramia’s pancakes, apparently they’re the best in town and are so fluffy! I’m jealous! It’s always kinda funny that Axel is usually so whatever and just follows orders most of the time but when it comes to sweets, he’s so adorable haha. Aww Axel is fond of cats, he’s such a softie, kinda like Caramia haha. Lmaooo at Kyrie offering Axel’s backup snacks to Fuka because she’s hungry and Axel is like no, until Kyrie says what if she starves to death. And then..omg😂 Axel gives it to her and says “please don’t die” LOLL, I’m sure she won’t die that easily Axel lmaooo. Omgg when the heroine said Axel was the most important person to her though, kyaa Axel!🤣 Chocolate river is a great idea, Axel! I’d love that! Danggg Axel can cook too, awesome! Maybe everyone can except Fuka lmao. Dorian and Caramia were talking about how a prostitute was poisoned and Dorian said he was sad that his goods was hurt so does that mean he’s the brothel owner?! But now, I see why Caramia was with a prostitute, he was trying to get info on the street slasher that’s been killing a lot of people in town and she knew some stuff about it.
OMG, I’M SO SHOCKED. I can’t believe she just did it with Axel… Like his confession was really cute and romantic but you haven’t even properly broken up with Caramia yet Fuka! You can’t just jump into another guy’s arms even if you do like him too! At least tell Caramia first! Omggg, gonna die from the drama that will ensue.. I feel so sorry for Caramia… But lining up for crepes with Axel does sound so nice…. I can understand Axel’s perspective in being careful with words and stuff though, since wounds of the heart hurt much more and cannot be seen unlike physical wounds. I thought Kyrie would be the possessive type but I guess that’s Axel lol, well at least he’s honest that he knows it’s bad but can’t help it?
I was gonna say it was so inconsiderate for Axel and Fuka to consult Caramia about Axel’s overflowing love and possessiveness towards Fuka and then Caramia got controlled by Hamelin’s music and like nearly killed Axel! Crazyyyy! And then ughhh I hate how the stories and scenes don’t flow properly, it’s like, Axel defeats Hamelin and is stuck in the fire with serious wounds but it doesn’t bother to address how he got out of that and spent the next year’s festival with Fuka. It’s like as if it never happened. Like whaaat. But anyway, I guess these love triangle routes are interesting? I mean, it’s like, you’re chasing Caramia but because your heart wavers, you end up with some other guy even though you’ve consciously been going to meet Caramia every week lollll. I don’t even know if that’s good, I’d feel so weird. But whatever I guess, Axel’s cute?
Lmaoo when he asked if she’s a cat or dog person, and that he read in a book that it’s a surefire way to start a conversation🤣🤣 I hate this triangle idea but Axel is so cute. Omggg so adorable when he asked to hold her hand because his glasses broke so he can’t seeee! There is no end to his adorableness as well, especially when he took off his glasses and said that this way, he can continue holding her hand. Like dude, how much more adorable can you get?! I’d attack him too if I was Fuka lmaoo.
(Kyrie Triangle) My heart breaks for Caramia…. He tried so hard to look normal and support her and Kyrie… Whereas Kyrie was like so intent on stealing her from Caramia from quite a while ago… At least Axel in his triangle route just wanted to make her happy and he felt that he could more than Caramia. Kyrie is just so…. inconsiderate and uncaring for Caramia’s feelings. But I see why Kyrie is interested in Fuka I guess, can’t feel the romance but I can feel that he’s bored and the mystery of her existence without being able to find traces of her past is interesting. Like where did she come from…
Hmm guess it’s kinda the same as the other triangle with Caramia being controlled by Hamelin’s flute and attacking Kyrie. It’s also nice to know that he likes her because it’s fun. He has always been a person that calculates everything ahead and is logical but when he’s with her, he can’t predict what she would do and how reckless she would be next I guess lmao. Not sure if that’s good but cool lol.
I like Kyrie’s story about when he was a scarecrow though! It’s kinda cute that he’s got two different eye colours and the right one always changes depending on his mood (guess he’s like a mood ring lolol) because, back when he was a scarecrow the old man who made him didn’t put his hat on properly and rain kept washing away his painted eye, but the old man would always repaint it making it different colours lol. But now I understand why he always wears gloves and a hat! I kept thinking why does he when it’s so awkward and ugly lmao. There was a proper reason! I apologise. I’m surprised Fuka is so terrible at cooking though, it’s probably a talent in itself.
Wow, Fuka said she wanted peace in this town and Kyrie interpreted it as him might as well lessening the amount of mafia families, so basically the less families, the less conflict and that will create peace. Not sure if that’s what she meant Kyrie but whatever rolls for you I guess. Aaand it ended abruptly lol. I think the biggest problem I have with Ozmafia is how choppy and unconnected the scenes are from each other, it really doesn’t flow well at all and you really lose your bearings on what’s happening because of it, and the dreaded loading screen too of course lol.
Anyway, I feel like for more bits and pieces to come together, you have to read the different routes but since the story isn’t very detailed or good anyway, it doesn’t matter lol. I’d just recommend pure love vs Kyrie for Caramia’s story. I think that was the nicest one. Otherwise if you don’t mind the guys “stealing” Fuka from Caramia, Axel triangle route is adorable. I honestly don’t want to do the triangle routes too much because it makes me feel uncomfortable seeing the guy sad that Fuka goes with another guy… But I’m also a completionist so… Sigh. Anyway, Kyrie story next~ not a fan of him but let’s go!
