Closeted Harry coming out to Ron after his breakup with Ginny and Ron just being like, “cool just don’t date one of my brothers”

Fred and George freezing and looking at Harry with nothing but absolute delight at the potential mischief.

Harry making eye contact with them, immediately understanding their intentions, and winking as he puts a finger to his lips, shushing them.

Ron following Harry’s line of sight and screaming “NO. NO. FUCK NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT.”

Harry and the twins platonically flirting in the most obnoxious ways imaginable.

Harry showing up to breakfast in the Great Hall late with a different twins sweater on, looking debauched. One or even both the twins give him a salacious once over. Ron wants to sink into the floor and die.

Ron eventually gets used to this but absolutely loses it when the rest of his brothers send him their sweaters and flirt with him at the Burrow.

The Weasley boys sending flirty howlers to Harry just to send Ron spiraling.

Ron being so relieved when Harry dates literally anyone who isn’t one of his older brothers.

Bruh I hate people who glorify the mauraders and villainize Snape 💀

Like, if you hate Snape for bullying, hate the Mauraders too for bullying.

The Mauraders are basically those kids who peaked in highschool/college.

I had the urge to write this cuz I just saw a edit about how Remus is better because he doesn't traumatize children and the fact that Neville's boggart is Snape.

Like, I feel bad for Neville, but glorifying a person who, in maximum, bullied someone too, in minimum was just a bystander, is worse.

Don't get me wrong, my favourite Maurader is Remus all the way, but I don't put him on a pedestal.

I like Snape too, but I don't justify his bullying of children. In fact, I dislike that part of him

Okay, let's go on a little rant here because I keep seeing this reading and I have thoughts.

So, there are people going round saying that one of the tragic things about Snape is that he kept asking for the DADA position despite knowing it was cursed and could potentially kill him. And say it is him trying to get out of the deal he made with Dumbledore since he is miserable at Hogwarts.

For one, it is likely just a plot hole and not that deep because JKR is not that nuanced.

Secondly, it is not in his character Severus Snape always wanted everything and thought he could have it. Thought he was smart and skilled enough to have his cake and eat it too.

You see it most in his relationship with Lily.

He thought he could make fun and almost kill her sister without her being upset with him. He thought he could be friends with Lily and be a blood purist too. Call her a slur and think it was okay to come to her later and apologize. Gloss it over like he had done before. Later, he thought he could have her husband and son killed, and she would step aside to be with him.

Now, why would Snape give up a very comfortable job at Hogwarts? He gets paid, fed and has a free pass to bully students. He is virtually untouchable there. If anything, Snape asked for the position because he thought he could break the curse and have the one thing he wanted.

Ginny Weasley deserves her own spin off because JKR owes us a good potrayal of female friendship.

And Ginny Weasley is the character in canon that have the most known female friendships.

Give us the story of how Hermione Granger becomes the sister figure of Ginny Weasley's life out of pure convenience, simply because there wasn't enough room in The Burrows.

Give us the story of how Hermione and Ginny become each other's confidant when it comes to boys and love. Of Hermione writing letters to Ginny over the summer about her first relationship with Krum, of Hermione confessing her feelings about Ron to Ginny in hushed whispers.

Give us the story of how Ginny comforted Hermione, reassuring her that she knows 100% as Ron Weasley's sister that the git does love Hermione Granger, even though it will take him couple more years to realize if this love is the romantic kind of love.

Give us the story of Hermione in return giving Ginny her own piece of advice about how she should handle her feelings towards Harry Potter.

Give us the story of how Ginny Weasley becomes Hermione Granger's female best friend. And how she becomes the sister Ginny never had.

Also give us the story of how Luna Lovegood becomes Ginny Weasley's best friend.

Of how weird and silly Loony Lovegood was the first person who dared to approach Second-Year-Ginny Weasley after the whole Chamber debacle last year.

You know, the reluctant type of friendship, where Ginny doesnt quite understand Luna yet, but Luna somehow just become the easiest person Ginny could ever talk to for the first time in two years.

Give us the story of Ginny and Luna sharing Potions and History of Hogwarts classes together, of Luna telling Ginny the most fascinating stories about nargles and wrackspurts that always got Ginny giggling and distracted.

Give us the story of Ginny and Michael Corner sneaking into the Ravenclaw Tower, only for her to ditch him the moment she saw Luna's crestfallen expression as she sat in the corner, Ginny finally reminded that today was the anniversary of her mother's death. "Fancy stealing some desserts from the kitchen, Luna?" Let's go eat and talk about all the fun memories you had with your Mum as we munch some chocolate pies.

Luna would hum and smile, taking Ginny's hand and she led them out to the kitchen. Ginny would shoot an apologetic look towards Michael, who didn't bother to hide his annoyance, but whatever, boyfriends come and go, but Luna and her will last forever.

Give us the story of Ginny, Luna and Neville leading the revolution at Hogwarts.

Give us the story of Ginny fighting with her every being to prevent Luna from being kidnapped.

Give us the story of Ginny and Luna reuniting at Hogwarts only to forced to fight again for their lives.

Give us the story of Ginny and Hermione reuiniting after months not seeing each other, of Hermione hugging and crying together with her, because as much as Ginny had missed the love of her life and brother, she also missed her sister.

Give us the story of Ginny, Hermione and Luna fighting together against the most powerful Dark Witch of all time.

Give us the story of Ginny Potter asking her sister, Hermione and her best friend, Luna, to be the godmothers of her son and daughter.

Give us the untold story of Ginny Weasley, because the Harry Potter series deserve a great female friendship story as much as we had gotten the male and male-female ones.

It’s been on my mind since yesterday…Interesting how there wasn’t really a successful Tom casting in the entire HP movie series…so because no one asked and I ran out of weed I’m going to compare them all.

Here we go. I just recently reread all the books; I wish they had included more of Tom in general because he’s a very important comparison piece for Harry to grapple with. That’s kind of the point of him…he’s the other side to Harry’s coin.

There’s a lot of Tom scenes missing, especially with Ginny, Slughorn, and a few other characters like Hepzibah, that didn’t even make it into the films where we really get a good image of how…pretty he was and how much that added to his manipulative tactics.

1: I’ll never not adore Christian Coulson in the roll but it’s true he was too old (23 when filming CoS) and therefore there was no hope of him coming back…BUT!!!!! the scene where he visits Hepzibah when he’s in his 20’s is something we were robbed of. Something Christian Coulson could have left us reeling from. But nope. They never filmed it. Here’s an image someone made along with a partial missing scene from HBP. And there’s plenty more where that came.

Hero Fiennes was a cute creepy kid but flat toned and that’s okay because he was a baby. I think it was 10/10 to use Ralph Feinnes’ nephew, very cute. He looks the part.

Then there was Frank Dillane who reminded everyone of The Omen and was just so creepy and wonderful…but didn’t look the part. They gave him a bad haircut and shot him on a lens that made his face look…wide. But his performance was utterly chilling and my absolute favorite out of the three young Toms. The way his words are silky and inviting yet sinister making you wonder why you’re uncomfortable…ugh he was so good. I wish so much they’d have styled him better because he’s not a bad looking kid.

Also…Ralph Fiennes circa ‘92. Like come on…That’s all I’m saying. There was a very clear guideline to his looks.

Okay! That’s my speech. Thank you all.

HBO…please PLEASE don’t waste this character.

Better names for Harry Potter's Children

The way that JK Rowling decided on the names..... why????

There are so many better ways... also some of the names they decided on were so outdated... Albus? Really? It's almost lazy...

You could incorporate Rubeus Hagrid by naming one of the kids "Ruby", how about "Minnie" for Minerva McGonagall?

I also wish they could've been more creative:

Oliver/Olive/Olly (Oliver Wood)

Celeste (for Lupin or Luna)

Jenny, Jennie, Jan (For Hermione's "Jean")

Mollie/Molly would've been cute...

Evan, Evans (for a middle name), Evie, Evelyn, Eve could've been in honor of Lily Potter (her maiden name was Evans)

Instead of outright "Lily": Lilith, Lillian, Lilac, Lillyanne

Heidi (Hedwig)

Fredrick/Winifred (for Fred)

Wolfgang is also kind of outdated, but it gives appreciation to Lupin?

There are also a ton of flower names in the HP series, why not continue: Zinnia, Marigold, Violet, Sunny (Sunflower), Lotus, Magnolia, Jasmine etc.

Wesley: a nod to the Weasley family

Alben, Aiden, Al, Ally, Allen (instead of Albus)

You know if James had turned into a deer and stabbed Voldemort I would have actually bought the story of his death being a sacrifice that marauders stans like to tell but no he forgot his wand while hiding from the most powerful wizard (how dumb can you be) and then said something along the line of "Lily run I will try to save you some time." and not a second later dropped dead. Why not turn into a deer and stab him? He most certainly still would have died, but at least he would have actually given his wife some more time to flee. Or just not forget your wand? But I think something like that just can't be expect from James Potter. He didn't even sacrifice his freedom like Lily did to protect Harry. No, he just used his invisibility cloak to sneak out and risk his own life and on top of that his wife's and Harry's. You know, the life they were trying to protect.

Read a little article about fictional characters that people idolize by entirely missing the point and saw this:

Hell yes. Say it louder for the people in the back. Snape is NOT a good guy and there is also a reason that he is Neville Longbottom’s worst fear. A child is so petrified of his teacher and whose fault is that? Yes, it’s Snape’s fault. He terrorizes children/teenagers because he can and if it was the real world, he sure as hell wouldn’t be teaching for long.

It’s also Snape whom Harry only noticed upon his arrival at Hogwarts because Snape was glaring at him. What on earth did Harry do to warrant this? Nothing. He just happened to look like his dad is all. The same dad, might I add, that Snape owed a debt to for saving his miserable life even if James probably did it more to spare Lupin the consequences than to help Snape. The point stands.

And no, Snape did NOT “love” Lily. He was obsessed with her to the point that he even copied her patronus for gods sake. Lily, whom he drove away by being the Magical equivalent of racist. Lily, whom was put in mortal danger partially by Snape’s own actions then he tried to get Voldemort to spare her but not her husband and child regardless how LILY would feel about that. It’s only because he helped get her killed that he switched sides and became a double agent. Too little, too late.

Also, can we PLEASE STOP trying to link Snape and Credence Barebone together?! Sure, I get it’s because Credence has long black hair and wears dark colors in FB3 but STOP. Snape is a jealous, racist, condescending prick among other things while Credence is an abuse survivor with a pure heart despite being gaslit and groomed by the bad guy. YES, he did help Grindelwald for awhile but only because Grindelwald lied to him about his family and Credence left him after he learned what he was told wasn’t true. So no, these two aren’t anything alike.

This is an anti-Snape rant. Arguing with me is not going to get me to like the man because I just don’t. (Even if I love Alan Rickman. I do wonder if he is part of the reason people like the character.)

Imagine an eleven year old Harry Potter, fresh from the greenhouses and his first Herbology class, secretly covered in snakes under his robes. They’re just so nice, it can’t hurt to carry them around and keep them warm. They know their way around the school better than him, anyways.

Enter Professor Snape, starting his first class of Griffindor first year Potions.

“Cloaks and robes off, you will be utilizing open flames; loose, draping fabric will catch fire and send you to the hospital wing.”

Harry and a few other students keeps theirs on, trying to blend into the walls. It does not work.

“ROBES AND CLOAKS OFF. Quickly. You are wasting valuable class time.”

Harry removes his, very reluctantly. His arms and legs wriggle with garden snakes.

“Mr. Potter, what the fuck.”

“They’re my friends, professor.”

Snape walks up to Harry, helping get some of these creatures off of him.

“Why are you crawling with snakes, Mr. Potter?”

“They’re so nice, Professor Snape. Plus they told me the fastest way to your class.”

“You speak to snakes?”

“Always have, yeah.”

Snape realizes he is in no way paid enough to deal with this.

You know, thinking back on it I think Voldy's power was mostly charisma

Like, I don't know I think there's so many things about him that don't make sense

1- his followers: he is shown as having mostly purebloods as a following, along with marginalized groups such as werewolves.

And I get it, he recruited amongst those who felt like side dishes/underappreciated and bigoted radicals hungry for power.

Also I know he promised lots of things at first but when they saw he had to resort to fear and violence to enforce his law in his own circle, I would've deflected, that's small d*ck energy NGL

Which brings me to point 2: purebloods

You would think people so proud of their status would be actually prideful when faced with bold faced liar trying to manipulate them into being his "servants" but no, apparently that's normal? Did no one ask questions when that guy started acting as Lord on their family property?

I would've been outraged, that's for sure. Like, this guy, with no last name worth a second glance, comes around + asks that they "follow" him to "purge" the wizarding world by becoming his vassals, who does he think he is!

3- why was he feared? - did he show great feats of magic? Did he maybe show any kind of dueling skills? Or perhaps incredible strength? No. He broke into a house and failed to defeat a baby (seriously who raised that man, a house elf would have been more efficient and with no casualties too).

No I think his power resided in creativity (not too much mind you, he defiled historical artefacts for hubris) and charisma. He charmed people in positions of power, used fear, group mentality and social stigma to ensure his power over his "followers". He managed to tip over the ministry through reputation alone and then through terror.

4- was Harry really his enemy? Honestly if your enemy is in his teens when you're supposedly the greatest dark Lord after Grindelwald (how many has there even been? We're they all weak or stupid or something?) You have to start asking yourself questions. Like "what the hell?", " what am I doing with my life? ", " that woman didn't even have a single accurate vision in 14 years", "this guy's hair is hella greasy seriously head&shoulders my dude, it doesn't hurt" *ahem* I digress.

Also if I was a follower and saw him get defeated by a baby, I'll either adopt the kid or at the very least not show up in the graveyard. "He was protected by the power of love", this is not Mermaid Melody grow up Lucius. The so-called Dark Lord is a dummy addicted to using magic who couldn't even do the 1 thing he had set out to do himself.

Unfortunately, I think Harry was just a scapegoat. He was a pawn in Dumbles' and Voldy's hands.

Let's talk about Harry Potter shall we

First of all, I would like to make it clear that I do not condone hateful language, if you disagree with me fine but you can do so respectfully this means you don't accuse me of lying or call me names. If you do I will delete your comment and block you I have no time for that.

Albus Dumbledore is both a villain and a hero.

Our lovely headmaster is a master manipulator and while he cares for the greater good of the society I don't think he cares for the greater good of individuals. We all know of his relationship with Grindelwald but the loss he suffered due to the different paths they choose to take in life. I can see the headmaster as a protector but at the same time, he fashions himself to be all-knowing while holding back critical information. The Horcruxes were vile but I'm sure if he had asked in the right places for help he would have known how to remove it from Harry.

He set the boy up to die and manipulated Harry on several occasions. I also want to ask WHY DID HE NOT GIVE BACK THE INVISIBILITY CLOAK? Honestly, I have so many questions about the reasons behind this man's decisions.

Ron Weasley in the movie is not the best friend or boyfriend.

I don't care who you ship with these two however realistically speaking these two would not work. While the book Ron is a much better friend than the movie Ron and has more lines than the movie ron. He is not the ideal friend or boyfriend to anyone he has a nasty habit of abandoning Harry the Goblet of Fire and deathly hallows two. For those of you who are ready to blame the Horcrux shut up. If it were Hermione who left y'all would be up in arms.

Ron may support Harry in his battles and occasionally in his worst times but he is quick to anger and jealousy but rather lazy and sometimes downright cruel.

When it comes to his relationship with Hermione I personally see it as wasteful or a high school love that fades after a year or two probably less. Hermione is ambitious, hardworking and quite determined she is intelligent and fierce. Ron however while he is smart (when he wants to be) lacks ambition and is lazy unless it's something he likes and he does not understand Hermione much.

They Lack shared interests other than magic and Harry the two are very different but they share a trauma bond right. Also, does anyone notice that Ron is quicker to find fault with Hermione than positive things? At least he admits she is scary but brilliant.

Molly Weasley is either too controlling or really dumb.

First of all her response to the bars on the windows and Harry barely being fed bothers me what kind of parent says that. Second of all that woman is not supportive of Fred and George at all and it irritates me. I know that they are identical twins but I have been around identical twins and can easily tell them apart these are your sons lady.

She harps and harps about a ministry job but Charlie is a dragon tamer in Romania and Bill is a curse breaker in Eygpt. The fact two of her eldest sons found their jobs far far away from her says something. THE HOWLERS yall that is cruel just because you have to does not mean you should use it. Embarrassing your kids like that is never okay.

Her lack of respect for Sirius in his own home, when it pertains to his own godson, is disgusting. She acts like she is Harry's mother and while she may be seen as a surrogate she is not his godmother or guardian. While Sirius is a fugitive he is Harry's godfather she did not have any right to treat him as she did.

Her behaviour in the goblet of fire to Hermione before Harry opened his mouth. If it was because she thought Hermione was manipulating or hurting Harry the first thing she should have done was ask Harry about the article and not treat Hermione like that. If this was about Ron and his "feelings" for Hermione then she needs to keep that to herself nobody is obligated to date and marry anyone cause they have a crush on them.

Hermione Granger is often placed on a pedestal

Hermione like every character in this show is flawed as she grows she learns but she has some bad behaviours. She puts books and education before her own individuality and in the first book is a bit of a bossy snob that slowly changes over time. She follows authority without a thought too much for anyone's liking but that also changes but ummm y'all Hermione is dangerous she kept a woman in a jar, convinced Harry and Ron to drug and hide their year mates and then pretend to be them while providing the means to do so.

She uses a spell on a student to help Ron get on the team. Her hitting Draco is a thing of legend but Hermione is definitely not a goody two shoes. What scares me about that is that she hides this side of her behind her bookworm nice girl mask. Only Harry and Ron get to see how cruel and protective Hermione could be.

Ginny Weasley and Harry Potter bother me,

Everyone loves them and that's nice but umm she could pass as his sister. She is literally Lily Evans if she liked Quidditch and was a pureblood when I picked up on the distinction I wanted to vomit. Her description and Lily's are very similar with minor changes honestly this relationship bothers me.

Draco Malfoy was a bigot and racist but he also deserved a chance that is all I am saying on the Draco front.

Harry Potter Rewrite

So, this is only in the planning stages right now but I plan on posting the outlines and shit, so I can get some feedback and make sure I don't have to many plotholes or baf characters.

I will be renaming the characters, giving them actual ethnicities and cultures, and giving the female characters time to shine.

The houses will be changed, and I will be completely redoing Hogwarts itself so it makes more sense since magic is all about balance.

I will not be skimping over traumatic things but there will be warnings. Harry's abuse, and trauma will be talked about and shown as realistic as I can possible show it for someone who has not been abused. If I mistakenly show something wrong I ask that you inform me so I can fix it.

The Worldbuilding will aslo be completely upended because everything is in relation to Harry himself which doesn't make any sense.
