Part 1 features Y/N’s interview on Howard Stern, he’s a bit of a bastard. This part follows what happens when its published, including Harry and Y/N messaging for the first time, and Y/N getting a bit of revenge.

(speaking of which we’re obviously just pretending that Y/N wrote Wet Dream instead of Wet Leg lol)

Today, Y/N’s Howard Stern interview was being published to YouTube. She was equal parts nervous and excited. Stern’s questions had been pretty uncomfortable, but she felt good about how she handled them and was pleased that she’d embarassed him a bit.

An hour after her interview with Howard Stern was published, Y/N let herself switch her phone back on. Watching her phone, waiting for the first comments to arrive underneath the video would’ve been torturous. But now, the first swathe of comments had been posted, she allowed herself to have a look. Happily, her fans agreed about Howard’s behaviour, and thought her responses had been pretty great.

@/harryynfan “she said she collabs with people if they have a shared experience, i feel like being interviewed by howard stern counts as shared trauma, so single released when?”

The comments about Harry Styles were equally nice to see, there were times when their fans seemed to pit them against each other, but the large overlap between their two fandoms seemed to be loving her defense of him.

After allowing herself a little time to reply to some fans, she closed the app and turned off Do Not Disturb mode. Instantly, her phone buzzed with notifications, despite having most of them turned off (she couldn’t afford to be notified every time someone tweeted about her after all). Most she could ignore, but one in particular caught her eye.

Well this was unexpected. She’d expected, naturally, that he’d end up hearing about her interview, especially since he’d been interviewed by the same man. But she hadn’t thought it’d be this quick. Before her brain could start worrying about whether she way about to be told off by a fellow musician, she clicked the message to open it.

Harry: Hi, I just watched your interview with Howard Stern. I hope you’re doing ok, it took me a whole week to recover from mine.

Y/N: Hey, nice to hear from you! I’m just glad I managed to hold my ground a bit, he was really trying to wear me down.

Harry: Ha, yeah. You definitely did better than me on that front. I feel like he walked all over me in my interview with him

Y/N: I watched yours to prepare me, I can’t lie. He was notoriously rough with you. Don’t beat yourself up about it though you got your point across to your fans in the interview and that’s what’s important.

Harry: Cheers, I appreciate that.

Harry: Listen, I just wanted to thank you for defending me. I know it must be super annoying always being asked about me, so the fact that you still stood up for means a lot.

Y/N: No need to thank me seriously, the mans a bigot!

Y/N: And hey, there are definitely worse people one could be compared to :)

Harry: Well, I wanted to thank you anyway. I really admire you and your work.

Y/N: You flatterer, haha.

She was relieved that he didn’t think she’d overstepped by defending him. It made her feel even more confident in her little revenge plan...

After the interview she’d been seething with anger at Howard Stern, the industry in general for holding him to such regard despite being such an arsehole and her management for persuading her to go on the show in the first place.

As musicians are wont to do, she channeled this outrage into a song which she recorded on the spot in her garden, so she wouldn’t forget it. After showing it to her agent, not thinking much of the song, she was persuaded to release the song on her Instagram feed. It would probably never be a single, but she was known for posting unfinished songs and covers online from time to time, so it would hardly be out of character. She’d been surprised that her agent had agreed to it, as the song quite directly referenced the interview, but her agent was just as pissed off about it as she was.

She opened her messages to Harry back up.

Y/N: Now listen, how do you feel about revenge

Harry:... I feel I should be worried

Y/N: Well its not revenge against you, it’s revenge against King Bigot himself.

Harry: In that case be my guest.

Y/N: Check my insta page in two mins

I didn't realize Tsunoda was such a divisive person for f1 fans 😭😭

I think he's a bit underrated in the sense that he has solid driving skills and gets overlooked by his teammates that are always brought in to give that leadership role rb doesn't believe he has, but he's overrated because his fanbase is extremely aggressive over him and they sometimes treat him as "aww he's so cute" yk?

but i don't see him driving for rb any time soon, i do think he still needs to grow a bit more and channel his attitude into his driving more (i do think people overreact on his attitude tho, just look at the other 19 drivers they're all adrenaline fueled freaks 💀)

His attitude reminds me a bit of young seb, they were both a bit reckless and careless with their words and you could see the bit of arrogance shining through but i think he's improved a lot

I am, ngl, a bit of a Yuki “hater”. Not for any other reason than I want Toro Rosso to be a proper junior team and he’s taking up one of the few seats that has traditionally been given to rookies. I think any time you have someone who’s there in perpetuity, same as Lance Stroll, the scrutiny becomes more intense. It’s unfair but it’s also natural. More people complain that Yuki doesn’t deserve his seat than complain about Zhou, for example, when imo they’re kind of on the same level driver wise - solid on a good day, not setting the timing sheets alight.

I don’t think he’s a possibility for RB. They put in the work with him for a while, by moving him to Faenza and getting him a mental coach, but I think they’ve made their mind up by now that he’s not what they’re looking for and I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve “quiet quit” on developing him. Regardless, I don’t think he has the skills to get to RB. He could do well hanging out in the lower midfield but there’s enough drivers already doing that, so I don’t see what he would uniquely bring to a team. For that reason I don’t really think he’s underrated.

I think people overreact to all the drivers’ “tempers” in the car. So they swear, big deal. Saying “stop fucking talking to me” is not the same as saying “you are a piece of shit”, the radios are not really directed at the engineers personally, and sometimes that kind of inflection is necessary to get the gravity of the stress across. Drive at 300kph and have someone talking to you or a feeling of instability and see how politely you manage to talk to someone. Yuki may swear a bit more than average but that’s just his personality on adrenaline, Lando’s personality on adrenaline is a whiny bitch. All drivers say they listen back to their radios and cringe. Judging people when you are hearing them at their most vulnerable is…a bit of a take, imo.

I never really had a poor opinion of Yuki until him doing that nonsense in Bahrain. And it was indeed nonsense. For you to careen your €15m piece of equipment, that 100s of people spent thousands of hours building for you, into your teammates €15m piece of equipment that 100s of people spent thousands of hours building for him, because you’re annoyed about a decision made by someone who’s not in the car, for no real gain or loss (no points available), is really poor behaviour. Yes, adrenaline, but if your adrenaline makes you dangerous then you’re in the wrong profession, buddy.

I never found Yuki arrogant at all, I think he’s always come across really matter of fact, quite honest, I love always thought he’s conducted himself really well in interviews etc., but that Bahrain stunt was embarrassing for him. And as for people saying he’s in contention for the RB seat…let him try doing that to Max in an RB20, he would be gone quicker than Gasly.

I agree with you though, I really didn’t think he was divisive until I saw the real crazy come out after the Bahrain incident. I saw a bit of it when deVries was around but Nyck was rude af about Yuki so I understood it. But I didn’t know people had strong opinions on him either way until recently.

I often wonder about the live, the one where JK brought up the come see my cat in front of RM. During the live JK mentioned Jimin passing out in a teasing way and Jimin playfully slapped JK, but Tae straight up Hyung'd out on JK. He got serious and scolded JK & jumped to Jimin's defense, then Vmin high fived. LMAOOOO. I often wonder how the cult felt watching Tae jump to Jimin's defense when JK was involved. He does pull the hyung card on JK alot. Like calling JK a punk/brat & telling him to take his glasses off in the Vminkook live and the cult tried to say he called him Honey/Darling, cause it sounded similar. LMAO Every korean still side eyeing Tkk to this day, cause he def did not say honey/darling/baby. He flat out called him a punk/brat & realized he swore at him and grabbed his mouth cause he knew it wasn't polite and on cam. Even JM reacted a bit. JK is the only member Tae has rank over, so yeah, he tends to pull the Hyung card alot.

The morning after 26/12/2022

It’s like nothing happened. He’s apparently conveniently forgotten his previous day’s behaviour. I said to him the truth comes out when you’re drunk but he denies this. So I say it was all fake flattery then? He says no he does want to take me out. Well I still have zero interest in that. He continues to act like everything’s normal and that we’re friends. We’re not, he was rude to me yesterday whether he remembers or not, I still want nothing to do with him and he calls me weird for that.

I’ve had enough of toxic people taking advantage of me, my kindness and trampling all over my boundaries. I literally walked out my aunts house a couple days ago for this exact reason and then I have to come home to another horrible person. I’ve cut her off for being nasty to me and I can do the same to Lenny. Just like her he’s delusional about how he behaves and thinks he’s nice. When will these people learn?

He says he only wants to be friends with people that share the same values and who’s views align with his, this does not include his ‘friend’ that was here on Christmas. It does however include me but the same way he feels about that guy is how I feel about him. He does not hold the same values that I respect therefore I don’t care to have him as a friend. He also hides me so why would I want to be his friend? He says he respects me and wants me as a friend but the only thing he doesn’t agree with is my attitude towards sexual relationships. Funny he wasn’t complaining when he was having sex though was he? He accuses me of sleeping around, something he himself used to do too and acts as though it’s ongoing. I would love to know when where and how I’m getting all this imaginary dick. The guy literally lives with me and sees me spending most of my time at home. I’m not out every weekend at the club but he will still paint me with the whore brush insinuating that I’d fuck his friend. Then he’ll wonder why I don’t like him as a person? If I dare try to go out looking nice it’s apparently for the male gaze and surely not to just make myself look presentable.

He’s deeply and disgustingly insecure as he said posting selfies on instagram or even on your whatsapp profile is attention seeking and somehow it’s a woman’s fault if men approach her. He really sat there saying when I changed my picture didn’t men message me? As if I have control over that! And that if his girlfriend already has men commenting under her picture why should he say anything nice. Oh I dunno, maybe to pay your gf a fucking compliment cos you’re the person who’s supposed to actually matter??

He really was right in admitting he’s such a fucking loser, I absolutely feel so sorry for the next woman who doesn’t know what kind of insecure toxic wasteman she’s getting involved with. I wish he’d just leave women alone. He knows he’s a loser so why is he bothering them?

more thoughts about why i like kilen wang:

so most rich guy dramas that ive watched (probs from late 2000s, early 2010s kdrama, so pretty outdated) feature the guy being a huge douchebag to everyone in general, even the main chara/protag, with an insufferable ego and he only changes his attitude when he falls for the protag and even then not really (hes still mostly an asshat and he only really treats the protag w bare minimum respect)

so thats the kind of impression i have and ive always loathed that sort of rich dude because its flat af for storytelling and mostly bc im not a fan of boring assholes bc they are garden variety and u find one if u throw a stone

HOWEVER cutie pie gives us kilen wang who is presented to us as that typical rich guy asshole stereotype, only to turn that on its head and give us a wonderfully developed love interest chara of a protag whose behaviours, motivations and choices MAKE SENSE

the story establishes lian as someone who worked his way up from the bottom, and believes in equal opportunity and thats in line w the way he treats foei and the various service staff charas thru the drama. hes never rude, although hes def aloof, distant and keeps work purely as work. i find the "friendly, caring boss" stereotype a little concerning in the way its portrayed in dramas/fiction sometimes and we get lian, who looks out for his company staff without dragging them unnecessarily into his personal life

which, u may argue, but bruce, he gets foei to do all sorts of things!! yeah, foei is his PA, he gets foei to do all sorts of stuff and he DID unfortunately forget himself and make out with kuea in front of foei a couple of times but he never trauma dumps or makes foei do his emotional labour for him, which is a LOT more than i can say for a ton of charas in media who dont seem to realize their subordinates are not automatically their therapists

i also absolutely love that lian has self awareness, enough to pick up on the problems between him and kuea and realize the severity of them, and want to make changes where feasibly possible. he doesnt faff around blaming others or FUCK FORBID kuea for the shit that happens to him as a person. (from what i recall) he never puts the responsibility of his feelings or the shitty situations he ends up in on kuea. he always owns that shit (thank yi for also constantly calling him out) and makes the change. its phenomenal for me, in a male love interest chara of a protag.

does this mean lian is perfect or an ideal of a man? hell nah. he is flawed af. he makes unilateral decisions for him and kuea's relationship. as much as he has the best intentions, he overly monitors kuea's life and isnt honest about the shit he gets up to. are these behaviours understandable? yeah. but thats not the same as acceptable. still, at the end of the day, its realistic bc actual ppl do have flaws like that and ppl who love ppl make stupid ass decisions all the fucking time. lian is nuanced and we learn enough about him that he stands alone as a character, not merely a plot device who pushes the romance plot along, an idea of a person that the protag is projecting on

tbh i'm so confused about what makes naruto a bootlicker. disregarding boruto, while naruto always wanted to protect civilians in konoha he doesn't show care about the state overall and he defied danzo aka the hokage to protect sasuke. he shows 0 respect and is outright rude to all his superiors like tobirama for example. he wants to be accepted but he doesn't care to appease people in power for personal gain and he shows acts of defiance a lot especially for sasuke, he isn't obedient at all imo

i think you made a valid point, anon.

i believe it’s more of a narrative problem than a problem with the character itself, though it still has a bit to do with him.

naruto wants to be hokage, which means being a part of the system we know it’s failed. he wants to be head of the system. i’ve said in the character ask game and i’m gonna basically copy&paste it that i think part of naruto’s development should’ve been him realising his dream about being hokage started because people couldn’t give him basic human decency and he just wanted respect (which he’d gotten later, even though it was hypocritical of people because he had to almost die for it), and i know he grew to think he wanted to be hokage because he wanted to protect everyone (because the hokage is the strongest in the village). you can say that “but he doesn’t want to be hokage to propagate the same system, he wants to be for these other reasons” and it’s true, but i also think, since it’s such an important position, that he should’ve put more thought into it, into what it means being hokage, and not simply repeat itachi’s dumb words “becoming hokage doesn’t mean people will acknowledge you, but when the people acknowledge you, you can become hokage”. so i think it’s a matter of character development regarding naruto, but it also is a matter of itachi’s bad writing and the narrative trying to shove him down our throats too.

you can say naruto is aligned with konoha but i also don’t think naruto is 100% aligned with konoha’s ideas, him saying he wanted to change things, that he didn’t want to be a mere tool, even though he didn’t know how exactly, gives us the idea that he’s not okay with the implications of the shinobi system, how you become a tool for the state and how it lets many people, including children, suffer.

what the narrative also does, and that’s not naruto’s (the character) fault is putting the whole morality revolving around him. sasuke has valid points about the shinobi system and his own way of wanting to change it, but he’s in the wrong for that, because naruto’s way is the right one, because there is the will of fire from the love of the senjus (good) vs the curse of hatred from the uchihas (bad) and naruto must save sasuke. when naruto is aligned with konoha, it means the way of konoha is the right one. but again, that’s on the narrative.

what people also don’t like, and i find it that iffy af, it’s how they didn’t reveal the uchiha massacre, and how naruto agreed with itachi to not reveal it, which i find weirdly ooc, considering naruto almost told people about the massacre just to defend sasuke before being stopped by kakashi. i again think itachi spreads bad writing everywhere he goes, and i believe his interactions with both naruto and sasuke during war made their characters worse, but that’s not the case here.

what you said in therms of naruto’s behaviour made sense to me, and it also has the fact of naruto wanting to change things, wanting sasuke to change things with him and not being pro everything konoha stand for, but i think this whole thing needed better writing too

For the full story, you first need a bit of background: if you’ve been following me for a while then you will be aware I have called out @ayeforscotland’s racism several times. I would recommend reading this post for a full explanation.

In addition to the incidences mentioned in the post I have just linked, ayeforscotland has also had interactions with neo @androidgynes who is Romani and another person who is black (but didn’t want to be named) and they’ve both also called him out for his racism.

Anyway so. @androidgynes saw that lesbiansandgayssupporttheminers was reblogging from ayeforscotland, and that the op of the post was @/getpoliticaluk (who defends incest). Androidgynes messaged lesbiansandgayssupporttheminers (who I will from now refer to as lagstm) and informed her that ayeforscotland is racist and getpoliticaluk defends incest - the conversation that followed went like this. (the below screenshots are posted with permission from @androidgynes)

The post that neo (@androidgynes) linked of mine was this. And I mean... clearly that particular post by ayeforscotland was very racist, he literally just sat there laughing about anti-black racism as if it was a joke. When @mangopickled tried to speak to him about how offensive this post was, he removed her comments from the notes of the post (like. to be clear: ayeforscotland, a WHITE MAN, made a post about racism, and then removed a WOMAN OF COLOUR’S commentary from that post when she told him that his comments were inappropriate). When I saw that, I called that out, and he blocked me. There’s many levels to his racism here that I don’t have the energy to explain, and if you don’t understand why it’s so problematic then you should probably stop reading here cos you clearly know nothing and probably care even less about anti-racism.

So on that particular post that neo linked to lagstm, there is ayeforscotland being racist, and 2 woc calling out his racism. And yet on having this post shown to her, this is how she chose to respond

lagstm literally says that she thinks my views on racism lack nuance. I am a woman of colour, I am visibly muslim, and I’ve experienced racism pretty much all my life. And here is a white woman saying that she thinks my views on racism “lack nuance”. I,, I genuinely don’t have words to convey how angry this makes me. Literally who does she even think she is. Not even is it racist to dismiss my literal LIVED experience of being a woman of colour in this country, but she is literally saying “look at these stupid brown folk, they don’t know what they’re talking about cos they’re so stupid :)”

neo points out firstly that as a white person lagstm doesn’t have the right to make that call, and also that there is ofc another woc on that post saying that exact same thing, and androidgynes themselves are roma. lagstm is not just dismissing me as a stupid savage who is too stupid to form complex thoughts, but she is also indirectly saying the same thing about 2 other poc, and saying that her judgement, as a white person, is more sound than all of ours.

It’s also worth mentioning that neo, who is Romani, was polite to lagstm during this exchange, and lagstm was rude and dismissive. I find this deeply hypocritical. Lagstm has been talking a lot about the policing bill and how it will affect GRT communities, but when she’s talking to someone who is actually *from* the Roma community, she is dismissive and condescending. All this shows is that she’s fake AF. She pretends to care about the Roma community on her blog and then speaks down to them in private.

And again this is worth repeating: AYEFORSCOTLAND WAS BEING RACIST ON THAT POST. IT WAS RACIST. WHAT HE SAID WAS RACIST. So lagstm isn’t just ignoring 3 poc, she is also ignoring,,,, you know,,, the actual racism,,,

And she also says ayeforscotland is borderline racist? Like she acknowledges ayeforscotland is borderline racist but she’s still happy to follow him? Like that alone would be enough for me actually

neo then blocked lagstm and messaged me and told me what happened, and showed me the above screenshots - btw prior to this neo and I had never interacted. Anyway I was obviously a bit disgusted but instead of going straight to blocking lagstm or making a callout post straight away, I messaged her to explain herself and take back what she said. That is now two poc who tried to resolve the matter privately - clearly a lot more than lagstm ever deserved. Androidgynes messaged me last Friday, and I messaged lagstm the next day on Saturday

My convo with lagstm went as follows:

So you can see that initially she was apologetic and said she “didn’t mean to imply that that my judgement on racism was flawed” (even tho that’s literally what she said) and defended herself by saying “I react poorly in interactions like this” - genuinely not a defence but whatever. She then proceeded to say that what she doesn’t trust my opinion on is Scotland and Ireland - which completely irrelevant. Firstly I am ambivalent to Scottish nationalism and have always said I don’t know much about it, and I support the reunification of Ireland. And secondly, my issue with aye has got literally nothing to do with Scotland or Scottish nationalism; he is racist all on his own. And the post neo linked was barely even about scottish nationalism, it was just him being anti-black. So lagstm saying “I don’t trust your judgement on Scotland and Ireland” is ridiculous considering that Scottish/Irish nationalism have nothing to do with this.

Like akjfbkjdfbs this is actually so ridiculous. It doens’t make any sense. Lagstm clearly says “I don’t trust pakisstani’s judgement on THIS issue [the issue being racism] and her views on THIS issue [the issue being racism] lack nuance” but now turns around and says “I wasn’t talking about racism, I was talking about Scotland/Ireland” like she must really think I’m dumb

And you can see Lagstm bringing up unrelated hypothetical scenarios, and saying “in this situation, you can’t tell me to defer to poc” which i found ??? Like why are you bringing up scenarios in which you think you are allowed to educate us poor and stupid black and brown folk?? I then told her she was straw-manning and that her points about Ireland/Scotland were ridiculous, but then she claimed it was me that was engaging her in bad faith. Like SHE, the white woman who practically said that I am too stupid to understand racism, and when confronted on it started straw-manning and bringing up unrelated scenarios, said I am not engaging her in good faith. AFTER both neo and I tried to speak to her privately about this. Like I tried to speak to her privately AFTER I FOUND OUT SHE HAD SAID RACIST THINGS ABOUT ME. BUT I’M NOT ENGAGING HER IN GOOD FAITH? LMAOOO

And then the accusation about rape threats which is actually the most disgusting part of this entire thing. I shouldn’t have to explain that accusing 2 poc of conspiring to send her rape threats (without any evidence whatsoever. Frankly I think she’s lying about the rape threats 🤷🏽‍♀️ it’s quite a transparent attempt to distract from her own nasty behaviour and deflect onto us) is actually extremely racist. She is invoking her white fragility and painting me and androidgynes as aggressors who are threatening her safety and inflicting/threatening to inflict sexual violence on her. It is beyond disgusting 🤮

What’s more, neo is trans, so when lagstm is baselessly accusing them of issues related to rape, she is also playing up to transphobic tropes.

One more thing worth mentioning is that there are several lies peppered throughout lagstm’s comments. Firstly when she claimed to have briefly unfollowed me - she didn’t actually. I was checking regularly, and she never unfollowed me. This was a small lie that I picked up on striaght away but because it wasn’t relevant I didn’t say anything about it. But I just think it’s interesting that she would lie for no reason. And another lie - feigning ignorance about ayeforscotland’s racism, and actually even asking for receipts is incredibly disingenuous when on this particular post, if you scroll through the notes, you can see she has literally liked it. Like she had already seen the posts where me and mangopickled called out his racism and literally LIKED it, and when neo says to lagstm that aye is racist, lagstm says “receipts please :)” YOU’VE ALREADY SEEN THEM! AND LIKED THEM! screenshot in case she unlikes it (sorry for including dumb comments by dumb scots but i need to prove it’s the same post so):

LASTLY. Last point I swear. When lagstm said “it was also coloured by the statements they’d made about another tumblr user, which didn’t relate to racism, which I didn’t address with them because I didn’t want to upset them” <- she must mean getpoliticaluk defending incest? So like what is lagstm saying here, she didn’t want to bring up that she also herself defends incest?? Like is she tryna say she’s a pro-shipping freak?????????????????????? What other way is there to read that statment

Okay that’s everything.

I’m not interested in discourse on this post - if you are white and think lagstm isn’t racist or you’re inclined to defend her then save your breath, I don’t need white people telling me what is or isn’t racist. I gave her the chance to defend herself, which is way more than she deserves, and this is how she responds. Her actions and indefensible and she can choke ☺️❤️ I will be unfollowing/blocking anyone I see reblogging from her because I deserve better than to follow people who are ok with racists ❤️

Hey zal, how do you plan on differentiating stefan and damon's behaviour in the datherine and stelena relationships respectively. I mean, stefan knew that damon and katheine were in a physical relationship when he decided to confess his love for her. I ain't saying that damon's repititive self assertion on elena is romantic. So i will stick to that one point in 4.07 where he made out with elena on the same day of stefan's breakup. It was rude af, but stefan made out katherine too, when he knew that damon was involved with her. Maybe i am drawing parallels bw wrong scenes. You could correct me.

Was stefan wrong? If he was, so is damon. Both cared about the girls more than each other.

Even if this was correct, I would still say it’s not comparable because it ignores that the whole point is that Katherine was the one who was always in control and was the one who chose who to be with at what time, which is why we get lines like this:

It also ignores the heavy implication that even in contemporary times, Stefan doesn’t know the full story but I’ll get to that later.

So this is something I’ve seen Damon fans struggle with: Damon may have been physical with Katherine first but he wasn’t with Katherine first, meaning that the first Salvatore Katherine actually shows interest in, the Salvatore Katherine actually picks (even before the retcon in 5x11) is Stefan, right when she shows up to the Salvatore Mansion for the very first time in 1864:

and Damon knows this because he sees it:

But Stefan hesitates

so despite seeing this attraction, Damon goes after her and puts himself in the running:

But even when Damon and Katherine have a sexual relationship

she says that she will be lonely without Damon when he leaves for the war and he says that Stefan will keep her company so she says

Which indicates that she was still seeing Stefan, still being courted by Stefan, still in some kind of entanglement with Stefan, she just got dicked down by Damon first. This is further proven when Stefan takes Katherine to the ball, he says this:

Him saying that he’s in competition for her affections means that he thinks that both he and Damon are trying to win her hand so he actually didn’t know they were together, he didn’t know that Damon was behind the door, listening to everything,

he didn’t know they’d been physical:

At the point of the Founders Ball, Stefan thinks that a choice between the two of them still exists

whereas Damon actually makes fun of Stefan for being so forward because he’s in on something that Stefan isn’t, which is that he’s already fucking Katherine

It isn’t until after they have sex and she compelled him that Stefan realizes that she had a plan for a coerced polyamorous relationship all along

and it’s repeatedly shown in the series that both in 1864 and in 200whateveritwas Stefan still doesn’t know everything that happened between Damon and Katherine because Damon repeatedly lied to him or kept things from him, as did Katherine:

Like I don’t understand why it’s so difficult for people to realize that Katherine manipulated the shit out of Stefan and Damon stood back and watched but somehow reach the conclusion that Stefan giving Elena her diary in 1x01 is a diabolical plan. It’s really akin to the anons who ask me if Caroline was too judgemental about Damon and Elena and a bad friend to Elena but don’t even consider that Elena was a bad friend to Caroline by fucking her rapist.

NOT TO MENTION, that even if this was correct, you are comparing Stefan hitting on Katherine even though she slept with Damon first (because that’s all Stefan would know about the matter) with Damon sleeping with Elena the day after she broke up with Stefan when he was privy to the knowledge that Stefan had resisted compulsion for Elena, had taken bullets for Elena, had fought off werewolves for Elena, had vowed to die for Elena, had been so deeply, profoundly, irrevocably, head-over-heels, us-against-the-world in LOVE with Elena and that is just ridiculous.

Because when Stefan say this:

He’s saying that at the time, he didn’t care that out of the two of them, he thought Katherine chose him because he just wanted her and he’d won the competition fair and square and Damon would just have to deal with it:

When Damon says this

He’s saying I know that you two had an epic love story and that you’re the love of my brother’s life but I really don’t give a shit that you two aren’t together anymore because it makes me feel better.

Absolutely not the same thing. No.
